Hazbin Hotel/Supernatural cross, where Alice is the daughter of Alastor the Radio Demon. And yes, it does get explained later. Sam is absolutely a rainbow baby in this one, if you understand the term. Also, the Lilith that the boy's deal with is NOT the same Lilith from Hazbin Hotel...she's a fake who's deluded herself into believing she is the actual Lilith, which annoys the real one greatly whenever it's mentioned.

Mary looked at the wide eyed little girl that could make anyone's heart melt. The girl couldn't be older than two or three at most.

It had taken a considerable amount of coaxing to convince John into possibly adopting a child, mostly as a way to help cope with their recent loss. Mary had been devastated when they lost their little girl. John had been at work, so he had only found out after the fact.

Staring down at this little girl, who had the prettiest brownish-red eyes, Mary was smitten. She wasn't that far off from Dean's age and he had been so looking forward to a little sibling to dote on. He had been looking forward to being a big brother.

John was fine with whatever kid she picked, since she was the one who would be spending the most time with the children.

The next day they came back, this time with Dean in tow...and he was absolutely smitten with the same child Mary had found.

While Mary was watching the two interact, John went to one of the workers.

"I'm glad someone has a chance to adopt poor Alice," commented the woman.

"Why?" asked John.

"Poor girl's mother was murdered two months ago. No suspects," she replied.

That got John's immediate attention. With a little prodding, John got enough details to look up the case that happened the next county over and he was appalled. Some poor woman who made a living as a 'specialized herbalist' had been targeted by some nut job and her place trashed. Fortunately the little girl survived, but only because the mother had spent the little time she had before the killer broke in to hide her daughter.

Any resistance John had to the little girl dropped learning about that. It took them several weeks, mostly to fill out the paperwork and deal with the required visits, but in almost no time at all Alice came home with them.

Then, a miracle happened. Mary ended up pregnant, despite the doctors warning her that she was highly unlikely to carry another child to term after the emergency surgery they had to perform.

His name was Sam.

Twenty-seven years later...

Sam looked at Dean worried. Ever since he had made that deal to bring him back, Dean had been acting...well, off. It was clear that his impending death was getting to him, even if Dean wouldn't admit it to himself.

"Sam, I know you have something to say, so just say it," sighed Dean.

"It's just...does Alice know about everything going on?" asked Sam. Alice would be devastated if anything happened to her brothers.

Dean winced visibly.

"Yeah, about that..."

"Dean," said Sam. "You never did explain why Alice wasn't with you when you arrived at Stanford."

Dean sighed.

"You know that stupid radio show that she insists is real, despite us hearing only static?"

"The White Noise channel, what about it?" asked Sam.

"When you went to Stanford, she had a massive fight with dad because he became extra clingy and found her reading actual books on voodoo witchcraft. He insisted it was evil, and demanded that she stopped, so she left too rather than deal with his paranoia," said Dean.

Sam winced as well.

"What does that have to do with the channel?"

"I'm getting to that. We went to a witch doctor, and they said there was a chance she could find the channel's source. I tried...not very hard mind you, considering some of the things dad said to her...to stay, but she insisted. Last I heard from her, she may have found a credible source for why she can hear that channel and we can't."

Sam stared at him.

"What sort of source?"

"She was hunting down a family of Satanists, but it turned out to be a dead end due to an odd anonymous report. But she found something that made her sound really excited. That was the last I heard from her, and that was about six months ago."

"Dean, she needs to know," said Sam.

Dean considered this. It was bad enough Sam knew...Alice would flip her shit once she found out the full scope of what had been going on while she was tracking down that station.

But...she was their sister, even if their mom had never given birth to her.

"She's in Louisiana, last I heard from Bobby," said Dean.

"What are we waiting for then?"

Alice was making jambalaya using a special recipe she had found while in her search. She had managed to track down some very old radio clips from the time period, and had even managed to find a really old picture as well. She was certain that she had found the mystery radio host she kept hearing on the 'white noise' channel.

Only it wasn't white noise...not to her. She loved listening to the radio host talk every night, as well as the jazz and older music he favored. Alastor was a hoot to listen to.

It was only six months ago that she finally found a clue to the mystery station.

Even if that clue came in the form of a phone someone had dropped and forgotten. The information she found on the device had been rather illuminating...even if the text messages she found were highly disturbing and ridiculously graphic.

She didn't know who this...Blitzo...was, but he had some rather raunchy and perverted tastes. The same went for this 'Stolas'. Though from the sound of things, Stolas was the main instigator and a submissive to Blitzo. And that was about as much detail as she cared to remember about the two.

She still had nightmares from some of the more...graphic... pictures she found.

So you could imagine her surprise when she heard a very familiar engine parking nearby. Putting the food on low, she looked out the window to find a certain Impala. Her smile broadened when she saw not just Dean, but Sam as well.

She went to her room to switch out her clothes. She hadn't expected company today, and this was such a pleasant surprise.

"Sam! Dean!" she said, opening the door and hugging her younger sibling tightly.

Sam happily hugged her back, and was highly amused that Alice was still the shortest of the three.

"I smell food," said Dean.

"I'm making a recipe I found by accident. I can make some rice too if you like," said Alice cheerfully.

Dean's stomach rumbled and he about cried tears of joy when he saw the fresh pie she had in the oven. To be fair, she had been thinking of her brother when she saw the ingredients on sale and had made it on a whim.

Needless to say, the pie did not survive.

"So. What brought you two to the bayou? And don't try to hide it from me Dean, I can sense you fucked up again," said Alice.

Dean winced...and began explaining. Sam knew Alice was beyond pissed because while her smile never faltered, there was an air about her that said Dean was in for a lecture.

"And where, exactly, was he in all this?" she said frostily.

"John's dead," said Sam. "He made a contract of his own to bring Dean back."

"I'm not going to bother crying over him," said Alice flatly. Dean and Sam winced, but that wasn't too surprising.

Alice and John had never gotten along, especially when her psychic abilities started awakening. It had only gotten worse when she kept humming songs she insisted she heard on the radio, but all they ever heard was static. And when Sam left, it was like a powder keg that was about to explode.

Dean wasn't about to argue...Alice had always treated Bobby as their real dad, since John had been more interested in being a hunter and a soldier first, a father never.

"So let me get this straight... the yellow eyed bastard who killed mom captured Sam...and he was killed during some sort of twisted game the demon had cooked up with other psychics. You made a deal with a demon, resulting in the fact you now have only a few months left, is that it?" said Alice, her smile never wavering. Dean wanted to back away, but knew he was screwed either way. "And why didn't you come to me first?!"

"I knew you were searching for that station, and I didn't want you caught up in this mess!" said Dean. Especially when John showed up.

Alice sighed.

"You two are going to stay a few days. I'm going to talk to a few...contacts...I've made and see what I can do. And I will be joining you two idiots until this mess is dealt with."

Dean and Sam did not argue. They knew how stubborn Alice could be.

Alice took her...special...phone out and began making some calls.

Finding that phone had changed everything for her.

Within minutes, a portal opened that lead to a hellish landscape. Alice stepped through without hesitation.

First layer of Hell: Pride

"So...your older brother is Dean Winchester," said Lilith. "You neglected to mention that before."

"I didn't know it was significant," admitted Alice. "I know it would be a hassle to break the contract, but is there any way to gain control of it instead?"

Lilith looked thoughtful.

"It would be difficult. Very difficult, not to mention costly. But..."

Alice was silent. She hung on the woman's every word.

"This could present an opportunity. There are a few demons that have been creating entirely too much attention on Earth. And a few others that got loose because those same demons tricked someone into opening a gate on the Pride ring," said Lilith.

Alice hummed. It was due to that 'incident' that Lilith's husband Lucifer was oddly okay with her existence and the fact she could travel freely between realms. That and a few other reasons.

However he couldn't exactly let her wander hell freely, so he offered her an agreement both sides could live with. Alice would be his enforcer on Earth, dealing with the demons who fucked up or simply drew too much attention to themselves among the living.

Attention meant hunters, and hunters meant heaven would be showing up on Lucifer's doorstep to bitch him out for causing trouble, which meant Lucifer would be pissed and after whoever was causing him problems.

And since he couldn't exactly go topside to the living freely due to the restrictions on him, he had to send someone else to drag the idiots causing problems back down. The problem was that most of those with that skill set were doing other things on Earth or were already busy with contracts in hell.

So you could imagine his surprise when a polite young woman who bore an impossible to miss resemblance to a certain Overlord showed up by accident after summoning a portal she found on an abandoned hellphone.

The only reason Lucifer hadn't been going after the IMP agency regarding their illegal trips to Earth for murder and mayhem was because they were so low level they never actually caused him any real headaches. That and their little commercial amused him greatly with their business model.

Which was why Lucifer offered the arrangement they had now. Alice would help 'deal' with certain idiots causing him trouble (something she would have done anyway since she was a Hunter), and he acted as her sponsor whenever she was in Hell or simply needed information.

Lilith got up and went to a random bookshelf.

"If you're going to track down the demon who currently holds your brother's contract, you're going to need someone who can sniff them out. You're overdue for one anyway."

"Overdue for what?" asked Alice.

"A hellhound."

Alice winced. She had such bad luck with dogs, but Sam loved them so she made do.

Lilith smiled at her, and there was something behind it that made her wonder what the older woman was thinking. As odd as it seemed, she had come to view the older being as a sort of surrogate older sister, or perhaps a mother figure.

Alice returned to Earth with a new little friend. It was a spirited fox-like hellhound, one with a lot of mischief inside of him. It could also create illusions, which she found highly useful.

"Well?" asked Dean.

"Breaking your contract in the time frame we have is impossible... but if we can find the demon who has the contract, we might be able to mitigate things once you go down to the point you won't be tortured," said Alice.

Her brothers stared at her.

"What?"

"...You were gone for three hours and come back with that?"

"Demon contracts are difficult to break for a reason," said Alice flatly. "In hell, souls have considerable power...especially the soul of the Righteous Man."

"Righteous Man?" said Sam.

"My contact told me the real reason Dean was only given a year. There is some sort of prophecy at work regarding the 'righteous man', who is one of the destined vessels of the archangel Micheal. They want to start the end of days early, which my contact was rather unhappy about. Something about too much paperwork," said Alice.

More like Lucifer was livid when he found out why Alice was asking about Dean Winchester, and it had taken him all of an hour to figure out what the idiot demons were really planning behind his back.

He couldn't appear on Earth...yet...but once that cage broke, oh there would be hell to pay. And not for the humans.

Too bad Charlie was busy with her little hotel project...things could have been much simpler if she was willing to act in his stead. That wasn't to say she couldn't be useful later, once Dean was in hell though.

Her brothers were wary, but they also trusted her implicitly. Alice was far more informative about what was really going on than Ruby had been.
