30 minutes later Brit and I are headed to Quinn's condo, she let me use her iPad to look up a few dinner ideas on Pinterest, which is definitely my favorite website in the world, while she drove. I was kind of flustered at my apartment that I didn't eat breakfast so she pulls into a McDonalds to order a coffee and a sausage McMuffin for me, and a sweet tea for herself. I quickly pull out my debit card and hand it to her.

"I'll pay babe." I tell her with a smile.

"Ok." Brittany shrugs and puts her wallet back in her purse and hands the cashier my card. "What are some ideas you have for dinner?" She asks while handing my card back and giving me the bag.

I quickly take a sip of the coffee and smile. "Well I was thinking a seafood bruschetta with a parmesean baguette, and personal spinach and artichoke dip bread bowls for appetizers. I can cut bread to make crispy sticks for dipping too."

"Whoa, that sounds amazing." Brittany said with a smile. "Do you think we can find that many bread bowls? We may need to go to a bakery."

I took a bite of my sandwich and shook my head. "I'm going to bake the bread fresh, then hollow out the bowl myself so I can use the inside for something, so we just can get some frozen dough and I can soften it up and thaw it out, I don't have time to make fresh dough." I explain to her.

"I love bruschetta so I can't wait to taste it." Brittany said while reaching over and grabbing my hand. "And fresh baked bread is sooooooo good." Brittany says excitedly. "Can you make some cinnamon raisin bread one day?" She asks with the cutest smile in the world.

"I'll make you some tomorrow Brit." I tell her while winking at her. "Anything you ever want me to cook or bake, just ask baby."

"Thanks!" She says happily while slightly bouncing in the seat out of excitement.

"Actually, I can probably use the inside of the bowls for the bruschetta." I think out loud to myself. "Do you mind if I use the notes portion on your iPad babe, I want to jot some stuff down before I forget."

"Go ahead, it's yours now." Brittany replies.

"What?" I ask while looking up at her.

"I have 2 iPads San." Brittany said while stopping at a red light. "My uncle bought me one for my birthday this year, but I had this one. I didn't want to tell him that I had one and hurt his feelings because he was all excited when he gave it to me. So you can just keep this one and use it for your cooking stuff if you want."

"Thanks Brit," I tell her. "I can give you some money for it."

"Why would you do that?" She frowned. "I have 2, I don't need 2, so I'm giving you one of them. Not a big deal. I was going to re-gift the other one for Christmas this year anyways." She laughed.

"Well, then this is your Christmas present to me baby, I don't need anything else." I tell her while lifting her hand and kissing it.

"You know you only got like 2 and a half maybe 3 hours of sleep last night San, are you okay to cook all of this all day?" Brittany asked.

I take another bite of my sandwich and stifle back a yawn. "I should be okay."

"Well, while Quinn and I prep stuff for you, can you lay down at least?" Brittany asked as she turned the corner and parked in front of Quinn's building. "An hour power nap will help you out, at least get you through the initial cooking."

"I guess I can do that." I tell her. "What about you?"

"I slept a little longer than you, I got off work around midnight, I went back to your place and went to bed right away, I only woke up when you came in." Brittany said while opening the car door.

"I want you to rest too." I tell her while getting out of the car.

"Well maybe after we prep everything we can lie down together for little while, maybe while you bake the bread."" Brittany suggested.

"Ok, I would like that." I tell her while grabbing her hand and pulling her close to me. She quickly leans down and pecks me on the lips before walking in the building.

I'm standing over by the huge picture window in Quinn and Sam's condo looking out at the New York skyline planning the rest of the meal in my head, when I feel two arms snake around my waist and hug me tightly. I instantly allow my body to melt into Brittany's embrace. I smile when she kisses me softly on the neck and rests her chin on my shoulder.

"Your dinner will go fine Sanny." Brittany says softly in my ear as she slowly moves her hands up and down my sides, I love when she does that, it's so relaxing.

"I hope so." I tell her. "Is Quinn ready yet?"

I feel Brittany shake her head. "No, she's on a phone call."

"Do you think it's crazy for me to skip a salad course and replace it with a shrimp dish?" I ask as I turn in Brittany's arms to face her. "It's kind of like an appetizer and I'm going to serve it on some fresh spring greens."

Brittany cocks her head to the side and thinks for a minute, and now all I can think about is kissing her, because she looks so adorable. "There's no rule you have to have a salad course. Unless of course Popeye is a guest, then he may want a salad so he gets his spinach for the day." She states with a huge smile.

I laugh and wrap my arms around her neck as I lean up to kiss her. "You always know what to say to bring me out of my obsessive mind state." I mumble against her lips before slowly sticking my tongue in and swirling it around hers briefly.

"I just want you to believe in yourself as much I do Santana." Brittany says while tucking a strand of hair behind my ear. "You have to believe in yourself, otherwise you can't do it. If you don't believe in yourself, how do expect anyone else to? Because ultimately, you're the one who has to do it." She adds.

"I can do it Brit." I say with a smile while nodding. "I do believe in myself, and the fact that you believe in me as well, is the best feeling ever."

"Of course you can do it." She winks and kisses me again while slowly massaging my lower back.

"You're like my Brit in shining armor." I laugh out. "You always relax me baby, you help bring out my confidence that I sometimes tuck away, and you have the best cuddles ever." I finish with a smile.

Brittany's eyes light up and twinkle. "So that makes you my Sanny in distress mi' lady." She then suddenly picks me up bridal style and begins to carry me around the living room proudly. "All hail Princess Sanny! All hail Princess Sanny!" She says loudly in an English accent like she is presenting me to the public.

I wrap my arms around her neck and laugh wildly as she walks up to the different pictures hanging on the walls and presents me to the people in them. "You are crazy Brit." I say through laughter.

"Crazy in love with you Chef Sanny." She says with a smile as she lays me on the couch and leans down to kiss me. I completely forget we are at Quinn's place and not one of ours and I pull her on me and wrap my legs around her waist bringing her closer.

"I'm crazy in love with you too Brit." I tell her while looking in her eyes before leaning up and kissing her softly before gradually deepening the kiss. I feel Brittany relax her body on me and cup my face with her hands as I allow her to take control of the kiss. I moan softly into the kiss and run my fingers through her hair.

"Ummmmm you have got to be kidding me Santana, are you really having sex in my living room?!" Quinn says quickly.

Brittany giggles and kisses me once more before standing up and fixing her shirt. "Just a light make out session." Brittany winks at me before grabbing my hands and pulling me up.

"You two are lucky I love you both, yes Brittany anyone that can turn Santana into this love stricken girl has definitely earned my love as well." Quinn laughed. "I have Sam's credit card." She smiled. "Let's go do some shopping."

"Cool." I tell her while kissing Brit one last time and putting my coat back on.

"Brittany what time do you work?" Quinn asks while putting her boots on. "San and I can use my car, I don't want you to be late, you probably know by now how long it takes Iron Chef over here to pick out groceries."

"I'm not going to work today, I want to help you out with your dinner party." Brittany tells her.

"Thanks Brit, you don't need to miss work for that." Quinn says quickly.

"Not a big deal." Brittany smiles at her.

"Hey, I take my food serious." I reply. "You can't just pick out any piece of meat or any ole apple."

Brittany and Quinn both laugh because they know they are right. Grocery shopping with me can be an experience, but if you want your meals to be outstanding, you need to buy outstanding ingredients. I then roll my eyes at the both of them as they start exchanging stories about my grocery store escapades that they've been apart of.

"Remember the apple fiasco Sanny?" Brittany asked while smiling at me.

"Honey Crisp and Pink Lady apples taste different Brit," I say softly. "I only use Honey Crisp when they are in season for my apple pies."

"Oh God, I've been apart of that conversation with the produce manager before." Quinn laughed. "Wait until peach season Brit."

I roll my eyes and retie my boots. "Whatever, the apple pie was awesome wasn't it babe?" I ask Brittany with a slight pout. "And Q, guess who wont be getting any peach cobbler then." I say while sticking my tongue out at her.

Quinn's eyes widen. "You made apple pie?! When?"

Brittany fell over laughing. "She made one a few days ago, I think it's some left at home." Brittany then turns to me and pulls me into a hug. "I loved your apple pie." She says before pecking me on the lips.

"So now Brit gets all my desserts and apple pies." Quinn feigns hurt. "I take my statement back about loving you now Brit." She laughed.

"I'll make you one today if I have time crybaby." I laugh at her. "Ready to go?"

"I'll drive." Quinn says while picking up her car keys.

Me in a grocery store is like a kid in a candy store, I'm in heaven. We each have a cart, since I'm cooking for so many people and we need a good amount of food. I broke down the different courses so it will be easier to get ingredients and probably a little faster too.

We are going up and down the aisles getting everything we need, and other items Quinn needs at home when Brittany speaks up.

"So who's coming tonight Quinnie?" Brittany asks sweetly while holding up a box of risotto to me. I shake my head at her. "Get the blue box please baby, it tastes better."

Quinn smiles at us. "Ummmm, well you two, Sam's brother and his girlfriend, Puck and Rachel, Tina and Mike, and some of Sam's colleagues."

"You didn't invite anyone from work?" I ask her.

"Yeah a new girl just started, she's new to New York, but we hit it off as friends right away. I met her when I overheard her singing a Whitney Houston song in the bathroom while fixing her makeup." Quinn laughs. "Her name is Mercedes, she's super sweet, you guys will love her." Quinn says as we make our way to the produce department.

"Mercedes Jones?" Brittany asks as her eyes light up.

Quinn nods. "You know her?"

"No wonder she called me last night!" She says happily. "Yeah, we went to high school together, she's like my best friend. I knew she was moving out of LA, but she didn't know if it would be to Florida or New York.

I was at work when she called last night, and I planned on calling her back in a few hours."

Seeing Brittany get excited makes me super giddy, I was actually starting to think that Brittany didn't have any friends at all. I can't really judge because Quinn is really my only friend too, but still.

"That's right you did go to high school in LA." I remember with a smile. Brittany has moved around so much its kind of hard to sometimes to keep track of everywhere she's lived.

She nods with a smile. "Yeah, sophomore, junior, and senior year after we moved back from Spain. I haven't seen Cedes in over a year, she has to come see Lord Tubs." She gushed.

I yawn again and Brittany glances over at me. "You ok?" She asks while rubbing my back.

"I nod, yeah I'm ok." I tell her with a smile.

"What's wrong?" Quinn asks as she looks up from her phone.

"San just got home from work at like 3:30, I just don't want her to over work herself without the proper rest she needs." Brittany said.

"Well the dinner party doesn't start until 7." Quinn says. "It won't take you 12 hours to cook will it?" She asks.

I shake my head and yawn again. "No it won't take that long, but can I lay down at your place for like an hour or so?"

"Of course." Quinn nods.

After another 45 minutes in the store we finally check out after spending over $500 on food, not including whatever else Sam is spending on getting liquor. We load up the trunk of Quinn's car and I quickly sit in the back seat, since Quinn and Brittany have been talking non-stop about Christmas decorations and lights for the past 10 minutes.

From what I gather about the conversation, Brittany loves Christmas, like really loves it. I'm big on Christmas too, so I can only imagine how memorable and special this year's holiday will be with her. I start to thinking of all the cool stuff we can do like ice-skating, the Christmas parade, we can make a Gingerbread House, which I do every year, we can put up a tree together and decorate it. My mind is going a mile a minute when it dawns on me, Brit's family doesn't live in New York, and neither does mine. We won't be together for Christmas afterall.

After numerous trips to unload the car and unpack the groceries I quickly start giving out assignments.

"Brit, can you start deveining the prawns for me?" I ask her. "Um, and then start dicing up tomatoes and basil for the bruschetta?"

"Sure." Brittany says with a smile as I hand her the knife to work the prawns.

"Q, can you put the spinach and artichoke on to boil." I then ask her. "And make some mimosas." I add with a smile.

"You're the bartender." She teases. "Hope I make them right." She laughs.

I then pull out the ipad and look over what I want to start on. I decide to start with preparing the ravioli. I grab the squash and put it on to boil, I add brown sugar and cinnamon to the water so it cooks into the skin as seeps in slowly as it starts to soften. I then open 2 bags of cranberries and put them on to boil with a bottle of white wine and sugar.

I pull out the Pillsbury dough we bought, I opted for that over the frozen dough, all 30 tubes, and open a few so I can roll them out and get the mini bread bowls ready. I start molding the dough into the size I want them exactly, and place them in a muffin pan. I press my thumb in the middle of the ball of dough, so I can room for the dip. I make sure to leave enough dough around the perimeter so it looks like a bread bowl. I then grab the bag of beans and fill little pieces of foil and sit it inside the hole, so the bottom doesn't rise. I make about 2 dozen of them and place them in the oven.

Quinn walks over and hands me a blood orange mimosa. I immediately take a sip. "Awesome, thanks Q." I tell her with a smile. "Q, turn down the spinach a little, I don't want it to cook too fast and wilt right away, and open the cream cheese for me please."

Quinn nods and goes over to the stove and turns it down. "What about the artichokes?"

"That's fine." I tell her as I walk over and add some fresh sea salt to the water. I go back to my cranberries that are cooking down and pour a little orange juice in the mixture and stir.

"Prawns are done Sanny." Brittany says while handing me the bowl.

"Thank you baby." I tell her and kiss her on the cheek.

"What are you going to do with those San?" Quinn asks while sitting down at the counter.

I pick up the cream cheese blocks that Quinn opened and cut them into cubes. "Pop this in the microwave for 45 seconds Q." I tell her as I begin to chop up basil leaves. Quinn nods and runs it to the microwave, when she comes back I check to see if it soft enough and smile when it is. "I'm going to add the basil to the cream cheese and stuff the mixture in the back of the prawn where Brit took the vein out." I tell her while holding the prawn up so she can see. "Then I'm going to wrap them in prosciutto and sauté them in a butter garlic sauce."

"Oh my god that sounds amazing." Quinn said as she started to drool.

I laugh at her. "I'm going to use this instead of a salad for dinner. I'm going to serve it on a bed of fresh greens. Is that ok?"

"Hell yeah, more than ok." Quinn says quickly. "Do you need me to help you with any of that?"

I look around and grab the prosciutto. "Can you separate the strips, careful not to tear the piece, I had the butcher slice it thinner than normal."

Quinn nods and begins to pull the meat apart. "You ok over there Brit?" She asks Brittany while smiling.

Brittany looks up from dicing her mountain of tomatoes. "More than ok, I just love watching San cook, sorry if I'm quiet." She giggles, which causes me to blush.

I pull out a bowl of melted butter and brush the prawns after stuffing them with the cream cheese mixture, so the prosciutto sticks to them nicely and lay them flat on a pan. "Wrap the prosciutto around them like this Q." I show her exactly how I want it wrapped. "Make sure the back is covered so the cream cheese stays pushed inside."

I then walk over to Brittany and kiss her on the cheek. "How's it going?" I ask her softly.

She looks up and smiles. "Good, do you want me to chop up the shrimp and crab meat?"

"Please and thank you." I say with a smile. "I'm going to whip up a marinade to for the shrimp and crab meat, once you finish cutting it up. Toss in in the marinade okay? I'm going to let it sit for around 30 minutes before we mix everything together."

"Yes Chef Sanny." She says with a wink.

Quinn bought all fresh meat and seafood, nothing frozen, so prep is super easy and at the rate we are going, I'll be able to squeeze in a nap and some cuddle time with Brit before I need to start making the main course. I mix together a spicy red marinade sauce quickly and set the bowl by Brittany. "You can chop the shrimp a little smaller babe." I tell her as I gently slide the knife out of her hand. "Just like this." I demonstrate while dicing up the shrimp. Brittany slides behind me and wraps her arms around my waist.

"Watching you cook is sexy." She whispers just loud enough for me to hear before kissing me softly on the ear and moving back to stand next to her. I blush like crazy as she takes a sip of her mimosa and sets it down to grab the knife.

"Like this?" She then asks in a normal voice level.

"That's perfect, do the same size for the crab meat." I tell her while going back and continuing to stuff more prawns.

"Good morning ladies." Sam says while entering the kitchen in a sweat suit and holding a duffel bag. "Babe, I just got back from the gym, I'm going to shower and go pick up Puck to get the liquor for tonight." He says while leaning down to kiss Quinn.

"Thanks Sam, can you go get my dry cleaning?" She then asks.

"Yeah, where's the ticket?" He asks her while grabbing a bottle of water out of the fridge. He then kisses Brittany and me on the cheek. "Thanks for cooking tonight Santana."

"No problem." I tell him with a smile. "Are you making those mini key lime pies you made for Thanksgiving?"

I shake my head. "Not this time."

"I'll grab it for you." Quinn says. "Sorry San, be right back." She adds while grabbing Sam's hand and leaving the kitchen.

Brittany and I keep doing our respective prep work while stealing glances at each other when Pharrell's new song "Happy" comes on the radio. Brittany immediately starts singing along while rocking and dancing.

It might seem crazy what I'm about to say

Sunshine she's here, you can take a break

I'm a hot air balloon that could go to space

With the air, like I don't care baby by the way

I quickly look up because Brit has an amazing voice. She smiles and begins to clap her hands along to the beat as she dances towards me and grabs my hands. She then starts singing the chorus while we dance.

Because I'm happy

Clap along if you feel like a room without a roof

Because I'm happy

Clap along if you feel like happiness is the truth

Because I'm happy

Clap along if you know what happiness is to you

Because I'm happy

Clap along if you feel like that's what you wanna do

We start dancing like crazy with one another doing all sorts of goofy dance moves while laughing at each other. I then sing the second verse.

Here come bad news talking this and that

Yeah, give me all you got, don't hold back

Yeah, well I should probably warn you I'll be just fine

Yeah, no offense to you don't waste your time

Here's why

We are facing each other singing our hearts out while clapping to the beat and dancing.

Because I'm happy

Clap along if you feel like a room without a roof

Because I'm happy

Clap along if you feel like happiness is the truth

Because I'm happy

Clap along if you know what happiness is to you

Because I'm happy

Clap along if you feel like that's what you wanna do

She then begins to circle around me clapping while dancing as I sing the bridge to the song.

Happy, come on, bring me down

Happy, come on, bring me down

Love is too happy to bring me down

Come on, bring me down

I said bring me down

Come on, bring me down

Love is too happy to bring me down

Come on, bring me down

I said

Once the song finishes Brittany hugs me tightly while kissing me on the forehead as we are brought out of bubble, that we often get lost in, by Quinn and Sam clapping. "Great performance ladies." Sam laughs. Brittany and I break our embrace and laugh. I then grab her hand and we take a bow together.

"Cutest couple of dorks ever." Quinn laughs while sitting back down and taking a sip of her mimosa.

After a few hours of prep work, everything was ready to be cooked. I decided on two different cupcakes for dessert so I planned on baking those last. Quinn and Sam went to go run some last minutes errands and meet Sam's parents for lunch. Quinn felt bad for leaving but I assured her it was ok. So they left about 30 minutes ago.

I wiped down the kitchen counter and looked at the time. "2pm." I breathe out.

Brittany walked in the kitchen and grabbed my hand. "You need to rest a little Sanny." She said while leading me to the guestroom and closing the door. She slowly unbuttoned my shirt and took it off of me; she then unzipped my jeans and slid them down. I stepped out of my boots and left my jeans in a crumpled mess on the floor. Brittany took her jeans off as well and pulled back the covers. "Come on and lay down." She says while patting the bed.

I nod and lay down close to her. She wraps her arms around me as I pull the cover over us. "I don't want to oversleep Brit." I tell her as my eyes start to close.

"I set the alarm on my phone for an hour and a half." Brittany says while kissing me on the forehead.

"I shouldn't be laying down Brit, I need to finish cooking." I mumble out sleepily.

"Your bruschetta is done, the baguette has been sliced, it just needs to be toasted. The bread bowls and the spinach and artichoke dip is done, you just need to warm it up. I can sautee the prawns for you when we get up, your ravioli is stuffed and just needs to be cooked, and the batter for the cupcakes is done. All you really need to do is make the entrée San." Brittany lists off.

"We made all that?" I ask her with a smile.

"You made all that baby." She whispers to me while pulling me closer. "Take a nap San."

Those are the last words I hear Brit say before I quickly fall asleep.

5pm

"We're cutting it close." I say as calm as I possibly can.

"You're ok on time baby." Brittany assures me. "Stay relaxed ok?"

I nod as I pull the tenderloin out and begin to cut it pieces. "Can you roll out the pastry sheets for me Brit and brush them with the egg wash I just made.."

Brittany nod. "Sure, how big do you want the pieces?" She asks.

I walk over by her with a piece of meat that I just cut and show her. "Big enough to wrap about this comfortably."

"Ok, got it." Brittany says with a big smile while flouring the counter and beginning to roll out the dough.

Quinn comes in the kitchen. "Sorry I'm late."

"It's ok." I tell her as I look up. "Can you handle cooking the ravioli?" I ask her hesitantly. "It's simple, they are already stuffed and cut out, I just need you to cook them in the sauce."

"Ok." Quinn nods. I go to the fridge and pull out the pans of ravioli.

"Light oil Q, they aren't supposed to be fried." I tell her as I turn add some salt and pepper and a drizzle of olive oil to the skillet. "If you think you need more oil tell me, and I'll add more." I tell her as I brush a light coat of butter on the ravioli. "Only 4 or 5 at a time in the skillet." I explain while setting the first batch it. "Don't flip them, just every so often move the skillet like this so they don't stick."

"Got it." Quinn says.

"When the batch is done. Set them in this pan here to stay warm." I say as I lite a sterno can."

I go back to start cutting the meat when I see it's already cut perfectly. I look over at Brittany and she winks at me. "Thanks Brit."

She simply shrugs and goes back to the rolling out the dough. I season the meat and begin to sear all the sides in the pan. "That's great Q." I tell her while glancing over as she slides the ravioli around the pan.

After I sear all the meat, which feels like it took forever, Brittany helped me wrap the meat in the pastry dough so we could bake it. Luckily Quinn's condo has an amazing kitchen, with 2 ovens. I exhale softly as Quinn takes the last of the ravioli out and sets them in the warm. I grab a plate and take three out. "Let's taste ladies." I say with a smile as I hand out forks. I go to the stove and grab the warm sauce I plan to serve it with and pour a little for us. Brittany and Quinn quickly take a bite while I stare between the two of them nervously waiting for their reaction.

"I can't believe this was made in my kitchen San." Quinn says while licking her lips. "This is incredible, you have a gift babe, you really do."

"It's good? You really like it?" I ask with a smile.

Brittany nods. "This is amazing San." She says with a smile. "I can't wait to taste everything else." Brittany then breaks apart the last ravioli and holds it up to my mouth. I accept it and immediately swell with pride. Not to toot my own horn but it's seriously fuckin amazing.

"How are we going to serve everything?" Quinn asked. "You deserve to be sitting down enjoying this like everyone else."

"It's fine Q, I'll serve." I tell her while taking a sip of my water. "You're hosting."

"I called in some reinforcements." Brittany said with a smile.

"What?" I ask her while raising my eyebrow.

"While you took a nap I called some of the teenagers from my class, 3 of them are going to come and serve. I told them to wear all black, so it looks professional. All you need to do is write down exactly how you want everything served and in what order." Brittany explained. "Is that ok Q? These kids are super responsible."

"Sure." Quinn nodded.

I quickly hug Brittany tightly and kiss her. "I love you so much."

"I love you too." She smiles.

"Ok, let's make the risotto and asparagus and I think we are done with dinner, and we can make the cupcakes." I say with a smile. "Q try not to eat all the frosting before I finish this time." I tease.

"No promises." Quinn laughs out.

7pm

Brittany ran to my place and grabbed our clothes so we could shower and get dressed at Quinn's place. I have on a short black dress with gold embellishments and a pair black stilettos. I have my hair pinned up, Brittany mentioned she likes when I wear my up, so that was motivation for this hairstyle. I'm finishing my makeup when Brittany walks in the guestroom. She has on a fitted green dress with a pair of navy, green, and purple heels, her hair is in soft curls, and her eyes are sparkling. "You look beautiful Brit." I tell her while standing up hugging her.

"You look beautiful too." She smiles before kissing me softly. "I don't want to mess up your lipstick she laughed.

"I have more." I tell her while pulling her close and deepening the kiss.

A knock on the bedroom door causes us to break the kiss and I slightly pout. Brittany laughs and hugs me tighter. "We'll be right out." She called out. "Are you ready?" She asks.

I nod. "Yeah I am." I grab her hand and hold it tightly as we walk out the door.

We go to take our seats at the table when a woman comes barreling towards Brittany and pulls her into a big hug.

"Cedes!" Brittany screams out in excitement. "I feel like I haven't seen you in forever, God you look amazing!"

"Me? You are glowing girl." She says with a huge smile.

"My glow is due to my awesome girlfriend." Brittany replies while grabbing my hand again. "Mercedes, this is my girlfriend Santana."

"Nice to meet you." I tell her with a smile while I extend my hand to shake hers. She swats my hand away and hugs me. Yep, they are definitely friends.

"We hug around here girl." Mercedes laughs out. "Any friend of Brittany is a friend of mine."

"Thanks." I tell her with a smile as we head to our seats.

Sam taps his glass with his fork and stands up. "I want to thank everyone for coming tonight. You could have been anywhere in the world tonight, but you're here with me, I appreciate that." He states in a terrible Jay Z impression, to which I roll my eyes at and take a sip of my wine.

"Jay Z!" Brittany says while laughing.

"Did I sound like him?" Sam asks with a smile.

"No, you didn't." I laugh out.

Sam shrugs. "You sure?" He frowns slightly. "Let me try another line."

"No!" Quinn says quickly while standing up next to him and grabbing his arm. "No, baby, everyone is ready to eat." She tries to cover up quickly.

"Ok, cool. I'll do it later." He smiles and kisses her. "Santana, did you want to say what we are eating tonight?" He asks me.

"Sure," The three teenagers Brit got to serve go and grab the appetizers when I nodded to them.

"I thought we would start with a seafood bruschetta on a cilantro and Parmesan baguette." I explain as the servers place two pieces on everyone's plate, and I also made warm spinach and artichoke dip in mini bread bowls. I grilled the artichoke leaves so you can use those to eat the dip with, or just snack on." I say with a smile as the servers place one on everyone's plate as well.

I feel Brittany place her hand on my thigh and squeeze it. I look up at her and smile at her. I look around to gauge everyone's reactions and see what he or she thought about it. I hear a few oh my gods and wows and my heart starts to race in excitement.

"This is amazing!" Rachel, Puck's fiancée says. "I try to stay away from acidic foods like tomatoes, to preserve my singing voice, but this is simply outstanding." She squeals while taking a bite of the bruschetta.

"Thank you." I nod and smile. Once I see that everyone is enjoying the appetizers, I relax a little more and begin to eat as well.

I see Brittany nod to the servers and they clear everyone's plates quickly. They then come back with the next course. "These are cream cheese and basil stuffed prawns, I wrapped them in prosciutto, and sautéed them in garlic butter, then set them on a bed of fresh spring greens. Off to the side is a cranberry and white wine dipping sauce."

"Damn girl." Mercedes exclaimed while eating one. "Brit she cooks like this all the time?"

Brittany nods. "I'm super lucky."

"San, you better start setting my place at the dinner table." Mercedes laughs.

"You're more than welcome to come for dinner anytime." I tell her with a smile. I can tell I'll get along just great with her.

After serving the ravioli, which was stuffed with butternut squash and cranberries that I cooked down with sugar, and topped with a brown sugar glaze, and beef wellington, which I paired with grilled asparagus and mushroom risotto, which was cooked to perfection, everyone broke off and mingled amongst themselves for a while. I grabbed two glasses of champagne and walked over towards Brittany who was looking out the window while she laughed and talked to Mercedes.

Mercedes noticed me and smiled before walking away. "She's all yours."

"Thanks." I tell her with a smile.

"Hey you." I tell her while holding up the champagne to her.

"Hey." She smiles and accepts the glass. "Thank you."

"You look tired." I tell her leaning my head on her shoulder.

"A little." She admits. "How are you?"

"I think full of adrenaline right now." I tell her with a smile.

Brittany is about to say something when a woman walks up to us. "Excuse me, sorry to interrupt." I look up at her and smile.

"It's ok." I tell her.

"I know you cooked dinner but did you make the cupcakes as well?" She asks.

I nod. "Yes I did."

"These are seriously the best cupcakes I've ever had, how did you make them?" She asks. "If you don't want to give the recipe you don't have to."

I laugh. "It's ok. For the margarita cupcake, I used a yellow cake batter with margarita mix added and some tequila." I start to explain. "I then used a lime buttercream frosting with a candied lime on top."

"Wow." She says while shaking her head. "It really tasted like I was drinking a margarita."

"And for the chocolate cupcake, I used Brandy in the batter and Rumchata in the frosting. I call it the 'Drunken Cupcake'" I tell her with a smile.

"Amazing." She smiles again. "Do you sell your cupcakes, I would love to order some for an office party. Do you have a card or a website?"

"I, uh…" I start to stutter out while shaking my head.

Brittany then quickly runs to the coffee table and comes back with a hand full of business cards. "She absolutely has both." She states while handing the woman a business card. "Feel free to email her."

"Thanks, I'll definitely be in touch." She says while looking over the card. "I'm going to try to get another cupcake before they are all gone." She says before walking away.

"Did I miss something?" I ask Brittany with a smile.

"When you were sleep I got on Quinn's computer and quickly made some business cards and sent the design to Office Depot to get printed. I knew you would blow everyone away tonight." Brittany says with a smile. I look down at the card Brittany hands me and mouth drops off. It's a black glossy card with a pink and teal chef off to the side with Aunty Snixx is white letters inside the hat. She has my name, website, and the email she created listed as well.

"I don't have a website." I tell her.

"The first night you cooked for me, remember I took the picture?" Brittany asked.

I nod. "Yeah I do."

"I started an online collection of your meals, like a blog. I've posted every single thing you've ever cooked for me, it's a private page, only I have access to it." She smiles and pulls out her phone. "I made the website when you were sleep and posted pictures of all the cookies and cakes, and desserts you've made. I have pictures of you in action today as well." She adds while holding the phone up to me.

I scroll down the webpage and can't help the tears that come out of my eyes. "I can't believe you did all this Brit." I tell her while looking at the pictures. "I look a mess on this picture baby." I laugh out. I kept wondering why Brittany would hide her hands while we were cooking earlier when I looked up.

"You look beautiful." She laughs. "The flour on your nose and forehead is the best part."

"I don't know what to say." I tell her. "So this is real?" I ask her.

"Aunty Snixx's is a reality now baby." She says with a smile. "I guarantee you the orders will start coming in like crazy."

"I love you Brittany, I love you so much." I tell her as I pull her into a huge hug and kiss her. "I owe you so big for this."

Brittany shakes her head. "You don't owe me anything San." She says before kissing me softly and hugging me tightly. "Seeing your dreams come true is payment enough for me."

After passing out several business cards Brit and I decide to head home finally. "San, I'll go get the car." Brittany said as she left out the guestroom.

I'm sitting on the bed staring at the black, pink, teal, and white business card trying to rack my brain around everything that happened today when Quinn knocks and comes in.

"Thank you Santana." She said while hugging me tightly. "Dinner was beyond amazing, I can't thank you enough."

"It was honestly my pleasure." I tell her with a smile. "I had so much fun cooking today, mainly because I had you and Brit right along side me, but I loved it."

"I paid the servers for you." Quinn states as she stands up.

"You didn't have to do that, I was going to pay them." I tell her while raising my checkbook and waving it. "I was going to write out checks for them."

"Don't worry about it." She smiles. "This is for you, don't open it until you get home." She instructs while handing me a white envelope.

I look over the envelope and can tell it's a letter. "Cool, thanks."

"Drive safely, the snow is really coming down out there." She says while walking me to the door. "Oh and I'm keeping the rest of these business cards to pass out at work." She smiles. "There aren't many left though, a lot of people took handfuls of them."

"Thanks Q." I tell her before kissing her on the cheek before leaving. "Have a good night, I'll call you tomorrow."

Midnight

After Brit and I take a long hot bath together to relax and soak off the day we decide to cuddle in bed and talk for a little bit. I hop out of bed to go grab a bottle of water from the kitchen.

"I'm going to get water Brit, want anything?" I ask her through a yawn.

"Can you bring back a cupcake?" She asks sweetly.

"Sure." I laugh.

I come back a few minutes later and hop in bed. Brittany sits up and brings my legs over her lap and begins to rub my feet slowly. "I'm so proud of you Sanny." She starts. "You put together an amazing menu and cooked it all in the same day."

"That feels so good Brit." I tell her as I close my eyes and lean my head back.

"You deserve to be more than rubbed down for all your hard work today baby." Brittany says while lifting my foot and softly kissing it before continuing to rub them.

I smiled and reach over to grab one of the chocolate cupcakes I made and hold it up to her mouth. She takes a bite and leans forward to kiss me. I moan into the kiss and smile when she breaks it. I take a bite myself and I must admit, this cupcake is amazing. "Thanks for all your help today Brit." I tell her as swing my legs off her lap and straddle her. "I couldn't have done this without you."

She rubs my back slowly. "You're welcome." I offer her another bite of the cupcake and pop the rest in mouth as she slips her hands under my shirt and rubs my back.

I lean down to kiss her and end up yawning right in her mouth. "Shit, I'm sorry Brit." I say quickly.

"You're tired, let's get some sleep Sanny." She says while kissing me softly on the collarbone and laughing. "We are both off tomorrow, so we have all day to cuddle and kiss and make love." She winks.

"Sounds like the perfect Sunday." I tell her as I roll off her and get under the covers. She wiggles close to me and wraps her arm around me tightly. I lean up and turn off the lamp. I turn my head and kiss her softly.

"Good night Brit."

"Good night Chef." She giggles before peppering kisses to the back of my neck. I hear her breathing even out a few minutes later and I know she is asleep.

I lay in Brittany's arms thinking about how perfect today was when I see my phone lighting up. I reach over and grab my phone and see I have 20 new emails. "What the hell?" I whisper out. I open my email app and see that Brittany added my new Aunty Snixx email to my phone and all 20 emails are orders.

"This is really happening." I breathe out with a huge smile as I open email after email from people asking about everything from cupcakes, to cookies, to pies. I reach over and pick up the envelope that Quinn gave me and I pull out the letter.

Santana,

A true friendship is one where both people are equals; they support each other and lift each other up. You are the best friend I could ever ask for, even through all the fights and arguments, we've always been there for each other. I always knew you could cook, but today literally blew my mind away. You would be crazy not to start a catering business, or open some time of shop. The world needs to taste your cooking. I'm so proud of you babe, and proud to call you my best friend. I talked to Sam, and we want to do whatever we can to make Aunty Snixx, I think Brit called it LOL, a reality. The first check of $3500 is what we were going to pay the caterer. You deserve it and please don't try to give it back. You earned it, you made a 4-course meal with appetizers for 16 people on short notice. The second check is money for you to get started on copyrighting, patenting, trademarking, and whatever else you need to do to make this a real business. Use the money for supplies, ingredients, chef coats and hats, or even to rent out a kitchen. Thanks for all your help!

Love Quinn

PS. This is Sam, we want more cookies and pies.

PPS. Excuse my greedy boyfriend, but yes we want more treats. Lol. Quinn

I laugh at the end of the letter and pull out the check smiling before my heart stops when I see the amount.
