Honestly? Kinds of disappointed. Could've been longer but didn't want to make it boring.

What is an OC? I tell you what, it's Luke and he still is!

"I must say, Luke, that headgear you're donning is quite distinctive." After the tumultuous encounter with Diana's mother, the pair now found themselves soaring above the vast expanse of the sea, with the city of Metropolis gradually coming into view.

"In a bad way or...?" Luke inquired, using his plastic wings to glide gracefully over the rippling waters below.

"Oh, no. I believe it complements you rather well," Diana reassured Luke, dispelling any doubts he had about his new appearance.

"Thanks. It was actually a gift. So, are you ready to team up once more, Diana?" he asked, seeking confirmation of their renewed partnership.

"Absolutely! Yet, the question remains – have you reached out to the others beforehand? Reuniting our team requires more than just our enthusiasm," Diana inquired. While she was eager to forge a united front with her companions, she recognized that their receptiveness might not mirror her own, considering Luke's earlier outburst.

Luke winced, feeling a touch sheepish as he contemplated the task of rekindling the connections he had with each of the girls. He understood it wouldn't be a simple endeavor, but he remained resolute in his determination to make amends, even if it meant humbling himself to seek their forgiveness.

"Well, about that... I don't really know where any of them live. I was in a hurry, so I decided to find you first since I knew the general direction the ship was headed," he admitted.

"No cause for concern, Brother Luke. We shall locate them and extend our apologies, just as you did with me. Our team will undoubtedly coalesce once again; we need only present them with a compelling incentive to reconsider," Diana suggested, her optimism mirroring Luke's determination.

"Well, it's getting quite late, Diana. Perhaps we can convene with them at school tomorrow and devise a plan from there," Luke yawned, the strain of extended flight taking a toll on his growing physique. The prospect of collapsing into his bed upon returning home was increasingly appealing.

"Agreed, Lucas. We shall resume our efforts come dawn. The night has been long, and we ought to rest after the events of the day," Diana concurred, acknowledging the need to recharge.

As the pier came into view, Luke began his descent, relieved to set foot on solid ground once again. Avoiding any mention of the situation's potential awkwardness, he quietly relished the warmth emanating from their proximity. He could feel Diana's slim waist against his arms. Noting Diana's remarkable physical strength, he marveled at her prowess – she could pack a punch as powerful as a truck, and her build was equally robust.

Meanwhile, Diana attempted to quell the warmth that had suffused her cheeks since Luke's unexpected embrace. Though she found solace in his hold – a mixture of gentleness and strength – she was grappling with unfamiliar sensations. Luke's arms appeared chiseled, reminiscent of divine sculptures. Confused by these sentiments, Diana's feelings toward Luke had transformed from seeing him as a warrior to a friend, and now an inexplicable sense of attraction. Unaware of the burgeoning emotions, she reveled in the sensation, inadvertently drawing herself closer and prompting Luke to respond by holding her more tightly.

"Um, Diana?" Luke's inquiry disrupted her dreamy reverie, the tone slightly unsettling.

"Yes, Lucas?" Diana responded, her voice carrying an oddly disoriented quality.

"We got a problem." Luke pointed at the foggy pier as Diana saw a bunch of demo-bots near the entrance.

"By the gods, are they here to bring this place of wonder to ruin as well?! This will not stand." She declared as Luke agreed.

"Yeah, they already destroyed Sweet Justice. I'm not letting these buckets of bolts demolish the pier." He did a dive bomb toward the bots.

"Lucas, drop me upon these metallic monstrosities!" Complying with her command, Luke loosened his grip, allowing Diana to gracefully descend into the midst of the robotic assembly. With a deft swing of her sword, she cleaved through several bots, assuming a poised stance against her adversaries. Luke swiftly joined the fray, morphing into a ball-like form to flatten the surrounding bots before standing beside Diana. Their entrance had already subdued a number of foes, yet a formidable contingent remained.

"Citizens, you must vacate this dwelling or business immediately. You are interfering with direct orders from the city. You have thirty seconds to comply."

"Oh, really? Well, you got thirty seconds to get out of here before we pummel your faces in." Luke warned as he clenched his fist. He failed once, he wasn't gonna fail again.

"Agreed, leave this haven at once, or we shall fell you in combat!" As they got ready to have another robot brawl, the ground quaked beneath their feet. The sounds of heavy thuds resonated as the mist revealed an enormous robot that was several times bigger and scarier than the regular ones.

"Um, what... is that?" The two were slightly intimidated by the appearance of their new foe, but they will still protect this pier at any cost.

"Come to ruin the party, dorks?" The robot told the two teens as they saw a Lexcorp logo on the front of the machine.

"Babs was right, Lex Luthor is behind these demolitions!" Luke gasped out, "But why would he want to destroy the pier?"

"Lex? I'm not Lex!" The mega-bot corrected the teens, as the chest cavity opened to reveal the mastermind behind the whole demo-bot situation.

"I am-" The individual grunted, it seemed she was too short as the villain pressed a button to elevate his/her seat. "I'm Lena. Lena Luthor. And all this is my plan, not my stinky brother's. He can never come up with something this good, ugh."

Diana and Luke simply stared in confusion at the reveal of the little girl that was responsible for the ruination of their new favorite places in the city. They were more shocked that a kid caused all of this mess, but it didn't mean that they were gonna take it easy on her. Their blank expressions frustrated the younger Luthor.

"Do I have to spell it out for you, dweebs?"

"Uh, yeah, kind of," Luke told the riled-up child.

"Pfft, typical. You, teenagers, think you're all that just because you can stay up late and be allowed to drive cars." The tiny villain mocked the pair as they grew more bewildered at the situation they were in.

"But you're so dumb, you can't even get the most obvious of evil plans. It was me that ordered the bots to destroy everything that was fun for you teenagers in Metropolis. And all it took was for me to hack the VR goggles my brother invented so that you lame-o's would be too distracted to stop me. And once every teenager is out of the way, kids will rule Metropolis! Muwahahaha!" Lena cackled like a maniac as her plan was close to completion.

Meanwhile, Luke and Diana shared awkward glances at the little girl's 'evil' plan.

"That's gotta be the dumbest plan I've ever heard in my life." Luke sighed in exasperation, to which Diana couldn't help but agree.

"You're the dumbest plan I've ever heard!" Lena countered. "And after I finish destroying this pier, you'll be next!"

"We will not let you. My friend and I shall put an end to your nefarious plot!" Diana announced.

"Yeah, what she said. There's no way I'm gonna let you off the hook for this one, you little brat!" Luke was annoyed, all this time they were fighting against a rebellious kid.

"Whatever, try as you might, heroes!" She scoffed as she commanded the droids to wreck everything within the vicinity. The throes of bystanders who were watching the scene fled for their lives.

"Come, Luke. We shall not let these evildoers go unpunished!" She boldly stated, with Luke mirroring her resolve.

"Well, said. Let's give it our all, Diana!" With a yell, the two clashed against the hordes of mechanical menaces

As the droids threaded closer, Diana used her sword and strength to destroy and slice up the incoming bots. Luke stretched his limbs to crush the bots, changing his hands into hammers, he pummeled all he could, but the enemy was quickly destroying the pier due to their vast numbers.

"There's too many of them!" Luke shouted at Diana who was busy dealing with her own share of robots that started to corner her. Sensing the danger they were in, Luke contorted himself into a ball, this time with spikes, as he rolled across the battlefield, impaling and leaving every robot in his wake mangled and in pieces.

"Their numbers know no bounds." Diana worriedly proclaimed as their energy reserves were depleting.

A bot slammed into Luke as he was thrown into a booth, which caused the stall to fall on top of him.

"Lucas!" She didn't have time to worry about her friend as more and more bots ganged up on her.

With a groan, Luke got up and scanned his surroundings. Most of the buildings were destroyed as the enemy overwhelmed the two.

"We can't do it alone. Diana and I aren't enough to handle all of these demo-bots." He started panting, he felt exhausted. The pier would be utterly demolished at this rate, there has to be a way to turn the tide.

"Come on, Luke. Think! What do we need to do?" He pondered. "If only the others were here, this would be a cinch. I really regret what I did now. I guess it's true, you never know what you had til' you lose it. Stupid, stupid." Luke berated himself as his actions were about to once again cost him heavily.

Just then, he spotted a news crew off to the side that was reporting the events that were happening. An idea popped up into his mind, there may very well be a way to turn this around.

"That's it! Hey, you guys!" The crew stared at him. "Are you live right now?" They nodded at his response. 'Perfect.'

He leaped towards them as he pointed the camera to himself, he wasn't prepared nor did he imagine this was how he was gonna apologize to the girls, but beggars can't be choosers, especially at this time.

"Girls! If you can hear me, I just want to say I'm sorry! Okay? I'm sorry that I was such a jerk to you guys, I let my anger get the better of me and I said some things that I deeply regret. I shouldn't have done what I did. It was wrong of me. Please, can you find it in your hearts to forgive me? I admit I'm not the nicest person to be around, and I should've given the team an actual chance instead of complaining the entire time. I was wrong, our team is awesome, there's nothing else like it here in Metropolis, you girls were awesome, I'm sorry for taking our friendship for granted but I'm willing to give it, to give us, another chance if you girls are! So, please, we need you girls to fight. Fight for what's right against those that seek to do wrong. We need you girls right now, won't you give being in a team another shot?" His words resonated deeply with all those who heard them. He let his heart out as he begged for the girls' forgiveness. Praying to whatever celestial beings that are watching over him, he hoped the girl was watching less he made a fool of himself on the news.

Lena's mech suit grabbed him out of nowhere and held him up to her face. "Aw, the little hero is saying sorry for being a jerk. What a pathetic excuse of a hero you turn out to be." She ridiculed his heartfelt apology for all to see.

"Give it up, hero-dweeb. There's nothing you can do to stop me!" The mega-bot started to squeeze Luke as he began struggling in its grasp. "Your friend is a little busy with my toys, and there's no one left to help you. So just give up, 'cause in a few minutes there will be nothing left of the pier." She laughed at our hero's misfortune. Luke saw Diana being held down by a mountain of robots as she started to lose consciousness.

"No, Luke, don't give up. We can still do this!" She weakly said, her voice strained by the weight of the pile she was under.

"Ha! Face it, there's nothing you super-losers can do to stop me! Be real, plastic boy, you are all alone." As Luke started to lose hope, a flash of green light shone at the corner of his eyes, with a smirk he countered back.

"That's where you're wrong. I am not alone!"

"Huh?" That was all Lena could let out before a massive green fist collided with her mega-bot and it slammed into the ground. Luke sputtered and coughed before taking a deep breath as he was freed from the robot's clutches.

"Took you girls long enough." He couldn't stop the smile forming on his lips as his wish came true.

"Yeah, well, traffic's a killer." Supergirl joked as she and the rest of the girls landed on the dock.

"We heard your apology on the news." Green Lantern stated.

"That was very sweet of you to say all those things, Luke," Bumblebee told the blushing boy as he was slightly embarrassed at saying all those things.

"Yeah, well, I had to do something to get you girls to forgive me." He said as the girls found his bashfulness cute.

"Oh, relax, Luke. It was in the spur of the moment, we know you didn't really mean any of it. Even though it did hurt hearing it the first time." Zatanna consoled Luke as he winced once more.

"Yeah, sorry about that. I promise to never make the same mistake again." He was truly sorry for his wrongs and was determined to patch things up with the rest of the girls. His eyes then landed on Babs, he noticed how apprehensive she was to join them. He approached her to try and reconcile with the bat-themed heroine.

"Batgirl, I owe you the biggest apology. I know that I was a little too harsh with my words back then. The truth is, this whole team thing was foreign to me, and I didn't know how to act when you girls called me your friend. It was nice having you girls around, and I hope we can start over and be a team again. This time officially, what do you say?" He looked down, trying to avoid the contemplative gaze she was boring into him. What was she gonna say? Did he really think a sorry was gonna cut it? She said it herself, what else can he do to remedy the scar he had inflicted?

Luke was starting to fidget in place as he grew more anxious with each passing second. That is until Batgirl pounced on him and gave him a bear hug. "Oh, Luke! Of course, we can be a team again. You don't know how happy this makes me." She let out a few sobs as the rest cheered at the jolly atmosphere of their team becoming whole again. He can't stop the relief washing over him as his mission to reconcile with the girls was a resounding success. Even though he should be flushed at the intimate hug he and Batgirl shared, the feeling of happiness overwhelmed that of embarrassment.

"Sisters, you arrived! Words cannot express how glad I am to see all of us together again." Diana recovered from the dog pile as she reconvened with her friends.

"Yeah, well, someone was pretty good at the art of convincing." Zatanna nudged Luke which caused him to look away,

"Nevertheless, with our team at its full strength, nothing shall stand in our way." Diana proclaimed as the mega-bot stood back up with a furious Lena behind the controls.

"Great timing too, 'cause we still got a bunch of metal butts to kick." Supergirl cracked her knuckles as the rest readied for battle.

"Destroy those super-dorks!" Lena commanded her rigged bots as they rushed toward the superhero squad.

"Are you girls ready for this?" Luke asked as the horde of robots drew closer.

"Never been more ready in my life!" Batgirl posed as she pulled out her arsenal of bat-themed equipment to battle against her opponents.

"I still don't believe in violence, but today I'll make an exception." Green Lantern made two giant green fists of light as she wasn't gonna let those demo-bots ruin another favorite place of hers.

"I'm still a little afraid, but I'll do my best," Bumblebee said with a hint of fright, yet it doesn't shadow her unwavering resolve.

"Well said little Bee, it's time to put on a show." Zatanna conjured spheres of purple energy in her hands. They appeared menacing and powerful as they lined up to face their foes.

"Sisters, and Brother! Only we stand in the way against our enemies and the destruction of this majestic place. It was on this sacred ground that we were united as friends. Now, this pier is where we shall become heroes!" With a battle cry, the team spread out and broke apart all the remaining robots.

The number of their adversaries was dwindling as they continued their one-sided beatdown. Supergirl tore through each bot nonchalantly as she used her heat vision to melt a couple of droids who were harassing a few remaining civilians. Diana weaved and cleaved the rows of enemies in her path. Batgirl threw her batarangs which caused a few rust buckets to explode. Luke held his ground as a group of huddled-up robots went straight towards him, noticing how they were positioned, he whistled at Zatanna who was busy with decimating the few that surrounded her.

"Hey, Zatanna! Ever went bowling?" She turned confused, "Can't say I have, why? Are you asking me out on a date?" She teased Luke as he blushed in response.

"Maybe some other time, but how about I show you how to throw the ball?" He morphed into a sphere as he motioned toward the incoming bots. Catching what he meant, she picked him up with her magic before Zatanna threw him toward the automated machines.

Luke rolled at a staggering pace before his spherical form connected with the demo-bots. The collision caused every single one of them to blow up or fall down as Luke cheered at their perfect game.

"Strike!" He screamed at the result. Zatanna rolled her eyes at how playful Luke was being over a silly little game, though she did find his eccentric behavior humorous and a little contagious. However, what he did next took her breath away.

"That was awesome, Zatanna!" He congratulated her before engulfing the magical woman in a friendly embrace. She blushed within his hold, as Luke realized what he's done. Quickly separating himself from her, he was about to apologize but an explosion cut them off as they were reminded about the fight.

"We'll talk about that later. Right now, we need to stop Lena once and for all!" The team grouped up as the only remaining enemy left standing was the youngest Luthor herself.

"Give it up, Lena! You're out of bots, and out of luck. Just surrender and we'll promise to ease up on your punishment!" Diana shouted as the little girl merely scoffed.

"You think you've won, super-dweebs?"

"Uh, yeah, face it, twerp. Us teens are way better than some spoiled little brat." Supergirl taunted.

"Supergirl, don't be too harsh on her. I'm sure she's just cranky because it's past her bedtime." Luke joked which caused the others to giggle and laugh boisterously.

"Gah! You heroes will pay for this, I'll show what happens when you mess with me, Lena Luthor!" With the push of a button, the mega-bot propelled itself in the air at great speeds. "I'm taking this whole pier with me! Say goodbye suckers!"

The gang panicked as the enormous droid flew higher and higher. "Team, what are we gonna do? Lena's gonna destroy the entire pier, including herself at this rate!" Green Lantern grew concerned. As the team exchanged glances on what they should do to prevent a total catastrophic event from taking place.

"Maybe we can stop the giant warsuit from blowing up instead? We only need to grab Lena from the cockpit while the rest do what they can to destroy the robot before it comes back down." Batgirl surmised time was running short, they needed to act fast.

"But how? One must be small enough to reach inside the control room to fetch the little girl." Zatanna inquired before Bee raised her hand.

"I'll do it." The others shared worried expressions at the notion of sending their friend to a perilous situation.

"Bumblebee, are you sure? It will be dangerous, quite possibly life-threatening." Diana added.

"I'm not, but I need to do this. I gotta prove to you guys that I belong in this team. I'm done being a coward." Bee said with a firm tone as the others were proud of how far their little friend was willing to go to save the day.

"You don't need to prove anything to us, Bee. We're a team, and we look out for each other no matter what." Green Lantern said as they performed a group hug.

"Okay, we got rescuing Lena out of the way. The problem now is dealing with that giant robot. Any suggestions, guys?" Batgirl questioned.

"I say we just throw everything we got at it." Supergirl voiced out.

"That might sound a little extreme. The pier might suffer more damages that way." Green Lantern noted.

"Can't you just vanish it away, Zee?" Batgirl asked the magic user.

"I could, but I can't remember the spell to make something that big disappear." Their options were running thin as the robot began its descent.

"Time's up, guys. Let's just do what we can, Bee go get Lena! The rest of us do whatever we can to stop it from crashing into the pier!" The team concluded as they went ahead to save the day.

Bumblebee rushed head-first towards the mega-bot, ignoring her mind telling her to go back, she entered through the tiny crevices before she reached the control room. Lena was in a crazed state as she lost all reason, only wanting the super-geeks to be destroyed. She didn't get a warning before Bee moved her aside and pulled her out of the ship by breaking the screen glass. In doing so, the mainframe malfunctioned which caused a jolt of electricity to shock the hero in yellow and black. Thankfully, she was relatively unharmed but was knocked out and fainted in the control room.

Supergirl tried to stop the bot by catching it, but at the rate it was falling, she would've torn it in two instead. So she opted by spinning and creating small whirls of winds to slow its descent. Green Lantern searched for any civilians that hasn't evacuated the scene, escorting them from danger. Zatanna used weak pulses of her magic to also lower the speed of the falling mega-bot. Batgirl went towards a pile of barely broken demo-bots, which she hacked and used their hidden missiles to shoot at their boss. Wonder Woman had Luke carry her and become her wings as they reached the bot. The Amazonian Princess used her sword to slice the bot into smaller pieces while Luke went to look for Bee as he wondered what was taking her so long.

"Bumblebee, you in there?!" He yelled, trying to get her attention, but received no response from the bee-themed hero. "Diana, something must've happened to Bee!"

As the bot was nearing the ground, Luke made a selfless decision. "Supergirl take Wonder Woman with you and get her away from here!" He requested which baffled Wonder Woman.

"What? Luke, what about little Bumblebee?!" The ground was starting to get a little too close for comfort as Luke pushed Diana into Kara's waiting arms.

Luke went to where the cockpit should be and saw his friend unconscious with Lena right beside her. He went ahead and grabbed the two and jumped off the warsuit as it crashed against the ground with a resounding thud. He morphed into a chute to keep the two petite girls from harm's way.

"Don't worry, BB. I gotcha." He landed softly as Karen was safe in his arms while he held the main antagonist of the night by her collar as Lena squirmed and whined.

"You super-dweebs ruined everything!" She growled as she clawed at Luke who ignored her fuss.

"Friend, you did it!" Diana and the rest went to join Luke as they celebrated their victory against their first official mission as an official team.

"Is Bumblebee okay?" Green Lantern wondered as they checked up on their friend who was coming to.

"Ugh, did, did we do it?" Karen asked as her eyes swirled from the conundrum she was in.

"Yes, we did it. We're proud of you, little Bee." Luke congratulated, and so did the rest for her brave actions as she became flushed from the compliments coming her way.

"Nice highlights, what's your secret?" Zee pointed out the yellow coloring that appeared in Karen's hair. She must've got it after getting shocked.

"Let's say, courage." She stated as a crowd formed around them.

"No fair! This is not fair!" Lena complained as she lashed out which annoyed the superhero team.

Police sirens blared as a car stopped next to them and two people got out of the vehicle.

"See Mom? I told you she stole my stuff." A familiar bald-headed man interjected the scene, his frustration was evident toward his sibling.

"Lutessa Lena Luthor, get in the car this instant, young lady!" The stout woman, who they believed was the little girl's Mother commanded her child.

Luke passed off the little criminal to her parent as she screamed all the while and trashed inside the car.

"I'm sorry for all the trouble my little girl caused." The mother of two apologized to the heroes that saved the pier from total destruction. "I'll make sure to punish her accordingly."

"It is not a problem, madame. All that matters is that everyone is safe and well." The others nodded with Diana.

"I'm sorry about your warsuit, Lex."

"Don't worry about it, Mom. I'm just glad the little tyke's alright." Lena gave her brother a raspberry as he returned the gesture.

"Oh, do you think you can get those cupcakes you promised?"

"Ha, don't worry, Mom. I'm not saying goodbye to the best snickerdoodles in all of Metropolis." He said as Lexcorp Construction was already repairing the damages Lena had caused the city.

As the car started up, Lena turned to the heroes that foiled her plans. "You'll pay for this, super teen jerks! I will have my revenge!" She banged on the window as Lex waved goodbye. His easy-going persona was gone as he observed the new superhero team in town before he glared at the group as he exited the scene.

The gang was still ecstatic at their first feat as a team. Batgirl then noticed the new headgear Luke was sporting.

"Hey, uh- fellow hero? Nice glasses." Barbara attempted to compliment Luke's apparel but was keeping it on the safe side to not accidentally reveal his identity to the public.

"Ugh, seriously. You need a superhero name. We can't call you by your real name for obvious reasons." Kara groaned as the group found a lot of sense in her statement.

"Ooh, how's about we think of a name for you? Like Stretchy Kid, or Rubbero?" Barbara suggested, to which Luke shrugged them off, he admired the notion but already had a name in mind.

"Thanks, but I actually kind of like the name Lena used to make fun of me." He remembered how she used the term to mock his capabilities, but it actually stuck with him.

"Which is?" Zee asked.

He took a slight pause before he presented his new moniker to the girls, "Plastic Boy."

"Plastic Boy, huh?" Green Lantern and the rest thought about Luke's superhero name.

"Lame, I'd rather go with Ruberro."

"I mean, it's not the worst name out there."

"I dunno. I think it suits him."

"Then from here on out, we shall dub thee as Plastic Boy, all agree?" The girls shouted with bravado as they found the name acceptable. They soon noticed the gathering citizens as they huddled around and clamored in admiration about the hero team that saved the day.

"Awesome, a brand new super team right here in Metropolis!"

"Did you see how they wrecked those robots?"

"Those girls look absolutely gorgeous!"

"The boy is not too shabby himself."

They relished in the cheers headed their way. Being the center of attention might not be as bad as Luke thought as he enjoyed the spotlight a little too much for his liking. Although he was flattered at the compliments and occasional flirting from the bystanders, judging from the looks the girls were giving the crowd made him think otherwise.

'Are they mad about being called beautiful in public? I thought girls liked that.' He thought as he saw the news crew whom he borrowed the camera earlier making their way toward him.

"Greetings, we are from the Daily Planet. You super teens have become the talk of the town, after the stunt you ladies and gent pulled earlier it's safe to see why. Tell us, what should we call this new super team of yours for the whole city to remember?"

Luke checked with the others as they urged him to answer the reporter. He thought long and hard about a name that will reflect the chemistry they shared with each other and the responsibility they now hold.

"You can call us the..."

Months have passed ever since the pier incident, Lena was promptly sent to a correctional facility for misbehavior and disorderly conduct, Luke and the girls became the new protectors of the city, and it was the grand reopening of Sweet Justice!

We see our gang of super-powered teens sitting in their booth as they feasted on sweet delicacies whilst enjoying each other's company. Luke sat next to Diana and Barbara at one end of the table.

"This is the life. Great friends, and delicious chocolate." Zee sighed as she munched on a sugary confection.

"True that, I can't believe how much I would miss Sweet Justice. Especially now that this is our first time here as an actual team." Luke enjoyed his own bowl of frosted delight.

"Here, here!" Kara cheered along with him.

The past few months have been hectic, to say the least, with tests coming up, saving the day, and acting like a normal everyday teen would eventually get to you. But nothing like eating and hanging out with your friends to make it all worthwhile.

"Told you." Jess playfully nudged Luke as his spoonful of ice cream dropped into his red shirt. "It's nice to have everything back to normal."

"Bleh, normal's overrated." Babs had their attention as she slipped on her Boba Tea with her foot propped up on the table.

"Really, we're doing this now?" Luke uttered with a tinge of displeasure as he knows what was gonna happen next. While the girls only became more perplexed at the scene.

"Remember when we first came here, and Diana said we should come here all the time?" She gleefully told her friends.

"Yeah..." Kara said, skeptical about how Babs and Luke were being.

The purple-hoodied teen got in the middle of the gang as she began fiddling with the straw dispenser. Not long after the mechanism activated the rest of the unsuspecting girls screamed in terror as the table unfolded a secret passageway, but to where?

They landed in a pile on an old dumpy mattress as they came from a slide that brought them to a darkened room.

"Ow, Babs what did you do?" Karen said with a groan as the girls shared peeved expressions.

Babs and Luke stood before the group as a light shone before them.

"Everyone, I present to you our own home base! Hit it, Luke." With her signal, Luke flipped a couple of switches which revealed the expanse of the room they were in. With each light showcasing a segment filled with each member's personal belongings and preferences. In Jessica's corner, there was a peaceful ambiance with lots of books and a beanbag chair with plenty of other things to help soothe one's soul. Zee's contained a bunch of her props and magic-related items alongside a signed poster of herself. Barbara had her corner filled with all of her bat gizmos and gadgets. Diana's was filled with her arsenal of weaponry and books about Olympian mythology. Karen got some tech stuff sprawled around and hung across the walls, with beeping noises emanating from her side. Kara had some custom-made gym equipment and graffiti that screamed metal. Luke's area was the most minimal, as it only accommodated stacks of comic books, a bulletin board, and a single comfy-looking chair with a small drawer beside it.

The others awwed and gasped at the intricate and specially designed quarters.

"Luke and I took a few trips to the construction site while they were rebuilding." She felt proud of herself as the others were amazed at her accomplishment, with the help of Luke who mostly did all of the heavy lifting.

"Truly, this place is full of wonder," Diana commented.

"Not bad you two, you guys did an awesome job." Kara gave them both light punches as she munched on a piece of cupcake she managed to grab.

"We can protect the entirety of Metropolis from here. No villain will stand a chance." Jessica remarked.

"Not with the 'Super Squad' on the case!" Babs declared as Karen awwe'd at a framed news article on Luke's corner.

It displayed the team heroically posing to the camera as the citizens cheered for the newest superhero team on the block. With their team name written in bold letters on the front cover.

"I still think the name could be better." Zee told the rest.

"I believe it is fitting for our group. It perfectly articulates our stance and justifies our cause." Diana commented.

"Well, say whatever you like. I think it's perfect." Luke said as he admired how far they came.

"Of course, you would say that, rubber boy." Kara mocked.

"Plastic Boy," Luke corrected. They stared at each other before breaking out in a fit of laughter as the hearty atmosphere reminded them of their wonderful time together as friends, and as a team.

Watch out villains of Metropolis, for the Super Squad is here to save the day!

Nice, the first arc is complete. Now for the second!
