The next day after Thorin's defeat, Cynthian, Felix, Sidon, Yunobo, Riju, Teba, Paya, Purah and Midna were at the castle's conference room discussing the healing that Hyrule was currently going through.
"So now that we're safe from our latest threat, what now?" asked Teba.
"Well we must have the funeral for King Link and Queen Zelda," answered Purah, "Then we should get ready for Princess Cynthia to become our next ruler." "Of course her and Felix's wedding must also happen."
"What about the surviving shadow beings," asked Sidon, "How do we return them to their original forms?"
"I don't really think it's possible," said Midna, "We all tried but it didn't work." "Perhaps this could be the start of a new race for this world and since my father created it, It would seem natural that I should lead it."
"That may be for the best," said Cynthia, "Though I think you may need a proper name for it."
"I actually already came up with one," said Midna, "From this day forth, my people will be called the Twili."
"The Twili," repeated Riju, "That does sound like a nice name."
"I hope you lead the Twili well Midna," said Yunobo, "At least you seem more confident than when I became boss of the Gorons."
"Mind if I ask where you and your people will live Midna," asked Felix.
"I think somewhere in the west side of Hyrule," answered Midna, "Of course many of the Twili will probably go wherever they want but me and Cullen will lead most of them at our new home where we'll also imprison the surviving Twili who served Father."
"We still need to repair any damage caused by the Twili we fought," said Paya, "At least the castle didn't suffer much but some of the towns and villages took heavy damage from all this."
"Well knowing the construction workers of Castle Town and Tarrey Town, the damage should be repaired within days." said Cynthia, "We should probably focus more on the funeral which is tonight."
"Agreed," said Purah, "I just hope everyone can move on after everything that happened." "The King and Queen would have probably wanted that."
The meeting ended and everyone left the room except for Felix, Cynthia and Purah.
"Are you still upset over your parents' death Cynthia," asked Felix.
"I am but I know that I must be strong for them," replied Cynthia.
"It will be alright Princess," said Purah, "From what you told me, Queen Zelda was mainly concerned for your happiness above all else." "I'm sure that you can be happy and strong."
That evening, it was time for the funeral, and Felix and Cynthia were getting ready for it together.
"Cynthia," asked Felix to his fiance, "Do you think things will work out after we get married since it will make us the new King and Queen?"
"I'm sure of it," answered Cynthia, "I always knew I would become Queen eventually but I didn't expect this soon." "But I will have confidence with you as my King."
"It is still surprising to me that so much happened so fast," said Felix, "But your parents did trust me and I won't let them down with helping you."
"Princess Cynthia, Felix, it's time for the funeral to start," said Amina who came into the room Cynthia and Felix were in, "Are you both ready?"
"Yes," answered Cynthia, "Come on Felix, it's time.
Felix, Cynthia and Amina then went to the royal cemetery where lots of other people were waiting. Once they arrived, Purah started the funeral.
"Tonight we mourn for the loss of both King Link and Queen Zelda," said Purah, "Though they seemed invincible, they couldn't survive everything and now we hope that they watch us from the heavens."
After Purah's speech, Cynthia came over and spoke to everyone.
My parents were arguably the best rulers Hyrule ever had," said Cynthia, "It's sad to know they are gone but their legend is not and as long as that is the case, they will never be forgotten." "Now would everyone please place a Silent Princess on both of their coffins?"
As requested, the people attending the funeral went to the coffins and placed a Silent Princess on each of them.
"Link, Zelda," said Felix when it was his turn, "Thank you both for everything." "I promise to take care of Cynthia and Hyrule for you."
Once everyone placed Silent Princesses on both coffins, the coffins were then buried by a few Hylian soldiers.
"I guess that's it," said Purah after the burial was finished, "Everyone you are dismissed now that the funeral is over."
"Good bye Mother and Father," said Cynthia while everyone else except for Felix was leaving, "I will miss you but I will be strong and happy."
After Cynthia said goodbye, she and Felix left as well knowing that things would change for them both soon.
