During the five days that followed the funeral, the construction workers were able to finish repairing the damage caused by the Twili. By the time of the fifth day, once the rebuilding was finished, Cynthia and Felix decided to have their wedding and coronation in two days and once it was announced to the public, preparations took place. At the time, while Cynthia was in Castle Town to check on the wedding preparations and get her wedding dress, Felix had to go to Korok Forest to return the Master Sword knowing it's current purpose was finished.
"Well I guess this is it," said Felix right before returning the Master Sword to the pedestal, "I'll admit, using this sword felt completely right but I know this is for the best."
"Indeed," said the Great Deku Tree, "With Hyrule at peace, there is no need for powerful weapons."
"At least I'm not getting a vision," said Felix after he placed the sword and let go of it, "Perhaps that means Hyrule will be safe now."
"There may come a time when evil rises and the Master Sword is needed again but I think not for a long time," said the Great Deku Tree."
"Well I did what I came here for," said Felix, "Now I should return to Castle Town and see Cynthia one last time before our wedding since I won't be able to see her tomorrow."
"Take care Felix and good luck," said the Great Deku Tree as Felix was leaving.
After getting out of Korok Forest and the Lost Woods, Felix went on his way back to Castle Town. Once he made it back, he looked for Cynthia to check on her.
"Hey Felix," said Arch, who had just spotted Felix at the time, "How's it going?"
"Hi Arch," said Felix, "I see you must be doing some errands for Purah." "Have you seen Cynthia?"
"The Princess is currently with Mother at the cathedral where the wedding will take place," answered Arch, "Her Highness got her wedding dress a while ago and is now seeing the decorations of the cathedral."
"Thanks for the info Arch," thanked Felix before going on his way to the cathedral.
After a short while, Felix found the cathedral and quickly spotted Cynthia and Purah.
"Hey guys," greeted Felix getting Cynthia and Purah's attention, "I'm back."
"Felix," said Cynthia while hugging her fiance, "Glad you're back safely."
"I take it this means you returned the Master Sword," asked Purah.
"I did," answered Felix who then faced Cynthia, "How are the preparations going?" "Arch told me you got your dress already." "What about the decorations?"
"They're marvelous," answered Cynthia after ending the hug, "I've never seen the cathedral like this before even though I've been here for weddings in the past." "I guess they want to make it very special since this will be a royal wedding." "By the way, not only did I buy my dress, I got your tuxedo too." "I left it in your room at the castle before coming here." "How about we all return there and you can check it out?"
"You two go on ahead," said Purah, "I have to get to my house and prepare something special."
Felix and Cynthia then returned to the castle and on the way, people who saw them felt happy for the couple. After they returned, Felix went to his room to check out his tuxedo which he thought just by looking at it would suit him well.
"Cynthia has great fashion taste doesn't she," thought Felix to himself.
"I see you like it," said Carlina who came into the room, "You'll be great at your wedding with the Princess."
"Thanks," said Felix, "Is there a reason you're here though Carlina?"
"Only to tell you that dinner is ready," answered Carlina.
"Very well," said Felix, "I'll be there shortly."
Felix then left his room with the thought that a lot of things would be different from that moment on.
Two days later, Castle Town was filled by a lot of people from all over Hyrule with many of them going to the cathedral. In the cathedral itself, Felix was in a dressing room putting on his tuxedo. By the time he was finished, someone knocked on the door.
"I wonder who that could be," said Felix before answering the door revealing Garry, Amina and Yama.
"Hey Felix," said Amina, "You're looking good."
"She's right," said Garry, "I think you'll be a fine King to Hyrule and an even better husband to Princess Cynthia."
"Well I am feeling nervous about both," admitted Felix, "Though it is good to know you think so." "Why is Yama here though?"
"My mercenary company and I were invited by the Princess," answered Yama, "She said it was best after we played our part during that Twili mess." Personally, as the former King's apprentice, I think it would seem fair to see the succession of his successor."
"We three wish you the best of luck in taking care of the soon to be Queen," said Amina, "Anyway, we have to go now."
They really have faith in me don't they," said Felix to himself after Garry, Amina and Yama left, "Not just them but everyone in Hyrule." "I guess it's about time I get to the ceremony."
Felix then left the dressing room and into where the event would be held. After that, he stood at his position for the wedding and waited for it to begin. As he waited, Felix got to see all the guests and couldn't help but feel that they all had high expectations for him. A few minutes later, the music started which meant the wedding was starting. First came the flower girl who dropped Silent Princesses as she went down the aisle. Then came the ring bearer carrying the rings that Felix learned the previous day were traditionally made royal rings meant for himself and Cynthia. At last Cynthia appeared and as she walked down the aisle, Felix couldn't take his eyes off her thinking that she was the greatest thing he ever saw as she wore her wedding gown and carried a large bouquet of even more Silent Princesses. By the time Cynthia made it to the altar, the music stopped and the priest officiating the wedding spoke.
"Beloved people of Hyrule," said the priest, "Today we bear witness to this historic moment of the union of marriage between Felix and Cynthia." "Felix, do you take Cynthia as your wife to love, cherish, and take care of as long as you both live?"
"I do," said Felix while feeling nervous and happy.
"Cynthia," said the priest again, "Do you take Felix as your husband to love, cherish and take care of as long as you both live?"
"I do," said Cynthia, sounding full of confidence and courage.
The rings were then given to the couple and they each put the one they were given on the other's ring finger.
"By the power granted by Goddess Hylia, I pronounce you husband and wife," said the priest, "You can kiss now."
Felix and Cynthia then kissed and at the time, Felix felt like everything was perfect at the moment. After the kiss ended the couple walked down the aisle while being cheered by those in the room before they followed them to the castle for the coronation. By the time everyone was in the throne room in the castle, the coronation began with another priest presenting Felix and Cynthia with the crowns that were once worn by Link and Zelda.
"I had no idea this crown would be heavy," said Felix to Cynthia in a whisper, "I might get a headache later.'
"You'll get used to it," said Cynthia returning the whisper, "You have been able to do so with everything else."
Once the crowning was finished, those who were present then went to the ballroom to celebrate. The celebration started with a six layer cake being brought in and being served to the new King and Queen who each got a slice.
"You know, said Cynthia while eating her cake slice, "This reminds me of our date." "It was such a fun time." "I hope we can have more fun like that now that we're married."
"As long as our royal duties don't get in the way," said Felix just as he finished his slice of cake, "Would you like to dance now?"
"Of course Felix," answered Cynthia, "Now I'm being reminded of when I confessed to you."
Felix and Cynthia then went to do some dancing and before long, others joined in. After dancing to about five songs, the couple ended up talking to their friends.
"So how does it feel to be ruling Hyrule now," asked Haru to the couple.
"It honestly doesn't feel that real yet," answered Felix, "I mean I never would have guessed this would happen to me back when I was in my old world."
"Well things can be unexpected all the time," said Feray, "Nothing can control the actions of time."
"What about you Cynthia," asked Saima, "You knew you would be Queen eventually." "So how do you feel about it?"
"Well I do feel like a heavy load is on me now with all this responsibility, but I can handle it," answered Cynthia, "By the way, where's Midna?"
"She's with Cullen," answered Haukea, "The two of them want to spend this time together and they even told us they got engaged earlier."
"Well they will be leading the Twili so it is expected," said Felix.
"I for one am honored to be the Queen of Hyrule who witnesses the birth of the new race," said Cynthia."
"King Felix, Queen Cynthia," said Purah who came over to the group, "It's time to take a picture of you both."
"Understood Purah," said Cynthia while she and Felix took their positions for the picture.
Purah then used her Hyrule Phone and snapped a picture of the couple.
"That was great," said Purah who then reached into her pocket, "By the way, I think it's time I gave you this Queen Cynthia."
"My very own Hyrule Phone," asked Cynthia with amazement, "Thank you."
"If I recall correctly," said Felix, "Both Link and Zelda's Hyrule Phones were destroyed when they died." "Did you just make that one?"
"I did," answered Purah, "I also made one for Midna since she will be the first leader of the Twili." "By the way, I think it's time for my new invention to debut." Go outside and you'll see."
Felix and Cynthia then went out of the castle with everyone else following. A minute later, the sky revealed what Felix recognized from his old world as fireworks but were more powerful since they were seen during the day.
"So amazing," said Cynthia, "This is going to be a day I'll always remember."
"Same here," agreed Felix.
Later once the celebration ended, it was time for Felix and Cynthia to begin their honeymoon. So they got into a carriage and once it took off they waved to everyone and afterwards, started to kiss affectionately. During that time, Felix knew that his life was full and complete.
