Voldemort's Memories
/Wow./ Voldemort said. /Guess it's my turn./
/It is./ Harry said.
/Well I will start from the first time I met Dumbledore to the day I knew for certain that man was the true evil in this world and needed to die./ He said.
/Okay./
Memory: Voldemort's (P.O.V)
Knock Knock
Someone knocked on my door. It wasn't rare since almost everyone was afraid of me. I stood up and went to answer the door. If it was the matron and I didn't answer immediately she would punish me for it. I couldn't wait to leave this horrid place. Once the door was opened I found it to be the matron and an elderly man.
'This old man can't be here to adopt me.' I thought.
"You have a visitor, Riddle. Behave." She warned.
"Yes ma'am." I said.
"I'll be by." She warned once more before leaving.
'Bitch.' I thought before looking at the old man.
"Good morning Mr. Riddle. I am Albus Dumbledore." He introduced himself.
"How do you know my name?" I asked him.
"Let's get inside your room and I will explain." He said.
"Why?" I asked.
"So that others cannot hear what I have to say." He said.
"Alright." I said, not trusting him one bit.
"Wonderful." He smiled.
I allowed him to enter my room. He closed the door behind him. I backed away from him and went to my bed. I had a homemade weapon under the pillow and I wanted access to it. He sat down on the chair across the room. I sat on my bed.
"Don't worry, child. I will not harm you." He said.
"I don't know you nor how trustworthy you are." I said to him.
"Fair enough." He said and I could see how unhappy he was with that.
"Not that we are in my room, please explain how you know my name." I said, nearly demanding he tell me.
"I know your name because it appeared on the registry of the school I work at." He said.
"It appeared? How?" I asked.
Albus smiled at that. "Magic." He said.
"Magic? Seriously? Do I look like a child?" I rolled my eyes.
"Oh magic is real. You are a wizard." He told me.
"I'm eleven, not three." I said.
The old man chuckled and pulled out a stick. "I can prove it."
"With a stick?" I raised my eyebrow.
"With my wand." He corrected me.
"Of course it is a wand." I rolled my eyes.
"Just watch." He said, seemingly irritated with me.
With a wave of his wand he made a book on my desk float in the air. I was very shocked by that. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. The man had done magic. He said I could do magic. Maybe those things like talking to snakes and getting back at the kids for what they did was actually magic. Whatever I did to those kids I did without touching them. A lot of things were making sense to me.
"See." He said.
"I do."
"I am here today to help you get your school supplies." He handed me a letter.
"What is this?" I ask, looking at it.
"Your school letter." He answered.
The letter had my name and my room right on the front. I wasn't pleased. I quickly opened the letter and read it. It said I was invited to go to Hogwarts. There was even a supply list. I looked at the man.
"I don't have money." I told him.
"You are what we call a muggleborn and therefore you get a scholarship. It will be enough to get you your uniform and school supplies." He said.
"I see. Oh hold on." I said.
"Is something wrong?" He asked.
"Just Vladimir." I said as a green garden snake slithered up my arm.
"A snake?" He sounded surprised and disgusted.
"Do you not like them?" I asked. Hello beautiful. I greeted her.
"You speak parseltongue." He tried to hide his disgust.
"Sir?" I looked at him.
"Parseltongue is the ability to talk to snakes." He said.
"Oh. I am assuming not every wizard can speak it. I wondered about that now that I know I am a wizard." I told him.
"No. It is a rare talent that only evil wizards have been recorded to have. There is such a stigma around it that I am sure that those that do speak it are afraid to." He said.
"Oh I see." I said.
"What did the snake say?" He asked.
"That he spotted Chris, a boy that likes to bully, talking to the matron. He blamed me for a bruise he has." I answered.
"Did you?" He asked me.
"Not this time." I told him.
"Oh? Have you done things to the other children?" He asked.
"Yes. They were bullying me and sometimes I am able to get back at them without me touching them. I now know this is magic." I answered.
"You took trophies." He told me.
"W-what?" I was shocked. 'Does he mean the things I took for leverage?' I wondered.
He did something and all the items I had stolen floated out of the wardrobe. I used those items to make the other kids back off. If they left me alone they would get it back. If not I would keep it. This worked a lot better than when I hurt them. I didn't want to hurt them but I also didn't want to get hurt either. It was easy for me to hurt them if I wanted to but I never really wanted to.
"Those aren't trophies." I explained.
"You still stole them. I have a deal for you." He said.
"Deal? What kind of deal?" I asked, suspicious.
"If you return these items to their rightful owner and apologize I will do everything in my power to have you removed from here." He said.
"Why should I apologize when I was doing this to protect myself?" I asked, upset by that.
"Because you need to show them how much more mature you are." He said.
"Fine." I said. 'I don't see how that will make me more mature but I do want out of here.'
"So we have a deal?" He asked.
"Yes we have a deal." I said.
"Wonderful. Let's go shopping and then you can start your part of the deal." Dumbledore said.
"Alright." I said.
:End of Memory.
\What an ass.\ Harry said to him.
\Indeed. Especially since I was never removed.\ Voldemort said.
\I had a feeling.\ He sighed.
\Yes. I didn't trust him after that year.\ He said.
\I don't blame you. I wish I was like that but unfortunately I was drugged.\ He said.
\Not trusting him didn't help me out.\ The dark lord said.
\True.\
\Are you ready for the next part of my story?\ He asked.
\I am.\ He answered.
\Good.\
Memory: Voldemort's P.O.V
I was sixteen when I learned that Dumbledore was an evil man. I received a diary that summer. They had been anonymously donated. I used to write goals I had and how to finance what I needed in mine. One day he called me into his office. He was the deputy headmaster and transfigurations professor at the time.
I had believed it was about the class. I soon learned how wrong I was. He had learned that I found out about my heritage. Something he knew when he learned I was a parseltongue. He questioned me about it. I answered but didn't tell him everything since I didn't trust him. He knew due to reading my mind.
"I know that you are not telling me everything. I am trying to help you." He said to me.
"You also said you would try to get me removed from the orphanage." I said to him.
"I did try. Now we may have another solution." I could tell he was lying to me.
"Why didn't you do an inheritance test in the first place?" I asked.
"I was told no." He lied again.
"I see." I didn't believe him.
"Water?" He asked me.
"No thank you." I declined.
"Alright, that's it." He said before casting a non-verbal spell on me.
'What the hell?!' I was shocked and I couldn't move.
"Sorry Mr. Riddle but I never wanted you to find out but you can be of some use." He said to me.
'That bastard!' I thought.
"You see I want to get access to Slytherin's library and I know it is in the chamber of secrets. I know any parseltongue can enter but only the heir can control the beast." He revealed.
'Daphne is not a beast.' I was pissed off.
"You will control the beast and then I will access the library. Afterwards I'll remove the spell and your memory." He smirked.
'You bastard.' I wanted to kill him.
"Oh I can't wait to see what kind of spells and potions I can use." He moaned out.
'You sick bastard! I am a student and I have a feeling that what you want isn't for a good cause.' I tried to break free of the spell.
"I will be able to gain so much power and money. I will be the one true god in the world." He dreamily said.
'He's delusional. Lady Magic, Lord Death, Lady Fate, Lady Destiny, Lady Nature, and Lord Time would never accept him as a god and I don't see them letting it happen. Fuck this spell is strong.' I thought, hoping that I could still break free.
"Go." He ordered me.
'I will break free.' I thought, as my body did as ordered.
I made my way to the chamber. As soon as I entered I felt my family's magic wash over me. I felt the spell being removed. I told Daphne my problem but she wasn't able to come up with a solution. Luckily Salazar's portrait did.
"Lead him to the false chamber. I made it as a decoy for just this reason." He said.
"False Chamber?" I asked, never hearing of it.
"The map is over there." He pointed at the table.
"Okay."
I walked over to the map and picked it up. I could see the real chamber and the false chamber. The entrance was actually near the entrance leading to the girls room. I looked over at my ancestor with a smirk. This should make Dumbledore believe that Salazar's library was never in the chamber or moved.
"Thank you." I said.
"You're welcome." He said, "Go on."
"Okay."
I quickly made my way to the other chamber. I noticed a snake-like figure. It caused me to smirk. It looked like the body of the basilisk. Salazar thought of everything. I then left and went back to Dumbledore. I reported that the beast was taken care of. He gleefully went to the chamber. When he went inside the replicated head he found no library.
"What the?!" He raged. "Where is the library?"
"I don't know. It never found one." I answered.
He growled and left. I smirked and left as well. I returned to my dorm and went to bed. I had thought that would be the end of it but I was very wrong. Soon students were becoming petrified. I soon learned why.
"That snake is doing wonderful." I heard Dumbledore tell his hooded friend.
"These are children Albus." The friend said.
"They are just petrified. I made sure that the basilisk didn't look at them directly." He said.
'What?' I was shocked.
"How did you get a basilisk?" He asked.
"From the dark market of course. This will make Riddle go check on it and then I will be able to get into the library. He thought he could fool me but I could tell the basilisk was fake." He snarled.
"I see." He said.
'I need to get the library moved.' I thought. 'Luckily there is a second entrance.'
"What happens if a child dies?" He asked.
"One won't but I do have a plan just in case." He said.
"Okay." He shrugged and left.
'Soon.' He said.
I quickly left to the chamber. The second entrance was in the dungeons. I went into an abandoned potion room and went to a snake statue on the wall. I hissed the password and it opened it. This entrance was created by Salazar. It had been the original entrance. The one in the bathroom was actually created after the plumbing had been introduced to the school. It went directly to the library.
"I have bad news." I told Salazar.
"What is it?" He asked, worried.
"Dumbledore knew that the chamber was fake. He bought a basilisk of the dark market and has been using it to petrify students. He's hoping it will make me show him the entrance when I go to check on Daphne." I revealed.
"That man is truly an idiot." He hissed.
"He is. I am going to have the house elves move the library to the castle, as well as Daphne." I told him.
"Good. Despite the fact I left Daphne here as a guardian she isn't safe here, especially if there is another basilisk." He said.
"Why not?" I was confused.
"It would be alright if it is male since they would probably mate. Females on the other hand will fight for dominance. There can't be two queens near each other unless they are kin." He explained.
"I see." That made sense.
"Indeed. You need to also keep safe. My guess is that he will use you as a scapegoat." Salazar told him, worried about his heir.
"I know." I sighed.
Soon I called forth a Slytherin house elf. I gave my orders and soon the library disappeared and so did Daphne. I left the chamber and returned to my dorm. Salazar and I were trying to figure out how to bring Dumbledore to justice.
Unfortunately Dumbledore made a huge mistake beforehand. One that cost a student her life. Dumbledore couldn't even blame me since I made sure to always be around others. He couldn't say I murdered her or tell about the snake since no one could say I was gone for a long period of time and he would have to admit he knew there was a basilisk in the castle.
Soon we found out that the school was going to be shut down. I was upset since that meant that I had to go back to the orphanage. Dumbledore was upset because then he couldn't get to the library or recruit more followers. That was when he came up with a plan.
Since I was always with someone so he spelled them to leave and then spelled me. I was forced to accuse another student. Sure I believed that Hagrid needed to be expelled for the dangerous animals he was constantly bringing in but he didn't deserve to be blamed for Dumbledore.
He then manipulated Hagrid to worship him. He was made groundskeeper once he turned seventeen. The poor half giant didn't stand a chance. The school didn't close but Dumbledore did watch me more closely so that he could get into the library. His basilisk took control of the pipes and even the chamber. I tried to communicate with it but there was something wrong with her.
She seemed to try to listen to me but something was stopping her. She even tried to attack me. After that I graduated. Dumbledore made sure I couldn't get a good job and when he took over Hogwarts he refused to hire me.
:End Memory
"Wait, so you didn't open the chamber? Did you do it a couple years ago, through a child?" Harry asked, confused.
"What?" Voldemort was confused.
