Chapter 4: Red Ribbon Downfall

Upa threaded carefully across the grounds of his tribal home, an axe in hand just in case Tao showed back up before his friend and Yor returned from their training. The thought of them took his attention to the long opposing length of Korin's Tower. "It's already been three days… I hope they made it to the top…"

CRASH!

"Wah!?" Upa jumped, frightened by the loud boom behind him. Turning around, Upa gasped at the sight of his father's killer. Tao Pai Pai loomed over the little boy, having arrived on the pillar like he did last time. Praying for his father to give him strength, Upa held up his axe in preparation to fight the dangerous assassin. "S-so you're back! I'm getting revenge on you for my father's death!"

Tao could care little for the boy's bravado or declaration. "There should be one more ball left. Give it to me."

"HYAH!" Upa tossed the axe at Tao, who effortlessly avoided the weapon. He then struck the child with a low kick, and grabbed him by his throat.

"Seems like you didn't hear me." Tao said to the struggling child. "Where is the Dragon Ball!?"

"L-Like I'd tell you!" Upa grunted, showing deficiency.

"If you don't tell me, then I'll kill you. And then I will just find the ball later anyway, by using the radar." Tao explained, coldly. When Upa continued to defy his demands, Tao no longer saw any reason to keep the boy alive. "What a stubborn kid. Well then, if you insist, I'll just kill you-"

'DIE'

Tao's senses saved his life by a millisecond as he tossed Upa away to dodge the golden knife that would've stabbed through his brain. The assassin couldn't help the bit of sweat that dripped down his forehead, the sudden aura of death that struck him was sickening. As he were some rabbits being hunted by a wolf in the shadows. The mere thought pissed him off more than it should, but who could've possibly…the knife looked familiar.

"NIMBUS!"

Tao's head snapped over to the golden cloud that swooped up Upa before he could collide with Korin's Tower, riding the cloud was none other than Son Goku. "W-what!? How is this possible!?"

THUD!

Staring down the deadly assassin was none other than the failure he had beaten three days ago. The Thorn Princess picked up her knife that was stuck in the ground, twirling it between her fingers. She stared him down with an aura of confidence he hadn't seen from her before, as if she had undergone some transformation in the past three days. "Foolish girl…!" Tao hissed.

Goku left Upa on the Nimbus, touching down next to Yor, gaining Tao's attention next. "I'm the one with the Dragon Ball!" Goku revealed to the assassin.

"Hmph, so you climbed up and hid in the tower. More importantly, congratulations on surviving Tao Pai Pai's Dodon Ray." Tao said to Goku.

"I was saved by the Dragon Ball I put in my pocket!"

"Lucky little bastard." Tao chuckled darkly, then looked at Yor. "And what about you, girl? Come to grovel? Beg for mercy and forgiveness for your embarrassing display?" He continued to mock Yor. "It's too late, I've already informed the Red Ribbon of your failure! As soon as I return with the Dragon Balls, your organization is as good as dead!"

"Then, it's a good thing none of that will happen." Yor's voice was cold but fierce like a raging blizzard. "You'll be dead before you even dream of threatening those important to me again." Her voice spoke of absolute certainty.

Tao honestly laughed at the two, finding their bravado adorable. It was time for him to get serious and show these brats why nobody messes with Tao Pai Pai! "Hand over the Dragon Ball and I promise your deaths will be painless!"

"I'm not handing over the Dragon Ball! You won't be able to beat me again!" Goku declared, confidence rolling off in spades.

"Foolish, boy! You'll be dead in three seconds!" Tao assaulted the two with the intent to kill, but with their new training under their belts, the kids were prepared for him this time. Goku ducked underneath Tao's body, horse kicking him into the air.

Yor followed Tao's body, spin kicking the assassin in the face, and blasting him into the tower. She watched with a bit of satisfaction at how easily they shut the pompous bastard's mouth. Standing next to Goku, the two prepared to continue their battle against Tao. "I think your three seconds are up!" Goku grinned.

"Wh-what's you say!? How did you brats change so much in three days!?" Tao demanded. The two could barely react to his movements three days ago but know they could outpace him so quickly!

"We weren't hiding! We were doing some training up there!" Goku answered, shocking Yor. She wondered why he would reveal that information before realizing that it didn't matter if Tao knew about Master Korin.

The bastard would be dead soon anyway.

"Training!? How could…" He took a second to figure it out. "The Sacred Land of Korin? You two were trained by the legendary Master Korin, weren't you!?"

"Yeah! So, you know who he is!?"

"Heh, interesting." Tao huffed, his arrogance still polluting the air. "A little light exercise once in a while is good for my health, I suppose." He got into a stance, eliciting the two to do the same as well. There was a beat of silence for a moment as the duo stared down the powerful assassin, Upa watching from the safety of the Nimbus.

"FIGHT HARD, GOKU! ASSASSIN GIRL!"

"TSSSSUUUU!" Tao's knee went straight for Yor, who blocked it with her forearm, then used the arm to push herself into the air. Tao attempted to grab her, but Goku took his attention with a close kick. Reaching for the little monkey, Tao's fist was blocked by Goku's hand, then the assassin felt the boy's other leg contact his jaw.

Spinning in the air for a moment, Tao pressed his hands against the grass, extending his right leg to catch the Thorn Princess, who narrowly avoided the attack. Her knife would have struck his leg if he didn't spin around to dodge it. Flipping himself back up right, Tao engaged her in a brief close-combat melee that didn't last long in his favor, the young girl's newfound speed proved to be too much. The man wasn't stupid enough to get stabbed by her knives, he saw the bloodthirsty look in her eyes and remembered just how much she craved the sight of blood.

He tried to grab her wrist, but Yor's nimbleness allowed her to counter his grab with an elbow to his sternum. Her foot kicked his jaw, sending the bastard flying into the air, giving Goku the chance to bounce off the tower and slug the deadly assassin in the jaw. Then, Yor flashed behind Tao's descending body and kicked him like a soccer ball, causing his body to skid across the dirt.

The experienced assassin pushed himself off the ground, wincing from the wounds the kids had beaten into him. His new clothes were torn and dirtied, inciting him to tear the top off, leaving him shirtless. "D-damn you little maggots! Don't think you're some hot shit! I'm simply going easy on the two of you! NOW FACE MY SURE-KILL ATTACK!" Tao pointed his finger at Goku, energy brimming at the tip. "DODON RAY!"

Yor still had no idea how they were able to do this, but her gut was telling her to not get in the way of the attack. She watched as Goku stood with no fear, holding out his hands to guard the attack. "C'MON! I'LL STOP IT RIGHT HERE!" The beam collided with his palms, pushing the martial artist back a few feet, but didn't do any real damage except burning his hands.

Yor couldn't help but admire Goku's strength and tenacity. That attack had beaten him completely three days ago, but now it didn't even seem like it fazed him. Someone like him would be great for the Garden, but he was a boy, so that idea was null and void. Besides, she didn't want a kid as innocent as him to be involved in such a bloody work environment.

But what if she put him in a dress?

As weird thoughts circulated through Yor's head, Tao was shitting his pants. There was no feasible way someone was able to survive the Dondon Ray, let alone block it with their bare palms! "Th-this can't be…! M-my Dondon Ray was…"

"Just like my Kamehameha didn't work on you. Your whatchamacallit didn't work on me either!" Goku yelled.

"Tsk!" Reaching into his pockets, Tao pulled out a capsule.

POOF!

A sword landed in the assassin's head, he wasted no time in slashing it at the monkey boy, who quickly reacted to the wild swings. "Hahahaha! You can't even lift a finger against my sword, can you!?" He laughed obnoxiously until two golden knives blocked his sword. "What!?"

"If a battle with bladed weapons is what you want, then I'll indulge you~!" Yor cooed before pushing the grown man back. Her expert usage of the knives was getting the best of Tao's swordsmanship, the Crane master trying to keep up with her speed. He needed to figure out some way to turn the tables on these kids-

SHATTER!

His sword shattered like glass from the knife as it pierced through the blade, then Yor wasted no time in slashed for his face. Tao barely managed to dodge the attack that surely would've killed him, only managing to get a small cut on his face. Jumping away from the girl, Tao hissed at her, humiliation building up in him. "Don't get so ahead of yourself, Thorn Princess! You're still nothing more than a worthless little girl playing assassin! Your emotions will be the reason you die today!"

"You're wrong." Yor responded, shutting the bastard up. "My emotions give me the strength to get up every day. I may not be an assassin like you, but I use my strength to protect everything behind me, to fight for my own ideals. In this fight, I'll surpass you!" She declared fiercely, preparing to end the fight for good.

"As for me, I won't be able to calm down unless I beat you down with my own fists! We're going to avenge Upa's Dad no matter what!" Goku declared, standing next to his new friend.

"Don't die, you two!" Upa cheered on.

"Beam me? Surpass me?" Tao chuckled. "DON'T GET COCKY, YOU LITTLE SHITS! NOBODY CAN SURPASS THE GREAT TAO PAI PAI!" Tao charged at them with his max speed, smashing his fist against Yor's head, knocking her aside. He then kicked Goku into the air, and volleyball spiked the boy into the ground. Tao pushed himself downwards and smashed his knee into Goku's chest.

Tao stood over Goku's downed body, breathing heavier than he thought he would, but he chose to ignore it. "HAHAHAHAHA! YOU'RE FINALLY DEAD, BOY! IT'S TOO LATE FOR YOU TO REALIZE THE TRUE HORROR OF A PRO ASSASSIN! I'LL BE SENDING THE GIRL TO JOIN YOU SO-"

Goku sat up, cutting off the assassin, worse yet was how the boy suffered no injuries. Goku stood up on his feet, wiping the dirt off his clothes. "You're really strong, that hurt pretty badly."

"W-what…are you a monster!?" Tao cried, genuinely terrified.

"I've read your movements! Now it's time for my counterattack!" Goku declared.

"Y-YOU INSIPID-" Tao tried to move but found himself unable to. "W-why can't I-" That's when he remembered the stinging pain on his cheek where Yor had cut him. "The girl! Her knives have some kind of paralyzing poison! The wretched little bitc-"

"HYAAAAH!" His thoughts were cut off by Goku's devastating assault. The monkey boy shoved his fist into the man's sternum, before jumping up and chopping him on both sides of the neck, and then finished it off with a kick to his jaw.

Tao struggled to move, fighting through the poison. "Wh-what speed! I can't believe it…! Is something this ridiculous even possible!?"

"C'mon! Let's continue!" Goku was still ready to go.

"I… I'm going to be beaten…" Tao came to the horrifying realization. He had to do something quick or else he was done for. "Please forgive me! I beg you! I'll never do another bad thing again!"

Goku and Upa were taken back by his sudden begging. "W-what? But even if you say that…" The monkey turned to Upa, wondering how the boy felt about it.

Tao grinned, reaching into his pocket for the grenade he had stashed and tossing it at the boy, but his plan would never come into fruition as a knife stabbed into his hand, Yor kicked him across the face, grabbing her knife and slashing the bastard across the face. "He's lying, Goku!"

"It's a bomb!" Upa cried.

"You jerk!" Goku kicked the bomb into the air, allowing it to explode harmlessly away from them.

Yor gave Tao no chance to do anything else, she put a ton of power into her leg, and blasted the bastard into the air. "GOKU!"

"YEAH!" Goku yelled, cupping his hands. "KA!"

"ME!"

"HA!"

"ME!"

Tao froze in fear at the building blue light in the boy's hands, there was nothing he could do as the paralyzing poison kept him from moving his body.

"HAAAAAAAA!" Goku unleashed his iconic attack upon the airborne Tao.

"GYAAAAAHHHHH!" Tao cried as the attack sent him flying far away from Korin's Tower, ending the battle in their victory.

Yor watched the speck vanish from sight, allowing her to relax her body. The bastard that had hurt her and threatened the people she loved was now dead. All that was left was dealing with the Red Ribbon Army, and as airheaded she could be, Yor wasn't dumb enough to think they'd listen to her after failing the mission.

Her Shopkeeper did say they weren't exactly a good organization. "Wait…then wouldn't attacking them be fine? The mission was to help them, but if they truly refuse to listen to me then…and if they're going to attack the Garden anyway…"

Goku, who was tying his power pole back around his body, turned to Upa. "Wait here, Upa! I promise I'll get the Dragon Balls and revive your Dad!"

"OKAY!" Upa exclaimed, knowing Goku will keep his promise.

"Yor, you're coming too right!?" Goku asked, taking her out of her thoughts.

"Y-yes!" Yor stuttered from Goku's close proximity. "But, Goku, do you think the Red Ribbon will listen if I ask them to not attack my home?"

"Nah!" Goku didn't even think about it. "They took over this village to find a Dragon Ball and didn't care about the people they hurt in the process. And as soon as we reach their base they'll likely attack us."

Yor figured that would be the case and sighed, then grew a serious expression. "Then let's go and put a stop to them!"

"Yeah!"

"U-uh! Miss. Yor!" Upa spoke up, getting her attention. "Thank you for everything! I hope everything goes well and you can protect your home!"

Yor kneeled before the boy, patting his head like she would Yuri. "You don't have to thank me, Upa, especially after the hand I played in this mess to begin with. We'll bring your Father back before you know it."

"Right!"

"NIMBUS!" Goku called for his cloud, still confusing Yor.

"I still don't understand how this cloud works." She saw Goku use it to save Upa, but didn't question it much then.

"Ah, it's the Nimbus! Only those with pure hearts are able to ride him though." Goku responded before jumping onto his cloud.

"Then I guess I won't be able to ride it then-" Yor frowned before Goku roughly grabbed her and plopped her down on his cloud. The young assassin was momentarily stunned as she felt the fluffiness of the Nimbus.

"See! You can ride the Nimbus just fine!" Goku grinned.

"I-I'm pure…? Even after all the blood I've spilled…" Another huge weight lifted off her shoulders. It seems she wasn't as bad of a person that she had believed herself to be all this time. And it was all thanks to Goku that she could even realize such a thing about herself. "Thank you, Goku-"

"Hang on tight!"

"Eh?"

"GO, NIMBUS!"

"KYAAAAAAAA!" Yor had to keep hold on Goku's smaller waist to prevent herself from falling off of the cloud. The boy was none the wiser to the heart attack he almost gave his female companion.

What the hell was it with these people and unconventional rides!?

Since she was taller than Goku, Yor looked down to see Goku staring at a small circular device. "What is that, Goku?"

"Oh, it's the Dragon Radar, it's how I've been tracking the Dragon Balls. My friend Bulma made it, because she's really smart!" Goku answered. As they continued flying through the air, a small robot suddenly zoomed around them. "Weird, what's with that robot?"

"I don't really know…" Yor replied, just as lost.

In the middle of the ocean, a house rested on a small island. Inside were two young women, an old man, and a turtle. The four of them were staring at the television, which was giving them a live feed of Yor and Goku.

The first woman had light blue hair and eyes, she's dressed in a red shirt that exposed her collar and short brown shorts. This girl was Bulma Briefs, Goku's oldest friend. "It's Goku…and some other girl!"

"Oh! You're right it is him!" Roshi, the turtle hermit, exclaimed. "I didn't know he found another girl to fall for him!" The old man was referring to Chi-Chi, the Ox-King's daughter.

"Get your head out of the gutter, old man!" Bulma huffed. "Knowing Goku, he probably helped her out and is taking her somewhere."

"So, where exactly is he going?" The blonde haired woman known as Launch asked.

"I'll check." Bulma changed the screen to a map that was being used to track the Dragon Balls. "It looks like he's heading to the two Dragon Balls over here."

"He never changes, huh?" Roshi hummed.

"That place…" Launch muttered, remembering something.

Roshi turned to Bulma. "You really are amazing, though, being able to make something like this with just some parts laying around here… I guess your big boobs aren't the only good thing about you!"

"YOU SAID ONE TOO MANY THINGS THERE!" Bulma roared at the old pervert.

"Could he be heading towards the Red Ribbon Army HQ?" Launch figured out where Goku was heading.

"Eh?"

"No way… Pistols may not work against Goku, but still…" Roshi said, nervously.

"I'll check!" Bulma started taking control of the drone next to the two kids. She piloted it towards where the other Dragon Balls were located. "I'll switch over to the camera. It should be in the air above the location." When she did, they were given a shot of the Red Ribbon's base. "Y-you're right!"

"It's the Red Ribbon HQ." Launch said.

"H-he's planning to just bust in there!?" Roshi gasped.

Suddenly, the camera feed was cut, alerting them that the drone had been shot down. "It was shot down!?"

Bulma jumped to her feet, turning to her friends. "We have to do something! Not even Goku can take down the Red Ribbon HQ! And he was even stupid enough to drag some girl into it too, they're going to get killed!"

Launch smirked, feeling a sense of pride from the boy's actions. "Heh, that kid's a crazy one."

"He really left us no choice, guess we'll have to help him out." Roshi said.

"But how are you planning to get there?" Turtle asked.

Roshi gasped, realizing his friend was correct. "That's right! There aren't any means of transportation here, are there?"

Bulma circled the room, pulling at her hair. "If only I could get in touch with Yamcha!"

"Just call him." Turtle said.

"There aren't any phones here!" Bulma reminded him.

"Then, just build one, Bulma." Turtle was the only one thinking logically here. "If you could build that machine, then building a phone is child's play."

Bulma bounced in her spot, appreciating the turtle's quick thinking. "That's it, you're amazing, Turtle!"

"Aw shucks…!" Turtle laughed.

Bulma hurried over to her equipment, quickly getting started on building a phone to contact her boyfriend. All she and the others could do was hope that Goku and that girl didn't get killed before they could arrive to help.

Commander Red was ecstatic as if he was a kid having a birthday party! With two Dragon Balls in his possession now, all he needed was for Tao to bring his four balls, and then they'd be one step closer to his goal!

Officer Black looked at their radar, watching as the Dragon Balls were quickly approaching the base. "The four Dragon Balls are here."

"It's finally time for Tao Pai Pai to bring back his souvenirs for us!" Red laughed.

In front of them, the soldiers were using their tracking communication system to keep the two updated on the Dragon Balls. A message was coming through, prompting one of the men to answer the call. "What? It wasn't Tao Pai Pai?"

"It was just a surveillance robot...okay, Tao Pai Pai is…here…"

"W-WAIT A MINUTE! IT ISN'T TAO PAI PAI!"

"C-Commander Red! The person transporting the four Dragon Balls isn't Tao Pai Pai! It's Son Goku and the Thorn Princess!" An officer shouted.

"W-WHAT!?" Commander Red shouted, flabbergasted.

Goku took out his power pole, seeing as they were finally at the Red Ribbon HQ. He turned to his friend, grinning at her. "Are you ready, Yor!?"

The young assassin was more than ready. "Yes, Goku! Let's give it to them without mercy!"

"ALRIGHT! TIME TO GO WILD!" Goku declared with a mighty roar. The Nimbus descended into the base, allowing the two to jump into the army base and fight!

"W-why is Son Goku still alive!?" Red demanded to know.

"Could this mean that Tao Pai Pai was killed!?" Officer Black suggested. "And not only that…but the Thorn Princess is working with Son Goku."

"All that means is that the Garden really will be on the chopping block after this little issue is dealt with!" Red turned to the radio team. "LISTEN UP! I WANT THOSE BRATS KILLED! NOT ANOTHER STEP FORWARD!"

Yor's knives swiftly ended the lives of several men as they tried to attack her. The young assassin's nimble body evaded every bullet that tried to pierce her skin. Like a phantom, she vanished in and out of sight, spraying the blood of men all over the walls. With the room cleared, she continued her raid on the base, noises above her telling the girl that Goku was doing just fine in his rampage as well.

As she exited the building, gun fire rained down on her. She jumped around to avoid fire from the aircrafts, then shot her knife right at the plane, the golden weapon stabbed through the pilot's head. Yor jumped onto the falling aircraft to retrieve her knife before hopping over to another building before it crashed.

"Kamehameha!" Goku's voice echoed in the background, explosions following his attack. She was going to ask him how he was able to shoot beams out of his hands after this was done.

"It's the Thorn Princess! Kill her!" A soldier shouted, and a parade of armed men attempted to stop her. It was unfortunate for them that she was their opponent, any normal person would've been killed horribly. Instead their blood stained her black dress and weapons, a disgusting trail of corpses left in her wake.

Before she could take another step, an eclectic whip struck the ground in front of her. Yor stopped in place to see a woman with purple hair. She struck a pose, holding the whip dangerously close to her body. "My name's Lieutenant Violet, it'll be a pleasure to kill someone from the esteemed Garden."

"Hm…" Yor hummed, whipping the blood off her knives. "I don't have the time to waste with you. So, can you die for me please~?"

"He's heading straight for building 8!" An officer informed Red.

"So, they're after the Dragon Balls!" Red huffed.

"Commander! You should retreat underground just to be safe!" Black suggested.

"Don't make me laugh! Why do I have to retreat just because of some stupid kids!?"

"B-but they defeated Tao Pai Pai-"

"THE RED RIBBON ARMY IS INVINCIBLE!"

Violet's eyes lost their color, her head rolling across the ground, separated from her body. Yor, with a few burns on her arms, didn't give the corpse another glance as she continued her trek through the base.

Suddenly, Goku touched down right next to her. "Yo!"

"Goku! Are you okay!?" Yor asked, even though it was obvious the boy was alright.

"Yup! I'm just fine-"

BANG!

"OW!" Goku held the stinging mark on his cheek after getting shot. "I'm gonna remember that!" He yelled at the jerk who shot him, making the man cower in fear.

Yor had to blink at the boy for a moment. "Are you sure you're human…?"

"T-they're already inside of building 8! And we've lost more than half of our troops!"

"W-what!? And you call yourselves the strongest army on Earth, the Red Ribbon Army!?" Commander Red couldn't believe his powerful army was falling to the hands of two snot-nosed brats. "We have to hurry to building 8!"

"Right!" Officer Black followed his commander.

"Why does a fragile woman like myself have to go too!?" Bulma yelled at her boyfriend. Currently, she and their group were riding in a Capsule Corp jet towards the Red Ribbon base.

"Yeah, I don't want to die either!" The pig known as Oolong added.

Yamcha, a young man with short black hair, dressed in a green Chinese top with the kanji for "comfort" written on the front and orange pants, turned to his girlfriend. "I'm sure you will all come in handy somehow! You've all been saved by Goku before, haven't you!?"

"Will I come in handy too?" Turtle asked.

Yamcha chose not to answer that question, so he turned to Roshi. "What happened to that Krillin guy?"

"He went off to go swimming and shopping, since we don't have a boat anymore." Roshi answered.

"He's really strong though! We have to get him to help out!" Yamcha exclaimed.

"He should be swimming around here somewhere." Roshi said.

Eventually they found the boy swimming in the ocean, and picked him up. Krillin is a small boy around Goku's height, completely bald with six dots on his forehead, and lacking a nose. "What's that!? Goku went to assault the Red Ribbon Army with some unknown girl!? What the hell is he thinking and is she cute!?"

Everyone gave him flat stares. "Really?"

"What!? I can't be curious!?" Krillin asked.

Commander Red and Officer Black arrived in the main office of building 8. The commander gazed down at the two Dragon Balls. "I will never hand over the Dragon Balls!"

"We're really in a bad situation, those kids possessing strength beyond our wildest imaginations. Not to mention, all the main members of our army have already been done away with while they were out searching." Officer Black said.

Red growled, staring at the monitor that showed the havoc the kids were causing Especially, when Goku didn't bother with the elevator and just blasted himself through the ceiling. "H-how could the Red Ribbon Army be destroyed by someone who doesn't even know how to use an elevator!?"

"We could've taken the elevator!" Yor exclaimed as she tore a man's throat out with her knives. Then crushed another guy's skull with an axe-kick, before tossing her knife into a gunman's eye socket, causing him to release one last blood curdling cry.

"What's an elevator?" Goku asked as he smashed a guy through the wall. He then jumped over the rain of bullets, twirling his power pole into several men, sending them falling out of the building. Goku pushed himself back to avoid one guy's sword, then crashed his power pole above his head, shattering the guy's skull and teeth.

"I…." Yor started, easily avoiding some guy's charge before slicing his back open with her knives. She tried to think of how to respond to what Goku just said, but then she thought better of it and just sighed. "We'll talk about it later."

"Okay!"

"BLAST THEM!"

"Huh?"

BOOM!

Goku took the onslaught of the rockets, coming out mostly unscathed. "You jerks!"

"W-what!?" The rocket men cried. Then one of them realized that Yor was missing. "Wait, where did the Thorn Princess go!?" Above them a shadowed figure slashed at them with her golden knives, ending their lives before they even realized it.

"T-They're monsters!" The remaining men dropped their weapons, running from the terrifying children.

"Monsters? Who are they talking about?" Yor asked.

"I don't know, couldn't be us." Goku responded.

Red hissed at the traitorous men who turned tail. "How pathetic…! And you call yourselves Red Ribbon Soldiers!?"

"The other soldiers have begun to flee, as well." Officer Black informed him.

"U-unbelievable! They're just children!" Red grumbled.

"It looks like it was too late for us to realize that Son Goku's power far exceeds anything we could possibly imagine. As well as the Garden's assassins, even at a young age one of their own is capable of this much. We'll just have to leave the Dragon Balls behind and retreat." Officer Black informed his commander.

"Retreat my ass!" Red smashed his fists against the table. "You think I'm just gonna hand over the Dragon Balls just like that!?"

"Your life may depend on it."

"G…goddammit! I was so close…just a little more, and I could have gotten taller!"

Officer Black paused, not sure if he heard his commander correctly. "Wh…what did you say? C-commander Red, do you mean that you were collecting the Dragon Balls in order to increase your height?"

"YES! GOT ANY COMPLAINTS!?" He roared at his officer.

"Wh-what!?" Black was utterly confused. "It wasn't in order to take control over the world!?"

"With a little time we will be able to do that!" Red huffed. "Before that, though, as the controller, I have to look cool! Gals don't like short men!"

"...That was the reason? You made us all suffer for…"

"How could a ridiculously tall person like you understand how a short person like me feels!?"

Black stared at the short man, all of the respect he held for him slowly dying. "The reason I tracked down the information about the 7 Dragon Balls and the wish they could make come true was in order for the Red Ribbon to conquer the world."

"S-SILENCE I'M THE COMMANDER, SO I CAN DO WHATEVER I WANT!"

"Do you understand how many sacrifices you made out of your men in order for that pathetic wish!?"

"Watch how you talk to your commander! The only reason we lost is because you bastards didn't train yourselves hard enough! NOW JUST SHUT UP AND-

BANG!

Commander Black watched as Red's corpse fell to the floor, the bullet hole right between his eyes. "You have no right to be my commander. I will become the new commander and rebuild the Red Ribbon Army."

SHATTER!

Commander Black turned around to see Goku and Yor had finally arrived. "Is this where the Dragon Balls are!?" Goku asked. Yor looked down, seeing the dead body of Red, then turned back to Commander Black.

"So, you're finally here, Son Goku, Thorn Princess." Commander Black said.

"Are you the boss?" Goku asked.

"That's right. Since a little bit ago." Black answered.

"You killed him." Yor pointed towards the corpse.

"Are you upset?"

"Not really, I was going to do it myself."

"Hm."

Goku walked over to the two Dragon Balls. "We're going to take the Dragon Balls."

"Hm… Son Goku, how about we do this instead? How about we gather the Dragon Balls together, and take over the entire world, just the two of us?"

"And what about me?" Yor asked.

"You can go back to the Garden, I won't even bother attacking them. As long as Son Goku joins me." Black answered.

"Take over the world?" Goku tilted his head.

"Yes! We'll be able to control the world as we please! Anything's fair game!"

"No! I want to bring Upa's Dad, who was killed by one of your men!" Goku refused the suggestion.

"Besides, a world ruled by you Red Ribbon isn't a world where my little brother can live happily. Thus, you must be removed from the equation." Yor prepared her knives.

Commander Black frowned, expecting this outcome. "Oh well, looks like the only way to settle this is to fight. But I'm not foolish enough to think I can take both of you out!" Black tossed out a smoke bomb, blinding their vision. He popped a capsule, allowing a giant dark green mech to appear in the room.

"What the!?" Goku exclaimed, seeing the mech towering over them. Black swung at the little monkey, knocking him across the room. He tried to smash Yor, but the assassin dodged the attack, however the other arm smacked her through the wall and out of the building.

"As I expected, not even you two stand a chance against this Battle Jacket! Now, for the sake of the restructuring of the Red Ribbon Army, you must die!" Black pointed the wrist blaster at Goku, forcing the boy to dodge the beam. Which left him open for Black to grab him, capturing the small monkey.

"Let me go, you meanie!" Goku cried.

"It's pathetic to struggle uselessly like that!" Black declared as he tossed the boy out of the building, then followed suit. "Just wait! I'll stamp out the last bits of life out of you right now!" He fired at Goku's downward body, expecting the boy to be wiped from existence. "Hahaha! Disappeared have you!? I win! The Red Ribbon Army is invincible-"

SHATTER!

Yor's knives struck the glass to the cockpit, stopping the commander's celebration. The young girl appeared on top of the mech, preparing to stab her other knife through the glass. "Fight all you like, girl! But without Son Goku, you won't be able to stop me!"

"I wouldn't be so sure about that!" Goku's voice caught him off guard, the monkey boy also now on top of the mech.

"Y-you little bastard!" Black cried, and tried to smash them with his fist, but the two jumped out of the way before it could hit. Leaving him to hit himself with his own mech. "YOU LITTLE BRATS!"

"Hahaha! You hit yourself!" Goku mocked.

"Yes, stop hitting yourself as other kids my age would say!" Yor added. Suddenly, they were both knocked away from the mech as Black activated the booster jets, flying higher into the sky.

"Fine then, I will just use the missile and take out the entire base with you both!" His mech turned awkwardly in the air to shoot the missile.

The two kids looked at him weirdly. "Is he doing a somersault?" Goku asked.

"Hm…seems more like he's curling up into a ball to me." Yor said.

"NOW DIE!" Black fired the missile in hopes of blowing them both to pieces, but Goku easily kicked the missile away towards the mountains. Leaving Black with nothing else in his arsenal to take down the monstrous children.

"Phew! That was close…took out the mountain with that one." Goku gaped at the explosion.

"An explosion like that is like something I'd seen back home…" Yor frowned from the terrible memories.

"U-unbelievable…too frightening!" Black cried. The man decided to cut his losses and run to fight another day. "R-remember this! I'll be back to finish you off once and for all, for sure!"

"He's running away!" Yor cried.

"I ain't gonna let him! Give me a boost, Yor!" Goku jumped into her arms, allowing Yor to toss the boy with all she had towards Black. Like a speeding missile, Goku tore right through the core of Black's mech.

"T-there's no way…!" Those were the last words Black muttered before the mech exploded, killing him instantly.

With him gone, the Red Ribbon Army was truly annihilated, meaning that Yor's home was truly safe from another war. She had managed to protect everything she held dear thanks to the help of Goku.

"Hey, Yor!" Goku cried as he rode over on the Nimbus. "Let's hurry and grab the Dragon Balls!"

"Yeah!" She hopped onto the Nimbus, riding along back towards the main building.

The young assassin wasn't sure if she would ever be able to repay Goku for everything he's done for her, but she'll do her best to support him in his future endeavors. Perhaps she could invite him over to her home after they've brought Upa's dad back to life?

Oh, she was certain that Yuri will love meeting Goku!

Flying close to the Red Ribbon base were Goku's friends. "I see it! The Red Ribbon Army base! Goku, mystery girl, just hang on! We're coming to save you!"

They were completely unaware that the battle was long over.

Chapter End

NOTE: And this chapter will conclude the Red Ribbon portion of this story! Of course, Yor confronting the Shopkeeper about all of this will happen soon. First, she has to help bring back Bora, which means tagging along for Baba's little tournament!

I do have some stuff planned before we get into the 22nd Tournament, some chapters of Yor bringing Goku back home to meet Yuri and maybe some other people. Can't wait to write Yuri and Goku's meeting, if he reacted badly to Yor's fake marriage, he ain't gonna like her bringing a boy home.

Yor will finally meet Goku's friends next chapter, so look forward to how she gets to know them!

Yor helping here could have some consequences when it comes to a certain pair of androids in the future, but I'm not going that far into DB. So, how that would all go is a giant question.

Have a great day!
