(In Wizengamot Trial hall one)
Silence filled the hall, the Wizards and Witches of the Wizengamot trying to process what they had just realized.
They were in a sealed, locked room. With Sirius Black…
Someone screamed.
And the room went mad!
Lords and Ladies of houses were screaming and shouting, demanding anything and everything they could imagine to shout. Most were screaming for help, some were shouting for him too be arrested and 'Kissed' immediately, A few were demanding quite loudly for the right to know what he was doing here, and Naruto swore up and down he heard someone demand for a shot of Firewhisky and a whore with how random things were today. Dammit, now he wanted Whisky. Could do without the loose woman though.
"Silence!" Rumbled out Dumbledore, his voice echoing throughout the chamber as he did. it took a short amount of time, but eventually, the members of the Wizengamot settled down and returned to their seats.
"I feel the need to ask what he's already doing in your custody, Lord Uzumaki, when before just now he had a kiss-on-sight order?" Questioned Lucius Malfoy, looking down his nose at the group on the court room floor.
"A kiss-on-sight order that was only issued by the British Ministry. If he had been captured anywhere else, it would have been for questioning and this would have been the same result. We're the ones who followed protocol, anyone who attempted to follow the kiss-on-sight order would have been in violation of multiple I.C.W. Laws, because of the fact you skipped the worldwide judicial process." Informed Zuko, turning his good eye too stare down the blond Lord.
"And your treatment of Pettigrew here? Does that not also violate I.C.W. Laws on the treatment of prisoners?" Sneered Thaddeus Nott, looking disgusted by the group in front of him, while also leering hard at the Schnee heiress. She was by far one of the most beautiful witches he'd ever seen. As he spoke, a messenger burst into the room, running to Naruto's side as he did.
"[Uzumaki-Sama, I… I bring terrible news.]" Came the muttered, harrowed voice of the messenger.
"[Say what you have to say. I will not harm a messenger.]" He replied, gesturing the man forward.
The man leaned in and whispered his message, getting a despaired look from Naruto, followed closely by a carefully crafted blank face. He stood back, nodded and dismissed the messenger, before squaring his shoulders and taking a deep breath. He turned back to face the assembled governing body, his blank eyes disturbed more than a few members.
"It would, if the Death eaters weren't just declared an international terrorist group." He told them, his ice cold voice shocking the majority of them with how big a change it was from his warm, but commanding tone.
"I believe your mistaken, they are officially marked as a criminal group. Why on earth would they be declared an international terrorist group?" Questioned Cornelius Fudge, the current British Minister of Magic. He was a short, squat man, wearing the plum robes of the Wizengamot, and a green bowler hat that was far too small on his head.
"How about the fact they just attacked my families palace? I think that would qualify as being a Terrorist group alongside their own multiple attacks on British soil." He replied, shocking everyone in the room at the audacity the death eaters had to attack even the Uzumaki family, quite possibly the oldest and most powerful magical family in the world. "And now that they've attacked a foreign country, they're no longer a mere internal problem, but now an international one, as declared by an emergence convening of the council of Merlin. They've been labeled with the same status as Grindelwald's followers as of two hours ago. Any members, past or present, regardless of innocence or complicity, are now too be taken in for questioning under I.C.W. Laws."
"And, for those of you who haven't learned yet, that means that any of you who were already cleared, you are under arrest for acts of terrorism and various other crimes. And in the I.C.W. courts, your status as lords is less than useless. Bring in the Aurors!" Ordered Naruto, the doors bursting open, a small army of I.C.W. and English Aurors marching in through the door. Many lords were shouting in protest, many of the members of the Pure Blood Block were placed in handcuffs, while a few in the Neutral Block were also placed under arrest.
"Winter, you're in charge while I'm away. I have to go home and figure out what happened, and… bury our dead." Ordered Naruto, his countenance growing darker and more solemn as he spoke. Winter gave him a small nod and a sad smile, knowing he was needed at home right now.
"I'll handle everything here boss, go take care of your home." She assured him, getting a thankful nod in return.
With that, Naruto stormed out of the court room, moving as fast as his feet could carry him towards the international portkey area. He had to get home, now.
Before any other members of his family were attacked.
(An hour later, Magical Japan, Uzumaki Castle)
It took him a while to travel home via the legal channels, but he would not misuse the power his position as leader of the first squadron gave him for personal matters. His father would have his hide if he did, even if it was for a family emergency.
As he arrived through his families gates, he saw the pillars of smoke rising from craters in the ground and burned buildings that housed his families servants and guards, along with a large blast into the side of his home.
The Uzumaki castle was a large, traditional Japanese castle. With a large courtyard in front of it, surrounded by both the homes of their servants and their warrior families, alongside it's many beautiful and well cared for Sakura trees, the Uzumaki clan home was often viewed as one of if not the most beautiful places in all of magical Japan.
He saw numerous white sheets laid out over unmoving shapes; family members bent over crying over the still warm bodies of their lost loved ones. It only enraged him all the more too see his people, people who served his family with zeal and loyalty, who he had known for years at least if not his whole life, to be so callously murdered by the pathetic wretches hands.
He would see them burn in hell for this!
He hurried his way to the palace, needing to make sure his family was safe. As he walked the people around him stirred and took note of his presence back on the home continent. It relived them to know that the strongest man in Japan, possibly the entire world, was back to protect them and avenge their loved ones.
He threw open the door to his family home, a resounding thud the result of his actions, drawing the attention, and wands, of all in the room before they identified the newcomer. As one they lowered their wands, and the sole woman among them rushed the red-haired wizard, her own red hair a perfect match for his own. As she jumped into his arms, his own came around her in a securing hug, pulling her tight to make sure she was okay.
"Mom, it's good to see you. Are you okay, your uninjured?" He questioned her, pulling back to visually inspect her himself. When he did, he noted that aside from some minor burns on her arms, and a few burnt pieces of clothing, she was majorly unharmed.
"I'm fine sweetheart, how are you home? Especially this quickly?" She asked him as she looked him over, loving the look of him in his Hit Wizard uniform. He looked so good! She would have her grandbabies before her fifty-fifth if he looked like this all the time!
"I went through the legal channels, but I may have used my position to speed up the process…" He trailed off, rubbing the back of his head as he did, a small sheepish grin on his face. When he lowered his hand, his head was swiftly smacked lightly, surprisingly not by his mother.
"And here I was thinking you knew better, evidently you need more lessons on responsibility with your position." Came the swift reprimand of his father, a small smile on his face. His father was a tall, blond man, more slender in frame then his son, but no less a dangerous combatant for it. After all, one doesn't become the best duelist in Japan, and jockeying for number one in the top three worldwide, by being lucky. In terms of pure skill, his father Minato was probably better then him. Naruto just had enough raw power to more then cover the gap between their skill levels.
"And who's going to teach me, you? We both know I'm stronger now, old man." Retorted Naruto, a small smile on his face as he did. When he finished, however, his shoulder was locked into an iron grip, the pressure on it telling him exactly who had him in a locked grip.
"And if it's the both of us, what are you going to do then, huh brat?" came the boisterous voice from behind him, the hand on his shoulder turning into an arm around his shoulder. When Naruto turned to face the man behind him, he was greeted with a big smile, face paint and a bristling head of stiff white hair.
"Gee, I don't know? Throw a pretty woman at you, preferably blond and with a big rack, and then sic a certain Uzumaki red head on dad seems like a pretty good idea to me, what do you think, Pervy Sage?" Retorted Naruto, getting a loud and proud laugh from his fathers mentor in combat, and magical Japan's head of both intelligence and counter-intelligence operations.
Jiraiya was a tall man, taller then even the current Heir to the throne, who towered over even his own father and absolutely dwarfed his mother. He was also absolutely massive, his chest wide and thick, arms bulging with muscles even at the age of fifty-six, he cut quite an imposing image even at his age and with his regular attitude. He was wearing his regular get-up today, not one of his fathers and his own training gear sets.
"That would probably work too! I'd certainly work on me!" he cheered, getting a laugh from his student and pseudo-grandson, and an array of angry shouts and curses from the current Empress of magical Japan, to which he once again laughed.
"Tsunade will be hearing about that, you old bastard! To think she actually gave you a chance and agreed to marry you, and then you behave like this!" shouted Kushina, half in mock anger, the other half exasperation. She didn't want her older half-sister hurt after all! All the while Jiraiya laughed harder and harder.
"And when you do, she'll track me down, beat the hell out of me, drag me to some dark corner of the hospital, and heal me before reminding me why exactly I only love her, little lady Uzumaki. Win-Win-Win for me!" he cheered, getting a disturbed shiver from Naruto's mother, before she turned an actual glare onto her, technically, brother-in-law.
"Now, now, Shina-chan. You brought her up, and now you pay the price for your involving your sister. Your mistake, his benefit. You can't be mad for him using your own trick against you." Came the soft voice from the far wall that lead further into the Castle. The door was open, revealing the current matriarch of the family, the previous Empress of magical Japan, Kushina's own mother, and Naruto's grandmother, Mito Uzumaki.
"I can be mad at him for being a pervert who's corrupting my babies though!" She shouted, glaring death at Jiraiya for his actions and perverted nature. He was responsible for her baby boys interest in girls, she just knew it! He was nice and innocent before he started hanging out with his father and her brother-in-law in his third year, after that, it seemed he had a new girlfriend every couple months!
"Shina-chan, you know in order for you to get grandbabies, he'll need to be interested in girls right? And I wouldn't be so quick to blame him for your brood's perverted nature, I've seen your book collection." Whispered her mother, getting Kushina to stand up ramrod straight, in fear of her old prankster of a mother revealing her *Private* book collection, which to her shame, had her husband's teacher's lecherous series of novels. In her own defense, the old pervert actually knew how too write a compelling romance novel, with actual characters and plotlines to the books, along with excellent, top quality smut! She just didn't want her children to know of her own perverted nature, and for Jiraiya to have the knowledge that she actually liked his works.
He'd never let her live it down!
Smiling, Mito moved away from her little girl, convinced she had sufficiently cowed her into stopping with her foolishness for now. Honestly, she loved her with all of her heart, but Kushina often took an idea and ran with it far too often. She needed to relax. Moving to her first of her two grandbabies, she spread her arms open to take him into a hug, one which he gladly returned.
"Welcome home, little soldier boy. I've missed you so much." She told him, speaking the words softly into his ears. She truly did miss her first grandbaby; he was just so precious to her. She practically raised him, after all, with a mother ruling a nation and a father competing on a worldwide scale for the title of number one duelist, even when they both took time out of their schedules to spend time with him, it left a lot of time where he wouldn't have a guiding hand.
She had made the choice to step in and be the soft hand of guidance and nurturing, while she had roped her guard into helping her and stepping in to provide the stern hand of discipline and respect. Between the two of them, he had turned out into a fine young man, if she did say so herself!
By the gods, she was the one who he first told his desire to become a soldier when he was merely five years old. He wanted so badly to become 'a warrior like the guards' that even then, both she and her guard had taken him seriously. She started calling him 'her little soldier boy' from then on and he had begun his training under the captain of their guards, mostly for flexibility and running speed and distance with him being so young. It wasn't till he was thirteen that his real training began, and even then he had proven his mettle and determination a dozen times over by that point.
She was an older woman, looking to be in her seventies by no-maj standards. She walked with an aura of divine grace and authority, her own natural bearing as empress not having diminished despite her having stepped down from her throne. Part of that might have been the beautifully decorated traditional kimono she wore; the other part could have been the man behind her even now.
When her husband had passed some thirty years ago, she was assigned a guard from the guardian family of the royal line. The family in question were the Uchiha family, a clan who had been in the service of the royal family for over four thousand years. They were chosen to be the guardians of the Uzumaki family from a pool of over thirty other contestants, each a viable choice in their own right. Some of the strongest magical beings in the history of magical Japan were of the Uchiha lineage, including the one who currently guarded Mito.
The only other master sorcerer in Japan's history, he was a tall, imposing man. Even older then Jiraiya, he still maintained an aura of supreme dominance and power over everything around him, his violent red eyes spinning around rapidly as he observed the room for any abnormal magics that may be a threat to the Uzumaki family. As he finished, his eyes faded back to a hard but less intimidating coal black. He wore a black and purple kimono, an Uchiha fan symbol displayed proudly across his back, his particularly fine quality kimono showing his authority over his clan as its patriarch. In his right hand was a large staff, the only other user of one in the known world aside from Naruto. It was an elder wood staff, with Yew wood circling the exterior in a spiral pattern, forming a flame motif on the top. When his eyes landed on Naruto, he gave a small, pleased smirk to the scion of his masters.
"Pupil, it has been years." He spoke, his voice deep and scratchy with age, but with an undertone of true power and wisdom, the voice of a man who truly understood the way the world functioned on a primal and intrinsic level. He smiled though at the sight of his only student and raised his staff in greeting. As he did, Naruto walked up to him, a smile on his own face as he unsealed and raised his own staff, clacking it against the raised staff of his elder when he did.
"Madara-Sensei, it's good to see you sir. How have thing been here since I left?" He asked, getting a quirked lip and shrug of his shoulders in response.
"Dreadfully dull, up until today. Then there was a brief moment of excitement, unfortunately it wasn't bound to last. Still, it was nice to stretch my old muscles for a while, for how long it lasted. Such disappointing dance partners." He finished, muttering under his breath by the end, thoroughly dissatisfied by the lack of skill or danger the supposed 'dark lords' followers possessed. But then, he was a bit spoiled, what with having Hashirama, Mito, Naruto, even his grandson Sasuke to clash and dance with for years left him with rather demanding standards for opponents to meet. Not their fault they couldn't keep up with warriors like themselves.
"Speaking of dreadfully dull, where is the brooding Uchiha? Shouldn't he be here, doing his job?" Asked Naruto, looking around for his best friend. He was learning from his grandfather how to become the new head of the guard and eventual clan head, he should be here, and he wasn't even here too welcome him home! Ungrateful prick!
"He is doing his job; he's guarding your sister. If anyone can keep her safe, it's him. especially with his own motivation…" informed his mother, before trailing off at the end. She saw her oldest glance at her, before something clicked, and he gnashed his teeth and his eyes began glowing an ominous Sapphire blue, motes of magic floating off them into the open air.
"Excuse me, sensei, but your about to need a new heir. I have a bastard to murder, bury and make disappear. Not necessarily in that order, but definitely with that list of actions." Ground out Naruto, before moving past his teacher and further into the castle halls. As he did, two different sets of chains wrapped around him, one set gold, the other set silver.
"Not happening dattebane! Your not messing with either of them!" Cried Kushina, straining her own silver chains to hold her son back. She wanted Grandbabies Dammit! As she finished, her mother followed up.
"She's right Naruto, there no need to ruin your sister or her intended's moment together." She said, her own voice strained from holding back her grandson from killing his best friend, only for all movement to stop from her grandson, confusing her.
"…Did you just say intended?..." Came the mutter from her first grandchild, confusing her further. When she turned to look at her daughter and son-in-law, all became clear to her.
"You didn't tell him, did you?" came the exasperated question, getting a shaken head from her pale son-in-law and her incredibly nervous daughter. Sighing, she retracted her chains, letting him go. She couldn't stop what was coming if she tried. While he wouldn't hurt them, there were somethings even she couldn't keep him from doing, in spite of Naruto's near worship for his family bonds and of her in particular.
"Go and give your words to him, my little soldier boy. Just try not to kill him, for your sisters sake if no one else's. She genuinely likes the boy." She allowed, getting a shocked look from her daughter, before Naruto blew Kushina's chains off him and vanished, scaring his parents all the more. They quickly took off after him, Mito following behind shortly.
"You aren't concerned?" asked Jiraiya, raising an eyebrow in Madara's direction, getting a raised one back in turn.
"My heir knew what he was getting into when he asked for permission to court her. If he's not ready for what's coming, then it will serve as a fine lesson about the consequence of his actions." Replied Madara, getting a nod from Jiraiya. They both moved to follow after them, no need to miss out on the juicy family drama after all.
AND SCENE! That's it for now, after all, we just learned of a whole slew of new characters and more LORE! I need time to make the world make sense, so bear with me, were going to be in Japan for a while before we go back to England.
Anyway, in other news imma shamelessly plug myself now. I have a page on P-on page and if you feel like getting one-week early access, that is up for you to decide. I am still going to post here; it will just be a week early on that page. That's it for that, but I also stream on twitch occasionally for fun! My name there is Hadradajust, if you got a twitch account and feel like supporting me, drop a follow and hop into stream every now and then to chill. I mostly play single player survival games and story driven games, due to mediocre internet right now, but I hope to play some multiplayer survival soon if I can get a better I.S.P. thanks for your time!
So, if you liked the story, leave a comment! It always helps me to read some positive reviews and constructive criticisms are always helpful. Any flamers will be used to cook well-done steaks for the hunters of Bherna village, the Soaratorium, Astera, Seliana, Kamura village and Elgado outpost. Keep your stamina up folks!
