Ten minutes later, Annora bid Snape farewell walked back upstairs above the ground. She quickly caught up with her friends who happily waved back at her.

"How'd it go?" asked Annora.

"You will not believe what happened!" laughed Devany.

Gryphon rolled his eyes, trying to hide the amused smile. "Firstly, Longbottom fell off his broom, broke his wrist, so Madam Hooch had to take him to the hospital wing. Then Draco," here he pointed accusingly at the blonde boy who was walking on the other side of Annora, "found Longbottom's Remembrall, picked it up and made a very unfunny joke. Then he and Potter started beefing and the idiot started flying high up the sky. Potter followed him, Draco threw the Remembrall away, Potter caught it and then McGonagall took him away." He said all of this in one breath.

"Sometimes I wonder why you weren't placed in Hufflepuff, Gryph, because that's hilarious!" Annora laughed.

At this, Gryphon slapped Annora lightly across the head. "No, it's not! Draco could have been expelled. And never compare me to a Hufflepuff again!" he said red-faced.

The other three laughed at him at that. "What happened to Potter after that?" Annora asked.

"McGonagall made him Seeker," Draco spat, jealousy clear in his voice.

"But that's not even possible, right? First years never make it in the team," Annora said, brows furrowed.

"He's the first to do it in centuries," Draco muttered back.

They finally reached the Charms classroom and quickly sat down in the only available spots left. Annora and Gryphon sat between Harry and Hermione and Draco and Devany two rows behind them.

"I hope it's okay we sit here," said Annora, offering Harry a soft smile. "These are the only available spots left."

"No worries," said Harry, returning the smile.

Annora turned her head to see Gryphon, surprisingly enough, chatting comfortably with Hermione about boring books and knowledge. Annora could also see a red-headed Ron Weasley, trying his best to ignore the two Slytherins talking with his house mates. Annora had to held back a snort at the sight.

"Excuse me, first years," came a hoarse voice. Everyone turned their heads to see Professor Flitwick standing on a pile of books, trying to get their attention. "Today, we will be performing the Leviosa charm on the feathers you see in front of you. Now, I hope you all remember the wand-movement we've been practicing. The swish- and flick! Come on, try it out," Flitwick encouraged them.

"Swish- and flick!" the class repeated, trying out the wand movement."

"Good! Good! Oh, and enunciate. Wingardium Leviosa! Off you go, then," said Flitwick.

"Wingardium Leviosa! Wingardium Leviosa!" sounded the classroom.

Annora rolled her eyes at them all as everyone seemed to struggle with it, except some of the Slytherins. She then looked at Harry who was also failing miserably.

"Excuse me," Annora said kindly. "You need better grip on your wand. You're holding it very loosely, making it shaky and clumsy. If you keep that up you will never be able to perform a single spell."

Harry frowned. "How do you know that?"

"It's been said so in your Charms book, dummy. May I help you?" Annora asked. At Harry's nod, she stood up to stand behind him. Tucking her hair behind her ears, she grabs for Harry's right arm and adjusts his hold. "Keep it steady like that. Do not hold it too firmly, but not too loosely. Now, try again."

Harry took a deep breath as Annora stepped away from him and tried again. "Wingardium Leviosa!" he said, a little more confidently than first. And just like that, his feather started floating.

Annora smiled and clapped. "Good job!"

Harry smiled back at her and dropped the feather again on his desk. "Thank you," he said.

Annora nodded in return and did not notice the youngest Weasley boy glaring daggers at her back.

Annora and the rest of Slytherin were peacefully eating their dinner at the Great Hall, when two particular Gryffindors came walking towards them, one looking mildly confused and the other smirking. "I smell trouble," muttered Devany.

Annora cleared her throat. "Anything we can do for you, boys?"

Ron looked at her. "You seemed pretty professional back at Charms, Annora. Care to explain how?"

Annora raised her eyebrows. "I do not have to explain myself to you, Weasley. Maybe I'm just a natural?" the last part she said teasingly, smirking as Ron turned a dark shade of red.

"Well, if you're such a natural, I dare you for a duel. At midnight," Ron said angrily.

"Thanks, but no thanks," said Annora quickly. "Go bother someone else and leave us alo –"

"Is daddy going to be angry if you do it?" Ron teased.

Everyone went silent. Gryphon had to hold Devany down to stop her from doing anything stupid. Draco was glaring daggers at Ron, who only had attention for Annora.

"Don't talk about my father," Annora warned.

"Or what?" Ron challenged.

"Ron, stop it," Harry muttered anxiously. Apparently Ron did not realize that every Slytherin was looking at them with murderous eyes.

Ron ignored him, however. "How does it feel to be his daughter? Are screams of torture and pain part of your daily routine, or is he human enough not to hurt his own daughter? It wouldn't surprise me if he did. It wouldn't even surprise me If –"

CRACK! Ron quickly took back a couple steps and held his hand to his nose, which was bleeding an abnormally amount.

Annora was standing, now, panting and staring furiously back at Ron as he tried to stop the bleeding. She was angry. Far more than angry, actually. No one had ever dared to talk crap about her father. And here stood Weasley, a pathetic boy from a pathetic family, insulting her father without thinking of the consequences of making Annora angry.

She heard quick footsteps behind her, but she didn't care. She only had eyes on Weasley and how she wanted to hurt him more until he was on the ground begging for mercy. She felt a soft pull on her arm and heard Draco whisper, "You're in big trouble, An."

Only then did she turn around to see a furious-looking Professor McGonagall jogging towards them with Snape not far behind.

"Someone better start explaining what is going on here, or I will get the information myself," McGonagall threatened. No one had ever seen their Transfiguration teacher so angry as she was now.

Draco was the first to talk. "Professor, Weasley and Potter came up to us while we were peacefully eating our dinner. Then Ron started talking crap about… someone, which got Annora angry and she… uhm… well, she punched him," he explained, trying to leave some of the details away.

Professor McGonagall looked at Draco, then Ron and then back at Annora. "Miss Riddle, it is strictly forbidden to physically or magically harm a Hogwarts student. If Mr. Weasley was being bothersome, you should have come to a teacher. I request for you to follow me to the Headmaster's Office to decide your punishment." She then looked at Ron. "Mr. Weasley, you should go to the Hospital Wing."

And with that, she took off, motioning Annora to follow her. With one anxious look at Snape, who shook his head in response, she took off and followed McGonagall up towards the Headmaster's Office.

As Ron was about to turn away, too, smirking slightly at the sight of Annora being taken away, Draci grabbed his sleeve. "I accept your duel. Midnight at the trophy room. Gryphon is my second, who's yours?"

Ron and Harry looked doubtfully at each other, before nodding. "Harry is my second," he finally said.

The doors to the Headmaster's Office opened. Dumbledore was sat behind his desk, smiling brightly as they walked into the room.

"Minerva, Severus, Annora… Please sit down," he said. His smile was warm but the twinkly that normally resided in his eyes wasn't there.

The three of them did as they were told. Annora said on the edge of her chair, feeling quite nervous as she looked around for Snape's comfort. It wasn't there.

"Minerva," Dumbledore began. "Why don't you explain to us what you saw?"

Annora did not have the attention to listen to McGonagall. She was staring at her shoes, angry about the unfairness of it all. She was fidgeting with the necklace she got from her father, trying to feel his comfort through it. Why shouldn't she explain what had happened? McGonagall wasn't even there for 50 percent of the story.

She was brought out of her thoughts, as Dumbledore cleared his throat. "Miss Riddle, why exactly did you punch Mr. Weasley?"

Annora glared at him. "He insulted my father!" she said loudly. She was breathing heavily right now, air tense. If this carried on for a moment longer, her accidental magic might snap.

"Miss Riddle, I suggest you calm down before your magic gets a hold on you," Snape warned.

This got Annora out of her trance. She focused on her breathing and slowly calmed down. Her glare, however, remained.

"I understand why you're angry, Miss Riddle. It was not an okay thing for Mr. Weasley to do, and I assure you, he will be dealt with. You will serve detention with Professor Snape. For how long and how severe is up to him. But believe me when I say, will you repeat your actions of today another time, I will not be so kind," Dumbledore said, looking at her, waiting for any kind of reaction.

The only thing he got, however, was a quick nod of understanding.

"Was that all, Headmaster?" asked Snape after a moment of silence.

"I believe so, yes," Dumbledore answered, clapping his hands.

Snape nodded and stood up, motioning for Annora to do the same. "You will follow me to my office this instance," he said strictly.

"Yes, Professor," Annora said quietly, and without looking back at the other two, she followed Snape out of the office.

They reached his office faster than Annora hoped. Snape was angry, she could sense it in the air. The older man opened the door with magic and quickly walked inside, Annora fast behind. He motioned for her to sit down as he slammed the door closed.

"What in the Devil's name were you thinking, Annora?"

Annora looked down at her knees, not daring to look Snape in the eyes. "I'm sorry, okay? I got angry and I reacted without thinking. It was a stupid thing for me to do, I get that."

Snape took a deep breath. "This could have ended up way differently, you understand that? With your name and the Dark Lord's reputation, Dumbledore could have expelled you."

At this, Annora looked up. "I said sorry, didn't I? Why are you so angry at me? Weasley insulted your master! You should be angry at him, not me for punishing him," she said through gritted teeth.

"You're really a child of your father, Annora," Snape sighed. "I believe I was just worried. The Dark Lord has ordered me to protect you. If something happens to you, he will have my head."

Annora smirked. "Well then I suppose you should protect me better, if I almost got expelled on my first week at Hogwarts," she teased.
