Director Emily Piggot looked over the notes for her upcoming meetings. All the Wards were all going to be here today and would be sent in to speak with her after five, Aegis and Gallant would be the first she would speak with, then they would be sent out on patrol. Vista would be teaching Druid the Console while she spoke with Shadow Stalker then Stalker would be sent to take over to finish out her punishment for something she did before Emily took over. She'd have a spot of dinner with Druid before speaking with Clockblocker and finally Vista.

It had only been two days, but the investigation into Rachael Lindt was going well, they had already uncovered at lest three clear signs of corruption in her charges, though they were stalling out a little on the CPS and Police investigations into the caretakers actual death as all the documents seemed to have been misplaced regarding the girl in anything other than the arrest warrant given at an absentee trial that was held.

Interestingly there was lead on what had happened as well as the court documents from the Animal Control services in the area, as they evidently didn't get the memo to lose all the information like the other departments had.

Several of her agents were looking to find a tutor for the girl and a trainer who understood her issues and could work with her. She needed to be at a certain level of education and comfort with other people before she would allow her to start working with the PRT K-9 unit.

PR was already talking about her toy line, one that involved plastic monsters that you could open to reveal cute little dog miniatures inside. They were going to start selling them as blind boxes as soon as the name Hellhound was forgotten, and Rachel would stop referring to herself as Bitch. They had already decided on her new marketable name.

Baskerville.

Emily wasn't sure she liked the girl being associated with a hound trained to murder people while disguised as a ghost, but the testing group had all connected it more with Sherlock Holmes rather than the murderer.

Emily was almost impressed how fast the PR department moved, she had only had the 'talk' with Rachael two days ago.

The other thing of note was one Emily Clark, or as the PR department had already brought up as a name 'Spitfire'.

Currently the disheveled looking girl was sitting in front of her desk with her appointed Guardian, the PRT liaison with the local Social Services, Berrall Jones, who was also her caseworker now, and the PRT lawyer who had the most experience with dealing with under aged issues, Greg Abbot.

The two of them were talking over the girls head about what to do with the girl and the legalese of everything. Emily simply sat there listening into them and watching the girl get more and more nervous as things went on. This had to stop before the girl panicked like it looked she was going to .

"Both of you shut up a moment." Director Piggot snapped as she focused her attention fully on the other Emily. "Miss Clark has any one asked you what YOU want to do yet?"

"Director we have already.."

"Zip it." Director Piggot snapped at the liaison before her attention turned back to the girl.

"I don't know." Emily muttered.

"You are being presented an opportunity here Miss Clark. But you are not being held, detained or forced to do anything you do not want to do." Director Piggot offered. "Right now at your request we are withholding information on your whereabouts from your parents, you are only fifteen however and we cannot do this forever."

"Youth Guard will get involved the moment they hear anything." Berrall offered." Right now they are focused on Lindt and have missed Miss Clark in the shuffle of paperwork."

"And what do you think their reaction will be?" Director Piggot asked.

"Same as with a number of other similar cases. They want the child to be with the parents, regardless of what the child wants because they think anyone underage is too young to make their own decisions. While they are sometimes right, they are often very, and tragically, wrong." the woman concluded.

"Everything else we can string along for years." Abbot offered. " But given how the Youth Guard has lobbied they have more say over what any child with powers can do than even the CPS..."

"I don't want to go back there..." she offered in a low voice.

"Do we have an abuse claim?" Director Piggot asked.

"We have a possible Trigger event claim." the liaison offered making Piggot suck in a sharp breath between her teeth.

"Explain."

"Miss Clark here refuses to go into any detail, but with what she has told us she left soon after she triggered and her refusal to go back leads to some assumptions." Jones offered the woman looking to the young girl as she partial shrunk in on herself.

"Well unless Miss Clark here is willing to talk, no one is going to ask her anything. Miss Clark i would suggest very much that you avail yourself of a therapist when you are able, no matter what you choose to do. I am however quite glad you are willing to let us help you as best we can. "Director Piggot picked up a folder. "The medical testing from our staff and Druid have shown a few things of note, but nothing that could be considered incriminating to any one."

"Druid's testimony wouldn't be accepted for the hairline fractures, and any remotely decent lawyer could suggest those were caused during her months away from home even if some one did accept it." Abbot sighed.

"Alright. Well Emily. until you decide what you want to do we can only stall and continue with our own goals. I have you scheduled for power testing on Sunday, while you are free to leave at any time I would like you to remain in the building or at least only go out with an escort. If you would like Saturday I can arraign someone to go with you to purchase clothing or anything else you want. The reward we gave you for taking care of the dogs isn't much, but it should be enough for a few personal items, and we can pull from procurement for anything necessary like clothing . Is that alright?" Director Piggot asked.

The girl nodded lightly and Piggot sat back in her chair as the others started the discussion again. She would see if she could get Dennis and perhaps Amy to be the girls escort with a few agents hanging back and letting the three do their own thing. Amy would be sympathetic and Dennis would play the fool and keep her distracted. Hopefully they could get the girl to open up a bit more and solve this before outside pressure kicked in. She also needed to speak with Dragon at some point. The only pyro kinetic she could think of that might be able to show the girl the ropes properly was Charbroil, a member of the Guild.

And hopefully the girl would allow them to help, if she decided to run again there was no telling what might happen to her.
