The date that Amelia, the kunoichi he finally gets to know her name, had said, was... fun. really fun, like one of the best nights he's had ever since that time where he goes and made April smile with one of his inventions. Donatello can't believe he's had this much fun with her, but it's not so bad...
The night goes by peacefully, the chilly evening breeze that brushed both figures cooled their skin especially the cold-blooded mutant turtle. Amelia's long brown locks began dancing with the calm wind, elegantly moving as the wind continues to blow. Donnie has to admit, with the girl trying to get her chocolate hair down and with the help of the lighting of the moon, it made the scene of the young woman looked ethereal. Her cerulean blue shined majesticly, almost glowing in the luminous light of the moon. Donnie really can not help but stare into her eyes.
April has the same eye color as well... but it never seemed to have the same shine nor crystal look on her. He really wonders just how can someone posess such gorgeous eyes. That thought made him shake his head, no! He can't be thinking like that! Sure, her eyes were absolutely lovely but April's is just as pretty! No one can match up to her.
Not even the beautiful young brunette who is sitting beside him.
Seriously... What has gotten into him today?! It's not like he was just rejected the other day by April and now, a new girl appeared abled to take his heart so quickly. It almost felt like this was some cliche love story or something, but Donatello sighed, as if. But still, why is he still blushing around with this kunoichi when his heart still pins over April's? He doesn't even have a clue why! All he wanted was April to like him...
It wasn't too much to ask... or is it him being to greedy and taking April's kindness for granted, is that it?
Another sigh left the turtle's lips which made the girl with mocha-colored locks look at him, "Is there something in your mind, Donatello?" She asks, one sigh she can ignore. Two sighs is where she ask if this companion of hers has a problem with something or someone.
"Huh? uh... no, it's nothing really."
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah.."
"Hm, something tells me that you're not. Is it because the other day, with the rejection and all?"
The bo staff wielding mutant groans, right, this girl watched him get rejected by his crush. A tired sigh escaped the purple masked ninja, "It's none of your business, okay? and so what if it was that? Just let me be." He grumbled, it was tiring enough that April's rejection hit him like a ton of bricks, Amelia asking him just doubled that with a bunch of rocks. Why must be the pretty girls be his source of weakness? "Uh huh, and as someone who might be your new friend in the sooner future, at least vent your frustrations to me. To at least get that off of your back for now."
"Tempting. But no thanks." The young mutant declined politely. Bad enough that he was blushing by her concern for him, no need to add more fuel to that. But, unfortunately for Donnie, it was not his day.
"I see. Then maybe let your frustrations out in me instead, would that be preferable~?" Amelia's eyes inquired suggestively with her eyes looking down at his face to his legs for great measure.
Donatello closed his legs and glared at the brunette girl, "NO! ABSOLUTELY NOT! WHAT THE HELL?!" He shouted at the black clad beauty who laughed, "Hahaha! You really are too easy to fluster, Donatello. Maybe, I can teach a few things to tolerate my charms. Easy, right?" The young woman suggested which was quickly shutted down by the genius terrapin. "As if! I do not need any of these tolerations, because I am perfectly FINE." The copper-eyed terrapin insisted. As if he needs those(he does), he is absolutely perfect with her flirts and charms(he's not), he does not NEED those at all( he actually does).
"Whatever you say, genius boy. Anyway, what are your hobbies?" Amelia inquired with a smile, still covered with her lower mask.
"Huh? why're you asking?" The purple banded turtle questions.
"Ah, well, although we have hang out for a while. I think it's best we learn about each other, yes? a good way to get to know me."
"I guess so. My hobbies, well... Inventing techs, creating new things, and uh, does computers count?"
"Computers are more like your interests than your hobbies, Donatello. But continue if you wish." The brown-haired female politely insisted for him to keep talking which the ninja does so, Donatello tells her his interests, his brothers, and how he met April. Wow, Donnie didn't know when was he so comfortable when talking to someone, especially to a stranger. Well technically she was no stranger to him anymore and more like acquaintances, yet he felt free while talking to her.
It almost felt like he can tell her anything, the way she listens to him, her opinions about his interests and not judging him about it for one bit, and the little comments she makes when he tells her about him bickering with one of his brothers whenever they barged in his lab without permission. He can tell she was amused by Mikey's antics considering how she would sometimes laugh whenever the topic of him pranking him and the others come passing by. "Your brother is quite a prankster, isn't he? Is it tiring?" She giggled when he groans, what else could his answer be?
"Well, duh, of course it's going to be tiring. Especially when he keeps drawing over my blueprints! and the drawing consists mostly of butt heads or something similar to that!"
"Pffft. I'm sorry, butt heads?"
"You heard me right. Butt heads."
"Oh my gosh--" A laugh escaped from the young woman's throat as she held her stomach, an image of a literal butt head appearing in her head as she tries calming her laughter down, but failed miserably. Donnie stared at her with a brow raised, "Do not tell you actually imagined it." Her eyes held the answer for him, the intelligent terrapin slapped a hand on his mouth as he gazed at her with a suprised expression.
"You didn't--"
"I just did.! Oh my, hahaha.!! I apologize but, goodness--" Amelia could not help but let herself burst. Cackling as she felt the turtle gaze at her with an annoyed look on his olive-toned face.
"Quit laughing." He told her with a glare.
"I'm afraid, I can't, Donatello." She giggled as she wiped a tear from her eye, "But do be serious, butt heads? really?"
The auburn-eyed turtle groans for the nth time, "Yes, really! And it's not funny! those were important blueprints!" He can not believe she was finding this hilarious and no, he was not jealous of Mikey for making this beaut of a kunoichi laugh more than he does. Nope, definetely not jealous.
"Oh, alright, alright. I'm sorry for finding that prank of that brother of yours extremely funny, but I couldn't help myself!" The girl then hummed curiously, "Huh? is my sense of humour getting childish?"
"Yes, it defientely is." The purple ninja remarked sarcasticly at her with a small grin. The chocolate-haired girl chuckles at him while sending a playful grin at him, "Oh hush it."
The atmosphere between was serene, it almost felt like Donnie can stay like this forever. His eyes traveled to the brown-haired shinobi, who was busy staring at the lovely full moon, shining nicely at the dark starry night sky as clouds hovered beside the moon. "A fine sight, yes? truly perfect..." She said, gazing at the full phase planetoid with a covered smile under her mask. The ninja turtle can just stare at her with his eyes directed at her even lovelier blue eyes, a smile came its way towards the terrapin's mouth.
Burnished eyes softened at her, as he sighs with a smile, gazing back at the full moon.
"Yeah... it sure is."
He hopes his brothers are asleep by the time he gets home.
The hope he has earlier came true. All of his brothers were all sound asleep which was a total relief for him, breathing out a relaxed sigh, Donnie made his way to his room where his laptop awaits him. He dramaticly dropped himself on his chair, slughtly cringing at the loud squeak his chair made in protest.
Donnie knows he shouldn't be doing this. He and Amelia made a promise to hang out every night, so, that's why he shouldn't be doing this. His mind tells him harshly, but goodness lord, how his heart didn't listen as his body moved on its own and pressed on the keyboard, gosh, he was feeling so guilty right now but he couldn't stop it. And before he knows it, he was searching for Amelia's account on any social media he can find.
To facebook, instagram, snapchat, reddit, twitter, anything really. Same goes to her home address, and any family members he can possibly find.
But there was nothing. It came with different social accounts, maybe it was for the fact she didn't give him out her last name. That was true, but, he thought it could be easy. It always was, coming from the experience of you know... Observing April's socials and all that. But anyway, frustration was crawling on the mutant turtle's skin as he scrolls over the thousands of accounts with the name 'Amelia'. This was really getting on his nerves, at this point, he can never find Amelia!
Hold on...
This rushing urge of trying to find a girl's social because of his wish to be friends, was awfully similar how he was with April. It was all like April's situation yet it wasn't. She seemed to be a skilled ninja how she was able to sneak behind him without him realizing it compared to how April is still an amatuer. The kunoichi he wished to be friends for is mysterious, an enigma per say.
If...
If Amelia finds out about he was trying to stalk over her account, which she probably don't have, will she... act like how April did? will she look at him differently? will she yell at him? will she hate him?
Donnie doesn't even wanna go there. He doesn't even know why he was feeling like this, the guilt from trying to look over he account he can get, but the thought of their friendshio breaking? He knew they weren't official friends yet, he said that himself! So why is he feeling like this?
The purple masked terrapin groans, "Not this again..." There goes his problem with friends again, curse his lack of social skills! Another groan rumbled out of his throat as he leaned his back while spinning his chair, thoughts of Amelia disliking him continued to swirl aroumd his head. He can't believe he is saying this but, he was hooked to her company quick. She wasn't lying when her charms were magnificent, but to this point? Wow, he really can not believe it.
Donatello grunted, an image of April brutally rejecting him is still fresh in his mind and heart. He... he can't risk it with his new buddy now, besides, can he really look at April that easy? of course not.
That's why he needed Amelia. Besides him really liking her company, it was also because she was a female and maybe if he talks to her more, he can also talk to April with more ease. Yeah, yeah that sounds fantastic!
Beaming, the copper-eyed ninja praised himself, good work Donatello. Good work...
With this, then he won't be needing to... ahem, stalk Amelia's account or number, not like he can anyway. Donnie's eyes wander over at his room, until a certain thing caught his eye. A coffee-colored book, almost the same color as Amelia's hair, and now his mind pictured her smiling at him brightly causing his face to burst in a crimson color.
Oh no. No, no, no, no, no-- This can't be happening! This just... it just can't be! He was gaining a crush again, with a girl who tried to kill him yesterday. God must be joking with him 'cause there is no way he is falling for another girl that easily! His heart knows what it wants, it wanted April that he knows very well. But it wanting another woman right after April rejecting him?
It's either he is a complete hopeless romantic or a freak. Could be both for all he knows of, but he is not in for a ride of harboring feelings for Amelia. Not in god's name, ever.
She is just a friend, he will grow to like. Maybe this crush is small and quick, it's not like he is going to be that attached to her, right?
Right?
A young woman clad in black walked through the empty halls of a traditional eastern-styled mansion, as the girl walked, a young man with a long red kimono followed foot. "And where have you been, my lady?"
"That is none of your concern, Daijiro. My outings are normal, you should know that." The young woman huffed, as her heels tapped on the wooden floor, echoeing loudly through the wide halls. The boy scoffed at him, pointing a finger at her, "It is my concern. Your ma is worrying about you, ya know?"
Her steps came into an abrupt stop, she slowly turned her head at the kimono-wearing male who has his arms crossed against his chest. "Mother? is she now?"
"Yeah. and she's in the right hall--"
A speedy blur came passing by him, as the woman jogged her way to the room and slamming the shoji open with a loud click. There a woman of a dark green kimono with a yellow obi sat, a cigarette pipe on hand as the woman stare outside of her porch. Long black hair tied in a stylish bun with several hair pins of flowers on her head. The brunette smiled as she bows her head at the sight of her mother, "Good evening, mother. I hope I am not bothering your serenity." She greeted the woman in green who in response exhaled the long smoke of her cigar.
"Good evening. Come sit."
"Very well, mother."
As she sat down, the ravenette then slammed her cigarette pipe on the rails of her balcony which almost made the younger woman jump in suprise. Electric blue eyes came staring down at the kunoichi, cold and icy as it gazed down at her daughter's figure.
"So," She paused taking a whiff of her cigar before continuing, "where have you been, my daughter?"
The chocolate-haired girl lowered her mask down, a smile making its way through her beautiful face. "Out, mother. I was merely outside for entertainment until I found him, the one part of that distinguish clan, mother." She uttered, smile widening as her mother looked at her in suprise. It can't be...
"You meant to tell me... you found them?"
"More accurately, found someone part of them, but yes. I also got to know where they could be hiding in for all these years."
A smirk crept onto the older woman's lips as she chuckles, "is that so? then, well done. As expected from my daughter." The pale woman proudly praised her daughter, truly, she is worthy of her name. The raven-haired lady continued to smirk as she stare at the black clad brunette as she took an inhale of the pipe, "You know what to do then, correct?" The black-haired woman inquired.
"Of course."
The gleam on the brown-haired kunoichi's icy blue eyes with a cunning glow, her smile evolving into a wide smirk.
"They won't know what could hurt them, after all."
