Aftermath

Interviewee: Susie

1: How would you describe your experience?

Well… I don't want to sugarcoat it. Most of the time I spent trapped in this place…in this…body… It was a nightmare. Especially at first. I was so confused and scared. I couldn't remember almost anything about me, other than…what happened that day. I just wanted it all to end.

That said…even with all that…there was a silver lining. At least, I think so. I wasn't alone. It's something.

2: Who do you consider to be your best friend among your group? (Do not worry, they won't know your answer.)

All of them are dear to me. I think it's silly to play favorites, especially in a place like this.

3: What was your main pastime?

Whenever I had the time, I would go to the kitchen and eat some of the leftover pizza. Sometimes, I'd even try to bake some of my own, but it, uh…never went well. I think being Chica for so long had messed with my way of thinking a bit, hehehe~ She always likes to eat.

Even so, I could never taste anything I ate. For obvious reasons. Still, I tried to. I wanted to taste something delicious again… I never managed. Sometimes, my imagination would fool me into thinking otherwise, but…that's about it.

4: Was there anything you did or did not do as an animatronic that you now regret?

*Sigh*

One time…I don't really remember when - must've been near the beginning, we thought our…our killer had returned…as a night guard. All of us tried every night to get our revenge, but he would always somehow manage to slip away.

Well, no. What I said was wrong. Not all of us were trying to kill the guard. Gabriel didn't. He was angry like the rest of us, but he kept saying that he couldn't bring himself to do it. To kill someone.

I got mad. We all did. We all yelled at him. We all pressured him, and-and blamed him. Even Cassidy. And so…the following night, he came with us. Not only that, he also managed to sneak up on the guard, and…end him.

That guard was not our killer, in the end. We were all saddened, but Gabriel…he sounded broken. We had made him kill an innocent person for nothing.

I felt so bad, but when I apologized to Gabriel, he just laughed it off. Charlotte, too, tried to comfort him, but the result was the same. He never spoke of that again.

5: Which animatronic is your favorite?

Ah, that's a much happier question! Chica, of course! She was always my favorite, because she was the funniest in my eyes. I guess I stood lucky?

…On second thought, maybe not.

That was the final question. Thank you for participating, Susie.

Phew, thank God. Now then. I wonder what kind of pizza they made today. I'm hungry.

Interviewee: Jeremy

1: How would you describe your experience?

The hell sort of question is THAT!? Terrible, of course! What else am I supposed to say?

2: Who do you consider to be your best friend among your group? (Do not worry, they won't know your answer.)

Alright, I'm calm now… That's an easy question. Fritz is my best bro in the whole world…even if he annoys me sometimes… Just, don't tell him I said all that!

3: What was your main pastime?

Hmm… I mean…not like I had many options. Does cracking jokes with the others count as a pastime? Oh, uh, I guess I also tried to play the guitar sometimes, but…animatronic hands kinda suck.

4: Was there anything you did or did not do as an animatronic that you now regret?

I regret not having punched that guy who took away my face back in the 80's. What a jerk…

5: Which animatronic is your favorite?

Y'know… At first, it was actually Bonnie. As the decades flew by, the Marionette grew on me. I had never given it much thought before.

That was the final question. Thank you for participating, Jeremy.

Sure. No problem. At least now I can finally leave, and rock out.

Interviewee: Fritz

1: How would you describe your experience?

If you ignore all the suffering, pain and agony? A true adventure, looking back on it. I'm sure Captain Foxy would be proud of me.

I just wish I could have shared a stage with the others. The Cove gets lonely sometimes. Oh, and cold, too. Like the sea at night.

2: Who do you consider to be your best friend among your group? (Do not worry, they won't know your answer.)

Jeremy is the coolest guy. Sure, he's a little easy to anger, but I know he's nice deep down.

3: What was your main pastime?

I'd run around like the wind, of course! Or, I'd try to. If only the pizzeria had been a little bigger… Ah! I'd also set sail on the raging sea, and uncover booty! Yargh! That - uh…would be treasure, y'know.

[At this point, Jeremy intervened, stating that in reality, Fritz would actually 'plunder' the Prize Corner of its gifts.]

4: Was there anything you did or did not do as an animatronic that you now regret?

Kind of… I wish I had spent more time with that Balloon Kid. He seemed fun. Too bad he got scrapped. The Mangle, too. Poor guys…

5: Which animatronic is your favorite?

Foxy was always the one and only for me. Maybe it was…fate? Wow. That actually sounds like something Charlotte would say.

That was the final question. Thank you for participating, Fritz.

No problem, matey. Unfortunately for you, you must now walk the plank!

Interviewee: Gabriel

1: How would you describe your experience?

…I'm just glad it's over.

2: Who do you consider to be your best friend among your group? (Do not worry, they won't know your answer.)

Probably Charlie. She's always been there for me. For us… I can't imagine how she felt, being the first, all alone. Susie is sweet, too. I like her.

3: What was your main pastime?

I'd, uh… I'd play music with my music box. Charlie and Susie liked it. Red light-Green light was also kind of fun, at times. Whenever Fritz wouldn't cheat, at least. Heh.

4: Was there anything you did or did not do as an animatronic that you now regret?

This happened back in…when was it? 1987, I believe?

That was when I saw Charlie for the first time…I think. Anyway, she awakened me. She asked me for help to… to save them. The other children, I mean. The ones after us. I didn't quite understand what she meant by that, nor…nor did I know what to do, so I just let her guide me.

I saw their bodies. I…I saw them. What had happened to them. I saw

… there-there was…so much blood. I kept following Charlie, until she led me to…him.

The first time I had seen the man who had taken our lives, in my new animatronic…body. I remembered. I charged at him. I heard my footsteps echo through the hallway. I was ready to crunch down his throat.

I failed. I don't remember what he did…just the shock I felt, as…as…as I fell to the floor. He laughed at me.

I failed. I failed Charlie. I failed the children. I couldn't save them. I couldn't even avenge them, or my friends.

I'm sorry. I should just let go of the past…

5: Which animatronic is your favorite?

Ha ha…

Honestly, after spending decades in one of them, I don't have a favorite. Not anymore, anyway.

That was the final question. Thank you for participating, Gabriel.

Whatever. When you wake up, just remember: Friends are forever.

Cassidy was not willing to participate in the interview.
