Lost.

"You are the third to arrive.", Shaki smiles and pours in a glass for her already.

"Third?", Nami grins and falls onto the bar chair. "Who beat me?"

"Your shipwright, Frank arrived yesterday.", Shaki explains in a small cheer. "He has been already checking the sunny and assuring its state."

"Seems about right.", Nami hums and enjoys the liquor falling down her throat. Delicious. It had been a while she had tasted some proper fermented drink.

"And your first man, the swordsman.", Rayleigh adds, his eyes watching in his peripheral. He smiles at her skipping heartbeat.

Shaki leans over the bar and smiles at Nami. "He had been walking around."

"Where to?", she asks casually and sets her focus again on the drink in her hand. One, she probably would have enjoyed even more with his company. Her fellow alcohol enthusiast. Her finger slide over the droplets slowly collecting around her glass. It has been two years.

"Nowhere particular, he said. Just exploring the island. He left with Franky, maybe he is still on the ship with him though.", Rayleigh supplies with a soft smile, he throws to his already knowing wife.

Nami hums in reply and lingers only for another second. "I shall check there then. It will be nice to see the sunny again too.", she pushes the glass down the bar and raises in a full body stretch. "Thank you. For everything.", she smiles and eyes fall on Rayleigh. "For taking care of Luffy, our captain is surely a handful."

Rayleigh laughs lightly at that. "He is a reminder of old times. I was grateful for that.", he raises his glass and Nami nods to him. Her movement falls once more. "Also.", her fingers tremble over the wooden bar. "Thank you for saving us… him.", she whispers and takes a deep breath in order to avoid her mind serving her the moments that painted nightmares of the last few years.

"The least.", Rayleigh answers softly and they both watch the navigator leave their bar again.

"Young love.", Shaki smiles.

"Complains, my dear?", Rayleigh grins over the bar to his wife, who chuckles and leans into a small kiss. "They have grown."

"Let's hope they might beat us at this too."

Sunrays dance over the majestic lines that make the sunny. The colourful wooden arches around its exterior, to the smiling lion head over its stacked line out. Nami's eye travel over the beast of the sea. Their home.

And as her glance catches movement, her mind detects the first visible change. On the top of the crow nest, the once wooden roof with windows had been replaced with a glass dome, well something that resembled that material. As Nami is sure it must be something sturdier. And right there her eyes catch the motion of two figures seemingly working on the last changes.

"Super-bro, that is perfect!", Franky grins loud and jumps himself down the lawn.

"Who became the romantic and decided star watching would be a good call?", Nami's voice rings from the land and Franky turns in huge excitement. "Our smart navigator is back! I sure, sunny is just as super happy as I am.", he moves is arms and hips in a hyped dance and therefore, letting Nami instantly register the otherwise already highly changed appearance of their shipwright. He had assembled himself into a larger state, so much more arms and chest.

"Also, we both agreed star watching had been our favourite pass action over the last two years.", the voice.

Deep it flows over the ship to her ears and then another thud, right next to Franky in a green layout and a red bandana lands their swordsman. A bright grin on his cheeks.

Nami takes a deep breath in. Two years. Two years and one traumatic separation later. There he stands. Broad. And so big.

It does not take any second thought of hers, when they both finally getting off the sunny to land in front of her on the island, for her to jump straight into their arms. Both of them into a tight hug. Franky responding willingly and takes over the guidance of their embrace, pushing all of their bodies tighter.

"Super-reunion!", he shouts and Nami chuckles into his metallic chest. Her eyes fall onto the swordsman, who does not grumble or grunt in annoyance over this emotional moment, but instead grins bright at the shipwright, his arms surrounding both of them, less tight.

His face turns and as he leans his head lightly against Franky's chest as well, who at this point started crying into the sky. "Not sure, how he will handle the others arrival.", Zoro's says into the space between them with the same grin still plastered over his face.

Nami watches his face, the scar, the otherwise so much more matured features. He looked like a different man. Like a man. All youth and innocence ripped away of the arrogant monster that she had started the journey with.

"Yeah.", she whispers in a weak reply. "Chopper, and Usopp will not survive this hug.", she chuckles and feels that the reason her own body had not been fully crashed onto the cyborg was the protective hand over her back, the arm of the swordsman serving as the buffer to take the intense pull Franky puts on them.

"Oi, Franky.", his voice is deeper. So much deeper. "A bit air and space would be welcomed."

"Of course!", Franky inhales his last tears and finally releases them. In a small thud, they both land on their feet.

"I want to hear everything. Our swordsman did not really want to share much, said he doesn't like to repeat himself over and over again.", Franky complains.

"It is annoying.", Zoro supports the prior accusations against him and Nami just chuckles. "Sure, how about we grab something to eat.", she grins. "On me today. But don't tell the others.", both of her crewmates stare at her.

"Okay, who are you?", Zoro grumbles and steps in doubt closer, while Franky already laughs excited and pulls the swordsman around. "I have the perfect place in mind."

Nami follows the two and as their path through the island of sabaody, Franky already starts in full extent to share his adventures.

It bites her. As they all have started the journey together, to share with each other all those moments of joy, undiscovered danger, and mystical island. Just to be separated for longer than even the longest of them, Luffy and Zoro, had been on each other's side.

Luffy and Zoro.

The moment flashes in front of her eyes. The moment, Zoro was taken. The moment Luffy broke beyond anything she has seen before. His one nakama that stood on his side from day one, the one Luffy relied on more than of the others. The one Luffy needed to protect the others, him. His repeated cries for his first mate rang long in Nami's mind. So desperate, so broken.

Her mind slips to the moment, Luffy failed her. Luffy reached her…

"Nami.", her eyes blink and she looks at the both standing next to her, a worry mirrored in their eyes. "Sorry, I just… this place brings memories back.", her lips lift in a weak smile.

"Not the good kind.", Franky adds to that and opens the door of the restaurant he had been wanting to go since he arrived.

Nami watches him shortly, she had been with him back then. When he had pulled her out of the stagnation after Zoro's disappearance. He had been taken in front of her eyes. His hair down, broken and exhausted.

Fingers slipping over her wrist. So softly, as if they don't want to break the trance her mind is guiding her but making sure that she does not fully withdraw from them once more. Her eyes follow the arm now in front of her, barely pulling her than navigating her after the cyborg.

Zoro's hand felt so big around her tiny wrist. So rough and yet so delicate in their touch. She slides on the bench next to the swordsman, who releases her hand.

Franky had found them a little peaceful corner at the dimmed light restaurant. Noises disappeared in their little niche separated by the enveloping wall. It is cosy and intimate. Just what they needed. Nami looks over the cyborg who took it to himself to order for them as well and then she catches him watching over them in soft melancholy. The sparkle of happiness so deep in his features that it warms her entire heart.

"I really missed you guys.", he says freely into their bubble. His eyes find Nami's and there is the moment, they both had needed since they were separated. Next to each other. Safe and healthy.

Zoro's eye switches between the two of them, Franky had arrived just a couple of hours before. There had not been a moment of exchange and he is none to dwell to much on past details, but he could not deny that this feels heavy. Warm and heavy.

"Oh.", Franky interjects his own thoughts and turns to Zoro. "You don't really know what happened.", he realises. Zoro had been the first to disappear.

"Hm. I mean, I figured since the two of you came back separately, that I was not the only one thrown away by Kuma.", that much he gathered now. That much he assumed when Mihawk told him about the war and the lack of any of their nakama's during that fight. Just Luffy. Fighting for his brother and losing him.

'In front of his eyes.'

Mihawks' words haunt him still. Their cheerful captain, the one he vowed to protect, the one he…

Her hand slips over his tightened fist on the table. He raises his head and looks at the soft features of the cyborg.

"We all failed.", and Zoro wants to deny that. Wants to shout that it is not on them, that this was, is, his duty. To protect their captain. To protect them all.

"Zoro.", Nami's small hand lands over the on Franky had been covering his. "He is okay."

He breathes. He did not realise that he actually had stopped that natural reflex of his, but when the air fills his lungs, he attains how long he had been holding it in. How long he needed to hear those words.

"Oh, our soft swordsman.", Franky yanks him in an intense pull right into his metallic chest.

"Oi.", Zoro wants to complain when he feels Franky's tears fall onto his cheeks. He smirks, who is the soft one here. "Thanks.", he mumbles and pats his fellow crewmember in an attempt to calm his nerves.

Nami chuckles at them and leans her chin onto her hand on the table. Her eyes just observing the two, so naturally soft with each other. The two probably – if the others have not switched their bodies out too much – physically biggest members on their crew openly embracing their strongest side. Their love.

"Brook was taken after you.", Nami starts then, both their attention turning back to her. "Then Usopp, and in a last fighting attempt Sanji.", her eyes swift between both.

"Then me and I assume you followed.", Franky says and a nod follows. "Means Chopper and Robin were last.", Nami sighs in relief of not being the one seeing the last broken peace of hope disappear in Luffy when he failed saving even the last one of them.

"He must have been traumatised.", Zoro whispers into the air. "Losing all of us… losing him.", the fist back on the table, this time quickly covered by Nami's. "He was not alone."

Franky smiles and as their drinks land on the table, the other two look stunned at the jug of beer in front of them.

"Heard they have some of the best and you two love those drinks, right?", he grins at them. He picked that restaurant because he heard about its exquisite meat and beverage. Two things he knows at least three of his crewmates will enjoy. Two of them being already with him.

"You really have a big, soft heart.", Zoro grins and takes the jug in his hand. "To us, the Strawhats.", he raises it into their middle. Franky and Nami grin in union and bang their own jugs into their vice captain's.

The mood shifting back into a lighter one, conversations wandering to their time apart. Mostly Nami and Franky freely sharing their devastations, struggles and any funny encounter while Zoro in between bites and laughers enjoys the excursion to their last two years.

"Where did Kuma send you?", Nami inquests as she puts her cutlery away, fully satisfied with the meal.

"Kuraigana Island.", he takes his own last bite and leans back. "Mihawk's home.", he adds fully aware the prior statement was not informative to them.

Franky halts at his movements. "Wait. You were with him? For two years?"

"Him and ghost girl.", Zoro supplies in a clearly annoyed sigh.

Nami's eyes widen. "That is where he had put Perona.", another awareness grows. Kuma must have been very aware where he positions each one of them. Nami kept thinking that for herself over and over. How well, he had planned to put the navigator of the crew onto an island meant for weathery investigations. There is no doubt that the others were similarly well placed. Proven by the swordsman's statement.

"He probably knew someone was there to take care of your wounds.", Franky says in between his munches.

"Thought that too.", Zoro grumbles. "But would have not minded a different company.", to which Franky laughs loudly. "How many times did she let her negatives take you?"

"Too many.", he admits in an even deeper grumble, making even Nami chuckle. "How was it being with Mihawk? I mean, he is your endgoal.", Franky switches the focus.

Endgoal.

Zoro digests that term. It sounds empty.

"He… told me about Luffy. About the war."

"He was there.", Nami read something about his name in the articles. But who can be sure about most of those fabricated words.

"Yeah. He even fought our captain. But Luffy is always full of luck in those moments.", Zoro grins. "He had gathered a couple of people that supported his goal. Still can't believe that Crocodile out of all people helped them escape."

"Wait, is that true? I thought the news just lied.", Franky gulps and looks between them. Nami as surprised as him to hear those confirmations.

"Well, Mihawk said that at least.", Zoro explains and both believed the word of the current world strongest swordman. Zoro's eye dwelling on his jug, his hand his holding on to.

"I asked him to train me."

He didn't ask.

Nami watches his eye staring hard onto the table. This confession held a lot. Even Franky knew as much as her how much that statement contains.

"He agreed?", Franky asks softly while proceeding taking another bite of his dish.

Zoro smirks. "Yeah, called me crazy though first.", his lips fall down. "And pathetic."

Franky gulps and his eyes search Nami's in clear lost of how to reply to those vulnerable words.

But Nami does not look up at him, instead she moves closer to the swordsman, slipping her hand into his neck and then she pulls him in, in a quick strong motion, she has placed the swordmans face right onto her neck, while her fingers dig deep into his skull.

"Idiot.", she grumbles and feels the soft lift of his lips on her skin. "You are way too strong for that.", and she did not refer to his obvious physic. Which as she noticed had really grown largely. His neck was so broad, his back so packed, she probably disappeared entirely below him. Her cheeks glow and she retraces herself from him, not stopping herself to leave one weak punch against that hard chest of his. She blinks at her palm and places it again over his half revealed chest. "Did you turn into a cyborg too?", no. His skin was warm, heated and so soft even around the scars.

Zoro raises a brow and watches her fingers dance over his chest.

"Should I leave the room or so…", Franky laughs behind them and finally Nami takes her hand back that she had placed so thoughtless on his chest.

"You both are just monsters- physically.", she grumbles and pokes her tongue out, just gaining another deep laugher from both. She grins and raises her hand to order another round for them. Since no big matter was on the plate, they just lingered for hours in their corner, drank, snacked and laughed, squeezed in together and their shared stories. Until the restaurant did need to close and they parted in the dark hours of the calm island. Franky starting to dance and entertain himself with his own not quite melodical chants.

Zoro falling in small chuckles behind and the navigator right on his side. Literally. Their fingers would strive the other every other step and aside little twitch neither moved into more distance.

"I cannot wait for our next adventures.", Nami gleams as she watches Franky's hips circle to another super-dance.

Zoro's eye glances over her, her red cheeks, her long over her shoulders dancing hair. Her parted wine-stained lips that dance in a bright smile just as her eyes sparkle with bliss. Her fingers… touching his again, neither retreating.

"Sorry.", he whispers.

Her eyes turning instantly up to him, assuming for a split second he refers to their hands, but her mind grabbing the depth of his expression instantly.

"For making you worry.", he adds to assure her it was not about his failure, not about something that she had tried so clearly to rip of his guilty chest. No, this was about another wound he knows he had caused her. He knows because this is Nami. Their so caring navigator, that loves them all so deeply. He knows that his weakness caused her heart harm.

"That is not on you to be sorry about.", she pouts at him and pokes into his arm. "Also, you probably worried way more than any of us. So, I call it even.", she grins at him and he can just follow that lead.

"I missed you."

He had missed her.

She had missed him.

It was all written over their faces as those words had left them simultaneously. As they both admitted to each other in this drunk moment of happiness.

She breaks first, chuckling in delight of his confession over her own and her body falls into his arm. Wrapping her arms over his limp and placing her chin right onto this beast of muscles as she looks up at him. "Let us go to the amusement park tomorrow.", she scrunches her nose. "Well, today if we want to be correct time wise."

There he chuckles and nods. "Sounds like a plan."

"Yeah, heard you hadn't had one today.", Nami whispers and her eyes still following the traces of this so new and yet so familiar face. Her hand raises and fall in soft motion over his closed eye.

"Zoro without a goal… something unheard off.", her voice so calm and soft holds all of the truth she knows about him. He might get lost all the time, but normally it was on the course of a path in his mind.

And as she drifts deeper into the philosophy of the swordsman, he just watches her eyes slide over him, her fingers reaching and touching his marked skin.

They had been very comfortable with each other. Always had been. Especially when alone. An unspoken rule of their relationship.

Be rough and harsh to each other, let all the steam off on the other. Make sure to function and ready.

But once alone. Once darkness would settle over the ship, sleep find their comrades or the waves stopped crashing down and doors were closed, they were soft. Warm and close.

The way their bodies naturally would shift to each other, embrace the other in a hug and hold all the other heavy feelings the day had drained of them. The hours spend next to each other, shoulder on shoulder watching the stars and silence being their friend or soft confession only the other was ever meant to hear and know about.

Neither knows if there ever had been a proper beginning of those moments or if it just was so naturally something they evolved into the moment they met. It probably was the latter.

Since the first night when the two little boats rode over the small waves of the east blue and Luffy's snores filled the air, they would linger with the other. Getting to know each other, just little pieces that they dared the other to hold. Both aware about the wall in between their mistrusting hearts.

Yet, it did not stop either to fall into the comfort of care for the other.

And yet again, it all turned once Arlong Park was a piece of her past. One that in full detail she only had shared with the swordsman at the late hours in the crow nest of the going merry.

Nothing every really was kept from the other, the more Nami presented all of her to him, the more he craved and needed. Despite her being closer to Robin. Despite her having her confidante in Usopp. Despite her openly cuddling and embracing Chopper.

Despite all that, at the end of it all, she would always find him and share her heart and mind with him.

And so would he. It felt easy to follow her. To allow her to meet his inner monsters, his darker thoughts, that aside of her only Robin ever was allowed to hear. Though different.

Nami and him created a rhythm for themselves that they both did not know yet where it would lead them. But neither denying to just dive further into it. As long as the other stays on their side.

Zoro's lips lift in a soft smile. "At least I cannot get lost, if I don't even know where I am heading to."

Her eyes falling over his lips, the endearment they reflect only for her to see. She raises her look, meeting his eye and smiles just as warmly at him.

"Don't worry about getting lost, that you have me for.", she whispers and their eyes linger.
