This is another version of Record of Ragnarok but with historical figures, of course it will have the same flow as the original but it will be a bit more detailed and slight changes to the characters and history as a whole, so I hope you enjoy it.

Disclaimer: I don't own Record of Ragnarok be it the anime or manga.

Prologue: The Proclamation and the Start of the Greatest Battle in History!

Everything has a history, it is a show of how one has progressed through life. Some are tragic, some are fortunate, some are born from evil, some are born from good, some are glorious or honorable, some are horrid and dishonorable, some have figures that are know throughout it, and some are simply forgotten and lost to time but no matter what it is, history is a story that writes itself. And the history of Mankind, was a long and eventful one with many individuals that made their names and placed themselves in the minds of everyone that knows or will know them.

But that same history was now being threatened of getting wiped out from existence and being forgotten, forever! But who or what could be behind such a threat, was a world-ending plague? No, was it a killer heatwave? No, was it a second coming ice age? No, a war so massive and destructive that it would destroy the very planet? No, was it possibly an extraterrestrial being from beyond the star!? No! It was none of those things, the very beings that threatened all of Mankind and its history were the very beings that started it all and created them, The Gods.

In one of the many realms of the Gods there was Valhalla, were it was rumored all warriors were taken to by Valkyries, it the very same place where the Gods of each Pantheon vote to decide what actions to take. It was lead by Council of Valhalla were only Supreme Gods of each Pantheon was apart but for a specific accord every 1000 years all the Gods gather to decide the fate of Humanity in where they will either spare them or destroy them and it was this very place where the decision if Mankind's history would continue or come to a end.

"I-It about to start… Big Sister." Goll said, she was the youngest of 13 Elite Valkyries.

"So it has." Brunhilde said, she was the Eldest and Current Leader of the 13 Elite Valkyries.

The two would proceed down the hall to the Court of the Gods, the room where all discussion and decisions are made by the Gods.

"Well now everyone, it's been 1000 years since we last gathered here. Shall we start the conference then?" Zeus said, he is the Supreme Greek God of Lightning, Strongest God of Olympus, Leader of the Greek Pantheon, and Chairman of the Council of Valhalla. He was an old looking man that only wore a toga.

"Wow… I'd never seen so many in one place before." Goll said in awe at the sight and felt a bit overwhelmed. "Right, Big Sister?" She asked Brunhilde.

"Hmmmm." Brunhilde responded with a hum and just observed quietly.

"Now let me ask you all, regarding the survival of Humanity." Zeus said, then held up two voting paddles "X" for destruction and "O" for mercy. "Should we destroy Humanity once and for all or shall we show them mercy and give them another 1000 years, show me the will of the Gods." He said to all the Gods.

"Hey hey, I say we should just destroy them already, yeah?" Shiva said voting for destruction, he is the Supreme Hindu God of Destruction and Creation, The Strongest Destroyer, Leader of the Hindu Pantheon, known as the Peak of Svarga, and was a member of the Council of Valhalla. "From what I have seen over the years, Humanity doesn't seem to have any intention of repenting for their actions and guiding is such a pain in the ass." He said with a groan. "Let's just erase them all and focus on some different animal species." He suggested with a snap of his finger.

"I agree, what Lord Shiva said is true." Aphrodite said voting for destruction, she is the Greek Goddess of Love and Beauty. "In the last 1000 years Humanity has become too ugly and vile, performing the most heinous acts on each other, truly their no species more destructive than them." She pointed out.

"Indeed, Humanity is a blight. They poison the seas with pollution, tear down acres of trees, all kinds of animals hunted to extinction or near it. Humans have no care for nature or life at all, they're a living cancer." Gaia said voting for destruction, she is the Primordial Goddess of Earth and Nature, Mother of All Life, Co-Creator of Humanity and Former Chairman of the Council of Valhalla. She was a tall, toned, and mature body woman, having brown hair, lush green skin, blue eyes with black sclera, and pointed ears. She wore black lipstick, toga along with brown pants, sandals and black roots marks all over her body.

"Let's not forget the severe amount of sins Humanity has along with how blasphemous they are, they wage war on each other and kill one another over the most pointless things." Uriel said voting for destruction, she is one of the Four Archangels of Heaven, Archangel of Wisdom and Prophecy, known as the Smartest Angel Alive, and a member of the Council of had long platinum blonde hair done in a bun, fair white skin, a lean and toned body, sapphire lipstick, and golden eyes with dark blue stars in them, and wore the traditional robes of the angels but also added a suit dress and pants that was a blend of Greek and Norse style, with silver metal tip boots, her wings were on full display. "Not many humans are sent to Tartarus but the likes of Nostradamus, Dante Alighieri, and Sisyphus actions were so unforgiven that it proves Humanity as a whole is too deep in sin, the only thing left is for them to be eradicated." She said in a calm and professional manner.

"Now, let's be fair. Humanity has just as much good for all and a few individuals went above and beyond, Gandhi, Martin Luther King Jr, King Xerxes, and Alexander the Great, all humans that went to the very limit for the greater good." Quetzalcoatl said voting for mercy, he is the Supreme Aztec God of Justice, Mercy and Wind, The Leader of the Aztec Pantheon, known as the Rainbow Sky Serpent, and was a member of the Council of Valhalla. He has a toned and muscular body with tan skin that was decorated with Aztec tattoos in all colors on his face, chest, and arms, green eyes, and dark brown hair down in a simply braided ponytail. He wore a golden helmet that had dozens of different colored feathers, golden shoulder pads with red cape, a green and golden robe around his waist, and Aztec boots. "Besides, we Gods are not so innocent, some of us have plenty of blood on our hands and start plenty of wars for less than important manners." He pointed out in a firm and serious tone, gesturing to Poseidon, Loki, Pan, and other Gods known for causing trouble among Heaven. "And we've sent as many down to Tartarus as well, Asura, Dionysus, Lucifer, even my own brother remain down there." He stated.

"Quetzalcoatl is right, we can't ignore the negative consequences of our actions or the positive consequences of Humanity's actions. They proved themselves to be effective warriors and noble, having strength to stand on their own two feet." Izanagi said voting for mercy, he is Supreme Japanese God of Creation, The Divine Blade of Heaven, Former Leader of the Japanese Pantheon, Co-Creator of Humanity, and a member of the Council of Valhalla. He had fair white skin, pitch black hair down in a noble ponytail, it black eyes and a lean but fit body. He wears a white traditional Japanese kimono, with a golden sash around the waist, and wooden sandals and even had a long sheath that held his sacred blade. "We shouldn't ignore such a feat, we should give them the chance to better, possibly send a warning." He suggested.

"The humans remain ignorant, the good of the few hardly make up for the evil actions of the many. A warning would hardly do a thing, they had literal decades to clear up their acts and yet remain doing the same things over and over again." Ra said voting for destruction, he is the Supreme Egyptian God of the Sun, Leader of the Egyptian Pantheon, known as the Bird of the Sacred Flame, and a member of the Council of Valhalla. He had a bulky body covered in scars that was a darker tan with a tone of orange, the head of a bird with glowing yellow eyes, and proud wings similar to a falcon. He wore a nemes headdress, an Egyptian robe around his waist, golden bracelets, and large golden necklaces. "We should annihilate them and start from scratch after the planet has had time to heal." He said seriously and coldly.

"Ra and Izanagi both make good points but to me it just seems like Humanity has just become too boring and predictable, they don't even try to ascend to Heaven to challenge us anymore." Yu Di said not even voting, he is the Supreme Chinese God, Leader of the Chinese Pantheon, Jade Emperor of Heaven, and member of the Council of Valhalla. He had white skin, jade green eyes, black hair done in a man bun held by two golden pins. Wear a jade mouth cover, a white Chinese robe with golden and jade color patterns on it and held by black sash, and black sandals. "Destroying them would just be a waste of time but at the same time there is just too much trouble to deal with, I honestly don't care whatever choice is made." He said in a bored tone.

"I too am at an impasse, while Humanity has many vile and wretched beings, many Gods and Goddess mingled and fallen in love with humans and birth many powerful Demigods, what's the deal there?" Amaterasu asked not voting either, she is the Supreme Japanese Goddess of the Sun, The Current Leader of the Japanese Pantheon, known as the Divine Blade of Fire, and a member of the Council of Valhalla. She had fair white skin that shined, long black hair that flowed freely, orange yellow eyes with red lipstick, and had a mature but toned body. She wears a crimson kimono with golden flame patterns with a white sash around the waist, plain wooden sandals, a gold and black sheath that holds her katana, and white lotus on the right side of her hair. "Heracles, Perseus, Apis, Vidar, Hachmin, Yaoji, need I go on? Are we considering this from all angles?" She questioned.

"Are you merely saying that because Hachmin is your lover?" Tsukuyomi said in mocking manner and voting for destruction, he was the Japanese God of the Moon, and known as the Divine Blade of the Moon. He had fair white skin, pure white hair done in the same style as his father, had silver eyes, and a more toned and fit body. He wears a black kimono with moon patterns on it held by a gold sash, and black wooden sandals.

"That's besides the point." Amaterasu said, dismissing the claim. "I simply pointed out the obvious if Humanity is to be destroyed."

"Humanity has shown arrogance beyond anything else, some denying our very existence. They only deserve divine punishment for such actions." Perun said voting for destruction, he was the Supreme Slavic God of Justice, Leader of the Slavic Pantheon, known as the Ruthless Thunderbolt of Judgement and most Powerful Slavic God, and member of the Council of Valhalla and Commander of Heaven's Executioners of the Slavic Diversion. He was tall and had a very muscular body that had white skin, a full long white beard, and blue eyes. He wears a dark brown robe with a chain mill, a blue cape, dark blue pants with armored boots, a silver helmet with small wings, gold bracelets with spikes. "If any Demigods that dare to get in the way will survive the same fate." He said coldly in a booming voice.

"While I agree that Humanity should be destroyed for their sins and arrogance as well as their greed. The killing of fellow Gods let alone Demigod is a bit harsh, isn't it." Marduk said voting for destruction, The Supreme Babylon Gods of Magic and Justice, King of the Babylon Gods and Leader of the Babylonian Pantheon, known as the Wise Warrior King, and member of the Council of Valhalla. He had dark brown skin, long purple and black hair, yellow eyes that glowed, and four brown wings. He wired golden bracelets, a dark purple robe around his waist and white pants. "Humans have grown complacent and earn the fate of destruction but we shouldn't just up and challenge our fellow Gods." He advised.

"Although I love Humanity I must agree with their annihilation for they are too far gone to be saved, many if they stay dead for a few decades to learn their lesson they can be remade and do better." Lugh said voting for destruction, he was the Celtic God of Light and Judgement, Current Leader of the Celtic Pantheon, The Most Challenging God, known as the Heavenly Spear of Light, and a member of the Council of Valhalla. He had long blonde hair, golden eyes, fair white skin, and a fit and muscular body. He wears a simple robe around his shoulder, white pants, and metal shoes.

"Hmmm, it must be this way." The Dagda said voting for destruction, he is Supreme Celtic God of Goodness, The Strongest Celtic God, Former Leader of the Celtic Gods, and Former member of the Council of Valhalla. He was a tall and buff old man with a long gray beard, white skin, pure white eyes, and antlers. He wore a simple brown hooded cloak, fur pants and boots.

"I can't agree with this, not when Humanity has done many good things for the sake of others. Many of them have done horrible things but so have us Gods, we should at least give the chance to learn from their mistakes." Isis said voting for mercy, she is the Supreme Egyptian Goddess of Healing, The Beloved Doctor of Heaven, Queen of Miracles and Recovery, and member of the Council of Valhalla. She had lovely tan skin, a mature and alluring body, pure golden eyes, and long black hair. She wears an Egyptian royal robe alongside a see-through dress decorated with gold and jewels, golden bracelets, a necklace, a golden headband and golden eyeshadow and lipstick. "Can we really ignore the love and care that humans have for each other, so much in fact that they will give up anything and everything." She said with so much love and genuine care.

"Unfortunately my dear it must be done, Humanity is too chaotic and unpredictable to leave for chance, their love has twisted them and created the most vile monsters of all creation, Jack the Ripper, Elizabeth Bathory, Shaka Zulu." Osiris said to his wife voting for destruction, he is the Supreme God of Death and Rebirth, Lord of the Underworld, known as the Fierce Judge of the Dead, and member of the Council of Valhalla. He had dark tan skin, a fit and toned muscular body, and pure white eyes. He wore Egyptian royal robes, a tall crown, and less jewel but had gold and silver all over his clothes.

"Indeed and it's with that same love that they brought about so much death and destruction, so much betrayal, can we truly let beings with such emotions run free?" Nyx said, she is the Primordial Greek Goddess of the Night, Mother of All Darkness, and Former member of the Council of Valhalla. She had pale white skin, dark purple eyes with pitch black sclera, extra long midnight hair with spots of stars in them, and purple lipstick. She wears a black toga along with purple, black, and dark gray dress around her waist and skin-tight black pants with heels, and a dark silver crown.

She was seen walking into the room with her husband, Erebus, the Primordial Greek God of Darkness, Father of the Eternal Night, Most Feared and Powerful Greek God, and former member of the Council of Valhalla which surprised everyone and showed her vote for destruction.

"Indeed, Humanity has to be annihilated, plain and simple." Erebus commanded voting for destruction. He had a tall and muscular body with dark gray skin, white eyes with black sclera, short pitch black hair. He wore a suit of full body armor as well as a cape that was made of pure solid darkness.

And soon many Gods and Goddesses began to vote, some chose for destruction while others who still had love or still believe in Humanity voted for mercy, the outcome of Mankind's fate would be decided on whether their history will continue or end here.

"N-No way, how could they?" Goll thought with shock. "This is what Big Sister said would happen, the will of the Gods will end everything!" She thought in disbelief at this and looked at Brunhilde, who remained calm at this and she could only guess what was going through her head at that moment. "Humanity is done for, there is no way to stop the Gods…" She thought in a gloomy manner.

After gathering and counting all the votes, it was decided that Humanity would be destroyed. A harsh outcome but so was the will of the Gods, the long history of Humanity was decided to be brought to an end.

"Well I guess it has been decided then." Zeus said, raising his gavel.

"PLEASE WAIT A SECOND!" Brunhilde shouted, getting all of their attention then descending the steps.

"HUUUUUH!?" Goll thought, having a look of complete shock. "What are you doing Big Sister!? You can't just interrupt the Will of the Gods!" She thought in a panic then quickly followed after her Elder Sister.

Brunhilde walked past all the Gods, Goddesses, and Angels as she descended the steps and they just looked at her in silent surprise and confusion on what she could possibly have to say, when she was at the bottom step she bowed before the Council of Valhalla.

"My most humble and sincere apologies, mighty Gods." Brunhilde said to them. "But there is one thing I must say." She told the Council.

"Mind your manners… BRUNHILDE!" The White Raven of Odin, he is the Supreme Norse God, All-Father, King of Asgard, Leader of the Nordic Pantheon, and member of the Council of Valhalla. On his shoulders were his raven, one black and one white. "How dare you open your filthy mouth and interrupt the conference of the Gods!" The Black Raven shouted in a harsh manner. "Imbecile half-god." The White Raven insulted.

"Mind your tongues or lose them, you rats with wings." Freya said to the two raven in a firm but deadly tone, she is the Supreme Norse Goddess of Love and Fertility, Queen of Asgard, Former Leader of the Valkyries, and member of the Council of Valhalla. She had long golden brown hair with a few braids on the left side, chocolate colored eyes, fair skin that was a shade darker then Brunhilde, and a mature but toned body that had Norse runes on her arms and shoulders. She wore royal Asgard robes but had a style more similar to Vanir. "Let's hear her out before shutting her down at the very least." She stated.

"Thank you, Lady Freya." Brunhilde said with another bow. "I know that Humanity is extremely vulgar and needlessly violent but to just destroy them just like that, isn't that a bit… boring?" She asked the Council.

"Boring? How so?" Zeus asked her.

"Whether Humanity's survival has any value or not, with the might or mercy of the Gods, why not test them?" Brunhilde suggested.

"Test them? How?" Ra asked her. "By unleashing a blazing heatwave?"

"Or another ice age?" Marduk suggested.

"How about a worldwide flood." Gaia pointed out.

"None of those, I have a more effective way to test them." Brunhilde told them all.

"What is it?" Erebus asked her.

"A battle between Human and God or better known as, Ragnarok." Brunhilde said in a firm tone

"R-Ragnarok?" Goll said, confused.

"Valhalla constitution. Article No.62, explained in Paragraph 15 of the super special clause." Brunhilde stated, pulling out the rule book. "Basically a one-on-one showdown of God and Human, each side will have 18 combatants the first one claim 9 victories is the winner, if Heaven claims victor then Humanity's fate is seal and they will be destroyed and on the off chance that Humanity claims victor then they will be given another 1000 years of survival." She explained then closed the book.

"Such a law is impossible to take seriously." Tsukuyomi told her.

"Indeed, that was nothing more than a practical joke." Osiris said with an eye roll.

"Because there is no possible way that humans could ever harm the Gods and the mere thought of letting them try let alone actually believing they could win against us is laughable." Ra said in a serious tone.

"I don't know what you were thinking but it seems you know nothing, Valkyrie." The White Raven said rudely. "Humans are no match for the Gods!" The Black Raven shouted. "Your proposal is pointless!" The two Ravens said at once.

"Indeed, such a waste of air and time." Ra exclaimed with a sigh.

"There just is no point in watching a one-sided slaughter." Yu Di said in a bored tone, letting out a yawn.

"It would be pointless to entertain such a thing." Osiris agreed and just shook his head.

"The thought that you would propose such a joke is beyond funny, it's insulting." Erebus said coldly.

The rest of the Gods and Goddess began to agree and Brunhilde didn't look fazed and in fact was about to make a claim that would get their attention.

"So even after all these decades, the Gods are still the same as ever. A bunch of blowhards that would rather run their mouths then actually prove it!" A female voice shouted.

And bursting through the doors was a young Greek girl that looked to be in her late teens, she had crystal blue eyes, fair white skin, brownish blond hair done in punk like style as she had on a bang that covered her left eye while the other side was combed to the side and held by a hairclip, she has a lean but fit body and a beauty mark on her right cheek. She wore a classic Greek outfit, that being a shirt that was white and a light blue skirt that reached above her knees, brown leather Greek shoes, a golden necklace, purple lipstick, purple eye-shadow, and dark purple markings in the shape of thorny vines on her arms and legs.

"HUUUUUUUUUH!?" Goll thought in shock at the girl's words.

"Although it should be typical of the gods, not like they have the guts to step down from the safety of their towers and use the might they ooooh so love to brag about." The Greek girl said in a crude manner with a taunting tone as she walked down the steps.

"Pandora…" Nyx said in what sounded closer to a sneer. "Just what are you doing here?" She asked, darkness close to leaking out.

"Indeed, you should be where you were casted in the first place." Erebus said in a dark tone. "How did you escape your cage? How did you escape the Labyrinth?" He demanded.

"Wouldn't you like to know?" Pandora said, pulling down an eyelid and sticking out her tongue. "Instead of worrying about me. You should concern yourself with the coming of Ragnarok." She stated, standing next to Brunhilde.

"It's not used, Pandora. The Gods refuse, they will the destruction of Humanity but don't want to face them in direct confrontation." Brunhilde told Pandora, just shrugging her arms.

"Really? You mean they want to destroy the humans but don't want to be in the same ring as them and fight? Well that's just a shame, a real shame indeed." Pandora said with a fake look of shock on her face.

"Yes it is, it might be just because of one thing…" Brunhilde said, closing her eyes and rubbing her chin.

"I see, just one thing but it couldn't be that…" Pandora said, copying Brunhilde's actions.

"Can it be… that they are afraid!?" Pandora and Brunhilde said at the same time!

Goll looks at the two in complete shock and horror as they say such words to not only the Council but all the deities in the court.

"If so then I did something unnecessary, I'm very sorry that's my bad." Brunhilde said, looking apologetic

"Yeah, let's just forget the whole thing." Pandora said with a causal shrug.

"Indeed, just continue on and don't listen to me." Brunhilde stated.

"It's for the best." Pandora said, her back now facing the Council.

"B-Big Sister… P-Please stop! What are you doing!?" Goll asked Brunhilde, now clinging to her dress. "Forget about Humanity! You will be executed by the Council first if you don't apologize for real! So apologies! Big Sister!?" She shouted in a panicking manner.

At first it was dead silent, not a sound was made but Goll's plea but then a noise could be heard, it was laughter, the laughter of the Gods that echoed through the Court. It was like a father laughing at the childish prank of their child but Brunhilde remain confident and so did Pandora but the laughter would die down and be replace with the growling of snarling of fury of the Gods because to make light of the pride and dignity of the God's almighty power, to make such a remark so triggering by saying, "they are afraid?". If anyone were to suspect for even a moment that the Gods were afraid of facing Humanity it would be the greatest humiliation of all of creation for them!

The Gods, Goddess, and Angels began shouting and cursing at the two for saying such things and treating them with the highest of disrespect! Even the Council of Valhalla were affected by the remark, those of them not on the side of Humanity anyway.

"You'll have to pardon me, Freya. Cause you'll need to find a new leader for the Elites." Tsukuyomi told her. "Cause I'm gonna separate the arrogant bitch's head from her shoulder! Then the faker is next!" He said in a bloodlust tone.

"You'll have to wait your turn, for it will be me." Ra told Tsukuyomi. "I will reduce them both to ashes for their insolence." He said in a fierce tone as his body was throbbing with anger and releasing steam.

"It will be me! I will be the one to bring Divine punishment of these two!" Perun shouted in outrage, releasing lightning.

"You'll just have to get in line, cause it will be me that reminds these two of their place." Osiris said coldly the fury of the Underworld in his eyes.

"You two… have some nerves… saying that." Nyx sneered with great fury as darkness came off her body.

"How dare you." Erebus said in an emotionless tone, overwhelming pressure coming off his body.

"Oh no! The Gods are angry! Even the Council looks ready to attack!" Goll thought in a panic. "Of course they will be angry! What were you thinking Big Sister!?" She thought, clinging to Brunhilde tighter but she and Pandora still remain confident.

"Just as I thought, the Gods are even more easy to provoke than humans!" Brunhilde thought with a single sweatdrop but a smirk.

"Wow, they haven't been this pissed since the time I opened the box." Pandora thought, letting out a whistle.

"That's quite enough, all of you." Quetzalcoatl told his fellow members. "I believe it best to think over her proposal some more." He told them.

"I agree, we shouldn't jump the gun and get all upset." Isis said, agreeing with the Aztec God.

"That's enough brother." Amaterasu told Tsukuyomi. "I, too, believe it best to reconsider what she said."

"Indeed, we shouldn't be so quick and brash as to reject her." Izanagi said in a calm manner. "Nor lose our heads over a few choice words." He told his fellow members.

"I believe we should consider what Brunhilde offered as well, she did come all this way to tell us and it is only fair that we test Humanity in some way." Freya said to the group.

"Nyx… Erebus… settle down." Gaia told the two in a calm tone.

She and Erebus locked eyes and a wave of pressure was released as they clashed for a bit before Erebus settled down and closed his eyes.

"Hohohoho!" Zeus said, actually laughing. "Ragnarok… I see, well now that is quite the interesting proposal." He said, stroking his beard. "Now I don't see a problem with this, besides, hasn't it been a long time since we've seen the might and technique of the Gods?" He asked his fellow members.

"Hehehe, you have some balls to say those kinds of words to the Council." Yu Di said more

amused than angry. "I agree with the old man, it's been a while since we've seen any real actions." He stated to the rest of the Council.

The Council of Valhalla decided to take a moment to think over and discuss the member, through telepathy of course so Brunhilde and Pandora stood there and wanted for the answer, it seemed forever before they got their answers.

"The Council has decided, Brunhilde, your proposal for Ragnarok… has been accepted." Gaia told the Valkyrie.

"But we must see just who you intend on bringing, the decision is non-negotiable." Ra told her in a harsher manner.

"You don't need to sweat it." Pandora said, pulling out a scroll from the pocket of her skirt. "Here's the list of all the fighters that will be entering, and yours truly will be fighting as well." She said, tossing it at the Council which was caught by Zeus.

"Hohoho, good to know." Zeus said with more chuckles.

He raised his gavel and slammed it down and it was here, the showdown between Humanity and God, RAGNAROK, would be decided!

Next time the two Valkyries and God-Made Girl would be seen walking through the halls of Valhalla, the two looked calmed while Goll looked pale and drained but then she finally had enough and dropped to her knees, holding onto Brunhilde's skirt.

"Goll, what is wrong?" Brunhilde asked her youngest sister.

"I can't take it anymore, Big Sister." Goll told her and to prove that fact, she would run to the edge of the hallway window and puke her guts out.

"Yuck." Pandora gagged.

"Why did you do that?! Why did you go against the Will of the Gods and Council!?" Goll asked her and all Brunhilde did was wipe her mouth of any leftover vomit with a handkerchief. "You could've been gonna kill!" She shouted, looking more concerned.

"Goll…" Brunhilde said, looking touched.

"Just… Why did you do that?" Goll repeated but in a more soft tone.

"Goll, you are but the youngest of the 13 Elites. So you don't understand just yet." Brunhilde said to her. "But the bond between humans and Valkyrie goes deeper than that of the Gods, deeper than the Angels, deeper than beyond just words." She told her. "There's no way I can just abandon them." She said softly.

"Big Sister…" Goll said in awe at Brunhilde's words.

"Humanity may be a huge pain in the ass to deal with but I much prefer them over the Gods any day." Pandora said, head patting Goll.

"Ah… right, you… who are you?" Goll asked her.

"Now that's just hurtful." Pandora said with a fake sigh. "It's me, Goll, Pandora… the first woman to be made by the God of Blacksmithing." She told her.

"Pandora?" Goll muttered and then it clicked. "P-P-PANDORAAAA!?" She shouted in shock. "How did you get so tall!? And you look older!" She said, getting closer at her.

"Yeah, it's been a few decades since we last saw each other." Pandora said, rubbing the back of her head. "Since, I was sent to the Labyrinth." She said in a softer tone, rubbing her arms.

"R-Right." Goll said, looking away.

The mood felt a bit more heavy and awkward between the two, Brunhilde didn't say anything about the subject as it was a sore one for both of them.

"Hehehe, but it seems like you're still a short stack." Pandora said in a teasing manner.

"H-Hey, I'll have you know I've gotten much taller!" Goll said in a flustered tone.

"Oh really? It's hard to tell from all the way up here." Pandora said, raising her hand to her height level to make her point.

"I-I'm just a late bloomer! J-Just you wait… once I hit my growth spurt, I'll be as tall as Big Sister Brunhilde!" Goll said, raising her hand just as high and even used her tiptoes.

"You don't say? Then I guess we'll just have to wait and see." Pandora told her.

"Fufufu, indeed." Brunhilde said to the two. "It might be sooner than you think, Pandora. I was around the same height as Goll was when I was her age." She stated.

"Well now, that's interesting." Pandora said with a chuckle, the mood felt more light.

"B-But Big Sister, can the humans actually win against the Gods?" Goll asked Brunhilde. "Who do you think will be the representatives of the Council?"

"Good questions, there are a lot of strong and powerful fighters here in Heaven." Pandora said, rubbing her chin. "But if I were to take a guess on who would be the best first option to pick, my money would be one specific God." She said, holding up a finger.

"Indeed, there could only be one person fit to be the Vanguard of the Gods and the Council." Brunhilde agreed, having the same thought process.

"Yo, Brunhilde… Pandora." A sleazy punk incubus said, appearing before them. "That was quite the show you two put on, I don't know what you're planning but you two should be careful. The Gods are cruel and ruthless, especially members of the Council, they're all a bunch of self-centered I can protect you two if something bad happens." He told the two with a kind smile. "But that depends on your attitude." He said in a more perverted tone with a sadistic smile.

"Fat check, it will be a cold day in Hell before I get with you." Pandora said with a scoff. "Besides, I can take care of myself!" She proudly exclaimed.

"How cold…" The incubus said with a sigh. "What about you, Brunhilde?" He asked the Eldest Valkyrie. Brunhilde would kneel before the incubus and he started to huff and puff with lust as he believed she was letting him have his way with her. "Now that's the right attitude! I've had my eyes on you for a while, kihihihihi! I wonder what kind of noises the proud and mighty Brunhilde of the 13 Elites will make!" He said, getting ready to undo his pants.

"Poor fool." Pandora said, shaking her head.

"I wasn't kneeling for you." Brunhilde simply told him.

Before the Incubus had a chance to process what she was saying, the tip of the thick and large blade plunged through his chest, making him spat out blood and look down in shock before being picked up and slammed into the ground, head first! Causing blood, guts, bones, and other bodily matter and fluid to splatter everywhere, covering Brunhilde in the process but she remains stoic and continues to kneel.

"It has been quite a long time, Lord Tyr." Brunhide said to the Norse God of War and Monstrous Swordsman.

Tyr was a bit taller than his brother Thor and much bulkier than him, he also had long dark brown hair, a full beard, golden eyes with black sclera, and white skin. He was wearing a simple robe similar to his brothers but it came with a hoodie and black pants with golden metal boots, and a heavy duty golden gauntlet where his missing hand used to be and in his other hand was his famous sword, Dainself, the legendary blade that never misses its strikes.

"L-Lord Tyr!? As in the War God, Lord Tyr!?" Goll thought, now panicking and covered in sweat. "What is he doing here!? I need to kneel or else…!" She thought but Pandora put an arm on her shoulder to calm her down.

"Brunhilde… what are you planning?" Tyr asked Brunhilde.

"I have no idea what you mean, Lord Tyr." Brunhilde said in a calm but coy manner.

Then an untold amount of pressure was release and shook the very halls a bit, Brunhilde, Goll, and Pandora could feel the amount of pressure the Norse War God was given off and it made Goll tremble in place while Pandora put on a brave face but had a face covered in sweats, this continue for a bit longer before Tyr stopped.

"Hmph, if you say so." Tyr said, walking past them. "Just don't waste my time or else… I will kill you." He said seriously.

Goll fell to her knees and let out a sigh of relief, Pandora took a knee and wiped away the sweat, Brunhilde seemed to be calm despite the clear threat.

"I… I-I almost pissed myself!" Goll exclaimed. "Lord Tyr is way too scary." She whined.

"Definitely, that guy is even more intense than Thor." Pandora replied.

"You seem pretty calm yourself, Big Sister." Goll said to Brunhilde.

"I seem calm to you?" Brunhilde asked the youngest sister. "Good then." She said and she was anything but calm, actively trembling.

"B-Big Sister?" Goll said in worry.

"I'm fine…" Brunhilde assured and pulled out a tablet. "Let us hurry and sort out the most powerful human fighters." She said, getting up and continuing their walk.

"Got any ideas on who to send out first?" Pandora asked her.

"A-Any idea!?" Goll asked the two. "J-Just who could possibly stand up to Lord Tyr!? It's impossible! Who in all of Human History face him!?" She asked, not seeing who could face the likes of Tyr.

"Easy now, Goll." Pandora told her.

"Pandora is right. You must calm down, Goll." Brunhilde told her, stopping at a door and opening it, this was Brunhilde's room. "I have already decided on who our Vanguard for Humanity will be." She said, already making her choice. "It will be the Strongest, Most Feared, Most Barbaric, Most Savage Conqueror in all of China." She said, picking only one person with that type of claim.

"H-Huh!? H-Him!?" Geir shouted at her choice. "N-Not way! He's way too dangerous!"

"Wow, of all the conquerors you could have picked. You went with him." Pandora said with just as much surprise.

Meanwhile

Helheim, Hell, Netherworld, and Underworld, it had many names but it was a place where the souls of all sinners and truly wicked people are sent to be torture or guided. There lies a place where only the most vile, depraved, and sick are sent for only the greatest offensive to Heaven and the Gods, Tartarus.

A place that holds all kinds of prisoners and creatures, humans like Nostradamus, Sisyphus, Dante Alighieri. Gods like Asura, Lucifer, Tezcatlipoca and more. And even demonic or mythical creatures like Legion, Leviathan, Fenrir, Cipactli, and Typhon, etc.

Four figures could be seen, it was Zeus, Ra, Quetzalcoatl, and Shiva. After seeing the list of human fighters they other members of the Council of Valhalla vote to retrieve a few "wild cards" for the tournament, those like Quetzalcoatl and Izanagi voted against this but were outnumber so the Aztec God came to make sure the number of wild cards was short.

"I still believe this to be a bad idea." Quetzalcoatl stated.

"Even so it must be done." Ra told him. "The Council has already decided on it."

"As long as my brother remains here, I do not care who is picked." Quetzalcoatl said in a firm tone. "But no more than three, that is the limit the Council allowed."

"Yes yes, I already know who to pick." Zeus said, stopping at the door that looked extra secured.

"I'll go pick up the next one then, although I'm not too excited about getting him of all Gods." Shiva said seriously letting out a heavy sigh, walking off.

"I will retrieve the final one, he should be happy to be free of this place and continue his rampage of chaos." Ra said he was just as displeased with this as Shiva.

"I will remain with Zeus, just in case." Quetzalcoatl stated.

"How kind of you." Zeus said to the Aztec God.

"I distrust my brother but the being you plan to release is far worse than him." Quetzalcoatl told Zeus.

"Indeed but he is very strong, and as much as I love to join the fight. It has already been decided on which Council members would join." Zeus said with a gloomy sigh. "Quite a shame, I would have loved to feel the crunching of bones and splatter of blood on my fist." He stated.

"You're the same as always." Quetzalcoatl said with a heavy sigh.

Zeus opens the door and the two Gods enter the small room, within this room was a male Greek God with short green hair, teal eyes, and a slight tan skin, he was bound by over a dozen chains that wrapped around his body in a perfect cocoon of metal.

"Aaah, it sure has been a while…" The unknown Greek God said to Zeus. "Lord Zeus." He said with a sly smile.

"Indeed it has been, Dionysus." Zeus said to him.

"To what do I owe the pleasure of this visit?" Dionysus asked Zeus.

"I need you to fight…" Zeus said simply.

"Oh? And why would I do that?" Dionysus asked him with a sly smirk. "After all it was you that beat me within an inch of my life and sent me down here, your own son mind you. By the way how are Ares and Athena doing?" He asked in a taunting tone.

"Just fine…" Zeus answered but there was an undertone of seriousness. "And I figure you would want to join given that an old acquaintance of yours will be fighting against us." He said and showed a scroll that had the fighters for Humanity.

Dionysus saw Pandora's name and looked surprised but then a wide and angry smile would appear on his face and his muscle swelled up which made the chain strain against him a bit.

"I'm in." Dionysus answered.

"Good to hear." Zeus replied.

Back in Heaven, the preparation for Ragnarok was complete and now the battle would be held in the Arena of Valhalla, the seats were filled with humans and god alike on opposite sides, on the left was Humanity's side and on the right was Heaven's side. All Gods, Goddess, and Angels were present and ready as they waited for the coming slaughter to begin while Mankind could only hope for the best.

On the balcony of Humanity stood Brunhilde, Pandora, and Goll while on the balcony of Heaven were Zeus, Odin, Shiva, Ra, Izanagi, Yu Di, Perun, and Marduk.

This was it, this was where the best of Humanity and the best of Heaven would fight it out to the death to decide the fate of everything, whether Humanity's history lives on or if it gets annihilated by the Gods.

"This is it… time to show the Gods what Humanity is made of." Brunhilde said with a confident smile.

To Be Continued…

Here it is, my own take on the historical role of Record of Ragnarok and yes the backstory of the fighters will be different just like in the show and manga, it will also be a bit ridiculous but be within the realm of RCR's style so I hope you enjoy it.
