Darkvizardking69: I'm not going to mince words, if you read the title, saw the pairing, then you might know what nonsense may have started this one.
Lostbelt 6, otherwise known as Avalon le Fae. To all my fellow fgo players, you know damn well the sheer amount of disgusting shit that occurs and honestly I just felt this plot bunny spawn.
Now I know what some will say, that this content has been put for a couple years now, and it has. In Japan. I'm a NA player, so we got this relatively recently, and while I had heard it was messed up, just not to the sheer extent of what it was.
So, I suppose it's best to just get things underway, I hope you enjoy!
Fairies among the leaves.
Chapter 1: A royal introduction.
Most days, one could describe Naruto Uzumaki as a rather happy go lucky sort. However, this was not most days. Having just gotten past the second portion of the Chunnin exams, and being told that the next phase wouldn't be for a month it was time for those participating to prep for their matches.
And Naruto, being the optimistic one he was, went to his sensei to see if he could get any advice or training for handling Neji Hyuuga, Hinata's cousin and the genin's first match. The result, was less then expected.
-flashback-
The energetic blonde moved towards the hospital once they were cleared, thinking that if their sensei was anywhere, it would be here to check on Sasuke, who had his match earlier in the day and didn't return after near collapsing near the end.
Blue eyes widened in joy at seeing the rather lanky man, the shock of gray hair helping him stand out in a crowd. "Kakashi-sensei! Hey!"
The loud voice certainly caught the man's attention, but also the attention of the nurses and doctors, glaring at the boy when they thought he wasn't looking.
"Yes Naruto? You know you shouldn't be so loud, it is a hospital after all." He seemed to calmly read his book, the only visible part of his face, his right eye more focused on it.
"Sorry, listen I was hoping you'd have some advice or training routine for me to use for the month. If I'm fighting Neji in the finals I need to get myself ready." He looked sheepish as he spoke, toning his voice down a few notches out of respect for the people in the rooms.
Kakashi sighed, still nose deep in his book as he spoke in the same lazy tone he used. "If you want my advice? I would suggest just dropping out of the finals."
The happy look on the blonde's face was replaced with shock and hurt, not that Kakashi noticed as he wasn't looking. "Your chakra control is abysmal, the only reason you got past Kiba was quite frankly a fluke. There's no way you could possibly beat Neji, and I doubt a month would be enough time for you to get strong enough to do so. So quite honestly, you should just quit."
He turned to walk away, not noticing that his genin student was still standing there, still as a statue and it had some of the watchers laughing at seeing the 'demon child' being ridiculed by his sensei. He did hear something coming from the boy, a faint whisper he could only make out due to his honed senses.
"I see, so that's how it is then, fine. I hope you enjoy having your precious golden boy on the team, because I'm going to destroy him in the finals." A sense of unease filled the area, malice that could only be from the fox's chakra as his normally blue eyes were blood red. Kakashi felt his stomach drop, a sense of fear overriding his need to leave as he saw the blonde, a look of disgust and disappointment towards the man as he left with some parting words. "I bet my father would be disappointed with you."
Kakakshi froze in fear, wondering how the boy could possibly know when no one could have told him, that only left one option. "Naruto, whatever it might be telling you, you need to take it with a grain of salt it-"
He was cut off by the sound of laughing, the blonde in front of him laughing as if he just told a joke. "Really? You say that when they've been the most honest one here? Tell me, who did you give credit to for getting you out of Zabuza's water prison? Or who do you think saved Sasuke's ass when it came down to fighting Haku? Or how about the fact I had to save his ass against Orochimaru when he was shaking in fear?"
He let the moment go, seeing the narrowed eye of the man he should be calling sensei. "I'll see you later, 'sensei'. Maybe then you'll see that your so-called faith is misplaced." To add insult to injury, as Kakashi dismissed the words, a chain with a bladed end pierced through the book he was reading, tearing it in half.
The boy immediately sped off before Kakashi could say another word, turning a corner and vanishing into the crowd moments later. A harsh lesson for the man that tried to go after him that if he didn't want to be found, he wouldn't. Much to the amusement of the ANBU that had not only watched the interaction between the two but how frustrated their former commander was getting.
-flashback end-
To say Hiruzen Sarutobi was displeased would be an understatement. For one, one of his ninja, a boy he saw as his grandson had disappeared from the village's eyes since the preliminary rounds were over. He had thought to try and look for him with his crystal ball, only to get nothing but static. He then had some of his trusted ANBU check for his usual haunts, such as Ichiraku ramen, the Hokage monument, even his apartment, nothing. When he checked in with the jonin sensei to see if he came to them for any training, none of them spoke of seeing him at all.
To make matters worse, a giant flash of blue light made a tower outside the village. Despite the color being completely wrong, many of the civilians and some of the slightly older ninja believed that the Kyuubi was being unleashed on the village. This caused quite a panic among the population but at the same time, great confusion for those that were in the village for the exams.
Nothing had occurred afterwards however, despite how tense things had gotten since in the village. Sarutobi was both anxious for his village but very confused, as any ninja that went to the area found nothing but the destroyed site of what looked to be a summoning, a circle in place but far too faded to show any details, the kanji, if it could be called as such was either too destroyed or just unreadable.
The next day, the strangest things began to occur.
A letter was found on his desk, with what looked like a black dog sitting in front of the desk waiting for him. It had blue flames for eyes, chains drifting off of it's neck.
"Well, aren't you curious, who sent you? You don't look like one of Kakashi's hounds."
The dog seemed to growl at the name, before motioning it's head towards the scroll.
Sarutobi, merely kept his eye on the beast, the ANBU in the room doing the same, as while it wasn't common, he had received letters via a summoned animal before. As he opened the scroll, he saw it had an odd marking, the Uzumaki swirl with what looked like a lance going down the middle as a wax seal.
To the Lord Kage of this land.
This letter is a courtesy to inform you that the young man, Naruto Uzumaki, will not only be training outside of the village for the remainder of the time required prior to the finals of his exams, but that he will do so without the interference of the populace. My daughters and I will ensure that by the time you see him in the arena, not only will he be ready to face his opponent, but those he will face after him. He's looking forward to seeing you again, and asks that you check to ensure Hatake has been truthful in his reports regarding himself and a certain Uchiha. As well as asks to ensure his parent's home will be ready by the time he returns.
Until we meet in person,
Morgan Le fey, Black queen of the fairies.
Sarutobi reread the letter multiple times, ensuring each word was memorized before putting it down. "I don't suppose you're here to await a response?"
The dog barked, still looking his way before vanishing in a flash of blue fire.
"I suppose not."
After that rather odd, could it be called a meeting other things happened throughout the month. Firstly, the Oto kunoichi that was being hospitalized vanished, nurses finding bodies in her room, the cause of death being large holes in their chests as if stabbed into. The odd part was the incident couldn't have happened more than mere minutes before the bodies were found, their headbands showing the musical note of the village, but none of the bodies were of the girl's teammates or sensei, though the one that lost his arm in his match was also gone, as well as the body of the final teammate, Dosu Kinuta, showing up on a rooftop one morning. He looked to have been crushed to death, sand in some of his wounds.
Secondly, Jiraiya returned, wondering where Naruto was and even was willing to join in the search before Hiruzen told him to stand down.
-flashback-
"The hell do you mean stand down? Not only has he disappeared, last I checked my godson is in the finals and he needs training. Kakashi's reports make it sound like he needs it." Jiraiya was scowling, not liking the idea that he was being stonewalled.
"First off, if you bothered to actually be here for the boy I might actually agree with you. You run our information network but you spend enough time researching your book that you could use it here. Second, I've gone over Kakashi's reports and double checked it with the clients. There's inconsistencies with the reports, downplaying Naruto's achievements, most grossly in the mission to Wave."
Jiraiya looked wide eyed at that. "What? You're telling me that Kakashi Hatake, my student's last living student is trying to screw over Naruto?"
"It's possible. Witnesses claim that the two got into an altercation at the hospital, it nearly coming to blows before Naruto ran off. We've had strange occurrences in the village since, and I was wondering if you had heard of this name." He handed the letter over to Jiraiya, who started to not only read it over but look at the wax seal.
"Can't say I ever have, but if the kid is in the hands of this woman and her daughters, she's either crazy or strong. She sounds confident that she'll train the kid up at least." He handed the letter back, looking a bit pale. "Tell me, who told the kid about his parents?"
Hiruzen scowled as he folded the letter. "Kakashi thinks the Kyuubi may have told him, and giving it's history with his parents I wouldn't be surprised. If he wasn't busy training Sasuke for the exams I would have him punished for playing favorites when I expressly told him to be fair to his students."
"That's not good, if they're in communication then who knows what it might be saying in the kid's ear. If we can't find him we'll have to hope and pray he's still friendly to the village."
"That's just it Jiraiya, I doubt he would be after what this place has done."
-flashback end-
Sarutobi sighed as he sat within the kage box, wondering just what sort of person the queen was, and the idea of her training Naruto had him curious and worried.
"Excuse me, you must be lord Hiruzen Sarutobi, yes?"
The sound of a woman's voice broke him from his thoughts, turning in his seat to see a stunning woman in dark robes approaching. Her pale blonde, nearly white hair put the Yamanaka clan to shame, and her outfit, while tailored to the age they were in still was mostly black but accented with gold and blue lines. "Apologies, but my beloved said this would be where you'd be to oversee these final matches. May I join you?"
Her voice seemed stoic, yet was more towards calm as Hiruzen nodded, noting the rather large woman in what looked to be mostly full plate armor, the small amount of exposed thigh and waist giving away gender. "Any friend of young Naruto is welcome to join me. I take it you must be Queen Morgan, yes?"
The woman in armor seemed to growl as he got closer in greeting, the woman merely needing to speak. "Barghest, do behave, this is someone the master holds in high esteem, we will show all courtesy, do you understand?"
"Yes mother. There is another person approaching, bringing their own guard." She seemed to turn towards the approaching Kazekage, Morgan feeling the malice that was coming towards them, as well as the fact that they were all disguised.
'Do not act unless I tell you, understand?'
'Yes mother.'
Hiruzen was still finding it odd that these two were apparently mother and daughter, Morgan couldn't look any more than her twenties at the very least. But he had to greet his guest. "Rasa, I'm glad you could make the trip."
"Of course, though I'd be more worried if it was the other way around, I don't know how well you could handle the desert in your age. Still haven't thought of a successor yet?" His voice seemed relaxed, though the barb about his age had made Hiruzen curious.
"I'm afraid not yet, I may be doing so after these exams, my age is rather catching up with me." He gave a good natured laugh, Morgan only mildly listening to their conversation as she was focused on another.
'Are you ready, beloved? Your match will be starting soon, and the other participants are assembling.'
'I will be, just be safe up there, if Kin-chan is right about Orochimaru and his plans, he would be right next to you.'
'I can verify that he is, from what I saw in your memories his malice is unmistakable.'
'Please, keep the old man safe. I know you and Barghest are strong, but that won't stop me from worrying.'
Both herself and the woman behind her felt warmth from him, knowing he worried for them despite their strength was sweet. But he didn't need to worry.
After all, Servants were always stronger than most humans.
—
Naruto hummed to himself as he watched the arena start to fill in with the stands. He could see Morgan meeting the old man, remembering just how he met this woman and the change in his life that came all from a little scroll.
-flashback: month prior-
Naruto was still fuming from his 'conversation' with Kakashi, running to his apartment and away from the prying eyes of people. He sighs as he closes his front door, stopping as he sees a scroll sitting on his kitchen table. It looked to be black, red embroidery and was sitting on the table as if nothing else was touched. A hand reached for his kunai pouch as he approached the table, wondering if any of the more foolish villagers broke in again.
Nothing seemed to occur as he picked up the scroll, opening it slowly with the help of a clone, the paper facing away in case of any paper bombs attached. Thankfully nothing exploded as he started to read. It looked to contain the seals for the summoning technique, as well as a note.
If you're looking for some loyal allies, perhaps this will help. A word of warning, you might want to find a more private and yet open place to do this. And trust my word, they may seem strange but they will be your greatest and most loyal allies.
Your friend from afar,
Z
There was no reason to trust this, but the idea of having people that he could trust was far too tempting. Not many people he could count in this village he could trust or be around consistently. The Ichiraku were kind people but he didn't want to affect their business. The old man was usually waist deep in paperwork and barely had time for his own son and grandson. He couldn't think to try and add to it.
He knew of some of the lesser used training grounds, the forest of death immediately coming to mind as a good place. If for no other reason then to be away from the village in case something went wrong.
He may not like the people of the village, but he wasn't going to give them an excuse to blame something else on him.
Once he got past the fence for the training ground, finding a clearing was simple enough. Due to the exams, plenty of places were still being cleared out and he found a spot that would be perfect.
He started the seals as he had seen Kakashi doing once before, but as he placed his hand down seals started to spread along the ground, forming a large circle. Once it fully formed it glowed a bright red, a large flash of blue light making a tower that broke past the canopy.
(Void between worlds)
Zeltrich was a relatively simple man, he enjoyed the time he spent in his immortal life watching the various people and timelines as if they were videos in a modern setting. As he shifted through the various screens he saw two in particular. One depicting Naruto in his current world, and another showing a certain lostbelt.
Zeltrich couldn't help but look in disgust at the fairies that inhabited it, how they turned on the queen and her knights who seemed to just wished to keep order in the realm.
"Such an unfitting fate for these ladies, perhaps a second chance is in order. If this young man can change the hearts of his enemies into allies, then perhaps he can warm the icy heart of this queen." He grinned as he placed the scroll on the table, waiting for it to be opened. His modified summons would bring the fairy court to this new world, and he was very interested to see how things would change because of it.
(Naruto's dimension)
The blue flash died down slowly, the click of heels on the dirt as the kanji slowly burned away.
"I didn't expect this, to think I would be summoned."
"Mother, is that you? I can hear you! What a wondrous day!"
"What happened, I remember hurting, my vision going dark, and now we're here!"
"Ladies, my sweet daughters, I do believe this young man is to be our master. We should introduce ourselves."
Naruto was staring wide eyed at the group of four that materialized in front of him, one of them looking like a young woman his age in blue and white, her silver hair going down her back and her azure armor had light blue lines along the edges.
The second looked to be a young adult, her crimson hair flowing down her back as well, but her dress had splashes of red and white to it, her eyes having a sadistic gleam that immediately made him think of Anko, the woman from the exams.
The third seemed taller than the others, her flowing blonde hair reaching her waist. The only way he could tell it was a her was due to her waist and figure under the armor she was wearing.
Though the one that made his breath stop was the woman in the middle, her pale blonde hair framing her face as she looked to the young man.
"Greeting young master, I am Queen Morgan Le fay, Berserker class Servant and these ladies are both my daughters and my knights."
The tallest bowed, still at least twice his height. "I am Barghest, Saber class Servant, it is an honor to meet you."
The redhead glanced away, but a glare from Morgan made her freeze. "I am Baobahn Sith, Archer class Servant."
The shortest merely shook her head at how stubborn her sister was. "I'm Melusine, Lancer class Servant.' Her visor then slid away, a sly smirk on her face. 'I must say mother, we must have been summoned by quite the man to handle the strain of each of us, but he's barely reacting to the pain of the command seals."
Naruto looked to his hand, a large red batch of markings were searing themselves to the back of his hand, looking close to a large coat of arms, the seals spreading along his arm.
"Guessing these would be those command seals? Just, what are you?"
Morgan stepped forward, her stride confident as she cupped his cheek. "We are your servants master, for us to fight on your behalf. Now then, I believe a contract must be sealed yes?" He had a moment before she pulled him into a kiss, getting a startled cry from him and the women behind them.
Since that day it was a majority of non stop training, Morgan instructing them to help him get his skills up to par. It was during this time he started to figure out their, quirks, as it were.
Melusine, for as sly as she was, liked to try and flirt, sometimes even in mid combat. At night however, he had found her curled up against him in bed, holding onto him.
Morgan thought it was cute of her to do so, especially when considering the first time she was caught was when Morgan was coming to wake him up, as she saw the extra mass in the bed next to him.
At least it gave the teen something to tease her about.
For Barghest, she fought like a beast with a flaming sword at her side but despite that, she still seemed the type to follow her orders to the letter. Whenever Morgan spoke she listened. Even the chains she employed in combat gave the feeling of being a beast, like they were a leash around her neck.
As for Baobahn Sith, he was right to think her a sadist, someone that reveled in the agony of others but at the same time, he could tell she was putting on airs, as if it was something she had to do, not want.
A majority of the training was for both physical improvement, something Barghest was easily able to help with, and even Melusine was joining in on the 'fun' at times.
Halfway through the time they spent, Morgan took his measurements for something, only giving a vague 'Its for a gift, I'll explain once I finish.' She left them back to their sparring, using the measurements for crafting Mystic codes. Specifically those of clothing, enchanted for protection and ease of movement.
With the three 'knights', they had argued over what to train him in weapon wise, as Morgan would help with more advanced weapon training once she felt he could handle it, but that would be for after the exams.
Back to the argument, each servant was trying to say he should train in the class they specialized in. However, a slam of Morgan's staff made them stop, the woman looking at them. "Quit acting like children, if you can't help but argue, do it in equal measure. I have an idea for
something." She stepped back into their temporary home, what she made as a temporary workshop during their time within the training grounds.
-flashback ends-
To say that Morgan found an interesting compromise to their issue was an understatement. Just thinking of the woman had his heart racing, from the moment he met her, she kissed him, called him her husband and was very adamant of that fact. It was nice to have her attention, especially when his life was filled with being ignored, as if the village wanted to deny the fact he existed unless it was to mock him.
She came off as cold, but that was hiding the caring mother she was, the airs of a queen were still there but as they told him they once tried to bring order to a chaotic realm of fairies. The ending to their reign wasn't, pleasant.
The rebellion only caused the fairies to ruin themselves, their cruel nature coming out in mass.
As the month progressed, he saw their final moments as the memories were shared through dreams. As he saw their worst, they saw his.
The cruelty of the village, the fairies and their treatment of humans, the shared pain had started their bond. And now, the fruits of the training will be shown to the ones that would ridicule them.
(Within the arena)
Genma sighed as he saw the participants lined up, minus three that should be there. One, Dosu was found dead so that explained his absence. Sasuke Uchiha and Naruto Uzumaki on the other hand were a mystery. One was being trained by Kakashi so he honestly had little faith that the boy would arrive on time, but the Uzumaki boy he heard was rather excited to fight today. So seeing him not being there was odd, but when he looked to his Kage all he got was a reassuring nod, and also seeing the woman that was beside him.
He knew if Jiraiya was next to the old man he'd be drooling over her right now, but he was off securing the perimeter of the arena to watch for anything Orochimaru may do.
As he checked the time, he was giving one last look to Hiruzen before he started to speak. "Alright, as you all know, it's time for the final rounds of the annual Chunnin exams to begin, I would like for all contests except for Naruto Uzumaki and Neji Hyuuga to move to the competitor's box."
Neji had a smug look on his face as he watched the others leave the field, the sand siblings looking to their younger brother who seemed to have a distant look on his face.
(In the stands)
The genin that had lost their matches watched together, two in particular were talking without realizing that the jonin were watching over them.
"Of course that idiot would be late, all that talk about fighting and he still shows up late." Sakura looked down at the field, a look of both disappointment yet treating it as if something to be expected. "And he did that whole dramatic speech about avenging Hinata too."
Ino, who was sitting beside her gave her a side glance. "Sakura I know Naruto hasn't been the best but he's still your teammate, maybe have a little faith sometime."
"Please, that idiot is just going to mess things up, he's always been getting in the way."
Ino narrowed her eyes at her. "Seriously Sakura?"
Unbeknownst to them, a pair of women, one with silver hair and one with red hair were watching, Anko looking down at the genin and hearing their conversation as they weren't exactly subtle about it. "I swear that little brat, at least the kid won his match, unlike her."
"I know right? To think master had a crush on such a little bitch like her. But it doesn't matter, mother won't let him tolerate anything of hers."
She looked surprised at the sound of the voice, a hand nearly reaching for the kunai pouch as the silver haired girl looked her way, giving her a wink as she whispered. "You might want to watch the show, he'll be here shortly."
The red haired girl, she smiled as she tapped her shoulder. "She's right, it's going to be delicious."
Anko looked very confused, but stared down at the field, seeing what looked like a figure in a long black coat, a zipper down the front and a chain connecting the sides of the hood, dark blue runes etched into the fabric. 1*
(Arena floor)
Neji watched as the figure approached, the hood pulled up to prevent anyone seeing the face. "I don't know who you are but let me guess, did that fool send you to say he wasn't coming?" He glared at the figure, the veins bulging around his eyes to show use of the Byakugan. His eyes grew wide as he couldn't see what was beyond the hood.
The figure shook it's head, holding up a hand, the black gloves showing from under the sleeves, also having a symbol on each glove. "I'm going to give you one chance Hyuuga, forfeit now and save yourself the embarrassment of what's to come."
Neji look infuriated by that, the words he told to Hinata before their match being thrown back at him. "You dare think to speak to a member of the Hyuuga clan in such a manner?"
"Of course I do, after all I was thinking to take you down and make sure to keep a couple promises." A hand reached for the hood, pulling it down to show Naruto, his hair having grown out a little bit as he grinned despite that boos that the crowd started to throw out. "Besides, there's a lady in the audience, several in fact I don't want to embarrass. You? Oh don't get me wrong I've been eagerly awaiting this." He held out a hand, a burst of blue fire collecting in his hand and forming a sword. The blade looked black with blue runes etched into it, the handle having looked to be made for wielding one handed.
In the Kage booth Morgan allowed herself to smile at the sight of it. Hiruzen looking curious. "I never took him to use a weapon before, I take it that was your influence?"
"You'd be correct, after all it's only proper for a wife to give her beloved a wedding gift. When I saw his training was progressing well, I crafted it and the coat for him to have. I think it goes well." There was still the look of pride in her eyes, Barghest smirking behind her helmet as she whispered to him. 'Kick his ass master.'
Naruto smirked as he looked up at the box, looking right towards Morgan as Genma called out to him. "You two set to start I take it?"
Neji looked furious at his opponent. "Yes, let's get on with this farce."
"For once I can actually agree with you. The sooner we start the sooner I end it."
Genma bit back a scowl, knowing the kid didn't seem to be ruthless or overconfident. It was as if it was simply a fact. "Alright then, let the first match begin!"
Neji immediately charged forward thinking to end the match fast. At the speed he was going, most of the genin watching thought it was fast, but to those that were jonin and higher it was at least impressive. For Naruto, it looked slow compared to the beast of a woman he trained against.
Neji grinned in victory as he struck dead center, a jyuken strike at the heart as the crowd cheered to the confusion of the genin and disgust of some of the jonin.
Sakura looked almost relieved as she saw the impact. "All that talk for nothing I guess?"
Ino shook her head. "No, I don't think so."
"Beloved, why are you just standing around? There's no need to simply indulge in this farce." The voice of Morgan cut through the crowds cheers, her tone still as calm as ever.
Neji looked in horror as his wrist was grabbed, a red eye looking at him with the supposed dead man grinning at him. "Well well, guess I was right. They aren't cheering for you Hyuuga. Hell, the only reason anyone is right now is because it's against me." He pulled Neji in, the sword shifting form and turning into a shield, it smashing into his face with the edge as what looked like a chain wrapped around the held wrist, it coming from his sleeve.
"You talk about how great your clan is, how fate can't be broken. But I call bullshit!" He yanked him back, the chain helping to reel Neji in as the shield smashed into his front.
The chain vanished as Neji was launched back, skidding to his feet as he stared wide eyed at the weapon, seeing it shift into a black spear. "What the hell is that thing!?"
A shout from the stands from an energetic Tenten "I WANT THAT!" 2*
"A gift from someone who showed faith in me, and I'll be damned to actually let her down." He glanced at the Kage box, Morgan watching intently.
Neji followed his line of sight, seeing the pale haired woman, her icy stare sending a shiver down his spine. "So that explains it, you can't get stronger on your own so you cling to someone else. That's pathetic. I don't know what you're doing to prevent my Jyuken, but I'll be sure to break you, and make sure Hinata-sama sees what a failure you really are, just like she is."
Naruto narrowed his eyes, the spear pointed towards Neji. "That's just something you'll have to figure out now won't you? But come on then, unless you want to talk all day!"
Neji looked infuriated by how cocky he seemed to be, charging in as he ducked around the spear, trying to get within reach, but each time it would seem he twirled it, the butt of the spear having a blade on the end.
Tenten moved to where Sakura and Ino were sitting, stars in her eyes. "Okay, I have to know, where did he get that!?"
Sakura shrank back a bit, seeing her usually idiotic teammate doing so well against the former rookie of the year was messing with her mind. "I don't know, he never had it before."
Tenten glanced down as she stared at the weapon, seeing it shift mid swing into the sword, fire burning off of the edge that had Neji ducking down. "But where would you find a weapon like that?"
"That was a gift, as he said. Mother was very particular about making sure he had something suitable." The silver haired girl moved closer, her red haired 'sister' joining her as they kept their eyes forward, focused on the fight below.
Tenten gave her a curious look. "So, she made that? That's incredible, making a weapon that strong must have taken her some time."
Melusine merely chuckled. "Actually that only took her a week to make, same with his outfit. When she sets her mind to something she will not stop until she finishes it."
Baobahn seemed to have a gleam in her eye as she watched, licking her lips at the sight of every cut Neji was getting, the flames searing the cuts closed just as quickly. "It's a tool fitting of our master, after all he told us he wanted to be strong, so that's what we did."
Sakura seemed unconvinced. "He's still the same idiot. If he thinks this will get me to notice him he's delusional."
Melusine scowled, her eyes looking at Sakura, a glance up and down that Ino caught. "You know it's a shame. You'd actually be pretty if you weren't such a bitch."
The genin around them seemed to freeze, some covering their mouths to prevent themselves from laughing as Sakura turned, glaring at the silver haired girl. "What did you just say?"
Baobahn sighed as she pulled her sister away. "Come on, there's no need to waste time with such a weakling. I want to watch master fight."
Sakura stood up, irritation on her face before what felt like killing intent slammed down at her. Her eyes glanced at the source, seeing the proctor from their second exam staring her down. "Why don't you sit down and shut up, some of us are trying to actually enjoy ourselves a bit here. Besides, last I checked you're stuck in the loser's seat among the genin, so don't get all high and mighty."
The younger girl bit back what she would have said, seeing some of the other jonin glaring her way.
In the arena, Neji was desperate to try and land a hit that would work, his mind racing to look for an answer. But even with his eyes active he could only see a faint outline, the cloak seemingly a void to his senses. "What the hell is that cloak? How is the Jyuken not working on you!?"
He suffered a kick to the abdomen for his question, Naruto staring him down as the blade in his hand ignited, pointed at his neck. "Why should I tell you anything? I doubt you even trained in anything but your clan techniques, have you?"
At his grimace, Naruto merely sighed. "That's pathetic. I had a month to figure you out, to figure you all out, and if any other match ends up like this, I'll be very disappointed. Now, will you concede? Or do i have to keep giving you the lesson you clearly need?"
Neji scowled as he looked at the blade, the blue fire inches from his skin. "Let me guess, that main branch bitch is trying to show me pity isn't she!? Like she has any right after what she did!"
"What she did? You besides be kind to a piece of shit like you? The only waste is breath in trying to make you see reason."
"If she wasn't so weak my father would still be alive!"
"You mean from the incident with that Kumo nin? Did you really think a small child could fight an adult? Don't delude yourself, you're just hoping to dump your problem on someone else."
Hiashi looked ashamed as he sat in his seat, Hanabi his daughter looking transfixed at the fight. From the way the elders were talking throughout the month, they expected Neji to win handily, but now he was on the ground, the one her sister constantly talked about standing over him. A glint of interest in her eyes as she watched.
"I visited her you know, in the hospital. I wanted to know why you hated her so much, and she told me everything.' His gaze was ice cold as he stared down at Neji, the sword inches from his neck. 'I could say I sympathize with you and your loss, but unlike you I didn't get to know my parents, my family." He glanced up at the crowd. "To think my father gave his life for these people, it disgusts me to hear them like this."
Neji looked confused, not expecting the sword to shift into the shield, a backhand with it knocking him out cold from the force of it. "Genma-san, I believe that's the end of it yes?"
The proctor dropped down onto the field, nodding as he called for the medics to take Neji to the infirmary. "Winner of the first match by knockout, Naruto Uzumaki!"
The crowd seemed stunned, Anko being the first to start clapping and cheering, some of the jonin were joining in.
Genma smiled as he whispered to Naruto. "Not bad at all kid, if you ask me, I think you did Kushina-sama proud."
Naruto couldn't help but smile at that. "Thanks Genma-san, I suppose we'll see if Hatake will have his bad tendency to rub off on one student won't we? Though, after all this, I'd like to hear about her, if you don't mind."
"Sure kid, I'd be happy to. Hell, I'll see if some of the other jonin wouldn't mind if you join us for drinks at some point."
"Sounds like a plan to me." He kept that smile even as he passed the walking cloud of malice that was Gaara, a scent catching his nose. "Feeding already little brother?"
Gaara scowled as he stopped. "Why do you call me that? You're no brother of mine."
"By blood? No, by burden? Yes." He glanced at the redhead, a red slitted eye that had Shukaku screaming.
"I see, perhaps you'll be my greatest challenge yet."
"That's to be determined. Now l suppose if you're done making splatter on the walls of my village, you have a match to attend to, but I wouldn't expect much of it."
The surly redhead said nothing, heading out to the arena floor as Naruto headed for the contestants box, Morgan being the first to hear from.
'A magnificent showing beloved, I take it the mystic code served you well?'
'Oh yes it did, the look on his face when he couldn't use his precious technique was priceless. Weaving the seals to form a chakra barrier into this outfit was a brilliant idea.'
'i was inspired by the culture of your people, they apparently used seals as their main form of technique, so why not use them?'
He could hear Baobahn and Melusine as he got to the box, seeing them in the stands adding to his amusement. 'Honestly master, how did you deal with this bitch of a teammate? She acts like you cheated to win that fight.'
He sighed as he sat down, hearing the roar of the crowd as Sasuke apparently hadn't shown up yet. 'She's stuck in her own fantasy, just ignore her. She's not worth the time. Not when I have all of you in my life.'
Each of the servants around the arena had to fight back a blush from his words. Barghest at least was hiding behind her helmet. 'Thank you master, it's our honor to be by your side.'
Morgan could hear faintly that Hiruzen was having an issue with the lateness Sasuke was showing, the 'kazekage' suggesting postponing the match. "If the boy can't be here on time for something this important, how could he be trusted to handle a proper mission? No doubt if anyone else were late like this they would be disqualified."
Orochimaru seethed beneath his disguise, seeing that her words were getting an agreement from the old Kage. "She's right, as of now he has ten minutes to arrive, if he doesn't by the end of that time he will be disqualified.' He turned to the jonin that addressed him. 'Tell Genma, if there's a problem with it I'll handle it personally."
Morgan hid a smirk as she leaned in her seat. 'i believe the Uchiha will be quite upset at your 'sensei' if he causes him to lose this match.'
'Oh absolutely, just more ways to show how he's a failure.'
He felt eyes on him, no doubt the other participants were looking him over, trying to figure out his secret. That caused him to smirk, remembering that the magus of Morgan's world would pull the same thing. He could hear the booing of the crowd at the announcement.
He was surprised to see Temari approaching him, taking a seat. "Be honest, how likely is it that he's not going to show?"
"If my so called sensei has any input, very unlikely until either the last minute or at the worst possible time."
Temari could feel the venom in his voice when it came to the jonin of his team. "You don't have alot of respect for him do you?"
"When his advice was for me to simply quit the exams? No I don't. If he didn't think we were ready he shouldn't have entered us in the first place. Hell, I bet the only reason he bothered was to show off his little golden boy." Despite his words, he held no anger towards the Uchiha, his tenant might due to a grudge it had against the clan, but as far as Naruto was concerned, the problem was with their teacher playing favorites.
Temari looked disgusted at the notion. "That's unfortunate. Suppose I should get ready for my match sooner than I thought, don't you think?"
Naruto couldn't help but smirk. "That would be a good idea, I'd give advice but I think you've already got a plan of action don't you? You seem like the brains of your team."
"What, not going to call me the good looks?"
"See I would do that, but why state the obvious?"
Temari chuckled at that. "You sure aren't the little shrimp from the first few rounds are you? It's impressive."
"I like to thank a very good woman for that."
Morgan could see them from the box, a smile on her face at the thought of her husband interacting with people. While most would think she'd be jealous, on the contrary, as a Servant she knew her body was largely that of a spirit. Meaning in terms of 'wifely duties' she couldn't help with the restoration of his clan, but as long as it was understood who was in charge, the idea of 'concubines' wasn't off the table. After all, Morgan was and still very much held herself to the idea of being a queen. If it meant becoming head wife, she would be more then happy to ensure those he chose would know their place.
Hiruzen glanced at her. "Something on your mind your excellency?"
"Just thinking, there's still a little time for it later, after everything is over." The glance she gave back was 'When it happens, you have my support.'
Hiruzen nodded, a bit of relief though that changed when a pair of wooden sandals clacked. "Honestly sensei, if you told me you had such wonderful company I would have gotten here sooner."
Barghest glared at him from behind his helmet, a hand towards her sword but Morgan tapped her staff. "If it takes a beautiful woman for you to get anything done properly, then I weep for anyone you have to work with."
Jiraiya flinched hearing the tone of voice. "Now I don't think you have to say that, I can certainly get a lot done."
"What you do on your off time is none of my concern. I'm only here on behalf of my darling husband, and I don't want to cause a scene by getting rid of a filthy lecher." Her glare was worse than anything even Tsunade sent his way after she caught him at the bathhouses when they were genin.
"R-right, so, how did the first match go? I wasn't able to have a clone stationed here."
Hiruzen smirked as he whispered to him. "It went well, Minato and Kushina would have been proud."
Jiraiya nodded quietly, turning to the arena as Orochimaru seethed, wondering what other complications would arise today.
With the genin, Sakura looked upset as the clock seemed to tick closer to Sasuke being disqualified, still no sign of either him or Kakashi. Anko was growing more irritated with her voice. "I swear to kami shut the hell up, if you're going to blame anyone blame Kakashi! His tardy ass can never show up when he's needed."
Whispers among the crowd seemed to reflect negatively about the last match, no doubt those that had bet on the 'favorite' having lost quite a bit of money due to the upset victory.
Gaara was waiting on the arena floor, the time running out as Genma sighed. "Due to the fact of his failure to arrive, Sasuke Uchiha will be disqualified from his match. Winner by forfeit, Sabaku no Gaara."
Loud boos rang out through the stands, Sakura being one of the loudest. Temari and Gaara glancing at Naruto who merely nodded, shrugging his shoulders as if to say 'I did warn you both.'
Kankuro who was watching all of this sighed, knowing full well things were going to get complicated. Hearing the match about to be called and Shino moving to head down to the ring, Kankuro shouted out. "I forfeit!"
This caused more of an upset from people, those wanting to see at least a fight as Shikamaru, who had until now been lazing in the corner groaned at having to get up and fight. That was until a gloved hand grabbed him by the back of his jacket. "Come on now! A gentleman shouldn't keep a lady waiting!"
The lazy genius felt himself being launched down to the area, landing on his back as he saw the grinning face of Naruto peering down from the waiting room. "You're a real troublesome bastard, you know that!?"
"And you're welcome! Why not go give the people a show!" That grin didn't waver, even as he leaned back, a mental connection coming through. 'How are you girls enjoying the village? I know the people aren't exactly much to speak of.'
Melusine was watching the match, more looking at Temari as the match began. 'Some of the girls here are rather attractive, and seems even the foreign girls aren't anything to sneeze at either.'
Baobahn sighed as she could see where her fellow knight's eyes were looking. "Honestly, you truly are giving your gifted name a run for their money. Acting just like them."
Melusine merely smirked, looking down at the next match as it began.

Darkvizardking69: And so we have this first piece, I was trying to figure where to end it on as a lot of points seemed like good ones but for now, we have a bit of a tide turning, this will be a bit on the darker side later on, this is still involving Morgan after all.
1* Yes, this is an altered version of the organization 13 coat, I just love the design of it and it works as a mystic code. And with her having a Ex rank Item construction, making a cloak that has a barrier fueled by 'mana' wouldn't be out of the realm of possibilities. It can't tank something extreme without being very chakra extensive but for something like the small bursts the Jyuken use it's negligible.
2* I couldn't help but give a small reference, and if anyone would give that kind of reaction it would be the weapon nut.
But as we have it now, we have ourselves a good kick off. Next time will finish off the finals properly, and of course we have our canon event coming in. Though, how will a snake handle being targeted by the berserker queen? Oh I believe this is going to get interesting.
