"Hey Mum, are you and Dad going somewhere?" Bingo asked.

Chilli was wearing a bright red sparkling dress she would wear on very special occasions, and Bandit was wearing a blue tux to match.

Bandit swooped in a spun Chilli around like a top. "Well, your Mum and I decided to have a special date."

Chilli who was still recovering from his husband's sudden spin replied "Yes and we were hoping you kids can handle yourselves while we're gone."

Bingo rolled her eyes, "I think a pair of teenagers can handle themselves alone."

Chilli and Bandit are excited for their alone time after a long while. And of course, they deserve all the time for each other. Taking care of two pups for years wasn't easy. Bingo could say that since she knew that she and Bluey weren't exactly the easiest children to handle.

"Well, if you're hungry, there's leftovers in the fridge!" Said Chilli before they headed for the door. "And don't invite anyone we haven't met." Bandit jokingly said.

"Alright you two, go have your fun," Bingo said, slowly pushing the married couple out the door.

"Be sure to get a good smoochy kiss to remember," Bingo said before closing the door.

Bingo walked to the living room and she heard a shout outside, "Hah! Always!" She chuckled at her Dad's funny antics. It always comforts her when she feels low.

Bingo decided to spend the rest of the night watching Television. There wasn't much on other than a kids' show. Something about ponies.

Bluey would then hear the Television being on for a couple of hours before she decided to see what Bingo was doing. She went towards the stairs to see Bingo half asleep on the couch watching that random show.

"Bingo, are you still there?" Bluey asked from the top of the stairs.

Her voice woke Bingo up. Bingo jumped up in curiosity and shock. Bluey hasn't had a proper conversation with her for a while now. She seemed off, but she never thought past that.

"Finally talking to me? What changed?" Bingo questioned.

"What? I can't talk to my only sister?" Bluey answered. "Well, if I'm not welcome, I can just go back to my room." She said walking away.

Bingo couldn't believe it, She had a chance to talk to her again, she couldn't let it slip away like this. She had to know what was wrong. All Bingo wanted was her sister back.

Bingo ran up the stairs to see Bluey at the end of the hallway.

"Wait! We can talk!" Bluey was skeptical, "Please, let's talk." Bingo said, breathing heavily.

"Fine, let's talk," Bluey commented.

They were both in the room they had shared since they were little, but Bluey hadn't been in the room for years now. Only now when they had an actual one on one talk. She wasn't sure what caused this but she was determined to find out.

None of them had said a word since sitting down, the silence was deafening. Not even a little peep. After a full minute of silence, Bluey decided to draw first blood.

"You know, it's funny how you've always managed to excel in everything you do. It's like you've become the golden child, the one who's effortlessly stealing the spotlight. Did you ever stop to think how hard it's been for me, huh? I've struggled, I've fought, all to set an example for you, to make sure you don't feel the way I did. And what do I get in return? You thrive while I'm left in the shadows."

Bingo was on the brink of crying, her voice trembled as she spoke. "I never asked for any of this, you know? I've always looked up to you and admired you. But you've been so distant, so cold. I thought we were supposed to be a team, to have each other's backs. Yet, every time I reached out, you pushed me away. I wanted you to be there for me, to guide me, not resent my successes."

Bluey gave out a laugh, "Oh, so now it's my fault, huh? I've been dealing with my own problems, and battling my own insecurities, and you parade around with your achievements. Do you know what it feels like to have your own sister outshine you in every aspect of life?

Bingo began tearing up, "I didn't mean to make you feel that way. I just wanted us to be close again like we used to. I missed our late-night talks, our inside jokes, and the bond we had. But you were so closed off, so determined to hide your struggles. I thought maybe if I achieved things, you'd notice me again.

Bluey stood up and turned towards the door. "Well, congratulations, mission accomplished. You got my attention, but not in the way you wanted. I've watched you win awards, and get praised by everyone, and I couldn't help but feel jealous. Jealous that you were effortlessly succeeding while I felt like I was drowning."

Bingo felt that maybe this was all her fault, her voice breaking as she spoke. "I never meant for any of this to come between us. I looked up to you, not because of your accomplishments, but because you were my sister."

Bluey held the door knob of the room they used to share. She stood there in silence before turning to face Bingo. "You know what? Screw you. Don't ever talk to me again!" She shouted before slamming the door.

Bingo still teary-eyed had enough, she thought maybe it was a lost cause. There was nothing more she could do. "Fine! If that's how you really feel, then don't come knocking at my door for help!"

Bingo with her back against the door, fell down to the floor and started crying. She had never felt this bad since Lila moved away. She had lost someone close to her once more. Her cries could be heard across the house as they echoed through the halls.

Bluey sat the the foot of the door of her room, she could hear Bingo crying from across the room. Her muffled cries were the only thing she could hear as she drifted off to sleep.

Bingo, like Bluey, was exhausted from their argument. She decided to sleep her troubles away. Maybe tomorrow will be better.
