The Future's Young Fingerprint

Lumiouse City, Kalos. July 24th 2033, 12:29pm.

"Eek!"

"What the hell?!"

"Ahh!"

"Yikes!"

"What, Troublesome?" Paul asked groggily. "Hey Mist, what're you shouting at?" Ash questioned. "Dude, Leaf, try not to shout in my ear next time." Gary said, turning his back towards Leaf. "Come on June, can't I sleep a little longer than three hours?" Drew complained, pulling his blanket up to his chest.

A second later, reality settled in, and the boys shot up. "Wait, what?!"

Drew turned to May. "What's going on? Why're you in my room?" "Me? Why are you in my room?!" she demanded, poking him in the chest, accusingly.

"Troublesome," Paul asked, trying to catch Dawn's attention. "Why are we not outside?" Dawn glared at him a little. "I'm sorry, did it look like I knew? Because I didn't!" she huffed.

"Hey Mist, aren't you supposed to be in Kanto?" Ash asked. "I sure wish I was…" Misty muttered under her breath. "What was that?" Ash questioned, raising an eyebrow.

Suddenly, the door flew open, and in raced a little girl with pink hair, along with Nurse Joy.

"Hi there," Nurse Joy greeted them politely. "Are you by any chance Misty Waterflower, Ash Ketchum, May Maple, Drew Hayden, Paul Rebolledo, Dawn Berlitz, Gary Oak, Leaf Green, Max Maple, and Bonnie?"

Max cleared his throat. "Um..yes, that'd be us." he said nervously.

"You have a call on Videophone #3." she said, before excusing herself and her daughter. The group stared after her. "Uh…" May started, shifting her weight from one foot to the other. "Let's go?" she offered lamely.

The group went downstairs to Videophone #3.

A woman, around 27 years, with ginger locks and cerulean green eyes, smiled as she saw them. "Hey you guys!" she greeted. The group looked between her and Misty. The two looked almost like a splitting image of the other, but the one on the videophone looked slightly more mature. "Who are you?" Misty inquired. Older Misty giggled a little.

"You guys! it's me, Misty!"

The group stared more. "Hey Mist, they don't know yet, remember?" Older Misty thought for a moment. "Oh yeah!" she recalled. "Wh-what?" Ash asked shakily.

Older Misty smiled mysteriously. "It's nice to see that you guys made it." she began. "Oh and I almost forgot.." the group leaned in a little. Older Misty grinned.

"Welcome to the future!"
