What a bore this turned out to be. Honestly she'd rather be raiding another villiage by now, but here instead she was stuck with reckon along with a few meatheads. Alas Vernal could only let out a sigh, what a right bore this was. She was tasked along with a few other tribe member's to scout out the area a bit of ways from the camp. This was mostly to eliminate anyone who got too close or maybe just to rob some unsuspecting passerby. Though the road used here was mainly used to cross over into Vale, however hardly anyone would travel to Vale on foot. It was a boring job but she wouldn't dare question Raven.

Though speaking of the leader of the tribe, Vernal did notice something seemed off about her. It started a few weeks ago when they raided the large town, apparently everyone who participated in said raid was killed except of course for Raven. But it seemed absurd that so many were killed and Raven didn't even notify anyone else on who or what had killed them.

But she'd never forget that glare Raven wore as she wobbled through the camp. But that's not what scared her most, it was the fact that someone had actually managed to do that to her.

"Oi! Vernal come look, ya gotta see this!" Whatever thoughts Vernal had vanished as the booming voice of one of the bandits caught her attention.

"Quit screaming. What it is?" He merely handed her a pair of binoculars and pointed into a direction.

Raising an eyebrow Vernal deigned to look through them, though it took a while before she caught sight of what seemed to excite the bandit.

"Well I'll be...is that Schnee way out here?" Though the winter clothes and white hair should've been proof enough, Vernal still found it odd that some Schnee snob would muster the effort to actually take a walk in Mistral of all places.

"C'mon, what are we waitin' for? The boy's are ready so let's go get this Schnee brat!" The man spoke with a grin and Vernal couldn't help but copy him

Though strange, if there was any chance that that was actually a Schnee then they could get stinking rich.

"Fine gather the rest so we can intimidate the punk, hey maybe I'll let you guy's have some fun too?"

How nice of Lady Luck to grant them such a prize, waiting to be taken.

Schwing

Raven's blade cut through the metallic training dummy before her in her tent. What followed was a flurry of strikes, each more precise then the last and with the intent to to kill. It was clear that the dummy could not handel the beating but Raven didn't care.

("Had I underestimated my opponent?") As her strikes continued so did her thoughts. ("Maybe if I had used the maidens power more earlier, then perhaps that battle could have ended differently.")

Her mind wandered back to that day where she faced off against the unknown boy who had managed to incapacitate her with a single punch. Raven prided herself on being strong, in this world strength was all that mattered and she made sure to secure it. Though still she lost. Was she weak or was her opponent simply on a different level? Maybe it was the latter. She remembered the boy's eye's, the same scarlet red as her's, though they told a different story. Bored and uninterested red orbs that seemed to somehow maintain a piercing glare at the same time.

He was young too, younger than her own daughter most likely. Yet he had eye's that could only belong to a monster.

Her sword continued to whistle through the air as the dummy finnally gave in and fell over with a heavy thud. She stared at the ruined dummy with blank eye's though that didn't last long.

"Sorry to disturb ya boss, but we got a problem." One of the tribe member's enterd her tent and delivered the news.

"And what exactly is this problem?"

"Well, Vernal's group got attacked by the looks of it, boss."

"How many survivor's?" She asked.

"Just Vernal made it out by the looks of it."

"I see. Take me to her now." Raven orderd as she walked past him. It might've been a passing Huntsmen, if that was the case they should eliminate him as soon as possible. Though taking out a large group of bandits was no small feat Raven would admit, she would need to exercise caution. She would not be caught off guard again.

"For bandits they sure as hell didn't have alot of money on them." Accelerator mused as he strolled on the dirt road, a long yawn escaped him as he stared at the bright sky. "Damn, I could use a coffee right about now." Muttering to himself the boy exhaled deeply.

He'd been on the road for awhile now, and it was not at all a pleasant journey. The Grimm were relentless but easily dealt with, though that did not make it any less annoying when they attacked him. Then some bandits deceided to attack him, though he had killed them all the same. But it was interesting to see the Grimm attack less and less the more he killed their kin.

"How dull it's turning out to be." Killing, he had done it so much now that the very idea of it didn't even evoke a reaction from him.Though that's to be expected having killed as many people as he did killing became a dull concept. And now here in a whole new world he'd have no problem killing anyone who would stand in his way. Then again Accelerator wasn't some hero, he had no moral code or anything as ridiculous. But he was just making excuses with such thoughts.

"Suppose without Last Order I'm going right back to how I was." A frown found it's way onto his lips. "Deja vu, huh." The esper mused as his steps came to a halt.

He remembered feeling the same way when Last Order had been taken. Only it didn't seem as worse now, maybe he really had grown. But suddenly all thoughts he had went back as a familiar feeling got to him.

"Might as well come out, I know you're there." Footsteps reached his ears as a familiar figure stepped out of the cover of the tree's. Accelerator frowned yet again, he had not actually noticed he had been tailed until a moment ago. Though he would've eventually. But the sensation he was feeling, it was familiar. He recalled whenever Mitsuki Unabara, or whatever his real name was, was near him he had the same feeling, shaking hand and pounding chest. An odd feeling but he failed to see why his body was reacting the way it did.

"The bandit hag from before, huh?" Accelerator mutterd as he watched the approaching women who stopped a few meters infront of him, her hand on the hilt of her blade.

"You possesses strength, that much is plain to see." She started as Acceletor felt her eye's bore into him. "You dealt with my tribe with ease and didn't even show a single one mercy, I'm surprised Vernal made it out alive. And you even managed beat me." It was a random way to begin a conversation but Accelerator could alteast guess what she wanted.

"Cut to the chase hag, I ain't the mood for the chit-chat." Accelerator spat as he watched the idle bandit.

"Very well. I came here today to extend an offer, join my tribe. If you do I can promise you more power, money and more. You'll live a fulfilling life, does that not sound appealing?" Accelerator nearly scoffed at the offer.

"Pass. I ain't interested in joining a third string group like yours." The esper gave his reply and Raven fell silent for a while.

"I see..." She spoke as she unseathed her blade whilst outstreching her right arm with an open palm. "It is a shame. But if you will not join me then you can not be suffered to live."

In an instant, she thrusts her arm forward and released a torrent of flames from her palm. The fire roared to life, illuminating all and engulfing the ground it raced towards the him. Accelerator raised his own palm and in the next instance the fire engulfed him, though that was short lived as the fire seemed burst in other directions erratically as if willed so.

"Tch." Accelerator clicked his tounge as he stared at his palm, which seemed slighly burnt. As well as several spots of soot now stained his clothes, a small amount of the fire had not been deflected. But Accelerator did not panic at the unnatural attack, he knew that would not help. This was another world after all, he'd be surprised if there wasn't anything that could give him trouble in such a foreign world.

("Clearly not ordinary fire. Is she just using the overall concept as a reference to inforce her own power? That still wouldn't explain why I couldn't properly reflect it, unless...")

"It seems that shield of yours has a limit..." Her voice interrupted his thoughts as he saw her red blade light up with flames, as if it was coating it. Simultaneously dozens of ice spikes materialised above her as the air seemed to get cooler. ("I will not make the same mistake of underestimating him, I'll not hold back.") Then she charged at him, a streak of fire being left behind due to the blade. The ice spikes launched at the same time, soaring through the sky precisely aimed at the esper.

Accelerator stared at the onslaught motionless but his thoughts ran faster then what was occurring around him.

("Her attacks, it's not completely ignoring my 'reflection' but bits of it will make it through if she keeps attacking. But how are they constructed? It seems similar to that magic I encounterd in Russia, yet at the same time it's different, almost simplistic in comparison. When that fire hit me it didn't dissipate into a gas, instead it got flung all over the place meaning my 'reflection' can still effect it. But deciphering the attack might take some time, I could try and break it into it's simplest form and just focus on analysing the 'unknown' aspect of it, but I barley know where to start. Then again her using basic elements makes this a bit easier, but she might have more up her sleeve. Guess I'll get a little creative with my ability.)

Bending his legs slightly the esper launched into the air like a rocket, now closer to the flurry of ice spikes he raised and swung his arm sideways. The wind seemed to follow his command, as a violent and heavy torrent of wind swept through the shards of ice, their fragile forms could no longer be held as they shatterd like glass under the heavy onslaught of the wind. Still in the air Accelerator's eye's fell to Raven who was still on the ground, with an outstretched palm aiming at him, dozen sphere's of fire launched from her hand like a gattling gun.

Accelerator meanwhile watched the onslaught as he prepared his own attack. He raised his hand towards his mouth and then his teeth sunk into his thumb deep enough to produce a drop of blood. Then the esper merely flicked the drop of blood towards the onslaught of fire.

What followed was an earpiercing noise as a tiny red blur zig zagged through the air and through the sphere's of fire, the unreal amount of force produced by the blood immediately extinguishing the flames with a burst. Manipulating the surrounding air Accelerator landed weightlessly on the ground.

Raven meanwhile was dumbstruck. The esper's power was just confusing her the more he used it, first she believed he merely possessed superior strength due to the tremors he caused when they first encounterd. Then he had a strange barrier around him that acted too bizarrely to be aura, then he even seemed to control the wind, now this. Not to mention he had impressive speed, if she let her guard down sh-

The esper was now suddenly infont of her, his hand reached towards her face, reminiscent of their first encounter yet this time Raven was prepared. Arching her body backwards she avoided a messy fate. Though she did not stop there flipping backwards with surprising agility the women once again launched a torrent of flames towards the esper.

This time Accelerator focused his reflection in his right hand as he raised it, the fire hit full force though this time it did not get launched in all directions, instead it seemed as though it collided with a wall, that wall being Accelerator's hand. The fire continued to assualt said 'wall' but it was no use, as the torrent of flames soon stopped.

("Simple. While the fire isn't generated by normal means, at the end of the day it's still just fire. I only need to block that while the unknown aspect passes through.") Said 'unknown' aspect was simply used to produce the flames so he could let it pass through his 'reflection'. ("Though I think I've seen enough for now.")

Raven watched as he completely blocked her attack, this time he was unscathed safe for the soot marks from the earlier attack.

("Surviving a full onslaught of a Maiden's power? Just who is this boy?") She asked herself, she could not beat him with just her natural strenght hence why she used the Maiden's power so freely. The boy before her was dangerous, if left alive he could become a fearsome enemy. ("That is why I need to kill him now.")

Suddenly pillars of fire erupted from the ground, incircling Accelerator. They shot up high into the sky and the sheer heat caused nearby plants and tree's to burn.

Raven's open palm rouse towards Accelerator then she clenched it, on command the pillars of fire collapsed and combusted, the sheer force caused a warm wind to engulf the area with the sheer wave of force the fire produced and almost set a whole portion of the forest ablaze. There would be nothing left of him after that, the attacks she sent before were meant for precession and speed, this one focused on raw power. No normal human could survive that, it would burn through their aura and turn them to ash.

Raven watched behind her mask with cold eye's as she sheathed her blade. That attack was risky and too big, but neccesary Nevertheless she would've drawn attention to herself from such a big attack. She turned around to leave but the clapping of hands stopped her.

("...That's not possible...") Slowly turning back her fears were true. Standing on the now opened patch of burnt ground, the esper leisurely clapped his hands as if applauding her.

"Congratulations, you've succeeded in boring me to death. But it's not all bad atleast with you I learned there's a strange power here."

Before Raven could register the espers word's she suddenly spat out blood as her mask fell to the ground.

"But you see I've grown quite bored of this little game." His arm was through her stomach, he had suddenly appeared before her with speed she didn't even know was possible. Far faster then he was before, Raven had not even the time to react. More blood violently left her mouth as the esper released her, intestine fell to the ground as her mind went blank. The pain finally enveloped her and she could not even muster a scream in her state.

Accelerator stared at the writhing women beneath his feet.

("How pathetic, talked all big yet here she is now.") Raising his leg slightly he aimed for her head intent on putting her out of her misery.

Raven glared up towards the esper, gritting her teeth in pain. She could not die here, not now, not when there was so much left she still needed to do. She refused to die here, so she used the last of her strenght to muster up a means to prolonge her life. It was a desperate attempt, no doubt she'd be looked down upon by her own tribe but she didn't care now, she was not going to die today.

As Accelerator readied himself to end her he suddenly stopped as a large blade was now inches away from his face. The blade collided with his reflection of course and the owner nearly lossed his grip on the blade as his body spun under the momentum, but he came to a quick halt at Raven's side. Grabbing the women by the collar he dragged her away slightly.

"Ah?" Accelerator looked slightly confused at the man that suddenly seemed to appear out of nowhere. He had faded red eye's, spiky black hair with faded greying, as well as a slight stuble on his face. Wearing a dirty grey shirt with a tattered red cloak the man simply looked out of it. He looked like a random drunk but there was something off about him.

Though those thoughts would have to wait as Accelerator heard a strange noise behind him and his eye's couldn't help but widen at the sight.

Visually it looked like a tear had been made in reality itself but it really was something otherwise simplistic to the esper. It was a portal. It was easy to draw the conclusion of who had made it.

("How lucky, I've been looking for a form of teleportation in this world, and seems like I found it.") Accelerator grinned as his eye's rolled to the man and the still somehow alive Raven. Seems thing's were looking up, if only slightly.

A/N: Question should I add more charecters? If yes then it would prolly just be the other level 5's. It's possible but focus might need to shift away from Accelerator. Or ia the story fine as is?
