[Charm Species] was the 4th tier spell that could mind control even the beings of different species. It was the greatest mind-control spell in Keno's arsenal. Not only she had used this spell often in this world, it was a very good spell when taking out the information out of your target. However, there were two glaring disadvantages in this spell.

First was the duration of the spell effect and the second was the commands they could put upon others. In simple words, she could not order them to kill or harm themselves. Only the 7th tier spell [Dominate] was capable of seizing other's will of understanding.

Even now, this spell had completed its necessary task flawlessly.

The mind controlled figures of Wing and Zushi stood in front of her, while she was taking notes of this mysterious and highly confidential power system called Nen.

At first, she thought nothing of it, but just a monk based skillsets that could do tricks. Though the applications if Nen were quite fantastic in their own way.

"So, how can I open these aura nodes? I don't think the long term method was anything good."

Asking the question to Wing, she got the answer immediately.

"There is shotcut too. If another Nen user forcefully used their Nen attacks, there was a slight, but possible chances that one may even open their aura nodes as well. This method is little bit risky, but it is the shortest path. Do you wish to try this method?"

Keno nodded at his explanation and responded with affirmation.

"Yes. Tell me the steps and initiate it."

As she got the instructions from Wing, she remembered the times when she was learning magic under her previous teacher.

Keno belonged to a race of Rainbow Eye, she was born with magic. She was a Sorceress from the beginning.

Compared to Wizards who used the world's mana, the Sorcerers used their innate mana to use magic. They felt the mana like it was an inseparable part of their existence.

When her nodes opened, Keno felt the very same feeling again. But this time, it(aura) was very warm water compared to oily like mana.

Aura, the very essence of life, was circulating inside as well as outside of her body.

"How nostagic." She sighed at thise memories and did the cery same thing that she had done when controlling her mana. But delving on her past, didn't sit well with her. She had to concentrate on her current and that was mastering Nen.

After this, she also had to alter his memories too.

After talking with Wing, both Gon and Killua were no longer eager to ask again. They understood that he was taking them seriously right now. If he didn't teach them, then they would show him how wrong he was.

They immediately spoke with Keno to hasten the advancement to the 200th floor.

Killua didn't know why she was pissed upon them. But he ignored it. They had better things to do.

They advanced to the higher floors at the rocket speed, beating all of their opponents with ease. There was hardly any competition for their trio. Though there were some issues that were hard to overlook.

Like how, Keno was acting strange than she previously did. She was collecting a lot of books from the city's bookstores. Most of them were about Geology, Minerology or stuffs about gravity. She was also taking notes from online university teachers with hour long lectures.

It was bizzarre at first, but Killua thought it as her hobby. Her collection was also full of different types of stones, metals and a lot of books over Geophysics.

He had some basic idea of the subject, not the in-depth knowledge for what purpose she was learning this much books.

From his perspectives, Keno was a bibliomaniac. And a very hardcore one.

"We are finally here."

"Yeah."

"..."

The trio stared at the silent corridoors of the 200th floor, where they were going to have some unknown challenges, awaiting just to shake up their lives.

Following the instructions, they were on their path to register themselves, until the unexpected happened.

"Hmm, this feels a little odd."

"Is there something wrong here?" Killua asked to Keno who stopped at her tracks.

"Uhh, it is nothing. Let's go."

The corridor was empty, but their instincts were saying otherwise. Like something wicked was ahead of them. Something very malicious and dangerous...

"Damn! This feels like we are walking against a river!

Killua thought to himself as he felt being crushed to death.

Suddenly, the crushing wave of malice vanished like it never existed before. The darkness around them was slowly subsiding.

They could see the world normal again.

Hearing the footsteps across the corridor, they steeled themselves for the worse. And then it came ... or she came.

A woman, who, from her uniform, was most likely the attendant of Heaven's Arena, stepped towards them with an exhausted look on face. Her smile barely fell from her face, but she was looking straight at them.

"Mister Killua, Mister Gon and Miss Keno, please register your names fast. You all are running out of time."

She said the warning with a little speck of threat. It was not even a threat, but a statement. From here, they thought that she was not even the person who threatened them with her malicious aura, but they did not want to let their guards yet.

"What was that? Who caused that?"

Killua and Gon thought the same, while they stared at Keno, whose line of sight was still upon the woman.

And then, they understood why.

A card rotated near the face of the woman, who also seemed surprised. She moved away from her place, letting the true culprit to come forth.

Crimson haired that reminded them of a certain clown, and the makeup that any creep would put, the master of cards came forward with a predatory smile.

""Hisoka!""

"Huh?"

Confused she was, Keno stared at the two boys and then at the clown, whose face was wholly covered with makeup. Not knowing what a clown even meant, she stared at the man named Hisoka with questioning gaze.

Assuming him as an undesirable person, by the expressions of the boys and her own impressions, she decided to stay silent for now.

"Well, well, well, here I came to find one little fruit and another contender joined him as well. How imteresting~."

His grin didn't fade as he stared at the trio while licking his lips.
