"Hi Mom. Hi Dad, I'm home." Mrs. Boonchuy wrapped Anne in the tightest hug Anne had ever felt. Anne could feel a damp spot start to form on her shoulder as tears fell from her mother's eyes.

"ANNE? ANNE, YOU'RE BACK!" Mr. Boonchuy exclaims as he runs over and joins in the hug. "I'm so glad you're safe. Where were you?"

Exiting the group hug Anne looked away, rubbing her arm sheepishly. "That's a long story."

As the three walked inside the house Mr. Boonchuy saw something off about Anne's arm. "Anne? Am I seeing things or is your arm glowing?" Anne looked down and quickly covered up the blue glow of her arm where her sleeve had come up after the group hug.

"Is it bad if I say I lost my arm and replaced it with magical energy?" Anne said nervously. Both parents laughed thinking it was a joke, but when Anne didn't even chuckle, they both got a little worried.

"You're joking right?" Mrs. Boonchuy asked. Anne didn't even look at her. "Anne Savisa Boonchuy. Tell me you are joking."

"…I'm not. As I said, it's a long story. You should probably sit down for this." Anne led them to the couch and sat them down. She began telling them everything from the day of her birthday to her arrival in Amphibia and her Calamity Powers.

"YOU GOT MAGICAL SUPERPOWERS!" Mr. Boonchuy was elated. "Can you still use them?"

"Yes, I can." She told them about the Planters and Wartwood. How the king came after her to try and kill her with robots.

"Anne, I don't know if my heart can take this, do you know how dangerous all this is?" Mrs. Boonchuy said in a worried tone.

"I know, but I came back safe and sound right… well besides the arm."

"Yeah uh… how did you lose it?" Mr. Boonchuy asked.

"That comes later, just let me continue the story." Anne continued to tell them about her first run-in with Sasha, and her leaving with Sprig to find Marcy. She told her about how she found her, but she was being mind-controlled by a hive mind and how she couldn't save her.

"You know Anne, this sounds a lot like a video game." Mr. B said.

"Or a book." Mrs. B added.

Anne continued telling them about her meeting back up with Sasha and working together to beat Darcy and save Marcy. She told them of how the three of them ended up fighting the moon and how she sacrificed herself to save the world.

"ANNE! YOU WERE GOING TO DIE!" Mrs. B said in half shock and half anger.

"Yes, but I didn't die, I only ended up losing my arm, if it was anyone other than me, they would have died for sure." Anne rebuked. "Then using my powers, I created a new arm. Sasha, Marcy, and I learned how to make a portal home and here we are, all caught up."

Anne watched as her parents digested all the information. "Any questions?"

"So, your arm is now permanently glowing blue?" Mrs. B asked.

Anne rerolled up her sleeve showing her arm off in its full glory. "Yeah. It also takes a little more effort to move but other than that it acts just like a normal arm." Anne wiggled her arm around to show them that it was fine.

"Can you still travel back to this Amphibia place?" Mr. B questioned.

"Of course, I can take you there tomorrow if you'd like." Anne gave a pure, genuine smile, for a long time she had wanted to introduce her parents to the planters, and now she could.

The next day Anne and her parents were in the garage. "Mom, Dad. Don't you think you're a little over-prepared?" Anne winced as her parents had huge backpacks with everything, they thought they would need from weapons to clothes and enough food to feed an army. "We're not going to be staying more than a day."

"You can never be too prepared Anne" her mom argued. Anne gave her a reluctant nod, Anne powered up her Calamity powers, ignoring the squeals of delight coming from her father, and opened a portal to Amphibia.

"Welcome To Amphibia" Anne exclaimed. Her parents were shocked and in awe, at how beautiful this place looked, at least they were until a giant red mantis came out of a nearby bush to attack. Both parents raised their weapons while scared out of their minds until Anne stood in front of them and easily punched it away like it was a regular occurrence. "Come on, let's head to Wartwood." Anne carried the two adults as they flew across the sky until they arrived at Wartwood, or more specifically an old farmhouse.

Anne set her parents down and walked up to the front door, giving it a hefty knock. The door opened revealing Hop Pop himself, she could also see Sprig and Polly in the kitchen. "Hey HP, told you I'd be back."

"ANNE! What are you doing back" Hop Pop asked clearly very surprised to see her. Sprig and Polly hearing her name rushed to the front door watching her with glee.

"I brought some people I want you to meet." Anne motioned to the much older humans standing behind her. "Mom, Dad, meet the planters. Hop Pop, Sprig, Polly, meet my parents."

After a brief introduction and pleasantries, everybody started to get to know each other. It turns out that her parents and Hop Pop got along really well. Eventually, the Boonchuy's had to leave as they couldn't stay for an extended period of time on this visit, but Anne definitely promised to visit as often as she could.

And visit she did. Throughout the years as Anne grew up, Anne would head to Amphibia as often as she could. Going on Many different adventures with Sprig, sometimes she could even rope in Marcy and Sasha to join when they visited their amphibian families.

Anne even brought the Planters to Earth a few times, which had been a mistake as without fail they would always get her in big trouble, especially Sprig who wanted to touch everything no matter the danger.

As Anne, Sasha, and Marcy grew into adulthood and their trips to Amphibia grew less frequent, yet they all continued to see Amphibia as their second home. They knew that that first trip to Amphibia on Anne's 13th birthday was the best thing that ever happened to them.

I would like to thank everybody who read this story to the end. I hope you enjoyed reading it as much as I did writing it. Amphibia is one of my favorite pieces of media and I hope my writing at least captured a fraction of the wonder the original story had. Once again, thank you for reading and I hope you have a wonderful rest of your life. SprAnne against the world! :D
