In the restaurant building, Hawks shielded the waitress by covering her with his wings. Aisha managed to protect herself and Ophelia with a psychokinetic barrier. They turned their heads to see Endeavor hovering in the air as the new number one hero was determinedly prepared to face High-End Nomu on his own.
"Hey, Endeavor, I didn't know you could fly." Hawks called out.
"I'm just not falling." Endeavor corrected. "Now stay alert. This thing's still moving."
The High-End Nomu floated airborne with four retractable jet boosters mounted on his upper back. Endeavour's jetburn attack only planted minor burns on the High-End Nomu's chest.
"Ha, didn't think you could kill me with puny flames, did you, hero?" High-End Nomu taunted.
The High-End Nomu instantly regenerated his burned arms and chest at incredible speed.
It's just like the Nomu that fought All Might. He's regenerating his wounds. Aisha thought with narrow eyes. Not even Endeavor's flames could lend a dent on him. That, and he can fly and talk. Is it possible that Nomu has more abilities than the one back at USJ?
"Show me strength." High-End Nomu said to Endeavor.
Endeavor clenched his fist and concentrated his flames at full power before clenching his fist.
"Flashfire Fist! Hell Spider!" Endeavor shouted.
Endeavor then fired multiple beams of fire at the High-End Nomu from his fingertips. But the High-End Nomu dodged the fire beams and sped over towards Endeavor. It grabbed the flaming hero and shapeshifted his arm into an elastic limb, stretching and slamming Endeavor into the building. Endeavor struggled to free himself from the High-End Nomu's grasp. The High-End Nomu then pushed Endeavor straight through the building walls with his immense strength until he bursted the flaming hero out of the other side of the building..
While Endeavor continued fighting the High-End Nomu, the building started to crumble all around Hawks, Aisha, Ophelia, and the trapped civilians.
"Come on, girls." Hawks said to Aisha and Ophelia. "Let's get everyone out of here."
"Right." Aisha and Ophelia nodded.
Outside, the High-End Nomu's elastic arm sliced through the entire building, causing it to tumble down.
Hawks concentrated every human movement around the building and unleashed red feathers to locate trapped civilians and evacuate them outside with swift speed. Once the feathers escorted the civilians out of the crumbling building, Aisha psychokinetically surrounded the civilians in a sea green aura and moved them down to the streets while Ophelia released platforms out of colorful flower petals under some of the civilians before descending them to the streets.
As several red feathers returned to his wings, Hawks jumped out of the building and soared in front of the levitating Aisha and Ophelia.
"Seventy-six people in the damaged section, all evacuated safely." Hawks said. "Nice work, ladies."
"No problem." Ophelia said with a smile.
Aisha suddenly glanced over her shoulder as if she started to detect something from the distance. Her eyes caught the sight of eight purplish-blue tentacle-like appendages projecting towards her direction. She quickly formed a barrier of psychokinesis to protect herself, Ophelia, and Hawks.
The tentacle-like appendages weren't strong enough to penetrate the barrier and retreated to the Synthezoid, who revealed herself on the doorway on the building rooftop from below.
"Begin objective. Eliminate the target." The Synthezoid spoke.
Aisha, Ophelia, and Hawks stared down at the Synthezoid.
"What's with the robot?" Hawks asked.
"Hawks, go and help Endeavor." Aisha said to Hawks as her hands enveloped with blazing psychokinetic energy. "Leave this to us."
"You got it. Good luck, you two." Hawks said.
Hawks flew away towards the High-End Nomu.
"Aisha, do you know this robot?" Ophelia asked.
"Not really. But I did remember the blueprints of that machine when I got kidnapped by those villains that ambushed the training camp." Aisha replied.
"Well, I don't know why it's here, but we'll beat this thing together." Ophelia said.
Suddenly, an umbrakinetic tentacle appeared out of nowhere and wrapped around Ophelia's waist. Ophelia cried out in alarm as Nightshade dragged her to the rooftop where she was standing.
"Ophelia!" Aisha shouted.
As Aisha soared down after her sister, the Synthezoid projected her purplish-blue tentacles and wrapped around the UA student's entire body. The Synthezoid then slammed her down to the building rooftop where she was standing. Aisha engulfed herself with psychokinesis and blasted the Synthezoid that knocked the robot away, releasing the purplish-blue tentacles off of her.
Aisha then levitated above the rooftop as the Synthezoid's eyes glowed.
"Proceed objective from Zircon. Eliminate Aisha Rozu." The Synthezoid spoke again.
So, he's the one who sent it to me. Aisha thought with narrow eyes. I can worry about Ophelia later. I need to deal with this robot one on one.
Then, Aisha and the Synthezoid locked each other into a vicious battle.
Meanwhile, Ophelia kept getting dragged by a shadowy tentacle until she crashed onto one of the taller building rooftops. She pulled herself up on her knees and looked up to face the source of that sudden move. It was none other than...
"Nightshade." Ophelia said surprisingly.
"Well, well, well. I guess Aisha Rozu told you all about me, but I didn't expect she would bring a friend along with her." Nightshade smirked.
"I'm her sister, actually." Ophelia corrected.
"Oh, even better." Nightshade said.
Nightshade activated her Quirk as Ophelia did the same with her own.
"You know, I was hoping to have a match with Aisha. But I guess fighting her big sister is good enough since my dad already gave the Synthezoid orders to keep her busy." Nightshade grinned. Her voice then became serious with hate. "Your mother took away someone I cared about. So, I'm returning the favor."
Nightshade charged forward and sent out several dark energy tendrils from her hands, but Ophelia quickly conjured a large rose as a shield from both hands and blocked the dark energy tendrils. The two young women kept firing and deflecting their Quirks at each other at high speed while focusing on the timing of all of each other's attacks at the same time.
"Strong Quirk, but your skills are weak. I've had years of training." Nightshade taunted.
Ophelia pointed her right hand and released multiple pink petals in a twister-like fashion underneath Nightshade, sending the villainess to fly and land to the ground in pain.
"Do you always talk too much when you fight?" Ophelia smirked.
Nightshade's eyes narrowed about that comment as she jumped back on her feet. She unleashed a large wave of dark energy at Ophelia, who backflipped over the attack and sprinted forward.
The Synthezoid formed a spherical orb of purplish-blue energy between her hands and released a large energy blast towards Aisha. But Aisha brought her hands forward and created a large psychokinetic barrier around herself that protected her from the energy blast. As Aisha dropped her barrier, the Synthezoid leaped up in the air on a jet of purplish-blue energy. She kicked her legs forward, sending a wave of purplish-blue energy from each of her three spinning kicks.
Aisha dodged the energy waves and charged forward as she spun herself and fired several sea green crescent blades of psychokinesis that attacked the Synthezoid at high speeds.
The Synthezoid recovered and extended her purplish-blue tentacles forward at Aisha, who swiftly evaded from them. Aisha circled the Synthezoid and fired crescent blades of psychokinesis with fast speed.
While the Synthezoid tried to block the fast crescent blades from her target, she stopped for a mere second. Her purplish-blue tentacles then shapeshifted into large hands and lashed them to grasp Aisha's arms tightly. The Synthezoid mercilessly punched Aisha in rapid speed until her last punch sent her flying away. Aisha was tossed in the air until she regained her balance thanks to her Quirk.
Feeling slightly dizzy, Aisha shook it off and quickly looked back to the Synthezoid, who stood on the roof ledge.
As Nightshade and Ophelia continued firing their Quirks at each other, they both halted and turned their heads up to the sky. From above, the High-End Nomu floated within the smoke and suddenly rained down four large white Nomus from his body, sending them to fall onto the city and move towards the innocent civilians.
"What the hell?!" Nightshade said in surprise.
Ophelia doesn't know what's going on with the large Nomus, but she took the perfect opportunity to strike. With Nightshade distracted, Ophelia managed to gain the upper hand. She conjured ten roses in a full circle around Nightshade and fired explosive petals at her altogether. Then, a large field in the shape of a lotus flower appeared underneath Nightshade's feet. Before Nightshade could react, ropes of vines and flowers tied around the villainess's limbs from the field. Ophelia swiftly blossomed large upside-down bluebells around the large field and directed them towards Nightshade. The bluebells then fired large explosive spores at the villainess with rapid speed, knocking her down to the ground.
Once the rose field and flowery vine-like ropes disappeared, Ophelia stood over the glaring Nightshade.
"It's over, Nightshade." Ophelia said firmly.
"For now." Nightshade retorted as she engulfed herself in dark energy. "But if I were you, I would keep an eye on your sister before the robot finished her off."
With that, Nightshade soared away into the air.
The sight of large Nomus also caught Aisha's attention.
What the?! Aisha exclaimed in shock. Did that Nomu store those different-colored Nomus inside its body? The League of Villains have definitely made that Nomu very perceptive.
Aisha looked back and quickly began swinging continuous crescent blades of psychokinesis at the Synthezoid, who evaded them defensively with swift speed.
From down below, a female reporter witnessed Endeavor increasing the heat temperature that unleashed a powerful torrent of flames. The civilians started to feel the heat temperature across the entire city. The cameraman recorded the flaming hero live on TV.
"Look at that! Endeavor is still in the sky!" A female reporter announced. "Shining brightly! I can feel the heat from his attacks! He's a one-man inferno!"
The female reporter then caught the sight of Aisha firing her psychokinetic blades at the dodging Synthezoid, causing the cameraman to broadcast the fight.
"And there appears to be a high school student attacking some sort of robot in the sky!" A female reporter announced. "No doubt she is from UA! I'm not sure if the robot is working with the Nomu, but the student is giving everything she got!"
As Aisha's flurry of psychokinetic crescent blades kept striking the robot, the Synthezoid suddenly sprang up in the air and charged purplish-blue energy from one hand. She fired a large energy beam that damaged Aisha in an explosion.
Aisha fell and rolled onto the rooftop. She began panting heavily and narrowing her eyes in anger. Aisha gritted her teeth and slowly picked herself up just as the Synthezoid walked up to her.
"Target down. Continue the mission." The Synthezoid said.
"I don't think so, robot!" Aisha shouted.
Aisha hovered in midair and zoomed in towards the Synthezoid, but the robotic villainess dashed straight in front of the stunned Aisha.
The Synthezoid punched her fist to Aisha's stomach. She swung her other fist under Aisha's chin, sending her straight into the sky. She then held her hands together and gathered a purplish-blue energized sphere on her palm before firing a powerful beam that hit Aisha into the building rooftop from the sky. In midair, the Synthezoid rapidly began barraging Aisha with a powerful succession of purplish-blue energy beams.
Aisha protected herself inside a sea green psychokinetic barrier against the robot's barraging energy beams. With great effort, she tried holding up the barrier.
"She's...too strong..." Aisha muttered weakly.
The Synthezoid produced a large ball of purplish-blue energy between her hands and swung it forward to throw a strong discharge at Aisha. That strong attack breached Aisha's barrier.
Just as the Synthezoid started approaching, a sudden rapid-fire of explosive seeds hit the robot, making her stumble backward. A long flowery vine lashed around Aisha and pulled her away, setting her down safely on her knees next to Ophelia.
"Thanks, sis." Aisha said with a smile.
"Not a problem." Ophelia said. "Now, go help Endeavor and Hawks. I'll handle the robot."
Aisha nodded and rushed after Endeavor in the sky.
The High-End Nomu's head was floating in the air below Endeavor after being completely incinerated by the number one hero's flames. He started to regenerate again that caught Hawks and Aisha's attention.
"Watch out!" Hawks and Aisha shouted.
The High-End Nomu quickly restored his muscle strings into two bone blades and extended his elastic limbs towards Endeavor at incredible speed. Endeavor turned around with a shock look on his face, but it was too late for him to react.
The High-End Nomu's elastic bone blades sliced the left side of Endeavor's chest and face, which critically destroyed his left eye.
The reporter and the citizens watched Endeavor receiving a fatal, overwhelming blow by the High-End Nomu from their TVs with shocked yet horrified faces. Fuyumi and Natsuo watched in horror from the laptop inside a taxi. Some of Class 1-A students watched the broadcast of the battle from the TV at the common space area. Especially Shoto, who watched in utter shock with small flames igniting from his left eye. At the teacher's lounge, the pro heroes are also watching the battle with extremely shocked faces. Even All Might was clenching his stomach wound with a worried expression.
Aisha's eyes widened wide in a complete mix of shock and disbelief.
"Endeavor!" Aisha shouted as she zoomed towards the tumbling flame hero.
Then suddenly, Aisha screamed as if she felt a sharp pain within her. The flow of time had slowed down around her. Ophelia and Hawks turned around and stood there frozen in shock for a moment. The Synthezoid emerged from her long sharp tendrils of purplish-blue energy through Aisha's arms, legs, throat, and torso.
"Aaaaiiissshhhaaa!" Ophelia screamed in horror.
The Synthezoid's dangerously fatal blow at Aisha was also broadcasted on live TV. In their household, Amazonite collapsed on her knees in heavy tears as Vondergeist comforted his wife tightly while watching their daughter in horror. Selene covered her mouth in shock while Luna and Diana looked on with horrified faces. Even Shoto stared at the screen in absolute shock as small flames kindled again from his left eye. All he can do is gritting his teeth in frustration.
Aisha coughed out a large amount of blood from her mouth. The Synthezoid pulled her sharp tendrils out of Aisha, sending her to fall backwards and crash onto the building rooftop.
"Target eliminated." The Synthezoid said. "Mission complete."
Ophelia gritted her teeth in pure fury as she was unable to bear the pain of her grief on her dying sister. She thrusted her arms forward and screamed with rage, unleashing a series of large flower drills from the ground that attacked the Synthezoid in quick succession.
A news helicopter flew above the battlefield.
"The villain who suddenly appeared is now destroying the city!" The female newscaster reported. "I can't confirm this, but it looks as though many bioengineered human Nomu are also on the ground."
Hawks and the other heroes began fighting against the other four Nomus.
"Heroes are currently attempting to suppress them and evacuate citizens." The female newscaster added. "However, Endeavor and the UA student appear to have been greatly wounded. This madness…I can't help but draw comparisons to the nightmare we witnessed three months ago at Kamino Ward."
Back at Heights Alliance, Class 1-A students kept watching the broadcast. On the TV screen, a massive swarm of panicking citizens began shoving and pushing each other. They wanted to get out of the area as fast as they can. The female reporter and the cameraman looked around the complete chaos of the situation.
"There's no Symbol..." The female reporter spoke through TV with a dreadful look on her face. "This is what it looks like when people have no hope."
Shoto stared at the television screen with an utterly shocked face.
"You've gotta be kidding." Shoto said.
"It's chaos. Sheer panic." Tokoyami said.
Then, Aizawa walked into the common space area.
"Todoroki. So, you know, then?" Aizawa spoke.
"It's bad." Sero said.
"Don't just say whatever you want!"
Izuku, Kirishima, Diana, Selene, Luna, Katsuki, Sero, Tsuyu, Uraraka, Shoto, Aiwaza, Kaminari, Yaoyorozu, and Tokoyami immediately turned back to the TV screen, where the camera panned over to the pink-haired boy that Endeavor encountered earlier.
"What, you think scaring people makes for good TV?" The pink-haired boy yelled.
"Okay, you gotta chill, dude." Another boy said as he and his mutant friend tried to hold him back within the crowd.
"Look over there! His flames are still burning! See?" The pink-haired boy shouted.
The camera then turned to where the pink-haired boy's pointing to and captured Endeavor's flames in the distance.
"You know what that means! Endeavor's still alive and fighting for us! Don't say there's no Symbol just cause All Might's not here!" The pink-haired boy cried.
Shoto silently listened to the pink-haired boy on the news. It was as if the feeling of fearfulness was slowly beginning to evaporate.
"Do you know what he's doing right now? Endeavor's risking his life for our sakes! Look at him!" The pink-haired boy hollered.
Back at the Kyushu District, Endeavor chased after the High-End Nomu in the air with his flames pushing himself from behind.
From down below, Aisha's eyes fluttered rapidly as she laid helplessly on the rooftop ground.
No... Aisha thought with heavy tears in her eyes. I can't...I can't die like this. She pictured her family and her friends. Mom. Dad. My sisters. And my friends. All I wanted since I was a child was to...become a hero.
Aisha coughed out blood weakly and grunted with gritted teeth while rolling around and trying to pull herself up on her knees. But the painful sensation prevented herself from doing so, making her collapse on her chest.
No. I'm not giving up this battle. That robot started this fight and... Aisha thought with fierce determination. No matter what it takes, I'm finishing it!
All of a sudden, Aisha gasped. But this time, it was in a collected manner. Her eyes shifted to her arms, where she could see her entire body glowing in sea green psychokinetic energy. All of her damaging wounds started to disappear on her arms, legs, throat, and torso. Her face went utterly stunned when she moved her arms around.
Her arms. I can move them. They're healed. Aisha said. She quickly looked over both shoulders and saw the wounds on her legs were instantly healed as well. And my legs.
Aisha's five fingers then placed themselves on her throat as her other hand touched her torso.
"And my chest and throat's healed too." Aisha spoke in awe. "But...my Quirk can't do that. Unless..."
Aisha breathed with wide eyes in realization.
"Of course." Aisha said. "Just like what happened to Diana, my Quirk is upgraded thanks to that weird device when we were kidnapped."
Then, a powerful surge of psychokinesis began enveloping all over Aisha, making her eyes glow brightly.
"All right, robot. It's time for round two." Aisha declared with a determined smile.
Meanwhile, Ophelia was lifted in the air. Her arms and legs were snared in purplish-blue energized tentacles that extend from the Synthezoid's back.
"New target neutralized." The Synthezoid said as she raised up her other hand and engulfed in purplish-blue energy. "Begin elimination."
"Leave my sister alone!"
Blazing sea green energy of psychokinesis extended themselves all over the Synthezoid. Before she could blink, the Synthezoid was launched into the air and slammed hard into a nearby building.
The energized tentacles vanished and freed Ophelia, who landed safely on the rooftop. She looked around across the area until her eyes grew in a mix of shock and surprise.
Aisha hovered into the air with her burning sea green eyes.
The camera captured the sight of the hovering Aisha in the distance.
"Look over there! This is incredible! The UA student is back in the fight with the robot!" The female newscaster reported from the helicopter. "I don't know how, but her wounds from earlier are miraculously restored. Just like Endeavor, she's fighting to win!"
With a single tear on his left eye, Shoto silently couldn't believe it. A moment ago, he just watched his childhood friend being pierced all over her body. And now, she's astonishingly revitalized and ready for round two.
As the Synthezoid stood back up, Aisha descended to face her.
"Miss me?" Aisha smirked.
As Aisha outstretched her hands, multiple crescent-shaped blades of psychokinetic energy materialized all around the Synthezoid and hurled altogether at her.
"Error: not possible!" The Synthezoid cried as she analyzed Aisha. "Target supposed to be eliminated."
"Well, sorry to burst your bubble." Aisha said menacingly. "But as you can see, I'm far from elimination. Now, I'm finishing what you started."
Aisha dashed towards the Synthezoid at fast speed and released a large burst of psychokinesis that attacked the robot on impact and sent it flying up in the air. The Synthezoid growled and shot out waves of purplish-blue energy from her swinging arms at Aisha, who easily avoided them with fast speed and moved close to the Synthezoid's face. But the Synthezoid didn't have time to react or a chance to attack. Aisha psychokinetically seized the Synthezoid and launched her backwards into the sky. As she soared after the Synthezoid, she levitated several chunks of rocks from the ground below and combined them to form two large stone fists. Aisha then launched the stone fists at the Synthezoid, delivering a rapid series of powerful punches before slamming her down into the building rooftop.
Ophelia looked utterly dumbfounded as if she had never seen Aisha in her unusual powerful state. But she already knows that she's not going anywhere near her enraged sister. Her eyes also caught Endeavor fighting the High-End Nomu at full power with the help of Hawk's feathers.
You and Endeavor got this, sis. Ophelia thought. End this once and for all.
Back in Heights Alliance, Shoto clenched his left fist with small flames.
Old man…Aisha…Shoto thought determinedly. Come on! I'm watching you!
The Synthezoid watched as Aisha floated down from the sky. She focused her power into a spherical orb between her hands and released a large blast of purplish-blue energy at Aisha. But Aisha levitated chunks of stone that spun in a circle around her as a shield against the Synthezoid's energy blast. The Synthezoid then unleashed a rapid barrage of purplish-blue energy blasts, which continued to be ineffective against Aisha's Quirk. Aisha flinged the stone chunks that hit the robot one by one with a swing of her hands.
Aisha held out her hands and released a large shockwave of psychokinesis that pushed the Synthezoid backwards, knocking her flat on her back. She flew high into the air and cast a narrowing glare at the robot. She then lifted up her hands and gathered up her psychokinesis. She spun herself rapidly and her Quirk formed into a large tornado around the Synthezoid, who experienced massive damage without any opportunity to strike back.
"Error! Error!" The Synthezoid shouted.
Aisha soared high in the sky as the psychokinetic tornado began lifting up above the city. She lifted her right hand and shaped the tornado into a large sphere of psychokinetic energy, trapping the Synthezoid inside. The Synthezoid started blasting purplish-blue energy and pounding her fist against the sphere, but it was ineffective.
Then, Aisha looked up at the sky. Her eyes caught the sight of Endeavor carrying the High-End Nomu up high into the sky. With the full might of his flames, Endeavor then unleashed a powerful concentrated beam of flames from his body and completely vaporized the High-End Nomu in one massive blow.
Nice, Endeavor. Aisha thought with a smile. She looked back at the Synthezoid. "It's over, robot!"
Aisha lifted her right hand forward.
"Psycho Cyclone Crusher!" Aisha hollered. "PLUS ULTRA!"
As Aisha closed her right fist, the energy sphere condensed and crushed the Synthezoid within. The robot released an excruciating scream while dealing devastating damage. The sphere disappeared into dissipating fragments, leaving only the Synthezoid completely motionless with blank eyes. Only the lower half and right side of the robot are demolished. The Synthezoid descended straight out of the sky and crashed to the ground.
The witnesses and spectators, along with Endeavor's children, Aisha's family, Hawks, and the Class 1-A students, watched the incredible amount of intense power that the pro hero and the UA student just unleashed.
While taking deep breaths, Aisha smirked at her and Endeavor's victory. But she doesn't have enough strength to hold herself together. She plummeted straight to the ground below.
As she continued falling, Aisha's eyes began fluttering with barely any conscious. She and Endeavor began to fall at the same time before crashing into the ground that released creating a shockwave to send several cars flying on the road.
Once an enormous cloud of burning smoke diffused, Endeavor was standing with one arm held high in the air as a victorious pose while holding an unconscious Aisha close to him with his other arm. Behind him was an incinerated High-End Nomu and a wrecked Synthezoid lying defeated on the ground.
The reporter and the crowd cheered passionately at Endeavor and Aisha's victory.
"Endeavor is still standing!" The female reporter announced with a relieved smile. "He did it! He's on his feet with his fist raised high! The UA student may be unconscious, but Endeavor managed to save her from her fate! A sign of victory! No, a symbol of a new beginning!"
In the teacher's lounge, All Might sat back on the sofa with a shocked yet relived face.
In Heights Alliance, Shoto crouched down as he was utterly relieved for Endeavor and Aisha's victory. Izuku, Luna, Diana, Kirishima, Selene, Yaoyorozu, Uraraka, Sero, and Aizawa went go over to check on him with reassurance.
Izuku and Luna looked back at the news as they couldn't take their eyes off of Endeavor. Even Katsuki looked at Endeavor on the TV screen. Even though All Might has effectively retired, heroes cannot stop moving forward. Class 1-A must keep fighting to carry his Symbol of Peace title now, no matter what it takes.
Enjoy and review.
