Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of the Cold Fire. Enjoy the 3900-word chapter. I don't own Frozen; Disney and a few others do.
(Arendelle.)
If Pyram found it at all annoying to be at the center of the attention around him? He didn't show it. He looked at Elsa who had hummed before they entered the castle.
He was honestly curious as to what the queen wanted to do next. She was someone whom he was still trying to get a read on. She was a very interesting woman, yet he crossed his arms across his chest before he hummed to himself.
Still? There was more time to question her as queen of Arendelle later. Now was the time to make sure that was an agreement between Arendelle and Ignis. Anything else was secondary to that goal. It'd be something that had to be done sooner or later anyway.
"Are you sure that everything is fine? I'd hate to cause an issue between Arendelle and Ignis." Pyram stated before he hummed and slowly started to step forward. "There's only so much that can be done to fix this," Pyram said as Elsa only waved her arms back and forth.
He hummed before he looked up at the sky, interested in what to do next. This was going to come to an end sooner or later. It was honestly curious to him how she slowly started to cross back and forth across the room which had been the giant dining room of the castle.
"No, it's not indecent, it's just a bit surprising to see that there are so many soldiers in Ignis," Elsa stated before she hummed to herself at the time. "I'm aware of the fact that they need so much security, you had been in a war? I believe you mentioned them in the letter?" Elsa questioned to which the Ignis King nodded.
He smiled to himself under his armor during the time. He nodded to himself before he shook his head.
"Sadly, yes. Very much sadly. We both know that something is going on and it's been a long day if I'm honest." Pyram said before he put a hand on his temples before he hummed to himself. "I don't know what's going to happen to the war and all of that when it comes to the topic, but I do wish to assure you that I hadn't been trying to get Arendelle's resources," Pyram said before he cleared his throat.
"It wouldn't be right to ask another kingdom to fight this, nor would I like to come off as some shameful ruler who cannon handle being on the frontlines of combat," Pyram added before he sighed to himself, rubbing at his temples as he questioned what the hell was to happen next.
There was so much power, yet he couldn't do anything with it. The idea that a king like him was so powerless in this position bothered him, but he didn't wish for that to be known.
There had already been enough suffering anyway. The idea of the war not being something that had crossed their minds even once to him. It would be disturbing either way. She knew better than anything their limits, though.
Still? if they were to get anywhere? He had to push it aside and go for the gold no matter what. That meant pushing aside the past no matter what as of the time being and focusing on what honestly mattered at the time even if he hated it.
There was a lot more on his mind than simply that as of the time being. he had to be more than what he was saying to be and more than what he wished to be at the time.
Elsa looked at her pyrokinetic counterpart and cleared her throat. She had a few thoughts of her own on her mind before now and she hadn't been one to be denied as of the time being.
Still? she cleared her throat and looked at the king who seemed to trying to be decide what to say or do next. Not the most horrid because none of them seemed capable of really arguing the point for the time being. it had been something both sides seemed to be deciding on as of the time being and it was breaking her out as of the time being when this was all said and done. It had been something that needed to be done and dusted for the time being. this had been something that needed to be ready and done with as soon as possible before now. she knew for a fact that he had been bothered by this as much as he had.
Still? This had been a problem that needed to be dealt with before it caused more issues when all was said and done for the time being. this had been something that had yet to be fully removed and controlled for the time being. It had been that way for a long period than usual.
This had been something for the time being. They had been ready for anything as of the time being. anything that was to do next as of the time being.
She cleared her throat before she tapped the table and drew the conversation towards her once more. It had been something that she had slowly started to get used to for the time being. this had been curious as of the time before it came down to it. there hadn't been present for the time being.
She cleared her throat while she seemed to question what was on the plate for now. this had been something.
Anything else actually seemed to be a dream at this. There was a lot more to say and do when it came to the politics of ruling. The idea that they had been in deeper water than possible had been something as of the time being. she had been questioned before this was said and done. It had been something fun for the time being.
Still? if she was honest? It had been a bit easier than she expected.
"We should make sure something had been settled before this talk is over. We both know that this will be a long talk for the time being and the last thing we should do is start this meeting off with some arguing and trying to all not get along for the time being." Elsa stated which got most of the attention for the time being.
She had been a lot more to question as of the time being. This had been a lot more interesting as the time being when it came to this before now. This had been something horrid as of the time being. This had been something minor she didn't wish had happened.
Still? if there were to be problems from this? Anything as of the time. This would need to end soon.
"Agreed. It'd be terrible not to deal with the proper congratulations and see what had become as of the time being." Pyram stated with a sigh before he frowned at himself. "What are we to agree on, though? There is much to discuss and we both wish to handle other things for the time being." Pyram stated before he hummed to himself.
Elsa hummed and looked around. There had been a few things she wished to think of what to say or do before now. it had been a hard thing to agree with now.
He sighed to himself before he clicked his fingers and looked around before now. It had been an odd little before now when this was odd for him and he knew for now. He had been surprised for this was odd for the time being.
Whatever came down to it would be weird for now. What to do next? What was their talk before this had been odd for him? He seemed to question before now.
"Whatever needs to happen next? Let's focus for now." Elsa stated before he sighed and rubbed at his temples, looking at the ground before he rubbed at his temples.
He had fallen silent for only a moment, questioning before he tilted his head before he seemed to oddly tilt his head.
He had been an odd little thing as of the second before he questioned when this was all said and before he said nothing before.
He had been a lot more focused on the mission at hand. Honestly? It made Pyram a lot more interested than it had been a little while for him to be interested in this. It had been an odd little part of his mind.
"What did you suggest for the supply trade that I've written about?" Elsa questioned to which Pyram hummed to himself.
"Respectable. I just don't entirely know what will happen when this comes down to it. The only problem is that I don't know if we have the most soldiers to transport it will help." Pyram added before he hummed to tilt his head. "I do want to point out that a lot of these defenses will be when it comes down to it. I don't entirely know what will happen if it comes down to the defenses that we have." Pyram added to himself more than here.
He fell silent. It felt as if he was trying too hard to do anything. Still? The odds and ends had been something that hadn't yet fallen apart properly. He knew more than she had been a lot more curious as to how to answer her question before now.
Still? He had been a lot more focused on this for now. It was a lot more focused for him when all of this was said and done and dusted. What the plan had been something off for now when it came down to it.
Still? The plan had been planted in his mind when this was done and dusted.
"Are you good?" Pyram said before he tented his fingers. "I am not a lot more prepared for this… I don't entirely know what I'm going to do. Anyway? Onto the mission? It's nice and fine when it comes down to it. The plan still needs to be ironed out. I don't know if we can properly handle the rest of the details." Pyram stated before he sighed to himself before he came down to it.
Pyram stated before he cracked his fingers before he seemed to question when this was done.
Elsa watched as Pyram cleared his throat, unsure of what to say or do in this situation. It wasn't exactly like she had a lot to answer for at the end of the day, there were a lot more problems to promote her issues with either way. If anything? She focused too much on how she'd be dealing with it.
"Are you fine discussing the terms here, to begin with? It's not like we have much to focus on." Elsa stated before he sighed, unsure of what to do when it came next.
"If that's what you wish, this is your land after all, isn't like I have any real room to ask anyone," Pyram stated before he tilted his head, questioning what would come after this if nothing else.
He was prepared for worse conditions than this. There was a lot more to discuss either way. The simple fact of the matter was what would become of this place when he was done with now. There was a lot more focus on his next move for now when it was all said and done.
If anything? This brought a little breathing room for the future, now with many things to be done and completed for the time. he knew what may or may not be in the future, what their past may or may not bring. There was nothing else stopping them.
Elsa looked around as she sighed. So much more to discuss and so little time to have done it within. Yes, this couldn't have been done for now. He hadn't the proper idea what was going to be happening, but he did know this was going to be interesting.
Pyram looked at Elsa while tenting his hands in front of him. he looked so amused. There was more here than what was coming, more here than he wanted, if anything? He was amused, a lot more caught off guard, but amused.
It wasn't exactly like the two royals had any real dislike of one another as they talked.
"We both know the trade route is going to be long and tedious, though," Pyram said while he set his hands on the table. "If I was to allow ships into Ignis? Well, that would also require a lot of security which may or may not mean I'll need more and more support as our kingdoms may or may not need some help with securing our borders." Pyram said to which Elsa only snorted as of the moment.
There was a lot more upon the mind for now. He didn't at the moment find it to be the most fun. He didn't at all know what was coming, didn't notice what else was to be done. He sighed, rubbing at his temples, too unsure of what to focus upon for now.
Still? He knew more than anything that was on the line if the deal didn't go through. There was more riding on the line than just their reputations and he knew it. He sighed, prepared for the worst. There was so much more he wanted to discuss, so much more he wanted to focus upon more tedious and more interesting tasks, but this?
Well, he couldn't say he didn't find it exciting to a degree. There was always more to learn when it came to be now.
Well, nobody said on-the-job training was off the table. It didn't entirely work as well as he expected. But then again? The problem was that there was nothing else to have done, nothing that could have been offered as a reward.
It made him laugh if only for a few seconds, there was so much more he didn't know. Did he want to know more and this? Well, it was fun, but it had to end sometime soon, it would certainly be fun to a degree, but it had to fall apart and die as much as he expected it to. There were a lot of details he left on and off the table.
Elsa cleared her throat as she looked around the room. So many things were left untouched as she pondered what to have done next for now. he had a lot more to focus on for now. This was a lot more of an odd little thing, something he couldn't have found to be less amusing if he tried. This little thing was just another puzzle that he had to solve sooner or later. It'd all fall into place sooner or later with enough problems when it came down to it.
Still? Pyram looked at her and from what she could be doing next. He was a lot more focused for now and it seemed as if she was able to get to relax for just a few more seconds than this for now.
Elsa purely didn't know what she'd do if she didn't end this sometime soon. He was forced more and more on the little things, pieces he had been forced to bury, to put into this type of work, it was such a fun little thing that he almost wanted to have laughed at it. the idea would have made him laugh and laugh and laugh till his insides hurt if he was allowed to focus on it for her.
He hummed, tapping a metallic hand on the table.
"If there's more to discuss, we may wish to do it ruler to ruler… No offense, you seem a lot more nervous than I am about being here, I apologize if my appearance reminds you of the last person who was here." Pyram stated with a sigh.
"No… Yes, it does. I believe you know what happened to the last person who was here, your highness." Elsa said to which Pyram snorted.
"Piece of rubbish, your majesty… If anything? I have… Reservations about the power I command. However? I understand it." Pyram said before he waved his hands back and forth. "Was there something within your letter before? I don't know what to handle, for now, your letter was vague for now." Pyram said before he sighed.
"I believe that we can discuss in the parlor if that's alright with you," Elsa stated to which Pyram shrugged, bringing his arms down upon the table.
This was something else on the mind, something else for now. it cut through their minds when it came down to it.
He wasn't stupid. Elsa had a lot more to focus upon. She was a queen, a ruler of just as much land as he, and who had just as much power as he.
This was something as the question of what may or may not come next fell upon their laps, making them both focus on now. He was to question himself just as much as her, he was to focus more and more on such little tactics and pieces of the puzzle that it almost broke him to pieces the time.
He didn't entirely know for now what to question before now, this was a lot more to him than there was before now. He wasn't much better; he wasn't able to relax or take this lightly at the moment.
It was a lot worse at the end of the day, a lot worse, this was just more to swallow and more to consume. Then again? He wasn't capable of much more than this. There was a lot more to focus upon. He was a lot more curious than now. This nightmare wasn't over yet, it wouldn't be over yet.
Still? He had a lot of details to get over with, this wasn't something he could just figure out easily, not yet at least.
He rubbed at his temples, too unsure of what to say, of what to do, or what to have said for now.
Then again? He wasn't at all sure of what to do next. This madness in his mind made him tired, but he was well aware of this… Very aware of the facts of the matter. There was a lot more to this, so much more than what he could have done or how this was for now.
He was able to relax. This was not the first time he had done such a thing. He wasn't able to take it easy, but he knew pretty well just what was at stake, how well he'd be able to relax, and how this could have gone before now.
This was going to be something fun as the two leaders faced one another. He and Elsa clearly had something to walk around, but it was still worth talking about and he was still able to relax, the only thing that could or would cause a problem was the fact that he wasn't able to relax. He wasn't able to find some sort of clarity for this.
No. it was just something bad, something awful that was banging around his mind and causing more and more problems for now. this wasn't something else before it came down to it.
He wasn't a lot more to question as of the time being. he leaned back in his seat, unsure of what to handle before it came to a head. He didn't know what else was going to have been going on. He didn't understand the situation, but he did know for a fact that their problems weren't all over for now… Not when it came down to the little things.
Yet? He wasn't able to focus on the issues at hand, but he did know that this was to be an issue. He didn't know and that scared him more for the time being. He was too unsure of what to do next. This was a lot more of a hard sell for such things and she was capable of such things when it was all over, all of a problem they could have been doing. It scared her to know how hard it was. How much she chewed through such people and how hard it was to be a queen.
No, this was still something that could be handled. He had to handle it or else a lot more people would be ripped apart, he had more to focus upon.
Pyram leaned back in his seat, looking around as he did so. They had a lot more problems, a lot more to have focused on for now. Such things did nothing to lament what else had been brought to heel, they had done nothing for him to back down… If anything? He wasn't capable of such a problem. He hadn't the proper focus, the proper mentality for such things. He didn't know what else he'd be capable of this.
Pyram wasn't going to be focused before for now, not with such as of the time… If anything? The terror within his mind made him scared.
"Is there anything else we should discuss, right?" Pyram stated before he hummed. "This was a long talk and I feel like if we don't come to some sort of conclusion, people are going to complain…" Pyram said, glancing at his brother.
"Says the king who was all nervous meeting the Queen of Arendelle on the way here." His brother said as Pyram rolled his eyes, snorting as he did so.
"Try being a king and pondering what to say, how to be polite, not tripping over your tongue, brother… Then we can compare notes." Pyram said before he turned. "Also? The end is up to us. I'm just not sure how well this is going to go." Pyram said to which Elsa hummed, too unsure as well.
The ruler of Ignis and Arendelle shared looks as both pondered their next words. both didn't know what to say, both didn't know for now. He didn't know what else to do, how else to happen for now.
Such an odd thing, one he could not hope to understand. Yet? If anything? He was far more terrified than he was before. He was far more thrown off, terrified of what was coming. No, such things are for now. He didn't know what was coming he was to focus more on politics, on the little people, and how this would bother them. It was a hard talk for them as was any talk, but the more they managed? Well? Some things could only stand to be fixed some more. It made her tired, and curious for now.
Yet? Some things could only be fixed with just a few words. well? He'd not be here. Such a thing could only have been when it was over for now.
