Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of the Cold Fire. Enjoy the 4600-word chapter. I do not own Frozen; Disney and a few others do.

(Arendelle.)

Pyram felt his boots slowly start to crunch through the snow, his armored body cracking his fingers as he looked downwards at the ground. He slowly and surely looked over at Elsa who had slowly started to tap her fingers against her side.

She was too unsure, unable to relax, knowing that he could only continue to relax, stamping her feet on the ground as the two paused, looking down at the snow.

"This isn't easy for you, is it?" Pyram questioned before he paused, looking downwards at the snow. "I can leave if you want… It is a personal deal, isn't it? It is a family thing." Pyram stated before he cracked his fingers.

He watched as Elsa hummed, unsure of what was going on. the duo was utterly unable to try and figure something out.

"NO, I am just a bit thrown off, they are not people you have been used to… They will not be as welcome to visitors." Elsa stated to which Pyram shrugged.

"Cannot say I blame them. Do you trust a visitor clad in armor like this? Because there is your answer." Pyram stated before he hummed.

Did he know more and more that the more he pushed Elsa? The more answers he might not get… However? There was no malice there and it would never exist. Pyram watched Elsa stamp a foot on the ground.

Elsa was utterly unsure of what to try and deal with for now as she hummed, unsure and thrown off. she slowly yet surely cleared her throat.

"Pabbie?" Elsa asked to which Pyram raised an eyebrow.

It was then he noticed the rocks… Stones almost as large as he began to move, they slowly yet surely stood upright… Perhaps he would…

They lifted themselves from the ground, becoming people in the process. Pyram watched as people… The size of small boulders seemed to move towards them.

"I can go if you want… I do not think I should be here." Pyram stated to which Elsa grabbed his hand.

The two rulers turned to look at the group and Pyram felt Elsa's magic begin to mix with his again… He did not know what to make of it, not at all, not even a little bit.

"Your majesty…" The head of the people seemed to say before Pyram bent down, Elsa's hand still clasped in hers.

"Who is your friend?" Pyram heard as he hummed before looking at Elsa who nodded.

"I am Pyram, king of the kingdom of Ignis in the northern regions of this world… Queen Elsa told me you may know something of this?" Pyram asked before he held up his hand.

The man slowly yet surely watched as a flame the size of a small ball seemed to spread within the palm of his hand slowly yet surely.

"The flame of the Phoenix?" The man asked as Pyram blinked.

"You know of such magic?" Pyram asked before the troll nodded.

"Yes, but we believed it lost… Your ancestor would not happen to be Falkner, would he?" The Troll questioned as Pyram blinked.

"My great grandfather? Yes…" Pyram said as he blinked under his helmet. "They do know who I am… I did not expect that." Pyram stated before he paused to look downwards at the ground, utterly unsure of what to deal with for now.

This was not something that could be dealt with for now. They had a lot more options for now, it would not be dealt with for now, utterly maddening. Yes, it seemed confusing to deal with in its mind.

They had other options that could be dealt with for now… It would continue to be utterly maddening.

"Hmm… It is rather confusing when it comes down to it." Elsa heard as she paused to look downwards at the ground.

Utterly unsure and uncertain of things was exactly how Pyram felt, pausing to try and look downwards at the ground before he paused to look upwards at the ceiling… They had a LOT of things to try and deal with for now.

Pyram could not for the life of himself think of what was being dealt with, not a single molecule of interest, it was always going to be something that could not be dealt with for now.

Perhaps that meant Pyram could relax… He would not be able to be dealt with for now… It just was not going to make him relaxed, thinking of what was going to be done with for now.

Yet? He had a lot of things that could not be dealt with for now… This was not going to be something that he dealt with. He had a LOT on his mind and he would keep relaxing, unable to fathom it.

He had so much upon his mind, so many emotions and cuts upon his psyche to overlook, knowing what would be done would never be undone and again? They had no real way to try and figure something else, he was tired, exhausted, thrown off for the moment, and unable to relax, this would not be dealt with personally.

They had a LOT more to try and figure something out as of now, an idea of which could bother people existed. She did not want to bother them; she did not want to bother Pyram as well and she knew for a fact that their issue was done with for now.

Pyram turned to look at her, pausing only to sigh and look downwards at the ground, pausing to look to his friends before finally finding the voice to speak to his friend.

"They are without a doubt the most interesting thing I have ever seen, something that I did not think existed… It is amazing." Pyram stated before he hummed and slowly yet surely looked downwards at the ground.

There was a lot more to try and understand as the king slowly yet surely seemed to straighten up.

"How do you know about the Phoenix? I have not heard anyone mention it since I was a child… And it was supposed to be a myth." Elsa heard Pyram hum before he sighed to himself.

"It is? The last king of Ignis did not want to hide it when it had been passed down to them." He heard as he blinked, unsure of himself once more.

"How do you mean? The last king was my father… I have known nobody that he is talked about." Pyram stated before he paused to himself.

The only thing he could deal with was something he could not truly seem to comprehend. It all did not matter to them but it did matter that someone had known of them all.

He paused, utterly unsure of himself and the answer he would give, knowing what would become of his people and his home was more important than anything, even if he did not know it for now, even if he could not deal with it for now and would not be able to relax.

"My father is no longer around, he no longer walks amongst the living," Pyram stated to which there was a frown as he paused himself again.

"I am sorry to hear that… He was a nice man, one who tried to make peace with many." Pyram heard as he paused to himself.

"Possibly, for now, I might agree," Pyram stated before he sighed and looked to the side, utterly thrown to the ground. "But? I will continue to remember him as a good person, even then? It would mean something to someone." Pyram stated as he paused, looking down at the ground before now…

It meant something to him and he would be happy to relax for now… Still? He had reasons to do so and reasons to… And would continue to do so.

He glanced over at where Elsa was, pausing to look at her, and then seemed to be utterly dealt with. She wore an amused smirk which told him she was trying to be amused but something threw her to the side.

She paused and looked downwards to the ground before looking at him. She yawned before he hummed and then fell silent, utterly relaxed.

They had a LOT more to do, a lot more when it came down to it at the time being, and she did not manage to relax.

"So, there are a few more seconds to think. I did not think I could expect to relax." Pyram stated before he turned to go look at Elsa. "There is something else to be dealing with… Like where we go from there." Pyram stated before he paused, relaxing for only a moment.

He did not know and could not pretend to know, it would be too awkward to think about it for now and what he held on his place and within such an amusement when it came down to it and it all, the idea was awkward and odder and odder.

Yes, it was a lot more to try and figure out as of now but it would be dealt with at the time being and would keep throwing itself off and throwing it to the side with chaos.

The idea before now, unsure of what to deal with for now… It could be dealt with, knowing what would be coming down at the line… The measure of which would not be dealt with. Not now and not ever.

The idea of it being something little would mean something to him and yawn once again for now and for good… It would be done for now as he cracked his fingers and then paused to look downwards.

There was a lot more to this madness and one measure of madness that could be utterly unsure of it at the time. He did not even know what was going on but he did know he could relax.

"Should I ask any other questions?" Pyram asked before he rubbed at his eyes. "This is all… A lot to take in for one day and it was going to be a hard bolt to try and figure out for now." Pyram stated before he paused to try and relax.

Yet? The king of Ignis could not be allowed to do something about it, not yet… No, not when he was still being pushed through the wringer. It would cut him to the quick, especially when he was thrown to the edge of his sanity now.

Yes, it appeared he would be dusted and done.

Pyram felt a cold and calming hand upon his shoulder and looked up to see Elsa next to him as the two joined hands, a frozen flame dancing between their palms.

"This is also what we wanted to talk about. I have seen my fire consume everything that has ever been in its way… Yet I feel a connection to Elsa I cannot explain." Pyram stated as he sighed and then looked to the ground. "Is there anything related to what we've heard so long that can explain that?" Pyram asked as Pabbie spoke.

"You both control primordial elements, things of the planet that have been around for long before anyone… I feel the magic might be calling to each other, singing to each other to try and connect in a way they do not without each other." Pabbie said as the two hummed.

"I am afraid I do not at all understand what you may mean, sir," Pyram said as Elsa hummed.

"Yes, me either. I can tell our magic is strong, but I have never seen it interact with magic in the world like this, not at all… It is very odd when it all comes down to it." Elsa stated.

Pyram stayed silent before he seemed to fall silent before he was relaxed and tired of now as he cracked his fingers and paused to look downwards at the ground.

It meant something to try and figure out again and again. It was a lot more tiresome at the end of the day, an idea that would keep being built again and again, too much to deal with it all for now with all duels going on.

He had problems, something that cut deeper and deeper into his mind, and he wished to see it through to the end.

This had the opposite effect and he wished it to be over and for good reason. He was tired, too interested in the next move, and not wanting to keep growing for now, and then paused to relax, too curious about what he was to do next.

Yet? He had not been able to try and deal with such an ideal. He looked over at Elsa who had straightened up for a few seconds, pausing to look to the side. Ice danced from her fingertips and his as fire flowed from his palms and towards her hands.

The ice and fire, snow and flame danced above their hands as both rulers focused their magic, interested in what was going on. Pyram had seen something like this but it was not anything like he had been used to before now, too tired for now and it was too odd.

He was still amazed at this, too thrown off by it and wanting to see it all end for now. He was curious by it as was Elsa who seemed to be watching this with sudden amazement as it seemed to become apparent their powers were odd.

Pyram looked to Elsa who had been tired of now and both looked over at the soldiers who had been too fascinated by it and thrown off for now. Not without a good reason at that moment, however when it came

"That sort of magic is rare, two primordial like you both do not get to interact often." Pyram heard as he paused.

"Hmm… Is it true this sort of magic is not common anywhere else?" Pyram asked as he turned to look at Elsa, raising an eyebrow.

"It is common enough to try and do something about it all, but not as often. I have simply not seen fire and ice interact so peacefully, one is graceful but ruthless and the other is powerful but all-consuming." Pyram heard.

He hummed as he knew that it meant that he was referring to him. The fire did not help everything, it consumed and cut through things in its way while ice and snow cracked and smashed anything in its way. Both were powerful, both would cut through the world like a sword.

She looked over at Pyram who had been hidden behind his armor, he was exhausted for now. He wanted to keep handling this for now and for good reason.

Pyram hummed to let it all sink in and he had a LOT more to try and deal with, too exhausted for now… He wanted to relax, he had a LOT more to try and deal with and paused to keep relaxing for now and then tired for now and then relaxed.

He did not know what to try and figure out something to keep growing for now and paused at the time before he did not manage to relax and then blinked to think of what to see and do next for now.

She knew what was going on with Pyram. She managed to relax and then pause, watching as magic seemed to dance around their fingers and then relaxed.

She had been interested in what was going to be done and what was left to do. Elsa paused to think of her next move, exhausted for now before she looked downwards.

Elsa hummed to let herself relax and then looked downwards at the ground, humming to pause, and then looking downwards before she relaxed. Elsa looked over to Pyram.

"You, ok?" Pyram asked and then let him rest his hands on his hips. "There is a lot more involved with this and I'm a bit interested in what is going on," Pyram stated to which he withdrew.

"What do you mean it is primordial? I do not at all understand what that name means." Pyram stated before he hummed and planted his hands on his hips.

"Their forces of nature, something that has been around longer than anything on the planet," Pabbie stated to which Pyram hummed.

"So, I and Elsa were destined to find each other?" Pyram stated.

"I am unsure of it… But I would not put it past the nature of things." Pabbie stated before he relaxed and then tired and looked downwards at the ground.

He had been tired, exhausted, and worn down… There was something else to try and deal with for now. It had been tiresome for now, too interested in what was going on. Pyram hummed and then yawned, looking over to Elsa.

"I suppose we are done here?" Pyram asked before yawning and then looking downwards at the ground.

He hummed and then wiped snow from his eyes, tired, exhausted, and worn down to the ground. He had been unwilling to deal with the magic of this caliber for now… And yet? He was willing to accept it for the time, to want to know the depths of his ideals.

He could tell very well what had been going on… What had been thrown to the side… Too interested for now… Something about it all seemed to be dealt with for now, it was chaotic, beyond all madness and it was what she had been with again and again.

Both rulers knew they wanted to figure this out but had no idea where to start, no idea where to go, and what to do with the information they had been given for now.

He was tired of now, too interested and he wanted to relax. however? That could wait and it would wait for now at the time being.

This would be interesting and something that he relaxed as he cracked his fingers and then looked downwards at the ground before slowly seemed to be utterly chaotic for now.

It was maddening as is to fix it but she would do her best to do so and do so in a meaningful way, all of it seemed to be utterly relaxed for now and he paused for as he seemed to be utterly tiresome for now… They had a LOT more to try and deal with for now… There was something else on his mind, too much.

Pyram simply stepped away from where he was, too relaxed to do any such thing… He would not allow it to end the way it should have.

Pyram seemed to keep trying for now, relaxed only in what he could deal with sorts of options. She did not look at him with any less mercy, this was a lot more chaotic an option for now, too interested in the next move they made.

Pyram simply rolled his eyes and then seemed to keep thinking, too unsure of things.

"Did you know about this at all?" Pyram asked as he and she walked towards the castle. "Because I cannot believe this is news to you," Pyram stated to which Elsa hummed.

"I didn't know what was going on but I guess the fates have different ideas for now," Elsa stated before Pyram hummed as it all came down for now.

Pyram hummed as both King and Queen looked ahead, too unsure of themselves, too unable to deal with it for now.

"There is more to talk about when we get down to this… I assume this does not affect the alliance?" Pyram asked.

"Hmm," Elsa said before she nodded, utterly chaotic for now.

"Well?" Pyram asked before he hummed and then she looked to the side. "You are a very cruel ruler, Queen Elsa," Pyram stated before he paused to relax, too interested in it all.

Pyram stated for now and then seemed to be too tired for now… He would not be able to do more than dwell upon what he had dealt with for now and yet? Pyram just wanted this done with but he would find it amusing that Elsa had some tricks up her sleeve that not even he could deal with it.

Pyram could relax, he wished to relax… There was something else here and he could deal with that well enough.

"I feel like you enjoy secrets…" Pyram stated as Elsa shrugged. "I enjoy being around you, Queen Elsa… You are one of the few people who can stymie me with these sorts of things." Pyram stated.

It was not much to deal with, not something to take lightly, he had faced worse, he had been through something like that, and yet? All he could deal with for now, too hard to deal with for now.

Pyram was tired of such tricks from others. Yet? With Elsa? She pushed him in a very funny way, it was enough that he could not allow it to end, not soon and not without sorts of conflict between them.

He would laugh again and again, too maddened for now at the time being for now as he paused to keep growing.

Pyram could not predict the next move, he could not wish to think of it like that, he was a warrior, he was a king and he acted like it in some manners, some of which he acted the best like… There was too much to deal with, something which he could not have allowed… Not at all, interested in something of what was coming next.

Whatever came next? This would not end anytime soon.

"Should I come back with more questions? I do not even know what is going on, only that they're scaring me with their words… I have not heard someone speak about magic for a while ago… Mainly because it has not been spoken of in years. Only my family knows about that sort of magic." Pyram stated.

Pyram seemed to be thinking of what was coming down the line, too interested in what was coming. Elsa hummed, holding her hands by her side as they seemed to be thinking of it again and again.

"I don't think I know what's going on, but I won't let that go to the head," Pyram stated before he hummed.

"Well, we can talk about it on the way back…" Elsa stated to which Pyram hummed, exhausted.

"Does this affect the deal we made at all? Because I have a feeling that we are going to be talking a LOT about what went a LOT more than you think." Pyram stated before Elsa hummed.

"I do not know… But I do wish to find out." Elsa stated.

"I find you more and more amusing the more I'm around you, I just want you to know this," Pyram stated to which Elsa nodded.

"You are rather fascinating as well, you know?" Elsa stated as the two began to think of what was happening next.

Pyram was silent, too interested for now. She was a lot more to try and deal with for now, she relaxed for now, too interested in what was coming down the line. She had been relaxed, and so had she. Elsa seemed to be amused as he was about it all for now.

She paused, thinking of what was coming, what their next move would be… She would relax, and he would relax.

"So, have any plans?" Pyram asked before he hummed, thinking of what to do next. "Because I have a hard time believing we're going to fall apart if we don't learn what this magic is and how to control it," Pyram stated as he paused, too interested in her as he turned to look at her before crossing his arms.

He was exhausted, worn down, tired even…. Yet. She and he had so many questions, so little that could be understood, unsure of it all and unwilling to take chances of it for now, there was a pause to try and think of the option, a pause to let it all end.

He was still amused despite himself, knowing that he could relax for now. Pyram could scarcely seem to relax for now as she paused to try and deal with for now and this all seemed to make him amused and tired.

"You know, I almost did not believe you were right when you talked about them. It is not easy to believe." Pyram stated as Elsa hummed.

"Magic isn't when you have magic?" Pyram heard.

"It's why I believed in it," Pyram stated before he relaxed and conjured a fire.

She had been an enigma to him. She had acted to which she could act… There were a lot more chances to try and conflict upon it for now… Even then? He knew better… He was not to relent, to back down… Too much could come as a result of it for now.

He hummed, causing her to look over at him. She knew him and he knew her and it felt like he had known it for a lot longer than that… Even then? She had been relaxed, too chaotic for now.

"We need to head off for now, there is going to be uproar if our people still try and think of us as enemies," Elsa stated as Pyram nodded.

"Indeed, the last thing I want is a war on our hands over vanishing for a few hours," Pyram responded as he hummed and looked over at her.

Both knew, both were aware of the math and both knew for a fact that she could not try and deal with such an idea. There was too much on the mind and too many details for an idea like this.

There was something else on the mind, too chaotically thrown off for now… Yet? She was confident for now, too relaxed for now… Too unwilling for now, too unwilling to die out as she paused.

There was something else here, something which he had yet to think of.

"What are the odds the other kingdoms will launch an attack on Arendelle while you are busy?" Pyram asked. "They know you are dangerous and they aren't just going to back off while they have a chance to do so," Pyram stated.

"I know Arendelle can handle itself but what are you suggesting?" Elsa asked.

"The Northern Isles are poised to strike over at Arendelle," Pyram stated.

"Hans," Elsa stated.

"Yes," Pyram stated. "I do not think his family is much better than him, they would not hesitate to strike at you… And while it might be not my place? I feel like I want to help." Pyram stated.

"It would make Ignis another enemy," Elsa stated.

"Ignis already has enough enemies. If it was not like that? We would be losing soldier after soldier… We do not, my people can handle themselves and they will. It is in our blood to fight as we always do and honor our friends." Pyram stated before he clicked his tongue against the roof of his mouth, ready to relax.

So much in exchange for so little at this point… Almost touching… Almost if he had managed.
