Chapter CCXXXXIV: Yen Sid's Castle Part IV
As Nozomi continued to lay in Auron's lap, looking around drowsily. No one knew exactly how to react, for what were they supposed to say to her? For with the truth that had been given to them, none of them knew what Nozomi would even do next either? For-?
"So? You've finally returned to the land of the waking have you?"
Hearing these words from her Master, Nozomi turned her eyes upward clearly startled! As she did so, looking to Auron with widened eyes she heard him continue on to say, "It looks like you still struggle to awaken even now, don't you?"
Nozomi silent hearing this, was still in the midst of shock. For she couldn't believe it! Looking at Auron, she couldn't help but say with her eyes threatening to tear up again, "Master... you're real! You're here, I...!"
Seeing her becoming overwhelmed by her emotions again, Auron was quiet for a moment before he told her, "Yes I am real, there is no question of that." However looking to Nozomi who was struggling still, he then told her, "Now you must calm yourself, remember what I taught you in your youth."
Nozomi hearing this, then quickly nodded her head and as she did so she remembered words from the past, "If you have control over your emotions, you will not falter in your future." With that she stood herself up and as she did so, it was not even moments later that Auron did the same.
Everyone was in silence as they lifted all themselves up finally too, they all remained quiet as they continued to watch the interaction between Auron and Nozomi.
Breathing in and out hard, Nozomi was trying to maintain the control of her emotions. She looked to Auron and instead of crying, she revealed a bright smile instead as she asked him, "...I haven't faltered badly have I?"
Seeing her trying so hard, Auron was quiet. However he released a small chuckle as he told her, "You've managed just barely."
Nozomi released a small chuckle of her own, feeling an overwhelming sensation of relief and happiness. As she did so, looking to him and remembering everything that had then occurred to her. She couldn't help but ask, "Master... have you come here to take me away?"
Surprised to hear her ask this, Riku was confused. Why would she say that?
Auron was quiet for a moment himself before he asked, "What makes you believe I would do so?"
Becoming confused herself hearing him ask this, Nozomi then explained herself, "Well...I mean, so we can go home." Then thinking of her original domain, she continued on to explain, "Because, that's where you want to go isn't it? So we can live in peace like we used to."
As this was said to her, Auron remained silent...however after a few moments had passed. He told her gravely, "...That is not something that is now possible."
Feeling a terrible of jolt hearing these words spoken in this tone, Nozomi was silent. Then she had to ask, "What?"
Auron was silent for a little more, before looking to Nozomi. He then told her, "I will explain to you, my story... the story of how I met my end." With that he revealed all that had happened to him and how he came to meet his end. While the others looking on with heavy hearts, already knew what the terrible conclusion to this tale was.
"Met it's end..." Auron finally concluded.
Everyone remained silent, but the one who couldn't echo a word at all. Was Nozomi, who looking down to the floor was trying to absorb everything Auron had just told her. She couldn't believe it... the person she'd been looking forward to meeting again for so long, that she had been wishing for, wanting so badly to be with again. He was...?
Riku, Mickey and Cait sith continuing to look on at Nozomi didn't know what to do. They could tell she was in shock, but that was only natural. Having heard the tale of her Master's death, Riku could only imagine the pain she must have been in, but even that was too much to feel. For she'd already been through enough! Thinking this, he went to take a step to go towards her, but before he could properly move-!
"So..." he came to a stop, as Nozomi began to echo her thoughts, "You died, all that time ago when I was eight?"
"That is correct," Auron replied. Then as he did so, with a sad look in his eyes he added, "My time of living came to an end a long time ago."
Hearing this, Nozomi was quiet. She couldn't believe Auron was dead, so she had to ask him, "How? How can you be here then? To tell me all of this? I mean-!"
"Because this is the Underworld," Auron answered. Then as he did so, he looked up to the darkened rocky caverns of the bleak terrains of the world of the dead. As he did so, he continued on to say, "All souls come to this plane eventually..." then turning back to Nozomi who looked to him still in the midst of her shock, he revealed, "And after I was freed of Hades control, I was unable to move on to join Hikaru and Makoto."
"Why?" Nozomi asked, feeling a rising pain within her heart.
Auron then answered, "Because I had to see you again...just one last time, to tell you the truth and to apologise for my absence."
Nozomi hearing this, feeling her tears brim along her eyes again fought desperately to stop them from leaking out. As she did, almost gasping she asked, "So does that mean that... you'll vanish?"
Auron then made a single nod in answer.
Then shaking as this was the terrible truth, Nozomi asked, "And...I'll never get to see you again, will I!?"
Again, Auron made a nod in answer.
"NO!" With that Nozomi collapsed onto her legs! As she did, she cried out holding her head in her hands, "No! No! No! No! I don't want that! I don't want to be all alone like this! I don't want this!"
Seeing her in pain like this, immediately everyone reacted to her distress. "Nozomi!" "Nozomi!" Nozomi lass!" With that they all went to go to her!
"Stay away from me!" Coming to a quick halt, they watched as she continued to kneel on the floor. As she did, she then cried out, "I don't want any of you near me!"
Mickey immediately began to ask, "Nozomi? What-?"
"You've all just wanted the Fragment in my body since the start of all this!" Everyone was shocked as she said this, then as she did so. She turned and looked to them all enraged, as she did she then added spitefully, "Even now! You just came all the way here to reclaim it!"
Riku was appalled as he then told her, "That's not true!"
Nozomi wasn't listening as she continued on hatefully turning away, "And you just want to put an end to me! Then forget like I was never here! You're all just-!"
"Stop talking!"
"Huh?"
HUG!
Shocked, Nozomi suddenly felt someone run over to her and as they did... she was embraced tightly from behind! She was too startled to speak and in this moment of interruption, she heard Riku's voice say, "Don't say anything more like that...!"
Feeling his touch, Nozomi went to try and wrestle her way out of his hold saying, "Let go of me! Let go!"
"I won't!" As she heard his voice, she felt his strong arms wrapped around her trembling against her struggles. As they did so, she heard Riku continue on to say, "What makes you think it's only because of the Fragment we're here with you right now!" Then saying that, he asked, "Do you think all that time we spent with you together as comrades meant nothing!?"
Quiet as she heard these words... Nozomi trembled herself inside. She wanted to believe it was more than just the Fragment that had brought them together. But she couldn't help but remember the memory she had recovered in her time of isolation...when Hari had tried to unlock her for the first time in Mickey's castle. As she did, struggling with her sorrow she said, "But I just dragged you along with me...! The only reason I met you all was because of the Fragment, it was the thing that made us be together! It was-!"
"It's not the soul reason of everything!" Riku then argued with her!
"Huh?" Nozomi uttered baffled.
As she did this, Riku continued on to say, "Didn't you care to think about our own feelings!?" Then tightening his grip around her, Riku told her, "I'll tell you this honestly, I never wanted to follow you in the beginning!"
Freezing as she heard this, Nozomi asked, "You didn't?"
"No I didn't!" Riku told her, then with those words he continued on at almost the same angry pace that Nozomi had been speaking in as he said, "You were so annoying! Whinging! Impulsive! Always butting your nose into things you didn't need to! You're one of the worst troublemakers I've ever known!"
Nozomi would have become normally angry beyond all reason at these insults, but now instead she only became depressed.
"But...!" Feeling his touch again, Nozomi felt his tenseness soften slightly. As it did his words became more gentle in tone too as he said, "Despite all that, I saw so much of your positive energy too, your kindness, your willingness to trust and believe in others...no matter who or what they were!" Not expecting him to say any of this, Nozomi then heard Riku continue on to say finally, "...In all that time, you became someone so precious to me, a dear person that can't ever be replaced!"
Her eyes widening hearing this, Nozomi couldn't believe what she was hearing! She was sure she'd never heard Riku say such a thing before to her. Her heart raced with her own warm feelings of affection for him, then as it did so she finally heard Riku say, "And I would never allow you to be unlocked! I never want to lose those memories... or the feelings I hold for you either! I don't want you to disappear!"
Her heart racing more and more as these words of sincerity were said, the terrible pain that had weighed heavily upon Nozomi's heart was lifted tremendously. As it was, she had an overwhelming sense of awe and relief that she couldn't help but echo gently, "...Riku."
"Oi! Don't you be forgettin' about us!"
Turning then, Nozomi saw that quickly making it over to her and Riku was Mickey along with Cait sith. Looking at them both, the female keyblader uttered, "You two-!"
HUG!
Then immediately the red clad mouse King and crowned cat went over and wrapped Nozomi in a warm embrace with Riku. As they did so, Nozomi could feel all their warmth through their touch. As she did so, she couldn't believe all this care that was being given to her.
Cait sith on her head, feeling her familiar dark locks told her, "Lass! Ya always keep givin' me these darn headaches! But still... without ya, I would never have got to be with me highness again nor make a mate like yaself!" Then rubbing his head into her, he added, "And I ain't ever lettin' ya go vanishin' on me till ya ge her back for me!"
Mickey hearing this then decided to add gently, feeling her warmth, "And I promise ya too Nozomi, we ain't gonna let you go like that... no matter what you hold inside, it doesn't matter whether yer a Broken Heart or not." With that he added, "Yer our dear pal and comrade... without ya, there's no team here is there?"
Hearing all these words and all this warmth... deep down, Nozomi could feel their pure sincerity and love for her. As she did, she couldn't help but utter, "Riku...Mickey...Cait sith... all of you!" Then looking above herself, her feelings couldn't be held back and in another moment-!
"WWWAAAGGGHHH!"
A big cry was released from inside her, as the hurt and pain flowed out from her warm tears... Nozomi's wounded sad heart was finally being mended from the kindness and strength of her friend's feelings for her...
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Sniffling a little as she had released that cry, Nozomi was red in the face as she tried to wipe away her running snot with a white handkerchief that had been given to her by the King. As she continued to wipe away and blow, she couldn't help but complain slightly saying, "Man... this is so embarrassing!"
Sighing Riku looking down at her, couldn't help but comment with a small awkard smile on his face, "Well what do you expect? I don't think there's anyone who has such a thing as a beautiful crying face."
Mickey nodded and laughed as he heard this and added, "Yeah that's true!"
"Speak for yaselves lads!" Cait sith said, with that he added, "Me highness Oralee was beautiful no matter the situation! Even when she balled!"
Riku then couldn't help but retort, "Well that would help if we remembered who she was!"
"Oi that was uncalled for mate!" With that he leaped away from Nozomi's side and landed straight on Riku's head and cried out, "I'll teach ya for thinkin' less of me Highness, ya dumb Snowball!" With that he started to pull back hard on his white locks!
"Hey!" Riku cried out loudly! With that he tried desperately to get the assaulting crowned cat off of himself!
Seeing them both running around oddly like this, everyone was quiet. However after a little Nozomi couldn't help but laugh loudly. Even Mickey couldn't help but smile and comment, "Well this is a unique reversal!"
Auron watching on having been silent all this time, couldn't help but smile as well. As he did, he commented to Nozomi, "Well it looks like you truly have made a band of true companions... you've been must fortunate in my absence."
Hearing him say this, Nozomi turning to look at him from where she was sitting saw the warm smile on his face. As she did, she finally lifted herself onto her feet properly and stood to face him. Doing so, feeling a little ashamed at her tear stained face she said, "Master..."
Auron seeing Nozomi's eyes were on him, he continued on to speak, "I don't need to tell you now that you're not alone in this world, do I?"
Hearing him ask this question, Nozomi revealed a small smile and shook her head saying, "...No you don't." Then looking down, she apologised to Auron, "I'm sorry for being so disgraceful in front of you... I know you wanted to raise me better than that and I-"
"There is no reason for you to apologise," Auron told her. Then as Nozomi looked back up to him, she heard him continue on to say, "You have raised yourself well, without me."
"What?" Surprised to hear him say this, Nozomi quickly became quiet as Auron began to speak again.
"From what I can see, you have your faults... but, you have found tremendous strength," then Auron revealed a light of pride in his eyes as he went on to tell her, "I have seen your power in battle, here in the Underworld and the strong bonds you have created with your friends... you truly have achieved so much, you've done incredibly well in my absence."
Amazed hearing this, Nozomi then had to ask trembling, "You mean I've-?"
"You have proven how truly strong you are to me, Nozomi..." then looking at her, he decided to add, "I am glad to have had you as my charge as a Guardian and I know, that Hikaru and Makoto would have been proud of you too if they were here."
"Master...!" Nozomi couldn't believe it, the words she always wanted to hear and yet thought she never would. She couldn't help but gasp, trying to hold herself together inside.
Immediately hearing this escape of air from her, everyone became silent and stopped their frolics to see what would next occur.
Seeing the overwhelmed expression of wonder upon Nozomi's face, Auron's smile lingered. He was glad then, pleased to have finally told Nozomi what he had always wanted to, to see her grow into a fine young woman, which he knew Makoto and Hikaru could be proud of. He had fulfilled his promise.
GLOW!
Surprising Nozomi and everyone in seconds, they all saw Auron's body began to glow! As they did, quickly in surprise and shock, the female keyblader ran to him and cried out, "Master!"
As she did this, Riku looking on had to ask, "Mickey is Auron now-?"
Nodding Mickey then answered, "Yes, he's moving on... his promise has been fulfilled and his purpose." Then with a sad smile he decided to add, "I suppose he's on his way now to be with his his friend's Hikaru and Makoto again."
Quiet as he heard this, Riku looked on with the King and Cait sith as Nozomi finally made it over to Auron and hugged him tightly. As she did this act, she was practically begging him and crying, "Master don't go! Please don't go now!"
Hearing her pleas, Auron with a small smile gracing his face told her, "I can't any longer...forgive me Nozomi, for having you wait so long and for having you suffer the pains of loneliness and uncertainty in my absence."
Shaking her head, Nozomi pounded one of her hands against Auron's chest. Feeling his form lessen under her touch, she was now frustrated! She couldn't help but complain wishing, "Why do you have to go now!? This has ended too soon! It's not fair!"
A sad smile on his face Auron then told her, "I know it isn't fair... but this is how it is supposed to be," with that wrapping his arms around Nozomi himself. He continued on and told her, "My part in your story has now ended...you must continue to weave your tale and use well the strength you have grown and the bonds you have built."
Struggling, Nozomi nodded her reply. For she knew if she said a word then... she would most likely crumble into a worse mess.
Seeing her acting like the crybaby he knew so long ago as a child, Auron smiled. Then as he held her close and the atoms of himself continued to glow and float into the darkness. He revealed one last thing to her, in her ear, "And remember this, even if you are one day unlocked... I will never forget you, for I am no longer bound by the laws of the living."
Nozomi hearing this was quiet with surprise, but it was clear she became quickly relieved. Relieved that there would be one existence who would always remember her... this comfort along with the strength and certainty of her friends was all she needed. She knew in heart she could move forward now.
Feeling her warmth with every last essence of his being, Auron then told her his last words, "Goodbye, my beloved strong Nozomi."
Hearing him and realising this was the end... Nozomi then told him in reply, "Goodbye, my beloved and only Master..."
SHINE!
With that said, in the blink of an eye... Auron's warm robed form vanished into the dark air escaping Nozomi's fingers. But with the light shone above brightly for that brief moment, everyone had complete certainty that the red clad warrior had passed on properly. To be with those who had waited perhaps an eternity to be with him again... and Nozomi knew deep down, that one day in the far future. She would see her Master once more. Until then it was time for everyone to return to where they were all needed...
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
It was sometime after this emotional event that everyone had returned to Yen Sid's castle with the power of the Seventh Fragment. Nozomi and her comrades had been greeted with warm words of relief and happiness at their safe return. Then after many questions had been answered at how the crisis had occurred and what they encountered within Hades domain, Yen Sid had requested for Nozomi to come and speak to him alone.
Standing before his elegantly decorated grand green door, with Riku along with Mickey and Cait sith. Nozomi didn't say a word, she was nervous it was clear to be seen as she stood dressed in a fresh pair of white pyjamas.
Seeing her acting with uncertainty as she fidgeted a little, Mickey looking to his comrade then asked her, "Are you doin' okay, Nozomi?"
Hearing him ask this question, looking to him the female keyblader replied, "Yeah your majesty, I'm fine..." then she just decided to admit as she continued on to say, "I just, it's just this Yen Sid guy... I don't know how I'm supposed to act around him."
As she said this, Cait sith told her, "Well that's obvious lass! Ya just gotta act on yer best behaviour! This guy is the most powerful sorcerer there is! He's at a level ten times higher in level of magic compared to that old Merlin!"
Shocked to hear this, Nozomi asked, "He is!?"
With a single nod, Riku then told her, "He is," however he decided to add, "But just because he is, doesn't mean he isn't human."
As she heard him say this, Nozomi then asked, "What do you mean by that?"
Mickey then with a smile explained, "Riku mean's this, he'll understand your situation." With that the Mouse King explained further, "He can be strict as a teacher, but he does have a caring side... it's just a bit hard to notice, don't let his intimidating appearance fool you."
As she listened to this, Nozomi surprised decided to ask, "How do you know that, your Majesty?"
Hearing her question, Mickey then answered, "Well I know that, cause Yen Sid was my-!"
"Nozomi Tao,"
Surprised the dark haired keyblader turned in the direction where the voice had sounded. As she did so, she was quiet as the others were as she heard the voice from beyond the door continue on to say,
"You may enter now,"
Gulping a little as she heard these words, Nozomi stepped forwards. But just before her right hand touched the doors surface, she heard, "Good luck in there lass!"
Turning to look behind herself, she saw it was Cait sith who'd cried this out. As he made a wave to her, Mickey nodded with a small smile before Riku told her, "We'll be here if you need us, okay?"
Hearing Riku's gentle encouraging words, Nozomi nodded her reply to him and simultaneously to Mickey and Cait sith. Then doing so, she opened the door and said before leaving, "See you guys in a bit!" With that she closed the door behind herself, as she entered Yen Sid's room.
…
After making it into the room, Nozomi sat herself upon a small green cushioned chair that had been prepared for her. While before her, sitting at his desk was the blue robed and long grey bearded sorcerer himself.
Nozomi had her head down and was holding her hands tightly together. As she did and she felt Yen Sid's serious gaze upon her, she had no idea what to do. What was it this man was going to say?Would he chastise her for leaving the castle? For causing trouble or-?
"Miss Nozomi?"
Standing to attention in her chair with almost a jolt, the female keyblader cried out, "Oh yes!?"
Seeing her act so startled as she looked to him, like a cat in head lights. Yen Sid was quiet, however after a moment he told her, "I was about to ask if there is anything you would like to drink at all for now."
Hearing him ask this question, Nozomi then replied, "Oh um... no I'm okay, thank you, Mr Yen Sid."
As he heard her say this, the sorcerer then decided to tell her, "You don't have to call me Mr, Master would be a good enough title."
Hearing him say this, Nozomi then made a little nod and replied, "Alright...Master Yen Sid."
With those words said, the sorcerer then saw that finally Nozomi had settled her gaze upon him. He then regarded her quietly, with a serious all encompassing stare.
As he did this, Nozomi didn't know how to react. All she did was stare back at him quietly and wondered to herself, what it was she he was trying to see in her?
After looking at her for a couple of more moments, he then decided to speak again, "I can tell you are clearly worried about what it is I am going to speak to you about...so?"
Curious about this pause, Nozomi repeated, "So?"
Yen Sid then continued, "Are you prepared to engage upon the issue that I want to discuss with you?"
As he asked this of her, Nozomi then replied after a small pause, "...Yes, I am." Then saying those words she continued on to say, "I was ready to talk about anything with you when I entered this room."
With those words given to him, Yen Sid revealed a small smile as he replied, "It is good to see your confidence and determination has started to flourish again because of the support of his Majesty and your friends." Then saying those words, he returned to the matter at hand and continued on to say, "Now, I must ask you how you will now proceed."
Puzzled by this, Nozomi repeated, "Proceed?"
Yen Sid then explained, "That is correct, with the endeavour that is now at hand." Then saying that, he continued on to say, "As the existence that you are, as a Vessel for the Seventh Fragment of the ultimate keyblade, you are aware that Maleficent and various others are after you along with the rest who share your fate as Broken Hearts."
Nodding as her reply, Nozomi then went on to say, "Yes, I'm aware of that..." then saying those words, she held her middle and continued, "Also what way they'd use to get the Fragments and what would happen afterwards to us."
Hearing that she knew, Yen Sid already knew that this was the reason Nozomi had tried to runaway from them and that also had nearly led to her demise. Remembering this and knowing of the grief she had gone through. it had led to him imagining a possible resolution that would give her some peace along with the other Vessels, "...Then I will tell you now, there are two possible paths for you to take from this point onwards."
"Two paths?" Nozomi asked.
Hearing her repeat his words, Yen Sid then explained, "If you do not wish to face the dangerous reality of being forever chased and the possibility of being Unlocked, losing your very existence to those feared foes... I have a method that would allow you to sleep."
Surprised to hear this, Nozomi asked, "Sleep?" Then becoming further curious she asked, "What do you mean by sleep?"
Yen Sid then explained to her, "As I have said, I will have it that you are placed in an enchanted sleep..." then with serious eyes he further explained, "One where you will be kept in a secret chamber within the walls of my castle, where no-one will be able to touch you and the others if they wish to go through the same procedure." Hearing this Nozomi was quiet with surprise, but she continued to listen on as Yen Sid concluded, "There you will be kept until Sora and the rest are able to take down Maleficent and her accomplices, then when we have acquired the other Vessels and placed them in the same state, we would research into a method that would allow us to acquire the Fragments without you all needing to be Unlocked."
Nozomi was silent hearing this. Her hands were upon her knees and as they were, she clenched them tightly... for it was true, she was scared of being Unlocked and also of being forgotten still. However not wanting these fearful feelings to overwhelm her, she decided to ask, "And what's the other possibility?"
Hearing her ask, Yen Sid then explained, "You will continue as you are now and have the support of your friends, with my guidance and eyes on you, as you continue your fight against the foes who are waiting to snatch away your Fragment, which would mean your life itself."
It was clear as he said those words, Nozomi was visibly uncomfortable as she clenched her hands tightly still. As she did so, she tried to hide the shivers that were threatening to overwhelm her being.
As he saw this reaction in her, Yen Sid then decided to ask her, "If you are to take that path, will you be able to handle the fear and uncertainty that comes with living as you are now?" Then he decided to ask further, "Knowing that you may cease to exist and never be remembered by anyone?"
Stopping as she heard this being asked of her, Nozomi paused to think of what to say articulately. Then finding her words after a little bit, she continued on to say, "I, I won't deny it, it does scare me... the possibility of that happening, becoming Unlocked." However she quickly remembered the warmth of her friends that comforted her, then finally the last words given to her by her Master Auron, 'Even if you are one day unlocked... I will never forget you.' As she felt this warmth and the certainty of her Master, Nozomi then faced Yen Sid and continued on to say, "...But I know I'm not alone, everyone's with me and my Master will always remember me." Then feeling a new source of strength blooming within the depths of her heart, the female keyblader said with this rising confidence, "I want to face the future, alive and awake with my friends as the source of my power!"
Hearing this, it was clear that Nozomi had made up her mind. As she did so, Yen Sid was silent. However he couldn't help but ask her, "Did you learn those words of certainty from Sora?"
Puzzled by this response, Nozomi asked, "Sora?"
Seeing she clearly hadn't, Yen Sid simply smiled in response and made a small shake of his head as he responded, "It's nothing don't worry." Then with that he decided to tell her, "With this path you've chosen, I just hope you can continue to hold your head high and face what trials next confront you."
As she heard this, Nozomi then made a small nod as she replied, "Yeah, I hope so too." However she couldn't help but add, "...However I know for certain, I could never choose to just sleep away my problems, because I know deep down Wairu and Oralee wouldn't want that for me, I wouldn't be able to face them again if I did that."
Hearing the names of two of the lost Vessels, Yen Sid remained silent. For there was not much left for him to say now.
However Nozomi feeling herself strengthened from the conversation, she couldn't help but be curious. Looking to the sorcerer as she thought of her question, she decided to ask him, "Master Yen Sid?"
Watching her look to him, Yen Sid then replied, "Yes Nozomi?"
The female keyblader seeing she had got his attention, then asked her question, "...The keyblade that I have," with that she extended her right hand out and in seconds-!
SHINE!
It appeared immediately in a shine of light. As it did so, she continued on to ask, "Why did it come to me?" Then as she asked this, she looked down to her body and asked, "Is it only because of the Fragment, that I have this power now?"
With this question asked, Yen Sid was quiet as he looked over to the 'Starseeker.' As he did so, making his careful observations, he finally told her, "I would have to admit in observation, that it probably did come simply because it was attracted by the light of the Seventh Fragment as the other worlds have been drawn to you on your travels."
Hearing this, Nozomi then uttered with a small dejected smile, "Why am I not surprised?"
However he decided to tell her, "However..." Nozomi stopping her smile, she looked to Yen Sid puzzled and continued on to say, "During your travels, it could have developed a close connection to you due to the strength of your heart." Quiet again as he thought for a moment, he decided to continue on to say, "But that is not something that can be discerned now...for a Keyblade can be fickle as a weapon since it has a life of its own."
Feeling a little better saying this, Nozomi replied, "I see..."
Yen Sid though decided to ask her, "But tell me? Even if a Keyblade had never come to you, do you believe it would have made you a lesser being after everything you've been through up till now."
As this was put to her, Nozomi was quiet. However, she quickly knew the answer deep down and so responded with a smile, "No it wouldn't, not in the slightest!"
Pleased to see this shining certainty, Yen Sid told her, "Well then, do not think less of yourself," for then he continued on to say, "For the circumstances of how came you be, do not shape the rest of your future."
"You're right," Nozomi replied. Then saying that, she knew what it was she had to do next. With that she stood up from the chair, "And now it's time for me to take control of my future and create a new hope for us who are Vessels."
Seeing her walk away, Yen Sid smiling still then told her, "I pray you will shape that future well."
Coming to a halt before his green door, Nozomi then told Yen Sid as she turned to look back at him for a moment, "I'll try to." Then with that, the female keyblader went through the door and went to tell her friends her decision and with their help try to decide with them what it was they should do next...
