Chapter CCLVII: The Weapon Known As Lachesis Part XII

Everyone was silent... taking in the sight of what had occurred in the past. No one could quite believe it! Nozomi with her hand covering her mouth, felt her eyes water from the sorrow. For seeing what had happened to her arch enemy, she uttered finding it hard to say the words, "Hari she... her heart was-!"

"It was..." Kagi it was clear was finding it difficult to talk about too. However swallowing his own sadness explained, "Her heart was broken, deliberate by Rosso's manipulation...so she would become the weapon that she always wanted."

Sora though hearing this and trying to conceal his own tears, asked, "How did she get a Heartless though to do something like that!? How-!"

"She must have engineered it," It was then that Mickey gave his explanation. He looked saddened as he continued, "She must have designed a machine to create it that way, just as Xehanort did in the past." For looking to the screen he remembered when he first encountered Hari and when he had peered into her green eyes. That same coldness he saw then, were the same as in the past... he now had the confirmation of what he suspected.

Kagi was glad for Mickey's explanation and he gave everyone more information as he went on to say, "Yeah she did, I discovered it back then." With that, everyone saw the images on the screen

changed again.

There they all saw that the converted girl in a training room, fighting countless after countless numbers of Heartless. Dispatching each and every one with total ease and cold grace. However it was not an enchanting to see, for as she fought on everyone saw that no matter what came at her. It didn't slow her down nor stop her, no matter what cut into her, bit into her, slashed her or beat her... the young girl would just get back up and strike.

However as Pete looked on, it hurt him to see this. For looking on, he saw that even then no matter how powerful she was. The scars from the fighting remained and as it continued, with her small being left in scratches and terrible marks... it was painful for him to see. He shivered as he remembered his own moments he had shared with her, the pain she must have really been in was-!

"Rosso tempered her further and further, getting her to the physical peak of perfection..." With that everyone saw the images change again. As they did, looking on everyone was silent but then-!

"It's them!?"

Shocked as she cried this out, Riku standing her looked at her puzzled as he uttered, "Nozomi?"

Pointing to the screen herself now, she declared, "I've seen them!" For looking on, the female keyblader saw, that Hari was now fighting. A Knight.

But not just any knight, it was a Chaser. One of the many that she had to fight against when she interacted with the Lachesis Reports. As she thought of them, she then explained so to everyone and they were all quickly in shock.

Riku remembering the times she'd fainted when touching the report cubes, asked, "You had to fight them too?"

Nozomi nodded rapidly in reply.

Kagi seeing this was quiet. Noticing this, the dark haired female keyblader looked to him and asked, "Kagi? Do you know something about this?"

The young green haired boy remained silent. But then as he looked to the screen, he saw one particularly evil figure reappear. As she did, he then said to everyone looking back their way again, "She'll tell you herself..."

With that everyone looked to the screen again. As they did they watched on, though everyone all held deeply negative feelings to the one who who being speaking again. Rosso Crimson...

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Watching her child from the observatory window of the training facility, Rosso was smiling. As she gazed on she commented with a proud grin on her face, "Looks like the data we acquired was accurate."

"Indeed!" Sidolfus said in agreement. Then looking down to Kagi who avoided eye contact with him, he continued on to say, "These Vessels have proven most effective in re-creating the powers of the past Chasers."

However Kagi who was standing beside her, being forced to watch on with Doctor Sidolfus holding him by his young shoulders. He hated it, seeing Hari being forced to fight like this. The Heartless were bad but-!

ZZZAAAPPP!

Seeing her fall to the floor, as the dark blue knight she faced struck her with fierce thunderous power. He turned his head away, but in the next second-!

"Fifteen!" Shivering as he heard that number, Kagi was forced to listen as Sidolfus continued on to say, "It's remarkable! How she's been able to withstand such fierce power from a Thundaga spell!"

Looking down, the young boy knew what would happen next. For again he saw his young friend had lifted herself back up onto feet and-!

SWOOSH!

She took off with incredible speed and fast approaching the knight-!

SLASH!

She cut straight into him, using her newly burning red Keyblade! Looking on, as this ferocious bout continue, Kagi couldn't believe how she'd so quickly adapted to using this new weapon. But the more she fell and got up, the more she came back inflicting increasing damage against her foe!

The way she fought was incredible but it was also-!

BLAST!

Terrifying for him to see! For he still couldn't come to terms that this personwas the same girl he knew, for as he remembered the tearful smile she'd given him just before she'd lost her heart. It just didn't match with this... person, who had just eradicated the knight. Making it fall apart and turn into many digitised cubes.

As he saw this and she turned to look back up at them, those cold heartless eyes chilled him inside. But then-!

CLAP! CLAP! CLAP! CLAP!

Rosso applauded her child and said, "Well done Lachesis!" Then as her daughter withdrew the keyblade in a sparkle of light, she continued on to say, "You have performed most superbly!"

Then the young girl responded, "Thank you, Mother."

Kagi looking to Rosso himself, couldn't think of what it was that she would have Hari do next. But he quickly got his answer, "Soon...you will be unleashed onto the field of battle."

Horrified at this, Kagi repeated, "The field!?"

Sidolfus though grinned hearing this and asked her, "Ah? So you're going to have her go against Xehanort personally then?"

"Of course!" Rosso commented. Then her eyes fell onto Kagi.

He wanted to take a step back away from her, but with Sidolfus holding him firmly in place. That was not something that could occur. Looking up to her still shivering, he then heard the chilling woman say, "And you will most certainly be there to view it with us, won't you my darling Kagi?"

The young boy shivered but looking down, he replied weakly, "It's not like I have a choice do I?"

"Obviously not," The sinister woman replied. Then looking back down to her daughter, she said, "Sidolfus, I trust that you can take care of the next arrangements."

"But of course!" Then with that he was on his way, taking a reluctant Kagi with him.

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Walking into the battle arena that Hari had only just been fighting within. Kagi entered the space with Sidolfus from the elevator, as he did so he saw further ahead that the same girl was exiting through another doorway.

Seeing her back as she left them behind in there, Kagi looked on sadly. Since she'd been changed into this 'weapon', neither of them had been able to exchange a single word since then... he wasn't sure if she even remembered him anymore.

"Now then," however uncaring towards his sorrow. Sidolfus was in another section of the room, picking up a dark cube he then said, "To collect this loose scattered data." Pressing down a certain button upon the mechanism, in seconds-!

FLASH!

In moments the scattered remains of the Knight, returned to the black cube as a series of smaller darker blue cubes that flew through the air. As they all raced about and finally entered the cube, the container flashed blue for a moment before... silently coming still. It's task complete.

Seeing this occur, Kagi wasn't that amazed since he was feeling so downhearted. All he did was listen on as Sidolfus said, "Perfect! Now with this and the other compilations of data, we have created the perfect training programs and guardians."

Curious about this last title he'd given the digital apparition, Kagi asked him, "What's that supposed to mean, that they're guardians?"

"Correct!" Sidolfus replied, then looking at the young boy he continued on to say,"These cubes shall contain the data of our work, as well as keep the memories of that man hidden away!"

Puzzled Kagi asked, "Memories?"

However Sidolfus then said, "You don't need to know any more than that." Then with those words he had collected all of what he needed to.

Watching him, Kagi watched as the sinister scientist began to leave the room. But before he left, he told the young boy,"Now come along! There are further arrangements we must prepare before the invasion!"

The young boy didn't give an audible reply. Instead he left quietly following behind the man as they went to prepare for the conflict that would occur between Hari and Xehanort...

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Watching all this, Timbre hadn't said so much. But seeing the pain that the young boy had gone through, he couldn't help but ask him,"Kagi why did you stay there?" Then as he turned to look to him, the pink haired cat boy asked further, "I mean with what Rosso had done and that Sidolfus guy, why didn't you try and make your escape again?"
Hearing him ask this, the green haired boy was quiet. However looking sad, he then explained, "Because I couldn't leave her." With that, everyone looked to the screen again. There they saw Hari again, in different garbs, battle ones. She descended down onto the black stones and began to fight against the countless hordes of Nobodies, slicing them to ribbons and making them scatter using scarlet blasts of power.

Seeing her fight like this. Everyone was quiet as Kagi proceeded on to explain, "I know I could probably have left through the door and get back to Merlin, leaving all that misery behind but..." looking to the screen himself, he saw again the devastating power Hari contained. As he did, he continued on to say, "I could sense that, Hari, she...she needed me."

Puzzled by this, Hayner asked him, "Needed you?" Then seeing the power that she contained himself, he couldn't help but say, "How could she need you at that point with all that power? I mean she was-?"

"She was still a human ya know?" It was then speaking up, no-one expected Ori of all people to come to Hari's defence. For looking at Kagi's past self, Ori understood his feelings and continued on to say, "And as a human she needs that someone that's their partner!" With that he glanced towards Saria who looked at him with surprise herself and as he did, he looked back to the screen and concluded, "Otherwise you'll never be able to get through the pains of misery."

Quiet as he heard this, Kagi though after a moment revealed a small smile and replied, "Yeah, that's right." Then as he turned back to the screen himself, he continued to say, "And I would discover that Hari did indeed need me still..."

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Standing with Sidolfus and Rosso in one of the laboratory rooms, they were awaiting the results of that day's battle from the troops... and from their treasured weapon herself.

Having seen Hari vanish into the battlefields many hours before, Kagi felt horribly anxious as he paced back and forth in the room. For if she came against Xemnas face to face, there was no way of knowing that she would even-!

BANG! BANG! BANG!

Spooked the young boy quickly turned! There he saw quickly entering the room was one of the terrible scientist's that had bullied him. However he saw that he was badly wounded and there lying in his arms, it was none other than-!

"Hari!?"

Quickly running over to her, the young boy saw she was terribly damaged. She shivered as she breathed in out badly and as she did, Kagi felt his eyes tear up. He reached his hand to touch her, saying, "Hari! You're-!"

SNAP!

"Ah!" Immediately his hand was grabbed preventing him from touching her. He saw with shock that it was none other than Sidolfus that had stopped him. He hated that man at that moment but before he could voice himself-!

"What has happened out there!?" Rosso demanded, almost snarling out the words.

Breathing hard with great difficulty himself, looking terribly beaten up. The bully then said, "Their, their monsters... they're too much... they're too much for us!" Rosso was clearly not pleased and all the pathetic associate of hers could say was, "They wiped out... nearly all our numbers! Then those guys! Those guys in black, they-!"

"What of Xemnas, what has become of him?" Rosso asked wanting this hapless moron to get to the most prominent point.

In agony, the bully though continued and said, "Yer kid, she... she faced him! She got me out! But then... the leader of 'em! He nearly took her out...just with one blow and-!"

He'd reached his physical limit and collapsed, dropping Hari from his arms! Seeing her roll onto the floor like this, Kagi tried again to attend to her! But he was held firmly in place by the crushing grip of Sidlofus's hand on his shoulder. He couldn't understand why was he doing this to him!?

The man couldn't bear the agony any more and pleaded with Rosso, "Please... I got your kid out! I...I don't wanna go out... not the same way as my buddies! By those monsters! Lady Rosso I-!"

ZZZZAAAAPPPP!

"AAAGGGHHH!"

In horror, Kagi watched as the man who had tormented him, along with his spectacle wearing pal was quickly eradicated by a horrible burst of power that thundered out from Rosso herself!

Seeing his ashes vanish into nothing, though the young boy disliked him and his friend. He had never wished for such a horrible thing to befall either of them! But before he could move to do anything else-!

Rosso approached Hari's hurt body and as she did, her eyes were cold as she said, "So... even now, you still prove to be completely inadequate!"

Hari uttered nothing in response, only the sounds of her stained breathing filled the air. As they did, it was clear that the mother cared nothing for this. Lifting her right hand, it glowed brightly with red energy.

Seeing her do this, Kagi asked, "What're you-!?"

ZZZAAAAPPPP!

Rosso unleashed her power upon her failure of a child, immediately the young girl's eyes opened widely and her mouth was aghast in silent horror. She looked like she was trying to catch her breath, but she couldn't and-!

"AAAGGGHHH!"

Kagi couldn't bear this and cried out loudly, "STOP IT!" He was practically thrashing, trying to make Sidolfus let go of him. But the older man refused, only keeping the younger boy firmly in place.

Rosso was continuing her torture of her child, not caring in the slightest for the loud tearful objections Kagi was voicing. He couldn't believe either of these people and demanded almost screaming, "How can you do this to her!? You call yourselves parents you're-!?"

"Scientists!" Sidolfus interrupted and told the young boy, "And to make progress, to defeat all of one's enemies... you need to be inhumane, to crush the heart if you wish to obtain the true raw power that lies within to wipe out everything inferior!"

Tears rolling forth down his eyes, Kagi wanted to object to say that wasn't true at all! That it was-!

"RRROOOAAARRRGGGHHH!"

Quickly though a terrible monstrous roar filled the air, this terrified the young boy but fortunate it forced Rosso to stop her acts of torture against Hari.

Angered, she uttered angrily, "Tch! So those detestable vermin have made into my stronghold!"

"Huh?" Kagi had no idea what she could mean, but in the next second-!

"Whoa!"

He was quickly being dragged away by his right arm! As he was, he saw Sidolfus was leading him forward and there quickly catching up to them, was Rosso herself. With her child being carried in her arms, she then said as they ran, "It looks like the final upgrade will be necessary after all!"

The young boy didn't know what she meant by that and didn't have time to question her, for behind them. The hordes of Nobodies were on their tail! The total take over of the castle was now only a matter of hours!

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Suddenly shoved into a dark room with many eerie glowing scientific instruments, was Hari who was unconscious upon a raised table, while Kagi dumbfounded saw Sidolfus and Rosso run to the tall double doors. Seeing them go, he heard Rosso say, "We must seize the right tools immediately!" Then looking to her partner, she asked him, "I trust you'll give me your assistance?"
"Always, my beloved!" Sidolfus said.

Rosso nodded pleased. But feeling a pain in her chest, she realised one thing, "We must hurry!"

"Yes," With that he saw his leader leave but before exiting the space himself leaving the children behind, he said, "You won't have long..." with that the doors creaked as they were shut firmly behind him.

Quiet seeing that they were left alone now. Kagi had no idea of what to do or say, but looking to Hari as she continued to slumber now peacefully after some desperately needed healing, he stared at her quietly...

Then after a little bit, he walked over to stand by her side. As he did, he stared down at her relaxed form... he felt terrible. Moving his own right hand, he carefully and gently took her right hand into his own ones.

Feeling her warmth that he hadn't been able to, made him tear up... as he did, his mind wrestled with that to say. For during all this time, he hadn't been able to do a thing to help her... so he finally decided to say, "Hari...you know, I can never say it to you enough now but-" then gulping trying to contain himself as best as he could, he told her, "I'm sorry!" Then he couldn't contain himself anymore remembering the torture she'd been exposed to, he cried saying, "I've let you down all this time and... I'm the reason you're like this now, I ruined you! I made you weak and-!"

"RRROOOAAARRRGGGHHH!"

He was spooked as quickly he heard the sounds of the oncoming monsters, but along side that-!

BLAST! SLASH! BLAST! SLASH!

The sounds of battle were commencing and it was clear that Rosso and Sidolfus were in the thick of it. Trying to grab onto who knows what was out there against the merciless hordes that were coming quickly for them.

Kagi shivered, as a young boy this was so much to deal with... but still he was glad at least to tell Hari what he really felt before the end or whatever would come for them. So looking down at her peaceful expression, he told her trying to muster a smile, "Hari, I don't know if you hate me for everything that's happened..." then squeezing her hand just a little, he continued, "And I won't blame you if you do..."

"RRROOOAAARRRGGGHHH!"

Knowing though that this was all terribly negative to say as his last words to her, Kagi then decided to add, "But I want you to know, despite the terror and all the bad things that have happened...I'm glad I got to know you, that you and I became friends...I just wish I could have done more to help you." With that the young boy leaned down, then quietly and softly, he laid a gentle kiss upon Hari's right cheek.

This act of gentle affection done, Kagi lifted his face up to look down at her again. Doing this, he then saw-!

"Kagi..."

Hari was looking up to him with her tired looking green eyes.

Seeing this, the young boy felt like this was impossible! This couldn't be happening! But it was! Hari was! Quickly he asked her with widened eyes, "Hari!? You! You remember me!?"

The girl hearing this question, quietly sat herself up and looking towards him she said simply, "Of course I do..." With that she looked down to her hands, flexing her fingers slowly in and out.

Seeing her do this, Kagi puzzled forgot his astonishment and asked her, "Hari..?"
"It's strange..." with that the young girl continuing to grip her hands admitted, "I can no longer feel the sensation of my own hands..."

"Can't feel?" Kagi asked. Then learning this, he realised a possibility about something. Thinking of how she had battled before so ferociously and all the damage she withstood... it meant she might not! He felt a horrible feeling inside and reaching his hand slowly over to her face to confirm his worry, he placed his fingers gently onto her face. However as he did this simple act, the young girl didn't react, she didn't turn to look away from her hands, she didn't jump... nothing.

Horrified at this as he kept his fingers there stroking her gently, he asked, "Hari... she's stolen it from you hasn't she?"
"Hm?" Turning her eyes in his direction as he said this, Hari asked, "Stolen?"

Still Hari didn't seem to have noticed his hand. Hating this, he told her, "Your ability to feel things... you can't do that any more now, can you?"

As this was put to her, Hari then turned. It was then she finally noticed Kagi's hand on her skin...seeing this herself, she didn't emote anything. All that she did, was look blankly to his hand and reply simply, "It appears so..."

Feeling frustrated and upset about this, Kagi asked, "Why? Why do that to you!?" With that taking his hand from her, he continued on to say, "What good does that do for you! Not being able to feel anything!?"

As this question was asked, Hari placing her hand upon her chest. She was silent as she made some considerations to answer his question, then after a little bit. She came to a conclusion, "I can only guess that being unable to feel certain sensations, emotional and physical makes me more capable in battle... unhindered by any form of weakness."
Kagi didn't like this and just looked more upset as he bit into his lower lip.

Hari though unaffected by physical sensations and now her emotional ones went on to say coldly with logic, "But it's clear that even this is not enough for me to defeat Xehanort and his forces." With that, she looked to the closed doors and concluded, "I can hazard guess that my Mother is going to fetch the wings."

Hearing this, Kagi then asked her, "Wings? What wings?"

"The final upgrade that's been made for me," with that she turned to look back at him and explained,"They are devices my Mother has constructed with magical enhancements added them," then looking down, she continued on to say, "I suspect that she will implant them in me, here in this space...before she put us both into stasis."

"Stasis?" Kagi didn't understand what she meant by that and asked, "What does that word mean?"

Hari was silent before she explained, "It means we will placed into a suspended state by magical and scientific means." However looking at Kagi and reading expression, she could tell he still did not quite understand. So she said even more simply, "You and I will be made to sleep, for a long, long time by magic and science."

"Sleep?" Then as he thought of what this meant, it terrified the young boy as he asked, "Why? For how long, what's that supposed to achieve!?"

Hari then explained calmly, "...It will allow me to attune to the wings, make them a part of my being and to enhance my abilities that will be powered by the fourth Fragment...the duration of how long we will slumber for this effect to be final is unknown to me."

Hearing this, Kagi found this terrifying! They were going to be made to sleep, for maybe forever!? This was insane! But he didn't understand one thing, "Why does she want me to go through that too though, why-!"

"It is because you are the holder of the eighth Fragment, also so that you and I will be concealed, away from Xehanort... and from others who may come to hunt after us." Hari explained, then as she looked at Kagi with her cold eyes, she then also added, "...Also, you will keep me alive with your energy."

"What?" Kagi uttered.

"When you and I are put through into stasis, we will be put into a state where we will be continually exchanging energy between our Fragments, so that we are kept alive and nourished during our sleep... so you will gain something of mine, as I will gain something of yours," Hari explained to him.

"I'll be keeping you alive?" Kagi asked her. The cold eyed girl then made a single nod to him. This wasn't exactly a comfort to the young boy, but he had to admit, "Well at least I'll be useful to you in some way now, huh?"

Hari made no response to him as he said this with a sad smile. Then she simply stare quietly as he moved his arms towards her. She didn't do a thing as he wrapped them around her.

Kagi held her gently as he could, doing this quietly he asked her feeling fearful for their future, "Hari... will I see you again, when I wake up?"

"I can't be certain about that," She responded honestly. But seeing the way Kagi was trembling, clearly distraught by anxiety and sadness, she thought for a moment and then said, "But... if I am able to, I will try to ascertain your exact whereabouts."
"You will?" He asked her surprised.

"Yes..." then lifting her right hand, she placed it simply on where she thought Kagi's back was. Doing this, she then continued on to say, "I will do my utmost so that I may be able to protect you better...since I have done nothing but fail, letting you weep upon me like this."

Tensing his hands around her, Kagi then shook his hands and told her, "No it's not! It's not your fault! It's-" his voice then caught in his throat, he was about to say it was his fault. But then he realised better, he told her, "It's all Rosso's and Sidlofus's! If they weren't so evil then you wouldn't be left like...!"

Hari said nothing to this, she couldn't argue with his words but she couldn't think of anything to say in reply.

Hearing only silence from Hari, the young boy then feeling her be so stiff asked, "...You can't feel my warmth anymore either now can you?"

"No..." Hari responded, however she admitted, "But that doesn't mean I don't wish I could."
This made Kagi's sorrow even worse, as he tried to hold onto her a little more tightly. Not wanting to let her go, Hari's cold eyes could only stare on ahead, for she didn't know any more what it was she should do in response to this action anymore...

BANG!

Suddenly from behind them, Kagi heard the doors open behind them. As he did, he then heard, "Those repulsive rogues of nothing!" It was Rosso and then-!

BLAST! BLAST! BLAST!

BANG!

"Indeed!" It was Sidolfus who'd returned too and as he shut the door behind them both, their footsteps began to approach both Kagi and Hari.

"Kagi! Take your hands off of my sword!" Came Rosso's aggressive tone!

However all this did was make the young boy hold onto his precious friend more tightly, he didn't want to let her go!

The heartless scientists though seeing this, were unmoved. Getting closer towards them, Sidolfus then simply said,"I suppose there's nothing to do when it comes to a young bleeding heart like this." With that he moved his hands and grabbed onto Kagi's shoulders.

Feeling revulsion at his horrible touch, Kagi tried desperately to hold onto Hari tighter crying out, "No! I don't want to leave her!"

"You have no choice!" With that Sidolfus pulled harder, his young strength would be nothing compared to his.

"No! No!" Immediately Kagi could feel himself being pulled away from Hari, upset he said, "Hari! Help me I-!"

Quickly though his mouth was covered and his voice muffled, as Sidolfus had something in his free hands that was aimed and ready to still the frantic struggling boy.

Hari seeing this, moved a hand to try and assist but-!

"Lachesis be still!"

In seconds the lock activated within her chest and immediately her hand fell and she looked down like a limp doll.

Kagi seeing this, hated it! He had to get back to her! He had to-!

SSSHHH!

Quickly though something was sprayed into his face! As it was, Kagi's eyes widened and before he could do anything in reaction, his body became weak and his consciousness began to fog over.

Sighing seeing his work was complete, Sidolfus lifted himself back up and away from the boy. Discarding the spray he once held in his hand, he then said, "My goodness! What a hassle these children are!"

"Indeed!" Rosso replied, with that she approached her lifeless daughter and combed her hair back behind her ear. Doing this, she then said, "I truly despise unruly childish mischief."

Kagi breathing weakly, hearing them speak could feel the sleep Hari talk about before begin to overtake him. He truly hated this, looking to Hari who was so close to him, he tried to reach out to her calling out, "Ha...ri!" There was no response from her, then he tried her title as a last resort, "La...che...sis!" Still though nothing.

Sidolfus seeing him try so hard like this, then picked up his helpless form from off the floor and commented, "There's no use in trying any more, your active role is now finished for this time." With that taking the boy he told him, "Now, let's hide you away somewhere in the realms of the doors of time until you are needed again..."

Hearing him say these words, as he carried him. Kagi looked back in the direction Hari was, he saw Rosso was doing something to her. Something terrible was reaching out from her hands towards Hari's body. It was monstrous and glowed all over with dark energy, it was something metallic and sharp that reached out to ensnare her! Then the last words he ever heard from the horrible female scientist as her daughter was further corrupted by her madness were, "Now... no-one will ever stand above me! Not anyone!" Then with that the world fell into total darkness...

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

With that the disc that had been slipped into the computer a few hours ago, finally slipped out. As it did, everyone was silent. Absorbing all the tragedy and sadness that had occurred at that time, all of them didn't want to be in that space anymore and quietly one by one they filed out of the room.

As they all did, Pete who had remained invisible throughout all that time, followed out after them. His eyes were a little red, he looked ahead to see Kagi moving with everyone else. He was next to Nozomi who was trying to contain her own grief as Riku held an arm over her shoulders, while Mickey looked down sadly with Cait sith riding his shoulder looking much the same.

After seeing everything that Kagi and Hari been through, he wanted to know. Was there a way to release Hari from that horrible lock? Could he make her feel again somehow? To restore her back? What could he to do help?

However since he was sided with Maleficent there was no way he could just come out and ask that question... without being beaten to a pulp. All he could do then was just to continue his reconnaissance and hope he would learn something in that time.

Then after making it back into the light of the setting sun outside of the castle, everyone looked up and tried to get some sense of relief back. To regain some sense of positivity and to decide what they would do next. But this clearly wasn't going to be so easy for them to attain or sort out, for the sorrow of the past left something lingering that refused to leave them all...and it clearly wouldn't, for a long, long time.
