Chapter 1: Rising Tensions

The dreams are getting more destructive.

Magnus contemplated as he gazed upon the fire, a look of grim concern upon his face as he looked upon his dreams. Within Tizca in his sanctuary he had been receiving troubling omens. He stood before a massive flame brazier that echoed a bright blue fire. Around him were dozens of adepts and their senior psykers scrambling through the room, commands being given as Magnus continued to stare at the fire.

Behind him stood three figures, these bearing a skull mask upon their faces as they looked upon their primarch, on the side of their belts carried a fashioned mace, this being of a martyred skeleton holding a blade upon blackened wings, while next to the primarch stood two of his most trusted sons, these being Ahzek Ahriman and Hathor Maat.

"Father... This is of most concern. Our methods of divination are not providing us a clear detail of these dreams you are encountering. Our standard methods are not working"

All figures within the inner area were gazing upon the fire, yet the images within shifted like sand before any clear image could be discerned.

"This is unprecedented" Magnus said, looking upon the fire with his single eye, a frown upon his face as he tried to capture any detail of what is happening.

"We have combed through the grand libraries, yet nothing like this has ever happened in the halls of wisdom... We are running out of options to explore"

"Is there any more sanctified methods we can rely upon?" Magnus asked

"None father... all our avenues are spent"

"Damnit... It must be interference by some third party... Yet I cannot pinpoint what kind of interference it is"

"My father" One of the three said, his skull fashioned of a golden trim "Caution must be taken in regards to this path... You know what is at stake here if we stray from the path of wisdom"

"I understand Martaias... I still remember fathers words upon Nikea... Yet this situation is giving us little actions to rely upon"

"Then I suggest that the dangers of knowledge be consulted... as is required of us my father"

"What will you all suggest of me my chaplains, Martaias, Rubricon, Gabriel? What path must we heed if we are to find a solution?"

"The teachings of truth state that one must find a focal point of interest within their struggle. That the problem be digested to it's base truths to understand the nature of a problem. With it's nature resolved will a solution be given to one of sound mind"

"A focal point eh?" Magnus pondered upon the statement of the book of truth, a book penned by his father and shared among the legions to be stored upon their halls of wisdom.

The judgement of Nikea had imposed some restrictions upon his sons, yet the practice of their craft had mostly been left to the discretion of those whom teach. Chief among them was the appointment of Chaplains within his legion, those whom must forsake any pursuit of knowledge and instead must be ones to scrutinize and judge any knowledge that would come from a legion's knowledge repository or be sent into it. It was by their discretion and the penned books given by his father that a basis of control would be given to the legion regarding potentially dangerous forms of sorcery.

Yet Magnus was grateful of this, due to the fact he feared a more severe punishment would have been given, had Naruto not intervened and allowed such events to happen.

Naruto

At the mention of his brothers name, the flame sparked to life as the blue fire changed to a glowing orange, the image slowed to a crawl as a symbol of a nine tailed fox appeared before the group, four worlds orbiting the symbol as it shined with a golden light.

Suddenly the symbol started to change a violent red, as symbol started to become tainted in blood and fire, eight points upon the center of the symbol glowed with an unholy light as the flames extinguished itself, only to return to blue in but a moment.

"A reaction?" Ahzek said, a look of surprise upon his face "How did that happen?"

Magnus gave a thought of what just happened. His mind calculating scenario's in his head about what method he subconsciously used to temporarily lift the veil.

It was a moment in silence when he cleared his mind that clarity struck him, with a wave of his hand the image had returned, stronger than ever as the room stared in awe at what had just happened.

"Was it really that simple?" Magnus questioned himself as he looked upon the image flowing through time. He tried to grip that conscious thought again yet the flames returned to blue just as fast.

"Damn... So it's not that easy"

"Father" Martaias replied. "What knowledge have you found to be judged?"

"Scribe!" Magnus called out, a lone adept with many parchment papers walked before the crimson king, his hand shaky upon being in the presence of the Emperor's son.

"Yes my lord"

"Write this down..."

And so Magnus stated all of what he had done, the method he had used and how to replicate it, each detail was not spared from the scribe as they worked through the hours archiving what had to be recorded.

At the end, a massive scroll was given to one of the chaplains, whom carried said knowledge to the room of wisdom, where it was judged with the knowledge that is truth, checking to see if a deception had been cast or a legitimate method had been discovered, this in turn would be relayed to chaplains whom served the legion. Confirming that wisdom has been discovered from knowledge. With said knowledge to either be condemned or venerated.

Magnus wished that such time consuming methods would not take such time, yet he could not refute his fathers wisdom in such things.

In a way, he was thankful that his father had placed such trust in his hands.

"A moment for your thoughts?"

Sasuke looked away from the view of the planet while he turned towards the individual, they were of a majestic look, golden hair flowing beyond their shoulders as they were in gilded armour, while their wings of majestic white reflected the rays of the system's sun, providing an almost otherworldly effect.

"It is nothing Sanguinius. I was merely reminiscing about something"

A small chuckle had escaped Sanguinius's mouth, causing Sasuke to look at the primarch with an unamused look. It had been three months since Sasuke had been assigned to this mission with Sanguinius and over that time the primarch had seen his brothers friend become more reclusive then usual.

He had seen the young astartes look troubled for extended periods of time or even went to the astropaths hall to relay messages that were of a sensitive nature. In some moments he had even seen him kneeling before the shrine of remembrance, praying for something contrary to the norm he has known the young man to be.

"Considering the fact you have been in this state for the past three months. I feel it is more than just 'something'"

Sasuke took a moment to pause his body, a sigh had escaped his mouth as he slumped upon one of the seating's within the room. Sanguinius took a seat near the young warrior and placed a gentle hand upon his shoulder.

"It's just... I never told her I loved her... before I left" Sasuke said, a look of gloom upon his face.

"Sasuke... Sakura is in good hands. Your world is a wonder of this galaxy, it's one of the safest places in the Imperium to date. She will be fine"

"How do we know that?" Sasuke retorted, his voice carrying a fire within "How do we know everything is going to be fine? We don't even know what the hell is happening with her and the others... our communication lines have been non existent with Elementia for months. Everyday I'm just wondering if she is still alive and well... or.."

"Don't say that Sasuke... Never say that my friend. It is not healthy to think in that manner"

"But what am I supposed to think Sanguinius... That I just stay ignorant of what is potentially happening? Or should I have given a damn when I only see her name on a tombstone!"

Sasuke slammed his hand into the panelling of the ship, a serious groan of metal reverberating across the room as the man held his hands in front of his eyes.

"I shouldn't be alive Sanguinius. I have done nothing but betrayed everyone and everything in all my life... I have massacred thousands of innocence people driving forward for a self destructive crusade. I have let my hatred consume me, even leading to the deaths of friends and comrades... I should have just died back during the valley... Yet somehow, through all of that Naruto never gave up on me... he never saw me as irredeemable... and now my life has started to heal... I have friends and trusted comrades among the legions... I have a wife who was with me through all of my sins... I just... I.."

"Sasuke" Sanguinius gave the young man a brotherly hug, one that surprised him as small tears appeared in his eyes.

"You have gone through so much pain and suffering... Yet through it all my brother has never given up on you, he sees what I see in you. You are a man whom wishes to bear the burdens of those whom you love. Even at the expense of your life because you have been hurt before and never wish to experience that pain again."

"You are a great warrior and friend Sasuke. But you must learn to trust in those whom love you, trust that they can look after themselves. You must have faith in them"

"You know... apart from the massive wings and all. You sound like Naruto a bit"

"Is it really that obvious?"

"Yea... but your not so much an idiot as he is"

"From you that is a point of pride I must admit"

"Attention... we are coming into Signus Prime airspace... Lord Sanguinius, captain Sasuke you are required in the war room for operation briefing"

"Well..." Sanguinius said, standing up as Sasuke followed suit "That is our queue"

"Thanks Sanguinius... I appreciate this"

"You are most welcome Sasuke... Now lets us depart these sad moments and ready ourselves for the coming conflict"

"Yea... lets go"

Sasuke followed Sanguinius, yet for some reason couldn't shake this unconscious feeling of dread coming from his stomach

"Thank you lady Sakura"

Sakura smiled as she assisted with another of her sisters, this one had been getting very serious back pain problems as she was coming along with her pregnancy, Sakura had just applied a healing solution along with her medical chakra, a soothing green glow coming from her hands.

"You are most welcome"

"Lady Sakura. Are you sure you should be moving around so much? With your condition?"

Sakura looked at where her sister was staring, indeed her belly had grown as well during these months as she too had been confirmed to be carrying a child. She smiled fondly as she knew who their father was, she had also been exited to confirm that she was carrying a little girl in her belly, her name all but confirmed in her mind.

"You do not need to worry. My little Sarada is a strong little girl, she won't mind her mother helping others"

A crash within the next room happened, with someone beginning to apologize profusely as Sakura gave a small sigh, she asked her sister if she required any more assistance and excused herself.

"Are you okay Clare? Is everything alright?" Sakura asked as she opened the door to the room.

Clare Negau was a special case of Faunus whom was accepted into the legion rather recently. In her early life she had an extremely rare once in a generation faunus trait, this made her stand out even during her life as unlike other faunus this one couldn't be hidden by simple applications of chakra.

Sakura looked upon the figure of Clare as she was bowing before one of her sisters, the astartes tanned skin with blonde hair along with fiery red streaks made her a rather exotic looking faunus, her golden orange eyes were in a deep apologetic state as she tried to apologize for her clumsiness.

And behind her, sprouted two majestic wings, these being of a pure white with brown trims on each feather tip, giving the look of an angel from the view of those in front of her.

"I'm soo sorry... These wings are too clumsy within these small spaces"

"It is fine lady Clare." The Sister within the room said, a look of appreciation upon her face, even as Clare's wings unwittingly collided with other objects within the room.

"Hey Clare. Why don't you just wait outside while I sort this out okay?" Sakura said, as she gave a gentle hand to her trainee/apprentice.

"Thank you Sakura sensei" Clare said as she awkwardly exited the room, careful not to make any more damage with her wings.

"lady Clare is such a helpful person... it is a shame her wings seem to have a mind of their own" the sister said to Sakura as she helped her with little bits in the room.

"Yea... but she has a good heart on her. I am training her through more advanced medical applications, which has been a rather interesting experience considering her wings and all being a hindrance in these rooms"

The Sister smiled at Sakura with a look of understanding. For most of the females within these hospital walls the prospect of children was a rather exciting and nervous affair, most of them tended to gossip about who their fathers are and wondering where their future husbands might be around the Imperium. While a few had even had a betting pool on which of them will give birth first.

Sakura wasn't supposed to participate or encourage these bets, yet she had not so subtly betted upon herself in a few of these pools, to her shame.

Among the wider worlds, news had spread that long range communications past Elementian space had been progressively harder to establish, with many astropaths unable to connect with their star void companions, as a precaution Elementia had issued a wide restriction upon long range communications. This had lead to unrest among the populations as many within her borders awaited any information about those whom served in the wider conflicts around the Imperium.

The Elementian council, through a unanimous decision have enacted a system wide training simulation among it's various assets, this included things such as communication blackouts, secondary and last resort actions involving every citizen and world along with a whole host of other training means.

Chief among them was the training of the new reserve companies within the legion, this was given by Shikamaru Nara, master tactician and grand commander of operations within Elementian space, Shikamaru has served within the legion for close to four millennia, his tactical mind has turned the tide of countless engagements that the legion has faced, many Imperium and Elementian commanders have owed their lives to the timely intervention and tactics displayed by the somewhat lazy genius, now he looks upon the new face recruits whom were being put through countless drills and conditioned in the ways of the legion.

"So troublesome... how did I end up with this punishment?" Shikamaru said, a long sigh within his voice as another astartes next to him gave a chuckle

"I find it rather funny Shika... It is good to have a change of pace every once in a while"

"Easy for you to say Chouji... At least you are having some fun with this"

"On a more serious note... how do you think the new recruits are doing?"

Shikamaru looked beyond the training arena, hundreds of astartes are training while those whom were part of the battleline legions were watching them with a careful look, many were training in the various different fields that were used for the legion.

Firing drills with various weapons occurred in training galleries within the area, close combat arena's echo with the sounds of recruits exerting themselves as their martial training is honed while other astartes are going through other fields being taught the ways of chakra by more experienced shinobi or astartes counterparts.

"I hate to say it, but these recruits are as about green as you can get. None of them have ever seen a war-zone let alone experienced the ways of warfare..."

"That bad huh?" Chouji asked as he looked upon the fields.

"If I had to make an estimate... If a standard invasion force of two million or more basic units or an elite force a quarter their size tried to invade... I would say our casualty rate would be hovering around the sixty percent mark"

"That's a pretty high casualty rate" Chouji said, a grin look upon his face

"And there lies the problem... Experience. With more veteran members I would be able to execute missions that would be considered impossible by other forces, yet to the enemy those tactics would lead to their entire chain of command and more elite forces being crippled to assist in any capacity... Yet without those expertise, there is really not much I can do"

"Training experience and true wartime experience are both vastly different in terms of flexibility and force power. You can train all your life to fight but when you see an enemy in front of you out for your blood, their eyes looking at you with unbridled hatred and fury. Very few newcomers can remain calm in those moments"

"It is in war that we temper our fear, our basic instincts. We as shinobi have been taught how to shut off our emotions as we perform our task, yet this new generation has only been brought up in stability and peace. I welcome it over the grim reality that was war but also am cautious about it's alluring pull. For a blade dulls when it is not used, and we have certainly have not been used to the extent of before... or perhaps will"

"Well then we have some work to do ehh Shika?" Chouji said as he gave his friend a hearty nudge upon his shoulder, while Chouji had walked into the training grounds to help the new initiates, Shikamaru was putting his mind into possible scenario's that could happen within the coming months and even years.

Hours later, he would retire to his quarters and write these strategies and such in a massive book, known only to him as a prediction guide. He would then give this information to the upper command of Elementia where such knowledge would be put to use in the coming war games, yet he would not realise the true scope of his actions until much later.

For now, Elementia had resigned itself to prepare for a war it did not wish to partake in.

Naruto looked upon his hands as he meditated within the webway.

Training with his father had felt like everything he could wish for and more, as he got to know his father more by how he taught him his craft, looking upon his hands which were engraved with ancient runes of a bygone age he could feel himself becoming more, his self worth soared as his hesitance was fading from his mind yet never leaving entirely.

His father had taught him in the ways of focusing ones mind and mental state, to become master of ones emotions and fears, instead using such vices as pillars of strength to fight against a horror which reflects your darkest thoughts back to yourself.

"I am rather surprised Naruto. Most who train in such arts rarely achieve a skill-set such as this. Yet somehow you are picking this up rather quickly"

"Maybe it has to do with my teacher?" Naruto asked in a question.

Sounds beyond them pulled their attention away as they watched a sea of Naruto's practice the many styles and disciplines that the Emperor had imparted upon Naruto. At this sight both of them gave a slight chuckle.

"Somehow I am offended at what you just said" The Emperor said as he sat next to his son, looking upon the ruins of an ancient fortress within their section of the Webway.

"okay... I might have had a little help" Naruto said as he gave a cheeky grin.

"You little brat... No respect whatsoever" The Emperor joked as they both joined each other in chuckling.

"Dad" Naruto said, as both father and son basked in a moment of silence

"Yes Naruto?"

"Do you think we can do it? Connect humankind through this webway?"

The Emperor gave a long pause, many different paths showed before his eyes yet he was unable to look too far into the distant future. He gave a long sigh

"To be honest my son... I do not know"

"Well... I won't give up on this... and neither should you"

Considering that I am forever embarrassed that your seal was manipulated by a daemon, I for one do not wish to be forced to a slumber against my will ever again

I understand Kurama... Forcing the seal to remain open by these runes should in theory ensure you cannot be restraint again. I don't want anyone to force you to do anything you don't want to

Hmmph... We shall see if it works soon enough. I am tired so I will go to sleep. Wake me up when it gets exciting or there is a fight ready to go

Will do my friend... take care

"Naruto?" The Emperor asked, a look of confusion upon his face

"Sorry dad... was just talking to Kurama"

"I understand... I feel we have rested enough... we have more training to do. Continuing with your Psyker resistance training"

"Hai"

The sea of clones before him amazed those within the corridors of the massive webway realm, yet the Naruto clone just gave a small chuckle as he could also see other clones trying to interact and connect with the servitors around the various sites, with some rather interesting results.

He felt the need to refresh himself by meditating, most clones never see existence this much in their life spans so to be able to let himself free from burdens was a good change of pace. He stilled his body and mind, using his chakra to feel out for his environment and in return infusing it within himself, achieving a balance between himself and all of Nature surrounding him.

The clone wasn't actually expecting sage mode to work in this environment. The landscape was devoid of normal life and the only things he could see for miles was the strange substance known as wraithbone making up the skeleton and skin of this place.

Yet the wave of emotions that crashed into him made the clone open his eyes in alarm, he felt his energy filling with something, it was a feeling of empowerment that he had never experienced before. Trying again he had felt the massive wave of something crash into him again yet he could feel the emotions leak themselves from his being, making him have a smile upon his face as tears pooled from the clones eyes.

He tried again, each time slowly understanding what was happening as he learned to feel the pulse of energy before it overwhelmed him with emotions. This continued for hours as it could feel it's energy return stronger each time he mastered another step.

Other clones that had been dispelling and replenishing their numbers had noticed the lone clone meditating and curiosity had struck them. A few clones had excused themselves from the horde and walked over to the clone whom was still sitting still. Their breathing had calmed down as the clones could sense something changing around them.

After what felt like an eternity, the clone opened his eyes, the telltale signs of sage mode showing upon the clone yet their eyes reflected a silver glow instead of their normal gold. Yet the clone was not even noticing his changes as he could hear a chorus of music and song around him.

He closed his eyes and opened his heart in wonder as songs and music echoed in his partial soul, yet each melody or chorus made his emotions sing in tune. Songs of happiness made his spirit and face react with a smile, while tales of sadness made tears flow from his eyes. All echoes invoked something within him yet he could feel like getting lost in the beauty of it all.

In his mind he started to echo these chords, his voice at first being out of tune but eventually started to improve as he poured his chakra into projecting and harmonizing with the songs echoing around him. He gave a smile and laugh as he could feel himself join in the songs, experiencing each emotion and moment as they were being imprinted into his very being.

Eventually he opened his eyes and was greeted by shocked looks from all personnel that were near the clone, chief among those were the webway personnel whom were staring and pointing in stunned silence at the clone. He stopped to look at what they were pointing at and noticed that the environment around him had changed.

Where the ground had once been a flat area, a beautiful structure had been moulded from the wraithbone, the structure was of a spiral, it's swirls and angles being something beyond normal human means, while continuing to be aesthetically human like in it's design. Above the structure was the Imperial Aquila, carved from the wraithbone as though it belonged.

"What... what was that?" One of the other clones asked, looks of both shock and curiosity upon their faces.

"I... It's kinda hard to explain" The clone replied.

"Then just dispel and teach us what you just learned" The others replied, excitement on their voices as they were now truly curious.

The clone gave a small sigh, already kinda dreading what implications this information will make their little mini relaxation become a little bit more hectic.

As the clone dissipated in a puff of smoke it's information hit the rest of the Naruto's like a thunderbolt. Suddenly what the clone couldn't describe became ingrained into their very thoughts and others decided to try out this method for themselves.

Many clones had begun to meditate, trying to replicate what the original clone had experienced seeking if what he felt in that moment was true, sure enough many of them felt the feeling of emotions become one with them as they sang in tune with the songs in their minds.

The Environment had started to change, as they projected their emotions into the plane, so too did the plane change as a reflection. Many had started to look in awe and excitement as they witness a new thing being created from their own hands.

Yet as they continued to sing along with the song, they realised they were not just projecting their chakra into the environment or just projecting themselves, they were seeing that the wraithbone was more than it seemed.

They witnessed places and feelings from time immemorial being projected through themselves. They realised that this wraithbone was more than a material, it was memories; moments in time that carried their metaphysical weight into something real.

A cascading dispel happened through the mob of clones as this information started to flood into the others, all the while ripples were happening among the clones.

Naruto was struck with this information as he gave a shudder of pain, his mind being filled with the information of hundreds of clones at once, rushing into his brain.

"Naruto?" The Emperor asked, a hesitant look upon his face seeing his son flashing pain.

"I'm... I'm alright... Damn clones are dispelling themselves in massive numbers... I used to fall unconscious with this amount of information flooding into me but now my head just feels like it's splitting"

"Are you going to be alright my son?" The Emperor asked in concern.

"I... I think I might be feeling the last of it"

A few more minutes before Naruto felt the split in his mind settle and a dull ache was in it's place. Yet his eyes opened wide as a look of wonder appeared upon his face.

"Dad... your not gonna believe what my clones just figured out" Naruto said, a look of excitement upon his face.

"Judging from how your face looks. I feel that this might be something of great importance"

"You know what? I think we should head over somewhere nearby. My clones have already done a lot with it and I reckon this will be easier for you to see it then me explaining it"

The Emperor gave a nod of agreement as Naruto asked the rest of his clones to go around and provide assistance where they can. The duo had travelled down one of the various tunnels being established in the webway as the Emperor looked with a satisfied smile as he witnessed Naruto's clones providing all manner of assistance to those working the more intricate parts of his grand plan.

Eventually the Emperor and Naruto appeared near a massive incline that opened itself to one of the various assembly area's he had designed for future use. Naruto by this point had barely contained excitement as he brought his father along.

"It's just over this ridge... I'm sure your going to like it"

"Somehow your voice of confidence makes me dread this instead"

"Ohh come on Dad... I promise you this is not something you are going to dread."

The Emperor gave a small sigh as he walked along with Naruto over the ridge, as they both walked into the clearing the Emperor gave a look of confusion as he was looking upon recently furbished buildings that he had assumed his webway personnel had just completed.

"Naruto... This is just completed buildings within this area... yet I remember quite explicitly to those working that only battlements are to be established... So why are there more artistic buildings around this area?"

The Personnel that were within the area had bowed before the master of mankind as they payed homage to their lord while Naruto was looking at his father with a smug look upon his face.

"Ohh your personnel didn't make those structures"

"What?... Then how?"

Naruto stilled his body as he focused upon the lessons from all the clones, in a moment his eyes had achieved their silver glow as he felt the songs of memories flood his mind.

"I will show you father"

His voice came out in a pitch and tone that was beautiful but almost otherworldly, yet to the Emperor he could feel in his soul Naruto's power had reached out into the wraithbone within the area and started to change itself. Before his eyes he witnessed his son shape the ground into a statue, it's shape had started to mould itself until an image of himself and Naruto standing next to each other stood proud within the clearing.

Naruto gave a small breath as he looked towards his father, whom was now looking at Naruto with surprise and shock.

"I told you father... nothing to worry"

"How? That should not be possible?!"

The Emperor walked around Naruto's creation, his eyes both analytical yet also in awe at what he was seeing, using his own powers he was barely able to expand the wraithbone out from the dimension at a extremely slow pace, yet here was his son able to do what would have been impossible even for him to refine to such a level.

"Well... you know how you said wraithbone was a psychic material created by the old ones?"

"Yes... But by that process only a psyker should be able to manipulate the substance"

"Turns out... Wraithbone is not a material at all"

Naruto pulsed his powers in a tune as the wraithbone under his feet started to shape itself, lifting himself and his father as he looked upon it with a smile.

"It's memory... Wraithbone is just memories. Everything the user felt when they created this material was simply given form by the imprint of that moment. Their emotions, their state of mind, their history. All leading up to this material"

"This substance is an archive of songs, of times long past yet spoken with reference and happiness. Each moment was another point in history. Each moment adding to the last to create a song that is beautiful to listen to"

"Don't you hear it too dad? Don't you hear that song?" Naruto asked

"I... I do not... No my son, I cannot 'hear' this song of which you speak" The Emperor admitted

"Is that why progress has been so slow for you?... you can't hear it?" Naruto asked, his tone more sombre.

"I had reasoned that this was merely a projection of my powers, that my construction of the wraithbone would merely be logic given purpose... yet your explanation is beyond what I ever could have imagine"

"Dad" Naruto said, his voice more of a whisper "Can I see what you have done so far?"

The area that Naruto and the Emperor had travelled to had shown better days, all around him he could see the wraithbone is slowly forming itself as a golden glow surrounded the material, beyond he could see powerful wards that ended in a pulsating darkness. The corridors started to become more smaller as the webway corridors were being expanded, yet Naruto could feel in his soul why this was happening.

All around him the song was gone, only the sound of near static filled the corridor as he could not find any substance of memories within this area of the corridor. Beyond this the screeching sounds of the warp echoed through all manner of cracks in the material, leading him to hear the echoes of pain and suffering just beyond the veil.

"This is the furthest point in the webway, yet I have reached a point in which I cannot progress... this is why the project has been stalling. Yet I couldn't figure out why it was happening like this"

"I can see father... It's how you are approaching this that is the problem. The wraithbone around here is static, almost non existent in memories, as though logic itself has been used as the mortar. Functionally you could say this is wraithbone but it is lacking in the most fundamental things required."

"Naruto" The Emperor asked "Can you... Can you try and see if you can do better? Please?"

"I... I'll try dad"

Naruto sat before the corridor, his mind stilled itself as he entered a state of peace. The echoes of laughter and pain and suffering started to fade from his mind, the sound of static drifted away as he found there was no sound within this area.

Only silence greeted him.

Naruto tried to recollect what he could feel in the other places of the webway realm, the vibrant music and song he could feel and the memories that came from those sounds.

Could it be that simple?... All it takes is the first note. The first memory

The Emperor watched as Naruto started to project his voice, the song he heard from his boy started as tragic before it's tone became playful, as he continued to sing the environment started to shift and mould into something else, where before the wraithbone had felt flimsy and weak strength was being infused into it's shell, the Emperor could see the dark abyss of the warp fade as light and colour started to fill it's hollow shell. He could feel the ground beneath him pulse as life started to bloom from the wraithbone, from simple grass to flowers and tree's echoing through the area.

All around him he could see the realm becoming stronger. As more colour and life started to be imprinted upon the land. Until the corridor itself looked like a reflection of area's within Elementia prime itself.

Naruto had opened his eyes after the last chords in his voice faded, a smile upon his face as tears came from his eyes. The look of pride upon his fathers face as he stared in wonder at what he had witnessed.

"Naruto... my boy. This is beautiful. How did you make this?"

"This was the memory of home... of my early life. Of my journey through my struggles and successes from when I was a young boy... This is my life story in memory"

"Incredible..."

"Naruto... can you use your memories to build these corridors out towards the main webway? Is it possible for you to complete the work I had started?"

"I would have to pull from memories of those that had passed and stuff... But I think it might be possible"

"My boy... I would be honoured if you would continue this work. I trust you my son"

"well then... I guess I'll need some more helpers to help" Naruto said as he crossed his hands and summoned an army of more clones.

The Emperor watched as he saw the webway that he imagined was given new life as hundreds of clones sang a song through it's corridors. The darkness was being pushed back as the wraithbone gained strength. His wards were opening to accommodate the expansion as he ordered his custodians and sisters on duty to defend Naruto with their lives, his work was to be the upmost priority.

All the while the webway echoed with the beautiful sounds of humanities memories, and a primarch whom sang of their splendour

Magnus had found a solution

After many iterations of trial and error he had finally found a solution to his problem. The veil of the future had been denied to him for many a period of time yet taking tactical risk to acquire knowledge and tempering it with wisdom has bared fruit.

Looking upon the parchments of information before his eyes he was finally able to understand why his scrying was being hampered. By focusing on individuals and utilizing his memories of such a person he was able to precisely pierce the veil with a concentrated collective of power, effectively allowing him to see a 'glimpse' into an individuals fate.

Such a process was psyker intense however and required a precision that was more than his previous mindset, yet through discipline and refinement he was able to set a method for one to gain such precision to pierce the warp.

"Well done father" Martaias said "I had upmost faith you would overcome such an obstacle, a bounty of wisdom is now ours to explore"

Magnus gave an appreciative nod to his chaplain son. Indeed without the advice of his sons from his fathers teachings he would not have achieved this goal. He had to admit his father was indeed correct that had he just tried to adventure forth without understanding the results would have been more catastrophic.

"Then let us use this newfound wisdom... bring forth the item"

Two brothers brought before the council a single box, multiple wards lined it's surface as both placed it before the scrying altar. Opening the box brought forth a pulse of energy that set many on edge, it's vicious glow of pulsating black made even Magnus flinch at such an item, while the symbol of an eight pointed star pulsed a glowing red upon the front of the helmet.

"Alright my sons... together as one. Focus and concentrate"

The room echoed in sounds as chanting echoed through the room, a golden pool of energy circled around the item as sparks of red and gold echoed through the room, the psykers that were pouring their energy into their brothers groaned as the golden energy became sharper and more defined, until a needle of gold pierced the object as cries of pain echoed out from it's unholy surface.

This continued for ten minutes until the object itself was silent in it's screams as a golden flame projected itself across the scrying board.

Magnus smile as success was his, now he could be closer to what was plaguing his vision as of late.

The image began with the golden aquila, it's form showing grace before the group as they saluted the image before them.

Yet blood started to seep from the symbol, until it began to crack and break upon many parts of it's image, the blood started to pour in rivers around the room as many were in alarm at what was happening.

The echo of screams pulsed out from the image as the eagle was now burning, it's edged becoming charred and black as it continued to scream and cry out.

Another symbol started to eclipse it, as this one pulse a sickening black, multiple signs appeared under the symbol, yet their shapes could not be identified yet the main image was what gave Magnus concern.

For it was a single eye, with arrows appearing before it as it drowned the eagle in a tide of fire.

The Ritual ceased as the object was disintegrated to dust, yet Magnus had eyes of horror at what he had just seen.

"What... how is this possible?... that was the eye of Horus... Horus is... a traitor to the Imperium?"

"Father" Ahriman said, his look stoic at the information he had just witnessed "We need to warn the Emperor... he must know of what the Warmaster is planning"

"I... yes that must be our priority...Martaias... assemble the reclusiam, we must set a course of action for what we must do"

"Father" an upcoming librarian from the legion said "Such sensitive information cannot be sent via normal communications... the odds of those in the rebellion that would discover our information could be far greater than what we fear... How can we even trust that the astropathic methods are not already compromised"

"That is why we must assemble the reclusiam... we might need to use more unorthodox methods to warn Terra of the coming threat... though I have a dread in my body at what we would need to do to achieve it."

"Understood father" Martaias said, giving a bow to his primarch "The council will be assembled post haste"

Magnus still couldn't shake this feeling. Despite all that he is doing and every precaution he is making to ensure the information reaches where it must he just cannot shake off this fear in his heart.

As though he was walking into a pit of snakes... all waiting for him to slip

Well hello there fellow humans... human fella's

Turns out these chapters are coming out must faster than I anticipated... guess I really have a lot on my mind I just wanted to write from

Now before you lot get all grumble on my reason for Naruto to have such an ability hear me out.

Wraithbone, as far as I can remember is basically the eldar using their memories with their psychic powers to pull that substance out from the warp, my logic being that their soul connects to those memories in the warp and 'pulls' them out to form the material every eldar worth their salt uses for everything in their day to day life.

Chakra on the other hand doesn't use the warp. So the logic of Naruto being able to instead 'project' this substance from himself seems more plausible. Like reaching the same results even though the steps are all mixed up.

Anyway. ... Our man Naruto is the embodiment of emotions... The man has made people stop fighting because he for some reason or another can 'connect' his emotions to others. That is one of his strengths. Making this ability just a bit self intuitive.

At least according to my head cannon.

Anyway... Until next time people...
