Water 7 Peninsula, Going Merry

Zoro was sleeping on deck, not long after Luffy's group had left Chopper and Robin had also headed out as well. Shortly afterwards Sanji had discovered that the two had gone and not wanting to stay with Zoro he headed out to restock the ships food supplies.

This left Zoro to guard, he was snoring away when suddenly his eyes snapped open and he drew his sword to block and incoming attack.

"I thought you were asleep," The attacker said in surprise.

Zoro stared at them, menacingly there was a large group of them and all of them were wearing a black outfit with a pink star painted on somewhere on their clothes along with goggles.

"Who, the hell are you?" Zoro growled, easily holding all the attackers back.

"We are bounty hunters and you Pirate hunter Zoro are our prey," the leader proclaimed.

"We are the Franky Family and the 60 million on your head will be ours," The Leader shouted with pride "You should be consider yourself lucky that we will be the one to take you in,"

Zoro responded by slicing the leaders sword in half. The leader stopped his rant and stared in fear at his now broken sword. He then looked slowly up at Zoro who had a terrifying aura coming off him that practically screamed demon.

"You take me in…yeah right. You guys consider yourselves unlucky…for interrupting my nap," Zoro's said darkly.

"Nitoryou SAI KURU!" Zoro cried out. He held two of his swords in front of him pointing up, like rhinoceros horns and spun around at an incredible speed. Within one strike he sent all the Franky Family flying into the water.

Zoro sheathed his sword and watched them all swim away in fear.

"Boring, it's too dull around here," Zoro sighed as he sat back down in his resting spot and went back to sleep.

Busy Streets of Water 7

Robin and Chopper were exploring the market and main shopping district of the city; they did not have any particular destination in mind, Chopper was keen to find a book shop but other than that they were just out happy to be out on such a nice day.

"The crystal clear water is so beautiful," Robin said as she was enjoying the serene beauty of the city.

"And they have walkable roads to," Chopper added, taking in the sights "Perfect for us fruit users,"

"Indeed it is," Robin agreed.

"WHOA WHAT"S THAT ROBIN?!" Chopper cried out.

Robin turned to see the source of Chopper's interest, just up ahead was a shop selling strange masks. The shop owner looked like a peddler as he had a large back pack near his feet with masks hanging off it. He turned to look at them.

"This is a mask shop," Robin explained as they approached "Didn't you notice all those people we passed by with the odd faces,"

"They were wearing masks? I thought they were they're actual faces," Chopper commented and he looked over the masks at the stall.

"Apparently the people wearing masks are preparing to go to an island nearby hosting a party,"

"How did you know that?"

"Everyone on the street was talking about it,"

"Really…I never noticed,"

"It's a force of habit of mine to listen and observe the world around me," Robin explained, a fond smile in place "I've been doing it since I was a child,"

"Wow, you're incredible Robin" Chopper said in awe.

Robin chuckled at the praise and the mask salesman came up to them.

"Welcome, are you interested in my masks…they are all special and one of a kind," the man said with a creepy smile.

"Not thank you, we were just looking," Robin said politely as Chopper moved away from the stand.

Robin followed but the man suddenly grabbed her wrist stopping her and looked at her directly in the eyes.

"Oh my…you've met with a terrible fate haven't you?"(1) the mask salesmen said with a light chuckle.

Robin gave him a surprised look but Chopper called her away before she could ask what he meant.

She turned and looked towards Chopper who had found a book shop not far up ahead.

"Robin look a book store, let's go in," Chopper said happily.

"Sure," Robin nodded in agreement and Chopper shifted into this human form and walked in.

Robin pulled out of the mask salesmen's grip and walked away from the creepy mask salesman towards the book store fully aware that he was staring at her with intense eyes.

"CP9," she herd as a person with deep voice in a mask walked past her.

Robin froze and looked back to see the person in the mask continue to walk down the street as if nothing happened while Robin stayed in place, trembling in fear.

"Yes….a terrible fate indeed," the mask salesman muttered "I wonder if they can change your fate,"

Though Robin was too afraid to hear or even notice the comment.

Galley-La Shipyard, Luffy's Group

Since there was a massive crowd around the ship yard Nami decided it would be best to get the money exchanged first so they would know how much they had for the Merry's repairs. Usopp said he would gladly add his share of the treasure to the repair fund if it would ensure the Merry was repaired properly.

They followed the directions that the man in the crowd had given them and found a large bank; Luffy went up to one of the tellers and showed him the gold.

"Cash please," he said with a smile.

The teller nearly fainted at the sight of all the gold and instantly ran to get the banks head appraiser and manger. The crew were quickly taken to a VIP room and the appraiser got to work and gave the crew the estimated value of there gold.

"100 MILLION BERI?!" Luffy burst out in shock.

"Wow," Connor said. He couldn't believe what he was hearing. He had learned much about the currency in his time with the crew and his lessons with Robin so he knew that the Straw Hats were about to become very rich.

"Yes," The Exchanger said, studying the gold intently "These are worth every penny. There ancient and in almost perfect condition…there archaeological value is quite clear,"

"With that amount we could easily repair the Merry," Usopp said.

"And get a bronze statue," Luffy added.

"How many times…we are not doing getting a bronze statue," Usopp moaned.

"If you have no more questions I'll go prepare the cash right now," The appraiser said eagerly and pulled out a contract and a pen "I just need you to sign here," was ready to leave.

Luffy was eager to sign however Nami slammed her foot down into the middle of the table on the contract glaring directly at the gold exchanger.

"Mr. Appraiser, before that I have three things I need to tell you," Nami said in a calm but scary manner.

"First off," Nami pointed her thumb over to Luffy "This guy has a 100 million bounty on his head,"

"Secondly, I don't agree with your assessment nor do I think your offer is good enough," she continued.

"Thirdly…if you lie again, we will cut your head off here and now and negotiate with your replacement," Nami finished.

The appraisers face paled at this new information, he quickly apologised and amended the price and had the money brought out.

"300 HUNDRED MILLION BERI?!" The four pirates of them cried happily and bathed in the money.

"I'M RICH!" Nami yelled with joy "FINANLY I'M RICH!"

"ITS NOT ALL FOR YOU!" Usopp reprimanded.

"With this much we can surly afforded any price those carpenters ask," Connor said happily.

Luffy agreed, the bank manager had three suit cases prepared and once the money was loaded and safely packed away in them(under Nami's watchful and critical eye of course)The four of them walked out, Luffy, Usopp and Nami carrying briefcases with 100 beri million each.

"Wow," Usopp shivered with excitement and disbelief "I can't believe I'm holding 100 million beli,"

"I know…I'm super happy I became a pirate," Luffy said as he was swinging his case around carelessly.

"Luffy maybe you shouldn't do that," Connor advised.

"Why not?" Luffy asked and he suddenly lost his grip by accident and the suitcase filled with money head straight for the water.

"Oops" Luffy said.

"NOOOO!" Nami and Usopp cried as dove in to save it. But Luffy caught it with his outstretched arm and Nami and Usopp wound up falling in the water for nothing.

"DO THAT AGAIN AND I'LL BEAT YOU UP!" Nami threatened and pulled on the captain's face.

"AND I'LL BREAK YOUR TEETH!" Usopp added and did the same thing to the other side.

Connor sighed and shook his head, it turns out that both Nami's and Usopp's earlier assessment of Luffy being untrustworthy to handle large amounts of money were spot on…but he knew that already.

They headed back to the shipyard in hopes of finding a carpenter to repair the Merry. When they returned to the entrance of the shipyard the crowd was gone and Luffy attempted to enter the work area by crossing the safety line; but he was stopped by one of the carpenters.

"Hey Hold on," The worker suddenly appearing from nowhere "You're not from here allowed in here. Let's talk outside,"

The man climbed over the safety line and looked up and the crew was met with a strange face that made them all recoil in shock.

He had big black eyes with 3 eyelashes on top of his eye, and a long square shaped nose. He wore a white cap, a high-collared orange shirt with blue sleeves, jeans and white sneakers.

"Hi Usopp," Luffy greeted.

This earned him a smack on the head from the sniper next to him.

"Idiot I'm right here," the sniper scolded.

"Although…this guy dose look a lot like him," Connor observed.

"Your right…but his nose is rectangular instead of round," Nami nodded in agreement.

"My name is Kaku and I'm one of the Forman at the shipyard," Kaku introduced "How can I help you guys,"

"We need to see Mr. Iceberg about repairing our ship," Nami said and handed the carpenter Kokro's letter.

"Oh it's a recommendation letter from KoKoro at the shift station" The man said, reading the note.

Luffy craned his head sideways to get a better look at the carpenter.

"Are you Iceberg?" Luffy asked.

"He just told us his name was Kaku," Usopp reminded.

"Do you know Iceberg?" Nami inquired ignoring the other too.

"Well sure, how could I not," Kaku responded like it was basic knowledge and handed the note back to Nami "Mr. Iceberg is the mayor of Water 7. He's also the president of Galley-La Company and runs the sea train,"

"He is…he must be busy," Connor said.

"Oh yeah he's always busy with work and running the city," Kaku agreed "in fact it's near impossible to get a meeting with him unless you book it at least two years in advance,"

"What but we don't have that kind of time," Nami claimed.

"Yeah we need our ship repaired urgently," Usopp agreed.

"Is that all…okay I can help you out. Where's your ship docked and what's it's model?" Kaku asked as he removed his tools and started doing leg stretches.

"It's docked at the peninsula and it's a Caravel model," Nami told him.

"Alright, I'll go check out the condition of your ship. That way you can meet with Iceberg sooner and we can tell you exactly what needs to be fixed and give you an estimated time and price," Kaku claimed.

"Check the ship?" Usopp asked a bit confused "How. By Yagara?"

The galley-La employee laughed at that.

"No that would take too long. 10 minutes are all I need,"

"10 minutes?" Connor asked.

"10 minutes" the man repeated and squatted down into a starting position.

"What about the 2 year waiting list?" Nami asked.

"Oh that's for official business….Iceberg always makes time for customers of the Gallay-La," Kaku assured "the longest anyone's had to wait to see him for business involving ships is half a day,"

"That is a lot better than 2 years," Usopp agreed.

Kaku nodded in agreement, he then launched into a sprint at an amazing pace and headed straight for the edge of the shipyards level.

"Wait, that's a cliff!" Nami called out after him.

Paying her no mind Kaku threw his arms out and performed an almighty jump into the air and off the cliff.

"Did he just jump off a building…why in the world did he just jump off a building?!" Connor exclaimed worriedly "You'd have to be insane to willingly jump off something as high as a building!"

"That's ok," A man said as he walked up behind them, with a woman right next to him.

The Straw Hats turned to look at a man with freshly cut blue hair He wore a red and orange striped jacket over an unbuttoned orange shirt with a wide collar, black suit pants and black shoes. There was a tiny mouse head poking out of his suit his jacket pocket.

Next to him was a fairly young female with blonde-hair tied into a tight ponytail and glasses. She wore a smart gold coloured collard blazer with a black mini-skirt and high heeled boots that came up just below her knees and was holding a blue folder.

"People call him Yamakaze, the mountain wind. He's the chief mechanic of dock 1. Galley-La company, Kaku," the man claimed.

"Huh? Who are you?" Luffy asked.

Water 7 city streets

After leaving the ship Sanji rented his own Bull and had headed to the markets. He found it to pleasant and also enjoyed eyeing off some of the prettier ladies. Once he had finished his shopping he found himself wandering around trying to find where he had left his Yaggra.

As he was trying to remember which street he had left it tied up at he noticed Robin with a masked individual and she did not look very happy…in fact she looked very worried.

Sanji instantly ran over to follow her.

"ROBIN-CHAWNNNN!" Sanji called out and rounded a corner only to find both Robin and the masked individual gone.

"Huh…where did they go?" Sanji asked scratching his head in confusion. Sanji looked up just in time to see Kaku jumping over buildings.

"Was that Usopp?" Sanji asked.

Going Merry, Water 7 Peninsula

Kaku traversed the rooftops and the entirety of Water 7 in a few minutes. He landed at the peninsula to see a lone ship floating there.

"Ah that must be it, they said it was a Caravel model," Kaku said.

He walked up to the ship and observed the exterior hull with critical eyes. Kaku nodded taking mental notes before he jumped up aboard. He took a quick glance around already starting his evaluating the ships condition.

Kaku noticed that Zoro was sleeping up on deck, it was not unusual to have a few crew members stay back and guard the ship. Kaku didn't think too much of the sleeping swordsman and continued his work quietly and headed to the mast.

He looked up at it and touched it, applying a small amount of pressure to it and it creaked in response.

"This will need replacing," Kaku commented and then moved to the railing near Zoro.

Zoro opened one to see a long nose and immediately assumed it was Usopp and closed his eye again…however he quickly registered that it was not Usopp and sprang into action.

"Hey who the hell are you?" Zoro demanded with his swords drawn.

"Oh sorry, did I wake you up?" Kaku apologised.

"Yeah, now tell me who you are," Zoro repeated.

"My name is Kaku, I'm one of the shipwrights who work at on the Island," Kaku claimed.

"Shipwrights?" Zoro asked.

Kaku nodded.

"I came to evaluate your ship and see what needs repairing,"

"Oh okay…I think we need a new mast at least," Zoro said sheathing his sword "It came off today when I pulled the sails in,"

"It did….oh dear….anything else?" Kaku asked.

"There are a few holes in the hull…our sniper maintains the patch jobs but we really need them fixed too," Zoro added.

"Your sniper maintains the ship?" Kaku asked.

Zoro nodded.

"Don't you have a trained Shipwright on board?" he asked.

"No, we're hoping to pick one up here once the Merry's repaired," Zoro claimed.

Kaku nodded and he continued to look around. He would ask Zoro a question every now and then on damages and the swordsman did his best to answer. Once he was finished on deck Kaku went below to the men's quarters; he found a loose floor board and removed it and a couple of others.

Zoro was not happy about it but Kaku assured him that this was part of his inspection and he would put it straight back. The carpenter bent down and looked inside and his eyes widened at what he saw.

He straightened up and let out a long sigh before putting the floorboards back.

"I'm all done here….sorry to have woken you," Kaku said.

"Wait…don't you want to see the rest of the ship?" Zoro asked.

"I don't need too," Kaku responded.

"What's that mean? Is it bad?" Zoro asked.

Kaku looked at Zoro with regret in his eyes.

"What….what is it?" The swords man asked.

Gallay-La Shipyard, Luffy's Group, 10 minutes ago

After Kaku left the rest of the Straw-Hats were in awe of the display they had seen and the man who approached them had explained Kakus habit of jumping over the city to get to ships to evaluate them.

"So he really won't die from jumping of something this high?" Connor asked impressed.

"Of course not, our shipwrights are not to be underestimated," the man claimed "If you want fast, sturdy ships, then you cannot trust someone with run of the mill skills,"

He then turned towards the woman secretary.

"Kalifa?" he asked.

"Yes, I have identified them," the woman now identified as Kalifa stated casually as she opened her appointment folder and read her notes. "Straw Hat Luffy, Pirate Hunter Zoro and Nico Robin,"

The look on Iceberg's face changed slightly upon hearing Robin's name, but none of the crew noticed.

"Three among their crew are wanted and their total combined bounty is approximately 239 beli. They are originally from East Blue and currently have seven members; they are commonly known as the Straw Hat Pirates," Kalifa reported.

"8," Luffy corrected.

"Excuse me?"

"We have eight members," the rubber captain repeated and pointed at Connor "he's part of my crew too,"

"Really? My research showed that a child hostage had been seen with them…is that you?" Kalifa asked Connor.

"No I'm part of the crew, not a hostage and I wish people would stop thinking that," Connor whined.

"I see….my apologies. I will update my information post haste," Kalifa said "May I have your name?"

"Connor," the boy responded.

"Connor…." Kalifa trailed off expecting a last name.

Connor glanced up at Luffy for a second before turning his attention back to the assistant.

"That's it…just Connor," he said.

"Very well…thank you," she responded professionally and wrote it down in her notes.

"The east blue….well you have certainly come a long way," the man said, somewhat impressed. "I am Iceberg, the mayor of this city and president of the Gallay-La compony,"

He petted a small, white mouse that was in his suit pocket.

"And this is a mouse I picked up earlier today. His name shall be...Tyrannosaurs,"

"You just made that up," Usopp claimed.

Yes I did," Iceberg agreed and then turned to Kalifa "Please order him some food and a cage,"

"It has already been done, one will be delivered and set up in both your home and office by sunset," Kalifa informed "that way your new pet may accompany you wherever you go,"

"Efficient as always, Kalifa," Iceberg complimented.

"Thank you, sir," Kalifa said humbly and pushed her glasses up.

"More importantly, you have a lunch meeting at the Stain Glass Hotel in ten minutes. After that, you are giving a lecture at the local school, followed by a meeting with the Mayor from Puchi and then there is some paperwork for you to look over when you return to the office," Kalifa said as she read the mayors schedule list.

"I don't want to do any of that," Iceberg whined childishly.

"Very well, I will cancel everything," Kalifa said nonchalantly as she wrote in her notes.

"You're letting him blow it all off?" Usopp asked in surprise.

"I am the mayor and the most important person in this city…there for I can to do as I please," Iceberg said casually.

"You're a pretty irresponsible mayor," Usopp commented.

"This guy is selfish, but he's the guy the old lady was talking about, right?" Luffy asked as he turned towards Nami.

"Yes I think so," Nami agreed.

"ILL MANNERED BRATS!" Kalifa launched a flurry of kicks at the Straw Hats. Luffy expertly dodged, Nami ducked, while poor Usopp got hit.

"You want to fight?" Luffy challenged.

"How dare you speak to the world's greatest ship maker with such disrespect," Kalifa scolded.

"Ah," Kalifa just realised what she had done "I apologise I lost my cool back there,"

"But you should seriously show Iceberg respect," The secretary quickly added "He is the hero of the city after all,"

"Please do not make Kalifa angry," Iceberg said sharply. He turned around revealing his face half bruised, "When she gets angry, she does not discriminate,"

"MOST OF THE KICKS LANDED ON HIM!" Usopp yelled

"YOU'RE THE UNGRACIOUS ONE!" Luffy added in equal outrage.

"She's even scarier than Nami," Conner said.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Nami demanded glaring at him.

Connor instantly hid behind Luffy proving his point.

Nami sighed and re-focused on Iceberg.

"If your Iceberg will you please look at this?" Nami asked, getting back on subject. She handed Kokoro's letter to him "It's a letter of introduction,"

Iceberg carefully took the letter and unfolded it.

"Look at their ship and fix it properly. Kokoro," he read, he stared at the piece of paper and promptly tore it up.

"Huh, you mean you won't!?" Nami exclaimed. "Please, fix our ship! We can pay,"

"The Merry's in rough shape from so much sailing," Luffy said with a note of desperation. "We need your help, mister,"

"Okay," Iceberg answered casually.

"So flippantly," Usopp yelled. "It's that easy!?"

"Sure," Iceberg said neutrally.

"If you were going to help us…Then why did you rip up the letter?" Conner asked.

"There was a kiss mark, it was disgusting," Iceberg answered "I did not like looking at it,"

"Oh…so how do you know Kokoro?" Connor asked.

"She's an old drinking buddy of mine," Iceberg shrugged.

"That makes way to much sense," Nami said.

"Well, that aside, Kaku has already gone to evaluate your ship so we can't do any negotiations until he gets back," He stretched his arms and picked his nose in boredom. "Since it is such a boring day, would you like a tour of the shipyard?"

"Yeah," Luffy responded excitedly.

"If you were board why did you cancel all your work?" Usopp asked.

"Because I could," Iceberg answered simply.

"Alright let's go explore the shipyard," Luffy said in his typical manner.

"Ah I almost forgot our cash," Usopp said, turning to get the cases only to see a group of shady looking men surrounding the briefcases.

They noticed Usopp looking at them and they grabbed two before running away at top speed. The men jumped on some Yaggara and started to swim away.

"HEY!" Usopp yelled "GIVE ME BACK MY 200 MILLION BERI!"

But it was too late as the men were already a fair distance away and dancing in triumph.

"DID YOU HEAR THAT? 200 MILLION BERI!" One of the men cheered "THANKS BRO WAHAHA!"

"Franky Family," Iceberg muttered in annoyance, recognising the men.

Luffy was about to chase after them when the group spied a commotion on the bridge nearby. A blond haired man with a cigar in his mouth was running from two men dressed in suits. He wore a denim jacket has a flame patterns, over a yellow T-shirt, with white concentric circles in the middle of it, a belt around his waist with a little bag attached to it, and a pair of loose trousers tucked inside his boots and a pair of orange goggles on top.

"Ah it looks like Paulie is running from debt collectors again," Kalifa said offhandedly

The man named Paulie saw the two ships being pulled by the Yagara bulls and then jumped over the bridge. Using rope he managed to easily defeat the Franky family with ease forcing them overboard into the canal.

"Phew," Usopp breathed a sigh of relief "Is he one of your carpenters?"

"Yes he is but…" Iceberg started.

"Hey, thanks for retrieving our money!" Usopp shouted, waving his arms in glee and interrupting Iceberg.

"Money?" Palluie asked and glanced down at the briefcases, his face lit up once he saw what was inside.

"Thanks for the donation," he called back waving at Usopp.

"HEY HEY HEY GET BACK HERE!" Usopp yelled.

Several minutes later, Paulie was being dragged by the ear by is a tall and slim, yet muscular man with arched eyebrows and a close-shaved goatee. He has shoulder length wavy hair a pidgin resting on his shoulder. He wore brown trousers with caramel suspenders over a white tank-top and shoes with black toe-caps.

"Hey stop pulling my ear" Pauli complained "I won't run away anymore ok. It wasn't easy getting this money. I'll remember this Lucci,"

"You tried to steal other people's money to pay your debts," The bird spoke in clear disappointment "You are a disgrace,"

"I found it," Paulie argued.

The man dragged Paulie back towards the crew, they were relieved to know their cash was safe and none of it had been taken. Once they were in front of Iceberg he tugged harder.

"STOP PULLING MY EAR!" Paulie shouted.

"We got him Iceberg-san" the pidgin declared.

"Thank you Lucci" Iceberg said.

"The bird just talked!" Luffy exclaimed.

"Yes, this is Lucci one of our workers. Unfortunately he is a mute and cannot speak so he trained his pidgin Hattori to speak for him," Iceberg claimed.

"How…exactly did he do that?" Connor asked.

"I don't know," Iceberg shrugged "I actually only hired him so I could figure it out…give me something to do,"

"You could just ask," the bird responded.

"But where would be the fun in that?" Iceberg responded.

"This man is Paulie… our head Forman," Kalifa introduced.

"Our group's scumbag caused you problems" the bird spoke again "And for that we apologise,"

Lucci tossed Paulie down to the floor, and the carpenter landed flat on his face. Hattori reprimanded him and demanded he apologise to the Straw Hats. Paulie did so and handed back the briefcases, with a kind smile on his face with while suggesting a 10% reward for saving the money.

That earned the carpenter a whack across the head from Lucci, who used a hammer.

"Thank you for getting our money back," Usopp said gratefully to Lucci "I'm sorry you had to fix my mistake,"

The man didn't respond and just stared at the sniper.

"Who were those strangely dressed people that took our money?" Nami asked.

"That was the Franky Family," Kalifa explained "A group of ship scavengers,"

"Ship Scavengers?" Connor asked curiously.

"Yes" Kalifa said "They also work as bounty hunters, attacking pirates who come here. They are a troublesome bunch,"

"But they didn't look that tough," Luffy said.

"They aren't," Iceberg said "However there boss Franky should never be underestimated,"

"So now that we have our money can we look at your shipyard?" Luffy asked.

Iceberg nodded and told Lucci and Paulie to open the large gates and the Straw Hats entered the shipyard. It was very impressive, every single worker took note of Iceberg and greeted him with ecstatic enthusiasm and Iceberg began to lead the crew on a tour of the Galley-La docks and work stations.

"Why is Iceberg so popular," Connor asked Kalifa.

"Five years ago, there was seven separate competing shipyard docks on this island. Then Iceberg came along and with his skill and charisma alone. He united the seven docks under one banner forming the Galley-La Compony," Kalifa answered.

"One man unified an entire city….is that even possible?" Connor asked.

"It is, if we were a large waring country I have little doubt he would have united that too," Kalifa claimed.

Connor looked over to Iceberg in admiration and saw that Luffy was talking to him.

"Hey Mister, everyone says you're a the best carpenter," Luffy complimented "We're looking for one, so join my pirate crew,"

"WHAT DID YOU SAY?!" Paulie yelled.

"ILL-MANNERED BRAT!" Kalifa cried out and aimed her kicks at Luffy…but they all hit Iceberg.

"I appreciate the offer but I don't want to leave the city," Iceberg claimed "However your free ask and take any one here if they agree...but I doubt anyone will be willing to join you,"

"Awww….." Luffy whined and he then noticed a newly built ship.

"Hey can I go look at that," Luffy asked and pointed to the ship. Completely forgetting his disappointment.

"Sure," Iceberg said and he led Luffy, Nami and Connor over to the ship and explained passionately about it; going into great details on how it was made.

As Iceberg explained to the others how the ship was made Usopp wandered around with two of the three briefcases and became fixated on a custom made cannon that was out on display. Usopp was just wondering if the carpenters would let him test fire it and he was so focused on the cannon that he did not notice the Franky Family sneak up behind him.

Half way through his explanations of the ship Kaku returned and he quickly found the group and the group turned to him.

"Ah Kaku is back, now we can start negotiations and begin repairing your ship," Iceberg said.

"Actually…" Kaku started.

(1)So given what's about to happen in this and the next Arc and the fact that in both Anime/Manga people were walking around with masks on I put the Happy Mask Salesmen in here to give a bit of foreshadowing of what's to come. Oh and for those that did not notice...Majors Mask was in the previous Chapter.
