Apokolips

Granny scowled with a vexed expression at the shape-shifting hero, "These ladies are property of the almighty Darkseid, I'm afraid you are owed nothing, boy."

Ben scoffed and turned to the right, where he shared eye contact with the bright-auburn haired sister-figure he'd failed to protect all those years ago, "Gwen… I'm so sorry…" he spoke up as nobody stopped him from getting closer prompting her to raise a seemingly uninterested brow at him. He placed his hands on either of her shoulders as everyone present simply spectated, even Granny wanted to see if her new slave would react. "I should have protected you from Vilgax but, I… I froze and I'm so sorry," Gwen glanced down at his hands still on her shoulders before looking back up at him with her crimson eyes overshadowing the natural emerald.

There was a tense silence that erupted for the next half-minute, the smoldering rock behind them crackling was the only sound for what seemed like an eternity; M'gaan was the most anxious, she could hardly feel any emotion coming from Gwen, and her mind was defended by something unnatural to her which kept the Martian from reading her thoughts.

Without warning, Gwen reached up grabbing his arms still outstretched to her shoulders and pulled him forward into her knee strike to his stomach with a single motion, hitting him hard enough to force him into a keeled over position, clutching his abdomen in pain, "I am Anodyne, a servant of Lord Darkseid, you are the infestation, I cannot be manipulated by emotions," her expression was cold and unfeeling, staring down at Ben as he fell to his knees.

"Ben!" M'gaan rushed to his side, helping him back up to his feet slowly while the others simply prepared themselves for a fight; John pulled back his coat-sleeves a bit before summoning hellish orange flames to engulf either of his hands for an offensive spell, Cyborg formed his sonic-cannon out of his right arm taking aim, and Zatanna pulled a deck of cards from thin-air igniting them with a dark-purple aura to be used as projectiles.

"You alright, mate?" John asked aloud without taking his glowing golden eyes off of Granny Goodness standing between the female warriors. They watched as Blackfire summoned bright emerald fire which engulfed her hair and fists, clutched at her side; Anodyne simply watched as the hero who tried to appeal to her backed away with his paper-white skinned girlfriend. "You wanna grant us the honor of changing forms sometime today, yea?" Constantine shouted over his shoulder towards Ben with his thick Lancashire accent, not making it any less obnoxious.

Ben sucked up a long gulp of air and shook his head, placing his hand gently on M'gaan's prompting her to take it back as he nodded to her, communicating to her without even a thought that he could handle this, "Not really but, when do I ever get what I want," he responded to the alcoholic-mage. He slid two fingers over the dial for nostalgia's sake, summoning an emerald holographic hard-light ring with each of his alien's faces. "It's hero time," he muttered to himself before slapping the dial and exploding in a flash of green-light.

Blackfire took a step forwards but, was halted by Granny's staff swinging down in front of her from the side, "Anodyne, sweetie, why don't you handle the shapeshifter since he seems so desperate for your attention; Blackfire here will take care of our other guests for us."

"Yes, Granny," both ladies spoke in unison.

Ben stepped out of the glow as the humanoid made of purple-crystals known as Chromastone, receiving a furious glare from Gwen who had her orders. Her entire body was illuminated by a thin-aura of pink mana allowing her to float across the distance between them until she was hovering a foot off the ground, ten feet from where Chromastone was standing. "We don't have to do this," he assured her.

Her glare never wavered, staring down at him with disgust, "Yes, we do," she summoned pink-electricity cackling down her fingertips and up her forearms before unleashing it as a bolt of mystic lighting on Chromastone who crossed his arms to block it, forcing him back on is heels skating through the soot layered ground.

It was clear that Gwen wasn't holding back for the sake of her humanity or anything else, knowing it was her personal rule to never use too much of her powers for fear of losing herself to it. Chromastone absorbed the energy he was hit with as it channeled from his arms into rainbow-cascaded energy that surged into his chest; he opened his arms quickly firing a beam of the same kaleidoscope colored energy from the center of his torso which she only managed to defend against by surrounding herself with a bubble of pink-mana.

M'gaan was in awe of Gwen's abilities, they were much more refined and graceful than anything she'd seen Ben do in the past; she was still fully camouflaged floating a few hundred feet away from the battle, waiting for a proper opening.

As their struggle went on, Blackfire approached the remaining three intruders with her palms facing upward at hip-level on either side of her body, surging with bright-green flames that surrounded her in a sort-of aura.

Cyborg was the first to engage with his sonic-cannon, firing off a blast of pure sound aimed directly at her chest; however, she was so fast she managed to dodge around it even after it was fired. Blackfire dashed through the air with incredible speed and grace, and before his sensors could even register it, Cyborg was struck with unsuspecting strength that warped a fist into his titanium torso. The impact knocked his three-hundred-pound mechanical body through the air, landing behind the two sorcerers on his back.

Zatanna swiped her hands through the air leaving seven cards out of her deck floating in a dark-purple glittering energy between her palms. With a single grunt she swung her hands forth, telekinetically launching all of them at Blackfire simultaneously. Each card was impowered by magic and easily held the cutting strength to slice through steel and the destructive power to explode with the force of a grenade; regardless, the alien-woman dodged between most of them by dipping her head out of the way or turning her body narrowly avoiding them all except for one. She caught the final card between her pointer and middle fingers inches from her tanned-orange face, after they recognized what she'd done, the card lit ablaze with bright-green fire consuming it.

Constantine knelt down and slapped his palms on the ground at his feet, whispering to himself, "Descendunt Foraminis," the ash at Blackfire's feet shook before opening up, threatening to swallow her before she simply levitated up out of the sinkhole to save herself, revealing she too could float. "Bloody bullocks, does everyone here fly now?"

Meanwhile, Chromastone sprinted away from Gwen as she fired bolt after bolt of mana projectiles exploding at his heels as he didn't stop to turn behind him and blast upwards at her with rainbow-energy from his fists. It was useless as she simply deflected each blast with a square-platform construct of pink mana. He quickly slapped his crystal-palm over the Omnitrix symbol on his chest, out of pure habit, triggering an instant transformation and explosion of bright-green light.

NRG emerged from the light as a bulky, armored, bipedal form with a helmet with three slits adorned across it to vent the natural heat radiating from the true creature locked within. Gwen fired another bolt of mana which clipped his shoulder and spun him around in place as NRG lost his balance and fell over, he accidently triggered a release of nuclear-energy which moved at the speed of light and struck her in the chest sending her to the ground in a smoking heap.

He quickly followed this fortunate circumstance with another attack, kneeling down and digging his fingers into the ground at his feet, he summoned molten lava from underground which channeled across the few dozen feet between himself and the recovering Gwen who just barely realized what he was doing before a massive eruption of lava exploded upwards beneath her like a geyser. NRG wasn't worried as he could clearly see she'd formed a sphere of mana around herself for the lava to drip off in time, though that wasn't the extent of his plan. He once again quickly shifted forms with a flash of light and a loud hum, emerging into the air as a large humanoid-moth creature with navy blue skin.

Big Chill circled the currently surrounded Gwen within her shield still covered in molten-lava rolling off the sides of her spherical construct; it took seconds for the Necrofrigian to cool the magma to harden while shrouding the entirety of it in ice, trapping her within for the time being. M'gaan revealed herself floating beside him, staring down at it almost waiting for her to break free, "Do you think it'll hold her?" she asked as he glanced over at her.

Big Chill noticed she was still overheating and used this respite as an opportunity to help his fiancé cool down, he exhaled a light gust of arctic wind at her, controlling it so as to not freeze her solid. "No, but it gives me a few seconds to think, and to make sure you're okay," Big Chill finished cooling her off, floating closer to her.

M'gaan smiled up at him, brushing some of her darker-red hair behind her ear, "Thanks," she said warmly but, quickly snapping back to the battlefield when the structure they'd trapped their enemy within began to shake vigorously breaking apart the ice supporting it. Her eyes flashed with a lime-green psychic energy, using her telekinesis in an attempt to keep Gwen from breaking free, "Any plans yet?" she uttered through clenched teeth.

Big Chill glanced back up at the castle where a figure floated in mid-air hundreds of feet above them, his hands closed tightly into fists meeting firmly behind his back, ominous eyes of crimson that glared in disgust. Darkseid turned and floated back into his castle after making direct eye contact with Big Chill, "Working on it," he narrowed his eyes and huffed with his long deep manner of speaking.

Cyborg lunged at Blackfire with a fist aimed for her head and rockets propelling him toward her at twice the speed of sound which she seemed to effortlessly weave around, thrusting her palm on his back with enough force to send him face first into the ash-layered ground. He quickly turned over with his arm now transformed into an energy rifle of some kind, blasting her in the chest and sending her onto her back hundreds of feet away.

The Tamaranian warrior got back to her feet slowly, still smoking from the blast which took her off guard; she snarled as her body ignited once again with luminescent emerald flames in a single flex. Constantine clapped his hands together, his pupils flaring with golden light as he spoke, "Coercitio," a simple spell which fired a golden beam of light at Blackfire, wrapping her arms in an energy construct of chains. She struggled with her enhanced-physiology to break free of her restraints, they shackled from her forearms to John's hands, "Augendae Catenis!" he shouted. The golden aura surrounding his connected palms grew brighter and fiercer with those words. The shackles that were creaking against Blackfire's strength suddenly grew, extending with another set of chains that swung around her neck forming a shimmering brace, "ArgH!" she shouted against her restraints.

Granny Goodness was less than impressed with her performance so far but, she turned her attention to the sorceress under her 'tutelage' currently doing quite well against the shapeshifter and his Martian girlfriend. The abusive Lieutenant turned to the battle, narrowing her eyes through the smoke and ash littered through the air between them and found Gwen trapped within a sphere of solid igneous rock, bolts of pink mana firing outward from within. Granny could see the shimmer in the air from the camouflaged Martian who seemed to be using telekinesis to keep the thick charcoal prison stable, "You have been a naughty-naughty girl, Miss Martian," she spoke her name with disgust but, still kept a sick smile as she gripped her sharpened staff and aimed it up at the distracted heroine. "Not to worry, when Granny is done with you, the only thing you'll want to use that powerful little mind of yours is for the service of Darkseid's will!"

M'gaan heard the annoying shout from the tyrannical woman come from the left far too late to dodge the concussive energy projectile that blindsided her sending her to the ground. She got to her hands and knees, coughing from the heat that began proving too much for her to keep herself completely invisible.

"Come on, Ben, you better have this-" M'gaan's mutters were cut off by Granny approaching much faster than her slightly-portly figure would suggest, kicking the Martian in the head, and sending her back down to the ground facing up.

"No more talking now, sweetheart, it's time for your first lesson!" Granny pressed her boot against M'gaan's chest keeping her pinned with Apokoliptan strength, aiming her sharpened staff in-between her eyes. M'gaan's eyes crossed to look at the tip nearly pressing against the skin of her brow, gulping down her spit as her mouth ran dry.

Several minutes ago, Darkseid stood in his throne room adorned with crimson drapery a few stories up, staring out the massive window that looked down on the battlefield with the rest of the intruders still fighting against his two newest pawns. Of course, he was well aware that the most powerful of them had separated from the battle, breaking down the entrance to his mighty fortress with his bare hands. His armed guards would prove no match for him as suddenly, he could hear the rhythmic thumping of a large enemy approaching.

Darkseid slowly turned around with his fists meeting behind his back, watching as the large doors to his throne room were busted off their hinges by a mighty-green fist. Ultimate Humungosaur quickly stomped through the doorway, aiming his fist at the tyrant on the other side of the room, reshaping it into a four-barrel rocket launcher. Without hesitation, he fired off one round of all four barrels launching explosive projectiles at the armored dictator who didn't even flinch as each of them detonated over his body.

When the smoke from his attack cleared, Darkseid stood completely unphased by the assault, continuing to stare down his evolved-alien opponent without a care. Ultimate Humungosaur scowled back at him, "Let us leave with Gwen and that other girl, you have, like, a billion slaves… You don't need them!" Ben hated bargaining for people's lives as though they were objects to be traded but, he knew from stories that Clark had told that this was the only language a New God speaks.

"You dare to intrude on my planet, break into my throne room, and demand things of me?!" His eyes flashed bright crimson, exuding intense energy that streamed up around his face, "I am Darkseid, Lord of Apokolips, and you should be grateful that you are not already a slightly-larger than average pile of smoldering ash!"

"Let her go! Now!"

Darkseid smiled, stepping forward to close the distance between them slowly, standing about a foot taller than the Vaxasaurian whose cannon-launcher was now aimed directly at the tyrant's chest, "Your weapon cannot hurt me," he placed his stone-grey hand on Ultimate Humungosaur's arm, lowering it slowly, "You are hopelessly outmatched, boy, so I suggest you forget about the woman you lost, and face the reality that she is now mine," it was clear that Darkseid reveled in the pain he dealt others, emotional or otherwise.

Ultimate Humungosaur tightened his fists at what he said, finding enough anger and fury to do something he'd likely regret in the long run, "She's the only family I have left!" He right hooked Darkseid in the face which, in his rage, hit with even more force than his launcher. The New God was staggered as Ben appeared to take this opportunity to continue with a follow-up left-haymaker which knocked him back another few steps.

Meanwhile, "No more talking now, sweetheart, it's time for your first lesson!" Granny pressed her boot against M'gaan's chest keeping her pinned with Apokoliptan strength, aiming her sharpened staff at in-between her eyes. M'gaan's eyes crossed to look at the tip nearly pressing against the skin of her brow, gulping down her spit as her mouth ran dry.

Ultimate Humungosaur was stunned when his third strike was caught in one of Darkseid's palms, stopping his attack with one hand and little effort, "I was right to assume you were too weak to properly challenge me," he used his grip on the Vaxasaurian's fist to pull him in and turn him around so that his back was facing the window, "I suppose Vilgax greatly exaggerated your power," Darkseid fired twin beams of interdimensional power that struck Ultimate Humungosaur in the chest, the kinetic force sent him off his feet and through the massive window, landing on the ash littered ground outside the castle. When he opened his eyes, he was staring at a shocked Granny Goodness who turned her spear to aim it up at Ben's transformed state; M'gaan chuckled, part of her knowing he would always get to her just in time, he would always be her hero.

M'gaan watched as his green-reptilian tail came from behind and swung over her head, still on the ground looking up, as Granny was smacked by the metallic-mace adorned at the end of his tail. She flew through the air and struck a large stone-structure pultruding from the soot-covered ground. Ben transformed back into his human form to help his fiancé back to her feet, sticking out his hand which she grabbed, pulling her up and into his arms, "Are you okay?" he asked as he placed his hands on her shoulders.

M'gaan quickly smacked his hands away, "I should be asking you that, you just got launched out of Darkseid's throne room by laser beams!"

Ben glanced back at the shattered window where the New God stared down at them, floating in a perfect standing position down to the battlefield, "Negotiating with Apokoliptan's isn't exactly the easiest task in the world, honey!"

"Did you try to negotiate with him or did you punch him in the face?" M'gaan gave him a judgmental look he knew all too well.

Ben glanced back at her, he hated when she was right, "I may have punched him after the negotiations…"

"I don't have to read your mind to know you don't want to do this peacefully, even if it's an option," M'gaan placed her pale-skinned hand on the side of his face, drawing his attention to her bright amber eyes, "But you left your life as a killer behind and I need you to remember that."

"It's fucking Darkseid, babe, you don't think Superman tried negotiating with him before? I don't see how you could think I'd do any better," Ben turned his head to look up at him as the tyrant landed a few hundred feet away prompting Granny to get back to her feet and kneel at his presence, "This can only end one way."

M'gaan was about to protest when Darkseid spoke up with his deeply rough voice, "He speaks the truth, Martian, Darkseid does not negotiate with mortals, that fool High-Father is lucky that I grant him as much mercy as I have, and even his days are numbered," the Lord of Apokolips tightened his fist igniting a crimson-aura around it, like a powerful flame, "That device on your wrist somehow protects you from the effects of my Omega-Beams, it intrigues me."

Ben sighed, taking a step-in front of M'gaan, "Yea, a lot of people say that," he swiped his fingers over the faceplate summoning his holographic ring of aliens to select from.

Darkseid narrowed his eyes, intensifying his scowl down at the shapeshifter, "Relinquish it to me now and I shall make your deaths painless, refuse and you shall all know an eternity of pain and suffering," he finished his sentence with his hand open with his palm out.

"If I had a nickel for every time-Ow!" M'gaan elbowed Ben in the shoulder in an attempt to get him to take this more seriously, "Sorry, you aren't the first warlord to try and use my Omnitrix as a weapon of mass destruction," Ben continued his selection of the proper-alien, nonchalantly flipping through them just to show off the arrogance that felt the most comfortable for him, "And knowing my life, you somehow wont be the last…" he trailed off as he continued looking for the proper alien to fight as.

"Ah yes, the remarkable fighter from your Universe that calls himself Vilgax," Ben's gaze shot up from his wrist, staring up at Darkseid who was made aware of how the hero had arrived in this realm and why he left his world in the first place, it was the second time he'd heard that name since he got here, "When he detailed the enemies he vanquished before journeying here, I knew in my almighty wisdom that I could make use of those discarded souls."

"W-What are you saying?" Ben nearly shouted his question.

Almost as if on que, Gwen's volcanic prison exploded with an omnidirectional pulse of pink-mana sending large chunks of charcoal-rock through the air; by complete accident, one of those large portions of solid rock hit John on the side of his head. He fell to the ground clutching his skull where blood started to trickle into his hands, his injury released the spell that restrained Blackfire who broke free in a flaming emerald explosion.

Granny chuckled, getting back to her feet once again, approaching the warrior Tamaranian from behind, placing her wicked hands on the brainwashed girl's shoulders, "Good, my pet, now fry them alive for Granny!"

"Yes Granny," Blackfire formed massive orbs of bright green condensed flames in either hand, taking aim at Cyborg and Zatanna.

Ben's eyes never left Gwen as she floated across the battlefield to land in front of Darkseid, kneeling at his feet, "What is your will, my Lord?" she stated almost monotonically, staring at the ground.

Even though his expression was almost stoic watching his cousin bow to this scum of the Multiverse, M'gaan could feel Ben's heart breaking to pieces more and more each second he watched the scene unfold before them.

Darkseid gave a wicked smile down at the shapeshifting hero, taking satisfaction in his misery, "You believe there must be something of her left, do you not? They all believe such hopeful nonsense, that is, until it is the very loved one they came to save driving a blade into their heart."

Ben snapped, slapping the Omnitrix with a fury he hadn't used since the first time he faced Vilgax after losing his family; flying from the emerald genetic explosion and tackling Darkseid through the air, Atomix trailed bright-green nuclear energy through the dark skies from his boots as he forced his opponent into the oxygen snuffed upper-atmosphere.

Gwen's pony-tail swung back as her head and eyes quickly followed her master into the sky until he left her sightline, "Hey! I know you don't know me, but, you have to remember who you were!" M'gaan's voice fell on deaf ears as Gwen slowly turned around to face her, lifting both of her hands up and summoning her pink-mana energy to surround her fists.

"You're right, you don't know me, you don't know anything about me!" Gwen floated off the ground with a neon-aura lining her body, M'gaan followed by levitating into the air after her.

"Trust me, I've seen Ben's memories, right now I know you better than you know yourself!" M'gaan argued as she dodged between spherical mana constructs that were launched at her, dipping, and weaving in the air around her, all the while secretly trying to breach whatever was protecting Gwen's mind. So far, it was no good, she would need to make physical contact to enter her psyche and show her the truth.

Cyborg formed a shield out of extended plating in his left-arm, using it to protect his face from the intense flames being lobbed at him by the alien-warrior with super-strength; she closed in on him as she switched to a continuous stream of flames from her palms pushing him to his knees.

"Retaw fo maerts!" Zatanna shouted summoning two high-pressure streams of water which slammed into the back of the fiery-warrior's head, creating a cloud of steam. Blackfire ceased her attack on Cyborg and turned around, launching an orb of flames at her with barely enough time for the sorceress to react, "Dleihs!" her quick uttering of that single word instantly summoned an energy-shield in the shape of a mystic totem, dispersing the explosion of fire around her body.

John struggled to get to his hands and knees but, was incredibly disoriented from the blow to his head; he fell to his back and stared up at the pitch-black sky now littered with crimson and emerald explosions of light, each one followed by its own thundering shockwave. He reached into his coat pocket and pulled out his flask, perching his lips to take a sip. It was pure luck that a stray green-flame would strike his hand; John glanced over at his ex-girlfriend, Zatanna, and how she deflected the oncoming flames with a mystic shield also sending sparks out around it. "Bloody Synchronicity Wave…" He struggled to his knees and shook his head, staring disappointedly down at his spilt liquor, snapping his fingers a single flame ignited from his thumb, lowering his hand to light the small pool of alcohol in front of him, "Trahunt Omnem Ignem!" the tiny liquor fire exploded into a blaze in front of him, allowing John to guide it towards Blackfire.

His mystic fire surrounded her like a cloud of toxic gas, absorbing the entirety of the flaming aura around her; Blackfire screamed in pain as her power was drained, falling to her hands and knees, barely able to move. The Tamaranian was shivering now, falling onto her side, and clutching her arms for warmth.

Cyborg and Zatanna rushed to John as he breathed heavily on his knees still bleeding profusely from the side of his head, he nearly fell over onto the dirt and ash when Zatanna just barely got her soft thighs beneath his face. He looked up and saw the most beautiful women he'd ever met, and she was so worried about him, not that he could hear her anymore shouting up at Cyborg, it was all a dull, muffled, blur. That is until Zatanna leaned close, removing her porcelain-white gloves, and placing her hands on either sides of his head, whispering something in her backwards language into his ear.

Suddenly, John felt all of his marbles being put back in place, his head stopped throbbing and his senses returned to him; his eyes shot open and he sat up quickly, still pretty confused, "Did I get her?" he asked slowly glancing up at Cyborg.

Victor glanced over at Blackfire shivering in the ashes that layered the ground on this planet only a few hundred feet away, "You did something to her, her body-heat is practically non-existent…" he read off his scanners which analyzed her in the distance.

John glanced back at Zatanna who tried not to make eye-contact but, failed resulting in the both of them blushing and turning away, "I- uh, normally I wouldn't have used that incantation due it usually sapping every last drop of heat from the victims body leaving them a frozen, shriveled, raisin… but with all that fire I figured the excess would-" they were interrupted when they heard M'gaan scream from behind them.

They turned to face her finding M'gaan barely holding a telekinetic shield against a beam from Granny's staff and a bolt of pink-lightning from Gwen looking down on them from floating several feet above. John got to his feet and patted Cyborg on the back, "Vic can run some interference while we figure out the, uh, right incantation…"

Victor didn't question it, he saw M'gaan in trouble and rushed to help her regardless, Miss Martian was the first hero to really welcome Cyborg personally into the world of the heroes even when he didn't know where in the world he could belong after his accident. After cutting his father out of his life and losing his mother plus his football career all at the same time, M'gaan didn't even hesitate to help make him feel welcomed and loved by all of the friends he'd made this last year. Cyborg propelled his three-hundred-pound body up into the air, tackling Gwen to the ground and attempting to keep her pinned with his mechanical-strength alone.

"What are you talking about, incantation?" Zatanna questioned, folding her arms over her chest.

John turned to face her, pulling a cigarette from his coat pocket, and holding it between his fingers, "Just a clever deception, love, now I know what spell you just used to heal me and I'm tellin' ya now you better knock it off."

"I practically save your life and this is the thanks I get!?" she shouted back.

He scoffed back at her, placing the cig in-between his lips, "By lobbin' years off your life? For a bastard like me? I don't think so, love."

"Why not? Because you have this insane, delusional notion that you're doomed to walk this Earth alone?! That nobody could possibly love you?!" Zatanna pushed him aside and walked away towards the battle where Cyborg was starting to struggle on the ground with Gwen, "Tough shit, I still love you!" she shouted over her shoulder, "Now get out here and fight!"

Johnny smirked, following her towards their comrades, "Oi, don't be orderin' me around, mutatio," he whispered the incantation into his hands and when he pulled them away, the cigarette was gone instead a silver-gleaming dagger was in his grip.

"Don't pretend you don't love it!" Zatanna began a sprint toward M'gaan once she was done conversing with her ex, the Martian was still defending against a beam that was being fired from Granny's spear. The sorceress held her hand out at the weapon, "Nopaew reh maj," she whispered which suddenly caused the Apokoliptan spear to clank loudly, ceasing its continuous beam and confusing Granny.

M'gaan slowly got to her feet as Granny tossed her spear in frustration, planning to take them with her physical strength instead, "You ladies have been very naughty, Granny is going to have much fun with you two in the re-education chambers," her sinister grin only made the two heroines want to cringe.

"I don't think so!" Miss Martian shouted, her eyes glowing lime-green and her expression filled with untamed fury; she thrusted her palms forward, clawing at the air which telekinetically ripped apart Granny's armor piece by piece, "What you do to these women, it's sick! Twisted! Cruel! Sadistic!" tearing another part of her armor off with every emphasized shout, "I could break your brain and send you back to your most basic, diaper filling instincts…" she held Granny in a powerful telekinetic grip, keeping her floating off her overweight legs, and dragging her through the air until she was floating just feet away staring into M'gaan's illuminated eyes. "But, I'm not the inhumane piece of garbage that you are, instead you're just going to wake up with the worst headache you'll ever have," she widened her eyes and intensified her reach into Granny Goodness's head, breaching her mental defenses and shutting off her conscious mind by force. Granny collapsed to the ground face first, she wouldn't be waking up any time soon.

M'gaan quickly force-pushed Zatanna to the ground just in time to avoid Cyborg flying passed them with enough force to destroy the same stone-structure pultruding from the ground which they'd been fighting around this entire time. She helped the sorceress back to her feet as Gwen floated towards them slowly cackling with pink-electricity across her aura, still aiming to kill them for the sake of her master.

"I just need to make physical contact so I can get into her mind and fix whatever they did to her," M'gaan explained as they both glanced up at yet another massive shockwave erupting from the sky, clearly from the battle currently waging above them. "Ben, I really hope you know what you're doing."
