Summary: At seventeen years of age, Atreus and his father found themselves in another realm, one that was unfortunately filled with the less crazy, but irritating versions of the gods they had slain. Can they live their life in peace? Or the supernatural world of DxD will be forced to know the full might of THE God of War? Atreus will try to make sure that won't happen… anytime soon at least.

The story will focus on Atreus, with Kratos being a side-character most of the time.

Friendly reminder for those who might have forgotten: For the time being, Kratos and Mimir are known only as Kevin and Mike by other people.

Pairings: Atreus x Harem

Kratos x Yasaka (final)

Son of War

Chapter 26

"Are… are you sure about this, senpai?"

Issei asked nervously, feeling a bead of sweat rolling down the side of his face as he stood on the left of a training dummy while Atreus stood on its right, both of them facing Asia who was standing about six yards away from them and holding in her hands a bow and an arrow, looking to be just as nervous as the perverted boy she had fallen for as she prepared to shoot.

"Stay calm, Ise. She will miss the target if you make her feel like she is gonna hit us." Atreus spoke in a low tone so only Issei could hear him before raising his voice to speak to Asia as he turned his attention back to her, giving the former nun an assuring nod of his head. "Alright, Asia! You can go for it now! Remember, deep breath! We trust you!"

"Y-Yes. I will do my best." The blonde responded to him in a slightly shaky voice, taking slow and deep breaths to calm her nerves. Nocking the arrow on her bow, following the steps that Atreus had taught her, Asia then pulled back the bowstring and took aim, making Issei nervously take a step away from her target.

In a smooth, fluid motion, Asia exhaled and released her grip on the string, allowing the arrow to spring forth from the bow, slicing through the air with a hiss. Instinctively, Issei ducked his head down and shut his eyes tight, waiting for the pain to come until he heard the sound of the arrow impaling into a wooden surface with a satisfying thud.

"Hey, not bad. Good job, Asia." Atreus praised as his gaze fixed upon impaling into the left shoulder of the dummy, leaving Issei to rush over to Asia and congratulate her for finally hitting the target.

Ever since she had successfully manifested the aura of her Sacred Gear into a bow and arrows with healing power, they had started training Asia in archery so she could heal her friends and allies from a distance, enhancing her support capabilities. It did not matter if the girl had failed to hit the bullseyes or any of the vital points, as her arrows could heal injuries anywhere on the body regardless of the spots that they hit.

Moreover, her arrows dispersed without doing any healing when it hit someone Asia considered her enemy was also a major advantage to her and the rest of the peerage. So as long as her kindness did not get in the way, Asia just needed to focus on hitting her wounded allies and not missing. Given that he had only recently started training her, Atreus found himself quite satisfied with her progress. Though, he knew for sure that his father would not feel the same with them both until Asia could heal Kiba while the knight was fighting and moving at extremely high speed.

Speaking of Kratos, the man was currently training Gasper and Koneko on one side of the training room, tossing tennis balls at the two first years to train not just Gasper in eye coordination for Gasper, but also his teamwork, reflex and reaction with Koneko. While simultaneously dodging as many balls as they could, Gasper needed to use his powers to freeze the balls that were impossible for them both to dodge and Koneko had to protect him from the ones that he could not freeze.

His father was obviously not making it easy for either of them, and while Koneko did not have that much problem taking a direct hit, Gasper was unsurprisingly on the verge of tears.

Nearby, Xenovia and Kiba were engaging one another in another spar, honing their swordsmanship together using a pair of wooden blades. There was nothing to complain about when it came to Kiba Yuuto, whose strong foundation as a talented swordsman, tenacity, determination and his strong respect for Kratos allowed him to absorb every lesson, every training that the man threw at him like a sponge.

On the other hand, Xenovia still believed that brute force was the answer to every problem, and it showed clearly in the way she wielded Durandal, in contrast to Kiba, who wielded his swords with grace and speed. At the very least the girl no longer recklessly rushed head first into a fight without making careful consideration first, and had started using her head more, especially in the heat of battle.

Having already finished their own training an hour ago, Rias and Akeno were currently sitting together on the other side of the training room and using a laptop to watch the recordings of the latest professional rating game matches with Mimir, who was sharing them his insights as they discussed the strategies that had been used during the matches. This seemed to be a hobby of his girlfriend, and since it helped her train her mind and become a better strategic, his father had given her the permission to do it during breaktime with Akeno as long as they had finished their training.

"So, what are we going to do next, Atreus-senpai?" Asia asked, making Atreus turn his attention back to her and Issei as the two approached him.

"For the time being, just keep practicing with this dummy." Atreus said, patting the dummy on the shoulder "Once you start landing some bullseyes, we will move on to the more advanced training. Father and I are working on a training course for you in the backyard. You will be hitting moving targets, while constantly on the move yourself. Enemies are not going to let you just stand in one place and shoot your allies to heal them, you know."

"I understand." Asia nodded her head to him, and although the girl looked just as nervous as she had always been, Atreus could see that the girl truly wanted to become better, just like the other members of the peerage.

Ever since their victory over Raiser and his peerage, not just her but the entire peerage was more determined to train than ever. Before the match, Atreus could see that except for Kiba, every member had their doubts about the hellish training regime that Kratos had created for them, as not even Rias and Akeno was able to determine how much stronger they had become with how badly they kept getting beaten in the challenges against him and his father.

However, after beating Raiser and his peerage, who had essentially won every game they had been in and were acknowledged to even be in position to take the top ranking in the official rating game tournament, in such a convincing manner, it had been confirmed to them that they had gotten stronger, and the group had begun to start training harder than ever before, with their trust now fully placed in Kratos. Obviously, some had also gotten overconfident in their abilities, but the man instantly humbled them, keeping them on track and making sure that they knew they still had a long way to go and a lot to learn.

In that regard, his father obviously had a lot of experience.

"By the way, can you summon Rassei? We also need to work on his…"

"Rias-sama, everyone." Before Atreus could finish asking Asia to summon her familiar, which made Issei shudder nervously because the little sprite dragon hated him and always attacked him whenever he was close, Aphrodite opened the door and peeked her head in to inform them. "Your family is here to see you."

"Otou-sama, Okaa… Sairaorg!?"

Handing her laptop over to Akeno to get up, Rias greeted her family as they walked into the training room, but stopped and uttered out the name of her cousin in surprise when she saw him walking into the room with them while giving her a friendly smile and a wave of his hand.

However, Sairaorg himself also did not come alone, as following behind him was not just his queen Kuisha, but his entire peerage, the sight of whom surprised even her servants, especially those who had met them before.

"Atreus. Sir."

Sairaorg greeted Atreus and then Kratos, bowing his head respectfully to the man, who in response gave the young man a nod of acknowledgement before turning his attention over to the Gremory, giving them a look that clearly said he was expecting an answer.

Notably, a couple members of the Bael peerage were sneaking curious glances at Mimir, who was being held by Akeno, but none of them looked surprised. Atreus figured that they must have been told about him beforehand by the Gremory.

"Well, I believe it would be better if we let Sairaorg speak to you himself." Zeoticus smiled as he stepped forward and shook hands with Kratos before Sirzechs did the same.

"I heard our daughter had also recently moved into your home, Kevin-san." Venelana said as she lowered her head a little to Kratos, as did Grayfia who was standing next to her. "I really hope that she has not been causing you any trouble."

"Kaa-sama." Rias called out, blushing slightly in embarrassment. Venelana only glanced over to her daughter in response, giving Rias a rather well hidden disapproving look while the men in her family just laughed softly in amusement.

"Worry not. Your daughter has been behaving herself well." Kratos answered before taking his hand back from Sirzechs and turning his attention over to Sairaorg and his peerage, looking at them expectedly and making the entire room become silent.

"The last time we met, I did not have the chance to properly introduce myself to you, sir." Sairaorg began, and Kratos gave the young man a nod of acknowledgement, allowing him to introduce himself and his peerage with a hand gesturing over to them. "My name is Sairaorg Bae and these devils here are my servants. We are here today to ask if we can join Rias and her peerage in training… under you, sir."

The revelation caused Rias and her peerage to widen their eyes and gasp in shock, with no one more so than the crimson haired heiress herself. Even Atreus also could not stop himself from looking at Sairaorg and his peerage with surprise and curiosity, but his father remained as impassive he had always been, looking almost as if he had seen this coming.

"Why?" Finally, the ashen skinned man asked, with the whole room becoming dead silent as they waited for him to continue. "Why should I train you and your peerage, boy? Are you not already the strongest? What do you think an outsider like me, who knows nothing of your ways, can teach you?"

"Everything, sir. I am young, and I still have much to learn. I am only the strongest of this generation. It is only the result of my training to overcome the hardship of being born without the signature power of the Bael devil household. There are taller mountains out there I wish to climb, and even so, my goal is so much more than that." Sairaorg shook his head and stated firmly, glancing briefly over to Sirzechs before continuing with the same tone "My dream is to become a Maou."

Rias and her peerage let out a breath of wonder at his goal, but the adult Gremory did not look surprised in the slightest.

"And for that to happen, not only do I need to become a stronger devil, but also a better one as well." Sairaorg said "You, sir, who has trained my cousin and her young and inexperienced peerage to the point they completely overwhelmed the genius Raiser Phenex and his peerage, who was set to overtake the top rank of the pro league, is someone I believe can help me accomplish that."

"His dream is also our dream, sir." Kuisha stepped forward and spoke to Kratos, making the man glance over to her and the rest of the peerage, who shared a similar look to the determination that she showed on her face "It is the reason why we are all here today, to ask if you can train us the same way you have trained Rias-sama's peerage. We want to become even stronger and better than we are now in order to help our master realize his dream… for everything that he has done for us."

For a moment, Kratos said nothing as he stood there, an imposing, towering figure overlooking Sairaorg Bael and his peerage, gazing at them, studying them with a face that not even Sirzechs could read. For a moment, no one dared to say a single word, with the Bael peerage standing there passively and holding their breaths, waiting for the ashen skinned man before them to give them his answer to their request.

And then, the Draupnir spear appeared in his hand, causing those who had never seen it before to widen their eyes in surprise.

"We start at four in the afternoon, and at eight on the weekends." Kratos stated strongly, and Sairaorg let out a sigh of relief that he did not know he was holding, while his peerage brightened up. Some even cheered "You will train with Rias and her group, following the same training regime as they do. If you have any question about my way of teaching, you can ask them to fill you in, understood?"

"Yes, sir!" Sairaorg and his peerage answered at the same time, making Kratos give them a nod of acknowledgement.

"Now, you will show me where I need to start with you." Kratos then said, making Sairaorg and his peerage straighten themselves up and ready themselves to fight the man. To their surprise, however, he then turned to Atreus and tossed his spear over to his son, who caught it in both hands while looking at his father in wonder before realizing it. "Try to take the spear from my son."

"All of us?" Another blonde in the Bael peerage asked unsurely while the rest could not stop themselves from looking at one another.

"You guys are welcome to try, I guess." Atreus chuckled and looked at Asia with his hand extending toward her to take back his bow before walking toward the center of the training room.

"With all due respect, sir, I would like to spar with…"

"You will join your peerage, boy." Kratos interrupted Sairaorg, his tone brooking no further argument. Although he looked like he wanted to argue, Sairaorg bit his tongue and lowered his head to the man as he walked with the adult Gremory to the side of the training room with their daughter and her peerage. Atreus gave Rias one last look before she walked away, seeing her giving him a forced smile and a shrug of the shoulders.

His girlfriend had told him that Sairaorg at heart was a battle maniac, who loved to fight strong people, so he was not surprised that the Bael heir wanted to spar with his father.

"The rule is simple." Atreus began as he looked at Sairaorg and his peerage, his hand stabbing the Draupnir spear down hard enough to break through the floor deep enough to leave it io stand on its own without any other supper "I will protect the spear, and you guys will try to take the spear from me by any means necessary. Try not to hold back. My father is watching to see where he will need to start with you guys."

With that said, his quiver appeared on his back, allowing Atreus to bring out a silver arrow and nock it into his bow. Sairaorg furrowed his brow as he studied Atreus with his servants. He had no doubt that the young man was incredibly strong, but he did not give off the aura of power like his father did. In comparison, the man was someone who gave Sairaorg the feeling he could crush them easily with just brute force alone, while his son was a fighter who had various tricks up his sleeves that he could pull out at any given moment.

They needed to approach this fight carefully.

"I can give you a minute to plan out a strategy, if you…"

"Belgua!"

But Atreus never got the chance to finish his suggestion, as one of the knights, a young man whose name was Belgua Furcas, mounted on a pale, armored horse and charged at him with incredibly high speed on Sairaorg's command, seemingly disappearing from sight while wielding two lances in his hand.

Before he could even reach the spear, Atreus had already reacted, leaping over the tips of his lances with the same if not even greater speed than Belgua and the horse was moving to kick him right in the face, knocking him off his horse and sending him crashing into the floor hard. Several members of the peerage immediately rushed over to Belgua and help him up, with one of the Bishops using a spell to heal his bleeding nose, but they all found themselves widening their eyes in surprise when they saw and heard Atreus talking to the horse in a language that none of them could understand.

"Your horse doesn't like you much, does he?" Atreus asked.

"You can… talk to horses?" Belgua asked in surprise.

"I can talk to all kinds of animals, and your horse said he wanted to kill you." Atreus answered with a shrug, patting the horse on his neck. As he said that, Atreus glanced over to his father, and Kratos gave him a nod of acknowledgement in response.

"That is Altobrau for you. He hates everyone." Belgua said with a forced smile, causing Altobrau to neigh angrily in response. Chuckling, Atreus then spoke a few simple words to the horse, making him walk back to his master, although reluctantly.

"So I was saying, now that you get an idea what I am capable of, would you like to take a minute to devise a more careful and appropriate plan of attack?" Atreus asked, making Sairaorg look at his servants before nodding his head, taking off his jacket as he discussed a plan with them. After a minute, the group then turned back to him, making Atreus nod his head to them with a smile before getting ready himself.

"Liban, Misteeta!"

With that said, Sairaorg charged at Atreus at blinding speed, who felt a tremendous pressure pressing down his body as intricate purple markings crawled their ways up his limbs. In an instant, Sairaorg appeared in front of him with his fist reeling back and a light aura surrounding his body. The very atmosphere seemed to distort around as he threw his punch toward Atreus.

Only for the young man to swiftly dodge to the side, avoiding his fist at the last possible moment and shooting his leg up to kick Sairaorg square in the gut.

For the first time in a very long time, Sairaorg Bael found himself reeling and gasping silently as he felt Atreus' foot sinking into his gut in slow time, generating a violent shockwave that shook the entire building upon impact. Enduring the pain, the young Bael heir shot his other fist up in a left hook, but Atreus swiftly blocked it with his runic shield, which unexpectedly broke but knocked Sairaorg back when his knuckle collided with its surface. Refusing to let up, the Bael heir shot his right foot back and stomped the floor hard to propel himself forward, causing the spot to explode violently as he came at Atreus with a series of lightning fast punches and kicks, leaving Rias and her peerage to watch and gasp in astonishment.

But none of his attacks was able to find their target, as Atreus swiftly dodged left and right and leaned back to avoid every single punch and kick being thrown at him. Sairaorg did not look frustrated, however, and instead looked like he was enjoying himself, the grin on his face that he had had from the moment Atreus dodged his first punch and kicked him back seemingly getting larger and larger with every attack the young man was able to avoid.

Along with his excitement, his speed and strength increased, with each punch and kick now generating shockwaves that the devils standing on the sideline could feel clearly. Atreus looked unfazed, however, and such a thing only got Sairaorg even more worked up than before.

Reeling his left fist back, Sairaorg threw everything he had at Atreus, aiming at his face, having come to realize that anything less would not be able to even reach him with how he was having no trouble keeping up with his speed. To his surprise, Atreus grabbed his wrist and twirled around, wrapping his legs around his neck and throwing him down in a flip, at the same time twisting his body around to fire an arrow at Belgua, who was trying to sneak up and grab the spear. The arrow exploded upon impact, knocking the knight off his horse again and away from the spear.

"Sairaorg-sama!" Corianna shouted as she summoned numerous ice spears from magic circles that manifested around her and threw them at Atreus, who removed himself from Sairaorg and shot off to dodge them. Kuisha also joined the Bishop in the assault, casting numerous spells that fired magical projectiles at Atreus, but he was able to dodge them all while avoiding Sairaorg, who chased after him with incredible speed of his own, and keeping the others from reaching the spear with his bow and arrows.

"I don't get it… why are our powers not working?" Misteeta asked as she tried to keep her Sacred gear aimed at Atreus, finding it more and more difficult to stay on him with the speed that he was moving. Next to her, Liban was also using his power, Gravity Jail, to increase the gravity around Atreus to restrain his movement, but neither of their powers appeared to work the way they had wanted them to.

"Oh, they were… I was just resisting them." Misteeta widened her eyes in surprise when she heard that voice coming from behind her, realizing that it was Atreus. Before she could react, an arrow covered in lightning embedded into her sacred gear, electrocuting the whole thing and her along with it, forcing Misteeta to drop her weapon as Atreus kicked her in the back. Gandoma, with his rocklike physique, rushed in before and caught her in his arm to use his own body to shield her from the kick, ending up getting sent flying and crashing into the far wall of the room.

Before Liban could turn his gaze to him while wielding a blade in his hand, Atreus had shot up and grabbed his face, throwing him down with the back of his head getting smashed into the ground with enough force to knock an adult man out. Sairaorg did not waste a second to throw himself at Atreus, who smirked and swiftly shifted into his wolf form to dodge his punch, causing Sairaorg and those who did not know about his shapeshifting ability to widen his eyes in disbelief.

Shifting back as he jumped to the side, Atreus instantly fired an arrow at Sairaorg, who tried to catch it before it could hit his shoulder. He failed, but not because he was not fast enough, far from it even, but because the arrow exploded and transformed into a massive, spectral elk that rammed its antlers into his gut, forcing the young Bael heir to grab it and try to push back at the elk as it did it to him, crashing into Kuisha who was trying to grab the spear with Coriana, who was held down by vines that sprouted from the ground and wrapped around her body...

… in a rather kinky manner.

"Whoo! Way to go, senpai!" Issei cheered in excitement as he watched Coriana struggle to break free from the magical vines.

"Shut up, Issei." Atreus snapped at the oppai loving pervert as he was elbowed hard in the gut by Koneko, and widened his eyes when he saw a large shadow looming over him.

Turning around, Atreus found himself looking up at a dragon, an actual western dragon with dark brown scales breathing fire down at him. Not wasting even a second to figure out which one of Sairaorg' servants had turned into that dragon, Atreus rolled to the side to dodge the fire before it could swallow him whole and fired an arrow imbued in pure light at his head while skidding on his back, generating an explosion that was large enough to cause him to roar in pain.

Sairaorg, who had dispatched the spectral elk with a powerful throw, ran at the spear as fast as he could, but Atreus instantly caught up to him and used his bow to trip him over. Despite losing his footing and finding himself falling face first toward the ground, Sairaorg immediately caught himself by placing his hand down and flipped around, landing on his feet to continue running toward the spear with his hand reaching out for it.

For a split second, even the Gremory peerage thought the Bael heir had done something that they could not, as his fingertips grazed the surface of the Draupnir spear. Before he could fully close his fingers around it, however, he was slammed into the ground by Atreus, who came crashing down directly on top of him in the form of a massive bear. The impact caused the whole area to blow up, knocking the spear away from Sairaorg before he could even try to grab it again.

Shifting back, Atreus jumped off Sairaorg as he flipped around and tried to kick him with his left foot, his head leaning back to cause the kick to miss him only by an inch. Getting up, Sairaorg once again came at Atreus at full force, with his servants backing him up from every direction, and a couple of them trying to reach for the spear again. Atreus, however, was fully prepared for them, nocking not one, but three arrows into his bowstring…

"STOP!"

Before any of them could make an attack, Kratos bellowed, causing them all to come to a sudden stop and turn their heads to look at him.

"I have seen enough." He said, leaving the sideline of the training room to walk toward Atreus and Sairaorg, allowing his son to lower his bow down. Once he was in front of Sairaorg, Kratos stopped and asked him. "Why did he not join you and the others in the attack, boy?"

He asked, with a gesture of his head to the one who stood the furthest back of the group. He had the appearance of a young boy with spiky dark orange hair, slightly tanned skinned and facial features hidden behind a mask.

"Because I…"

"When you do something here, you all do it together. No excuse, got it?" Kratos snapped in a firm tone, causing Sairaorg to instantly clench his jaw to shut himself up and lower his head to the ashen skinned man.

"Yes, sir! My apology. It will not happen again after today." Sairaorg answered strongly as his servants gathered around him and did the same, with the dragon reverting back to his normal form, having the appearance of a tall, lanky, and somewhat gaunt man with dark green hair and red eyes.

"Now, tell me why you did not have him join your attack?"

"Because I wish for him to save his strength so that I can spar against you with him, sir!" Sairaorg answered, causing Kratos to look sternly at him in response. "His name is Regulus and he is the Longinus sacred gear, Regulus Nemea."

This time, however, everyone but Sirzechs and Grayfia was stunned by the revelation. Even Kratos had a look of visible mild surprise on his face as he gazed at the young boy, who took off his mask and revealed a pair of cat, or lionlike, golden eyes to them. Atreus knew why his father was having that look. He recognized the name of the lion to be none other than the one that was slain by Hercules himself.

It was Aphrodite who told him that the spirit of the Nemean lion was sealed into the Sacred Gear Regulus Nemea while he was doing his research on the creations of the God of the Bible, and Atreus had told it back to his father in turn, knowing the man was fairly interested in anything that was related to Greek mythology.

"Please, allow us to fight you, sir. I wish to test my strength against you." Sairaorg pressed on with hope in his eyes, making Kratos look at him before exhaling.

"Very well. But do not expect me to play around like my son did." And with that said, Kratos walked to the side of the room, leaving Sairaorg and his servants to widen their eyes in surprise and snap their heads over to look at Atreus, who raised his hands in defense.

"The goal is to let my father see your strengths and weaknesses. Can't do that if I don't give you guys a chance to show off now, do I?" Atreus told them with a shrug, before walking away to stand with Rias and the others. Nodding his head to his servants, they all walked away to stand next to the Gremory peerage, with the exception of Regulus, who remained at his side. "So I take that you guys also have no idea he has a living, sentient Sacred Gear for a servant."

"Let us give it our all, Regulus!" Sairaorg shouted, and Regulus hunched his body to start transforming, his body enlarging and morphing to become a full, four meter tall, majestic looking golden lion with glowing yellow fur and a jewel on his forehead. "My lion! King of Nemea! You, who has been called King of Lions! Answer my howl and turn into my armor!"

With that chant from his master, Regulus Nemea then let out an earthshaking roar before he turned into a beaming of golden energy that flew at Sairaorg and struck him, becoming a set of armor that left only his face exposed, and had the head of Regulus on his chest. Powers were unleashed from Sairaorg in an explosion of golden energy, to the point that it created an overwhelming pressure that caused the entire building, which had been heavily reinforced for the purpose of devastating magical training, to shake violently, with cracks appearing on the walls and debris starting to fall from the ceiling.

"Regulus Rey Leather Rex!" Sairaorg shouted as he held up his fist and looked at Kratos, who had the ever unchanging stern look on his face "Kevin-sama, this is me at my strongest. This is a power that I would have used only when the Underworld is in danger, but just this time, I will make an exception, so that you can properly judge my strength."

"Then come, boy." Kratos said as he took a fighting stance with his fists holding up "Give me your best."

"Yes!" And with that, the floor exploded around Sairaorg, as he threw himself forward faster than anything the Gremory had ever seen in their life. Even Atreus looked surprised by his speed, his eyes following his movement as he reached Kratos in less than a millisecond. With everything he had, he threw a left hook at Kratos.

Only for the man to block with his arm. Left, then right, before he threw his own punch at Sairaorg, hitting him square in the jaw.

The result was devastating as Kratos knocked Sairaorg down with the side of his helmet being shattered completely. The floor exploded around the two at the force of Kratos' punch, but the next instant, Sairaorg shot up before he hit the ground and came at the ashen skinned man with another punch, but he blocked it just like the last time and threw an even stronger punch at the other side of his face, generating a shockwave so violent the entire building could no longer hold it and collapse around them. Grayfia, who had foreseen this, stepped up and created a magical barrier around everyone to shield them from the falling chunks of tile and concrete.

When it was finally over and they could all see clearly again, Kratos was the only one standing on the destroyed training room, looking at Sairaorg as he lied on the ground with Regulus next to him, the side of his face bleeding in similarity to the damage he had suffered in his Regulus Rey Leather Rex form. As the Gremory devil household was left looking at Kratos in astonishment, the Bael wasted no time to rush over to their master and comrade to check on them, feeling relief that they were only unconscious.

"What do you think, Atreus?" Kratos asked, feeling his son approaching him without needing to look.

"I like them, father. Having Sairaorg and his peerage here training alongside Rias and her peerage will motivate both to work hard to become even stronger." Kratos nodded his head before Atreus decided to ask him while looking around at the destroyed building "Did you really have to hit him this hard though, father?"

"He passed out on my first punch." Kratos said, making Atreus look at him with his eyes widening in surprise "Yet he remained standing and came at me with a second attack. Even if that was just a spar, he truly gave everything and remained on his feet to keep on doing so. His will is formidable."

"I see." Atreus nodded his head in understanding, looking back at Sairaorg as he sat up with the help of his servants. "So, about that training school idea, you think you can…"

"One thing at a time, Atreus." Kratos said softly as he reached his hand out and put it on his shoulder, making Atreus smile while looking up at him.

Indeed, they would need a new place to train Rias and Sairaorg and their peerages.

This time, though, his father would definitely not allow Zeoticus and the Gremory to provide them with one… if they did not demand compensation for the destroyed building first.

It was the day of the press conference.

"Nervous?" Atreus asked as he sat down next to Rias and smiled at her, grabbing her hand and giving it a comforting squeeze. It was not just her, but the others were also appearing to feel the same as they hung around their clubroom, making some last minute preparations before they headed off to attend the most important meeting in the history of the Three Factions.

"Just a you, Atreus" Rias said gratefully to her boyfriend, before looking at the clock on the wall. Seeing that it was almost time, she stood up and looked at her servants, who knew what had begun "Alright, everyone. It's time. Let's go."

With that said, Rias and her peerage headed out of the clubroom and made their way toward the new school building, where the meeting between the leaders of the Three Factions would be taking place in the Student Council office. Even though it was only eight in the morning, the sky was dark, and from his understanding, it was because there were some devils who were incredibly sensitive to sunlight, and many of them were among the forces that they had brought. As expected, every side had brought a small army of their own to the conference, making the atmosphere so tense that you could even cut it with a knife.

"If by chance something happens at the conference, and the negotiation goes wrong, this place could become a battleground!"

"Are you jinxing us, Yuuto?" Atreus asked the blond, who was eyeing the armies in the sky, making him chuckle before they continued to follow Rias into the new school building. The damage had been done, however, as Asia and Gasper got even more nervous than before. Though, the Dhampir boy, who was wearing a paper bag to cover his face, appeared to be still keeping his power in check.

Once they arrived at their destination, Rias knocked her hands on the door before entering with her servants when the entrance was granted to them by Grayfia, who opened the door from the inside. In the middle of the room was a round table, and sat on the chairs surrounding it were the leaders of each faction, with Yasaka sitting next to Serafall Leviathan, who represented the devil faction with Sirzechs. Upon seeing him walking in, the fox woman smiled and lowered her head in greeting to him, and the young god could not help but smile and wave a hand at her in response.

Sona and her servants had arrived before them and all of them had taken their seats. The atmosphere in the room was tense and extremely serious, with the only person who did not look at all serious was none other than Azazel himself, who had a silver haired young man sitting on the chair a bit toward the back, arms crossing on his chest with a passive look on his face. He was Vali, the current wielder of the Sacred Gear, Dividing Divine, making him the arch nemesis of the red dragon emperor. Atreus had not met him before, but Issei had a couple of days ago when he showed up at Kuoh academy to meet his rival for the first time.

The last group that were sitting with them at the table wore dazzling, bedecking robes of pure white and brilliant gold, being a man and a breathtakingly beautiful woman both with long golden hair traveling like a waterfall down their head. While the man's hair was straight, the woman's curled like gentle waves, both were blue-eyed and held a similar appearance. They were without a doubt Michael and Gabriel, the archangel leaders of Heaven.

Irina Shidou was standing behind the two in her exorcist robe, and upon seeing Asia and Xenovia, who had a concerned look on her face when she saw her former friend and partner, the girl tried to avoid their gaze and looked away. Although, it did not appear to Atreus that it was because she hated them for being a devil and did not want to look at them, but because of guilt.

"Sup, wolf boy!"

Widening his eyes in surprise when he heard that nickname of his being said, Atreus spun around and found himself looking at Zagreus, the son of Hades, who was standing with none other than Nyx, the primordial goddess of the night and his mother according to Aphrodite.

"You? What are you…"

"We are invited." Nyx answered with a smile, stepping forward to look at Atreus as Rias and her peerage lowered their head respectfully to the primordial goddess. "The House of Hades was involved in the recent event that took place here in this academy, so we were invited to partake in this conference as honorable guests."

"Actually, it was my father who was invited, but he could care less about anything other than his paperwork so he sent me and Nyx instead, so long as I do not try to leave this place and run off to Olympus, not that I am complaining by the way." Zagreus explained with a humorous chuckle, before extending his hand forward and offering it to Zagreus "Thank you for saving my dog last time, wolf boy. I owe you for that."

"We will be even if you start calling me by my name, dead guy."

"What a dumb nickname. Thought you were pretty smart, so can you come up with something better, wolf boy?" Zagreus asked with a smirk as Atreus grabbed his hand and shook it, but neither looked like they wanted to let go as they began to tighten up their grips on the other. If there were a rock between their palms, it would have been crushed into dust with how hard their grips were.

"By the way, your father is not here."

"He did not want to get involved."

"Ah, so you do it because of your girlfriend, right?"

"Boys, that is enough." Nyx interrupted their conversation in a silky smooth, but stern voice, causing both Atreus and Zagreus to look at her and then at each other before finally taking their hands back. It was then that Atreus noticed everyone else in the room was looking at the two of them, some in amusement, others in caution and a few in interest.

"Well then, now that Rias and her servants are finally here. I believe it is time for us to begin."

Sirzechs suggested with a smile, nodding his head to Rias and her servants, who wasted no time to make their ways to their seats next to Sona and her peerage and sit there. Nyx and Zagreus also walked over to theirs and sat down, with the primordial goddess of the night taking the other seat for honorable guests beside Yasaka.

"Everyone, these are my little sister, her family and young Atreus." Sirzechs introduced "He and his father are the ones who defeated Kokabiel and his followers in the battle of Kuoh a few weeks ago. It is unfortunate that Kevin-san has declined the offer to attend this meeting as an honorable guest, but his son Atreus is here to represent them both."

"Yes, I read the report of the fight. I thank you for taking care of that incident." Michael said with a warm smile to Atreus.

"Well, Kokabiel is on my side, so I think I owe you kids an apology." Azazel said with a nod of acknowledgement toward Rias and her servants before looking at Zagreus and Nyx "I have to admit that the guy met a rather nasty end, but it was the least he deserved for trying to start another great war, and kidnap the Cerberus from the House of Hades."

"Now that everyone has arrived, I will say the preconditions for this conference. Everyone here knows about the most forbidden subject, the absence of God of the Bible." Sirzechs announced to the other leaders. "With that in mind, this meeting shall begin!"

And with that announcement, the conference of the Three Factions began.

"Sire, the troop is ready. They will depart at your command." Spoke a heavily armored warrior, as he walked into a room where a towering and muscular man sat in the very center, polishing a golden blade. Even though the whole room was dark, his fiercely glowing skin illuminated the whole room with a blinding light, like that of a miniature sun.

"Good. I will be there in a moment." The man answered with a strong, confident voice. "What about the forces from Khaos Brigade?"

"They have arrived, sire." The armored warrior answered.

"They will serve well as sacrificial lambs, meats to burn to draw the true animal out just like those little children of the Three Factions, and his son." The man snickered "What was his name again? Kratos?"

"Yes. But he was not the God of strength that we knew. That woman said he was the God of war, and he was not someone we could underestimate."

"Does not make any difference to me. After all…"

The man said as he got up, his golden blade catching fire as he picked up a golden helmet and put it on his head, causing his whole body to flare up in flame while his body radiated a power that shook the entire region as if it was being hit by an earthquake.

"What's a God to a Titan?"
