"What?" Everyone turned to Rogue as she had that outburst. Tears were pouring down her face as she gave Danny a look of betrayal.

"Rogue, I..." Danny went intangible to avoid the slap that Rogue tried to give him.

"You bastard!" She yelled with all her might. "After everything we've been through, you're gonna toss me aside for this slut."

Danny grasped his head as he wondered why he agreed to Aricia's marriage proposal. He loved Rogue. He did. So why did he say yes so eagerly?

"Maybe you're just tired of her." A voice said. "Sometimes love can fade away. One day you wake up and you realize that you don't love the person sleeping next to you."

"But I loved her, I really did." Danny argued internally.

"Then why did you say yes to Aricia?" The voice questioned. "You love her. You wouldn't say yes if you didn't."

Danny started to grasp his head in pain while the X-Men were trying to hold Rogue back; even some of the robotic guards pitched in. Eventually, Rogue collapsed as she broke down crying.

"I'll take care of her." Storm helped carry her out of the room as all the X-Men glared at Danny.

"Danny, how could you do that?" Jubilee couldn't believe her brother would do something so cold-hearted. She thought that he loved Rogue.

"I don't know." Danny then hissed in pain as a headache came to him.

Beast narrowed his eyes as he looked at Danny's neck. He saw a mark there. It looked like he had been injected with something.

Wolverine sniffed Danny, thinking he was some duplicate as he was acting out of character. Unfortunately, it was the real deal, but the scent was somehow different, which made him suspicious.

"He smells weird." Wolverine whispered to Beast. "It's still him, but something's not right about him."

"I agree. I saw a mark on his neck. Someone had injected him with something." Beast told him.

"So, he's been drugged." Wolverine assumed.

"I'll need a blood sample to make sure." Beast said.

"Coming right up." Wolverine went up to Danny and merely stabbed him in the side. It was easier since Danny was in human form. Wolverine now had Danny's blood on his claws.

"Wolverine!" Cyclops pulled him away from Danny. "What the hell are you doing?"

"Guards!" Aricia called as she tended to Danny.

"No, don't!" Danny cried. "I deserved it. I should've broken the news to Rogue in a better way."

"Maybe not at all, bub." Wolverine said as he pushed Cyclops out of the room.

"Come on, Jubilee." Beast ushered her out as all the X-Men met in the corridor.

Storm was confronting Rogue. "There, there, Rogue. It will be all right."

"No, Storm." Rogue sobbed. "It won't. I loved him. I truly loved him. More than Cody. He was my soulmate. It was like true love. I thought it would never break."

"But it could be drugged." Wolverine interrupted as the others joined the two.

"Logan, what are you talking about?" Storm asked.

"Wolverine smelled something off about Danny, and I saw a mark on his neck that looked like he had been injected with something." Beast explained.

"Wait, you mean he was drugged?" Jubilee exclaimed.

"I don't know, but I need a blood sample to confirm." Beast replied.

"That's why I stabbed him." Wolverine said.

"You stabbed him!" Rogue looked at him with anger, still having feelings for Danny despite being dumped.

"Although I don't approve of the methods, I am thankful Wolverine has provided us with the answer to this dilemma." Beast said as he took a sample of Danny's blood off Wolverine's claw and placed it in his small computer to analyze it.

The X-Men waited with baited breath for the results to come in. After an eternity, Beast was given the results.

"He has been drugged with what appears to be a strong Aphrodisiac." Beast said.

The X-Men all cheered as they realized their friend wasn't some heartless asshole but was just drugged.

"You mean he still loves me?" Rogue asked as hope returned to her.

Beast grinned, happy to give her good news. "Yes, Rogue. What Danny said came from the drug, not from his heart."

Rogue hugged Beast. "Thank you, Beast. I never thought I would be so happy to hear that my boyfriend's been drugged." Her joy turned to anger as she realized that someone had drugged her boyfriend and turned him against her.

"That bitch!" Rogue shouted. "She stole my man!" Rogue went to go and teach her a lesson when the X-Men all held her back.

"No!" They all cried.

Rogue looked at them in disbelief. "What do you mean no?"

"Rogue, Aricia is the leader of these people, with several guards at her disposal." Beast told her.

"She's also got Casper wrapped around her fingers." Wolverine added. "You want to get to her, you're gonna have to go through him."

"Then what are we supposed to do?" Rogue demanded. "He's being held against his will; we have to help him."

"We will, Rogue." Cyclops assured her. "But we can't go with a headstrong approach. The first thing we've got to do is break that drug's hold over Danny. Any ideas, Beast?"

"I sadly do not know, as I am unfamiliar with this chemical." Beast responded.

"We'll have to play along." Cyclops said. "Act like we're all okay with this, so no one suspects us. We're going to have to apologize to Danny and tell him how happy we are for him."

"Are you serious?" Rogue screeched, incensed with the idea that she had to pretend to be happy that her man was being married to another woman.

"Do you want him back, Rogue?" Cyclops retorted.

"How is that even a question? Of course I do." Rogue replied.

"Then play along, and we'll get him back." Cyclops said as he led the X-Men back into the room.

Cyclops greeted Danny. "Look, Danny, we want to apologize for what happened, Danny. It was just a big shock, and we all agreed that we're happy for you."

"Really?" Danny smiled hopefully as a servant was wrapping bandages over his stab wound. "Even you, Rogue?"

Rogue gave a forced smile as she hugged him. "Of course, sugar. I just want you to be happy."

'And I know you'll be happy as soon as that witch's spell over you has been broken.' Rogue thought before she squeezed his ass, making him yelp.

"Sorry, Danny." Rogue apologized. "Just wanted to have one last squeeze."

"Well, I'm glad that you're all not mad at me anymore." Danny said with relief. "Because you all mean a lot to me." He then turned to Jubilee. "Jubilee, you're my sister, and I care so much about you."

He went on to praise each of his friends.

"Cyclops, you've been the older brother I always wanted." He said. "Wolverine, I'll get back to you." He joked, making Wolverine growl. "Beast, your calm mind and big heart have always inspired me. Storm, you've been a constant figure of support for me. And Rogue, I may not love you anymore, but I truly deeply care about you and want you to be happy."

Rogue had tears in her eyes as she hugged him again. "I was happy when I was with you." She whispered.

Danny had a hesitant look on his face before a headache brought him out of it. "I want all of you to be at our wedding."

"Danny, one of them just stabbed you." Aricia protested.

Danny waved it off. "Show me one person Wolverine hasn't stabbed."

All the X-Men raised their hands.

"Okay, fine." Danny said. "But I forgive him, and I want him at my wedding."

"We'll all be there." Jubilee said. "Hey! Get one of those golf balls from Aricia, and we'll get the rest of the X-Men here, along with Steve and Martha. And Vlad too."

Danny chuckled. "Thank you all so much. You will see that this is for the best."

Aricia was watching as her workers were taking down some strange device.

"The hologram projector is ready to be destroyed, your majesty." One of her advisors told her.

"Well, get to it!" She demanded. "We can't let him and the others know that those ghosts were fakes."

"There was also damage caused in the city." The advisor pointed out.

"Just get the workers to repair it." She replied dismissively.

"There have been rebellions lately, your majesty." The advisor revealed. "We desperately need help to rebuild that part of the city, along with keeping the central power grid in check. We desperately need help."

"And we will get that help from our nearest neighbor, Belgania!" Aricia responded.

This made the advisor nervous. "It is our duty to remind you, your majesty, of our peace treaty with Belgania."

"Treaties can be altered." Aricia said with an evil smile. "Our people need workers! Without them, this whole society will collapse on itself. I won't let this kingdom die because of some stupid piece of paper. We attack tonight! Fill the worker ships until they burst. Show no mercy!"

Jubilee was admiring all the treasures in the room. "Wow! This is totally awesome! It's real gold! You're really gonna get used to being a king."

As she was looking at all of her surroundings, she picked up a gold blanket and started running around before crashing into a servant and knocking her over.

"Uh-oh." Jubilee said before she and Danny laughed at their silliness.

"I'm sorry, your majesty." The servant apologized frantically. "Please do not report me! It shall not happen again. Forgive me."

"Hey, accidents happen." Danny reassured her. "Don't need to be so scared."

"I beg you." As she timidly left the room. "Do not report me."

"Danny, that was weird." Jubilee said when they were left alone.

"Yeah, it was." Danny said. "I've gotta make sure she's okay." He walked out of the room, where he found the servant.

"Excuse me?" He asked her.

She jumped in fright at his presence as she went to her knees. "Please don't report me!"

"No, no, no." Danny calmed her down. "I just noticed you seemed starved. How about I show you the kitchens?"

The lady nodded hesitantly. "That would be nice, your majesty. Just don't tell the empress."

"Come on." Danny took her hand and lifted her up. "This will be our little secret."

"A most magnificent homage, is it not?" Beast asked the others as they were watching the construction of statues for Aricia and Danny.

"Yeah, seeing a statue of my boyfriend next to some hussy is real nice." Rogue said sarcastically. "I just hope we get him back to normal soon. I feel like with her influence, all this king stuff is gonna go to his head."

Jubilee came up to the group. "Hey, guys, something weird happened. I ended up causing one of the servants to spill something, and she was so terrified of Aricia finding out. Danny ended up having to take her to the kitchen to calm her down while promising that he wouldn't tell Aricia about it."

"Guess Aricia isn't as nice as she claims to be." Rogue muttered. "At least Danny actually cares about these people and helps them. After all, that's his obsession, helping people."

She then had a big smile on her face as an idea came to her. "That's it! His obsession. We just have to prove that Aricia isn't as good a person as she claims, and this will force Danny's obsession to fight off the drug."

Beast thought this over. "That could work. But we'll need some strong evidence other than a frightened servant."

"Then I'll find it." Rogue said determinedly before turning to Jubilee. "Jubilee, go back and keep an eye on him; make sure that Aricia doesn't stick her claws even further into him."

"Can do." Jubilee went to check on Danny.

"The rest of us will look around for anything suspicious." Rogue said as she saw a servant working. "Hey, there." She greeted him. "We're friends with your new king. Know where a gal can get something good to eat around here?"

The worker was about to answer when a robot came near him and the bracelet he was wearing glowed, making him cry out in pain.

"I'm sorry, but I must return to my work at once." The worker said in a panicked voice as he ran off.

"He seemed very concerned about that robot guard." Beast observed.

"He wasn't concerned, Hank." Rogue said. "He was shaking in his boots. Looks like Aricia's not popular with the underclass. I wonder why."

"Wolverine, get your nose ready." Cyclops advised. "We might have some local slime to sniff out before we get Danny back."

They saw a transporter carrying robot guards pass them.

"Let's follow the tough boys." Rogue said as the X-Men followed them, as they were being watched by one of the workers.

"Let's not get in too deep." Cyclops cautioned.

Back at the palace, Danny and Jubilee were watching several ships leave the planet at a rapid pace.

"Boy! They're in one heck of a hurry." Jubilee exclaimed. "I wonder where they're going?"

"They are traveling to Belgania, our nearest neighbor in space." Aricia answered. "They will bring back supplies, workers, and the dignitaries for tonight's royal dinner. Most important of all, my love, they will bring back treasures for you."

Danny chuckled. "Aricia, please. You don't have to go through all this trouble for me."

"In pleasing you, there is no trouble, only happiness." Aricia flirted.

"That was an awful lot of ships." Jubilee said suspiciously, thinking that there was something else at play here.

"The recent crises have ravaged Polemachus." Aricia explained. "Our farmlands, factories, villages, and our people have suffered terribly. Those ships will bring help in restoring them. The task is enormous. And we shall face it together."

Their moment was interrupted when Aricia saw a servant coming towards them. "What is this? How dare you not kneel in my presence!" She pressed a button, making the servant's bracelets light up as she kneeled in pain.

"Aricia, you're hurting her!" Danny cried. "Stop!"

Aricia gave Danny a strange look before complying. "As you wish, beloved."

"Forgive me, your majesty." The servant apologized. "It will not happen again."

Aricia dismissed her. "You may go."

"That poor girl was so terrified of you." Danny said as he turned to her with anger in his eyes. "What did you do to her?"

Aricia stepped back a bit, shocked by Danny's outrage. "I apologize, Danny. These recent crises have had me on edge lately."

"Still gives you no excuse to treat people like that." Danny scolded her.

"You're right, and in the future, I will make a conscious effort to be better." Aricia promised him.

"I hope so, Aricia." Danny said as he gave her a stern look. "I can't be married to a woman who treats people like slaves."

"And you won't." Aricia said. "I promise you that I will be a fair and just queen. I will always be there to help my people."

It was night, and the X-Men were watching as several guards were overseeing ships that were unloading several slaves in cages.

"You gonna try and tell me these guys are volunteers?" Wolverine said.

"You made your point, Logan." Cyclops relented.

"How barbaric, using slaves!" Storm said in disgust as they saw a new slave have his bracelets slapped on before being put in a different line.

"Danny won't approve of this." Rogue said as she glared at the scene. "This is enough evidence to get his obsession to snap him out of it. Now come on, let's go free those poor folks."

"I wouldn't advise that, my eager friend!" The X-Men turned to see the worker from before who was watching them now point a gun at them. "All of you, come with me now!"

Wolverine pulled out his claws. "Buddy, you just pointed that pop gun at the wrong man!"

The worker fired a blast as Wolverine jumped on top of him.

Cyclops noticed that the worker shot a guard instead and realized he was on their side. "Wolverine, wait!"

"An excellent idea." The worker said as he gazed at the claws in fear.

"He just took out one of those robot guards!" Cyclops explained to the X-Man in yellow spandex.

"He is on our side." Storm added.

"There are more coming!" Their new friend said as he got up. "You've triggered the alarms. We must leave now!"

"Looks like he's got a point." Wolverine said as they watched the guards open fire on them. "If you know a way out of this, pal, don't keep it a secret."

The X-Men took cover behind the rocks as the robots continued to fire.

"I guess this means we're not invited to the bachelor party." Wolverine quipped before slashing a robot in half while Cyclops shot another with his optic blast, knocking them into each other. Beast started punching them, shattering them against the rocky walls. Rogue was grabbing them by their arms and spinning them around while Storm unleashed her lightning on them.

"You fight well." The native said as he fired his gun at the guards. "You must do this often. I am Mentor, leader of the Belganian resistance. Perhaps you will help me to free my people."

"Everyone!" Cyclops got the attention of the X-Men. "Get those prisoners out of there!"

"Now you're talking!" Wolverine said in approval as Mentor and the X-Men destroyed the guards that were surrounding the slaves.

"Everyone, into the hills, now!" Mentor ordered the slaves as they cheered at being free before fleeing.

As they were all leaving, they were being watched by a couple of Polemachuns.

"The new workers!" One Polemachun said through his communicator. "Section Five! Code Omega!"

"Wolverine, any more guards?" Cyclops asked.

"Not unless you want to start putting them back together." Wolverine joked.

A ship was above them and it dropped a teleporting orb on them.

"They are attempting to transport us again." Beast said.

"Not this time." Cyclops fired his optic blast at the orb.

"Don't!" Mentor tried to warn him, but it was too late as the blast connected with the orb, causing an explosion that pushed them back.

Wolverine got up as he looked above to see more guards coming toward them. "About those guards, here comes the B team."

"Ok! We've got to get out of here!" Cyclops told everyone, but they found guards coming from all directions. "We're cut off!"

"So?" Wolverine said indifferently, itching to take down as many of these buckets of bolts as he could.

Mentor pulled out an orb. "I was saving this for an emergency."

"I believe this qualifies." Beast said.

A portal opened as the X-Men and Mentor entered.

"Beast!" Cyclops called out to his teammate. "Hurry, it's beginning to close!"

Beast managed to jump in but was hit in the leg by a blast as he fell to the ground on the other side of the portal.

The X-Men went over to their injured friend.

"Hank. How bad is it?" Cyclops asked.

"A bit worse than I might have liked." Beast replied.

"Summon the healers at once!" Mentor ordered.

Jubilee was watching the fireworks that were happening. "Danny, it's like a dream. Everything's so beautiful. I can't believe how calm you are."

Danny was talking with a servant as he was considering his options for his outfit for the wedding. "You have always lived on Polemachus. Which one would you suggest?"

"It is not my place." The servant said fearfully. "If my choice was wrong." She shivered. "Please do not ask me."

"Nonsense, you have nothing to fear." Danny reassured her. "I spoke with Aricia."

That was the wrong thing to say, as the servant got even more scared. "No, please!" She then left the room in fright.

"Danny, something's really wrong here." Jubilee said.

"I'll change it!" Danny vowed. "I'll make Aricia see that it is wrong! No one should be treated like that! I won't allow it!"

"You know?" Jubilee asked skeptically. "I'm sure Rogue would never treat someone like that."

Danny frowned as he thought about Rogue. Still thinking about her made his heart beat fast, something that Aricia failed to do. Why was he marrying her in the first place? Something was going on.

He then noticed Jubilee's worried look and answered her. "No, she wouldn't. She's a kind woman."

"Then why are you with Aricia and not her?" Jubilee asked.

Danny could only shrug, as he didn't know the answer either. "I don't know. It feels like something is keeping me from leaving Aricia. I don't know what."

Beast was having his wounds tended to as the X-Men and Mentor came up to him.

"How are you feeling, Beast?" Rogue asked.

"Thankful for life, yet ambivalent about the true function of the pain receptors of the human nervous system." Beast answered. "Rogue, I have grave misgivings about this wedding."

"You're not the only one." Rogue replied.

"Aricia is a ruthless tyrant!" Mentor ranted. "Just like her brother before her. Thousands of my people have been enslaved. Thousands more have perished at the hands of her robot guards. It was honestly a surprise when she was given command. We never knew about her existence. One day, Arkon made an announcement that he was stepping down and that his sister, whom he had kept secret all these years, would take her place. Then she showed up and said that her brother died of an illness, and she's been continuing her brother's cruelty ever since."

"Looks like I'll need to have a talk with the bride." Rogue snarled. "Danny will never tolerate this. He won't let people suffer, no matter what Aricia's drugged him with. He's got to see Aricia's tyranny for himself."

"The heavy metal in the rocks above prevents Aricia from using the rings that surround this planet to detect us." Mentor explained. "But that advantage may soon be lost to us. Let me show you. We have learned the access codes to Aricia's transport ships. We could use them to escape, but for this." He showed them a screen with a glowing tower.

"That tower feeds energy to the robots and the control rings." Mentor revealed. "The entire structure of their police state depends on it. Aricia is building an even more powerful transmitter, one that will detect us even in these caverns."

Rogue narrowed her eyes. "Come on guys. Let's save these people and Danny."

Aricia was being informed by her advisors of some very troubling news.

"The resistance and your guests rescued most of the slaves before we could apprehend them." The advisor said as he showed her an image of the destruction that the X-Men had left.

"This is intolerable!" Aricia yelled. "These Earth criminals must be stopped!"

"But, your majesty, they're your fiancée's friends!" The advisor protested. "What if they resist?"

"Eliminate them all." Aricia said coldly. "Except for the one known as Rogue. Bring her to me alive."

Danny, Aricia, and Jubilee were having dinner when Jubilee noticed that Danny seemed down in the dumps. Jubilee looked at the empty chairs and realized Danny missed his friends.

"Don't worry, Danny." Jubilee comforted him. "They'll show up."

"Darling, you're not eating your dinner." Aricia said. "Does it not please you?"

"What, are you gonna execute the cooks if I don't like it?" Danny snarked.

Aricia was taken aback by Danny's attitude. "What is wrong, my love?"

Danny placed his fork down as he glared at Aricia. "I'll tell you what's wrong. I'm tired of the way you run things. How you treat people. You treat them like slaves."

The X-Men burst through a wall as they entered the room.

"Slaves is right, Danny." Rogue said.

"Guys, what are you doing here?" Danny asked.

"Ask your girlfriend." Rogue said bitterly. "Oh wait, that's me! Ask the bitch how she recruits the palace help. I'll give you a hint. What's a person who does all the work, is treated like crap, and never gets paid?"

"They're slaves!" Danny realized with wide eyes. He turned to Aricia with his eyes glowing green in rage. "You've been using slaves!"

Aricia held her hands up. "No! I don't use..."

"Don't lie to me!" Danny roared before he gripped his head in pain as he felt something trying to take hold of him.

"That's it, Danny!" Rogue cheered, seeing that his obsession was fighting the drug. "Fight it!"

Danny screamed as he forced the drug out of his system. He gave Arica a look of contempt. "You! You did this to me! You tried to make me a slave as well!"

Aricia was now terrified as she saw her beloved's fury. "No, I would never..."

"Shut up!" Danny shouted. "I'm putting an end to this once and for all. All this you built with slaves." Danny gestured to the entire room and her kingdom. "I'm gonna tear it down brick by brick. I don't love you. I never loved you. The only person I love is Rogue, and she never had to drug me to receive my heart."

He gave Rogue a pleading look as he grabbed her hands. "Rogue, I'm so sorry for everything I said to you."

Rogue smiled at having her man back to normal. "It's all right, Danny. It wasn't your fault. That bitch drugged you. I love you, and that's why I didn't quit when you were pinning for her. Because love doesn't give up, and I won't give up on you."

Danny hugged her. "I love you."

"I love you too." Rogue replied.

Danny then let go of her as he glared at Aricia. "Now it's time to put an end to this!"

Aricia glared back, realizing the jig was up. "Guards!"

Guards started to enter the room as all the X-Men fought them.

"Danny, that tower!" Rogue pointed to the tower. "It's what powers the robots!"

"Then it's coming down!" Danny fired an ecto-blast at it, destroying it as the robots fell to the ground with no power source to keep them active.

"No!" Aricia bemoaned. "My empire! My life! My beautiful life!"

A man who had similar features burst into the room as he also glared at Aricia. "You!" He pointed at her. "You will pay for locking me up in my personal dungeons!"

"Who the hell are you?" Danny asked.

"I am Arkon, ruler of this world!" The man revealed.

Danny turned to Aricia. "You even lied about your brother dying?"

"Brother?" Arkon said in confusion. "I'm not her brother!"

The X-Men were all giving Aricia suspicious looks.

"Who are you really?" Danny demanded.

Aricia tried to make a run for it before Danny blasted her with an ecto-blast, knocking her to the ground as he ended up changing form. Her true form was that of a blue woman in a white outfit with red hair.

"Mystique!" The X-Men gasped.

"It was you!" Rogue glared at her adoptive mother with fire in her eyes.

"How did you even get here?" Danny asked.

"I was captured when Arkon decided to see if Earth was a good place to get slaves." Mystique explained. 'Luckily, my powers allowed me to escape and get close to him. I eventually locked him up and took his form. With that, I had this planet at my fingertips, but there was something I still wanted. My daughter, the one you took from me." If looks could kill, Danny would be a full ghost at the one Mystique was giving him.

"So, I made an announcement as Arkon, telling the people that I was stepping down and that my sister, who has been hidden all this time, would take my place." Mystique said. "Then the next day was the birth of Aricia, the woman who would lead you away from my daughter so I could have her back."

"I can't believe you!" Rogue was being held back from tearing out Mystique's eyes. "You drugged my boyfriend and made him break up with me! How could you?"

"I did this for you, Rogue!" Mystique responded. "He's a bad influence on you!"

"No!" Rogue refuted. "Danny's the best thing that ever happened to me, and you tried to take him away from me."

Mystique tried to make her daughter see that she did this out of love. "Rogue, I love you! That's why I did this!"

"You don't know what love is!" Rogue shouted. "If you did, you wouldn't have abandoned Kurt. You wouldn't have made me do what I did to Ms. Marvel. You wouldn't have used me as a pawn for the Brotherhood. You wouldn't have kept these people enslaved. You wouldn't have drugged my boyfriend. You don't know what love is, but I do."

She gave Danny a loving look. "It's with that man over there. And I'm not leaving him. Ever. So stay away!"

Mystique would have said more if Rogue hadn't punched her, knocking her unconscious.

Arkon nodded in approval. "Thank you for your assistance; now I can take back control!"

Storm electrocuted him. "He was also a slaver as well." She explained when Danny gave her a questioning look.

The X-Men bid farewell to Mentor as he and the resistance arrested Arkon as they prepared to put him on trial for all of his crimes.

The heroes were given an orb, and they and the captive Mystique found themselves back in Washington, D.C.

They were all flying the Blackbird home when Rogue turned to Danny. "So, want to go home, cuddle, and watch a movie?"

Danny smiled. "I'd love to."

"What are you gonna do with me?" Mystique said from the seat she was tied to.

Rogue smirked. "Don't worry, Mystique, I got a replacement groom for you."

Sabretooth was watching television and sipping his beer when Mystique fell through his roof.

"Let me guess, you tried to mess with that white-haired X-Man?" Sabretooth asked.

"I tried to keep him away from my daughter." Mystique answered.

"Yep, that would do it." Sabretooth responded. "Personally, I'd stay away from that guy. There's something not right about him."

"You're telling me." Mystique muttered.

Sabretooth sighed. "I'm gonna get some fresh air." He got up to leave the room. "There's some beer in the fridge. Help yourself."

Mystique merely groaned in pain.
