Aizawa got a call from Naomasa as he was finishing his patrol at 3 am. He almost didn't answer but figured it must be important if Naomasa was possibly willing to incur his wrath.

"What is it?" He heard a sigh on the other end of the line.

"Nox just handed himself in" Shouta froze before cursing; turning around, he headed back towards the station.

"I will be there in five; don't let anyone talk to him", and with that, he hung up the phone before activating his capture weapon and taking to the roofs. He managed to get to the station in around eight minutes and, without hesitating, walked right towards where Naomasa was standing, looking tired.

"Where is my problem of a child?" Naomasa's lips twitched upwards in a small smile before pointing to a small figure sitting at a desk, swinging his feet and humming.

"Firstly, I'm glad you're admitting he is your kid, and secondly, he has been sitting there happily for the last 15 minutes. I think he is waiting for you." Shouta sighed before walking over. Nox must have seen him as he visibly sat up straighter and seemed to be grinning under his mask.

"Eraser! How are you this fine morning?" Shouta looked at the slight child, who sighed briefly before slumping in his seat.

"Okay, my name is Nox, I'm a vigilante, and I'm pretty well fucked. Happy?" Shouta felt himself die a little on the inside. The problem kid looked cute, pouting at him with his arms crossed.

"What have you done now?" Nox shrugged, trying to appear nonchalant and not as anxious as he must have been.

"I may or may not have turned myself in because I lost a bet." Shouta at him in disbelief.

"Why would you bet this?!" Nox tried avoiding his judgmental look by looking anywhere else.

"In my defence, I didn't think I would lose." Shouta put a hand on his head.

"You bet on whether or not you would hand yourself in for vigilantism because you didn't think you would lose. What was the bet?" Nox continued avoiding the eyes before mumbling something.

"I'm going to need you to speak up, problem child."

"I said I bet on whether or not I could go a month before bringing home a cat. BUT Dabi had to go a month before kidnapping a kid! I was certain I would win." "What did your brother bet with?" Shouta asked in disbelief at his kid's stupidity.

"Oh, if he lost, he finally had to ask out his chicken. I'm fed up with all the pinning." Shouta nodded. That was fair enough.

"But you couldn't have bet anything else? also, why did you turn yourself into the police and not me?" Nox looked away again.

"Dabi said you don't count as your, basically, my dad?" Shouta quickly hid how happy that made him before sighing.

"Okay, first things first are you going to tell us your actual name? or anything about yourself" Nox shrugged.

"I mean, technically, I think I'm considered dead? Dabi is for sure, but I'm not certain about myself." Shouta's heart broke at that quiet admission. Before he could say anything else, a black blur approached them, grabbing the tiny vigilante.

"I swear to god, Nox, I didn't think you would turn yourself in!" Shouta relaxed slightly after recognising Dabi.

"A bets, a bet. What made you think I wouldn't follow through on this one when I have on all the others" Dabi shook his head in disbelief.

"Maybe because this one leads to you in prison?"

"I mean, I'm quirkless. I bet nobody bar Eraser here, and maybe Naomasa would believe I'm Nox." Shouta had to agree honestly; quirkism was rather rampant within the police force, sadly.

"Not the point!" Dabi almost shouted. Naomasa decided to walk over during this.

"Nobody here currently will arrest you, so please leave and give us plausible deniability." Shouta chuckled. He wasn't surprised.

"Right, problem children, follow me. We can go discuss bad bets to make over some coffee." Nox and Dabi answered simultaneously as they began to follow him out of the station.

"I'm not a child!"

"Okay, Eraser, can we go to that 24/7 cat cafe, please." Shouta smiled softly into his capture weapon.

"Of course, kid."
