Here's another chapter for Jungle Loud.
The new comers that consists of a familia of Latinos and a Scottish couple. The Latino familia are Ronnie Anne Santiago, her older brother Bobby Santiago and their mother Maria Casagrande-Santiago. Their relatives the grandparents Hector and Rosa Casagrande, the parents Carlos Casagrande his wife Frida Puga-Casagrande. Their children from oldest to youngest Carlota, Carlos "CJ", Carlino "Carl" and Carlitos. Their pets, Sergio the scarlet macaw who speaks fluently and their dog Lalo the English Mastiff. The Scottish couple is Angus the groundskeeper of a place in Scotland known as Loch Loud, the woman next to him, is Morag the maid/safari hunter.
Ronnie Anne speaks to the whole familia: "This is such a great and crazy idea. Going to Africa of all places." Then CJ adds: "Yeah, the ship ride made me feel like a pirate. Arg!" He acts like a pirate pretending to be one while holding a wooden sword in hand and wearing an eyepatch.
Hector speaks regarding their adventure: "I cannot believe the college gave you the funding to take this expedition, Carlos." The son says to his papa: "I know. Even though I'm not much of a field man. But still this'll be nice to get out of the city." Rosa sounds worried for a moment: "I just hope the mercado and the apartments can be tended to without us." Carlota says to her abuela to reassure: "I'm sure they'll be fine. So I'm more worried about this jungle. I mean, the jungle has a lot of humid air." Just then her hair extends and curls up up almost like sheep wool. Everyone says in shock: "Wow!" The eldest sister uses a portable mirror looks at the new hairdo and says admiring: "Wow is right. I totally rock this look!"
As they travel to reach land, when Morag and Angus walks on the beach, the Scottish woman holding a doubled-barreled-shotgun, while the man was holding a walking stick. Angus says to the group: "Can you believe it? We're in the last location of the Loud family's disappearance?" Morag replies: "Indeed, you think we'll find them?" She asks with a forced teeth smile. The Scottish Groundskeeper answers: "Possibly. But we couldn't go because despite having the vast Loud fortune we couldn't spend it because it wasn't ours. But thanks to this expedition we may find them or at least if they're buried." Morag's forced smile was a relief smile hoping the Loud bloodline will be severed.
The crew unloads the equipment and tools and began setting up camp while the Casagrandes and two Scottish people venture into the jungle. They saw many things, along the way Ronnie Anne stops to see a monkey. A macaque to be precise.
Ronnie Anne says in awe: "Ho! A monkey. Hey guys come back! Come back!" But they were a but too far, unknown to the Latino girl, she were being watch by Lincoln who's hiding in the trees. The gorilla Stella was neck to him, Lincoln says to her: "What is she?" The female gorilla answers: "She's a human. The same species as you and your family." The white haired boy watches he still, as she draws the monkey on but, then the primate climbs on her shoulder seeing the drawing of himself in his natural state. Ronnie Anne asks the animal: "You like hu?" The monkey rips the paper from the book.
As it still stares as if it was vain, even comes his own hair, "Okay, you like the drawing. Can I have it back now?" The monkey then takes the whole book and starts laughing. "Hey! Please give it back to me." The monkey turns around and waves his butt at her. ¡Será mejor que devuelvas ese diario o te arrepentirás de haber nacido!" She spoke in her native language threatening the monkey. But the monkey wasn't taking her threat seriously. She was now irritated so she simply retakes her book and the page to which the monkey begins to cry. "Crocodile tears. My friend Sid taught me to be careful around animals like you." The Latino girl said to the primate as if she got wise than normal people would.
The monkey's expression changes from using his crocodile tears to a stoke expression and starts to point behind her. Ronnie Anne was confuses at first, she turns around and sees a whole bunch of macaque, "Wow! Didn't see that coming." So the girl gives the page back to the monkey but this didn't please them.
The macaques snarled and began to charge, Ronnie Anne began to run for her life as they chase her.
Lincoln says reacting to this: "She's endanger! I need to save her!" So he grabs the vine and begins to swing through the tree.
Ronnie Anne runs and screams: "I wish Sid was here! She know what to do!" She kept running as the primates kept drawing closer, but is grabbed from the back of her shirt, pulled up into the trees.
She looks down to see she looks like she's flying, "What…how am I?" She looks up to see Lincoln carrying her and screams, as the boy and girl looses the monkeys, they lands on a large tree limb. "Put me down! I demand you put me down!" But the huge hoard of monkeys kept charging towards the feral boy and civilized girl. "On second thought, pick me up! Pick me up!" She volunteering jumps back on his arms, to which he grabs her.
The boy still carries her, avoiding the monkey hoard, he even lands on a hollow log but splits on the two sides which Lincoln grins in pain. They look up to see the monkeys still coming in. Lincoln quickly reacts jumps up, they slide down the log as the monkeys charge in the hole all together but also clogs it.
Steven and Lincoln lands on a tree, as they watch the monkeys struggle to free themselves, but in doing so the log gives in and falls under their combined weight.
The only ones free is the macaque and the alpha, who hanging by vine, the two primates and wild boy argued in ape language, in the end, Lincoln takes the book from Ronnie Anne's hand and gives the page of the very same macaque who she drew earlier.
The monkey takes the page back and cuddles it, clearly he was vain of his own image.
As for the Casagrandes they didn't know Ronnie Anne was gone, CJ looks at the jungle followers and says: "Pretty flowers. I wish I could take them home." But Carlos says to her son: "No son. The jungle is a delicate ecosystem. Taking a single flower could dire consequences, and some plants could be poisonous." Carlota eyes widen, she collected some plants and replant them.
They continued to walk until they stumbled upon something of a nest, and not just any nest a gorilla's nest. Carlos, Frida, Angus and Morag kneeled down. "If I have to guess this is a gorilla's nest." Frida speak in agreement: "Indeed, and look over there's more." They see more of the nest and even see a grove of bamboo with some bend or broken in half. Carl questions: "What's the big deal about a pile of leaves and dirt?" Maria answers her nephew: "From what the school funded your father to study animal behaviors. Gorilla's are one of them." As the family of humans along with the two Scottish members talk, Luan was hidden in the trees.
Hector says regarding this expedition: "…So gorillas are one the animals we're suppose to study right?" Carlos answers with enthusiasm: "Yes. We need to…" He's interrupted by Morag who takes her rifle and fires it in the air aimlessly. Rosa says to her: "Ms. Morag, we appreciate what you're doing but what if you scare off an animal?" The Scottish woman answers feeling suspicious: "It's no animal I'm familiar with." They were just as suspicious of what she meant by.
As for Luan was hanging around the holes Morag made with her gun. She began to slowly creep away.
Bobby gets up, he looked around and noticed his sister was nowhere to be found. Bobby says in a panic: "Where's Ronnie Anne? Where's my sister?!" They looked around to see their relative is gone, Rosa exclaims: "Dos Mio! Where's Ronnie Anne?" Carl answers in the form of a guess: "I thought I heard her saying, she was drawing a monkey." Carlota asks her brother: "And you're just telling us?!" The Hispanic boy replies to his sister: "I thought you heard her too! Don't blame me if you weren't listening!" Angus says to the family: "Now, now don't panic. Panicking never solves anything." Maria agreeing with Angus: "He's right. Maybe she's back at the beach shore." Then Frida begins to cry and says through her tears: "(Sobbing) I hope she isn't hurt! What kind of animal would harm a sweet girl like Ronnie Anne?!" She kept crying as her husband comforts her.
As for Luan she swings through the jungle to tell her family about the new comers.
As for Ronnie Anne, she struggles to climb down, while speaking to herself: "I got chase by a bunch, monkeys. And carried by a weird monkey boy. How could this day get any…" Rain started pour on her…"worse." She looks down seeing Lincoln under her, which startles her, but he catches her, and pushes her up and back on the tree limb away from the rain using the leaves as a roof.
Ronnie Anne walks back, "Now stay there! Keep away, wild boy." She treats him like a dog, which the boy draws close to her. She was different from the other humans he's seen, her skin was a tan brown color with black hair in the form of a ponytail. She was confused why this boy stares at her, he drew closer to her invading her personal space even placing his head against her heart listening to her heartbeat, even though she closes her eyes of fright.
He removes his head from her chest, then presses her head against his chest to make her listen to his heartbeat. Ronnie Anne says to him: "Ok, that's a very nice heartbeat there." The wild boy draws closer again, pressing his hand against her face, to which she angrily spoke, "How dare you?!" She tries to punch him, but he catches her fist, then opens her palm up, he presses his hand against hers. Ronnie Anne stares into his eyes, as does he to hers, as if they were meant to meet.
Ronnie Anne says to him again, "You are more than a wild child aren't you?" The boy answers: "Yes. I mean I was born and raised here in the jungle and by both my parents and lions." The Hispanic girl was shocked, and angrily exclaims as she hits him repeatedly as he blocks her attacks with his arm: "You mean you've could've talked, this whole time?!" Lincoln says to her: "Yeah. But in my defense you never asked. You just presumed I couldn't speak or understand English." The Hispanic couldn't make an argument even though he looks like her description of a savage.
As for Luan swings until she reaches the house where her family where she gathers her sisters, and their foster families as well. Lori bangs her rock gavel and says: "This meeting is called to order. Now to begin, I Lori literally leader of the Tiger tribe. Leni the duchess of the hawks." The second born sister raises her right arm with a hawk on her left arm.
"Luna alpha of the wolf pack." The third sister says to announce her precious: "What's up sis?" The first born daughter replies: "I'm doing fine, thank you very much. Now continuing, Luan the countess of the monkeys and chimps." The comedic sister says: "I'm here Lori." The her ventriloquist dummy Mr. Coconuts says: "(Mr. Coconuts voice) Don't forget about me toots. I'm also here for this meeting." Luan says normally: "Don't worry Mr. C. And I ain't monkeying around. Hahaha! Get it?" The group groans but the monkeys laughed.
Lori still speaks: "Okay, now Lynn the champion of the rhinos." The most athletic member says: "Right here sis." She said as she lifts a stick with two rocks like weights. Lori speaks again: "Lincoln, prince of the lions?" No responds even though the sisters and animals looked around then one of the lionesses says: "I guess he's running late." Leni asks the large felines: "Running late? How fast can he run?" Lori says wanting to continue the meeting: "We'll have to fill them in later. But now Lucy, queen of the bat tribe and shadows?" The goth sister appears hanging upside down from the tree above her sisters frightening the elder sister, who simply answers: "Here. My bats and I have been up here the whole time."
The first born daughter says to her: "Thanks for keeping as creepy as possible." To which Lucy says: "You're welcome." She hides in her black cape. Lori continues the meeting: "The twins Lola and Lana the princesses of the flamingos and iguanas." To which the flamingo bows, while the iguana sister burps. "Lisa, the chief scientist of the owls." The second to last sister answers: "Present." Then Lori finishes: "And Lily of the Fox clan?" The youngest sister waves hello.
The eldest sister continues the meeting: "Okay now we're almost together, Luan called for this meeting, Luan please tell us what you have to report." The comedic sister steps up as the elder sister steps down.
Luan begins but this time being serious: "As you know I'm a comedic member. But, now I'm being serious. There's some new humans in the jungle. In fact while they were looking at dad's gorilla's family's old nesting spot, one of them almost hit me with the sticks that shoots fire and metal. Luckily she missed." Lola asks her sister: "Wait, new humans? What did they look like?" Luan continues to explain: "Well two of them were like us, white. And there were more who were, like tan color with black hair. Not exactly like the native tribes. They were different in a way." Lisa says regarding the new comers: "Well we should find their campsite so is to better understand these hairless primates." The Loud sisters agreed.
Back with Lincoln and Ronnie Anne who climbed down from the tree to explore the jungle, to which she asks him: "So why are you living in the jungle? And follow up, do you live here by yourself?" The wild boy answers: "Not entirely. I live with my parents and 10 sisters along with my animal foster family."
Ronnie Anne was shocked to hear this, the fact that a boy who is raised by both animals and his human parents alike. Ronnie Anne says to him: "So where are the rest of your family now?" The young man answers: "Well if I know my parents and sisters. Mom and Dad are exploring the jungle. As for my sisters they probably are or did have a meeting regarding your family and the two other humans." The Hispanic girl was now confused by this news and asks: "A meeting? Why?" Lincoln replies: "Well we don't get many outsiders here. And if I had to guess they could pose a danger to us and our home." Ronnie Anne reassures him: "I doubt they…" She's interrupted by loud noises which gains their attention.
30 minutes earlier as the Loud sisters, the animals with them ventured forward among them is Lincoln's friends who are also looking for him Clyde the elephant, Stella the she-gorilla, Liam the honey badger, Zach the meerkat, and Rusty the Warthog. Rusty exclaims calling out for his friend: "Lincoln! Where are ya partner?" Lola also calls out: "Linky!" They reach the camp of the Casagrandes and the two Scottish people. The feral humans and animals looked around to see the objects. Liam asks regarding them: "What the tar nation are these do-hickeys?"
Zach answers based off his conspiracy theories: "This must be the alien humans' objects." Lisa somewhat agree: "True. But I doubt these don't look like weapons." They continue they see multiple tents and objects, some looked harmless, some dangerous. They even opened some trunks of suitcase with clothes to which Leni, Lola and Lori holds some dresses up to them wondering how they would look like dressed in them.
Luan with Mr. Coconuts in hand, along with her Lana, Luna and Lily with them. They saw instruments, and objects similar to Aztec and Hispanic culture, Mr. Coconut says regarding the objects: "Wow, toots! This looks like a golden monkey monster." The comedic sister agrees: "You're right Mr. Coconuts. That's creepy." As for Luna says after seeing a guitar: "Cool guitar." She begins to play it, but the strings were that not of rock music but of Latino music. As for Lana she picks up a golden dagger and uses it as a toothpick.
Lucy, Lynn and Lisa sees painting and medical equipment, Scientific tools and what looks like religious objects. They didn't know what to make of them even Lisa but than again her knowledge of science in this case is limited.
The animals including Stella, Liam, Rusty Zach and Clyde who saw a gramophone, which Stella turns on and it begins to play opera music, this confused the animals. Rusty asks: "How it playing this strange sound?" Zach answers: "Must be some sort of alien magic that's beyond our knowledge." Stella finishes: "Well whatever it is, I like the sound."
They still explore the camp, they started to play rhythm with random objects. It started with two forks tapping against a lantern's glass. Then they started ransacked the camp, throwing things around, but Luna plays with the guitar, the feral children and animals began to us random objects even the amplifier of the gramophone they played jazz music. They all even began to sing as scat, playing and breaks plates and silverware. Till finally when they finished, is when Lincoln and Ronnie Anne enters the the camp grounds.
The sisters and animal friends were gathering around, Ronnie looks at the wild boy with his family and animal friends.
Here's the latest chapter, I need a break sometimes, I think even Stephen King and JR Tolkin needed time to think and let their brains cool down. Plus I have new and old stories to work on.
