"So, will you introduce these 'friends' of yours? I certainly didn't expect war machines to bulldoze my school. Let alone ones that are... magical." Ozpin emphasized the last word.

"Well, this one on my right is Tiger! Full name the Panzerkampfwagen VI Tiger Ausführung H1, he has three amazing features! The long 88 mm KwK36 gun, the Schachtellaufwerk interleaving torsion suspension system, and a box armour shape of the hull with a circular turret housing the 88 mm gun! The engine is designed and manufactured by-"

Yang grabbed Ruby starting to jump up and down over and over. "Ruby, I think most of those words went straight through everyone's ears. Just introduce their names."

"But Yang! The weapons, the armour, the undercarriage, the engineering, and more! There's so much stuff I want to share! It's a cardinal sin to not talk about great technology!"

"Heh, hear that, Iosif? Great technology, she's right about that."

"You mean overengineered, Tiger."

"What'd you say-"

Ruby halted their argument with a cute glare. "Tiger, Iosif, don't start again. You're both beautiful weapons of mass destruction. Besides, Tiger was created in mid-1942 while Iosif was made in late-1943, not a fair comparison."

""Fine.""

"Ahem! Moving on, to my left is Iosif or IS-2. Since I haven't talked to him much, all I know is that he's called a 'Communist' by Tiger. Apparently, it's a super complicated idea, even for Tiger to explain."

"Interesting." Ozpin mused. "I'd like to get an in-depth explanation, of history, creation, everything. As for how to collect data, I'd like Glynda to-"

"Ozpin," Glynda growled from the side. She reminded him she'd been the one managing most of the school's paperwork already.

Ozpin grimaces before backtracking. "Perhaps, James would like to listen to them. I don't doubt they will have an interest in your group of troublesome vehicles."

"They're called tanks, headmaster." Ruby corrected. "So it would be a group of troublesome tanks."

"Why not call them the troop of troublesome tanks?" Blake suggested. "It's weird not to hear alliteration during that whole title. I think they deserve it considering we caused more monetary damage than the last time we did something."

"That's perfect, Blake! It would be hard to make RWBY + IT, let's just call you guys the TTT!" she then gets a question regarding their existence. "Hold on, are there more of you?"

Tiger responded first, "Well, I can think of many but I remember the Japanese and..." he shudders if a tank could. "...the Italians. Gah! It hurts to even say that."

Iosif scoffed, "At least you're not stuck with the capitalist scum. I always see them as suspicious, who knows when they would suddenly switch sides?"

"Yeah... Haha... Switch sides... Yeah..." Tiger half-heartedly laughed.

Ozpin began to get the team back. "Well, now that we're all cleared up, Glynda can lead you all back to your dorms-"

*RING!*

"Oh, looks like my scroll is ringing."

About 10 seconds pass as Ozpin twiddles his thumbs while closing his eyes and waiting.

"Uh... Where's your scroll?" Ruby asks.

He looks up as the others follow his gaze and see a scroll implanted on the ceiling. Glynda coughed in embarrassment before activating her semblance and taking the miraculously undamaged scroll out of the ceiling.

"Thank you, Glynda." he puts his ear near the scroll. "Yes? We do. Who is?" he lifts it outward and motions for the Faunus. "Miss Belladonna, someone is asking for their entrance in Beacon. He says you should know him."

Blake's amber eyes hover over the caller and put it up to her ear, no not the cat ears, the human ones. "Tukson? Is that you?"

"Yes, it's me. I had to close up shop earlier because a friend of your friend is looking for her. You know? The one you keep talking about when you enter my store?"

"Ruby? Yeah, I do. Is something wrong?" she glances at the tanks before realizing something. "Wait, is this friend of Ruby's green, desert camouflage or has a massive gun on top of what looks like a refrigerator?"

"Exactly like that."

"How in the world?"

"Anyways, I can start going up there if your headmaster asks or you can come here if it's not allowed. Your friend is quite... interesting."

Blake sighed. "Ruby does that sometimes. Just get him here." she hands back over the scroll. "Is it okay headmaster?"

"Of course... I think I might prefer this friend of yours to come here rather than ask Glynda for another favour." Glynda's ire subsided now that Ozpin was not high on caffeine.

"Who do you think is next?" Ruby asked Tiger.

"I'm not sure, when we came here we heard your call, you wouldn't know who to expect. Anyone, or rather, anything can respond and be given consciousness - usually with the personality of the crew that piloted them. I don't know what the limit is so you might be hearing 'Britannia rules the waves' one day."

"Hehe, I can't wait!" Ruby squealed. "More machines are always welcome, Crescent Rose could use some more friends once in a while. She gets lonely without anyone to talk to."

Weiss observed her team-leader in concern. "Yang, did you not play with her as a kid? She's got an imaginary friend and everything. Well, now that she has the others, I guess it's not imaginary anymore."

"Well, Ruby does have that... peculiarity," Yang responded.

*DING!*

The elevators chimed as the door opened to reveal Tukson and another tiny tank in his hand. This time, Tiger and Iosif groaned. ""Oh god, it's an American.""

"What's so bad about me?" Sherman enlarged himself after meeting the other two tanks. "I'm just a tank made in Cleveland, Ohio. You don't need to like me but I don't have to like you either."

The Soviet and German tanks nodded their barrels in response. ""Oooooohhh. Our condolences. Sorry for judging, you could've told us you're from Ohio.""

"...I don't even want to ask. Is Ruby Rose here?"

Tiger looked to her last known location. "Yeah, she's right..." before he looked around after seeing a pile of roses from where Ruby was. "Where is she? Oh, she's already inspecting the Sherman."

Ruby was currently underneath Sherman, without even noticing just because of her speed. "Oh my Brothers! Oh my Brothers! Oh my Brothers! Is that a new suspension?! What's that gun of yours?! Why are you so taller?!"

"We lost her."

"Ozpin, am I really hearing this right?"

"James, your creamer is going to the floor Glynda recently cleaned up."

Ironwood stops and tilts his creamer back and places it back into his coat pocket. "You're saying that an interdimensional autonomous machine that has a conscious has somehow traveled through space and time to aid one of your students Ruby Rose? I've never heard of a second semblance."

"That's where you draw the line on impossible?"

Ironwood paused before closing in and tilting Ozpin's head. "I knew it, you aren't this... not-Ozpin. Have you taken more nasally? Moderation is key, you know I warned about that. Here." Ironwood hands over a small dose of anti-coffee.

Ozpin takes it and drips a few in his mouth. His irises enlarge and shrink before returning to normal. He suddenly returns to being normal Ozpin and narrows his eyes. "Ironwood, there are many of those of the improbable that can be truthful. Perhaps, I can lend you some of Ruby's time."

"Ah, that's better. I assume that's why I've found a desk-sized hole on the pavement on my way here. Glynda may have forgotten to fix that, did you make her go overtime again?"

"I have no idea what you mean. Moving on, why have you arrived with your army in Vale? I don't know if I've heard the headmaster following along with their students in the Vytal festival."

"You know how much Vale is good to me, a frozen wasteland isn't always the best place to stay."

"Funny, I've heard that from Iosif as well."

"Iosif... you said he comes from a place called the Soviet Union? Is it really that bad there? Without Dust, I can only imagine how insufferable that place might be."

"It's true, Tiger can attest to that. He says many have died in the winter. Seeing as you're here, I'm surprised you held back on interrogating the tanks."

"Oz, you know I won't disrespect you by involving a student of yours. It's your decision on the matter, as friends should do."

"Right, onto another issue. I'm concerned that you brought out your fleet in Vale. Should I remind you that the Vytal festival is only for peace? I understand where you come from but this isn't Atlas."

"Oz, you know I'm just trying to be careful. None of this should be troubling. If what Qrow says is true, then we might need to take action."

Ozpin ponders for a moment, it was an opportunity. An Atlesian army might not be the answer but how about a foreign one instead? "James, I have a solution. Both deal with this tactfully while bringing the firepower needed to subdue a threat."

"What do you mean?"

Ozpin put his hands together as he composes his thoughts. "Project R.T.T.T. if this semblance is truly what she says, then it might be our most valuable yet."

"You mean to use Miss Rose? Oz, sending your children to war isn't the best of choices."

"Perhaps not children... what about... tanks?"

Meanwhile...

In a room full of books and shelves sat amongst the chairs and tables were team RWBY. Mini versions of the tanks placed themselves on opposing edges of a gameboard, one that not many understand, especially one Weiss Schnee.

"Yang! Trust me, creating an industrial base to outproduce the world is always the answer! We need more factories! More material! And of course, a massive fleet to go with it!"

"Weiss, we can always believe in the quality and engineering of our people! A blitzkrieg will surely work against the shoddy and mass-produced equipment! We might not have the speed but we for damn sure got the superiority!"

"Don't worry Ruby, the love and beauty of the motherland will protect our citizens as we begin our counterattack! We believe in our glorious leader if we capture them we can get them to the gulags! For the Soviet Union! Uuuuraaaaaaa!"

"You guys are way into this. Isn't this just a board game?" Blake points out. "I know you are all enemies in your world but you guys don't have to keep the hate along dimensional lines."

"Nein!

"нет!"

"Never!"

The board game went as expected for a group of tanks and their human allies. It wasn't a boring game that's for sure. Even Weiss had been caught up in believing in German superiority after almost winning the game but then it quickly went away when Yang and Ruby ganged up on her. I guess history repeats itself even in another world.

Jaune approached the merry band with a smile. "So do you guys normally have miniature tanks going around and screaming stuff at you? Definitely, the first time it happened went... I don't want to talk about it."

"Hello again!" Pyrrha oddly had more glee in her voice, almost like she went to heaven and came back more blessed than ever. No one knew why except for Pyrrha and Jaune.

"Have you all already talked to the headmaster about this? Y'know after all the stuff that happened when we figured out that Blake is a F-"

Oh no! Jaune's about to reveal Blake's secret of being a Faunus! Pyrrha had a few seconds... No! She had a few milliseconds to think! She leaped from her seat and shoved the boy down to the ground to help out.

"Fan fiction lover with an emphasis on the smutty kind!"

"Pyrrha, I think that's worse than saying Blake's a F-"

"Fabulously dressed individual!"

"I don't think wearing a bow to hide the fact she's a F-"

"Fantastic pole dancer!"

"Ok, now that I can believe."

"What?!" Blake had been meticulously brought down by each excuse, I mean she agreed with one thing but Jaune couldn't keep his mouth shut.

"What's this I heard about a pole-"

*YEET!*

"Sun!" a blue-haired boy called out. "Girl, you got some throwing power." he suddenly gets a cold-hearted gaze from Blake as he ran to save his probably unconscious partner.

Later...

"Anyways, now that I've recovered from that. Ruby, Blake, Yang, Ice Queen." he each pointed to the person he calls out, much to Weiss' displeasure.

"Why does everyone call me that?"

"Ja, maybe it's because your name literally means Snow White in German. Hard not to see the connection, plus it's a great description of your porcelain white skin and sadistic nature. I can concur that your features that people prefer."

After hearing the random voice, Sun looked to the guys on team JNPR, Ren and Jaune just swayed their heads in response. "Who just talked?" Sun asked.

"Oh!" Ruby recognized her opportunity. "It's them. Sun, meet Iosif, Sherman, and the one who talked, Tiger." the tanks on the table waved their guns as Sun blinked thrice to try and comprehend the situation.

"Nice prank guys, there's no way I just saw some board game trinkets talk to me. I've seen way too many comedies with this plot."

"No it's true, we can't just show them here since Miss Goodwitch threatened to fight us in training for the next few weeks if we let them loose again."

"Again?"

Blake was the one to answer. "They destroyed half the dorms, scarred Cardin Winchester, and possibly shot through something in the mess. You'd be surprised what their guns can do."

"Well, uhh... meet my friend here Neptune. He's the smart-ass." Sun points behind him.

"I prefer intellectual." With goggles a fresh cut and some decent clothes, he did look like an intellectual, only to him of course. "Aren't libraries for reading? You've already knocked someone to the wall, so I suppose that's been answered."

"So, where are you from Neptune?" Weiss asked.

"I'm from Haven... and I don't believe I caught your name, Snow Angel?"

"Ahem! Correction, Snow White. Does anyone actually care what I say? Is it because I'm German?"

""Yes."" Both Iosif and Sherman answered. "We both know you started that whole war because some funny mustache man was good at talking."

"What?! I'll show you talking when I shove that barrel up your-"

"Weiss! Yang! Protocol 0!"

The two nodded before clamping down on the tanks in front of them while Ruby does the same while counting down from 10.

"What's this about?" Neptune whispered to team JNPR.

Jaune nodded and made Neptune lower his ear. "Oh, they all hate each other so Ruby developed a plan to separate them from hearing because of the damage they can cause."

"Ok, now that you had time to relax, please say your pledge again." Ruby made the others release the tanks and pointed to Tiger.

"Fine... I promise to uphold peace and integrity by not committing dangerous and harmful actions against my... fellow... tanks." With each word for 'fellow tanks,' Tiger felt a burning pain as if his body is rejecting the notion that they could actually be allies to enemies.

"Sooo..." Sun proceeded to switch the topic. "I never took you for the type to play board games." he strikes up a conversation with the hidden Faunus.

"Actually, I think I'm done playing this game. See you." she stood up quickly and left the library, hastened by a troubling matter.

"Darn."

"Heh, pole dancers amirite?" Nora quipped.

A switch was flipped inside Sun Wukong's head. "Ah! So that's what I heard-"

*YEET!*

"Sun!"

After another afternoon of trying to pry the monkey Faunus from the wall. Team RWBY had ended the moment with a chipper tone if you discount Blake.

She'd been moping about like her usual self, and discovering that the organization you fought for and placed your hope in was working for an infamous human criminal was disheartening.

Thoughts of deep sadness cloaked her mind with doubt and unease. This and the unusual carefree feelings of her team made it worse, even after Ruby's sudden increase in 'friends' she felt as if nothing was happening.

Knowing that the headmaster snorts coffee didn't seem to help her confidence in the authorities dealing with the White Fang.

The door swung open and the rest of the team entered their dorms. "I can't believe Tiger could actually hold against Jaune! That's like the most impossible thing!"

"Yang, you just suck at board games."

"Sis, I will start taking away your cookies if you start being able to answer back at me."

"Oh no!" Ruby faked her distress. "I wonder what I will do? Oh yeah! I have these babies with me!" she let out the three tanks in her hand.

"No fair! I don't have any magical tanks with me."

"That's called a skill issue, Yang. Just like your talent in board games, bleh."

Blake noticed their cheeriness, deciding to leave them - she wouldn't want to sour her mood, I guess she's a sour puss Eh? Eh?

"Narrator! That's my thing!" Yang suddenly declared.

"Wait!" Weiss quickly halted the Faunus in question. "You've been acting like a depressed teenager with all-black outfits and heavily shaded eyeliners and eye shadows."

"That's very specific," Yang called out.

"Blake, you've made an important promise to us, to me, to that chair over there! It may not be living but even they have heard what you've said. So! Tell me, Blake Belladonna-"

Weiss grabbed the chair she pointed out, stood up on it, and leaned forward.

"-What's the ma-"

She leaned too much.

"-tter… with… you… ow!"

Everyone felt the pain as Weiss Schnee grabbed her back in pain and hissed at the floor.

"It's just..." Blake started opening up. "Everyone is acting like nothing is happening."

"Is this about Torchwick?"

"Yes, Ruby. Everything, the Fang, Torchwick, maybe even more. A lot of things are going down and no one is there to do anything about it. I know Ozpin told us to not worry but it's not enough."

Weiss finally stood up as she dusted herself off from her fall. "Okay... Let me be the voice of reason."

"You fell off a chair."

"The voice of reason." she continued. "We might have fought, thieves, and terrorists and saved the day and all but we are students. We're not ready for this kind of stuff, and before you say anything Ruby - no."

"But we may never be ready! They're out there committing crimes that go beyond what we can comprehend yet we are here sitting and doing nothing! We don't know what it is but they are!"

"Alright!" Ruby declared. "Who's ready to kick some criminal butt threatening the kingdom of Vale and the world! Say aye!"

"Didn't you hear me? We. Are. Not. Prepared. We're students!" Weiss denied.

"What about students in heavily armoured mobile death machines that can mow down entire regions if we so choose to? Specifically, three that can blow apart any building if you command it to?"

"Okay...The voice of reason agrees." Weiss admitted.

"Then let's get this show on the road! Right, Blake?!"

"Yes, Yang."

"None of you said aye. Let's hatch a plan girls!" Ruby's eyes suddenly widen. "Wait! I left my board game at the library!"

She bolts outside, intending to make it as fast as she could before she bumps into another student. "Oof! Oh, I'm sorry."

"No worries. What got you so rushed?" Mint-green hair came to her sight. Ruby stood up after being offered a hand as she awkwardly explains.

"I just forgot something hehe... Are you guys new students?"

"Visiting from Haven really." A fair-skinned woman with ashen-black hair that covers her left amber eye approached from the back.

Ruby had a confused look before her brain put the pieces in place. "Oh! You're here for the Vytal festival! Your dorms are actually east of this place."

"Thanks, we must have gotten...lost along the way," said Mercury. As Ruby ran to leave his voice echoed once more. "Hey, you left this." he offers a small tank to the girl as she gasps and takes it away in a quick movement.

"I'm sorry! Oh my Brothers I'm such a klutz." she turns around and counts the three tanks before sighing and thanking the trio. "Well, thanks for that. Enjoy the festival!"

"We'll enjoy it indeed."
