A.N.:Finally the chapter that I've been waiting for, I just hope you'll enjoy reading as much as I enjoy writing it!
The next day had arrived, it had only been three months since Bingo's death but it was Bluey's first day at school with everyone knowing what she did and why Bingo died in the first place. Bluey sat in the back of the Heeler car silently as she watched the pass by some friends' houses. "Think you're going to be okay kiddo?" Bandit looked at Bluey through the rearview, he was concerned that his daughter may be bullied for what everyone now knew "You can stay home if you want" Bluey gave him a reassuring nod "I have to be tough" Bandit was a bit glad that she still wanted to go to school and face her problems head on "Yeah I know, but there's nothing wrong with wanting a break from it all" Bluey shook hear head, she was certain that she wanted to go to school, even if they bothered her, she still had some friends who accepted her with open arms. "If it's too much, I'll have a cry, pick myself up, then dust myself off" Bandit smiled, she was definitely Chilli's daughter "You're right, the show must go on"
Bandit pulled up to Glasshouse Primary School and got out of the car with Bluey, the two held hands as they approached the door. Some of the other parents glared at Bluey and Bandit, they wouldn't say it but they still wondered "What's she doing here?" "Doesn't he have any shame after what she did?" Bluey looked to the ground to avoid the eyes of the adults. Bandit reassured her "If it becomes too much and you want to come home, let your teacher know and I'll be here as soon as possible" Bluey nodded "Alright dad, love you" Bandit patted her on the head as they approached Calypso. Calypso had been informed of everything that happened from the other parents but she wasn't going to let this information change the way she treated her precious students "Good morning Bluey, nice to see you today" Bluey smiled at Calypso "Morning Calypso, it's nice to see you too" Bluey let go of her father's hand and walked inside the school. Bandit looked at Calypso "Thanks for not being like the others" He sighed "She really does feel guilty for what she did, and a lot of the other adults are just making it harder for her" he gestured towards the adults behind him that continued to glare. Calypso gave an understanding nod "She's only 7, it's unfortunate enough that she has to deal with this kind of pressure anyway" Bandit watched Bluey walk towards an empty seat "Let me know if anything happens yeah?" She smiled at him "Of course, it's my job to try my best and keep all my kids from any serious problems after all" "Right" Bandit nodded and went back towards his car, however he was stopped by Marcus and some of the other parents "Oi Bandit, you really think you should be bringing her here?" Bandit raised an eyebrow "What do you mean by that mate" Daisy spoke to him "You know exactly what he means, bringing that murderer here, our kids feel threatened by her" Bandit let out a long sigh "Why would they feel threatened by her?" "You know exactly why-" Marcus began to speak. Bandit let out a low chuckle "Okay first Marcus, I'm your superior at work so I think you should chill it, secondly you make it sound like she wanted to kill, third I don't see why it involves any of you, it was my own children that paid the price" Calypso went inside her classroom and promptly closed the door behind her to avoid the students from seeing any of the conflict that was happening outside. "Children?" Winton's father questioned "The only one that paid was your smaller one, Bluey seems fine to me" Bandit clenched his fist and gritted his teeth 'Bluey's fine?" He slowly turn his head towards the english bulldog "Have you been in our house? Watching my daughter cry herself to sleep? Have sleepless nights because her own actions haunt her dreams? Have YOU heard her cry and plead for Bingo to forgive her" Bandit was slowly approaching the group, the rage in his voice growing with each word, he snapped at her before but he regretted it, he never wanted to hurt her and to make it up he would defend her any chance he got. "She's been lonely and more depressed than ever before because of what she did" His voice began to shake, the group of parents began to cower in his presence as they remained silent "I haven't even asked her how she feels about herself because I'm afraid that she'll say she hates herself" Some of the parents started to get his point and they would back up from him "My Bluey is a sweet, wonderful little girl who has to deal with a lot because she had a moment of weakness that will haunt her for the rest of her life" Bandit pushed past the crowd and got into his car "I can understand if your kids do it, because they're just kids, but if any of you so-called mature adults truly believe that a seven year old child deserves isolation for that…THEN YOU CAN ALL GO TO HELL" Bandit made it clear to them, they were basically bullying his child who made a terrible mistake by killing his other child, and she was still trying to recover from her own actions. The adults stood there in silence while Bandit drove off, they were left speechless by his words and got into their own cars before driving away from the school to go about their own days while their kids were in school.
Meanwhile inside the school Bluey waved at some of the others who hadn't shown up to her house the previous day. Most of them gave her a quick glance but ignored her, Bluey sighed, it was enough confirmation for her that the others knew what she did, and that they were not okay with her anymore. "Hi Bluey!" Bluey was a bit surprised but smiled as Jack quickly sat next to her "Guess I'm here before the others?" Bluey nodded "I'm sure they'll be here soon though" Chloe entered the classroom, she was quiet and still upset about what had happened, Honey signaled for Chloe to join her and Coco but she stood at the door for a few seconds, Bluey turned and looked at the dalmatian with a worried look. Chloe looked back at Bluey and the two locked eyes, Bluey was scared that she would be rejected by her own best friend, Chloe took a few steps before smiling at Bluey, she may have been unsure about many things but she was certain about one thing, Bluey needed her. Chloe sat next to Bluey and pulled her into a hug. Bluey's tail wagged as she hugged Chloe back "Thanks" Chloe nodded "What are friends for?" Honey rolled her eyes, if Chloe didn't make it clear yesterday, she made it obviously clear today. Soon afterwards Coco and Honey would be joined by the Terriers, Snickers, Winton, while Bluey, Jack and Chloe were joined by Rusty. Indy walked in and observed the classroom. She looked to her left where she saw Bluey then she looked to her right where she saw Coco. Coco watched in anticipation then disappointment as Indy once again chose Bluey over her "What are friends for?" Indy was deeply hurt by Coco's words, but chose to ignore them, she would stick by Bluey's side. Pretzel entered the classroom to the same view "What?" he scratched his head in confusion from all the tension before Winton walked up and whispered in his ear what was happening "Oh, riiight" Winton walked back over to Coco's side and Pretzel followed, surprising everyone. 'I thought you really wouldn't care, ' Honey told him with a smile "I mean I'm not crazy like them" he pointed his thumb over to Bluey's group. At this point there was a huge gap of space between the two groups as they huddled close to each other. Finally Mackenzie was the last to enter, Coco's eyes lit up. "Hey Mackenzie! Over here with us!" Mackenzie turned to look at Coco, she patted an empty spot on the ground next to her, she was certain he would choose her side. Mackenzie groaned "You're being ridiculous Coco, all of you are" He started to walk towards Bluey's side. "W-what?!" Coco was surprised "This side is better!" Mackenzie sat next to Jack and Rusty giving Bluey a small smile "Don't you know? She killed-" Mackenzie looked at her "I know what she did, she told me when I was at her house yesterday, I arrived late" Coco's eyes opened wide, her pupils visibly shrunk "WHAT? HER HOUSE?!" Snickers put his hand over his mouth, trying to hide his laughter "And she said he wouldn't go" Coco quickly turned towards Snicker "WHAT WAS THAT, SAUSAGE DOG?!" Snickers wanted to laugh but he knew it wouldn't end well, he cleared his throat "Erm…I didn't say anything" Coco sat down, her anger had reached a point where her claws just dug into the mat beneath her "First Indy and now Mackenzie? This isn't fair!" she wouldn't say anymore for the moment
Calypso walked over to her students, she was ad to see them all so divided "All right everyone that's enough" she sat in her seat in front of them "Today is going to be a bit different, you will all be competing in team based games, which means working together" Honey looked at Calypso ``Well there's no way I'm working with Bluey! What if we lose and she hurts me?" Bluey's ears drooped, she wasn't a bad dog, she wouldn't hurt her classmates over losing a game. That's what she wanted to say but she couldn't, getting angry from losing games while playing with Bingo is the very reason why she was paying this heavy price to begin with. Calypso would think for a few seconds, she couldn't make the students work together if they truly didn't want to, and she didn't want Bluey to be uncomfortable. 'Well then, I guess we'll have to do games with teams of two" unknown to the students, she would use this opportunity to see how intense the situation between the two groups had become. "We will play dodgeball, tug of war, and finally we'll have a relay race, whichever team wins two out of the three games will be the winners" Honey raised her hand "Can we have conditions for the victors?"Calypso looked at her with concern "Well I don't think that would be a very good idea, but it depends" Honey looked at Bluey "If our team wins then nobody, not even Bluey's team, is allowed to spend time with Bluey" "WHAT?!" All of Bluey's team shouted in unison, Honey was very smart, maybe even too smart for her own good. "Don't you think that's a bit harsh?" Calypso questioned the young beagle but she only responded with a simple "No" Chloe stood up "I can't agree to that!" Rusty stood next to her "Yeah, that's just bullying her!" Honey had to think quickly "Fine, nobody except me will be allowed to be with Bluey" suddenly both groups spoke in unison "HUH?!" Honey smiled "If Bluey snaps and something happens" she turned and looked at her own group "You'll have to stop her" then she turned and pointed at Rusty "and you guys will see that we were right all along!" Calypso looked at her with concern, this was uncharacteristically mean and judgemental of Honey, something she strongly discouraged in her class "Honey, please, do you really think that I'd allow that" Bluey stood up before Honey could answer "I agree to those terms, but if we win, you'll have to play with me again" Mackenzie spoke "Bluey no! We don't want to leave you alone" Jack agreed "It's very miserable being by yourself" Coco grabbed Bluey's hand in place of Honey "It's a deal" the two shook hands as Calypso sighed, this was not how she envisioned class going and it seemed to be getting worse every minute but it seemed pointless to try to dissuade either side now even more so since Bluey had agreed to their terms. Dan nudged Joe "Know what this reminds me of?" Joe smiled and nodded as if reading his brother's mind "Captain Australia: Civil War?" Dan nodded in return
The students all walked outside towards the field they usually played in, Calypso carried a bag carrying dodgeballs inside. Everyone stepped inside the football field Calypso spoke the rules to them "Each team enters the field with the same number of teammates, any extras must sit on the sidelines and are able to substitute any active players, now I'll explain the way to get a player out. Option one, a player must hit someone on the opposite side of the field with a ball they threw, below the shoulders. Option two, catching a ball thrown by someone from the opposite side of the field, however if you fail to catch the ball you are out. Option three, kicking the dodgeball at someone on the opposite team and trying to get them out will cause the kicker to be eliminated, however you can kick the ball towards a teammate to pass to them." The students nodded, Coco watched Bluey like a hawk, she didn't hide her intentions to target Bluey any chance she got. Bluey stared back at Coco, even though Coco stayed silent, Bluey knew she would have to do her best to survive against the poodle.
"Coco, Calypso says we can only have six people on the field at a time, who sits on the sidelines?" Honey asked. Coco thought for a second and smiled "Winton and Snickers can sit this one out, I have an idea" Coco leaned forward towards Honey and whispered into her ear. Honey nodded and ran to tell the rest of their team. Indy walked over to Bluey "Bluey, are you sure we can win this? I mean I'd feel awful about leaving you about yourself" Bluey nodded "I'm not a monster, and if I lose I need them to see that, also Honey will be with me" Indy nodded "Oh yeah, well hopefully we win these ""Hey Bluey!" Coco called her from across the field, Bluey turned to listen "Let's only do one match, is that alright with you?" Bluey thought about it, it would get these over with faster "It's fine with me!" Within minutes Coco, Honey, and The Terriers, and Pretzel stood on one side of the field, and Bluey, Indy, Rusty, Chloe, Jack and Mackenzie stood on the other. Calypso set only three balls in between both teams "Alright, when I blow the whistle race to grab a ball, and start throwing but remember below the shoulders only, if you aim for the head, you are disqualified" Calypso brought the whistle up to her lips, she looked at both teams, they had their eyes locked on each other.
The tensions were high enough, while she didn't say what she was thinking, Calypso really hoped Bluey's team would win and hopefully restore the peace they all once shared together. After about 10 seconds Calypso blew the whistle, all members of both teams sprinted towards the small red orbs that lay on the field before them. Coco slowed down and spread her arms to slow her team, allowing Bluey's team to grab all three "Hey! What are you doing Coco?!" Pretzel complained he was confused about what she was doing. Coco only brought a finger to her lips"Shh" Chloe, Jack, and Indy each had a ball in their hands, Coco's team turned around and ran to get some space. Almost in perfect sync, the three tossed their balls at Honey, who gasped in surprise. Honey had flinched, the balls had hit…"Nobody?!" Coco called out of surprise. Honey opened her eyes to see Snickers the balls had somehow missed the poor Beagle. Calypso was surprised to see the amount of teamwork from Bluey's side "Nobody, out" she called. Snickers walked slowly to the sidelines "You guys got this!" Snickers cheered them on. Suddenly Honey picked up one of the balls, Pretzel picked up the second, and Joe picked up the third. Bluey gulped, now their team had to survive. Honey tossed her ball at Bluey with amazing speed. Bluey closed her eyes and stretched out her hands in front of her by instinct then she felt the ball touch her arms but what she heard from Calypso surprised her "Honey, out" Honey gasped a bit"W-what?!" Everyone turned their heads to see Bluey had caught the ball in her panic, Honey was disappointed but chose to abide by the rules and walked to the sidelines to join Snickers and Winton. Bluey smiled a bit and prepared to pick her target. Joe tossed his ball towards Jack, Jack seeing the ball come towards him quickly turned, Indy pulled Jack out of the way and soon enough the ball whiffed past him, Joe grunted in frustration. "Thanks Indy" Jack smiled before she could respond they both her a ball bounce off one of their teammates "Rusty, out" The red kelpie walked past them and gave Jack a fist bump "Get 'em for me, and for Bluey" they both nodded "For Bluey" they responded. Chloe had asked Bluey for the ball "I think if we all threw them at the same time again we could probably get someone else out" Bluey wasn't sure "I don't know but…just remember, it's okay to miss" Chloe turned towards Jack and Indy who had also picked up their balls she mouthed to them "Coco" they both nodded having understood "Now!" Suddenly Coco had three balls flying towards her but instead of flinch like Honey did before her she smirked "Terriers! Tortoise formation!" Bluey's eyes widened "What?" it was as if she was watching in slow motion, they had seen the tortoise formation before. The Terriers ran in front of Coco with Dan and Adam standing side-by-side and Joe standing on their shoulders. All three stretched out their hands and perfectly caught the balls thrown at Coco. Bluey's team eyes widened, nobody would've ever expected such a plan from Coco. Calypso was distracted by the genius strategy then she suddenly remembered "Er…Chloe, Indy, Jack, out!" They lost three members in a single move Chloe dropped to her knees "I….I'm sorry Bluey, I" Bluey turned and smiled at her "It's fine" Adam took the time to throw his ball at Bluey with her back turned. Mackenzie dashed in front of her and caught the ball, reducing the brothers to two "Eyes open Bluey!" Bluey was surprised "O-oh right!" "Adam, out!" Dan growled "Take this!" he threw his ball at Mackenzie who held his ball out in front of himself. Dan's ball collided with Mackenzie, however it bounced off and hit Dan in his face. The ball then rolled back to Bluey's side. Dan fell to the ground and Mackenzie turned to Calypso "That's not on me right?" Calypso shook her head "Nope, Dan, self-elimination" Adam walked over and picked up his brother, the two of them were now on the sidelines. On Coco's team remained Coco, Joe, and Pretzel, on Bluey's remained Bluey and Mackenzie. Mackenzie prepared to throw his ball towards Coco. Coco panicked and had to think she looked around for something to save her, soon enough something caught her eye, something smaller than her and could block her. Mackenzie threw his ball Coco reached down and picked up Joe "Sorry about this!" Joe panicked as the ball hit him in the chest and bounced back to Bluey's feet. Everyone had gasped, Dan and Adam were not happy about Coco's decision "Coco!" they both shouted at her in unison, in her desperation she made Joe into a doggy meat shield. "I'm sorry" Joe was understandably peeved 'Why didn't you just dodge? It's dodgeball!" Coco sighed "I promise I'll repay you for this somehow, but Calypso didn't say anything against this in the rules" Calypso was disappointed with Coco's behavior even if she was right, no such rule was stated "Joe, out" Joe walked to the sidelines with his brothers, both teams now only had two members left. "Alright everyone, set your balls down" Calypso called to them. They did as they were instructed and set the three balls on the floor. Calypso walked onto the field and set a fourth ball in front of Coco, who was now the only one without a ball "Since there are only four players left, each player on field can now have a ball, good luck!" She walked off the field and returned to her original position and blew her whistle again "Resume!". Coco glared at Bluey and smiled "Bluey! I hope you like being lonely!" Bluey stared at her ball "Why Coco? What did I do to you?" she looked up at Coco. Coco gazed into Bluey's eyes expecting to see anger behind them, she was surprised however, she didn't see rage or anger, all she saw was sadness. Coco shook her head and readied herself "You're dangerous, I don't trust you around anyone!" Mackenzie decided that Coco and Bluey's squabble was only between them, he looked at Pretzel who was only smiling at him "I hope you're ready to lose Kiwi boy!" Mackenzie smiled "You should be telling that to yourself shorty" Pretzel's smile faded upon being called short, he wasn't even the shortest in their class. The two boys threw their dodgeballs at each other, Mackenzie first, Pretzel simply ducked under it "Being short has some advantages, amigo!" He threw his ball at Mackenzie, it narrowly missed, just being an inch away from his shoulder. Mackenzie's eyes widened, if he hadn't dodged just then he would've been out for sure. "If they're left with you, they end up just like her!" Coco took aim at Bluey. Bluey almost perfectly mirrored Coco's aim "Like who?" she squinted. Coco gained a devilish grin on her face that would send shivers down Bluey's spine "Like….Bingo!" She threw her ball with all her might towards Bluey. Her words surprised but angered Bluey at the same time "You, weren't there!" likewise, Bluey used all the strength her 7-year-old body could muster and threw her ball at Coco. Both balls passed by each other with almost blinding speed, Coco's eyes widened, she stretched her arms out to catch Bluey's ball but the ball went in between her arms and straight to her chest, Bluey had no time to react, she turned and Coco's ball hit her back. The rest of the class gasped at the insane match "Coco! Bluey! Out!" Both girls had eliminated each other at the same time. All that remained were Pretzel and Mackenzie with both of their teams cheering them on to win. "You know, I was really hoping you would have been on our side Pretzel, I know we dont talk much but you seem like a fun guy" Pretzel smiled at Mackenzie "Thanks, but I choose to not side with killers" Mackenzie grew angry and threw his ball at Pretzel,"She didn't mean it!" Pretzel dodged it and smirked then pointed at Mackenzie's feet. Mackenzie looked down and realized his mistake, all of the dodgeballs were now on Pretzel's side of the field! Pretzel aimed his ball at Mackenzie "eres mi alimento y disfrutaré cada bocado [you are my food, and I will enjoy every bite]" Mackenzie tilted his head, he never heard Pretzel speak spanish before, nor did he understand it "Uh…what?" Pretzel threw the first ball at Mackenzie, he barely managed to dodge. It was as if Pretzel had become far better at aiming. Pretzel laughed and threw another ball at Mackenzie, then the third, both missed and Mackenzie ducked to grab one of them. "Mackenzie! No!" Rusty yelled trying to warn his friend. This would prove to be Mackenzie's mistake, in the short time it took for him to reach for the ball Pretzel threw the fourth and final ball, once Mackenzie had returned to his neutral position he felt it, the ball would hit him in his stomach. "Mackenzie, out! Coco's team wins!" Mackenzie gasped, how could anyone move so fast? Coco's team all cheered and ran onto the field, they lifted Pretzel and cheered. Mackenzie hung his head and walked over to his team "I'm sorry guys, I really tried my best" Jack put his hand on Mackenzie's shoulder "No worries mate, we could still win this for Bluey, only two games left!"
Indy smiled "Don't worry everyone, Calypso said the next game is tug-of-war I have the perfect idea" Bluey and the others gave their attention to Indy "Have any of you seen this show called Octopus Games?" Chloe instantly knew what she was talking about "Oh that show on the tv app thing? I wanted to watch it but my dad won't let me, he says it has too much scary stuff and my mum says it isn't for kids" Indy nodded "My mum wont let me watch it either but she did let me see this one episode where they were playing tug-of-war and the old dog had a great idea" Rusty was curious to know "Well what did he do?" Indy giggled and poked his nose "I'll let you know when it's time" Rusty nodded, the suspense was killing him but he'd have to wait until it was time for the next game to start. Both groups followed Calypso around to the front of the school and she stopped near the area where the kids would play barky boats, she then picked up an old, but long jump rope and held it in her hands "Before I give this to you you all need to know, you can only hold the rope with your hands, you cannot use your teeth and you absolutely cannot wrap the rope around any arms or legs, this is so nobody gets hurt, if anyone is caught doing so they will be disqualified and their team will have to continue without them, sound fair?" The class spoke in unison "Yes, Calypso!" She nodded and handed one end of the rope to Bluey and the other end of the rope to Coco, Coco stood on one end of the small dam and Bluey on the other "Your goal is to make the other person get their foot into the water, or let go of the rope, you may call on whoever you want, from your own team to help you but you can only have one person help at a time, and no dirty tricks!" She looked at Coco, thinking of how she had lifted Joe earlier to avoid getting hit. Coco chuckled sheepishly as if she didn't know what Calypso was talking about. "Ready?" She lifted the whistle to her lips and blew into it, signifying the girls to begin. The two girls began to tug with all their might trying to make the other budge, but to no effect, Coco then turned her head "Honey!" Honey nodded and grabbed the end of their side of the rope and pulled, Bluey was starting to slide "Indy!" Indy did the same and helped pull Bluey back a little. Bluey grunted and whispered to Indy "Wish you…told us what happened in the…show!" Indy's eyes widened "Right…sorry" Indy moved closer to Bluey's ear and whispered so nobody from Coco's team could hear "The trick is to plant your feet into the ground and lean back when you pull, your weight will make it harder for them!" Bluey gasped and nodded "Tell the others Indy…I can hold it for a little!" Bluey groaned trying to keep Coco and Honey's combined strength from pulling her towards the water. After she was sure Indy told Rusty she looked at him "Rusty!" Rusty quickly ran and grabbed the rope. Coco was sliding forward then she let out a grunt and looked at Honey "Go back…I need…Winton!" Honey let go of the rope "Right, boss!" Honey ran back to the rest of her group and Winton joined Coco at the rope and began to pull. "Now Bluey?" Rusty tried his best to help her pull Coco and Winton back towards the dam "Not…yet" Coco and Winton were inching towards the dam "Come on Winton….put your back..into it!" Winton growled and started to pull "We bulldogs…are a…strong…breed!" for a second it seemed as if Winton was able to pull all three dogs back on his own. Bluey squinted and looked at Rusty, she was able to speak through her clenched teeth "Now!" the two of them angled their legs and leaned backwards in unison, copying the advice they had heard from Indy. Suddenly, they stopped moving forward. Coco looked on with her eyes widened "What? That's…not fair!" Bluey smiled, "It's not…against the rules Coco!" Calypso added "And it's not playing dirty". Winton grunted, before he knew it the rope was beginning to slip out his hands "Coco, I'm sorry!" Winton had burned through his energy and the rope came out his hands. The sudden change made it harder for Coco to keep her balance "Wha?!" before she could comprehend what was happening, the rope came out of her hands and her foot slid into the water, Bluey and Rusty lost their balance and both fell over backwards, Coco was disappointed, she had lost. "Bluey's team wins!" Calypso cheered for the victorious team. "Alright Indy!" Bluey cheered "And to Indy's mum!" Rusty added to their small celebration. "To Indy's mum!" the rest of them joined in. Coco looked at Indy with sadness, her best friend and they were on opposite sides of this whole situation, if Indy was on her side they would have won the second game and wouldn't be bothered with Bluey anymore. Coco was determined to win the third game, she didn't want anyone around Bluey any longer "The next one is a race correct?" Coco asked teacher nodded "It is, and it's going to require three teammates" Coco was thinking about who she would have help her in the race "Well where are we going?" Calypso looked to the back of the school "In that field and the finish line is down the hill where Rusty and Jack like to play army" Coco wanted to think of who would best be suited for this last game "Through the field and down the hill huh?" finally it hit her and she laughed "Down the hill…perfect" Coco walked over to Snickers "Hey Snickers, how are you in races?" Snickers thought about it for a second "I don't think I'm too good, my sausage dog leds and long body make it a bit hard" Coco patted his back "Worry not, you're going to be the most important player in this game of ours" Snickers raised an eyebrow, how is he the most important? "Well…If you say so Coco"
The small group had walked behind the school, each group having won one of Calypso's games and now desperate to win this one for the tie breaker and the decider of Bluey's fate amongst her classmates.``Hey look, this is where we play army!" Jack smiled at Rusty, the place had great significance to the pair. Rusty smiled back at him "I told ya that you could be good at remembering if you tried" Rusty replied. Once everyone had gathered together Calypso had begun to speak again "Now that Bluey's team and Coco's team have one point each, this will be the tie-breaker." Bluey and Coco looked at each other, both determined to win. Calypso continued "There will be two teams of three, the first runner will run up this hill, they then will have to touch the hand of the second runner who will run across the hill, and finally after the second runner touches the hand of the third runner, they will run down the hill and to the finish line, the first person who gets any of their body across the finish line will be declared the winner for their team, the only rule is: no cheating in any way" Calypso took small flags out her bag and walked on the path where the runners had to go, setting each flag 30 meters apart. "Leaders, choose your team" Bluey went to her group "I'll be first, Mackenzie should be second, and…" She looked at her group to see who their final runner should be. Jack excitedly raised his and "It should be me! I can run really fast!" Rusty nodded "He can! He ran fast when we had to retreat!" Bluey nodded "Alright, me, Mackenzie and Jack, we can do this!" Coco smiled "Well I have an idea of who will be third" she looked over at Snickers, who was still a bit confused "But who will be second?" Honey excitedly raised her hand "Put me in! I want to run" Coco nodded "Right so I'll go first, then Honey and Snickers last" "Snickers?! Are you joking?" asked Joe "His legs aren't as long as the rest of ours!" Coco reassured him "Maybe his legs don't need to be the thing that crosses the finish line" This had confused the rest of Coco's team. Coco whispered to Snickers as they walked away, Snickers nodded suddenly becoming certain of his victory. Once all six runners were in their respective starting points Calypso raised her whistle "Remember, no cheating!" Bluey and Coco looked at each other one last time before they heard the whistle behind them. Both runners sprinted up the hill with everything they had "Ready…to give up Heeler?" Coco spoke to Bluey as they ran, the path upwards was not an easy one but neither of them were willing to give up "No! I want my friends back…I want to be friends with you, Coco!" Coco had gained the lead "You want…to hurt us, once a killer…ALWAYS a killer" Coco's words hurt Bluey but she wouldn't let them get to her, not now "I…don't want to hurt ANYONE!" Bluey was now more determined to reach Mackenzie and started to get ahead of Coco, soon enough she reach him and tagged his hand, she bent over trying to catch her breath "Go…go Mackenzie!" The Border Collie nodded and began to sprint towards where Jack would be waiting. Coco groaned out of anger, she lost her race to Bluey and touched Honey's hand "Do your best to get to Snickers!" Coco smiled and ran off towards him. With their race finished Bluey faced Coco ``Why are you being like this?" Coco turned towards Bluey and gritted her teeth "I don't trust you, I cant trust you! You're a monster" Bluey's ears drooped "I…am not a monster" Coco looked at her "Then why…why'd you kill sweet innocent Bingo? She was your only sister! All you do is hurt people" Bluey was trying not to tear up "It…was an accident" Coco had looked away "And I bet it would be an accident if you took Indy and Mackenzie away too huh?" Bluey sighed "I won't hurt them, I promise" Coco crossed her arms and stuck her nose upward, refusing to listen to Bluey any longer. Mackenzie and Honey managed to stay neck and neck with each other in the race and even managed to tag their third runners at the same time. Jack smiled as he dashed down the hill, quickly gaining the lead over Snickers. Coco shouted from her place "Snickers! Now!" Snickers was running the best he could but once he heard Coco's voice he remembered what she said "Calypso said any part of your body, that means your legs don't have to cross the finish line, If you find yourself losing, roll down the hill!" Snickers tossed his hat off and laid on the ground "Sausage dog…roll!" It was the same trick he once used against the Terriers when he, Winton, and Bluey were trying to find Calypso. He was starting to roll down the hill at increasing speed, surprising everyone "Huh?" Jack watched as Snickers had rolled past him. Jack's run turned into a sprint as he tried his best to catch up, soon he was on all fours just to even give himself a chance. He was getting close to Snickers but suddenly he heard a whistle blow, they had gone way past the finish line! Snickers managed to stop rolling, he and Jack stopped and looked towards Calypso "It would appear that…Coco's team are the winners!" Calypso sighed but there was nothing she could do "They won 2 out of three games!" Coco turned her head and smirked at Bluey "Guess you'll be by yourself now" Coco ran off to join her team in their victory celebration. Bluey stood in place on the hill, her team lost again, Chloe walked over to Bluey and put her hand on Bluey's shoulder "I'm so sorry Bluey" she was soon joined by the rest of her team, who all had sad looks on their faces, they didn't want to leave her behind. "No…I agreed, I'll be okay guys, honest!"
Indy hugged Bluey "I don't know what's gotten into Coco, but please don't be angry with her" Bluey nodded "I'm not, but now I really wish I didn't agree" Honey walked over to the group "Hey everyone, you all have to go without group now, your team lost" They all looked at Bluey before reluctantly walking away. Honey sighed "Looks like I'm stuck with you then huh?" Bluey just sighed and walked away, not saying a word to Honey. Coco smiled at the group that was suddenly approaching her "Indy!" She ran over and hugged the Afghan Hound "Coco…" Indy wasn't as enthusiastic as Coco had been "Can't you see Bluey is harmless?" Coco had ignored what Indy was saying "We should play something, maybe Wild Girls again?" Indy sighed "I don't feel like playing anything right now" the members of Bluey's group sat solemnly at the bottom of the hill. Calypso couldn't think of anything to say to anyone, she herself felt helpless, she could encourage them to let Bluey's actions go, but they all decided to abide by their agreement.
The long lonely hours passed and soon enough it was time for everyone to go home, the students parents each arrived at the school, they would chat with each other but quickly become silent when they saw Bandit's car pull up. Bandit didn't even glance at any of the other parents that he had saw earlier in the morning, he did however speak to the few parents whose kids had nothing against Bluey, he was glad that some of the other adults were being reasonable. He would enter the classroom and look around for Bluey, then he would find her sitting by herself in the corner."I asked her if she wanted me to call you or her mum to pick her up" Calypso began to explain to Bandit "But she told me no and that a bad dog like herself deserved every second of this" Bandit's eyes widened, did she really believed that she deserved to be away from everyone else? Calypso then explained to Bandit the events of the day, how Bluey made a deal with Coco and how Calypso didn't agree to any of it herself but she couldn't force anything onto the students. Bandit understood "I don't hold anything against you ma'am" He sighed and walked over to Bluey "Hey kid" Bluey wouldn't even turn to face her father, she just waved sadly without saying a word. Bandit picked her up and carried her out of the classroom, she seemed so broken. Her team watched and quietly waved to Bluey, they hated this more than she did. Mackenzie looked at Indy "We need to do something about this, and about Coco" Indy nodded "I agree, nobody deserves that!" Bandit sat Bluey in her seat and waited for her to buckle herself in, once she did he started the car "Bluey, you know they aren't being fair to you" Bluey shook her head "But I agreed to this, I wanted them to know I'm not a monster" Bandit looked at her "But you aren't a monster Bluey, you're just a little kid" Bluey remained silent "Sounds like you had a big day playing all those games, I'll get you an ice cream, sound good?" Bluey slowly nodded her head. In the following minutes Bandit drove to an ice cream parlor and bought a cone for Bluey in an attempt to cheer her up, not long after they arrived home and Bandit pulled Chilli aside to speak with her about Bluey.
Bluey would aimlessly walk through the house and towards the backyard, her memories of Bingo flooded her mind. She would sit on the stairs to the backyard and stare at the tree followed by her taking a lick of her ice cream. "Looks like you had a bad day huh?" Bluey would turn to her left to see Chucky standing to her side with another smile on his face. Bluey was confused "Didn't you say you hated me?" Chucky nodded "Oh I do, a lot" Bluey sulked and took another lick out of her ice cream "Then shouldn't you go away?" Chucky laughed and sat next to her "Well I will but first I wanted to tell you, there is a way for you to make things better, for your pain to go away" Bluey was confused but looked at Chucky "and how can that happen?" Chucky smiled "It's really simple, but you have to do exactly what I say"
During these minutes Chilli walked out her room after talking to Bandit, she wanted to talk to Bluey to cheer her up and make her feel better, she began to walk towards Bluey's room but something struck her as very odd the closer she got to Bluey's door, she saw someone enter Bluey's room, someone with a red tail and not a blue one "Huh?" nobody else should be in their home. "Psst Bandit!" Chilli called her husband over to her "Coming!" He responded and quickly went over to his wife "I think someone's in there" she pointed towards Bluey's room. They quietly walked towards the door together Bandit placed his hand on the door and looked at Chilli, the two nodded at each other and Bandit slowly turned the knob and began to open the door, Chilli called to their daughter "Bluey….are you okay?" upon the door opening, both parents gasped, completely shocked at what they would find inside the room.
