"Buddy? What's going on?" Gruber asked as the fawn pug walked closer to him "Why didn't the boss tell me?" Buddy put his hand on Gruber's chest "Well you see, my boss entrusted this to me personally" Gruber looked at him confused. "Also, last I checked, weren't you told to not come near this area?" Gruber gulped "Well yeah but-" "So what business do you have here?" Gruber sighed "I came here…to repay the favor" Buddy nodded "I see" Gruber nodded "I hope that boss isn't upset with-" in only a short amount of time, Buddy kicked Pretzel in his stomach, and made him stubble backwards, he then grabbed the knife that had been in front of Pretzel, then stabbed Gruber right beneath his stomach. Gruber gasped and looked at the dog in front of him, who had an emotionless expression on his face "B-Buddy?!" Buddy then smirked and pulled the knife out. "What are you doing? Aren't you supposed to be his friend?!" Bluey asked. Buddy laughed "I'm not his friend, I don't make friends" Gruber dropped to his knees and placed his hands over his wounds "W-why?" Buddy lifted Gruber's head with the tip of the blade "Because my boss wanted you dead, and as long as I get paid, I'll do whatever" Gruber had tears in his eyes "So our friendship? The laughs we shared?" Buddy scoffed "I'm a good actor aren't I?" Buddy laughed and walked away, carrying the bloody blade with him. Gruber fell over on his back and began to lose consciousness "Shitty life….shitty…death" Gruber said before he would completely pass out. Buddy laughed as he got into the truck and drove off.

"No you don't!" Pretzel would frantically run in Mackenzie's house "Please, keep pressure on his wound so he doesn't bleed out!" Pretzel yelled. Bluey walked over to the unconscious, dying dog and kneeled before looking at Mackenzie "I won't tell you to let him die…that would be as bad as if I killed him myself" Bluey smiled then placed her hands on Gruber's would, it felt gross and weird but she wasn't just going to let him die. Gruber would whine lightly and sniffle a little "Mum…mum…why did you leave me?...I'm so sorry mum…" Bluey felt bad for the dog, knowing that he wished so badly to have someone he would never get the chance to meet, and knowing that he was not as fortunate as she was, to have a loving father who would never raise a hand to her. "Why won't you love me dad? What did I do wrong?" he uttered. Bluey began to tear up "Come on…Pretzel, he's suffered enough already" It wouldn't be long before Pretzel would run out with a razor and a piece of metal "Outta the way Bluey!" Pretzel yelled. Once Bluey moved Pretzel wasted no time to shave the fur away from his wound "You might want to go wash your hands" Pretzel told Bluey as she looked at her hands.

Bluey gasped once she saw the blood, she had a flashback to when she was in the desert. "Bluey…Bluey!" she quickly snapped out of it thanks to Mackenzie, who had shook her "Sorry, what?" Mackenzie gently led her to the sink and put some soap in her hands "You okay?" he asked. Bluey shook her head "Everytime I see it on me…I'm reminded of when I was in the desert" Mackenzie nodded "You mean, the blood?" She nodded "I…I never meant to hurt those animals…I was just so hungry…" she said. Mackenzie hugged her once she finished "Look, it's alright, you aren't a monster for trying to survive" Bluey looked at him "But they deserved to live" Mackenzie nodded "If it wasn't you, some other animal probably would have given them a much more cruel, painful death" "Y-you're right" Bluey said. Soon they heard loud pained screaming coming from outside. They would both quickly run to see what was happening.

Once outside, they saw Pretzel pressing the piece of metal onto Gruber's wound, he was screaming and squirming, but Pretzel kept the piece on him "What are you doing?!" Bluey asked. Pretzel sighed "I'm cauterizing it! I know the pain is unimaginable and I'm surprised he's reacting like this while unconscious, but if I don't…he won't make it until we can get him to a hospital" Pretzel sounded genuinely worried for the german shepherd that he had threatened less than ten minutes ago. "Por favor, perdóname Gruber" Pretzel said as he was forced to listen to Gruber's screams, he nearly began to cry as he knew that those seconds must have felt like absolute torture. Soon, he quickly lifted the metal off the dog who was now breathing heavily. Pretzel felt bad at the sight of the melted flesh he was now looking at, but he knew it was for the best. Gruber was shaking from the pain as Pretzel began to lift him "What are you doing?" Mackenzie asked. "I need to get him to a hospital so he can receive proper medical attention" Mackenzie helped him and they would sit him in the backseat of Pretzel's car "You two should stay inside, keep your doors locked, we don't know if they will be back or not also warn the others, we don't know why this is happening" They both nodded and went inside. Pretzel would speed away in his car knowing he had no time to waste for Gruber.

Once they were inside and their doors were locked, Mackenzie pulled out his phone and tried calling Jack…who wouldn't answer. Mackenzie felt dread before he called Coco, who did answer. "Hello?" Coco asked. "Coco, are Indy, Jack and Rusty okay?" Coco took a second "Well, Indy and Rusty are fine, Jack is at the station right now…what's up?" Mackenzie let out a sigh of relief "Look, Lucky, Chucky, Judo and Lila were all kidnapped" "WHAT?!" Coco yelled, getting Rusty and Indy to ask her what was going on. "Pretzel said that it would be best to make sure your doors are locked, and it's for the best, these dogs took everyone in just a matter of minutes!" Mackenzie said. "Alright, I'll get in touch with Snickers and Winton" Coco said "Yeah, and Bluey is telling Winnie and Chloe as well, if you get to talk to Jack, let him know as soon as possible" he said before hanging up.

Bluey stared at the table in front of her, before Mackenzie sat next to her "I'm sure they will be alright. Maybe when Jack finds out, he can get some help and search for the others" Bluey nodded without looking at him "Did you tell Chloe and Winnie?" he asked. Bluey simply nodded again "Yeah I warned them" Mackenzie tilted his head "Bluey, you need to have hope for them" Buey looked at him after realizing what she was doing "Oh no it's not that…I just had something else on my mind" He looked at her a bit worried "I'm not in trouble am I?" She smiled lightly "For what?" Mackenzie shrugged "Well what's on your mind?" Bluey shook her head "I'll tell you later, I promise" Mackenzie smiled "Alright, well then I hope it will be good news" Bluey would get up and make some tea to help calm her nerves, she would make another cup for Mackenzie in case he wanted some as well.

Some hours later the sun had begun to set, the two would hear a knock on the door. Mackenzie would approach the door slowly with Bluey behind him. He would then move to the window next to the door and slowly pull on the curtain only to be greeted by another dog standing right at the window with a big smile on their face. Mackenzie would jump back and nearly fall over from the surprise "Winton? What?" Mackenzie would then open the door and almost get trampled by his group of friends. "What are you all doing here?" Bluey asked. "Well when we were all aware of the situation we all decided it would be best for us to stay together as a large group" Indy said "So after we had everyone, we made our way here" Rusty said. "Or make it easier for whoever is kidnapping us to collect us all at once" Chloe sighed. "Collect 'em all? We aren't some toys for someone to play with" Winton responded. "Yeah besides you came with us anyway!" Snickers added. "W-well it would be scary to not to!" Chloe said with a blush "Besides, I wanted to talk to Bluey about some things" Mackenzie looked around "Hey, where's Jack?" "Oh he's busy for another two hours, but we told him where we will be". Coco said. "Where's Pretzel, I thought you mentioned him?" Winnie asked. "Oh…he took Gruber to hospital" Bluey said "GRUBER?!" Rusty, Indy, and Coco all asked in unison. Mackenzie nodded "He was stabbed by the same people that hired him!" "You mean, he had nothing to do with Calypso getting taken?" Rusty asked. Mackenzie shook his head "He had no idea what was going on" "Have you heard anything about my stepbros? I hate for their mom to be so worried" Winton asked. Bluey sighed "Sorry Winton, they didn't say anything" Winton would sigh

"I feel like we should try to find out who is hunting us" Rusty said. "Yeah, but how do we do that when we don't know when they'll strike or where they will strike?" Indy said. "We also don't know who and why they're going after" Coco added. The group sat quietly "Man…we really have been through some odd things over the years" Snickers said. The others nodded "You would never guess that we were against Bluey at some point with the way things are now" Winton said. "Hey don't bring that up, you will make me feel bad and I have already apologized to Bluey for the way I was treating her" Coco said. Bluey smiled "You shouldnt I already told you that I was over it" "What is that?" Chloe asked Winton who was holding a small plush of Honey "Oh this, it's a Honey the Huntress doll" He said with a smile. "A what?" Rusty asked. Snickers sighed and facepalmed "I told you not to buy that" Winton laughed "It was cute!" Snickers "Ten dollars is not worth it, besides I'm willing to bet the only reason Honey would talk to any of us these days would be an attempt to get us to buy her merchandise" Rusty nodded "I bet if she wasn't in Russia right now, and here in Brisbane, she'd be telling us some long story then saying something about how she would give us a discount for being her friends in the past" Bluey looked at him confused "You really think she'd stoop that low?" Rusty nodded "Lots of celebs have spoken to past friends just to make a quick buck, mark my words if we see her again she will try convincing you to buy something of hers"

Mackenzie groaned "Wait, don't tell me that means you're all going to sleep over here" Bluey giggled "Why not?" Mackenzie shrugged "Because then I can't get in my snuggle time" Bluey smiled "You will live" Mackenzie shook his head and groaned louder "No! I need Bluey snuggles!" Bluey rolled her eyes then smirked "All right, fine, you'll get your snuggles with a blue dog" Mackenzie smiled at her then heard another knock on the door. Similar to before, Mackenzie looked out the window and saw…nobody "Uh?" He slowly opened the door, then he would be approached by a large Saint Bernard "W-wait Hercules?!" Mackenzie asked, panicked. Hercules had smiled at Mackenzie "How's it going lion tamer?" Mackenzie backed up a bit "O-oh you know, it's going pretty good" Winton walked over to the larger dog "I hired him to be extra security!" Hercules nodded "Don't worry, I won't spin you around" Mackenzie smiled and sighed. "For now" Hercules said with a smirk. Mackenzie's eyes widened as he gulped. Hercules saw Coco then waved "Ah, so the lion tamer really did marry the acrobat I see" Coco and Mackenzie looked at each other awkwardly. "Actually, the lion tamer and the ringmaster are in love" Bluey said with a bit of sterness in her voice. "So I know Honey is famous and is all over the place these days so what happened to…Bingo?" Hercules asked. The room fell silent for a minute before Coco whispered in his ear "She…passed years ago in some kind of accident" Hercules looked a little sad "Oh…I'm sorry I didn't know" Bluey shook her head "it's fine, it's not like you're around us anyway" she said with a small smile.

"Hey Indy, are there still some things you can't eat?" Winnie asked her. Indy shook her head "No, that was only when I lived with my mum, I love her a lot but I'm so glad I don't have to live by her rules…when I'm not with her" the two girls laughed at her comment while Snickers, Coco, and Indy walked to the kitchen "Hey wait, don't take my apples!" Mackenzie said following them. "Chill, we brought our own ingredients and snacks" Snickers said. Bluey grabbed Rusty's arm "I need your help with a little something" she said with a grin. "Oh do I finally get a sweet taste of some blueberry juice?" he said with a wink. Mackenzie, Indy, and Bluey all glanced at him, unamused by his obvious sexual joke. Rusty then laughed sheepishly "Sorry, what did you need help with?" Bluey whispered in his ear and the two laughed "oh yeah, definitely sounds like fun" they then walked away together. "I have a feeling I should be a bit concerned with that…I'll just hope it's nothing" Mackenzie said.

While most of the dogs did their own things, Hercules would occasionally look outside the window and even go outside to check on any suspicious behavior. "Seen anything yet?" Snickers asked. "Nah, everything seems pretty quiet in this neighborhood" Hercules responded. "So, what do you usually do anyway?" Snickers asked him. "Well besides security work, I race motorbikes" "Do you ever get nervous? I mean I've heard about fatal accidents all the time in racing sports" Winton asked. Hercules shook his head "I know it's dangerous, but it's always been a thrill to me. Also my jumps don't get up and decide that they want to be clowns" Snickers looked at him confused "Huh?" Winton laughed "Yeah, but I'm sure those jumps also don't get bored" Hercules nodded "Fair point" Snickers leaned on Winton "What are you two talking about anyway?" Winton looked at Snickers "Hercules was a bully!" Hercules's eyes widened "Hey, let's forget all that stuff!" Coco walked over "We were playing circus one day, and Hercules made me, Winton, and Bingo be his jumps" "B-but I was the strongman for your circus!" he said, defending himself "how did you two even become a couple?" he asked Snickers "Well, we were fifteen at the time, Winton was depressed since his mother had moved far away and his dad was married to a different lady" Winton nodded "We talked about a few things, had a few laughs, looked into each other's eyes then-" "We fell in love" Snickers finished while staring at Winton with a smile. Coco smiled "You two are adorable" Hercules smiled "That…wasn't very detailed but I'll take it" he said as he shrugged "Do you have a special someone?" Coco asked. Hercules blushed "Well no but there is a certain dog I'm interested in" "Go on, give us the details" Winton said excitedly. Hercules rolled his eyes "You little hypocrite…her name is Sadie, she's a husky and I want to ask her out when I get the chance next time" "Go for it, you will never know if you don't try" Coco said, encouraging him "Thanks, acrobat" Coco looked at him a bit annoyed "My name is Coco" the three boys laughed.

"Kenzie, can you come here for a second?" Bluey called him from their room. Mackenzie smiled "Sure thing babe" he quickly walked up the stairs to their bedroom where he saw Bluey laying in the bed and facing away "What's up?" "Wanna be the big spoon?" she asked, not turning to look at him. He nodded and laid in the bed behind her, putting his arm over her "So…what did you tell Rusty anyway?" he asked. Bluey giggled "Oh you know, maybe it had something to do with your car" Mackenzie looked confused "Is there something wrong with it?" Bluey shrugged "Perhaps, well either way I'm sure he'll fix it" "Alright" Mackenzie smiled and pulled her closer "You know, I kinda like that little nickname Rusty came up with, blueberry?" Bluey groaned "You would" Mackenzie then moved and leaned over Bluey "Why don't I get a quick taste of some blueberry juice?" he said with a smirk. "You mean you want to kiss? I'm not sure you'd want to do that" Bluey said. "Why wouldn't I? You're my blueberry, I even-" Mackenzie stopped when he noticed that Bluey was missing her scar from his bite mark "Hey wait, I thought I bit you here" "Um…maybe it just healed quickly?" Bluey said. Mackenzie shrugged "Now how about a kiss?" a familiar voice spoke from behind Mackenzie "Well I guess you could if you wanted, but I thought you didn't like Rusty that way" Mackenzie's eyes widened as he slowly turned around and saw Bluey standing behind him "Hi" she said with a smile and a wave "S-so wait…this is…" "Rusty!" Rusty said as he quickly turned around and smiled at Mackenzie. Mackenzie's face nearly turned pale, Rusty and Bluey looked similar to each other, as if they could be cousins. Mackenzie then noticed Rusty's tail, if he had noticed it before, he would have known right away that it wasn't Bluey. Mackenzie nearly threw himself out the bed "Rusty! Why are you blue?!" Rusty and Blue burst into laughter "Hair chalk!" he said "I may not be blue, but would you settle for strawberries?" Mackenzie shook his head "No way!" Rusty then gave him a suggestive look "Would you settle for me sausage?" Mackenzie groaned "Save it for Jack!" Rusty shrugged "Me and Jack swing both ways" Rusty smirked "Do you actually find Mackenzie attractive?" Bluey asked curiously. Rusty nodded "A little, find you attractive too Bluey…actually I find most of my friends attractive…" he said while walking out the room with a wink "Time for me to get this blue stuff off me" Mackenzie looked at Bluey a bit flustered "Got your Bluey snuggles?" Bluey asked with a grin. "Maybe later…" he grumbled while leaving the room.

Hercules was alerted by someone else knocking on the door, he opened the door slowly then spoke to the dog outside "What's the password?" "Um…password?" Jack asked confused Hercules tilted his head "Nope, sorry" "It's alright Hercules we can trust him" Coco said. "Oh alright" he said before letting Jack in "But I'll be watching you" Hercules said while glancing at Jack. Jack giggled nervously before Indy gave him a hug "How was today?" Indy asked him. "Pretty wild…but I managed to help these guys out" he pointed to the door and the dogs were soon joined by Lucky, Chucky, Lila, Judo, and Pretzel. Everyone had gasped at what they saw, it seemed unlikely that they would see their friends again on the same day that they were kidnapped "But…but how?" Chloe asked. "Believe it or not, Gruber really came in and saved them" Jack said. "Where is Gruber?" Mackenzie asked. "He fled the scene after what happened" Pretzel answered. "Wait, what did happen?" Snickers asked. "One hell of a chase, and besides this small group, Gruber and Buddy were the only survivors" Jack said. "That is, if Gruber doesn't get to catch and kill him" Lucky said. "Oh yeah, he said he would get him for betraying him" Lila said "Who knew he could be so scary when he was begging Mackenzie to kill him" "Did they say anything about Calypso or the terriers?" Chloe asked. "No, sorry they used some weird gas and we couldn't stay awake for very long" Judo said "Next thing we knew, Gruber and Pretzel had managed to get us out the truck and the truck went over a cliff!" Chucky said.

"You know, usually, they show high speed chases on the news" Winton said a bit confused. "Wait, you mean they didn't?" Jack said "That's odd, they usually show them because it helps ratings, but I feel like it also helps alert people" Snickers shook his head "they didn't, we've been watching the news for the past two hours and there should've been something mentioned about it" Coco looked at Jack "Hey wait…the police know about our missing friends right?" Jack nodded "Yeah, they should" Chucky's eyes widened "Is…the news being suppressed from the public?" The group seemed surprised by Chucky's question as they realized he could have been right "You know, there were no mentions about the damage Gruber and Buddy have caused this whole time either, at least not about the dogs they have murdered" Lucky said. "That means, you lot have been dealing with somebody pretty powerful" Hercules said. "Wait, what do you mean?" Jack asked him. "Well, it's not like anyone could get away with kidnappings, murder, and a whole high speed chase, and suppress it from the media. I don't know what's happening, but you are dealing with somebody who has the power and resources to keep their activities…their presence hidden from everyone" Winton looked at him "Hercules…that may be the most horrifying thing you have ever said" "Really?" he asked. Pretzel nodded "If we consider everything you said to be true, that means we're dealing with a whole conspiracy!"

They would all go into the kitchen for a meal that Winnie and Snickers had cooked together. Rusty would walk over and kiss Jack on his cheek "Uh Bluey? I'm not sure about this…" Rusty smirked "Oh, I'm sure Mackenzie would be completely fine" Jack's eyes widened upon hearing Rusty's voice "R-rusty?! Why are you blue?" Rusty laughed "Just trying to calm you down a bit" Bluey walked in then immediately looked at Rusty "Wha- Rusty why are you still blue?" Rusty laughed "I'm a blue kelpie?" "Not when you look like me" Bluey said a bit annoyed "Alright, I'll go wash it off" Rusty said as he walked towards one of the bathrooms, Indy would follow him "I'm going to make sure he actually washes it off" Bluey nodded then watched the group eat together. "So, do we have any ideas to handle this insane situation?" Chloe asked. Nobody had any answers "You know…we might have to allow ourselves to get caught" Pretzel said. "But, we don't know what they are doing with us once they catch us, they might intend to kill us" Winnie said "I know, but it's the best chance we have and nobody else has any ideas" Pretzel said.

The dogs would finish their meals and would each wash their own plates to make things easier for Mackenzie, then they would gather in the living room. "I think everyone is just scared right now, right? It's not just me?" Judo asked. "No, the idea is certainly scary, especially when you don't know what awaits us" Lila responded. "I know, but I will go, I want to get caught" Pretzel told them. "Even if it means dying?" Mackenzie asked. Pretzel nodded "I can't just stay here and be afraid, not knowing if our friends are okay or not, and I don't blame you for being scared, that's why I'm willing to" "Aren't you worried about what your parents would think?" Jack asked Pretzel shook his head "I'm going so that I can see my mother" "What do you mean?" Lucky asked. Pretzel sighed "Technically, I'm an orphan, Calypso had adopted me after the death of my parents" Chucky looked at him surprised "You never thought to bring this up before?" Pretzel shook his head "Back then…it was painful, and Calypso respected my boundaries…I owe her a great deal of respect in return. That's why I can't wait here, I need to know if my mum is alive or not" The other dogs smiled at him, understanding his decision "Well then, we'll just have to see what happens right?" Jack asked. Pretzel nodded "Remember I'm not doing it just for her, but the terriers as well"

With their discussion coming to an end, the dogs each went to do their own things, Rusty had washed the blue chalk out of his fur, and Indy had some blue power on…interesting places on her body. Mackenzie was talking with Jack about a few things and Snickers chatted away with Hercules. Rusty and Indy were briefed on what Pretzel had told everyone and it wouldn't take much longer before almost everyone was asleep somewhere in Mackenzie's home. It was in his bedroom where Mackenzie sat thinking about something "What's the matter babe?" Bluey asked, hugging his back "I'm not Rusty" Mackenzie nodded "Yeah I know, I saw your tail" Bluey looked at her tail then looked back at him "So what's eating ya?" Mackenzie laughed a bit nervously "Well, once I know that everything is safe for us, I wanted to ask you a pretty important question" Bluey raised an eyebrow then she smiled at him "Well, if you are sure it can wait then it's fine, beside I want to tell you something too" Mackenzie looked at her "What is it?" Bluey giggled and laid down on the bed "I will tell you…once everything is over and we are sure we can be safe of course" Mackenzie laid down next to her and snuggled with her, the two would then fall asleep in each other's arms.

The next morning would come and the dogs would all dread what Pretzel had planned, they didnt know if he would be safe, or if they would ever see him again, they also had no idea of knowing if Pretzel was even going to be targeted in the first place since he was ignored the previous day when the other dogs were grabbed "You sure you want to do this?" Lucky asked. Pretzel nodded "No other way of knowing, right?" pretzel would act natural and stand outside the home while the other dogs watched in anticipation for whatever would happen. Pretzel would wait outside for hours for something to happen…anything he would let out a growl of frustration until he heard an odd noise approaching. This wasn't a car, it was a motorbike! There was only a single motorbike but it had a sidecar attached with a cage replacing the seat. The driver stopped the motorbike and someone else hopped off, thought this other dog was wearing a helmet it was obvious it was Buddy "Alright Chihuahua. Where are the others?" Buddy asked sounding a little annoyed Pretzel smirked "You seemed to have recovered from your little fall" Buddy growled "I'm not fucking around! Tell me where they are!" Pretzel laughed "Seems like someone's boss is running out of patience with him" Pretzel teased "I am going to please him, I won't fail this time!" Buddy said. "Finally! There you are Buddy!" a voice said from behind Pretzel. Both dogs looked to see none other than Gruber standing there "Gruber?!" Pretzel asked. "You look like shit dude" Buddy said looking at a stitched up wound replacing where Pretzel had burned "No thanks to you traitor!" Buddy shrugged "My boss said I could deal with you anyway I want" Gruber ran towards Buddy with a machete and full intent to kill "You moron, wait!" Pretzel yelled. However Gruber let out a loud yell as he was hit with something, then he fell over backwards, Buddy revealed he was carrying a taser, surprising Pretzel "Get in the cage chihuahua" Pretzel gulped and got into the cage then looked at Gruber "He needs help" Buddy laughed "Should I care?" Gruber sat up quickly, seemingly recovering almost instantly "The boss said I was helpful to him, so why-" Buddy cut him off "No Gruber, your boss said you were helpful, my boss wants you dead" Buddy quickly pressed the taser against Gruber again, causing him to let out a loud painful yell "LEAVE HIM ALONE!" Pretzel yelled from inside the cage. Once Gruber had stopped moving Buddy got back on the motorbike and looked at the driver "Let's go" he then turned his head at Pretzel "Order me around again…the boss wants you alive, didn't say anything about getting injured"

Once the motorbike rushed off, the other dogs rushed to Gruber, who was unconscious but still breathing. They would bring him inside the house since outside was too dangerous. Once Gruber regained consciousness he looked around to see himself surrounded by some familiar dogs, and some he's never met "W-what's happening?" he asked. "We brought you inside a safe place" Chloe said. Gruber held his head "Damn…I'm so sore…head hurts" "Yeah, you got tased…twice" Snickers said. Gruber struggled to sit up and groaned until he was more comfortable "Buddy…dammit" he said disappointed. "Must suck when your target gets away from you huh?" Mackenzie asked. Bluey nudged him "Now is not the time" she said. Gruber laughed "No, it's fine, I deserve it" Jack looked at him "Why…do you hate me?" Gruber looked at Jack, just seeing him made him feel annoyed but he sighed, as much as he did not like Jack it would only be fair to tell him why "Because…everyone got to know you…learn about you…be your friend…once you came into the picture then everyone forgot about me. Nobody cared about Gruber anymore" he chuckled. Jack looked at him sadly "I'm sorry, I never knew but if I did, I would have tried to be your friend." "Really now?" Gruber asked "That's rich, you're just lying to try to get me to be friendly with you…" he said while leaning back. "What, you think Jack is lying?" Indy asked. Gruber shrugged "He's just saying that" "You're wrong" Bluey told him "Jack is a good friend who tries his best" Rusty nodded "You know one of the first things Jack told me? He said that there was something wrong with him, that he had a few problems, but I helped him learn that there was nothing wrong" "He may have odd choices, but he's really fun once you get to know him!" Coco said. "And he's very respectful of everyone's decisions, even if he thinks that they are odd!" Mackenzie said. "Sounds like you hate him because he did what you didn't, despite his own personal problems, he still faced them head on and became one of the greatest friends we've ever had!" Indy said. Jack was touched by his friend's words and had tears in his eyes. "Jack just helped save your life, and if you can't appreciate that, then the only dog that has something wrong with them…is you" Mackenzie said while pointing at Gruber.

Gruber sighed "Alright…I'm sorry, it's just…frustrating at times and I guess I'm a bit on edge with Buddy turning out to be nothing but a big liar. But I guess I'll give Jack a chance" he said with a sigh. "They got Pretzel…what do we do now?" Winnie asked. Another hour would pass and Gruber would look outside the window only to see Buddy had returned once again, this time however Gruber had a plan, one that involved him, Pretzel's car, and Buddy possibly getting crushed by rubber and steel "Buddy…I'll show you how friendly I can be" Gruber thought as he would sneak into Mackenzie's backyard

This suddenly got interesting, Gruber is fully intent on killing the fawn pug and unlike with Mackenzie, it seems highly unlikely that anyone could talk him down from murder. What will become of Pretzel and the captured dogs? How would you try to handle a situation such as this?

This took me way too long to complete but I can't wait to get started on the next chapters
