"Alright, here are the motions." Trap Ash said, getting in the starting position for 10 Million Volt Thunderbolt.
"Alright, I understand." Ark said, following step by step. "Now once I get back I'll just have to get one of my own, how'd you get yours?"
"I got it from Tapu Koko." Trap Ash admitted.
"Ahh, now that could be problematic considering I got the Pikanium Z from my Tapu Koko." Ark sighed. "Hey, what's he doing?"
"Pikachu try it again!" Seer Ash called out.
Seer Ash's Pikachu flipped into the air, slamming his tail beneath him to no success.
"I think, he's trying to use Iron Tail." Trap Ash said. "Hey Cassidy what's up?"
"Oh, well since Dick and Ashton are exploring the coast, I thought I'd get some practice in with my Pokemon, and most of you guys Pikachu's know Iron Tail."
"True, but I was taught it by another trainer back in Hoenn." Trap Ash said.
"Yeah, and Pikachu and I spent weeks mastering it." Ark said.
"Your Pikachu doesn't know Iron Tail." Trap Ash pointed out.
"Well not any more, but he did know it at the start of the school year." Ark said.
"I'm not exactly an expert on teaching moves, I usually let it happen naturally between Pokemon." Trap Ash said.
"I usually have someone help me and other Pokemon as well." Ark admitted.
"So neither of you can help me learn Iron Tail?" Seer Ash asked.
"I couldn't help but overhear you saying you wanted to learn a new move." Captain Zisu said walking up.
"Yeah, Cassidy wants his Pikachu to learn Iron Tail, we're just not sure how to go about helping him." Trap Ash said.
"Well, I have been known to help teach Pokemon new moves." Zisu said. "I'm sure I could help you teach Iron Tail to his Pikachu."
"How can I help?" Trap Ash asked.
"Your Pikachu can help him with the basics while we go over the mechanics." Zisu said.
"Learning from other Pikachu is how we learned Surf and Volt Tackle." Ark commented. "Had a real Pika Power Up that week."
"Yeah and that still sounds weirdly familiar but I'm not sure why." Trap Ash said.
"So to understand how to use Iron Tail, I want you to tell me what the mechanics of it are." Zisu said.
'Me?" Seer Ash asked.
"Any of you, Ashlyn and Ark said their Pikachu have learned how to use Iron Tail each, so anyone who can tell me something about Iron Tail is useful." Zisu said.
"It's a very physical attack and a slower moving one in comparison to electric type attacks or normal attacks like Quick Attack or Slam." Seer Ash said.
"Very good, those are true, but what can you tell me about the move itself." Zisu said.
"It's good against rock, ice, and fairy type Pokemon." Trap Ash said.
"Yes, but is there anything else you know about it?" Zisu asked.
"It's not the most accurate move." Ark said. "Because of its speed and close range it won't always connect with your opponent."
"Now we're making progress." Zisu said. "Do you know anything else about the attack?"
"Not that I can think of." Seer Ash said.
"That's fine, the three of you have gone over a lot of the mechanics of the move, but let's see how you can use it in action." Zisu said. "Ashlyn if you would be so kind."
"Gladly, Pikachu use Iron Tail!" Trap Ash called out.
Pikachu leapt at a boulder on the side of the arena, slicing straight through its with his tail.
"We've had a lot of practice with Iron Tail." Trap Ash admitted.
"Alright, now Cassidy let's see what you can do?" Zisu said.
"Pikachu use Mimic!" Seer Ash called out.
Seer Ash's Pikachu, mimicked Trap Ash's slamming his tail right through the same slice in the boulder.
"No, if you want to teach him Iron Tail properly, he needs to do it naturally." Zisu said. "Not with Mimic."
"Right, sorry, it's an old habit." Seer Ash said.
"You aren't doing a bad job, Mimic is a powerful move to master, but if you are serious about Iron Tail you need to use it, not another move." Zisu said affirmingly.
"Alright, let's do this again. Pikachu use Iron Tail!" Trap Ash called out.
Trap Ash's Pikachu leapt at the boulder, swinging his tail into the slice and knocking half of it away with a single swift movement.
"Alright, Pikachu use Iron Tail!" Seer Ash called out.
Seer Ash's Pikachu rushed forward, straightening his tail before slamming it into the rock, a shiver running up his entire body from the strike.
"It won't happen over night, but he's getting the mechanics of it." Zisu said. "With a bit more practice, I'm sure that you will master it in no time."
"I'll keep working at it, and I'm sure I'll get it just like the others have." Seer Ash said.
"And earlier than most of us." Trap Ash said, seeing just how close Seer Ash was to getting the move correct. "You'll get this, I'm sure of it."
