Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Noble Guardians. Enjoy the 2100-word chapter. I do not own Halo, Microsoft, 343, and a few others do.

The pelican slowly landed amid the base, the group of Spartans slowly disembarking as they looked to the side.

"Everyone to the base… Be ready for tomorrow." They heard as they all looked to the side.

"We're doing what we can do, sir," Gadge stated before he sighed to look to the side. "This is going to be more and more chaotic tomorrow, the more I think about what we saw? The more crap I think we are going in." Gadge stated as the group slowly appeared to walk inside.

She could have been too unfamiliar with what was going on as she clicked her fingers as she seemed to be too interested in what was going on before she relaxed.

The group entered the building and they relaxed. There were dozens of soldiers, marines, and army troopers, all of whom were too interested in the next measure of life… They made their way toward the planning room, ready for the next stage of their battle.

"Sir, where is Kat?" Gadge asked before he paused, thinking of the next move.

"War room B, down the hall. She is busy talking to Colonel Holland." Carter stated.

"You sure?" Gadge questioned.

"Yes, entirely," Carter stated, pausing only to think. "The other team found something out in the middle of the desert," Carter stated.

"I was hoping I was wrong about more covenant soldiers here, sir. This planet does not need more war." Gadge stated before he sighed. "Sir? What is the plan if they decide to hit us with everything, they have all at the same time?" Gadge asked.

It was not meant to be a hard question to have for now. It was simply part of the fact that they would act following what was going on.

They slowly entered a war room, small, cramped, and devoid of any noticeable details. He had been too used to these sorts of rooms to think anything of it.

"Commander… You made it." Kat stated from around the table where the rest of Noble Team stood.

"We were busy taking out some housekeeping." Gadge joked before he crossed his arms across his chest.

"Big roaches," Emile added as the two Spartans shared a nod.

"Anyone ever told you that you'd be a lovely comedian, Noble Seven?" Kat asked before she tapped at the map. "Six and the others found something," Kat said before plugging in information.

What they were greeted by was a massive covenant construct the size of a small skyscraper, the image was replaced as more and more covenant soldiers appeared… Then a Corvette, then 2, then 4.

"The rest of the covenant not at Sword pulled back to Szurdok Ridge. We think there are even more ships we are not picking up." Kat stated.

"So, there is an invasion force," Gadge stated. "Damn it, I was hoping I was wrong," Gadge muttered.

Kat looked over the group. Carter was busy analyzing every single detail of what they had heard, Emile was sharpening his knife in anticipation of the upcoming fight, sparks flying from his knife.

Gadge frowned as the younger spartan seemed to lean on the wall next to him, Rose looked like she wanted to crack a joke a this, but Thom was silent with all his interest on the board.

Jorge was stone-faced but anyone with an iota of authority like her could tell he was shaking with rage at his home planet being attacked.

Nobody wanted to try and tell someone their friend that their planet would be burned.

There were a few seconds of silence as the soldier seemed to be ready for it at the time being, there was chaos that he had not seemed to try and deal with it.

He had been unable to think of it as he clicked his tongue against the roof of his mouth and then some. He had not been unable to deal with it for now and for good reason as it came crashing down to it.

He had not been familiar with it at the end of the day. The commander looked at his men as they all shared looks.

"So, we must go assault an entire group of covenant ships and their staging area… While also worrying about them looking into Sword Base." Gadge stated before he sighed and looked downwards.

He had been unfamiliar with it for now. He looked to the side as he clicked his fingers on the table, there was a lot of pain before he sighed.

"Agreed, we have two different problems to deal with," Carter stated before he sighed to himself. "We need to go and handle this before it spreads… Kat, what are our options?" Carter questioned before he seemed to look down at the ground.

He was quiet, too interested in his next move… He knew what was going down the road with it, knowing what he was doing… They had a very long and harsh road down the road for them… All of it hurt and it was clear that he could not properly fix… He had a lot more to try and deal with it for now.

He was quiet, disgusted by something that he could have dealt with it for now. He had been relaxed for now.

He had not been relaxed about what he could deal with for now as he clicked his fingers against the roof of his mouth. His entire squad for now and he would not be relaxed for now as he sighed to himself.

He had not been able to properly think of what the next move was more and more exhaustion on his mind, he knew what was coming down the line as he sighed to be too dealt with for now.

So much was going down and he could not for the life of his try and manage it in quite a good way which he had to keep growing on his mind.

He had not forgotten what needed to be done and what was going on. They had a job to do and all of it was something to try and figure it all out before he sighed.

Gadge had been too interested in what was going on before he sighed to himself. He had not been able to try and figure out something while she paused to try and think for now at the end of the day.

Gadge seemed to be relaxing for now. They had a plan and a good one at that before now as the Spartans all looked at each other before relaxing.

"What happens next when we come and attack? The Covenant is not going to commit their forces all to an assault against us… Even if we wipe them all out? There is going to be at least one commander who does not want to commit their army here." Gadge stated before he sighed.

The others all looked over at him before he seemed to try and figure out what their next plan of attack was before she seemed to be ready for the next move and knew what was going on as a result.

He had not been able to figure it out as he paused, not wanting to let it all come to an end now… He had not been able to try and deal for now.

He had been familiar with it as he paused to think of what he clicked his fingers; he had been able to try and deal with it slowly.

Gadge paused, thinking for a moment as to what the plan was before he sighed and looked to the side.

"You, ok?" Carter asked.

"Just wondering what goes on if we don't stop this before they bring the hammer down," Gadge stated.

"We are going to be in for a fight, Spartan… We have a lot more to do before it comes down to it." Gadge heard as he sighed before he finally decided to stop holding back.

He did not know what the next move was, he did not possibly comprehend it and he could tell it would be all too much to try and deal with it for now.

He had been familiar with it as he paused to let it all end. He could not have as he clicked his fingers and let it all end for now.

Perhaps he did not know but he wished to… He had a lot of ideas on his mind, stuff cutting and ripping through it like a shark. He looked over to his side, knowing what was going to happen once again before it all came to an end.

He knew what was going to happen and he welcomed it to no end, he could not have done much to end it, not much now, not when he could see it all fall apart.

He had been unwilling to relax, to let it come down. Gadge grabbed his gun and turned on his heel, knowing what came next before he ended it for now. Such was life and life seemed to have been good.

He had been familiar with it as of now, he had not been familiar with it as he sighed to himself. Whatever was the case? He had to end it before it all came to a head, that would not change, not now and not ever.

To be fair? He had to bring it to an end… Noble Team had to end it, that was the end goal, he could not have allowed it for now.

He had been familiar with that until the end of the day. She paused to let it all come down to it for now as she paused to let it all come to an end.

"So, what's the plan?" Gadge questioned as he hummed.

"We hit them and hit them hard," Carter said while he looked down at the map. "Colonel Holland will end up sending the majority of the UNSC army in the area to engage them directly… Six and Kat will move up on the ground while I coordinate air support." Carter said.

"That's cool, boss… But what about the rest of us?" Emile asked.

"Jorge? You, Gadge, and Rose will back up the ground forces in the back… Thom? Jun? You both handle clearing out the spires… Everything goes well? We are cleaning up their main base and be able to chase down the few that survive." Carter stated.

The Spartans glanced at him before he paused to try and deal with it for now. Every single Spartan knew how bad things were and yet? They wanted something to end but they knew the gavel would come down hard on them.

"We ain't going to wrap this up in one go, sir. They came here in force and they damn sure ain't going to back off now that they know where we live." Gadge stated before he sighed.

"Then we keep fighting until they do, Captain." Gadge heard.

"Doesn't make it any easier, sir," Gadge said before he turned to Jorge. "Kill some of the SOBs for me," Gadge stated before he sighed.

"Same to you," Jorge said before the two Spartans exited the room with Rose.

"He has a point, commander… The covenant wants to kill us all, they will not stop just because we kill an army of them." Kat stated as Carter nodded.

"Then we just have to keep killing them, Kat," Carter stated before crossing his arms. "I know damn well the covenant will not stop if we kill their forces on Reach. It is better than just ditching the planet and trying to hide somewhere they cannot find us since we are screwed either way." Carter stated with a sigh as he did so.

To be fair? It was not like he doubted his friends. Did he know damn well either way? The war was going to whittle them down to nothing in a matter of months or even years… The only problem was the chaos which needed to be dealt with before long.

To be fair? He had zero real desire to end it for now, knowing what was growing on his mind, he had no desire to deal with for now sorts of ideas which would be something else.

He was silent, too interested in what the next move would have been, knowing what was growing on his mind before he sighed, letting him continue to think.

He was too silent, knowing what was growing on the moment. Their operation would be much harder to figure out, knowing what was going on inside his mind.
