With the seven trainers properly on a journey together, Route 3 seemed to be a piece of cake. The group had waited for Lori to get healed up, before heading up the well paved path to the north. The group didn't find anything of note on this road, though quickly came to two buildings, one a log cabin with a fenced in backyard, and the other a small preschool, on a raised bit of land. Cheren seemed interested in checking out the preschool, while Lori seemed more interested in a the log cabin, along with Ralsei.

"That's sure a nice looking building." Ralsei commented. "I wonder what's inside."

"I mean we could go in and look." Lori asked.

"Wonder what they're learning in there." Cheren wondered.

"We could probably check, right?" Kieran asked. "I mean hey they might like to see some of our Pokemon at the very least."

Kris and Bianca decided to keep going, to check the route further on, while Susie decided to go see the little playground outside.

While the others went to their respective places, Lori and Ralsei were the first to arrive at their respective destination. The inside of the daycare was well kept, with an area in the back blocked off by the counter, and an old woman behind it.

"Why hello there!" The old lady said. "Welcome to the Pokemon Daycare!"

"Daycare eh?" Lori said. "What do you do here?"

"Well we take care of Pokemon for you, for a fee." The old woman replied.

"And why would we want to do that?" Ralsei inquired. "Isn't this whole Pokemon thing about your own bond with them?"

"Well..." The old woman replied. "While you are out on your adventure, we raise your Pokemon well, and they will become stronger by the time you return."

"How much so?" Ralsei asked.

"Depends on how long you're gone." The old woman replied. "It won't be much, but a journey's worth of adventuring could make them very powerful, it helps with training a Pokemon if you have too many or are encountering ones they can't fight very well."

"Interesting." Lori replied. "So you like your work?"

"Of course!" The old woman replied. "I've been doing it for decades now, I've largely settled down now, hence why we're here. Young trainers tend to have easier to take care of Pokemon after all."

"Fair enough." Lori replied.

"We were just looking at the building really." Ralsei said. "It's quite nice."

"Why thank you." The old woman replied. "We used quite a bit of our retirement fund on this, thought it'd be nice to settle down with a place."

"You live here too?" Lori asked.

"Yes, I do." The old woman said. "Behind the counter here is our house, along with the small yard you saw the Pokemon playing in."

"Doesn't seem too big." Ralsei commented.

"It isn't really." The old woman said. "There is a basement though, so it's bigger than it appears. It's flooded once or twice since we've been here, however."

"It rain a lot over here?" Ralsei asked. "I'm from out of um, region."

"Every once in awhile." The old woman replied. "Probably only 4 to 6 times a decade honestly."

"Fair enough." Lori replied. "Anyways, we'll be heading off I guess then, we just wanted to see the building."

"Log cabins are nice looking." Ralsei said with a smile, rings glowing slightly more for a moment.

"Well you two have a nice day!" The old woman said.

"You too." Lori replied.

"Thanks!" Ralsei added.

After the two left, the elderly woman said aloud to the empty room her confusion over the fluffy boy's physical form, unsure of what exactly it was. She decided to go out, and check on the outdoor Pokemon. While Lori and Ralsei were inside, Kieran and Cheren were being stopped by a few young trainers, along with a daycare aide for trainer battles.

"What are kids that young doing with Pokemon anyways?" Cheren asked.

"No idea." Kieran replied.

"Guess it's practice?" Cheren asked, still unsure.

"We could ask inside." Kieran replied, since they were almost there anyways.

"Good idea." Cheren replied, the duo walking in. They noticed more young children, some running around a mat, some playing with blocks, and one petting an Eevee. Kieran elected to scan it from a distance. Inside the building, it seemed much more modern than the Trainer's School, though of similar size. The building had a pale blue paint on the inside, with decor to make it look sort of like the outside, a grassy pattern sticker on the bottom, and some cloud posteresque objects on the walls, along with a painted on sun, of acrylic art paint rather than proper wall paint. Kieran and Cheren didn't see it to be very amazing, but for a 2-5 year old, it sure would look nice.

"Hey." The woman inside said. "Kids outside give you trouble?'

"You could say that." Cheren replied. "What are they doing with Pokemon anyways?"

"Those are ours." The woman replied. "We let the kids play with them, rotate them out if they were too powerful and that."

"Fine enough." Cheren replied.

"You want healed by chance?" The woman asked.

"That'd be great, yeah." Kieran replied.

"I'll get to that then." The woman took their Pokeballs, and went to go heal them.

"We should probably stock up on potions if those Team Plasma guys ever get more prevalent." Kieran replied.

"How come?" Cheren asked.

"Like in case they try and steal our stuff when healing, if they take over a Pokemon Center or what not." Kieran replied.

"I'm sure you'd hear about it." The woman said.

"Still, just to be safe and all..." Kieran said. "Just kinda worried."

"How come?" The woman asked.

"Just ran into them earlier... If it wasn't for Susie..." Kieran replied.

"Man." The woman said. "That sure does suck. Anyways, Feel free to look around, use the playground or anything, I'm sure it's not too heavy for you, might be a bit small though."

"No thanks." Cheren said, kinda weirded out by that, but didn't see any harm in it.

As the two headed out, they ran into Susie, who was just heading back from looking at the playground. It seemed fairly standard to them, with a climby half sphere object, a slide, some swings, and a see-saw.

"So how was the playground?" Kieran asked.

"I mean it was fine, the kids were too light to get the see-saw to work." Susie replied.

"Man." Kieran. "That must suck."

"You could say that, yeah." Susie replied. Just then they were stopped by Bianca, who seemed out of breath and panicked.

"What's wrong?" Kieran asked.

"Yeah, you must've ran here..." Cheren commented.

"It's those Team Plasma guys again!" Bianca yelled. "They stole that little girl's Pokemon, and also the Pidove I just caught..."

"Ah..." Kieran said. "We should probably try and stop them now..."

"I can handle it, yeah." Susie said. "Follow my lead, Bianca, where are they?"

"Just follow me!" Bianca yelled, rushing over to where they were. Susie followed them, and Kieran and Cheren followed Susie.
