Chapter 236

Hiccups POV:

It's been four hours since my run in with those fish men like automatons and since then I've been doing nothing but travelling in the directions that the pendant directed me to. During this trip I kept my guard up in case there were any more surprises waiting for me in the waters since I wouldn't put it past the Telchines or Zael to send something else after my ship to stop me from reaching their lair and stopping them. Still though, as I sailed I couldn't shake the feeling that I was being watched by someone but whenever I looked around, nobody was there and the only issue I've encountered is the occasional automaton which were easy enough to deal with. I did notice that as I travelled more of them kept coming at me with each defeat meaning that I was getting closer and the Telchines were getting more desperate to stop me which made me smile and speed faster as I wondered when I would arrive at my destination.

Telchines lair

Nobodies POV:

The Telchines were once again looking down at the pool that showed Hiccup and his ship and to describe how they were, could only be said in one word and that is displeased. They had sent multiple forces to deal with Hiccup, but he was easily able to dispatch them as if they were nothing more than a mere annoyance despite the fact that they were some of their finest creations. There was only one person who was more displeased with this and that is Zael who was not the least bit happy about the Telchines failure to end the life of this man who he considered an obstacle to claiming what he believed to be his destiny. Zael growled and said.

"Your creations have failed." A Telchine with the hood of his cloak covering his eyes said.

"We underestimated his combat skill and the power of his weapons." Zael just glared.

"Just focus on the triton while I handle the mortal." The Telchines nodded before Zael walked over to a large pool of water and swam down into it, entering a tunnel and swimming down it, eventually exiting into the ocean. "Let's see how you deal with my power mortal."

He brought a finger to his lips and bit into it, puncturing the skin before pulling the finger away and allowing black blood to seep out of the puncture as he held out his hand. Theblood floated up, forming a large floating blob that slowly took shape like that of a long serpent before it began solidifying and taking a new form. When the blood had fully taken form, it had become a large sea serpent with black scales with a sand-brown underside from the mouth to the tail and glowing red eyes. Gold teeth stuck out from the beasts closed mouth and a black fin stuck out from the underside of its mouth making it look like a small beard. Sprouting from its head were two large golden horns that bent back and resembled the horns of a buck from Africa. Along its body were also many bright blue tentacle-like growths that slowly moved around as if they were flowing with the current of the water. On the sides of the body were three large pairs of black fins with blue edging and spots two black fins at the end of the tail. In the middle of its forehead was a single ocean blue gem that was flowing with power and clearly the source of the beast's power. The serpent looked at Zael who pointed in the direction of Hiccups ship as he said.

"When a mortal and his ship come, destroy them both." The beast gave a growl and nod before taking off while Zael chuckled. "Let's see how you deal with a beast that has my power flowing through its veins." He then turned around and swam back into the tunnel that leads to the Telchines lair.

1 hour later

Hiccups POV:

The pendant was glowing brighter than before and I had enough experience with magical items to know that this meant I'm close to the Telchines lair but I was nervous since I hadn't encountered any more of those automaton things and from past experiences, it's when things are quiet that things are the most dangerous. I looked down into the water hoping to at least see a hint of what I was going to have to deal with next since I highly doubt the Telchines were going to send in more of their automatons to try and deal with me. Not seeing anything I let out a sigh and walked away from the edge while taking out my bottomless water skin and took a sip to quench my thirst but as the cool water went down my throat the sound of water splashing followed by a roar ruined my moment of peace. I spat out the water and looked towards the direction the sound came from and saw a long serpent raising its head above the railing of the deck before he put his water skin away and asked.

"Why do the quiet moments never last the long?" He released his crystal spear and got into his battle stance. "Time to get to work." With that said, he pointed the blade end of his spear at the beast and got ready to fight.

Nobodies POV:

The serpent looked down at Hiccup with a glare which Hiccup was all too happy to return before the beast lunged at him with lightning fast speed, but Hiccup reflexes were faster. He jumped back avoiding the snapping jaws of the beast before he slammed the blade of his spear down on the head of the beast who pulled back quickly so the blade of his spear just scratched the muzzle. The beast roared in anger at Hiccup and let out a water blast at Hiccup like that of a scauldren but Hiccup dived out of the way of the blast and ran to the side, avoiding the blast as the beast turned its head to try hit him. When the blasts stopped Hiccup quickly pointed the crystal end of his spear at the neck of the serpent and launched a flurry of crystals towards it making the beast growl in pain as they hit its skin.

The serpent glared down at Hiccup who stood battle ready before the growths around the serpents' body began to flow around like the tentacles of an octopus. It then lunged at Hiccup again who once again, dodged the strike but this time, the growths on the beasts' body that was right behind it lashed out towards Hiccup in an attempt to grab him. Hiccup quickly stepped back to avoid their grab before he slashed the bladed end down on the two that tried to grab him, slamming both down onto the deck, cutting them off. The serpent roared in pain as it pulled its head back and raised its tail on the other side of the ship before sweeping it across the deck, catching Hiccup by surprise and off guard. The tail slammed into him and threw him across the deck and into the wall next to the door making him grunt in pain and slide to the ground in a slight daze. Hiccup shook his head and glared up at the beast and said.

"Okay, now I'm angry!"

He wiped a bit of blood from his lip and charged at the beast that stared at him in surprise, not expecting him to be able to get up from the blow. The serpents shock didn't last long though and it quickly lunged at Hiccup again but Hiccup tuck and rolled to the left, avoiding the fangs of the beast before stabbing his spear forward, piercing the neck of the beast while imbedding the head of his spear into it. The beast roared in pain and quickly raised its head with the spear in it and Hiccup holding on tightly before it began swinging its head around in an attempt to get both the spear and its wielder off. Eventually the spear came loose but not before leaving a long scratch across its muzzle that made the beast roar out in pain as its anger towards Hiccup grew stronger. The beast let out another roar and lunged at Hiccup with its jaws wide open, but Hiccup was smarter and knew how to use the serpents attack to end it all.

He thrust his spear forward with the head facing up and the crystal end facing down, just as the mouth came down at him and shoved the spear into it before diving out of the way, barely avoiding the beasts muzzle but he wasn't fast enough to avoid the beast throwing its head up. This threw Hiccup twenty feet into the air as the serpent tried to remove the spear from its muzzle as Hiccup used his ox flame boots floating ability to both gain more height and get right above the serpent's head. When he dropped, he released his lion gauntlets and flew straight down at the head of the beast while channeling a mist white crystal in his arm to pack a little more power into his punch. The beast was too busy trying to remove the spear from its mouth to notice Hiccup speeding towards it or dodge the hard and destructive blow that came down right onto the jewel in its head.

The jewel surprisingly did not shatter as the head was pushed down to the deck and the moment it hit the surface, the head of the spear came right out of the top of the beasts' head, undamaged. The same could not be said for the serpent as Hiccup deactivated his lion gauntlets and pulled his spear out before hopping off the head of the serpent. The serpents' body was slowly pulled off the ship and back into the ocean by its lower half and slowly sunk below the waves as Hiccup watched. He took a breath and pulled his spear back into his prosthetic as he said.

"Well that takes care of that." He then pulled out the pendant and saw it was glowing brighter than ever. "Definitely just arrived at the Telchines lair." Hiccup pulled out his merrow cap and put it on. "As much as I hate getting my clothes wet, I can't waist anymore time since the longer I wait, the higher the chances of Zael getting control of the triton." Before he could dive into the water though he noticed the jewel of the serpent and frowned. "Can't leave this thing alone." Hiccup picked it up and placed it in his spiderpack. "Time for a dip." With the jewel in place, Hiccup ran to the railing and dived into the water with the pendant in hand.

20 minutes later

Hiccup was swimming down the tunnel leading to the Telchines lair as fast as he could but kept his guard up, knowing that this was enemy territory and they may have traps setup for intruders. Slowly Hiccup made his way through the tunnel with the pendant in his hand being the guide that continued to lead him to where the Telchines resided. He soon came to a dead end with a pool above him and slowly swam up to it before silently emerging to find him self in a giant cavern that was full of air. Hiccup looked around and saw multiple inscriptions on the walls along with multiple pools of water set up against the bottom of the walls. At the far end of the cavern was a forge made of blue stone that was shaped like a giant fish's head with the forge being in the sharp toothed mouth of it with a giant orange hermit crab shell on either side. What caught Hiccups attention the most though was the chanting that was echoing against the walls of the cave and when Hiccup turned to the direction that the chanting was coming from; he saw three cloaked and hooded figures. Hiccup slowly climbed onto a low platform in the pool, hoping to catch his foes by surprise before a voice from behind him said.

"Welcome Hiccup Haddock!"

Hiccup immediately turned to see the Telchine with the long muzzle smirking at him as he floated three rocks at his side and turned them into arrows before launching them at him. Hiccup smirked and activated his blade scarf that quickly made short work of the arrows by slicing them each into three while they were in midair. The Telchine glared at Hiccup who asked.

"Did you really think that would kill me?" The Telchine smirked.

"My intention wasn't to kill you but to distract you from your real opponent."

Hiccups eyes widened as a grunt sounded behind him, followed by a strong blow to his right side sent him flying out of the pool and into the wall. Hiccup coughed up a little blood on impact and looked up at the one who had struck him while the Telchine who distracted him went to join the others. The cloaked figure smiled down at Hiccup and said.

"And you're meant to be the champion of the gods." He let out a chuckle. "How pathetic!"

"Zael, I presume?" Zael nodded. "Have to say that was quiet a punch but I guess I should expect nothing less from the son of a god." He growled.

"My father has nothing to do with my new power."

He grabbed his cloak and threw it aside to reveal a form that made Hiccup gasp in both shock and horror since before he left Poseidon had shown him images of Zael and now he looked nothing like the handsome man in the images. This creature was a fish like beast with a figure like Alvin, but with muscles that were slightly bigger and a good two feet taller than the chief of the Outcasts. Along with this, his skin was a pale swamp green with a lighter underbelly that went up to his mouth with the skin being that of a fish meaning covered in fish scales with webbed clawed hands. His eyes were ink black with fins for ears, yellow shark like teeth that and long hair that reached the middle of his back and was pale grey while looking as if it were made of long crab legs. The only article of clothing he was wearing was a loincloth with a golden belt holding up what looked to be a sharkskin cloth that covered his lower parts and the golden bands with triton heads on them, wrapped around his wrists. Hiccup stared at this human like beast in shock and horror as he asked.

"What in the name of Poseidon did you do to yourself?" He just chuckled.

"This is the power I gained from my time in the dark abyss my father threw me into, aided by the magic of my Telchine comrades." He chuckled. "I am now superior to my father and of course you mortal."

"You've become a monster because of your anger and thirst for power and you don't even realize it." He growled.

"You don't even deserve the honor of seeing my magnificent new form but instead of thanking me for the honor, you insult me." He clenched his fists. "Time to die mortal."

He then charged at Hiccup with his fist held high, but Hiccup had recovered from the first blow and ducked beneath the strike while sliding between Zaels spread legs while turning his prosthetic into its dragon claw form. Zael turned around to face Hiccup only to get a hard kick to the face from him when he did a high sweep kick that made Zael turn his hand and rub his jaw. Hiccup then quickly slammed his prosthetic right into Zael's stomach while channeling a mist white crystal to give the strike a little more power. Zael leaned down slightly at the blow as Hiccup stepped back before Zael let out a chuckle and said.

"Not bad Hiccup but it'll take more than that to defeat me." He then cracked his neck. "My turn now!"

He then charged at Hiccup and swung his so fast that Hiccup barely had time to activate his leather vest and even with it he could still feel the strength of the punch and if it weren't for the chains quickly anchoring him to the ground, he would've gone flying. Zael then swung at him again but this time, Hiccup was able to duck under the blow and back flip to avoid a kick from Zael who growled in annoyance. Hiccup growled back wishing he could use his weapons but knew he couldn't use most of them without severely injuring Zael and Poseidon had asked him to try avoiding doing so. With this in mind Hiccup decided to bring out one of his least lethal weapons in the form of his mystic bo staff and rapidly spun it around before pointing it at Zael who chuckled and asked.

"Do you really think that little stick will help you defeat me?" Hiccup readied his bo staff.

"In the right hands, I know it can."

Hiccup charged at Zael swinging his staff toward his head but Zael was quick to block it using one of the golden bands around his wrists before Hiccup quickly lowered his staff and thrust it forward, striking Zael right in the gut. Hiccup quickly extended his staff against Zael's stomach as he jumped, pushing Hiccup back allowing him to put some distance between them while pushing Zael back into the wall. Before he could shrink his staff back down though, Zael grabbed onto the end that was against his stomach and quickly swung it to the side with Hiccup being carried by the other end. When Zael stopped swinging the staff Hiccup was forced to let go and went sliding across the ground and into the wall of the cavern while Zael chuckled and said.

"I have to admit, you're putting up a better fight than I thought." He then smirked. "I'm going to enjoy beating you to death but don't worry about your family." He chuckled. "I hear your women are real beauties with great skills so I will be sure to look after them after a little mind alteration to make them a little more obedient." Hiccup felt his blood beginning to boil. "As for your beasts, I'm sure they'll do excellent as mounts for my forces or entertainment in the arena." Hiccup tightened his fists. "And don't worry about your kids, I'll be sure to raise that daughter of yours to be like her mothers while I'll train your son to be an excellent general for my army but should any of them prove a unruly, I'll have to do away with them." Hiccup growled in fury.

"You are never going to touch a single hair on those I care about." He activated his rhino helmet and charged right at Zael, quickly forming the rhino that charger right into Zael who was pushed back three feet before he was able to grab the rhino and slam it onto its side, making it turn back into Hiccup. "Nice try Hiccup." It was then there was a bright flash behind him and he turned to see what it was before smiling at it and turning back to Hiccup. "The Telchines are nearly done and the triton shall be mine." Hiccup slowly stood up.

"Not if I have anything to say about it." Zael growled.

"You'll never get past me." Hiccup smirked.

"I don't need to get past you to beat you." Zael raised an eyebrow as Hiccup placed a hand against his chest as if he were trying to nurse a wound before he pulled his hand away fast throwing three orange shuriken at Zael who dodged and chuckled.

"You missed!" Hiccup smirked.

"Did I?" Zael's eyes widened in realization as the shuriken struck the floor between the Telchines who were too focused on their work until the shuriken exploded, throwing all four of them back and into walls as the triton fell to the ground making Zael roar in anger as he turned back to Hiccup.

"You fool, you've ruined the altering ceremony for the triton." He grabbed Hiccup by his neck and lifted him up, not noticing Hiccup take something out of his coat and into his prosthetic hand. "It'll be a month before the moon is in a position where its powers can be used to alter the tritons power." Hiccup just chuckled.

"And by that time, you and your cohorts will be rotting in Tartarus." Zael growled.

"You will never defeat me." Zael roared as Hiccup smiled before he lifted his prosthetic hand and opened it to reveal six clear Loki balls that were filled with his knockout gas.

"Yes, I will!" He then shoved all the Loki balls right into Zael's mouth making him quickly shut it and drop Hiccup as he began to choke and cough up the gas while Hiccup watched with a smile on his face. "Sweet dreams." As soon as the words left his mouth, Zael collapsed to the ground unconscious while Hiccup walked past and retrieved his bo staff as he scanned the place until his eyes landed on the Telchines who were helping each other back up. "Poseidon wanted me to go easy on his son since he's family but you four on the other hand are in for a lot of pain." They each quickly made rocks float up before turning them into ice arrows that they launched at me, but I just kept walking towards them and let the arrows hit me with them shattering on impact. "Nice try but I have an immunity to the cold and after it was upgraded, ice doesn't have an effect on me, no matter what its form is." They growled and tried again with arrows made of stone but this time I quickly turned around while using my shadow coat to cover the entire back of my body before the arrows struck and got pulled into it, shocking the Telchines as I turned to face them. "Neat, huh?" I then swung my arms, launching two arrows at each of them, imbedding an arrow in each of their legs making them roar in pain before collapsing. "You guys shouldn't have messed with me and helped Zael." I unwrapped my eyepatch to show the eye of the dragon and began leaking acid from my prosthetic and onto the floor making the Telchines shake in horror. "Poseidon want you four in Tartarus for what you did to his triton and knowing how it feels to have the power your weapon turned against you, I figure I'll teach you four a lesson first." Before I could take another step forward though, a voice said.

"I don't think so."

Before I could turn towards the voice a paper Japanese talisman was thrown between me and the Telchines and the words painted on it glowed bright red. I raised an eyebrow in confusion before the talisman exploded with black gas making Hiccup back up in shock and before anyone could react the entire cavern was filled with gas and all those who were still conscious could do was cough. Hiccup fell to his knees and looked up to see a hooded figure making his way towards the Telchines before everything went black for him as the figure slowly faded from existence along with the Telchines leaving only an unconscious Hiccup and Zael behind.

1 hour later

Hiccups POV:

I groaned at the feeling of the splitting headache I had before I slowly opened my eyes and looked at an unfamiliar roof while I tried to remember where I was and what happened. It was then everything came back to me, up to when I was getting ready to capture the Telchines before that Japanese talisman came out of nowhere and let out all that black smoke that knocked me out. My eyes then widened as I remembered Zael and quickly turned back to where I left him and let out a sigh of relief when I saw that he was still laying on the ground unconscious. I didn't want to take chances though and quickly sent out my tail joints and had them wrap around Zael's upper body, pinning his arms to his sides. With that done, I slowly stood up and walked up to him and made sure he was out cold and smiled before realization hit me and I looked around until my eyes landed on the item I was looking for making me let out a breath I'd been holding before I ran over to the item and picked it up with my prosthetic. I smiled down at the item that was the main reason I'd come on this adventure since this item would allow someone to command the oceans and all those within it for what was in my hand, was Poseidon's triton. It was then I realized something that was also important and asked myself.

"How in the world am I going to let Poseidon know what's happened." A voice from the pool that leads into the lair replied.

"He already knows." I immediately turned to see Poseidon coming out of the water. "And I would appreciate the return of my triton." I smiled.

"With pleasure lord Poseidon." I walked up to the edge of the pool and kneeled before him as I offered up the triton with both hands which he took and examined.

"It looks like the Telchines really did a bit of damage, but it is nothing Hephaestus cannot fix." He then turned to Hiccup. "I thank you for your aid in this matter Hiccup Haddock."

"It was my pleasure lord Poseidon, but may I ask how you were able to recover so quickly?"

"I am a god of the waters Hiccup Haddock and you placed me within the waters where I could draw the strength to heal myself faster thanks to my strength of will and the moment I was fully healed, I rushed here to aid you in your battle but it seems my help was not needed." He looked at Zael's downed form. "I thankyou for defeating my son without ending his life or severely injuring him and I assure you, he shall never harm anyone again." He raised his hand and water flowed out of the pool, wrapping around him as I summoned my tail back. "Now could you tell me where the Telchines are?" I looked down in fear.

"I am afraid they are no longer here lord Poseidon." He raised an eyebrow.

"They got away?"

"To be honest with you, I'm not entirely sure." He gestured for me to go on. "When I was about to finish them off a Japanese paper talisman was thrown between me and them before it released a cloud of black smoke that knocked me out but the last thing I saw was a hooded figure taking the Telchines."

"So, you believe they were rescued by someone." I nodded.

"Why though, I am not sure, but I have the feeling it is not good in the least." He nodded.

"I'll have Hermes the gods of Japan and ask that they keep watch for the Telchines and the one who took them." He then turned to Zael. "First however, I will need to take my son to Tartarus." I could hear the sadness in his voice when he said this and I couldn't blame him since as evil as he was, Zael was still his son. "Hiccup, while I am doing this, I'd like you to explore the lair of the Telchines for anything that may seem dangerous such as weapons they may have forged or materials they use, so they may be taken out of the reach of mortals." I nodded in understanding knowing that anything made by the Telchines would mean chaos in the wrong hands.

"With pleasure lord Poseidon." He smiled.

"I'll have Hermes come by this evening to collect the items."

"And I'll have them all waiting her for him to take." I then gave one more bow before Poseidon disappeared into the water while dragging Zael with him as I stood back up and looked around. "Time to get to work." I then began my exploration of the lair.

Nightfall

It's been hours since I last saw Poseidon and those hours had been spent exploring the Telchines lair, looking for weapons, tools, materials and other such things. Moving all the items to the entrance wasn't easy though since they had an entire armory of dangerous weapons on racks and I couldn't take the risk of them causing trouble within my spiderpack so I had to move them all by hand. Fortunately, I was able to lift up the racks and use them to carry the weapons through but I had to do it slowly since I did not want to find out what would happen if one of them dropped to the ground. Along with the weapons, I'd also had to bring in multiple crates of minerals that looked like nothing I'd ever seen before and I was not going to take the risk of touching them. Other than that, I found a room full of treasures such as gold drachmas, gold statues, jewels, bejeweled items and other such things, and all of it combined would actually be able to count as a quarter of what I have in my vault. I left it all alone though since for all I know, some of the items could be cursed and it isn't like I really needed it since as I said, I have more than that in my vault.

Now I was sitting on one of the elevated platforms in the lair with my legs crossed as I silently meditated to clear my head and pass the time while waiting for Hermes. It was then I was brought out of my thoughts by the sound of someone whistling in a way that showed they were impressed by something. I opened my eyes and saw none other than Lord Hermes who was checking out the weapons that the Telchines had forged before he said.

"Have to hand it to the Telchines, for psycho dog fish guys, they make some pretty impressive stuff." He picked up a bow and pulled the string back, forming an arrow of light. "I can see why Poseidon wants this stuff out of the reach of mortals." He then placed it into his satchel that before it sank into it before he turned to me. "Hiccup, good to see you again." I smiled as I stood up and bowed.

"It is good to see you as well Lord Hermes." I then stood up. "So, what's going to happen to all these weapons and materials?" Hermes began examining and gathering the weapons and placing them in his satchel.

"They'll be handed over to Hephaestus and dismantled, altered or placed in the armory for safe keeping while the materials will be put into storage for later use." I nodded. "You know before I came into this room to start collecting stuff, I found a room full of treasure and was wondering why you didn't take any of it."

"I wasn't sure if it had some sort of curse or protective spell on it, so I wanted to avoid it in case I triggered some sort of trap." He nodded.

"Now that I can understand but don't worry, I checked all of that stuff and there's nothing magical about it other than its value to mortals."

"Then what were Telchines doing with it?"

"Probably just collected it from sunken ships as a hobby." He shrugged. "At least that's what I think." He then smiled. "Good news for you though." I raised an eyebrow.

"How?"

"Poseidon told me that the weapons and materials are to be handed over to Hephaestus but any mortal treasures you find, are all yours." I smiled since the treasures would make good additions to my vaults various sections, especially the statues since at times I like to go down there and admire their beauty. "Go ahead and gather up that stuff since it's going to take me some time to see what these things do; how dangerous they are and then load them up." I smiled and nodded before making my way out to gather the treasures.

15 minutes later

The treasury was completely emptied of all treasures with them all now safely placed within my spiderpack until I could unload the items in my vaults various sections. Now I was sitting down on one of the platforms, watching Hermes finish his examination of the remaining items since he asked that I wait for him while he finished up his job. It was then he put a sickle into his bag while smiling as he said.

"Well that's the last of it." He then turned to me. "Alright, let's get going." I raised an eyebrow.

"To where?" He smiled.

"Atlantis, Poseidon wants to talk to you now that his son is locked up in Tartarus." I nodded.

"Let's get going then."

He smiled and took my hand before there was a bright flash that came with Hermes taking me somewhere and when I opened my eyes again I was not in the undersea cavern anymore. Instead I was in a giant room made with orange marble with multiple giant glass windows that took up most of the curved back wall with giant corals that were glowing light blue at their bottoms, lighting up the giant, circle shaped pool in front of them and above was a dome shaped glass roof. Behind this pool was a large stairway that lead up to a giant throne with a shell shaped back, a large blue stone hippocampus on either side and sitting on the throne with triton in hand was none other than Poseidon himself. Hermes walked up and gestured to me as he said.

"Here he is lord Poseidon, dropped off safe and sound as ordered and now if that is all, I have a bag of weapons to get to Hephaestus." As soon as he said that, he disappeared leaving me alone with Poseidon who said.

"Hiccup Haddock, I welcome you to my palace but I am sure you are wondering why I have brought you here." I nodded. "I have given you this honor, so few mortals have been given because you were able to stop my son from wreaking havoc on both the worlds of the gods and the mortals while also saving my weapon and most trusted item."

"But I let the Telchines get away."

"They will be brought to justice eventually as I have had Hermes inform the gods who watch over Japan to keep an eye out for both them and the one who helped them escape." I nodded but it didn't help me stop worrying. "Now then, you faced a great deal of trials and helped me recover in your home so the least I can do is allow you to do the same in my own home as it does not take a god to see that you suffered internal injuries in the battle against my son." I smiled at this since seeing Poseidon's palace was a once in a lifetime opportunity.

"I thankyou lord Poseidon but what of my family since they'll be worried about me if I don't return soon."

"I have already taken the liberty of having them informed about your need to recover so there is no need for you to worry." I smiled and bowed.

"Thankyou lord Poseidon." With that said, my recovery time in Poseidon's palace began.

Unknown location

Nobodies POV:

In a hidden cave a hooded figure looked down on the bodies of the Telchines who had begun waking up from the smoke that put them to sleep when Hiccup was about to capture them. The figure smiled beneath his hood and said.

"It is good to see you four are finally waking up." They all looked up at him before the Telchine with a Chinese style moustache asked.

"Why did you save us?"

"I did it because I have something that requires the help you four." The Telchine who had his eyes covered asked.

"What is it you wish for us to do?"

"I want you to aid in the revival of my master by forging him a new body." The Telchine with a short muzzle replied.

"Not even we can forge something out of nothing, and you expect us to forge something so complex without proper materials?" The figure shook his head and gestured to a table against the wall that held all the items he had gathered from the places Hiccups adventures had taken place.

"I have already precured the items needed to create a body, worthy of my master." He gestured to an old shriveled up branch."A corrupted branch from the world tree," He gestured to a small pile of stones. "dark rune magic used to bind a rainbow serpent," He gestured, a crystal ball with a black substance moving around the inside as if it were alive. "dark essence of the apocalypse, taken from the book created to control the four horsemen." He then gestured to a clear crystal ball. "a crystal core from a fallen champions ship," He gestured to an orb holding a liquid that resembled the night sky. "essence of the pharaohs serpent," He pointed to a skull with a small ruby in the forehead. "skull of the high priest of Kali turned demon," He then gestured to the last item which was a silver ball that opened to reveal a green flame. "and the magical core of the fallen king of genies." He smirked at the shocked looks on their faces. "Will these materials do?" The Telchines all smiled and nodded before the long muzzled one said.

"These materials will do just fine, but we will need a piece of your master to complete the body and make it possible for his soul to inhabit." The figure smiled and raised his hand before a long black wood box with red decorations painted on it floated out of an opening in the wall and into his arms before he opened it and showed its contents to the Telchines who reared back in disgust at the contents.

"The piece of my master that you shall use for the body." They nodded as he closed the chest.

"We shall get to work immediately then." He nodded as the Telchines made their way over to the table and examined the items while he rubbed the box. "You shall soon be returned to this world master and I shall be at your side when you do, to aide you in any way that I can as your loyal servant and advisor." With that said, he turned back to the Telchines and watched them work.

AN: Another chapter completed and with it comes some answers to the reviews about this being one of the latest Greek adventures and as to why there are so many of them. The answer to that is simple, during those ancient times both Rome and Greece were some of the most advanced civilizations during that time and of course has the most mythical beasts for Hiccup to take on. Along with that I'm giving him somethings that I've been planning on giving him since the end of the 'dreamworks dragons' series while also bringing in the Telchines to use the items the hooded figures been gathering. As for the character, who is he, who is his master, what was in the box and how does Hiccups adventures fit into all of this, that is a question that shall be answered at a later time. Besides that, if you have any thoughts on places he can go and foes he can face then just let me know in either a PM or a review and we'll see if I can add it in somewhere. Also to INFERN0BOLT I do intend to do a sequel to this story but not until it's done which won't be for a good long time. For now though to all readers, have a nice day and seriously guys, I'd like some reviews as the last two chapter only got 4 each and the one before them only got 3 and it's making me wonder if anyone is actually reading the new chapters. In other words, please hit me with some feedback in the form of a review because reading them gives me something else to do on boring days.
