Chapter 240

Hiccups POV:

It's been two days since I took on the hihi and in that time, things have been pretty peaceful with me being able to check out what's happened to my staff and I was amazed with the changes it's gone through. For starters it could now separate into three joints making a three-section staff known as a Sanjiegun which is a weapon that's designed to get around defenses like shields and barriers using the chains to swing one of the end joints around it. It's also a lot more powerful than a regular bo staff since the links allow the joints to build up more momentum for the strike but it was also not the least bit easy to use. The reason for this besides its unique form that makes it hard to maneuver, it's also a weapon that requires perfect coordination between the sticks and the feet and when it is, one needs to concentrate all their strength from feet, to knees, to waist, to shoulders and then up to the ends of the weapon to unlock the true strength of the weapon. Fortunately, my training under the Ancient One included training to use multiple weapons which included the Sanjiegun and it was a very painful thing to learn how to use since I kept hitting myself in the nose or in the back of my head and other places.

Along with that it could also separate into two to form dual combat sticks that I am happy to say, I am also well trained in using thanks to my training so I could use both my staff's new forms. What amazed me the most though was the fact that the golden ends could open up to let loose a small ball of light that could give out such a shock it could knock out a lion as if it were nothing and on top of that, it could also take the form of a crescent moon halberd. This blade had not trouble cutting through stone as if it were nothing, meaning it would be a handy item when I wanted to surprise an enemy since it can appear in a second. When it was in its dual combat stick form though, it couldn't bring out the same blade and instead would turn the light into a long dagger like spearhead.

Now I was making my way towards a river on my kappa shell to take a break and maybe try and grab a few fish for lunch and dinner since I didn't want to go through all my remaining food. When I reached the river, I picked up my kappa shell helmet and put it away as I took a breath and walked up to the river before looking in to see if I could find any fish I could grab. I stared at the water looking for any fish before slamming my prosthetic into the water, quickly grabbing a passing fish and pulling it out of the water. I smiled as the fish squirmed in my grasp before I looked back into the water but when I did, I dropped the fish back in and jumped to the side just as a large tetsubo came down right on the spot where I once was. I looked at the creature that attacked me with the club and just cost me my lunch and saw a large red skinned creature with messy black hair, a messy black beard, two curved yellow horns, wearing a black loincloth and in his hand was a large black tetsubo with spiked studs. It wasn't hard to tell that the creature was an oni and wanted me dead but if it served Akuhei, I didn't know and to be honest, I didn't care since it clearly wanted me dead and one less demon in the world would be better for those who travel through the area. The oni glared at me as I said.

"You just cost me my lunch." It growled. "I don't suppose you could tell me, if you work for Akuhei?" The oni glared at me as it growled.

"How dare you speak my former masters name human."

"I think I have the right as I'm the one who defeated him." The Oni's eyes widened before he growled.

"You will pay for the death of my master human and when he returns, I will be rewarded." I chuckled and released my bo staff.

"If you think it'll be that easy then you've clearly had too many blows to your head." He growled and charged at me making me smile as I muttered. "Get your opponent angry and they're bound to make mistakes and things become easier." With that said I switched my prosthetic into its dragon claw form before our battle began.

Nobodies POV:

The oni slammed its tetsubo down towards Hiccup who quickly jumped back to avoid the blow but as soon as the tetsubo struck the ground and shattered the ground, ten feet around it with a shockwave that went through the ground. Hiccup stared at the weapon in shock and knew it was not something that he'd be able to stand a strike from so avoiding being hit with it is something he had to do. The Oni growled and swung the weapon at Hiccup who leaned his entire back backwards avoiding the blow by just three inches before he stood back up straight and saw the oni's back was turned due to the force of the swing. Hiccup swung his bo staff right into the back of its knees forcing the oni to its knees, but it avoided hitting the ground, using its tetsubo to support itself. This was enough to allow Hiccup to know that the oni's tactics mainly focused on pure brute force and the strength of its weapon. This of course made it similar to Viking combat since most Vikings did the same with only seasoned warriors using time and training to develop their own strategies to fight their opponents. Knowing this, Hiccup knew that despite this oni's crude fighting methods, it didn't mean finishing it off would be easy for him to deal with.

With this in mind, Hiccup quickly slammed his bo staff into the beasts back, while releasing one of the balls from the golden ends and released a powerful shock into the oni's body making it roar in pain as white bolts traveled around its body. It was then the oni swung its body around while swinging the tetsubo with it in an attempt to strike Hiccup away from it, so he could not use the staff on it again. Hiccup jumped back to avoid the tetsubo and giving the oni some room before the oni turned back to him and glared daggers at him, but all Hiccup did was smirk at it, further angering the oni. He then thrust his tetsubo forward towards Hiccup who was standing in front of a boulder but Hiccup tuck and rolled out of the way of the weapon. The second the tetsubo contacted the boulder, it shattered beyond repair, showing the strength of the weapon while Hiccup took the opportunity to swing his staff into the stomach of the oni.

The oni tumbled back, gripping its stomach in pain while growling in pain and glaring at Hiccup who smirked at the oni as he began thinking of a way to defeat this beast. Knowing it was time to stop holding back, Hiccup released the halberd blades on one end of his bo staff and charged at the oni, ready to kill it. He stabbed his halberd forward but the oni dodged to the side but Hiccup quickly pulled it back and thrust it forward before repeating the process in an attempt to injure the oni but also to fool the oni into thinking the bo staff was simply a bo staff. The reason for this is Hiccup was hoping to keep his bo staff's new abilities a secret so he could catch the oni by surprise and do some serious damage when the time to strike was right. He was brought out of his thoughts when the oni let out another roar of anger and slammed its club down to the ground, causing a shockwave that succeeded in throwing Hiccup back and onto the ground. The oni charged at his downed foe and slammed his club down towards him but Hiccup dodged to the side with a roll and stood back up, glaring at the oni and knew he needed to end this now.

Hiccup charged at the oni and swung the staff from the left at the oni's head but the oni raised its tetsubo up to block the blow, making Hiccup smile since he figured the oni would do so. He quickly pulled his hands back to the end of the pole and then released the joints, turning his staff into a Sanjiegun with the end joint that had the blade, swing around the club towards the oni's head. The oni didn't realize what had happened to the staff until it looked to the side, just in time to see the blade come at its neck right before the blade made contact. The blade cut right through his neck, completely severing the oni's head from its body, right before Hiccup jumped back, while turning his weapon back into its staff form. Hiccup smirked as the oni's body fell to its knees and the rest of its body followed onto the ground right after the head landed with the tetsubo falling onto its side.

Hiccup let out a sigh of relief as he fell to the ground and but smiled knowing that things were going to be quiet for him, at least for now. Then his eyes landed on the tetsubo and sighed knowing he couldn't leave the thing alone out here since someone who's working for Akuhei might come to retrieve it which would mean trouble in the future for him. He took a breath and stood back up before walking up to the tetsubo and taking the handle with his prosthetic but when he tried to lift it, he felt like he was trying to lift a giant boulder. It was then a voice from behind him said.

"Don't even bother Hiccup, that tetsubo is enchanted with powerful magic that will prevent you from wielding it." Hiccup turned to see Asami making her way towards him. "It's nothing a quick trip to the dragon forge shouldn't be able to solve though." Hiccup raised an eyebrow.

"And how long were you watching me?"

"I arrived somewhere in the middle of the fight and decided to enjoy the show." Hiccup rolled his eyes before smiling.

"So, what brings you here Asami?"

"I came to warn you that some of Akuhei's former followers have caught wind that their master has returned and are hurrying to return to him and I highly doubt that I need to tell you what the first order he gives them will be." Hiccup nodded.

"I know, he's going to send them after my head." She nodded and walked up to the tetsubo.

"Just be careful Hiccup." She then placed a paw on the tetsubo. "I'll get this back to you as soon as it's cleansed and usable." She then disappeared with the tetsubo while Hiccup sighed.

"I better hurry and find Akuhei before he can fully regain his power." With that said, he continued on his journey.

Nightfall

The Dragon Forge

The master of the dragon forge examined and held up the tetsubo in his hands while nodding in approval and turning to the kitsune who'd been laying against the wall, watching him work. Asami sat up in her place and asked.

"I take it you've finished with the tetsubo?" The master nodded.

"Indeed, it was a little more difficult than the last few projects you brought me but I enjoy a challenge." Asami nodded and walked up to him.

"I'll get this to Hiccup immediately." The master smiled at the mention of Hiccup.

"You know I still can't believe that boy is back in Japan although I have to say I am grateful since he gives me work to do." Asami raised her head.

"I take it things have been quiet for you?"

"Let me put it to you this way, the last projects I was given before Hiccups return was the last time he was here." Asami raised an eyebrow. "What can I say, not that many people are worthy of receiving an item from the dragon forge." Asami nodded.

"Humans these days." He nodded.

"By the way old friend, how is your daughter doing as I heard she was finally freed from Edwards collection." Asami growled at the mention of the former champion who imprisoned her daughter before taking a breath to calm herself.

"She is doing well but she has been requesting me to arrange a meeting with Hiccup."

"That's understandable as she would want to thank him for freeing her."

"I'm afraid it's a bit more than that." The master raised an eyebrow. "She's viewed images of his past battles and heard of all his heroic exploits." The master smiled in understanding.

"And now she's formed a crush on him." Asami nodded.

"I'm just worried how she'll react if she actually meets him face to face." The master chuckled.

"She'd probably make a fool of herself like most girls." He then noticed the annoyed look Asami was giving him and stopped chuckling. "Listen, just wait till this adventure is over and then you can see if he'll meet your daughter since it better to help her get it out of her system." Asami sighed and nodded.

"Very well but for now, I better get this tetsubo to Hiccup before he turns in for the night." With that said, she disappeared with the tetsubo.

2 days later

Hiccups POV:

It's been two days since I beat the oni and in that time, things have been peaceful with no trouble, yokai or normal people but I knew just because of this, I shouldn't let my guard down. Still though, it gave me the chance to test out the tetsubo which I have to say was impressive since it packed one powerful punch to the point that I gently swung it into a boulder and it shattered to pieces. I tried out every move I could think of that allowed me to use the tetsubo and I was not the least bit disappointed since I turned the rocky terrain I was training in, into a gravel pit in ten minutes flat. It was through this training I learnt how to create shock waves and even learnt that in addition to the shock wave, I could make boulders shoot up from the ground, one by one to form a long line that would sink back into the ground when I removed the tetsubo. After I got good grasp of the abilities that the tetsubo I continued my journey through japans countryside.

Earlier today though, I found a town but before I entered, I took out some black Japanese robes from my spiderpack and kept my kappa shell helmet on my head since I didn't want to draw attention in my ninja outfit. Soon after arriving, I went to a restaurant and quietly sat at a table while enjoying a bowl of ramen soup, a Japanese delicacy with a side of dumplings and some tea. While I sat there though I kept an open ear for what was going on around in this town since everyone seemed to be uneasy and on edge about something with everyone looking around in fear. Apparently, there's been a few disappearances in the past few weeks with young men not making it home at night and patches of blood staining the streets. There'd been some people claiming it was a woman with hooks in her hair who was killing these men in gruesome ways before devouring the chunks of meat.

I admit that this sounded familiar from something I'd read about in one of the books I found in Akuhei's library on various yokai that eat humans, but I couldn't remember much about it. Still though, I wasn't going to leave this town until I dealt with whatever it was that had been killing the people since I couldn't leave it alone to continue to take the lives of this town's citizens. This brings us to now, with me out of the robes and back in my ninja gear, rushing across the roofs of the town while looking for anything out of the ordinary but so far things have been quiet. It was then the sound of someone's scream of horror caught my attention and I quickly rushed towards where the scream came from to see what was happening.

When I reached the place where I heard the scream come from and looked down to see a young man who looked to be in his early twenties, running from a woman whose hair looked to be alive with red hooks on the end that were trying to catch the guy. I quickly took out three smoke bombs and tossed them at the woman, covering her body in smoke and making her stop while pulling her hair back, allowing the man to escape. Just to be sure though I jumped between the woman and the man who was fleeing as fast as he could while the smoke began to clear to reveal the woman once more who was now glaring daggers at me while raising her hooks that were rattling in anger. It was then I remembered what this thing was, a hari onago which is a creature that appears as a lovely young woman to lure in young men before releasing their hair, using the barbed hooks to lash out with a will of their own. They then sink deep into their victim's flesh and once the victim is ensnared and rendered helpless, they rip them into pieces with the hooks and devours the remains. I had the feeling Akuhei had something to do with this one being here since they're native to the island of the island of Shikoku and I knew from the people that this was not the island of Shikoku and I made my thoughts known by saying.

"I take it Akuhei has something to do with you being here?" She growled and hissed at me. "I'll take that as a yes." I then took out my bo staff since I didn't want to damage the street or nearby buildings while fighting this thing. "Alright, you want to go a few rounds before I stop you from hurting anyone else." She just growled and raised her hooks while violently shaking them making me smirk. "Alright lady, let's dance!" With that said, I switched my prosthetic into its dragon claw form and our fight began.

Nobodies POV:

The hari onago launched her hooks at Hiccup at speed that made them seem like a blur to the average human, but Hiccup was not your average person. Thanks, his ninja and kung fu training that mixed with the eye of the dragon, the hooks looked to be coming at him at half the speed, but they were still fast. Hiccup was quick to run at the hari onago, dodging the hooks that she launched towards him in an attempt to stop him in his tracks, but Hiccup used his ox flame boots speed mode with his ninja skills to dodge every hook. When he felt that he was close enough to the body of the yokai, he thrust his bo staff forward towards the hari onago's head, hoping to knock the wind out of it before shocking it with the ball of light at the end.

Before the staff could reach the yokai though, she quickly pulled her hair back and had most of it, gather up in front of her to form a shield that blocked Hiccups blow. Hiccup didn't get the chance to dwell on this for too long though as the remaining hooks that hadn't been used to block the blow had been redirected to attack Hiccup from all sides, ready to tear him apart. Hiccup quickly slammed the end of his staff into the ground before extending the top up high with him holding on tightly to it, lifting him above the hooks that had just barely missed him. Hiccup then leapt off his staff to put some distance between the hari onago and him before landing a good twelve feet away from the yokai and himself while summoning his staff back to his hand.

He glared at the hari onago who unraveled her hair and smirked at him from behind her long locks of hair while swinging the hooks around to mock him a bit. She then held up her left hand and gave him a gesture with her fingers that told him to come at her while keeping that arrogant smirk on her face. Hiccup growled knowing that she was just mocking him to make him angrier so he'd make mistakes that would lead to her victory and his death, but he wasn't going to fall for it. He knew that she'd try and attack him from both sides and knew he'd need to be able to block the hooks from both his right and left side, so he split his staff into dual combat sticks. He spun them both around rapidly in his hands before grabbing them both and slamming them together in front of him to form a cross that was aimed at the hari onago.

The hari onago in turn smirked at Hiccup while rattling her hooks before launching them at him but Hiccup expected this and charged right at them. He was quickly approaching the yokai while using the sticks to deflect and block the multiple hairs that came at him hoping to get another chance at killing the hari onago by having it focus all its attention on attacking him, giving it no time to pull them back to defend itself. As Hiccup closed in on the hari onago he continued to block and redirect the various hooks but when he was three feet away from her, he released the blades from the tips of his sticks and lunges at her. Sadly, multiple locks of hooked hairs came out from behind her back and once again formed the shield that blocked Hiccups blow and kept it from reaching her. When Hiccup saw this, he quickly retreated while blocking and redirecting a few more of her hook hairs using his sticks as he tried to figure out a way to get to the hari onago but knew in order to do so, he'd first need to stop her hairs somehow.

Hiccup began trying to think of a way to restrain the hairs before his mind flashed back to his battle with the hihi and how he was able to blind it and an idea formed in his head. Hiccup quickly released four legs of his spiderpack and had them latch onto his arms and legs before he turned back to the hari onago and smirked since he now had a plan to take this yokai down, starting with restraining her hooked hair locks. Hiccup then began running away while making multiple turns, hoping to confuse the hari onago and realized that he was successful when her hooks began overlapping with each other. Hiccup kept this up for a few moments, waiting for the right moment to strike and then that moment arrived, and Hiccup was all too happy to take it.

When that moment arrived, he quickly slammed one of his sticks down onto three of the hooks, knocking them down to the ground before spraying the sticky goo onto them from the tip of the spiderpack leg that was on his right arm. Hiccup didn't get the chance to admire his work though as the other hooks were coming right at him and he needed to move but he did look back at the hooks he'd pinned down with goo. He smiled and knew his plan would work when he saw the hooks, he'd pinned down with his goo weren't moving out of it and were in fact, struggling to escape it, failing to do so. Knowing how to ensure the hooks wouldn't be able to come after him again, he put his plan into action and continued to do the same to the other hooks.

After spending five minutes pinning down the hooks along with parts of the hair locks using the goo to stick them down to the streets and the walls making the hari onago look as if lightning had struck her. She didn't care though as it had been during this time that Hiccup had kept her distracted by hurling multiple insults at her to both anger and distract her so she wouldn't realize that her hooks had been pinned. It was only when Hiccup began charging at her again and she began pulling her hooks back did she realize that they weren't moving from their spots. She looked around and saw why and realized she'd been tricked and when she turned back to Hiccup, she was just in time to see Hiccup plunge both blades right into her gut. She leaned forward as her wound glowed right before she let out an inhuman shriek and slowly faded from existence but as she did, a bit of the light was absorbed into his prosthetic.

Hiccup didn't notice though as he was too busy catching his breath since he'd been bouncing around all over the place to avoid the hooks. Once he'd caught his breath Hiccup immediately took off out of the area, knowing that if he was caught after that inhuman scream, then there'd be a lot of questions and he did not want to spend his night answering them. He was in such a rush that he didn't notice the large bird in the shadows who'd watched the entire scene with a neutral look in its eyes before it took off after him into the darkness.

Akuheis lair

The walls of the cave rattled as Akuhei roared in absolute rage at the vision of one of his more skilled assassins being defeated by Hiccup Haddock through the eyes of his bird before he could even contact her. He growled but then realized which way he was going and smiled knowing where the path he was on path lead to and knew he needed to get word to the one who lived in the mountains where Hiccup was heading to. Akuhei immediately summoned the hooded figure and told him to send word to the yokai he wanted to kill Hiccup and the hooded figure smiled as he said.

"Brilliant master, that fool's body won't even be found." Akuhei nodded.

"Indeed, that old hag and her serpents have never once failed to kill ones who invaded her land." He then let out a laugh that echoed through the cave.

3 days later

Hiccups POV:

It's been three days since I beat the hari onago and in that time not much has happened other than me finding out some new abilities my prosthetic had that were most likely gained from the hari onaga. The abilities was how I could make barbed hooks come out of either my prosthetics finger tips or my knuckles and these hooks had no trouble cutting through stone and to make the ones on the tip of my fingers could be released but connected to my wires. I had spent some time practicing the use of these hooks the way the hari onaga did by using an old dead tree as my target and was amazed how I could hook the hooks into the bark in various places and then turn the tree into a pile of wood. This type of fighting was going to take a lot of training before I used it in a real battle but if I kept running into dangerous yokai who were after my life, then I highly doubt I'd have that luxury.

Now I was riding my kappa shell helmet while making my way through a large forest with autumn leaves which made me smile since it reminded me of the autumn forest back on my island where the snake guardians lived. I sighed in a little sadness since it brought back memories of the stunning white snake that I was lucky enough to be able to call my wife. It was then, I was brought out of my thoughts when the sound hissing from my side caught my attention and I stopped the kappa shell, just in time to avoid a snake that came flying out of the bushes and at me.

I didn't get to dwell on this for long since two more came at me, but I quickly dodged them and brought my kappa shell helmet back up, quickly using it as a shield to knock away three more snakes that came at me. I then put it away while pulling out my bo staff and quickly rushing down the path while swatting away multiple snakes that came out of the bushes and from the trees. I continued to make my way through the woods with snakes coming at me from all directions until I reached a large clearing and looked around while glaring as I yelled out.

"WHY DON'T YOU STOP SENDING YOU'RE PETS AND COME FACE ME YOURSELF!" It was then a voice came from behind one of the trees asked.

"You knew I was there?" I shrugged.

"It wasn't that hard to figure out someone was controlling the snakes and having them attack me."

It was then a woman, if you could call such a creature that, walked out from behind the tree and she was not a pretty thing to look at in the least. Her skin was grey as a storm cloud with multiple wrinkles covering every inch of her skin, her hair was grey, and a tangled mess and her face reminded me of a troll I saw in a kids picture book. As for clothing, she wore a messy old kimono that was dark blue in color, had the sleeves ripped off and ended at her knees and had snake patterns around it but what caught my attention the most was how she was carrying a blue snake in her right hand and a red snake in her left hand with their tails wrapped around her shoulders. I looked at her and remembered reading about such a hag in a book and said.

"Jakotsu babā I presume?" She glared at me while exposing her crooked yellow teeth.

"So, you've heard of me?" I shrugged.

"Just stories but since you're out to kill me, I take it you're working for Akuhei."

"I serve no one other than myself."

"Then let me pass through and I'll let you get back to your life in solitude."

"After how you not only spooked my pets but hurt some of them."

"In my defense your pets were attacking me, so I needed to defend myself."

"I do not care, nor will I let you leave alive." I sighed and readied my bo staff knowing there was no way to talk my way out of this one, so I got ready for a fight by turning my prosthetic into its dragon claw form.

Nobodies POV:

Jakotsu babā glared at Hiccup before cracking the red snake at him like a whip with the snake extending its body to try and reach him but Hiccup was faster and although it caught him by surprise, he was able to dodge to the side. He didn't get that much time to recover before the snake was pulled back while the blue snake was cracked at him, but he was able to dodge it by three feet and watched as the snake sprayed venom from its fangs. What caught his attention the most though was how powerful the venom was since when it hit the ground, all the surrounding grass within three feet died as if the life was drained from it. Hiccup didn't get to ponder the strength of the acid for too long though as Jakotsu babā used his attention on the venom as a distraction to launch the red snake at him.

Hiccup dived out of the way as the snake struck a nearby tree instead and then pulled back, shocking Hiccup by showing how powerful the bite was when it took a sizable chunk out of the tree right before it died. From this Hiccup knew that if either one of the snakes sunk their fangs into him, he'd be dead, even with his immunity to various poisons since if the venom didn't kill him, then the bite would by taking a large chunk of him. Hiccup quickly ducked the ground in order to avoid the blue snake at him, which had its fangs aimed at him before tucking and rolling to the side. Hiccup hoped to end this quickly, so he rushed towards the old hag while one of her snakes was still stretched out, so her defense was temporarily weakened.

When he was closing in on her body though she swung the red snake right at him from the side while the blue snake was pulled back in such a way that it was coming towards him from behind and made it so the snakes were circling his body. Knowing he couldn't get close to her at this moment, Hiccup quickly backflipped away and over the blue snake, allowing him to avoid the blows from the snakes but barely. Hiccup knew he'd need to first deal with the snakes before he could get to the old hag and quickly dodged another attack, while he tried to figure out a way to stop them from moving. It was then he remembered how he beat hari onaga by pinning the hooks of her hair and knew that if he pinned the snakes down somehow, he could get to the old hag.

He dodged another strike from the red snake and knew that the goo from his spiderpack wouldn't do any good here since spraying out enough to cover the snakes head and pin it to the ground would take time and Jakotsu babā was keeping a close eye on her snakes so she'd pull them back to her quickly before he could pin them. It was then Hiccup looked at his bo staff and an idea immediately formed in his head on how he could pin the snakes to the ground together before he turned his staff into its Sanjiegun form. Hiccup smirked at Jakotsu babā and asked.

"Is this the best you got?" Before she could reply he continued with. "Only cracking your overgrown scaled worms one at a time but then again, it's expected that you'd want one to hold me and the other to kill me since you're so slow and your pets are too weak to kill me alone." Jakotsu babā growled out.

"My pets shall feast upon your corpse." She then cracked both snakes at Hiccup, sending both heads flying right at him but then yanked and twisted them in a way so their bodies crisscrossed each other making Hiccup smile as they closed in.

"Gotcha!"

When they were only five feet away, Hiccup extended his staff to the ground, lifting him up ten feet before he shrunk it back down just as the heads of the snakes reached it. Hiccup quickly released the blade of his weapon and then slammed it down at the part where blue snakes body went over the red snakes and stabbed it right through their necks, behind the heads. The snakes roared in pain while Jakotsu babā gasped in horror at the sight of her serpents getting hurt in such a way that would also restrain them. Meanwhile Hiccup took the opportunity to bring out his tetsubo and charge at Jakotsu babā as she turned to glare at him and cry out.

"How dare you harm my babies." Hiccup just smirked as he rushed at her with his tetsubo in hand.

"They're in better condition than you're about to be."

A look of shock formed on her face when she noticed the weapon in his hands before he swung it into her gut, sending her flying into a nearby tree, unwinding her snakes as she did so. When she landed on the ground she looked up at Hiccup in horror as he pulled his tetsubo back and said.

"And this is for every life you and your pets have taken." He then slammed the tetsubo right into her head, shattering it and the tree behind it as Hiccup smiled and watched the body turn to dust, leaving only her clothes behind. "Well that takes care of that." He then turned to the snakes intending to finish them off as he did their mistress but stopped when he saw they had returned to their original sizes and turned to stone. "Guess I don't have to kill the snakes now." Hiccup reclaimed his bo staff and looked to the sky. "It's getting late." He looked at the pile of clothes that was Jakotsu babā and shrugged. "Maybe she had a house nearby where I can spend the night." Hiccup then looked around and realized there was nobody around. "I really have to stop talking to myself." With that said he took off in search of a place where he could spend the night.

1 hour later

Asami walked into the clearing and looked at the pile of clothes and leaned down before blowing all the dust away to reveal a jade pendant of a snake, circling its body to form a ring that radiated power as Asami examined it and said.

"Small but powerful." She picked it up with one of her tails and walked over to the snakes. "The same with these two snakes." She picked them up with her tails. "Maybe the dragon forge can do something and make new equipment or an upgrade for Hiccups current equipment." With that said she disappeared with the snakes.
