Impenetrable.

That was the word his mother used to describe the place Emma was being held. If he had any chance of getting out of Isaac's book, he needed to get to her. Which is why he found himself stood outside the tavern he knew the one person he knew would be able to get him into such a place was inside. He needed to speak to the woman that he had been seeing as his mother more and more, over the last few weeks.

Only inside the tavern was a woman that didn't know him or what was really going on. But one thing remained was the assassin's connection with his mother. Everything clicked into place with the pair even in a cursed reality, even if one of them didn't believe him.

Reaching out to open the door to let himself into the Brotherhood den, his fingers barley touched the door before he the back of his jacket was gabbed by an unknown assailant as he was forced around, pushed against a hard brick wall as he saw a pair of familiar brown eyes meet his as he felt the cool steel of a hidden blade being held up against his throat for the second time that day.

"Who are you?" his cousin growled in his face with a hard look on his face as his arm dug into his chest making him completely immobile to the strength his cousin possessed.

"T-Tom" he couldn't help but splutter in surprise seeing him.

"How do you know my name?" the teenager asked him, his brows furrowing in confusion before they became serious again in a split second "You're a spy aren't you?!"

"H-" he didn't get a chance to reply as he was pushed through the tavern door and thrown on to the wooden floor with a thump as the patron's inside came a sudden still hearing the ruckus the entrance making the redheaded assassin jump from her seat next to Zelena, making the latter squeak of surprise as the assassin left her side to deal with whatever her son had brought into the tavern, as the assassin's around them tensed up seeing the stranger none of them had brought into the establishment themselves.

People outside the Brotherhood had to be invited into the tavern they trusted enough not to go blabbing to the Queen's knights.

"Thomas!" her bellowing voice came as a welcoming relief to Henry as he look from the ground to see the woman herself storm towards her son "What have I told you about throwing your weight around?".

"He's a spy for the Queen" the teen informs his mother and Mentor "I caught him outside the door about to come in".

For the first time, Henry got a closer look at Tom in a set of assassin robes. The infamous white hood was retained by the teenager as brown leather padding encompassed his arm's and shoulders and chest. A wide red sash was tied around his waist fastened by a loose hanging belt, paired with white trousers and brown boots. The familiar pair of brown leather bracers sat on his arms as the teen stood over him.

Letting out a tired sigh the woman looked down at the boy on the wooden floor. Thomas was always like this, a little too protective, but she had to accept it, being the son of the second most wanted person in the Enchanted Forest, you needed to feel a little wary of who was around the person you loved the most.

Turning her attention to the boy on the floor she crouched down on her heels to meet his gaze as he saw the eyes that belonged to his third mother looking straight back at him. Seeing her up close for the first time she saw how she resembled the way she looked when the first curse had broken, with her fairy redhead stopping short of her neck.

"I apologize for my son's roughness. He still forgets that just because he posses the strength to throw people around, doesn't mean he has to. But I'm sure you understand our..vigilance of stranger's. I'm going to give you one chance to answer a question, I have a..trick that tells me when someone's lying to me" he nods in understanding.

"Are you a spy?" the redhead asked him as she see's her eyes suddenly blinked gold knowing she was using her sixth sense to see whether he was a threat or not. For any other person they would have missed it, but he knew her well enough to know what she was doing.

To answer her question, Henry silently shook his head at the woman earning a gentle smile from the redhead that loved him as her own son "Thank you for your cooperation" she tells him before standing back up to speak to her son.

"What do you say Thomas?" she prompted the teen.

Stepping forwards the teen held out a helping hand to the younger boy, after a beat Henry takes his hand allowing Tom to pull him off the floor "I'm sorry" Tom tells him giving him a grateful nod.

"Are you okay?" the redhead asks the younger boy in the odd clothing.

"Yeah I am now" he says seeing his best friend and third mother stood in front of him. If there was anyone in this book that could get to Emma it would be them.

"So what brings you here?"

"My name is Henry and I need your help".

Listening to the boy's tale, the Master Assassin couldn't help but feel sorry for the boy sat in front of her as he re-told his story for the second time that day. He looked lost as he tried to convince her to help him find this..savior.

Sat alone on the same table she was with the bandit Regina, the boy took the woman's space as she assassin tried to shake the woman out of her head as she tried to concentrate on what Henry was trying to tell her.

"The savior?" she stated to the boy, repeating what he had just said to her.

"Her name is Emma, she's my Mom" he tells her "So you do know her" he asked the woman in front of him.

"Stories" she tells him "They passed through the Brotherhood a while ago of a sorceress more powerful than Snow White, tried to find her myself a few times. She's on an island in the middle of the Bottomless Sea. If you have any chance of getting there, you'll need a ship and a Captain. The place isn't as impenetrable as you think it is".

"Then you can help me" he says which only made the redhead shake her head at him.

"You don't understand. There's someone guarding her I'm more worried about. It's why I haven't gone there myself to find this..Emma".

"Who?" he asked shaking his head in confusion. The redhead seemed to hesitate to answer his question as she checked her surroundings to make sure they weren't being overheard.

"The Black Widow" she tells the boy in hushed voice. The name came as a surprise to the young boy, but it made sense, if there was an Evil Queen, there had to be a Black Widow to serve her.

"She was an assassin" Amelia went on "Part of the Brotherhood until she left and defected over to the Queen a few years ago taking something that belonged to me with her, after a..disagreement. My mother took her in when she was a young girl and raised us together until she was killed by our father".

"Wait!" Henry exclaimed as his he heard what she had just said "Anastasia's the Black Widow?!" he continued a too loudly for the redhead's liking as she quickly covered his mouth with her hand.

"Shhh! Keep your voice down" she hissed at him "I have worked hard to keep her name from being uttered in this place. I will not have a boy with dreams of saviors and curses to ruin everything I have built. I need to leave this place while I still can".

"But she's your sister" he argued.

"My sister died the day she put that dark hood over her head. Ever she has served the Queen the woman lacks to be the girl I used to love as a sister".

"Then why are you leaving?".

"This place lacks the man power I need to take the fight to the Queen. I need to look elsewhere for it".

"That's why you needed my Mom?" he asked her.

"What?" she asks in confusion.

"The bandit. Regina" he quickly corrected himself "That's why you tried to recruit her, because you need her to fight Snow for you. You were never planning on fighting her yourself".

"Henry, you don't understand-".

"You're scared of her". The statement rang true with the redhead as she seemed o flinch away from the boy that needed her help.

"You would be too if you knew her like I do".

"Your running" he states.

This wasn't the woman he knew. Issac had written her as a the coward, the one that would run at any sign of danger . Back home she was always the one running into the fire without second thought to her own safety. But here, she was doing everything in her power to stop her from ever confronting the Evil Queen and her Black Widow.

"This place" she starts shaking her head as frustrated tears threatened to leave her eyes "Is not the same place I once knew. Day by day, she gets stronger while the Brotherhood is only getting weaker the longer I'm here. I need to take my son and the other young-lings with me to start again. Taking the bandit with me was always part of the plan, but since she said no I still have to take the Brotherhood's best chance of surviving".

"Even if it means you lose this place" he tells her "Lose your friends?" he adds looking over to Robin and the band of men he had taken under his wing known as the Merry Men. She knew it would only be a matter of time until Snow White re-took this place.

It was this very tavern, she once sought out Robin and his wife's help to create a new Brotherhood to fight the Queen and find some sort of justice for her parents.

"Collateral damage" she forces herself to say to the boy in front of her "So I can come back stronger than before". She couldn't help but feel the waves of disappointment coming from him as he stands from the bench.

"You can't help me" he stated out-load, as long as she was like this the woman in front of him couldn't help him. Standing up to meet the boy he turned to leave as she stopped him going any further.

"Henry" she called out to him making him look back at her. Her eye's twitched with nervousness he hadn't seen first hand before as her finger tips tapped the surface of the surface of the wooden table "I'm sorry".

"It's not your fault. I'll save you Mom" he tells her with a reassuring tight lipped smile before letting himself out of the tavern leaving the idea of her help behind him.

Stepping out of the tavern, Henry turned his attention back to the issue at hand. Even if he couldn't get his third mother's help, she had given him more information about the place where Emma was being held. All he needed was a ship and Captain to get him there, luckily for him, he had one in mind.

"Hey wait!" Tom's voice stopped him heading for the docks as he turned back to see his best friend catch up to him.

"Look I'm sorry I-" he started to apologize to him only for Tom to stop him.

"No!" the older boy stopped him from speaking "I'ts not that. I overheard what you and my mother were talking about. I want to help you with your quest".

"You do?".

"Once you get to the island there's only one guard you need to get pass to get to this Emma. But then there's someone you won't be able to get pass, not even the savior could beat".

"I know about the Black Widow" Henry tells him.

"I know who she is" he informs the younger boy "You'll need someone to distract her while you get the savior. I can do that for you".

"Why do you want to help me?".

"I know why my Mom is scared going after the Queen herself. But it shouldn't stop her from helping you. I know what will happen once we leave this place" he sadly tells Henry "If there's a chance I can stop that from happening, the I need to be the one to take it for her".

A smile grew on Henry's face seeing his best friends eagerness to help him, glad to see that Isaac hadn't quite changed his friend. Amelia had been the intended target for the Author and Mr. Gold, changing her into someone he didn't recognize.

"Okay" the younger boy started "First we're going to need a ship, and I know the perfect one".

After acquiring the Jolly Roger from Black Beard, Henry had found Hook, but not as the confident pirate Captain, but as a hapless deckhand that didn't have a clue on what he was doing as he sailed two young boys towards the prison that held his mother.

With the plan getting the pair inside. Tom played his part as he held his hands over the other with a loose rope holding his wrists together as his head and face was covered was a knapsack with the same done with Henry next to him.

Escorting the boys through the narrow passageways, the teen's eye's lightly shone gold as he saw the guard that blocked their way, knowing the Black Widow wouldn't be far off.

At the end of the corridor was the one guard the young assassin knew about as he silently prayed to Odin that the shy pirate would be able to pull off what they needed from him.

"I'm here on official business for the queen" Hook announced to the guard as he brought the pair to them "Delivering a dangerous prisoners from the kingdom of Kashyyk".

Pulling the sack from Tom and Henry's head, the teen was thankful that the white hood remained over his head as it covered his face from view. Taking the guards curiosity, the faceless knight tried to get a good look of the face underneath the hood allowing Henry to quickly grab Hook's sword from his waist, hitting the pommel in the knights face, making the latter fall back unconscious.

"Well done lads" the pirate compliments the pair as they untie their hands and pulled their white hood down from their head.

"The Wookie prisoner gag. It always works" Henry tells the pair with a smug smirk only for the pair to look at him in confusion.

"The what?" Tom and Hook gaped at him in confusion. Right, he forgot he made his best friend watch Star Wars.

"Never mind" he sighs out taking the keys from the unconscious guard "Lock the guard in the cell" he instructs Killian "I'll be back with my mom as soon as I can" he tells Hook and Tom before heading down a corridor to find his mother.

"Well." the one-handed pirate didn't get a chance to question the young lad as he walked away from him to find his mother.

"If I'm not back to the ship in time, sail without me. I'll find my own way back".

"Wait.." his voice once again went unheard as the young assassin walked down the opposite direction as Henry looking for the thing that would turn the tide between the Brotherhood of Assassin and the Evil Queen Snow White once and for all.

Following the energy the object he needed gave off, the teen easily found himself in a circular room were the energy was at it's strongest. The door to the room was unlocked as he let himself, seeing the ball of power that would turn the tables for his mother. Quickly closing the distance between himself and the object her reached out for the Apple as the door behind him suddenly shut making him freeze in place as his hand hovered inches from the surface of the object he needed the most.

Slowly turning his head around he saw the blonde assassin that had been the bane of the Brotherhood's existence ever since she had switched her allegiance over to the Queen.

Underneath the dark hood that covered her head he saw the blonde hair that sat on her shoulder's. The light hair clashing with the black and purple robes that symbolized her loyalty to the Queen.

"Hello there" the Black Widow purred out in greeting as she flexed out her forearms making two golden hidden blades jumps out from the top of her wrists.

Gulping his heart in his throat, his mouth ran dry as he looked upon his next obstacle "Shit".

Informing his mother of breaking the curse with true loves kiss from Regina and Amelia, the blonde followed her son down the steps from the tower she had been chained in as he caught her up on events, so much that she didn't see the return of the hapless pirate returning from locking the guard in a cell, she literally ran into the man's chest as her eye's met his.

"Uh, Killian, this is my Mom, Killian" Henry introduced the pair as the pirate seemed to get lost in the woman's eye's as she couldn't help but melt into his chest.

"Uh..." Killian uttered seemingly coming out of his daze he cleared his throat, awkwardly offering the woman his hand in greeting "Yeah, um... Pleasure" he greets her as Emma takes it.

"Yeah. Right. Look, we need to..." she was interrupted as a voice she and Henry knew week called through the tight hallways.

"Excuse me! Coming through!" a voice called from down the hall as Emma pulled away from the pirate as a Tom shaped blur rushed passed her, bumping into Killian on the way before continuing on his way, quickly followed by a figure in a dark robe Emma recognized from the time she and Hook went back through time.

"Get back here boy!" the Widow yelled at the young assassin as she ignored the three people in the small space to run after the teenager leaving a wide eye's blonde savior behind them.

"Was..that?" she trailed off.

"Yeah Tom" Henry he answered her confirming his mother's suspicions "And Anastasia's-".

"The Black Widow, I know" Emma replied.

"Uh, whats this?" Killian spoke up to the pair as he held up a strange object in his hands. Looking to the pirate the pair saw something they had only seen Amelia with so far. The spherical object the Apprentice had urged the assassin get into her hands before they were taken. The Apple of Eden. Without her magic the savior couldn't feel the power coming off the object, but that didn't stop her from the bad feeling growing in her chest, having the object practically in her hands.

"Mom!" Henry called out to the savior "Lia must've brought it with her just before you went into the book".

"And she'll need it" Emma easily deduced for the trio "Come on, we need to go".

While Emma, Henry and Killian made their escape from the prison island and the dragon that guarded her Snow White was addressing her small council that consisted of her seven dwarfs and Granny sat around her round table in the Dark Castle, while Charming stood at the door. One chair sat empty that was ready for whenever her Black Widow would ever felt like making her presence known again.

While in still possession of her heart, the woman never left her disappointed as she guarded the Apple of Eden. Her prized possession. Taken from the Brotherhood of Assassin's when Anastasia Romanova came to her with the object of great power, she couldn't say no to the woman who had left the Brotherhood after a disagreement with the traitorous leader, Amelia Montague.

"Where is Regina's heart?" she addressed her council as they all avoided eye contact with her "No one? And what of the child? Surely you imbeciles aren't all stupid enough to report back here empty-handed".

"Actually, your majesty, they are exactly that stupid" Charming answered the Queen's question from behind her.

"We would have caught the bandit if Blue and her gaggle of uglies hadn't laid a trap of dark fairy dust, paralyzing our axes" Grumpy argued to the Queen.

"Always blaming the fairies"Granny spoke up from her seat "Maybe you should try and take responsibility for once, dwarf. Next you'll be blaming those damn assassins!".

"You mangy, flea-infested wolf. I should get a muzzle..."

"Silence" Queen Snow ordered her council growing tired of the fighting "We aren't here to fight. We're a team".

"So you're not... Mad?" Grumpy asks her in trepidation.

"Of course not" she tells him prowling behind her council as she spoke "It's not your fault. It's mine. You see, I am your leader, and I have to lead by example. We have to go to extreme lengths to succeed. And to do that..." she pauses before going back on herself to put herself behind Doc "I have to show you how. I have to motivate you".

Without mercy the Queen shoves her hand into Doc's back to grab his heart making him cream out in pain before wrenching it out, crushing it into dust, killing the dwarf where he sat.

"Well, now you're down to six" Sow tells them with a satisfied smile on her face, leaning over Grumpy to look into his fearful eyes "Do you want to make it five?" at that the dwarf hastily shook his head as footstep were heard from the door making Charming pull his eye's away from the Queen to see the Widow walking towards the council room with a boy being escorted by two knights behind her.

A smirk grew on his face seeing the various cut and bruises on her face, with an especially deep on going through her eyebrow. That one had to sting. No love was lost between them during their work together for the Queen since she had joined the fold.

"Find Regina and the boy and kill them" she ordered her dwarfs as she turned to leave only to stop when she saw her Black Widow there.

"The bandit is the least of your concerns Your Majesty" Anastasia greeted her Queen as she boy was thrown onto the floor on front of her on his knee's as he kept his head bowed over.

"And why would that be Widow?" the Queen questioned her as she eyed the assassin on her floor.

"Because the boy you're looking for have broken you prisoner out of her tower and the stolen the Apple of Eden" she informs the Queen.

"And the assassin?" Charming spoke up in curiosity noticing the robes that her prisoner wore.

"He helped them" Anastasia answered the Queen's heartless dog as she grabbed a fistful of her prisoner's hair with her hand wrenching his head up to make him look up at the Queen for the first time since arriving.

"Hey Queenie" Tom greeted her with a bloodied smile as she looked upon the visible injuries on his face. Her Widow has certainly had some fun with him before bringing him here, too much fun as the Queen took the teen's face in her hand, holding his face in a tight grip that made him wince in pain.

"Thomas" Snow White sighed out in awe seeing boy that resembled her dear godfather so much "How nice it is to finally meet you" she adds's crouching down to hover her face over his as a wicked smile grew on her face "Tell me. Where's your mother?".

She could kill him, she really could this time as she and the other's searched everywhere for her son's whereabouts. Every assassin had been sent out far and wide to find anything that would tell them where he was.

The only piece of information they had of his whereabouts was that he was last seen speaking to the boy Henry outside of the tavern. That and Black Beard was found unconscious on the docks with his ship The Jolly Roger missing from sight.

Putting the occurrences together the redhead called the search off as they retreated back to the tavern as they waited for the ship to return as the concerned mother stood on the roof of the tavern watching the horizon for any sign of the ship.

Luckily for her, they still had hours to kill until they needed to leave for the chapel for the initiation ceremony later that day as boisterous laughter echoed beneath her feet. She couldn't see how they could still drink while a young-ling was still unaccounted for as her mind wondered to what the Widow would do to him if she got her hands on him.

"Penny for your thoughts, Milady" Robin voice interrupted her train of thoughts as he joined her on the roof.

"Other than the obvious?" she scoffed at him.

"I hear Zelena is speaking of marriage again" he inquired with her, changing the subject, hoping to ease her mind from her current worry.

The woman often expressed her desire to marry her, ever since the assassin saved her from a group of mercenaries one day, the woman had remained as a companion to her of sorts. When the cold nights got too cold.

Often sticking her nose into business that wasn't her own. Today's interruption was only just an example was no exemption of hinting of what she wanted from the assassin. But she always put the idea off, but one day that wasn't going to enough and she'd be tied to the woman forever.

"She is" Amelia answered "I'd marry her, but I don't…".

"..Love her" the former thief finished. Amelia meekly nodded at her friend.

"She's insufferable" the assassin complained to him "Have you ever met someone that you would change your entire world for? Someone whose eye's you just knew you were born to gaze into?".

"Are you speaking of the bandit milady?" Robin asked seeing through the woman's words. He saw the look in her eye's when she spoke the bandit earlier.

She had to admit to herself the bandit had left her impression. She was taking up a space in her mind that had been empty for so long. She didn't just want her to join just because she thought she was the only one that could defeat Snow White. No, there was something else. And the thought of the woman facing the knights all by herself felt like a punch in the gut.

"Milady!" Little John's voice boomed from the ground as she and Robin peered over the edge of the roof to see him "Ship spotted in the water. It's the Jolly Roger!" he yelled up to her. The assassin was about to drop to the ground to confront her son as soon as his foot touched dry land only for Little John's voice to stop her.

"The Queen has been spotted with fifteen men. The Widow is with her with Tom!". She literally felt her heart stop at that piece of information.

"Milady, what do we do?".

"We fight".

She could feel her heart pounding in her chest as she and the assassins hid in plain sight as she watched a blonde woman in blue and white teaching the one handed deckhand with a hook use a sword.

On the ground she saw the Queen there with at her Charming dog as the Widow stood near her Queen as she kept firmly on her son's shoulder. She saw the bruises on his face from where she stood as the blonde and Queen exchanged words. With his bow taunt, aimed straight at the Widow awaiting their moment to make their presence known the the Queen and her Knights.

"I know you" Queen Snow started as she eyed the blonde woman in front of her "You're... Emma. The mad hag who was locked in the tower. I almost didn't recognize you out of your chains".

"You're the one that's hard to recognize..." Emma retorted as she looked between Queen Snow and Charming "Both of you. This isn't who you are" she tells them.

"Tell me... Who are we?" the Queen questions her.

"You're my parents" Emma answered making Robin a little jumpy next to her. Amelia quickly put a hand on his arm to stop him from doing anything foolish as she continued to listen to the exchange down below.

"-I'm the product of your true love. You taught me how to be a hero, you taught me how to believe in hope. And I do. And now I need you to believe in it, too".

"You're right" the Queen paused, playing with the woman "Emma. Hope is a very powerful thing. Which is why I'm going to have to snuff it out of you and that awful son of yours. Kill them" The Queen Snow ordered her knights.

One of the guards went to attack when she was stopped by Charming's hand "Wait! There he is" the Queen's dog pointed to something in the distance. Looking to where he was pointing the redhead saw Henry, the boy how tried to get her to help him.

"Get Tom. We go now" she ordered as she ran to the edge of the roof before jumping down.

"My, my. I am going to enjoy watching him die in front of his mother" Snow gloated as a high pitch whistle rang out gaining the attention of everyone on the ground.

Emma and Killian looked up in confusion as figures jumped off the stone building around them all with hoods over their faces. A relieved smile grew on Emma's face as she realized who had come to their rescue.

One landed directly in front of Emma and Hook landing one knee and fist before it slowly standing to her feet as she looked straight at the Queen.

"You're not Welcome here, Your Majesty" Amelia told the Queen sternly "Leave now" Emma could hear the simmering anger in her voice as she told the Queen where to go.

"Show your face Assassin!" Charming yelled at the figure that he recognized from the Queen's road "or are you too much of a coward under that hood".

Amelia answered his call by pulling her hood off her face to reveal her face to the Queen and her dog.

"Amelia" Snow whispered as she looked upon the person that had sopped her from adding Regina's head to her collection"You were the one to save the bandit".

"You know me Snow" she shrugged "I'm a sucker for damsels" she adds with a wink before looking towards her sister under the dark hood of the Black Widow.

"Hmmm" Snow hummed with a small smile as she sauntered around her Black Widow and her son "You think you're funny don't you Eagle Bearer" she drawled out her alias "You won't be laughing once I send you down to hell with your assassin whore of a mother".

Biting her tongue at the Queen's weak attempt of insulting her "Leave or we'll stop you".

"Cute" A sweet smile grew on her face before it fell "Kill them" at the order Amelia pulled out her two cutlass swords as she stepped back to the blonde woman as her assassins rushed forward in unison to meet the oncoming knights in a mess of clashing steel. Meeting the blonde's eye she threw her second sword towards her watching as she comfortably caught the weapon in her hand.

"You know how to use one of those?!" she yelled over the war cry's, Emma nodded at the Assassin before Amelia turned to plunge her sword into on incoming knight stomach, before sliding the blade straight back out allowing the dead knight to fall onto the ground.

Staying near the redhead as their pair parried away any attacks that slipped through the assassin's sight, while the red head went for the jugular.

Seeing the hapless pirate struggle, Emma grabbed him by the shoulder and pulled him away from the faceless knights and assassin's, dragging the man into a gap in between the buildings, huddling down together as she saw Tom being freed from his bindings to join his mother, standing back to back with her as they fought off the relentless attacks with his hidden blades.

"Go find Henry!" with a firm nod the teen left his mother's side as he ran up the cobble stone street to find the boy that he had helped get his mother back.

"Where's the Apple!?" Tom quickly asked him knowing he should have it, after giving it to the pirate after 'accidentally' bumping into him in the tower as the Widow chased him.

"I have it" Henry says reaching to take it out of his pocket only for Tom to stop him.

"No!" he tells him "Keep it safe. We're all dead if the Queen see's it on you".

Emma's attention turned back to Amelia as a knight swung a low sword towards her which she quickly blocked with her gauntlet and sword. The knight went to stab her again only for the red head to bring the handle of her sword in her right hand into the knights face before reversing the move to cut his throat three times before kicking him away.

"Do you think I'm that good?" Killian asked Emma as he continued to watch the assassin fighting off a knight that decided it was his time to kill the woman for his Queen sending a low thrust of his sword towards the woman only for it to be easily parried towards the ground before sending a hard elbow into his face before slicing her swords through the air again catching his throat on her blade before grabbing his front and throwing him to the ground, she quickly turned and sunk her blade into another knight's stomach, pulling it out as quickly as it went in before sending a swift punch to his face sending him down as the blonde spotted something her friend hadn't seen.

"Lia!" Emma called out the redhead as the Black Widow sauntered into the fray heading straight for the redhead as she ran out of the hiding spot with Killian behind her only to stop as she saw am arrow to suddenly pierce through the Black Widow's stomach, stopping her advances on the redhead.

Seeing the blonde emerge from her hiding spot with a look of horror on her face the redhead whirled around to see what she had seen. Her sister stood in the middle of the battle with an arrow in her stomach. The redhead flinched as she heard another arrow fly through the air before striking her sister again. The Widow stumbled on her feet as she met her sister's eye's over the battle field before her knees finally gave out from underneath her.

Feeling someone catch her as she fell to the ground her hood fell from her head as she saw a pair of familiar green eye's meet her's as she felt her body come out in chills, as the only source of warmth came from the way her sister held her.

A whistle resounded above them as the assassins stopped fighting the knights as they scrambled away from the crowded street, climbing up the building that surrounded them as the scene was revealed to the watching Queen who watched her Black Widow with two arrows in her body.

"Ame-lia" the blonde choked out making the redhead hushed her. It was going to be quick, that she could thank the gods for at least. She wouldn't suffer for too long.

"It's okay, don't talk" she tells her sister with a watery smile "Pain make us stronger remember?" she reminded her sister through her own tears "You'll be fine, you're gonna be okay." she shakily tells her sister as she see her eye's starting to droop.

Feeling her end coming the blonde used whatever energy she had left to whisper out her final words to her sister.

""Il sole...splenderà di... nuovo su di noi... sorella" (The sun will shine on us again sister).

The words barely left her sister's lips as a whisper as the woman took her last breath on this plain as she stilled in her sister's arms. She was gone.

This wasn't meant to happen, was what Emma thoughts to herself as she saw Amelia hold her little sister's body in her arms. Not like this, not after everything she had to go through to get her back from Gold. She knew how much she loved her sister, like she was the last remaining piece of her past that hadn't gone to crap. And now, at least a version of her was dead because they wanted to get back to their lives in Storybrooke, before the Author had changed everything.

Seeing the grief on the redheads face was enough for the one handed pirate to make his next decision. The remaining knights fell back to their monarch seeing the assassins disperse only for them to see the Black Widow die in her sister's arms, including Charming and Emma's guard from the tower.

They needed to get back to the life Henry spoke of, and if they had of making things right the pirate had to be the one to step up and make sure they got the grieving assassin to her true love in time.

With gritted teeth the pirate quietly spoke to the shocked woman next to him.

"Save Henry" the one handed pirate tells Emma as she continues to watch her fiend lose her sister.

"Killian, you can't beat them" Emma reminds him. Amelia had a look on her face like she wanted the Queen to kill her there and then, to stop the hurt of losing her sister. She wanted to give up. Henry had told her how Isaac had written her, they had to stop her from doing something that would ruin any plan of getting her to Regina.

"If I can help return things to how they were meant to be, then what happens to me here won't matter, will it?" he points out to her making her tear her eye's off the scene in front of her she looks at the pirate knowing what he was saying "Now go. Save your boy".

At that Emma runs back to Henry as Tom runs' back in the opposite direction as Killian kicks out a wooden post making heavy sacks fall onto Snow remaining knights as Tom drags his mother away from her sister's body. Leaving only Charming to fight.

"Is she worth your life, pirate?" Charming taunted the man as Tom and Amelia reached Henry and Emma.

"I'm willing to find out" Killian replies taking a nervous stance against the man as Charming.

The heartless man swings his sword towards the pirate almost mockingly as a smirk graced his face at the mans obvious fear as he continued to hit his opponents sword, metal clashing each time, making the pirate retreat backwards keeping his sword still each time it was struck.

Swinging his sword low, aiming for the pirates stomach, Killian jumped out of the way of the sharp blade, gaining some confidence with the swords at Charming expense.

The fight continued as Charming stepped up his attacks which the pirate easily parried away once again until one high attacks was caught by the pirate holding it as he use his hook to ripping the blade out of his hand before sending a hard elbow into his face.

Now weaponless Charming stayed on the ground as he held the tip of his sword at the man.

"What do you know? I'm a natural" Hook said, smiling to to himself as Snow White approached the pirate making her stop in her tracks.

"Hey!" the pirate warned the Queen as she held up her hands in surrender as she continued to move around him, making him pivot of his foot to face the Queen, turning his back on Charming on the ground "What about you, your majesty? Shall I make quick work..." Hook was cut off as Charming suddenly appeared behind him plunging a dagger into his back.

"No!" Emma exclaimed in shock seeing that man she loved being ripped away from her, by her father no less. Keeping a tight grip on her son's hand the redheaded assassin couldn't do anything as the man sacrifice.

"I never did like pirates" Charming whispered into the pained pirates as the latter reached out for the blonde.

"Mom!" Henry called out for his mother as she continued to watch the her love die in front of her.

"We have to get out of here! Mom!" Henry continued to plead to his mother making the redhead look at the blonde. This was her. The Emma he was talking about.

Quickly leaving her son's side she easily pulled the younger boy off the blonde to grab the savior herself.

"Emma" she heard Amelia's voice in her ear "Don't let his death be in vain" she whispered into the blondes ear as Snow White and Charming turned their attention towards them "Let him go. Survive the day" the redhead firmly tells her.

Her voice seemed to bring the savior out of her shocked haze as she allowed the assassin to drag her away just as Snow conjured a ball of fire in her hand, the Queen threw the fire at them just missing them as they ran from the Evil Queen and her heartless Prince Charming.

The usual jovial atmosphere that went hand in hand with welcoming new initiates into the Brotherhood wasn't felt by the travelling assassin's from the somber mood it had turned at the death of someone they once called their sister.

None more so by the redhead as she pushed down the waves of grief that threatened to freeze her in place and not move until it went away. Forcing her feet forward as the ceremony had to go ahead no matter what, she needed to leave to keep the Brotherhood both her parents believed in to survive.

Her grief was mirrored by the blonde she had learned as Emma, the savior. But any hope she held of the savoir living up to her status fell short of her expectations as the woman held no power to speak of. Which meant she had no choice but to leave once the bells had tolled and the initiates had taken their leap of faith into the Brotherhood.

Matching the blonde's pace the redhead glanced behind them to see Tom chatting to Henry like it was the most natural thing in the world. They almost acted like brothers by the way they spoke to each other as the teen showed off the various cuts and bruises to the younger boy.

"I've never seen him so taken with someone so quickly" the assassin mused to herself making the blonde look back to see the pair behind them. Tom often struggled to get on with the other boys around his age, maybe it was because it was because of who she was.

A sad smile grew on her face seeing Henry with his best friend "I know" she answered.

"They're like this from your world?" the redhead curiously asks her having heard from what Henry had told her in the tavern.

"Worse" Emma tells her with a snorted laugh "They're inseparable. Like brother's". A sad smile quirked up on the the redheads face hearing this.

"I'm sorry about Anastasia" Emma goes on seeing the sad look on the assassins face "I knew how close you two are".

"Were close" the redhead corrected the blonde "She was never my sister, that's what she thought at least".

"What happened?".

"I killed someone. Her husband" she tells Emma "He was an spy sent by the Queen to infiltrate the Brotherhood through Anastasia, I found out and took matter's into my own hands before he could hurt us".

"That's why she became the Widow?".

"Yes" Amelia confirms not saying another word on the subject "I'm sorry about your friend. He was a good man".

A small scoff came from the woman's mouth hearing this "How do you know he was a good man? You hardly knew him" she argued with the stubborn assassin.

"Because you loved him" the assassin tells her straight taking her by surprise.

"What?" Emma questioned her coming to a stop as they had reached a fork in the road. One Henry had told her that would take them to Regina, and the other Amelia needed to take to carry on her story in the book.

"The pirate" Amelia stated turning to face the blonde "You loved him. Because I saw the look on your face when Charming killed him. The same one my sister had on her face when I killed her love" she tell the blonde "Did you ever tell him?".

"No" she gulped out to the woman "I didn't take my chance on that star" she add's hoping it was resonate something in this version of the assassin that had given her the advise in the first place.

"Star?" the redhead questioned her while the caravan of assassins carried on walking down the path that would take them to the chapel they needed to get to.

"A while ago, when all I wanted to do is run from everything that went with being the savior, you gave me some advise. That I couldn't worry about the future because I would miss the present. You told me that to get to the small moment's were I could relax and be with my family, I had to fight for them through the darkness between them".

"To the stars through difficulties" she quoted to the blonde "Why are you telling me this?".

"Because we need you to stop and fight now. Henry told me what you wanted to do once the bell's toll. You can't leave Amelia, not now. Otherwise Anastasia and Killian would've died for nothing".

The redhead shook her head in disbelief at the gall of this savior to mention her sister to her "I don't have time for this. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have an initiation to get to".

Turning her back on the blonde she headed back to the caravan, the sooner they got this over with, the quicker she could leave, no more distractions, no more powerless saviors and no more bandits.

"Mom! Wait!" Henry called out seeing the redhead heading in the opposite direction to where they needed to go. He took his birth mother by surprise as he ran after the assassin, running pass her as he focused on the woman who had stopped to face him as Tom caught up.

"Mom, please you need to believe us" he pleaded with his third mother as she looked at him as Tom caught up to him having heard his new friend call his mother is Mom.

"Why did you call me that?".

"Because you are, or at least one of them" he tells her taking out the dagger that his mother had returned to him.

She felt her stomach drop as she saw the weapon she had given to the bandit, making it uncomfortably churn at the thought of the woman being out there somewhere with nothing to protect herself. It also meant she wasn't going to be at the initiation, that seemed to sting more.

"Where did you get that?" she shuddered out, taking the blade back from the boy.

"My Mom gave it to me after seeing you with Zelena. In my world, this is a symbol of your true love for each other, you gave this to her when you used to work for her as the Black Widow. This is why you need to find her, because if you don't you'll both be miserable".

"How do you know that?" she asks the boy "How do you know that going to fix everything? Bring my sister back? Bring your pirate back?" she added glancing at the blonde.

"Because I've always had faith in you" Henry tells her "Even when you thought you didn't deserve it You once told me my family has always had faith in the impossible, that we always found each other in the end. You're part of that family whether you want to or not".

"-I call you Mom because, you've always protected me, always cared, not just because I was her son, because you love me like your own. I'm asking you to have that same faith I have for you, right now. So I'm going to ask you something you always ask Tom and I whenever we need to make a derision; What does you gut tell you?".

Amelia stayed silent as she let the boy's words sink in before she looked to Emma "Is what he say's true?".

"It is" the blonde tells the assassin, moved by her son's words "Lia you're our only hope".

Amelia paused looking back at the caravan of assassin that continued to travel towards the small chapel

"Damn you bandit" she cursed to herself looking up to the sky in exasperation with her hands on her hips before she looked back to Henry "I can't miss the initiation, if you can convince Regina to come then I'll do as you ask".

"We can do that" Emma tells the woman "Thank you".

"Don't thank me yet" Amelia replied "Get Regina to the initiation, before the bell toll's, after that I need to leave" she instructs them before taking a step back to re-join her Creed. They had a shot now, that just needed to get Regina.

Packing what little she had in her hollowed out tree stump the bandit Regina set out her plans to leave the Enchanted Forest once and for all with the money she had stolen from the tax carriage with no redheaded assassin or young boy telling her all about her supposed true love to stop her.

"Mom!" Henry's voice made her jump making her sigh yet again at his re-appearance "I knew you'd still be here".

"You again?" she asked in annoyance as she carried on packing "Listen, I-I don't have time for stories. I need to hit the road before the Evil Queen has my head".

"Wait. I brought someone else this time" Henry tell him as a blonde woman stumbled her way down the hollowed tree stump "Maybe you'll listen to her".

"Regina" Emma greeted the woman.

"Let me guess... You're his other mother" she said looking at the woman.

"Emma" she states looking around the small home.

"I have to give you credit" she tells the boy with an impressed smirk "Breaking her out of that tower couldn't have been easy".

"Henry, can you give us a minute?" she tells her son needing to speak to the woman herself. He might've gotten through to Amelia but she was the one that needed to convince this Regina that everything they have been doing was to find her happiness again.

"Sure" he agrees heading for the opening of the tree stump, leaving two of his mothers to speak alone.

"You know, your son can use some reining in" Regina tells the blonde as she continues to pack "He's been running around the forest, getting into trouble, spouting nonsense".

"Regina, everything he said about this reality. It's all true" she starts.

"I doubt that. I don't know why I'm wasting my time with a madwoman who... Calls herself the savior" she tells the blonde woman shrugging a pack onto her shoulder.

"Because I can help"Emma tells her "Your happiness is still a possibility. Your first step is going after the woman you love".

"My happy ending isn't a woman" the bandit tells her.

"Of course not. But love is a part of all happiness, and you have to be open to that. Go to Amelia. All you have to do is tell her how you feel".

"Oh, is that all? You forgot to mention the part where I'd have to crash her wedding or initiation, whatever the hell it's called!" she yells out in frustration.

"What does your heart tell you?" Emma asks her.

"I know what my heart says. But what if her's doesn't say the same thing?".

"Isn't that a risk you're willing to take? I just watched the man I love die" she blurts out to the bandit. as her eyes stung from the un-shed tears that started to gather in her eyes.

"I'm... I'm sorry." the bandit stuttered out in shock "That's horrible".

"The worst part is that I never told him I loved him. Not once. I was too scared. Too scared that... Somehow, saying it would make it real... And change everything. But now I'll never have a chance to take that next step with him, because he's gone" she wept "My only chance with him is if you don't make the same mistake I did".

With the end of his book coming Isacc sat in the back of chapel where the next generation of assassins where about to be sworn into the crumbling Brotherhood of Assassin's. He wanted to witness this moment for himself. The toll of the bells would be the beginning of the end for Amelia Montague's Brotherhood as assassin's filled the pews to witness the occasion.

At the front stood the woman herself with a giant hearth of roaring fire behind her as she stood with the man who would take over once she had departed in hopes of a better future for the assassin's.

At the front Zelena sat by herself looking bored and uninterested in the event taking place as all the murmurings in the chapel came to sudden hush as the doors to the small building opened as the large figure of Friar Tuck filled the opening, walking entered the chapel with four young boys and girls including the Mentor's own son behind him as they entered the chapel.

As quickly as the door's opened, the closed on the private ceremony as Tuck escorted the initiation down the aisle until they stopped short of their mentor and leader who took her place at the center. Finding Tom's eye's behind his white hood she a hint of a smile before she started proceedings.

"Laa shay'a waqi'un moutiaq bale kouloun moumkine"(Nothing is true: everything is permitted) Amelia addressed the young-lings in front of her "The wisdom of our Creed is revealed through these words".

"Nothing is true" the initiates replied in unison.

"Where other men are limited by morality or law, remember..".

"Everything is permitted" they finished.

"We work in the dark to serve the light. We are Assassin's".

"We are Assassin's" the whole building seemed to vibrate as the assassins repeated the words to her except for Isaac who stayed stoically silent as Zelena smiled through proceedings.

Outside the chapel Emma, Henry and Regina had arrived to see that the bells above the chapel silent as the door were shut closed. They had made it in time.

"We haven't heard the bells yet" Henry tells them "There's still time".

"In these modern times we are not so literal as our ancestors, but our seal is no less permanent" she explained to the boys as Robin retrieved the tongs that sat inside the flames out as the tip of the glowed from the heat they had been sat in since they had arrived. The tool had been shaped into the arrow head like insignia that sat on every one of the assassin's present wedding finger to symbolized their dedication to the Creed.

Stepping down the man stood in front of the first initiate who would gain his or brand, who just happened was Tom who stood unfazed by the pain he was about to feel. His full focus was on his leader in-front of him as he took the leap of faith.

"You have all proven yourself worthy, commit the pillars of our Creed" she said as Robin branded Tom's wedding finger with the tongs making the teen hiss out in pain before going down on one knee with his newly branded fist to his chest and head down as Robin continued down the line of initiates. One after the other they mirrored Tom as they went down on one knee in front if their fearless leader.

"I don't even know what to say to her" Regina admitted to the pair as she wiped the sweat off her hands.

"I think, in this case, actions speak louder than words" Emma supplied to the woman.

"Once you and Amelia share true love's kiss, everything should be great again and I get my best friend back" an amused smirk grew on Emma's face at the mention of Tom, before she remembered something she once told Regina.

"Okay. What?" the bandit asked the blonde seeing the look on her face.

"You don't remember this, but I promised you once I'd help you find your happy ending. Just glad I'm here to see it. You got this Regina".

"I'm afraid none of you are crashing this initiation... Dearies" the pair froze at the appearance of the Ogre Slayer Rumpelstiltskin.

Drawing out her sword Emma turned on the man that threatened to stop their plan as she stood ready to face the man herself "Go. I got the Dark One" at the Regina ran past the pair towards the chapel as Emma faced off with Rumpelstiltskin.

"Dark One?!" he questioned taking out his own sword he ignored the bandit as he focused on the blonde woman as they circled each other "I'm afraid you have the wrong name, dearie".

"We'll see about that. Regina, go!".

She felt her heart thumping in her chest as the bandit finally reached the doors of the chapel pushing down whatever anxieties she had about finding Amelia and pushed the door open.

"Stay your blade from the flesh of an innocent" the redhead's voice floated down the aisle from her place as Regina saw her stood at the other end of the aisle as she addressed a group of assassin knelt in front of her as she continued "Hide in plain sight, be one with the crowd. Never compromise the Brotherhood".

Behind her Emma's fight with the Orgre Slayer went downhill quickly as the savior was knocked out by the man's magic after she fell onto a pile of sack's leaving the bandit unguarded until Henry picked up the sword for himself.

"Out of my way boy!" Rumpelstiltskin warned him as he advanced towards the bandit.

"You have to get through me to get to her!" Henry retorted keeping the man at swords length.

Torn by what was going on behind her she didn't know what to do as she saw Henry facing the man trying to stop them himself.

"We are assassin's" their new assassins repeated to their Mentor a proud smile growing on the mother lips as she looked down to her son as he and the other initiates stood up from the floor, only for her eye's to be drawn to the door's at the other end to see the bandit stood there. She came.

"Go! You have to stop that initiation!" Henry called out to her as Rumpelstiltskin easily disarms him.

"Out of the dark, you come into the the light, you will return to the dark. Are you prepared to travel the eagles path?"" she recites the initiation order word for word as she continues to watch the bandit.

But as quickly as she appeared at the door the bandit disappeared as the door closed and her felt her heart drop to her stomach as loud roars of cheers ring out in the chapel as the the assassin's in the pews celebrated leaving her the only silent assassin in the room.

"You won't hurt me" Henry tells the Orgre Slayer as he was held him at the end of his sword after easily disarming him "You're supposed to be a hero here" Henry tells him.

"And that's exactly why I must do this" he tells the boy "To ensure I remain one" reaching back with his sword the Slayer set out to land the killing blow on the boy in front of him as Regina put herself between the blade and Henry, the tip of the blade slicing through her stomach.

"Mom?"he gasps as the bandit grumbled onto the ground holding her stomach as fresh blood covered her hands.

"It's done" Rumpelstiltskin states before vanishing.

"Mom?" he called out, his voice breaking seeing his hurt mother.

Across the way Emma was coming to after being knocked out, opening her eye's she was greeted with the sight of Regina on the ground with Henry knelt over her.

"Mom. Why didn't you go into the church?" Henry asked the wounded woman as her tried to hold back his tears.

"I... I couldn't let you die" she tells him as the bells above the church rung out indicating the end of the story.

"We're at the end of the book" Emma mournfully stated seeing that they had failed "We're not gonna be able to change anything now".

Leading her assassin's out of the chapel, jovial laughter and merriment emitted from the the men and woman of the Brotherhood as they celebrated the new chapter of the Creed that sought out to free the people of the Enchanted Forest and beyond from Evil Kings and Queen's.

The sense of revival wasn't felt by their leader as she couldn't get away from Zelena quickly enough as she started to harp on about their next destination, the woman even had the gall to wear white to the ceremony as the biggest hint to date of what she wanted out of the assassin. But all thought of telling where the woman to go left her mind as she saw the woman that currently held up space in her mind on the ground with Henry knelt beside her.

"No" the redhead whispered in fear seeing Regina on the ground making the other's look to her in concern. Without missing a beat the assassin ran towards the injured bandit to see her hand covered in blood holding a wound on her stomach as the other's followed her including Zelena.

"Regina!" she called after the bandit as she closes the distance between them, throwing herself onto the ground she knelt beside the bandit that she had only seen a few minutes ago. Looking down she saw the blood that covered her hands making her gulp in fear.

"You stupid bandit" she lightly chastised the bandit as she held her bloodied hands in her own "Why couldn't have you kept that damn dagger, at least it would've given you a chance until I got here to save you again" a watery smirk quirked on the edge of her lips.

"I'm sorry..assassin" Regina whispered from the ground as Amelia laced her fingers in with her on her bloody stomach unfazed of the fresh blood that covered them.

"It's okay. I'm here now that's all that matters now" the redhead tells her.

"Amelia? What's going on?" Amelia heard Zelena's shrill voice whine as the bottom of her dress swished across Regina, catching a spot of her blood "Oh! Oh, now I've got blood on my dress!" she complained to the assassin on the ground.

"Zelena" Robin carped at the woman above them as Amelia's kept her full attention on the injured bandit on the ground "Can't you see she's injured?" the man added coming to his friends aid.

"This is supposed to be our day!" she yelled towards Amelia who tried to block to insufferable woman out by closing her eyes "To get out of this rotten place! And she's ruined it!".

"Zelena" the assassin growled out as a dangerous look came upon the woman's face, looking from the ground to meet Zelena's eye, the words that she had been itching to say to the woman ever since she placed herself in her life sat on the tip of her tongue. "Shut up".

Jealousy rose in Zelena's chest as her partner continued to comfort the bandit on the ground as she saw a patch of green skin start to grow on her hand. With an humph Zelena picked up her dress and ran away from the crowd, allowing Amelia to focus on the woman that plagued her mind ever since she spoke to her in the tavern.

"It's okay. You're gonna be all right" she tries to comfort the bandit as Isaac moved himself around the crowd of assassin's.

"No. No, I'm not" Regina tells her as she forced herself to push back the tears that threatened to fall as she tried her best to hold onto the woman as long as she could.

"Do you know what my greatest fear is?" the bandit shook her head at this "Dying alone" she tells her "Somewhere in an unknown land, with no one I love around me as I took my last breath. No-one to guide me to Valhalla" the shaky smile graced the assassin's as the tear flowed freely from her emerald eyes "At least I can promise you... You won't die alone".

"Too little, too late" Isaac finally spoke up as he made himself known to them from behind Emma, in which the latter whirls around to sock the Author in the nose making him drop his bag onto the ground.

"Then you're gonna change things" Emma demanded out of the man "Return them to the way they were. Bring back Hook and Anastasia. Save Regina" the savior continued to lay out her demands as as Henry eye's the quill that had fallen out of the bag onto the ground.

"I can't. I'm not The Author anymore" Isaac tells her "I can't change a thing" as Henry leaves his dying mother in Amelia's safe hands to walk over to the discarded bag and pick up the quill for himself making it glow with power.

"Whoa. Kid, what the hell?" she breaths out in wonder seeing this.

"No" the Author shuddered in anger seeing what was happening.

"What's happening?" Emma asks her son.

"He's the next Author" Isaac informs her.

"I-I can feel it" Henry says he feels the quill in his fingers. The quill hummed to life between his fingers as the assassin heard something strange whispered into the air around her. The assassin blinked in confusion as she dragged her eyes away from the bandit to look where it was coming from.

"Henry. Fix it" Emma tells him "Write everything the way it was".

"Without ink, he's not writing anything" Isaac tell them as Emma find her sword ready to cut her palm open.

"My blood. It was supposed to work last time" she tells him.

"Yes, when mixed with darkness, but you're not the savior here" Henry reminds her "Because of him" he adds looking at the Author "But that doesn't mean we didn't find one. And in this world, we don't need a dark savior" he says looking to his adopted mother "We need a light one. Hold on, mom" he tells Regina ask he retakes his place next to his mother.

"No, don't!" Isaac went to stop the pre-teen only for Tom to suddenly appear to push him back with the latter unsheathing his hidden blade from his wrist holding it up against the former Authors neck as Henry went to fix everything, dipping the quill into his mother's blood and puts quill to paper.

"Henry, do it!" Emma encouraged him as he starts to write only to stop, it wasn't doing anything, the magic he had felt in it was gone as he looked at it in confusion.

"Need a little extra juice kid?" Isaac's voice taunts as they start to quickly lose time.

Finding the source of the whispering from the inside of her robe, she looked to see it was coming from the same place she had placed the Apple of Eden Tom had returned to her earlier.

Taking the sphere out of her robes, as soon as her fingers grazed the surface she felt a jolt go through her body, tightly shutting her eye's as she felt it's power flow through her muscles and nerves until she opened her eye's. No one noticed except from the bandit on the ground the way her emerald eye were suddenly replaced by two golden bright one for a split second before they went back to their normal green as the assassin panted through the sudden onslaught of power.

"What happened to it?" Henry asked the former Author as the assassin looked around her in a state of daze and confusion as her mind caught up to what was happening around her.

She had only felt like twice before after a dark curse had been broken by true loves kiss.

"Ever wonder why Gold needed her blood and the Apple of Eden" he says eyeing the redhead who was looking over to the three "The Quill runs on pre-cursor energy to write. It ran out of juice to create this book".

"So, all we need is more energy, but from where?" Henry says looking to his mother for any idea's

"We don't have any time" his Mom tells him as the came to yet another standstill of what to do before everything was set in stone at the end of the story.

"From me" Amelia announced from the ground as she looked towards the other's as look came upon the woman Henry knew well. In front of him wasn't the woman that Isacc had written about, but the woman he knew from back home, the Master Assassin that would walk through fire for her family. For him.

"Mom?" Henry tested the waters as the redhead looked towards the boy she had come to love as her own.

"Henry" she breathed out hearing the recognition in her voice as she looked upon the boy that had believed in her ever since the first curse had broken over a year ago.

"Lia?" Emma's voice dragged her away from Henry as she looked up to see the savior. It was her. Their Amelia knelt there, insead of the one Isacc wrote about.

"Good to see you again Swan, but we don't have much time for re-introductions" she says taking her hand away from Regina's' she wasted no time in cutting open with her hidden blade. Blood welt up in the palm of her hand before placing it upon Regina's already bloodied hands making sure the blood mixed together making the bandit look down in confusion to what she was doing.

"Everything's going to make sense in a minute Queenie" the redhead reassured her love "Everything's going to be okay".

Nodding in understanding the bandit kept her eye's on the assassin next to her as she felt the warmth of her hand leave her's leaving a droplet of her's and Regina's mixed blood for Henry to use.

"End this" the assassin instructs her second son picking up the Apple in her free hand, she watches Henry dip the end of the quill into the mixed blood before putting quill to paper as Regina finally let her eye's close.

Thanks to the hero Regina's sacrifice.

Isaac's villainous work was undone.

As Henry wrote the assassin felt the Apple once again come to life as she held onto Regina and the Piece of Eden for dear life as the piece reacted to the power of the quill like it did the first time, but this time it was them back to Storybrooke.

Storybrooke

Stood over his adopted mother, Henry waited patiently for her to wake up from the curse that former Author had put through in the same position she was in as she 'died'.

Her eye's snapped open to be met with the grey sky's of Maine she ha become accustomed to ever since she created the small town expecting to find her partner already there, waiting for her to wake up before seeing the person who had saved them all.

"Henry?" the Queen gasped before sitting up she saw she was back in her normal clothes with black gloves covering her hands instead of her banditry outfit. Quickly standing up onto her feet she engulfed her son into a much-awaited hug.

"You did it" she whispered into his shoulder as Tom come running round the corner having run from the loft to find his best friend again.

"No, mom. We did" Henry tells her as he hears Tom's voice call out to him.

"Henry!" the teenager called after his best friend making the younger boy pull away from his mother just in time for the the teen to tackle his best friend into a hug almost making Henry lose his footing.

"Never again" the former Queen heard Tom's muffled voice say into his best friends shoulder making her chuckle to herself at the pairs theatrics, feet away Emma finally stood up from the ground to see Henry being 'attacked' by his best friend.

"Mom!" Henry calls out to the blonde seeing her on her feet managing to escape Tom's hold on him, he runs to the savior throwing himself into his mother's arms, while Regina takes Tom's face into her gloved hands seeing the young boy safe and sound after their time in the new reality.

"Hook!" suddenly calls out at that Emma took off running down the street to find the man she loved after seeing him die.

"Where's Mom?" Tom asks looking between Regina and Henry for the answer. The last he knew before they were taken away was that she was on her way to meet up with Anastasia to get the Apple into her hands.

"Not far, come on" Henry tells him, before leading them down the street.

Following their son and friend down the street the pre-teen took them outside of Granny's diner which was the place where he had found Amelia's broken blade on the ground when he woke up alone, only to see nothing there.

"Her blade. I-it was right here?" Henry informs the pair as they tried to look for any sign of the assassin only for a voice to confirm her location.

"Looking for someone bandit?" her voice made the former Queen whirl around to see the redheaded assassin stood under the white archway leading up to Granny's diner sporting a fresh split bottom lip as her sister sat at one of the tables with the Apple sat in front of her.

Waking up first from dying in the book, the blonde assassin took it upon herself to wake her older sister up from the place they had both collapsed in the middle of the street. After a heartfelt reunion, the pair had dragged themselves to the diner in search for somewhere to sit as the redhead recovered from taking the brunt of the Apple's power once again.

The Apple had saved her memories for her to find them again when they most needed it. That's why the Apple had been locked away in the tower with Emma, because Isaac knew she had the Piece of Eden. Her blood was the key to revive give power to the quill to create the new story, it could be used to end it.

The healing redhead watched as her Queen quickly closed the distance between them, wrapping her arms around the soulmate the redhead did the same as she breathed the former Queen in, for a second or two before Tom and Henry decided to join in, squeezing the redheaded in their small family unit.

"You know how much I usually enjoy our hugs, but this one is partially painful" the redhead groaned out in pain as Tom and Henry release her as Regina steps away keep her hand firmly in her's allowing the woman to breathe again.

"Are you okay?" Henry asks her as her son's look at her with concern.

"I'm fine, just need a breather" she huffs out.

"I'm fine, if anyone is concerned!"Anastasia chirped from her seat in making the other's look to her "Dying sucked by the way" she grumbled to herself making her sister smile to herself.

It was good to be back to normal.

With the ordeal over with and Apple back at full power, the assassin had to put it somewhere safe, to make sure no one else bit she knew where it would be should the need arise for some extra juice to save the day. She could only think of one place where that would be, with the one person who had kept it in the first place.

Placing the Piece of Eden back into the square hole in the stone tomb, the lid to the secret place slid back into place, shutting into place as the stone key that unlocked sat still in it's keyhole ready for the redhead to to pick up and thread back onto its leather cord that sat around her neck.

"Keep it safe for me Henry" she tells the man's tomb with a half smile as if she knew he was listening to her.

Leaving the mausoleum the assassin found the new wooden bench that had been placed near her father's grave. A gift from Regina, not wanting her to use the headstone as a place to sit anymore. Over the few weeks they had to themselves, the newly reinstated mayor had found out her partner's routine of coming here at least twice a week to get away from everyone wanting her help.

The redhead noticed something resting on the ground in front of his headstone. Sat there was a small bunch of flowers that hadn't been there when she arrived to put the Apple away. Snow-bells. She knew who left them.

Taking a seat on the bench she made herself comfortable knowing she had to deal with the feud between them sooner rather than later.

"You can come out Snow" Amelia prompted the younger woman she knew was there. Walking out from behind the mausoleum the pixie haired teacher saw the red sat on the bench with a leg resting on her knee "Take a seat".

Taking a seat next to the assassin the pair sat in silence as they looked at the grave stone that marked the grave of the man they both loved as a father at one point of their lives.

"Amelia-" Mary Margaret started only for the assassin to stop her.

"I never got a chance to thank you" the redhead suddenly tells her, taking her by surprise.

"For what?" she asked the redhead in confusion.

"Bringing him with us in the curse" she tells the younger woman gesturing towards the grave site "Giving him a place here for Tom and I to visit" she says "I've been coming here to get away from everything, from disappointing leads to the Author, to when it got too much to see Hook so angry for letting my Uncle trick him or just coming here to make everything slow down for a couple of hours".

"I didn't know that" the former Princess tells her.

"When Anastasia told me what you did, I was so angry. Angrier than I had ever been before, than I thought I could ever be. But underneath all that anger there was one question that kept repeating itself in my head" she paused as Mary Margaret tried to hold back the tears of guilt that threatened to spill "Why couldn't' she tell me?. After everything I had done to keep you safe from the Evil Queen, why couldn't she just tell me what happened to my father".

"I don't know Amelia. I wanted to tell you but-".

"You didn't want to lose me" she answered the teacher next to her as she felt the tears sting in her eyes "You didn't want to lose your only friend in the world despite darkness that grew in my heart. Seeing you as the villain made me see how far gone I had gone. If you told me back then, I would've done something that would've snuffed out what little light that remained".

"Lia, I am so sorry I didn't tell you" she says wrapping her arms around the redhead's "There wasn't a day that went by where I didn't think they would hurt him" she wept "Hurt you" she added "When you gave me that letter, I thought you knew what I did, I regret not telling you it wasn't Regina, you lost so much time with her because I couldn't tell you the truth. I can see how much you love her, and how much she loves you, if I could go back-".

"You can't" Amelia interrupts her as the former Princess sees the woman's resolve break mentioning her the woman she loved "No one can. And I can't back and stop myself from helping the Evil Queen with the curse. Only one person did that and I can't tell him how thankful I am that he stopped me from being something horrible".

A watery smile grew on Mary Margaret's lips knowing who she was talking about. Romeo. Romeo stopped her.

"I don't want to fight with you Lia, so whatever it is you need to do to settle the blood debt, do it. Because I don't think I can stand another day with you being angry at me".

"Do you have the letter with you?" the redhead asked her. Nodding the younger woman reached into her coat pocket and took out the letter that had started it all, offering it to the assassin.

Taking it the assassin left the pixie haired teacher on the bench waited as she heard the sound of a lighter being flicked on, until the younger woman saw the assassin holding a lighter underneath the letter.

Letting the paper catch on fire, the pair watched as the fire burned through the paper before the assassin dropped it on the grave, stepping away the bring letting accidentally landed near the snow-bells. The flowers quickly caught on fire as the assassin retook her place next to Mary Margaret allowing the younger woman to wrap her arms around her's laying her head on her shoulder like she used to when they had met again. Silently watching the only evidence of her father's treason burn after all these years.

The blood debt was over. She didn't need to spill more blood when so much had already been split between them.

A sense of calm washed over the pair seeing the letter burn into no-existence. This is what Romeo would've wanted, his daughter and god-daughter sat together as the sister's they should've been growing up. Not as the enemies they became.

"Sorry about the flower's" Amelia tells her as the dying embers of the paper flew through the air.

"It's okay. I'll find more" Mary Margaret reassures her as a thought came to her "Did you really have that planned all along?".

"Yep" the redhead admitted to her "Did you really think I was going to kill you?" the redhead questions the former Princess.

"Yes" the younger woman choked out in laughter wiping the tears from her face "For minute or two".

"Well that was silly" the redhead tells her as Mary Margaret sees a headstone next to Romeo's she didn't recognize only seeing the words 'Requiescat in pace' engraved on it.

"Who's that next to him?" Mary Margaret curiously asks her friend.

"My Mom" she answers her feeling the tiredness of the last few weeks finally catching up to her.

"Do you wanna just here for a while?".

"Yeah" the redhead sighed out in relief "I would love that".

Reunited after ordeal everyone gathered in Granny's to celebrate their victory over The Author. Amelia sat opposite her soulmate and Henry in a red booth as they looked over his storybook that told all their stories. She watched the image before her to to committing it to memory seeing the pair happy and relaxed once again.

Tearing her eyes away from them she found Emma attached to Hook's side as they talked to her parents.

Anastasia was at the bar challenging Will Scarlet to a drinking game as she sat next to Lily. She and Emma's friend had seemed to get along since they were introduced. She needed some friends other than herself and Tom. Broaden her horizons so to speak. There were plenty of people in Storybrooke she would get along with, she just needed a nudge in the right direction.

She found Tom talking to a young girl maybe a year or two older than him at the jukebox, closely watching they way he talked to her with a smile on his face. He looked at her the same way John looked at her that made her stomach flutter at the memory of her privateer. She hoped he was happy back in the Enchanted Forest, whatever he was doing. He deserved to be happy as much as she did, maybe more.

Noticing how quiet the redhead was opposite him, Henry craned his head back seeing what she was looking at. Tom and MJ at the jukebox. Smiling to himself he knew his cousin and best friend had finally been caught out as he turned back to the assassin.

"MJ" Henry quickly told the redhead, making her blink in surprise, gaining her attention "That's the MJ" Henry repeated "Tom's had a crush on her since starting school" he informed her.

"Hello" Robin interrupted the small family taking a seat next to his old friend "Not to puncture the party, but did you check on Zelena?" the thief asks looking between the couple.

"Still locked up, still pregnant" Amelia informed her closest friend with tight smile "I checked…twice. But that's something we'll be able to deal with" the redhead tells him. She would be there for him as he was for her as he dealt with the woman that fooled all of them.

"Together. Thank you" Robin says before leaving a friendly kiss on the Assassin's cheek with the red head doing the same but before he could leave the redhead stopped him.

"Could you make sure my sister and Will don't get too drunk, he has the early shift tomorrow, no matter how hungover he is".

"Will do" he chuckles out beofre leaving his fiend to her family.

Her gaze followed her friend as he left as he eye's found Tom and MJ once again at the jukebox.

"Okay,I've got to unpin something" Amelia announced to her partner and Henry only to pause looking at the young boy "But firstly we've got to talk about something".

"W-What about?" Henry asked her.

"About you calling me Mom" the assassin tells him "I've discussed it with both your Mother's about it" she says glancing at her partner across the table "and they're happy for you to do so, but for now, I'm fine with you calling me by my name. You don't need to call me Mom to confirm what you should already know".

"I know, but I want to, like I asked you; What does your gut tell you?" he says with his teasing smile.

A knowing smirk grew on the redhead's lips at the question. She knew what her gut told her. That this boy was worth all the curses and monster in all the realms.

"Then be ready to have someone breathing down your neck about your algebra homework. I've been told I'm the harshest tutor" she says giving the boy a playful wink "You've been warned" she tells him getting out of to stand next to the dark brunette "When I'm done, how about we go for a walk?" she asked her Queen.

"Perhaps" Regina teased the former Assassin with a smile before the red head bent down to place a loving kiss on the Queens lips.

"Be nice" Regina tells her as they parted.

"Aren't I always?" before leaving the pair in the booth, making her way to towards the jukebox.

As she walked past the Charming family, the redhead glanced into the stroller to see little Neal fast asleep as Mary Margaret caught her stealing a look at the infant. She overhearing David trying to apologize for killing his daughter's boyfriend as the former Princess felt a light squeeze on her arm as her friend walked by.

Seeing the friendliness back between her mother and the assassin. Emma couldn't help but smile as she caught the assassin's eye giving the blonde savior a knowing wink as she felt the assassin give her own arm an encouraging squeeze. She needed to tell the man the way she felt.

Focusing on her son and the mystery girl everyone but her had heard about, she came to stop in front of the pair as MJ seemed to notice her presence straight away as Tom continued to talk. Clearing her throat, she made her presence known making Tom jump in surprise suddenly seeing his mother stood there with her hand clasped in-front of her.

"Mom" he gasped in surprise.

"Aren't you going be a gentleman and introduce us?" Amelia glanced towards his crush trying to suppress a smirk.

"Yes!" he exclaimed looking between them "Uh, Mom this is my friend Mary Jane, MJ this is my Mom".

"Hi" Amelia greeted the girl with a friendly smile.

"Hi" MJ greeted the Montague matriarch with a small wave "Tom's told me a lot about you Miss Montague".

"Really? Because I've heard nearly nothing about you" she retorts much to her son's annoyance.

"Mom" Tom groaned lowly in embarrassment.

"I just came here to say hello and to tell you not to be too late home".

"Will do Mom" he nodded before Amelia looked back at the teenage girl. She recognized the girl from somewhere but couldn't place her.

"Do I know your parents MJ?" she questioned her.

"My Mom and I used to live in Monteriggioni before the first curse, but we moved when the Brotherhood disbanded. She worked as a seamstress".

Amelia smiled politely at the girl as she heard the girl's small lie, but tonight would not be the night she would cause any bad feeling with the girl "Ahh I remember now your Marvella's girl aren't you?".

"Right" she confirmed with a tight lipped smile as Tom closely watched the exchange.

"It was great to finally meet you MJ" she tells the girl before looking back at Tom "See you at home" the teenager nods letting out the breath he was holding as he watched his mother return to Regina in the booth, grabbing the former Queen's hand she dragged her out of the diner for that walk she promised, letting the other continue the small celebration before it would be disturbed by Belle with news about her true love.

Unaware of what was going on in the pawn shop with her Uncle only a few blocks away, the assassin strolled arm in arm with her Queen under the blissful ignorance of the night's sky as they allowed their footsteps on the sidewalk be the only sound heard between them as they allowed themselves to relax in the first time in weeks. For the first time in months the assassin knew where her Queen sat with her. She was part of her happy ending, one no Author was going to change. That no one was going to change, the only one stopped her getting what she wanted was herself.

"So.." the former Queen started breaking the silence between them "What's MJ like?" she inquires with the woman next to her.

"She seems nice enough" Amelia answered her "She and her Mother used to live in Monteriggioni before the left".

"Really?" the Queen asked as a curious brow rose on her face.

"Mhmm" she hummed "Her mother was a seamstress at the tailor before it all fell apart. Her family ran the shop, she made and tailored my robes, which puts the lovely MJ being born just before I ran away".

"Why would that be important?".

Because if her calculations were right, like it usually is. She knew who her father was. Which might be a problem in the future or her, but more importantly Tom.

"Putting a pin it" she quickly tells the former Queen not wanting to fill ruin their night, they needed a night drama-free for once.

"Does that mean 'Operation Spider; is on hold for the foreseeable future?" she asks the assassin drawling out the words Operation Spider for emphasis, playfully nudging the redhead as they walked.

A scoff of annoyance left the redheads lips hearing her partner. Of course she knew, the redhead thought to herself. Henry was going to hear from her very soon for spilling the beans to his mother.

"It does for now" Amelia tells her rolling her eye's to herself "Even after I have a very serious chat with your son about knowing what covert really means" the redhead couldn't help but smile as the former Queen chuckle at her expense "As long as Tom's happy, I'll behave".

"That's good to hear dear. But something tell me you having just been thinking about a teenage crush this evening". She knew her partner better than that. This MJ wasn't her main concern going forward.

"I was just thinking about what Gold told me about my ancestor's being related to one's before".

"Seems a little far-fetched don't you think?".

"He had a point" the redhead tells her coming to a stop in the middle of the sidewalk turning to face her partner "I can control the Apple. I restored it with my blood. I used it to save my memories in the story. What if this was the fight Romeo told me about. If that's all true I'm just barely scratching the surface".

The former Queen knew what she was talking about, it was what Romeo had told her as he died of dream-shade on their way back from Neverland. The redhead had never understood what he was talking about but she knew from their time back home that it played on her mind, it worried her more that she was letting on, and the last few days events had only made it worse as she saw it in the emerald eye's that she loved waking up to every morning.

"Whatever this fight is, you can count on me being right there with you" she promised her assassin keeping a tight hold on her hands "Whatever it takes".

The corner of the redheads lip quirked up in a half smile hearing their private promise to each other to do whatever it took to fight for what they loved, including each other.

"Have I ever mentioned how lucky I am to have you?".

"You might have mentioned it a few time's" she replied "I'm just as lucky if not more to have you".

Hearing this the redhead felt her heart speed up as she thought of the small problem that might put a strain on the Queen's promise. The one that had crept up on her over the last few weeks. It all became a little too real after her sister had shown up, and how she felt after the 'girl's night' with the other Queen's of Darkness.

She needed to tell Regina what was going on before anything else got in the way.

"There's uh something else, I've been meaning to ask you about" Amelia started off as the former Queen grew curious as the woman in front of her became nervous. She never got nervous, unless she was about to ask her a question that even entered her mind a few times over the last few weeks.

"About us, our future" she let her soulmate continue "Those six weeks' being together, it made me think what we could be outside the dramas of whatever villain or monster wanted their revenge against us".

"What about?".

"About adding another ten fingers and toes to our family" Amelia made herself say before holding onto her breath waiting for Regina's reaction.

A little taken a back and surprise at the redhead's proposal. Now she wasn't expecting that.

"You… want to adopt a baby" Regina deduced knowing that was the only option for them, as a small feeling of disappointed at grew in her stomach.

"Not just a baby. Our baby" she corrected the former Queen "You know I love Henry despite him calling me his mother" a sad smile grew on the former Queen as she carried on "He's still not mine. Not really" she paused "It hurts to see him leave with Emma and I know it still hurts you. And Tom is growing up so fast I can barely keep up. There are times I can't believe that the toddler I let that monster take away from me is the man I see he's growing into. It just reminds me of how much time I lost. I want a second chance at being a mother with no curses, no lies and I want to do it with you".

The former Queen could see this speech had been long awaited by the redhead which only made her heart ache. This is what she could've had long ago, if she had just forgiven her for letting Charming go with baby Emma. They would have adopted Henry together.

She could see where the redhead was coming from with Tom. She had only missed one year of Henry's life, not nearly sixteen. Her pain was only a blip compared to the hurt she had been carrying for years. She wanted to try again. With her.

The brunette opened her mouth to give the woman she loved her answer only to watch as the the assassin's face slowly crumbled in front of her. The assassin clutched her head in pain as she felt like thousand of needles were being pushed into her skull.

"Arghh!" she screamed out into the night trying to stop the intense pressure her sixth sense had felt, she wanted it to stop. Just stop as it felt like her head was being crushed from the inside.

"Melia?!" the former Queen called out in panic to the woman she was about to agree to growing a family with, quickly taking a hold of her as the redhead groaned in pain.

As quickly as the pain came from her head it subsided allowing her to open her eyes and straighten up her eye's went to sky as she desperately sought out the source that pained her.

"What the hell is that?" she panted out deep breaths her eye's widening in terror as her she sought out the raw power she had just felt be released into the sky. It was dark, darker than anything she had ever felt before.

"Melia?".

"Something's happening" she whispered in fear as she felt the colossal amount of dark magic, she never felt such raw power. Whatever it was it was going in one direction.

Her legs led the way as she tried to concentrate on what was happening around her as Regina followed the assassin until they came to an intersection where the Charming couple, Emma and Hook were already, searching their surroundings.

"Hey, what's going on?" Regina asked them as Amelia continued to whirl around with her eye's shining in the darkness trying to find whatever she had felt a minute ago.

"The Dark One... It's no longer tethered to the Crocodile" Hook informed the pair as the assassin tried to search for the darkness that had been attached to the Dark One for centuries.

"What?! Where the hell is it?".

"It hasn't gone anywhere" Amelia tells them, looking up in the night sky her body coming out in chills "The darkness" she shuddered "It's surrounding us".

Regina didn't see it until it nearly too late, the black mass of darkness that was headed straight for the redhead. Quickly stepping forward, the former Queen shoved the assassin out of the way until it latched onto her dragging her away from her soulmate. The assassin landing on one knee only to look up to see the darkness swirling around the woman she loved.

"Regina!" Amelia screamed to her partner. As lighting flashed around them and the wind picked up as it swirled around the former Evil Queen.

"What's it doing?" Hook asked.

"What darkness does" Emma trailed off "Snuffing out the light".

"I'm not gonna let it" Amelia tells then as she pulls a dagger from her boot and runs at dark web like darkness that was trying to attach itself to her soulmate, the redhead swung the weapon at the darkness only for it to lash out of her and send her back on her rolling onto the ground until she stopped by Hook as her weapon landed some way away from her.

She attempted to jump back up like she always did only for a sharp stab of pain from her stomach stopping her. Gritting her teeth the assassin bite back the scream that wanted to escape her throat as she looked upon her love trapped with the web of darkness.

"Lia!" Mary Margaret exclaimed from her husband's arms as Hook crouched down with concern for the Assassin as it was uncharacteristic for her to show her any pain.

She couldn't move. She couldn't save her. Amelia felt her heart constricting in her chest as she looked up finding the pair of brown eye's silently apologizing for pushing her out of the way. She had saved her. That should be her in that vortex of darkness. Not her. She promised her she wouldn't put her harms way again. She couldn't' lose her now when they had the chance to be happy.

"That's not gonna work on this thing!" Emma told the Assassin as Hook felt the assassin's grip on his shoulder tighten as he gently helped her back onto her feet clutching her abdomen "The Apprentice told me we have to do what the sorcerer did! We have to tether it to a person to contain it!".

"Swan! No!" Amelia screamed at the savior knowing what she had to do "You know what that'll do" but her protects went ignored.

"Emma!" Mary Margaret screamed for her daughter as the blonde stepped up the darkness that encased Regina with the Dark One's dagger in her hand.

"No!" Regina screamed at the blonde through the darkness making her stop "There has to be another way!".

"There isn't!" Emma tells the older woman "You've worked too hard to have your happiness destroyed!".

Emma went to stab at the darkness only for her father's voice to stop her "No!"

Looking back at her parents, Hook and Amelia with glossed eyes, she looked upon the people that she knew would help her. They had done it before, they would do it again. She had the faith in them to do it.

"You figured out how to take the darkness out of me once. You need to do it again. As heroes"

Leaving the hurt assassin Hook ran up to the blonde taking her arm turning her around to face him "Emma! Emma, please! No. Don't do this" he pleaded with his love.

"I love you" Emma whispered to Hook resting her forehead on his, forcing him backwards before swinging around with the weapon, stabbing the dagger into the web. Her family watched in horror as the darkness attached itself to her arm that was holding the dagger worm its way down leaving the former Queen to surround the savior.

The darkness continued to encase the blonde as Regina ran over to the redhead, the pair taking each other into their arms to watch the darkness slowing taking the woman in its clutches.

As the darkness took its new vessel, it grew tall into the dark sky until it popped out of existence leaving the curved dagger to clatter onto the road engraved with the name of its new owner:

Emma Swan
