Chapter Thirty: Double Trouble

On their way to Saffron City, Serena and Ash came across the small village of Mindaro Town. It didn't have much in the way of population, and even in Serena's guidebook, which mentioned plenty of other small things like the beach they'd visited on the way to Vermilion City, it was only mentioned in passing as being just past the halfway point of Route 6 coming from Vermilion.

Despite its apparent unassuming nature, though, the village seemed to be quite busy when Serena and Ash arrived. There were stands along the main road selling food, and in the town square, people seemed to be preparing a Pokémon battlefield.

"Is there a tournament of some kind going on?" Ash wondered as he and Serena watched the field being inspected.

"I guess," Serena said. "Thinking of entering?"

"You should," a young woman with purple hair next to her said. "Both of you, actually."

"Why? Is it something special?" Ash asked.

The woman nodded. "It's the annual Partner-Partner Tournament. Every Trainer picks one Pokémon, then partners up with another Trainer, and competes in a series of double battles. The winner gets free dinner and a commemorative ribbon. It's not the biggest tournament, of course, but double battles are pretty rare in Kanto, so my boyfriend Ray and I always come here. My name is Tyra, by the way," she said.

"I'm Ash, and this is my partner Pikachu," Ash said.

("Hi!")

"My name is Serena, pleased to meet you," Serena said.

Tyra studied Serena for a moment and then her eyes widened. "You're the Artisan who won the Vermilion Exposition, aren't you? I saw that on TV," she said.

Serena nodded. "Yep, that's me! I didn't think I'd get recognized here, though," she said, a bit embarrassed.

"Then you should definitely both enter. I'd love to see how such a talented Artisan battles," Tyra said.

"It sounds fun to me," Ash said. "What do you say, Serena? Want to partner up?"

Despite knowing Ash was referring to the tournament, and already knowing how Ash felt about her, Serena still felt her face heating up when he asked her to partner up. Still, it would probably be fun to battle together with Ash, and it would be good practice as well.

"Yeah, let's do it!" she said.

Tyra grinned approvingly and said, "You should head down the road to the Pokémon Center; Nurse Joy is handling the registration. I'm going to go and find Ray. Hope we'll run into you later!"

She raised her hand in greeting and walked away, while Serena and Ash headed to the Pokémon Center.

"You and me, then, buddy?" Ash asked Pikachu.

("Obviously,") Pikachu said with a grin.

"Who will you use, Serena?" Ash asked.

Serena thought for a moment. "I bet Pancham would love to fight…but I think I'll ask Delphox if she wants to do it. Both of us battling with our first partners seems to be most in the spirit of things, right?" she asked.

Ash nodded. "Good choice. Delphox is really strong, too. She'll do great!" Serena called out Delphox and asked, "What do you think? Want to compete in the tournament?"

("Of course! I might like performing more than fighting, but that doesn't mean I can't do it,") Delphox said with a smile.

"Great! I'll be counting on you, then!" Serena said.

They reached the Pokémon Center and walked up to the counter.

"Good morning. How can I help?" Nurse Joy asked.

"We'd like to enter the tournament," Ash said.

Nurse Joy nodded. "That's great! We needed one more team to make a good bracket, so you're just in time. I'll get you registered right away. Are you familiar with the rules of the tournament?" she asked.

Ash shook his head. "Not really. We were just passing through on the way to Saffron City."

"Alright. It's fairly straightforward. You fight a double battle against another duo, and the winner advances to the next round. Switching out is not allowed, as each contestant only has one Pokémon registered, and if both of your Pokémon are defeated, you lose the battle. Between fights, I will make sure your Pokémon are looked after and are fit for their next battle. If one Pokémon is defeated, but the other wins, then both Pokémon are allowed to battle again in the next round. You're only out if both your Pokémon are knocked out," Nurse Joy said.

"Sounds good. I can't wait to get started," Ash said with a grin.

Serena smiled at Ash's enthusiasm. She wondered what a real double battle would be like. Though she and Ash had fought together plenty of times against Team Rocket, they hadn't really ever competed in real double battles like this. Come to think of it, aside from training against Ash and performing in Expositions, Delphox hadn't really fought in a while, not since evolving when she tried to stop Misdreavus from attacking Serena.

"Oh, there is one more thing I forgot to mention," Nurse Joy said, shaking Serena from her thoughts. "During battles, you are only allowed to give commands to your Pokémon. You're not allowed to strategize together while fighting, although you're obviously allowed to make plans before the battle begins."

"That's an interesting rule," Ash said.

Nurse Joy smiled. "That has to do with how the tournament itself came into being. Legend has it that this village was once besieged by bandits. Two Trainers, a married couple, lived here, and under the cover of darkness, they attacked the bandits with their Pokémon, an Alakazam and a Golduck. Their Pokémon were capable of communicating with their Trainers telepathically, and so they were able to silently give commands, but to not give away their own positions in the darkness, they couldn't talk to each other at all. However, because they were so in tune with each other, and knew each other so well, they were able to coordinate through their Pokémon alone, defeating the bandits and saving the village. The tournament was created to keep their legacy alive. Whether it's true or not, I can't say, but it certainly makes the tournament very interesting," she said.

"So you're essentially battling on your own, trusting that your partner will know what you're trying to do when you make a certain move?" Serena asked.

Nurse Joy nodded. "Indeed! Again, though, you are free to make a plan beforehand, so you're not quite on your own. Now, we plan to start the tournament in about an hour, so you should probably begin your preparations, if you have any to make," she said.

Serena and Ash thanked Nurse Joy and headed back outside.

"So, do you have any plans in mind?" Serena asked.

Ash shook his head. "Not really. We don't know what kind of Pokémon our opponents will use — at least for the first round — and we don't know what their intentions will be. In situations like that, I'd start with a fast attack and then just work from there."

Serena nodded slowly. "Right, attacking fast and hard is your style in general, right? My Pokémon and I have our control, so I think I'd like to use that to my advantage…"

She thought for a moment and then smiled when she realized that the solution was pretty simple. Their styles naturally complemented each other. Ash could use Pikachu's speed and attacking power both to deal damage and to put pressure on the opponent so Delphox would have breathing room, while Delphox had the control to draw attention away from Pikachu if needed, but also enough attacking power with her Fire moves and Hidden Power to deal damage on her own. In a double battle, it wouldn't matter what role either of them assumed at any given moment. Serena had gotten fairly good at responding to things Ash did in all her Showoff Round practice with him, so she knew his tendencies. Ash knew hers as well, in addition to being someone who liked to improvise anyway, so they probably wouldn't need to talk much to be able to guess what the other was trying to do.

"Let's just both fight like we normally do," she said. "I think we'll do great."

Ash grinned. "Yeah! We're going to win this thing!"

He held out his fist, and Serena happily returned the fist bump. She was looking forward to this.

Just over an hour later, the tournament began. There were eight teams, and Serena and Ash would be the first to battle. Their opponents were a young couple named Lea and Jed, who fought with a Magmar and Electabuzz, respectively, so their first match would be something of a mirror match type-wise. It was certainly an interesting opening to the tournament.

"Are both teams ready?" the referee asked. Serena and Ash nodded, as did Lea and Jed. "Then begin!"

"Magmar, Sunny Day!"

"Light Screen, Electabuzz!"

"Pikachu, Thunderbolt on Magmar!"

"Delphox, Mystical Fire on Electabuzz!"

Magmar raised her face to the sky and fired up a brightly glowing orb of flames, while Electabuzz put his hands out in front of himself to create shimmering wall of light — but neither were fast enough with their moves.

Pikachu had already jumped into the air, firing off a massive Thunderbolt at Magmar, who was blown backwards.

At the same time, Delphox had shot a narrow beam of fire past the edge of Electabuzz's growing Light Screen, hitting him in the side and sending him flying backwards as well.

"Magmar, Fire Punch Pikachu!"

"Thunder Punch, Electabuzz, go for Delphox!"

Magmar and Electabuzz jumped back to their feet and dashed forwards. Magmar's Sunny Day would surely make its punch stronger if it connected, and Electabuzz's Light Screen, which had fully formed just after Electabuzz had taken the hit from Delphox, would take away much of the damage a second Thunderbolt would do. Serena's best bet, then, would be to attack Magmar herself to make sure she couldn't hit Pikachu, so that Pikachu could freely switch targets to Electabuzz.

"Delphox, Hidden Power on Magmar!"

Ash picked up on it immediately. He grinned at Serena and yelled, "Alright then, Pikachu, switch targets! Iron Tail on Electabuzz!"

Pikachu jumped into the air, ignoring Magmar entirely and focusing on Electabuzz instead, and Serena knew he was fully trusting Delphox to stop Magmar.

Delphox gladly delivered, sending out five Hidden Power orbs, which flew at Magmar from different directions. One went directly towards Magmar, but just before it hit Serena could see the shimmer of the Light Screen as it dissipated the energy. It did, however, slow down Magmar's attack a bit, and the four other orbs, though similarly weakened by the Light Screen, forced her to brace to weather the impact.

Pikachu, meanwhile, easily dodged Electabuzz's wide swing and slammed a powerful Iron Tail straight into his face, sending him staggering back.

"Electro Ball on Magmar, Pikachu, now!" Ash yelled, and Serena responded by saying, "Mystical Fire one more time, Delphox, aim for Electabuzz!"

"Magmar, use Flamethrower on Pikachu!"

"Thunderbolt on Delphox, Electabuzz!"

Magmar inhaled and shot a massive plume of fire directly at Pikachu, but Pikachu launched his Electro Ball, easily blowing apart the flames and slamming into Magmar with tremendous force.

At the same time, Delphox's Mystical Fire easily pierced and dissipated Electabuzz's Thunderbolt, and when the dust cleared, both Magmar and Electabuzz were down for the count.

"Magmar and Electabuzz are unable to battle! Delphox and Pikachu win!" the referee announced.

The crowd cheered, and Serena and Ash exchanged a grin before thanking their Pokémon and shaking hands with their opponents.

"That was a great start!" Ash said once they were on the sidelines. "Thanks for keeping Pikachu safe from that Fire Punch," he said to Delphox.

("You're welcome,") she said with a smile.

"And thank you for stopping that Thunder Punch, Pikachu," Serena said.

("No problem!") Pikachu said with a grin. ("That went really well. They didn't even hit us once.")

"It definitely went better than last time I had a battle like this," Ash said with a grin.

"What happened last time?" Serena asked.

"May and I were partners and we ended up in a huge argument because Skitty kept hitting Corphish with Assist, and Corphish had enough of it and attacked Skitty," Ash said sheepishly.

("And then later Ash and James fought against May and Jessie in another double battle,") Pikachu said.

"But that won't happen here," Ash said. "Your Pokémon have great control over their moves, so I know you won't hit us."

Serena smiled. "I'm glad we can work together so well," she said.

("We'd better, because our next opponents are probably going to be strong. They'll have won their first match too, anyway,") Delphox said.

("We can take them,") Pikachu said.

Delphox grinned at him. ("I know we can,") she said.

Some time later, the first round was over, and Serena and Ash found out that their next opponents were another couple, Elan and Ida, who fought using a Gyarados and a Cloyster, and who'd beaten their first opponents with ease.

While Pikachu had a massive type advantage over both, and Cloyster's secondary Ice-typing made her susceptible to Delphox's fire, at least, the sheer number of Water-type moves meant that they were sure to be targeting Delphox first, so Serena felt a bit anxious when it was time for the battle to start. She knew she could hold her own just fine, but if both Cloyster and Gyarados targeted her, it would be very difficult to avoid all of their attacks.

Ash saw that Serena looked a bit worried and smiled at her. "We've got this," he said.

Serena nodded and smiled back, albeit a bit shakily. "Yeah," she said.

The referee called for the match to begin, and Ash immediately said, "Pikachu, Thunderbolt on Gyarados!"

"Hidden Power on Gyarados, Delphox!"

"Cloyster, Protect!"

"Rain Dance, Gyarados!"

Both Pikachu and Delphox fired their attacks — but Cloyster positioned herself between the attacks and Gyarados, and by closing her shell easily negated both of them, giving Gyarados time to summon a dark cloud and starting a downpour on the battlefield.

Serena frowned. Her Fire attacks were already not going to be very effective, but with the rain they would be nearly completely useless.

"Hidden Power again, Delphox! Don't give up!" she yelled, thinking at top speed to come up with a better plan.

"Now Dragon Dance, Gyarados!"

"Iron Tail on Cloyster, Pikachu! Let's take her out first!"

"Protect again, Cloyster!"

Pikachu jumped up and slammed his glowing tail into Cloyster's closed shell, but again, the damage was utterly negated. Delphox fired off her Hidden Power, this time spreading the orbs wide and bypassing Cloyster on several sides, but Gyarados had already begun spinning around, shrouded in purple clouds of energy, and while the Hidden Power rocked him, he didn't stop his dance.

"Now, Cloyster, Shell Smash, and then use Icicle Spear on Pikachu!"

Cloyster's shell glowed white and snapped open, and razor-sharp spikes of ice flew at Pikachu at tremendous speed.

"Pikachu, Quick Attack Cloyster, avoid those spears!"

Pikachu dashed, but Serena had to pay attention as well, because she had problems of her own to deal with.

"Aqua Tail on Delphox, Gyarados!"

With surprising speed, Gyarados jumped out of his spinning dance, lunging at Delphox with a tail surrounded by water.

"Dodge it, Delphox!"

Delphox waited until the last moment before ducking to the side, allowing Gyarados's tail to miss her by a hair.

Pikachu, meanwhile, had just about managed to dodge Cloyster's barrage of spears, but his attack, even though it connected, didn't seem to faze her much. This battle wasn't going nearly as well as the previous one, and both Cloyster and Gyarados had clearly set themselves up well for fast, powerful attacks. If any of them hit, it would be bad news, and with the rain still pouring down, their Water-type moves would be far stronger.

"Gyarados, Crunch!"

"Hidden Power, Delphox!"

"Icicle Spear once more, Cloyster!"

"Thunderbolt, Pikachu!"

Gyarados lunged at Delphox, fangs glowing, but she fired a blast of Hidden Power into his face — but it didn't even slow him down, and Delphox was late in throwing up her branch to shield herself, sending her flying back.

Pikachu jumped up, trying to shoot Cloyster with his Thunderbolt, but Cloyster responded faster and fired a barrage of spears at Pikachu, preventing him from finishing his attack.

Something had to change, otherwise Delphox and Pikachu would both end up getting knocked out. Gyarados was a terrible matchup for Delphox in both defense and offense, but Cloyster would be an easier target.

"Delphox, Fire Blast on Cloyster, close it around her!"

"Stop her, Gyarados! Aqua Tail!"

"Pikachu, Electro Ball on Gyarados! Protect Delphox!"

"Cloyster, Razor Shell!"

Delphox raise her wand and fired off a massive blast of fire, which looked impressive even in the rain. Cloyster launched herself forward, but Delphox controlled her Fire Blast, moving it along with Cloyster and folding the arms of the attack around her.

Gyarados tried to attack Delphox, but Pikachu launched an Electro Ball at him, forcing him to back off.

"Mystical Fire, Delphox, keep it up!"

"Break free, Cloyster, Razor Shell!"

"Aqua Tail, Gyarados!"

Delphox used her paw to maintain her Fire Blast cage around Cloyster, who was taking heavy damage despite her Water-typing and the rain, while using her branch to call up her Mystical Fire.

Gyarados swung his tail, but Ash yelled, "Grab the tail, Pikachu, and Thunderbolt!"

Pikachu jumped forwards, latching onto Gyarados's tail, who swung it around in a wild rage to try and send him flying. Pikachu, however, was where he wanted to be, and he fired off a massive Thunderbolt directly into Gyarados's body.

At the same time, Delphox fired off her Mystical Fire. The narrow beam pierced the Fire Blast cage, which dissipated, and sent Cloyster flying across the battlefield.

"Cloyster and Gyarados are both unable to battle! Delphox and Pikachu win!" the referee announced.

"Yes!" Ash yelled, pumping his fist in the air.

"We've got them! Great job!" Serena shouted at the Pokémon, before high-fiving Ash.

"We really thought we had you," Elan said with a shake of his head when they shook hands.

"I hadn't expected a Fire move to work like that, especially in the rain," Ida added.

"Serena's Pokémon are really good at controlling their moves," Ash said with a smile at Serena.

Serena felt herself blush at the compliment and said, "It was a really good match, thank you."

("Those Icicle Spears really hit hard,") Pikachu said with a wince as they walked away from the battlefield to get the Pokémon patched up before the final round.

("That Crunch as well,") Delphox said. ("The Psychic powers are fun, but those Dark-type moves hurt a lot more than they used to.")

"You did really well, though," Serena said with a smile. "Even in the rain, you managed to stop Cloyster. I was hoping the Shell Smash would've made her more susceptible to getting hit, but you did even better than I thought."

"You did really well too, Pikachu. You only hit Gyarados once, but that was enough to take him out," Ash said.

("I could've done it earlier if Cloyster hadn't been there. They were a really good team,") Pikachu said.

They reached Nurse Joy's small tent, which had a healing device set up in the back, and Pikachu and Delphox followed her over to it.

"Only one battle left, now…I wonder who's winning the other semifinal," Ash said, trying to listen to the sounds of the battle over at the field.

"I think it'll be Tyra and her boyfriend," Serena said. "She seemed like she really wanted to fight me, so I'm sure they'll have managed to make it through somehow."

Ash grinned. "How's it feel, being famous?" he asked teasingly.

"I don't think I'm that famous," Serena said, again feeling her face heat up a bit.

"Of course you are! You won the biggest Exposition thus far, didn't you? Just wait until they find out you were in the Showcase Masterclass as well," Ash said. "Isn't it great? People are recognizing how strong you are now!"

"Is that what it's like for you, when people recognize you?" Serena asked.

Ash shrugged. "I don't get recognized that much. Some people have heard of me because I got some good results in regional Leagues, but that's it. But I do like it when people think I'm strong, because it means I'm doing well," he said with a smile.

"Well, I definitely think you're strong," Serena said softly.

Ash seemed to have caught her change in tone, because he seemed to be blushing slightly when he said, "Thanks…"

A few moments later, Nurse Joy returned Pikachu and Delphox to them, and they went back to the battlefield, where they heard that, indeed, they would be fighting Tyra and Ray in the finals of the tournament.

When they lined up in the middle of the field before the final, Tyra grinned at Serena and said, "I've been looking forward to this all day. Your fights have been awesome so far."

Serena smiled back and said, "You two looked strong as well, from what I've seen. Let's make it a good match."

They went back to their own sides of the field and prepared to begin. Tyra and Ray battled with Nidoqueen and Nidoking, both of whom had been using their Sheer Force Abilities to great effect. Worse for Serena and Ash, their Ground-typing made them strong against both Pikachu's Electric-type moves and Delphox's Fire-type moves. Still, Serena wasn't about to give up. They'd overcome one big challenge already, and this one would be no different.

"Earth Power, Nidoking!"

"Helping Hand, Nidoqueen!"

"Pikachu, jump up, and then Iron Tail into Nidoking!"

"Hidden Power, Delphox, and get moving!"

Tyra and Ray clearly intended this fight to be short, because one good hit from that Earth Power would be the end for both Pikachu and Delphox, especially boosted by Nidoqueen's Helping Hand. But Delphox and Pikachu were both agile, and neither had any intention of taking the hits.

Nidoqueen shot a ball of energy from her horn into Nidoking, who slammed his fist, which glowed golden, into the ground. Cracks spread along the ground towards both Delphox and Pikachu, and both blurred into motion.

"Now, Nidoking!" Ray yelled, and Nidoking roared in response.

The ground exploded, but Serena and Ash were ready for it.

"Pikachu, Rock Tomb Climb the blocks!"

"Jump with Mystical Fire, Delphox!"

Pikachu used his tail to alter his midair trajectory, running along the erupting bits of sandstone without getting hurt by them, and Delphox fired her Mystical Fire into the ground like a jet, launching herself up out of reach of the attack.

"Iron Tail, Pikachu!"

"Fire Blast, Delphox!"

Even though Nidoqueen could resist a Fire Blast, it was still easily Delphox's strongest attack, and as she'd shown in the semifinals, it packed a punch. The flames engulfed Nidoqueen, who took a step back as she tried to shield herself from them.

Pikachu's tail glowed and he swung it down onto Nidoking, who threw up his arms to block it.

"Nidoqueen, use Toxic!"

Nidoqueen opened her mouth and fired off a blob of Toxic sludge in the direction of Delphox, who got hit and staggered.

"Venoshock, Nidoking!"

"Pikachu, Quick Attack!"

Nidoking fired off a stream of purple liquid, but Pikachu's Quick Attack threw off his aim and the attack missed, while Delphox straightened herself up, wincing as the poison weakened her.

"Superpower, Nidoqueen!"

"Hidden Power, Delphox, don't let her hit you!"

"Poison Jab, Nidoking, help Nidoqueen!"

"Pikachu, use Iron Tail and keep Nidoking away from Delphox!"

Nidoqueen roared and charged forward and Delphox raised her wand, summoning the glowing Hidden Power orbs, which she fired at Nidoqueen one after the other, while Nidoking and Pikachu traded blows, respectively with a glowing arm and tail.

"Delphox, Mystical Fire, aim for Nidoking!" Serena shouted.

Delphox clumsily dodged to the side, avoiding Nidoqueen's charge — the Hidden Power had hardly slowed her down — and fired off a blast of Mystical Fire quicker than she'd ever done. Her aim was perfect, and Nidoking staggered back with a roar of pain.

"Quick, Pikachu, Iron Tail!" Ash yelled, and Pikachu didn't waste a second.

He jumped up and slammed his tail into Nidoking's head, sending him falling over backwards and taking him out of the fight.

It was too early to cheer, however, as the earlier Toxic finally wore down Delphox, causing her to collapse, and Serena quickly recalled her to keep things from getting worse.

Only Pikachu and Nidoqueen were still in the fight, now, and they stared each other down.

"Iron Tail, Pikachu!"

"Earth Power, Nidoqueen!"

Nidoqueen slammed both of her arms into the ground as Pikachu dashed forwards.

"Go, Pikachu, Rock Tomb Climb one more time!"

The ground beneath him erupted, but once again Pikachu showed his agility, and he kept his tail glowing as he dashed across the exploding, uneven ground and the flying slabs of earth. Nidoqueen raised her arms to protect herself, like Nidoking had done before, but she still seemed a bit tired from her earlier Superpower, and with a last flip, Pikachu slammed his tail into her, sending her down for the count as well.

"Nidoking and Nidoqueen are both unable to battle! Pikachu and Delphox win, which means the victory goes to Ash and Serena!" the referee said.

Ash cheered and turned to Serena. "We did it, Serena! We won!" he said happily.

"Yeah! Well done, Ash, and you too, Pikachu," Serena added when Pikachu, panting, rejoined them.

"You too, Serena," Ash said. "You and Delphox were great! That Mystical Fire won us the match, no doubt about it."

He didn't sound like he was just trying to cheer Serena up. Instead, he sounded grateful, and Serena smiled and said, "Thanks, Ash. Come on, let's go thank Tyra and Ray."

They walked over to the middle of the field, or what was left of it after the fight.

Tyra grinned at both Serena and Ash and said, "That was great! We had a lot of fun. Man, you two are strong."

"I thought that our combination would take both of you out before we even began," Ray said. "But our Earth Powers helped you more than us, in the end. Well done, both of you."

They shook hands, and the audience applauded. After getting Delphox and Pikachu patched up by Nurse Joy, and the field had been more or less restored to its original form, the awards ceremony was held. Like Tyra had said, Serena and Ash — and their Pokémon — were given small, ornate ribbons as a sign of their victory, but the real prize, of course, was the free dinner they'd won, provided by the food stands.

Many of the spectators came over to congratulate them while they were eating, and while it was a bit embarrassing, Serena secretly enjoyed the attention, as did Delphox. By the time dinner was over, it was so late that they decided to stay in Mindaro Town for the night, so they rented a room in the Pokémon Center.

"Today was great," Ash said with a satisfied sigh as he dropped onto his bed.

Serena nodded. "Yeah! I'm glad we were here just when they were holding the tournament. It was a lot of fun battling together with you, Ash," she said.

"It was," Ash agreed. "I think we make a pretty good team," he added.

"Yeah, we do…"

Come on, kiss him now! Serena mentally yelled at herself. They'd won a tournament together, what could be better?!

But then Ash got up, stretched, and began rummaging around in his bag for his toothbrush.

Serena sighed when he walked into the bathroom, but then she smiled. There'd be enough chances yet.

Sorry for the abrupt ending, but it's well past midnight and I've been going for way too long. Anyway, I wanted to try some double battles, and I think it went decently well. I clearly need more practice with them, but there's more than enough time to correct that.

The couple names are all from double battles in the games, and there's even one team in the games using Cloyster and Onix, which I considered as well for fairly obvious reasons, but since Onix is hot garbage I went with Gyarados as a simultaneously more and less flaccid alternative. The dev who put that team in definitely has my respect for sneaking that into a kids' game, though.

As always, let me know what you think, and see you in the next one!
