Ep 9 : The Pilot of TSAFT (Three Sun Alliance of Freedom Treaty).
(In this Update: I replaced the Seed Gundam reference with UC Gundam because they are more accurate).
In a world at the western edge of the current Segmentum Solar.
It was the planet of Adoria.
Adoria is a habitable planet but has something rare.
Indeed, it is one of the few planets to have kept much of its way of life from the Technological Age.
She was able to sustain herself with Ferra, a volcanic planet that continuously shed minerals that fed Adoria's humming industry.
However, the families of Navigators who owed the safety of their interstellar journeys died out long ago due to the isolation caused by the Warp storms. So when the storms finally ceased in 701.M30, alternatives had to be found for space travel.
They were forced to build artificial colonies modeled after Terra Age colonies, replicating their planet's environment within them to make Warp travel short and fairly accurate. But by continually extending these colonies to neighboring star systems, wars of independence and control raged in the Three Systems of Adoria between the planets and systems.
To maintain cohesion, Adoria created an interstellar government named the TSAFT (Three Sun Alliance of Freedom Treaty) in 732.M30. Thus, the leaders of the planetary and space colonies were members of a decision-making council headed by the Chairman of Adoria, who was president of the council.
As the TSAFT harmonized and explored the surrounding planets for the duration of the 7th century of the 30th millennium. In 789.M30, an exploration in the western sector of the 3rd System turned into a nightmare with the attack of the Empire of Golden Moons, an Ork empire ruled by a Klan of Bad Moons. With their ships patched and gleaming, entire colonies of the Third System were obliterated by the Golden Moons. The War of the Golden Moons broke out and lasted several decades, stopping the Ork advance and stabilizing the front. The Knights of this time proved to be vital and allowed TSAFT to think about a new machine production based on the studies of the STCs of the kingdom. Thus, the knights used in combat end up being replaced by new machines. Called Mobile Suits, they focused on mobility rather than power. Now mass-produced starship reactors were incorporated into them, giving them power.
Of course, regarding the computer system, they dithered over how it would work. Some scholars argued that the Abominable Intelligences had to be used again because of the urgency, but no one would be foolish enough to do so. Instead, Controlled Intelligences were created. Based on the ancient intelligences of Terra, the Human had absolute power over them as the programs were enhanced by human hands. A perfect balance.
The Mobile Suits allowed the stabilization of the borders but the war was still raging and the fear of a WAAAGH was more and more present.
Providence ended up smiling when a capsule from distant Terra appeared on the Side 3 colony on the planet of Adoria in 792.M30.
It was a group of 110 colonies orbiting the throne planet of the alliance.
A 21-year-old girl stood in the void, dressed in her space suit, repairing a broken star panel. At the end of a gigantic space solar plant supplying Side 3-102.
As she was going to set up the second panel, she then saw a large light in front of her. A red light from a large door. She was impressed. Then something came out, a large black capsule with letters written on it that didn't mean anything. The portal closed as if nothing had happened. The capsule was heading at a dangerous speed towards the other panels.
The girl launched herself at the capsule and braked it with her dorsal thrusters before stabilizing it at the same speed of movement as the colony was rotating. Finally, when the capsule stopped in the void. She looked inside and saw in amazement that he had a baby inside. A sleeping baby.
She decided to pull the capsule towards the colony to warn her comrades who were entering the station.
The girl activated her microphone.
The girl: "Hey guys! I have a problem!"
Other astronauts saw her with the capsule and approached her.
Astronaut 1: "Kia, what is this thing?"
Astronaut 2: "Where does it come from?"
Kia: "I have no idea. It came out of a little warp portal! Look what's inside!"
Astronaut 3: "A baby!"
Astronaut 4: "What are we doing?"
Kia: "We're taking him back to the station!"
Astronaut 5: "But we don't know anything! If it is, it could be a Greenskin trap!"
Astronaut 6: "Impossible. Making a smart plan like that is not in their head."
Astronaut 7: "We're taking him back to the colony! We're not going to leave a baby here!"

Everyone activated their thrusters and took the capsule to the colony. More and more astronauts saw the small group bring back this strange black capsule.
They arrived at the airlock where the astronauts enter and exit. An astronaut with a yellow suit arrived in front of the group.
The site manager: "What's going on?"
Astronaut 7: "We found this capsule! Look!"
The foreman approached the capsule and saw the baby.
Site manager: "Bring this capsule inside and I want an explanation."
Later, in a large room inside the colony.
Scientists surrounded the machine and had just taken the baby out.
Scientist 1: "It's utterly implausible. It's a machine that works beyond anything we've known."
Scientist 2: "We need to notify Adoria about this discovery."
Scientist 3: "And the baby in all this?"
The others remained silent.
On the side of the young Astronaut woman, now dressed in black pants, a green sweater while her long black hair stood out, tied in a ponytail. Her emerald eyes stood out the most from her face.
She was facing an investigator.
Investigator: "We checked your testimony with your on-board camera and that of the station. You told the truth about the apparition."
Kia: "What will happen to the baby?"
Investigator: "The orphanage will be the only voice until this case is solved..."
Kia: "I think I'll take him with me. I got him back and I think I can take care of him."
Investigator: "You will have to do your approach first."
Kia: "Well..."
She got up and left the investigator's office.
A few days later...
She arrived at her apartment with the baby. You could see the vastness of the city inside the settlement. Years pass and young Kira Saito grows up.
His progress was dazzling at the age of ten. He knew all that Adoria could offer in terms of knowledge. He was interested in military sciences in particular.
But the war against the Orks took on a new dimension at the age of 13 in 805.M30. Indeed, the Ork Rurgakro named "The Moonz of the Hundred Tooth Gold" was attacking Side 15 of the mining planet of Ferra and his armies were about to invade the planet. Reinforcements are demanded from everywhere and increasingly young recruits are requested.
He was requisitioned on the planet Adoria to study for the creation of a new Mobile Suit that would change the course of the war.
The young Kira, now sporting Adoria's characteristic brown hair and black eyes, was present with the other scientists on the planet.

Scientist 1: "So there's the young prodigy from Side 3, nice to meet you."
Kira: "To you too."
Scientist 2: "If we had a hundred geniuses like you. We would have already won."
Kira: "I know... Let's start..."
They show the Mobile Suit in question.
(Note: Adoria's Mobile Suits are RX-178 Gundam Mk-11).
Unlike the other Mobile Suits, it had large half-finished blue wings.
Kira: "What's his name?"
Scientist 4: "Eternal Justice. This machine will bring it down on the greenskins."
Kira: "Hmm..."
For months on end, Eternal Justice was assembled and programmed.

The first test finally came and Kira decided to pilot the experimental Mobile Suit himself. Adoria's President Draken Aro was present along with the other TSAFT board members.
President Draken: "So this is the latest of Adoria's experiments... This gem of technology will lay off the Bad Moons."
Council Member 1: "It is said that the young prodigy Kira Saito is in charge."
President Draken: "Let's see..."
Eternal Justice took off and began flying through the sky at insane speeds.
The leaders were impressed. The Mobile Suit deployed its large plasma cannons. The cannons thundered over the ocean water causing great explosions.
Everyone, especially Kia, was impressed with this demonstration of the Mobile Suit.
President Draken smiled.
Draken: "I believe I have found a new science branch commander."
Kia: "Really, Mr. President?"
Draken: "Look at your boy. He's the greatest prodigy in the history of this planet."
Kia: "Do you believe it? Will my child really make it?"
Draken: "Yes. By then the Ork Empire will be defeated and TSAFT will free the stars."
The Mobile Suit continued to show its performance in the sky before finally landing on the airport.
He exited the pod and descended before removing his helmet.
Kia took Kira's hands.
Kia: "I'm so proud of you my son."
Kira: "You're welcome mom."
President Draken arrived in front of him.
Draken: "Kira Saito. I think our collaboration is far from over. How about being transferred to the scientific-military section of the TSAFT?"
Kira: "Hm... it's true that the Orks are threatening TSAFT. I'm going to devote myself to it. This Mobile Suit I made with these scientists. I can make it again!"
Draken shook the young boy's hand.
Eternal Justice and its mass-produced versions turned the war in TSAFT's favor. Rurgakro is forced to flee the planet, and TSAFT forces drive the Orks back to the frontier of the third star system: on the Moon of Tur, a moon on the border of the Empire of the Golden Moons within two years.
Kira Saito for his part climbs the military ranks of the scientific section of the TSAFT. Versions II and III of the Eternal Justice are built and mass produced.
In 808.M30, Kira Saito now Admiral of the Science Fleet along with the other TSAFT council members on Adoria.
Kira: "Here's my plan. It's about Operation Moonfall."
Draken: "How will it go?"
Kira: "It's a massive offensive aimed at smashing the Ork Empire head-on. With the numbers and power of the Mobile Suits. We can take them by surprise and overwhelm them."
Council Member 1: "That's ridiculous. Why charge the Orks head-on? It's their specialty and will predict it."
Council Member 2: "I'm not sure. Strength in numbers can outlast the Orks. Especially since our Commander's Mobile Suits are proof against Ork weapons."
Member 3: "He has proven himself in building Mobile Suits. I think we should let him organize Operation Moonfall."
Draken: "For me my decision has been made. The Orks must be defeated and this: all means are good."
Kira: "Thank you..."
Shortly after, he left the meeting and found his mother.
Kia: "So?"
Kira: "I have my hands free."
Kia: "Take care Kira."
Kira: "I would be Mom."
Operation Moonfall began on the Moon of Tur. Nearly a hundred thousand Mobile Suits arrived on the surface of Tur while a hundred more were in space with the huge TSAFT fleet, ready to cut off the fleet of Ork corsairs that were supplying the party. of the Ork-occupied Moon of Tur.
In his vessel "The Eternal Hope", Admiral Kira Saito was nervously awaiting the fateful hour of the planned attack at 3:30 am. There was only one minute left.
The ship's captain was nervous.
Kira: "What's wrong with you captain?"
Captain: "To be honest, I'm scared of what's going to happen."
Kira: "Don't show it. Know that we feel the same but let's avoid spreading fear."
Captain: "Good Admiral..."
Finally, the hour arrived after countless seconds.
Kira: "Go ahead! The operation begins!"
The Mobile Suits came out of the ships and the latter charged against the Ork corsair fleet.

The Ork ships were taken by surprise and a good part of them are destroyed under immense deluges of fire, laser, missiles and laser.
An hour later, the airspace on Tur was completely taken over by Admiral Kira's forces. Below, two-thirds of the moon had fallen to TSAFT.
Nevertheless, it took three whole hours to destroy the last Ork resistances which reorganized and put-up fierce resistance. But despite this, the victory was absolute on the planet. A contingent was left behind on the Moon as the TSAFT assault fleet sailed into the Warp towards the next Ork planet.
Thus, in the next months, Operation Moonfall was destroying the Ork planets of the Empire of Golden Moons one by one.
These worlds were more uninhabitable moons than real planets. In the center was the moon of the Tooth. A moon with a gigantic, pointed mountain. It was the patched and gold-covered palace of Rurgakro. The Golden Moons Warboss.
It is said that this beast in addition to having an impressive size of 3 meters 50 would have gold teeth, at least a hundred hence its nickname. Besides being a formidable corsair, his Ork Empire is renowned among other Warbands for its wealth. Moreover, he was a fierce Gorker, finding that a surprise WAAAGH would be a non-Ork plan.
In addition, the planets taken by TSAFT were full of minerals. Allowing the establishment of manufacturing plants for the creation of ever more Mobile Suits.
Divisions placed to the rear were able to go to war, further bolstering the strength of Operation Moonfall, increasing the number of Mobile Suits to over three hundred thousand.
The gigantic TSAFT fleet arrived towards the planet which was defended by the Nobz fleet of the Bad Moons.
A deluge of fire fell and more and more Mobile Suits came to the planet as the Ork defense fleet was destroyed.
For an entire day, the planet was purged as fleets chased reinforcements.
The Gold-toothed Warboss was eventually found fighting with his Gargant against an army of nearly 1000 Mobile Suits. This fight of Titans was devastating against the Mobile Suits but always more came to replace the deceased while the Gargant was damaged by force of blows. Eventually, it exploded into a huge explosive mushroom. Taking with him the Warboss and what was left of the Nobz.
Thus, the Tooth Moon was taken as the Empire of the Golden Moons crumbled with the death of their leader.
The months that followed were the annihilation of the Golden Moons which had split into several small unstable kingdoms with the death of Rurgakro. The WAAGHs between the Bad Moons realms left them dwarfed and weak in the face of TSAFT's now unstoppable onslaught.
Finally, in the middle of the year 809.M30, the last moon inhabited by Orks was purged, the remaining fleets fled into the depths of space.
Adoria and the other colonies celebrated the victory over the Orks and Kira Saito had a triumph for him.
After this war, Kira Saito was with his mother having lunch on the terrace of the palace of Adoria.
Kia: "Finally this war is over. We can finally live in peace."
Kira: "We can finally find new colonies and conquer new planets."
Kia: "I wonder..."
Kira: "Yes?"
Kia: "Do you want to run for president of TSAFT?"
Kira: "I'm still too young. I'm only 17."
Kia: "Certainly, but in a few months. You will be of age and in a year, elections will be held.
Kira: "Hm... It's true that I have important projects."
Kia: "Which ones?"
Kira: "You'll see. Might as well take advantage of this popularity."
They took their meals.
Almost a year later. Draken ended his term as president by retiring. Kira made his inauguration as chairman of the board of TSAFT, he wins hands down.
Reforms are undertaken in TSAFT and allowed to correctly organize the colonization of the new planets available for Adoria and its colonies.

Colonies are built on the moons of the ancient Ork Empire, both on the surface and in orbit around them.
This colonization caused a great demographic boom which encouraged the exploration of new planets.
The TSAFT was in the meantime renamed the Treaty of Alliance of the Free Stars, the TAFS.
Finally, in 819.M30. A fleet arrived on the planet of Arisea. A planet recently conquered by the Imperium.
There, the Rogues Traders were made aware of TAFS but were surprised to see that a civilization from the Technological Age had been able to keep most of its inventions intact over the millennia.
The TAFS explorers on their side were surprised and delighted to see that other humans can be reunited under the Imperium.
The following year, the Emperor himself arrived in person on Adoria to respond to the request for an alliance with the Imperium.
The Emperor and the two Primarchs were impressed that a planet could sustain itself through the Age of Strife. Like what, there were safe places despite the fact that the universe is so cruel.
Meanwhile, President Kira Saito had continued to grow abnormally, reaching the size of a giant and having gigantic strength. Kira knew he was from somewhere else because of his explanations from his adoptive mother and the authorities. But its growth had only reinforced these questions, but the visit of this Emperor was perhaps going to bring answers.
Council Member 1: "Mr. President. I don't trust this Emperor. He could subjugate alliance planet by force."

Emperor: "So come with me to the Bucephelus to negotiate."
He held out his hand and the President took it with some hesitation. Then the two disappeared before appearing on the deck of the ship.
Kira was impressed with the size of the bridge.
Much larger than the small decks of his ship, Eternal Hope.
Emperor: "You're not going to believe this. But in your size and skill as a ruler. You are one of my sons. One of my twenty primarchs, the 2nd."
Kira: "I would have guessed... Even though I grew up and learned to love Adoria. I felt out of place. But what happened to bring me here?"
The Emperor then explained to him what happened on Terra.
Emperor: "Your mother, Salem, the witch of Terra is not present. She is with your brother Leman Russ."
Kira: "I understand... But I don't know if I could lead the 2nd Legion. I devoted myself to making the Mobile Suits on Adoria and I stayed behind to plan. I am not a warrior but a general. "
Emperor: "That's no problem. The Second Legion will obey you. Speaking of Mobile Suits. Can you explain how they work?"
Kira explained what a Mobile Suit was and the Emperor looked up.
Emperor: "So this planet has found a way to do without Knights and Titans... These machines would be a great asset to the Imperium."
Kira: "Thank you..."
Emperor: "You're welcome... But beware. The Tech-Priests have their eye on your Mobile Suits because these machines are at the limit of what their religion accepts."
Kira: "I understand..."
Thus, Kira Saito in turn went on the Great Crusade with his TAFS armies and the II Legion. He was a different Primarch than his two brothers. In fact, he stays out from the fight and the leading of the Legion on the ground was lead by the second-in-command. But, the planification of the fight was meticulous and victories by the II Legion and Mobile Suits Pilots.
He met his two brothers Horus Lupercal and Leman Russ and getting along. But also and above all his mother on the planet Nikaea accompanied by Kia.
She hugged him in her little arms.
Salem: "I'm so happy to see you again."
She turned to Kia and took her hands.
Salem: "Thank you..."
Kia: "You're welcome... I can finally meet the beaming mother of my own adopted son. Too bad I can't live enough to see him fight during the whole Crusade..."
Salem: "You know, there are youth serums. You take them and you feel young again. You'll have plenty of time to see the Imperium."
Kia: "Thank you for this information..."
Salem: "There are a lot of your brothers left Kira. 17 are still stuck somewhere on a planet. But we'll be a family again. Not matter how much time passes..."
