A/N: For one of the prompts I didn't get around to using for tw100's challenge 316 earlier this year. I've dug them out again to supplement the prompts I got from my f-list, just because there are still loads I wanted to use. Prompt at end.

Passerby (Guest): *rolls eyes Ianto style* Yes, I am fully aware that Jack is not actually American. However, both he and Ianto were suffering from Amnesia so they only knew what they could observe or hear. To both of them, the fact that he sounded American was enough for them to give him that designation.
As to how a database can be accidentally downloaded into someone's brain - I take it you've never watched Stargate SG-1. It happened on there quite easily, just from someone's head being in the wrong place at the wrong time. This is science fiction - emphasis on the fiction. Who knows what an alien device might be capable of? And with the Doctor involved, anything is possible.
I should point out that while there are some serious drabbles in this collection, the majority are written to provide amusement and etertainment for writer and readers alike. It's possible to over-analyse things. This was written as a bit of light-hearted fun because we all sometimes need a laugh.
Thank you.

Rift alerts in the country presented their own unique set of problems. When the Rift dumped something in the streets of Cardiff, locating it wasn't necessarily simple but with the help of the city's CCTV network, they could often pinpoint its location fairly accurately.
In the countryside, it was a case of searching the old-fashioned way.
"You check along the road," Jack told Ianto, "I'll hop over into the field and look there."
Five minutes later, there was a yell from Jack.
"Ianto! Help?"
Looking over the fence, Ianto had to laugh; Jack had been cornered by a territorial goat!
