I remember being very excited for my very first college spring break trip my college mates and I took in Spring 1999. What with everything going on with my college studies, my College X Games training, working to earn money, learning to drive a car and being part of one of Spoonerville College's most successful theatre productions ever, how could I not? Now, don't get me wrong, I was enjoying all that cool college stuff and I don't regret any of it, but even a guy like me needed a big break from having fun every now and then.

My college mates and I were going to Bozeman in Montana for our Spring Break trip. On the bus heading to there, I remember Lola sitting next to me and resting her beautiful head on my shoulder as she slept, which I liked a lot. I remember PJ and Lucy sitting next to each other and I remember Bobby trying to sit next to a single girl and flirt with her, but he failed and sat all alone. My dad and Sylvia were taking their own Spring Break trip in Wilmington in North Carolina. My dad was going to meet Sylvia's family for the first time ever.

It was mid-afternoon when my college mates and I arrived in Bozeman. After we grabbed our luggage from the bus, we checked into the two-star hotel we were staying in, grabbed our key cards and we went to our rooms. Before I went to my room, I helped Lola with her big suitcase and took it into her room. It was a nice room. It had a nice bed, a big TV, a nice bathroom and it even had a balcony. After making sure Lola was okay with her room and unpacking, which she was, I headed to my room. My room looked exactly the same as Lola's room did.

Then PJ, Lucy, Bobby, Lola and I went out that night to explore the amazing city of Bozeman. It was a great city and it was very lively at night. There was a lot of live music and dancing, which we did a lot of. There were so many places serving plenty of delicious food that we found it hard to choose. We managed to get into a barbeque food restaurant that I still can't remember the name of, but I still remember that it was a very nice place and the barbeque food we ate there was very delicious.

The next day, as it was a lovely day, my friends and I went to experience the Bozeman Hot Springs. It was very busy when we went, but we managed to get into them. They were so amazing. We enjoyed them so much that we didn't want to leave them for a very long time.

Then the next day, we went for a nice hiking trip in Hyalite Canyon. It was a perfect day for hiking as the weather was lovely and we explored a lot of beautiful things including the tall, striking trees, Palisade Falls, Emerald Lake and the Hyalite Reservoir.

Then the next day, we went on a tour in Yellowstone National Park. We saw many incredible things, including the hot springs, the geysers, all the many Bisons (there were more Bisons than I could count or shake a stick at), the Beartooth Highway and the many beautiful trees, rocks and rest of the many wildlife among its gorgeous beauty.

Then the next day, we visited two museums. The first one we went to was the Museum of the Rockies and the second one was the American Computer and Robotics Museum. Both museums were very interesting and I learned an awful lot from them.

Then Lola and I started to do our own thing. The next day, we went to Glen Lake Rotary Park, also known as Bozeman Beach, and we had a great day there. We tried some fishing and I taught Lola how to do the perfect cast, which I hadn't done since Summer 1995, but I still remembered how my dad taught me. Then we did many more things together like kayaking and play volleyball. Lola surprised me when she showed me that she was very good at those things. Then we chilled out and had delicious sandwiches that we bought from the supermarket before we headed back to the hotel.

Then the next day, Lola wanted to go horseback riding, so I went with her. We did it in the Custer Gallatin National Forest. I wasn't very good at it at first and I kept falling off a lot. I never did it before, but Lola used to do it a lot when she was younger. She hadn't ridden a horse in years, but for her it was like riding a bike. She hadn't forgotten how to ride a horse, she still got the skills and she gave me good advice on how to ride my horse. I listened to her advice and that made the rest of the horse trip more pleasurable.

Then the next day the trip came to an end and we had to go back to Spoonerville College and our lessons, my College X Games practice for the second championship, going back to work and learning how to drive a car, but we all had a great break from college life and we were ready to go back. And I had to learn about what my dad and Sylvia's own Spring Break went and if he liked her family and if he embarrassed her in front of them. Sylvia told me that he was his usual clumsy self for a bit, but her family loved him the way he was and he got on with them in return.

I enjoyed that Spring Break trip in Bozeman an awful lot, I really liked staying at that hotel, which I still can't remember the name or if it's still in business, but it was a very nice one and like I said I enjoyed my time there, and I enjoyed doing all of those cool things I did with my best friends and my wonderful girlfriend, but the best part of that trip for me (and hopefully for Lola too) was when Lola and I would meet either in my room or her room and we would get under our beds and have our private fun. Even though we had plenty of busy days, we were never too busy to have our special fun every night.
