Scene 79

On the dock where Lando is working along side his family, Lando is loading passengers and directing the crowds while his new pet Burrik is on his shoulder. R2 and C-3PO are helping as well by making sure the ships are ready for take off.

Lando: (To a group of people) Ok, I need you all over this way! Hurry!

At that moment, Lando's wife Mornia comes up to him.

Mornia: Dear, you have a ugent transmission, it's from Leia.

Lando: Ok thanks...

Lando grabs his pet burrik who tries to hide in his cape. He hands it to Mornia.

Lando: Here take this guy...let the kids play with him awhile...

The Burrik looks at Lando and coos and paws at him playfully. Lando can't help but smile.

Lando: Ok ok. I'll see ya later pal alright.

Mornia: We'll take good care of him.

Lando: Love you...

Mornia: Love you too...

The two kiss goodbye as the Burrik hops back on Lando! Lando quickly grabs it and hands her back to Mornia.

Lando: Oh no you don't!

Mornia walks off as she smiles. Lando smiles back. He starts to turn around but then turns back to her.

Lando: Cally Coo...

Mornia: (Laughs) What?!

Lando: That's her name...Cally Coo.

Mornia: Well don't let her take my place!

Lando: She'll have to lose a lot of fur before she does that!

Cally Coo looks at Lando and back at Mornia with wide eyes as he says that.

Mornia: (To Cally Coo) Don't listen to him girl...and if you want to live long...don't eat his cooking!

Lando: I heard that!

Mornia walks off as Lando gets on his comlink to talk to Leia. Meanwhile, R2 is using his plasma cutter to soder a damaged circuit board while C-3PO gives him advice.

C-3PO: No you moronic pile of scrap! You're fusing the wrong wires!

R2 beeps instantly that he is doing the job right.

C-3PO: What would I know!? Who do you think puts you back together every time your damaged?

R2 beeps and whistles a reply.

C-3PO: Well I know Chewbacca does, but I tell him how to do it!

R2 whistles and wines again.

C-3PO: When did he tell you he never listens to me?!

R2 beeps and blurps something back.

C-3PO: Well as far as I know, you could be making the whole thing up.

R2 whines once more.

C-3PO: I will ask him, that you can be sure of!

Lando comes in right then to talk to the droids.

Lando: Hey you two, drop what your doing and come with me! I just got word from Leia! We're leaving!

Scene 80

At the base of operations where Leia and Han are, Leia and Han are talking to a holographic image of Luke and briefing him on the situation.

Luke: Thank you Leia...I'll join you as soon as I can...as soon as Exodus's fleet is loaded I'll order him to take off...

Leia: Any idea what his true motives are?

Luke: I'm not sure...but the timing of Thrawn's attack seems to be a clue... nevertheless, I have to try to save these people if I can...

Leia: Hurry...you don't have much time...

Luke: I will...

Han: Hey kid...may the force be with you.

Luke: May the force be with all of us!

Luke's holographic transmission ends as Lando, C-3PO, and R2 enter the room.

Lando: So I hear we have a war to win. When do we leave?

Leia: Immediately. I need as many fighters as we can spare.

Han: And this time the kids are staying out of it!

Leia: Agreed. Speaking of which, I have to tell them to finish up here and get off this icebox before the deadline.

Leia turns on her comlink and contacts Celia.

Leia: Celia are you there...Celia come in!

Cut to:

Celia stops running and grabs her comlink.

Celia: Mother! I was just coming to get you! Something's happened!

Leia: What's wrong?!

Celia: Some security guards were killed by some men and a hooded figure! I think Saul is going after them!

Leia: What?!

Han hears what's going on and speaks up.

Han: Listen! We are having an emergency of our own. Coruscant is under attack and we have to leave now! Now I want you to go back and order Saul to stop what he's doing and you two get on a ship as soon as you can and get somewhere safe until you hear from us! Do you understand? You're out of time on this planet!

Celia: Yes...I understand...I won't let you down father.

Han: Good. Now get going!

Scene 81

Below the city, the hooded man navigates through the dark and murky tunnel system as his men follow close behind with their blasters ready. They approach a dead end wall with some kind of ancient writing on it. The hooded man takes out his lightsaber and cuts through the wall and enters a new room. The man takes out a small hand held device and turns it on. It lights up the whole room and floats above his head acting as some kind of droid lantern. In the room are several crates.

Scene 82

Not far behind, Saul is running down the tunnel with his lightsaber in hand. He comes to a split path and stops to think.

Saul: Ok...now what...

Saul closes his eyes and focuses on the force. After a moment to clear his head he continues down one of the paths.

Scene 83

At the main hanger bay, Leia and Han board the Chevalier along with R2, Chewbacca, Wicket and C-3PO. Han stops to address Chewbacca.

Han: Chewie, did you get the falcon loaded on the Chevalier?

Chewie howls to say he did.

Han: Good. We sure wouldn't want to leave without that!

Everyone gets aboard and is ready to leave. Lando gets aboard the silver ray with Kippo.

Lando: Well I guess you're stuck with me Kippo!

Kippo: I'm free and not stuck to you...

Lando: (With a laugh) I'll remember that! ...So...You ready for another fight boss?

Kippo: I will die to the end and fight.

Lando: I'll take that as a yes!

Lando fires up his ship and the rest of the cruisers start to leave the planet.

On the Chevalier, Han approaches Leia who looks out a window very distressed...

Han: I know you don't want to leave these people...

Leia: Am I doing the right thing Han?

Han:...No...you're doing the only thing you can...

Leia: I hope your right...

Across the room, Wicket says something while waving his spear to R2 and R2 beeps back. C-3PO replies to them both.

C-3PO: Well my furry little friend, don't count on your spear this time! That crude weapon in such a uncivilized area where you're from may work, but this battle will be on Coruscant; a highly civilized place indeed!

Wicket growls and grunts something to him.

C-3PO: No I don't think you're prepared! If I were you I'd hunker down and hide until this whole war business is over! It really is our only chance!

R2 beeps something to C-3PO.

C-3PO: Well I admire your courage, but if you value your lives you'll listen to me!

Just then Han addresses Chewbacca.

Han: Chewie, make the jump as soon as we're clear!

Chewie howles and after a few seconds presses the lever on this ship as it jumps into hyperspace. All the other ships follow suit, and jump as well.

Scene 84

In the hidden room under the city, the hooded man and his troops are rummaging through the crates. After a few are overturned, it seems that the one they were searching for has been found. The hooded man opens the chest and sees a single scrap of paper with a single ancient word on it. He looks at it for a moment and tucks it away carefully in his cloak. Just then Saul comes in from behind with his light saber ignited!

Saul: You killed my friends Exodus! Now you have to go through me...but you will not make it!

The hooded man that Saul believes is Exodus deactivates his lightsaber and slowly raises his hand and points to Saul. The men raise their blasters at Saul but he starts deflecting every blast back to them! After a few fall down dead, Saul moves in and engages the rest at a closer range all while deflecting several blasts. Within a few seconds, Saul is able to take out all of them except the hooded man who draws his red saber again. Saul and the man trade just a few blows but the man is clearly overpowering him. He quickly maneuvers the saber out of Saul's hands with a swift blow and causes it to fall to the ground. Saul tires to use the force to draw it back but the man quickly force pushes Saul against the wall! The man then uses the force to knock a pile of crates on top of him. As Saul struggles to get up, the man runs out of the door and turns around. He puts his hands up and uses the force to create a ice barrier in the doorway! Saul gets up and runs towards him but the ice wall is too thick for him to break!

Saul: No!

Saul uses the force to grab his saber as the hooded man escapes! He quickly breaks the wall with the saber and starts to run after him, but when he gets to a split in the tunnels, he realizes he has lost him.
