Summary: Dennis has always been a great flier when he is a bat, but when it comes to Flying School, he gets nervous. To help, Winnie becomes Dennis' personal assistant.
This chapter is the parody of the episode: Boating School.
Dennis is feeling very excited, because today is the day of his flying test. "I've never felt this capable in my entire life!", he said, as he wobbly flies past the hallway.
In the hotel, there was a training center, where young vampires can learn how to fly like a bat. Dennis soon realized that he was in the right place, when he saw a vampire kid holding up a certificate.
"Yes!", he said, holding up his certificate, and said to Dennis, "I just got my certificate!". "Well, I'm going to get mine next.", Dennis happily said.
"I doubt it.", the older kid said, and flew off. "Okay, I'm ready!", Dennis shouted, going towards a raven-like monster, who unlike Dennis, was worried.
The raven's name is Swifton, and as he started to get his paperwork ready, he thought, "I'm not ready.". He soon approaches the young dhampir, holding a clipboard in his right wing, and a pencil in his left.
"Hi, Swifton!", said Dennis, who smiled his greatest smile, "I'm ready to take my flying exam once again.". "We know that.", the raven said, "But first like last time, you need to pass the oral test.".
In the oral test, Swifton would ask Dennis various questions about the basics of flying, the conditions required to fly, and the potential hazards of flying. "I have been studying for this exam all week!", Dennis said.
"So,", said Swifton, before asking his first question, "What do you check first, before you take off to fly?". Dennis responded, "The wind.", with confidence. "What do you call a flying method that doesn't involve flapping?", the raven asked. "Soaring.", Dennis responded again.
Throughout the exam, Dennis got every one of the questions right. "You've passed the oral test, which is no surprise.", Swifton said, before going towards a runway.
"Now, it is time once again,", the raven said, "to take the flying aspect of the test.". Dennis wasn't as nervous as Swifton, but he was willing to pass this test. "Okay, Dennis.", Swifton said, "Get to your starting position on the runway.".
"You mean, this runway?", Dennis asked, to which Swifton told the kid to do as he is told. "Now, what do I do?", he asked, looking at Swifton.
Dennis, now in his bat form, was feeling very excited, that he didn't know what to do. "Well, the first thing you need to do, is spread your wings.", Swifton said, to which at that point, Dennis starts to get fidgety.
"Dennis, it's just your wings flowing in the breeze.", the raven said, trying to calm Dennis down. "Oh,", Dennis said, now feeling a bit more calmer.
"Now do you remember what you do next?", Swifton asked. "You fly, right?", Dennis asked.
"Yes... Uh, I mean, NO!", Swifton tried to tell Dennis, but he ended up doing it anyway. Dennis was now flying back and forth, not realizing that the wind is sending him in all directions.
Soon, Swifton, who was holding onto Dennis, was flung into a wall, with his head being stuck. "Oh, Dennis", he said, "Why?!".
That night, Dennis, who is all sad because he failed the test, is talking with his pet dog. "I don't know why, Tinkles!", Dennis said, knowing that he took the test multiple times. only to realize that he keeps failing.
"I've took it 7 times, and I often mess up,", he said, "What should I do?". Tinkles suggest that Dennis should rather stick to walking, but he refuses, because he loves to fly.
Soon, a voice from under Dennis' said, "Wolf to Bat, Wolf to Bat. Do you read?". It was Winnie's voice on a walkie-talkie, "Winnie, I'm not in the mood right now.", Dennis said.
"Get out of bed!", Winnie said, and Dennis followed her command. "Now what?", Dennis asked, still annoyed, with Winnie saying, "Go to your closet for a surprise.". Dennis soon went over to the closet that Winnie was talking about.
"Okay,", Dennis said, "I'm at the closet.". "Now listen carefully...", Winnie said, as she said the following riddle, "What howls at the moon, and wears a cape?". "I don't know, Winnie?", Dennis asked, as he opened the closet door.
"Winnie the Vampire Wolf!", the werewolf finally said, revealing herself wearing one of Dracula's capes. Dennis however, wasn't so amused, "Put Papa Drac's cape back, it looks big on you.", he said.
Winnie soon took the cape off, and noticed Dennis in a chair, all sad. "What's the matter?", she asked. "I can't pass my flying exam, and I've already took it 7 times already.", Dennis said.
"I know all the answers, and practiced flying,", he continued, "until I get on the actual course. I just need something to help me think straight.". "Thinking straight is what I do.", Winnie said, "You fly, and I'll do all the thinking for you.".
"But how are we going to do that?", Dennis asked, before Winnie shoved one of the walkie-talkies into Dennis' hair, to which it sprouted on top. "Come in, Dennis.", Winnie talked into her walkie-talkie, "Hello?".
"Hey,", said Dennis, realized what Winnie was trying to say, "I can hear you in my head. This is great, cebause while I'm taking the test, you can give me all the answers. Dennis even suggested to Winnie, that he should wear something to hide the antenna.
The nest morning, Winnie was in Dennis' room, and is using a telescope to spy on Dennis. "Wolf to Bat, Wolf to Bat.", she said, seeing if Dennis could respond. "Testing, testing, testing, testing, testing, testing, testing.", she repeatedly said into the walkie-talkie.
"TESTING!", she soon screamed, "TEST, TEST, DO YOU READ?!". "Bat to Wolf.", Dennis soon responded, "Read you loud and clear.".
"Got your apple ready?", Winnie asked, to which Dennis holds up an apple. "Lucky undergarments?", she asked again, focusing the telescope to notice that Dennis does have his lucky pair of underwear on. "Bingo! Underwear, apple, and me.", she said, finishing the checklist.
"You're ready to get that certificate.", she said, soon noticing Swifton. "Uh-oh, here comes the instructor. Act natural.", Winnie ordered, so Dennis turned into a cow, and ate grass naturally. "No, get on the runway!", Winnie said, as Swifton goes up to Dennis.
"Give him the apple.", ordered Winnie, and Dennis gave the apple to the raven. Eating the apple, Swifton said, "Let's get this over with.", he eventually asked, "What's the first thing you do?".
Dennis started to get nervous, but Winnie told him the answer, "Spread your wings.". Dennis spreads his wings, and Swifton soon asked, "Is there a draft in here?", but Dennis told him that he just spread his wings out.
"You did the first step all by yourself?", he asked with excited confusion, and Dennis told him that he did. "Okay,", the raven said, now more calmer, "What's the second thing to do?". Just like before, Winnie gave Dennis another answer, "Test the wind.".
"Test the wind?", Dennis responded, to which it makes Swifton happy, knowing that he is doing better than last time. "So, what do you do now?", he asked, to which Dennis was about to take off, making Swifton nervous.
Luckily, Winnie shouted, "FREEZE, MISTER!", and told him to, "Flutter slowly.".
Dennis flapped his wings rapidly, and to his surprise, he was flying. "I can't believe it, you haven't crashed yet.", Swifton said, as he followed Dennis with glee.
"Okay,", Winnie said,"You're coming up to your first turn.". "Oh no, the first turn.", Swifton said, "Please tell me, how to navigate the first turn.". Winnie said the directions in which the turn is going, and Dennis didn't crash.
"Oh, this is splendid!", Swifton said, following Dennis' every move, and as the test kept on going, Winnie kept on giving Dennis answers to the questions.
"There it is!", Swifton said, "The end of the course.". "You've really improved on your skills. So what's your secret, a little radio in your head? And under that hat is an antenna? And somewhere, somebody is giving you all the answers?", he asked.
Dennis was laughing so hard, thinking that didn't happened, but it just did, as Winnie was laughing at the other side too. "Well, we had one student that did that once, and he did all those things, because he cheated.", Swifton said.
When Dennis heard about what happened, he soon realized that he was doing, and said to himself, "I'm cheating.". Dennis definitely decided that the right thing to do, is to confess that he is cheating.
"Swifton?", Dennis said, "I think I'm cheating.". "You're not looking where you're going, kid.", Swifton said, all cheery, but Dennis didn't care as he cried, "I DO HAVE A RADIO IN MY HEAD, AND I DO HAVE ANTENNA UNDER THIS HAT, AND I DO HAVE SOMEONE GIVING ME ALL THE ANSWERS, BECAUSE I'M CHEATING!".
When Winnie heard this, she went back to her room, and locked the door. "I'm sorry, Swifton.", Dennis continued to sob, but the raven just pressured Dennis to keep going, but instead of going to the finish line, Dennis caused Swifton to slam his head into the same wall again.
"Oh, Dennis,", Swifton muffled again, "Why?!".
"I'm sorry for letting this happen to you.", Dennis said, but Swifton just said it was okay, as he knew that Dennis was just trying his best.
"I guess I will never get that certificate.", Dennis said, but he soon realized that he doesn't have to need a certificate, as he can still flying really well. "I think I better cheer up a certain someone at the clinic.", he said happily, while flying there.
