Summary: While trying to deliver a pizza, Dennis and Abraham eventually get stranded in a deserted area, and have to find their way back home.
This chapter is the parody of the episode of the same name.
Just like with other hotels, Hotel Transylvania has shifts which are known as the 'Human Shift', which is the day shift, and the 'Monster Shift', which is the night shift. It was the night shift, and all the humans are going to bed, and Abraham was no obsession.
"Hurry up with those chairs, Dennis", Abraham said, to which Dennis wash cleaning the tables and chairs in the dining room. "It's past your bedtime, and I like to go to sleep.", he continued, still annoyed.
Just then, the telephone rang. "I got it!", Dennis said, as he flies over towards the phone, but Abraham picked up the receiver first. "Hello?", he said all tired, "Sorry sir, room service is closed...". Dracula soon grabbed the receiver from Abraham's hand, and took the call.
"Hello, this is room service.", Dracula said, "How may we help you?". Soon, Dracula was excited when he heard about what the customer wanted.
"Pizza? Of course we have pizza!", Dracula said, but Abraham tried to tell Dracula that the hotel doesn't sell pizza. "Our delivery man will bring it to you.", Dracula said, and hung up.
"But... this hotel doesn't sell pizza.", Abraham said with annoyance, but Dracula soon order the chefs to make a pizza, to which Abraham reluctantly felt pleased. "Okay.", he said, "But we don't deliver.".
"Of course, we don't deliver.", Dracula said, to which Abraham was very pleased, however it disappeared when Dracula told him, "You do!". Abraham now felt very annoyed, and even asked if Dennis would rather do it.
"Great idea!", Dracula said, mishearing Abraham's criticism, "Take him with you.". Dennis soon appeared next to Abraham, to which he said, "That's NOT what I have in mind!".
Before he and Abraham went into the delivery vehicle, Dennis did an entire check on the car. "Front end, check. Antenna, check. Bumper, check. Bumper sticker, check.", he said, as he also turned into a tire pump to check the tire pressure, to which Abraham was impatient.
"The vehicle is all checked out.", Dennis said with a big smile in his face. "We're making history here, Papa Abraham.", he continued, "Cebause, that lucky customer is going to get a pizza made by this hotel.".
"Good.", Abraham said with a glazed look, "Then you drive.". "I can't,", Dennis said, "I'm not old enough to drive.", to which Abraham interrupted, "Come on, Dennis. It's just on the other side of the hotel.".
"Just think of it as flying.", Abraham suggested, as Dennis buckles up in his seat. "Well, okay then.", Dennis said nervously, looking at the control panel.
"Wait, don't tell me.", he said, struggling on what to do next. "Back it up.", Abraham said, to which Dennis is confused, so he repeated it again, "Back it up.". "Right, back it up.", Dennis said, going to switch gears, but was scared to even move.
"BACK IT UP!", Abraham repeated for a third time, to which Dennis said that he's taking his time. "Shift it to reverse, Dennis.", Abraham corrected, hoping that Dennis would understand, but it made matters worse.
"Reverse?", Dennis said, but through his eyes, all the controls look like gibberish. "Back it up!", Abraham screamed, to which Dennis finally backed up, but now the car is backing up really fast. "Give me the wheel, Dennis. Give me the wheel.", Abraham said, as he and Dennis are fighting over the steering wheel.
The two, after backing up, have now find themselves in the middle of nowhere. "Well, you've backed up.", Abraham said, "And you know what?", he soon asked.
"I think we're out of gas.", he said as he got out of the car, "And do you what else? WE'RE IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE!". Dennis soon went up to Abraham, "And you know what else, else?', he asked, "I think the pizza is getting cold.".
Abraham suddenly became shocked, in a annoyed kind of way. "And the pizza is cold.", he said, "Oh. the pizza's cold, not the pizza.". He soon when to the car, "Can this day get any worse?!", he soon asked, and slammed him fist on the car, causing the gas to fill up and speed off.
"Well,", Dennis said, "I guess we have to travel on foot; or wheels in your case, Papa Abraham.".
Now traveling on a dirt road, Dennis was singing a little song to pass the time. "This yummy pizza, is the pizza for you and me.", he sang, while Abraham sang, "And this song is annoying.", before he stopped, and noticed Dennis with his ear to the ground.
"Dennis, what are you doing?", he asked all annoyed. "It's an old pioneer trick.", Dennis said, "My dad and I saw it in a movie once.".
"Dennis, this is no time to...", Abraham tried to say, but Dennis interrupted him, "It's working.", he said. "What is it?", Abraham asked in confusion, to which Dennis point to a bike heading their direction.
"Bike! Two-wheeler!", Dennis said, as the bike got closer. "Now I will show you how the pioneers hitchhike.", said Dennis, as he does a series of dance moves in the middle of the dirt road, while Abraham who is all annoyed, just played with a wooden spoon.
Soon the biker notices Dennis, "Get out of the bike path, hitchhiker!", he screamed, ringing his bell. "He's stopping! He's stopping!", Abraham said with excitement, only to realize that the biker is not stopping.
Fortunately, Abraham has saved Dennis' life, but unfortunately, the duo are more lost than ever.
Now even further from home. Dennis and Abraham are being pushed by strong winds. Dennis however, didn't care ss he kept on singing, while Abraham was ticked off.
Soon, the wind pushed Dennis in various directions, but managed to keep holding onto the pizza. "Will you let go of the stupid pizza already?", Abraham asked, but Dennis said, "I can't, it's for the customer.".
"Well, who cares about the customer!", Abraham said, and Dennis answered, "I do!". "Well I don't!", Abraham screamed, causing Dennis to glare at him and said, "Papa Abraham, that wasn't very nice.", but Abraham didn't care, and said, "Let go of the pizza.".
"No!", Dennis said, and eventually, the wind lifted him and the pizza into the air. "Dennis!", Abraham said, as he holds onto Dennis' legs, "Let go of the pizza!", but Dennis still refuses.
Soon, Abraham sees a tornado in the distance, and he knew it meant bad news. "Let go of the pizza!", he said once more, but like last time, Dennis refused. Eventually, Abraham told Dennis to hang into the pizza, when he was lifted off the ground and being sucked into the tornado.
Evening, the tornado tossed Dennis and Abraham even farther from home. "Where's the road?", Abraham said, as he panicked. Dennis on the other hand, who was flying the pizza down safely, was calm and made a hypothetical statement.
"I think the hotel's that way.", he said, observing a rock full of moss on one side. "Oh, don't tell me.", Abraham said with annoyance, "Does this still have to deal with the pioneers?".
"Yes.", Dennis said with confidence, as he told Abraham that moss always pointed the way back to civilization. "So what you're telling me,", Abraham said, "Is that we need to go that way?". "Yep.", Dennis said, to which Abraham interrupted with, "Well, I'm going THIS way.".
So, instead of risking the journey by himself, Dennis just followed Abraham, and kept on singing his song, with different remixes added. After miles of walking however, Dennis and Abraham are now tired.
"Dennis.", Abraham said, out of breath, "We gotta eat something.". Dennis agreed with Abraham's thinking, and said, "I've heard in times of hardship, the pioneers would eat leaves.", to which at that point, Abraham grabbed some tree leaves straight from the branch and ate them.
"No maybe it wasn't leaves.", Dennis soon said, rendering Abraham to spit them out. "Maybe it was dirt, or rocks or...", Dennis said, before Abraham interrupted, "Give me the pizza.".
"Wait! Now I remember it was leaves!", Dennis said, knowing that he was right before. "Give me the pizza!", Abraham said, but Dennis has reminded his step-great-grandfather multiple times, that the pizza is for the customer.
"You're right.", Abraham said, his mood becoming more friendlier, "It is for the customer.". Dennis however, was still protective of the pizza.
"Maybe we should check on it, and make sure it's okay.", Abraham suggested, to which Dennis was still nervous. "Just a peek.", he said, but Dennis closed it up, saying it was fine, but Abraham was sure that he saw something.
Abraham opened the pizza box again, and noticed that he was wrong, and looks okay. "Sure is a fine looking pizza.", Abraham said in a tempting voice, hoping that he would eat it.
"Wait a second.", Dennis said, realizing what's going on, "I know what you're trying to do, Papa Abraham. I'm not letting you eat the pizza.". "Don't make me take it from you, Dennis!", Abraham said, before Dennis just fled away from him, protecting the pizza.
"Give me that pizza, Dennis!", Abraham said, and chased Dennis, but Dennis was much faster and soon outrun him.
Dennis thought he was safe, until he bumped into Abraham's wheelchair. "I want that pizza!", he said, "And you're going to hand deliver it to me, one way or another.".
Dennis soon said, "Look, we're saved!", to which Abraham said that would have been saved, by eating the pizza. However, Dennis was so excited, that he went over to the thing that would save them, which is a giant boulder.
"That's just a stupid boulder.", Abraham said all angry. "But it's not just a boulder.", Dennis said with tears of joy, "It's Ol' Rocky!", and eventually hugged the rock. As Dennis climbed up the rock, he told Abraham that the pioneers has riden on the rock for miles, and the best part is that it's great shape.
"Dennis!", Abraham said with anger, "Will you for get the stupid pioneers.". "Haven't you known that there are none of them left?", he asked, "That's because they were lousy hitchhikers, ate leaves, and took directions from moss.".
"And now, you're telling me, that they thought they could drive...", but before Abraham finished, he got squished by the rock. "Rocks?", Abraham said, before following his great-great-grandson.
Now, Dennis and Abraham are at the residence of the customer, when they parked the rock. "I can't wait to see the look on the customer's face.", Dennis said with excitement and rang the doorbell.
"Hello?", said a swamp monster, who was the customer, and Dennis answered, "Congratulations, your pizza is here!". The swamp monster grabbed the pizza box, and said, "I've been dying to try one of these. It...". Suddenly, he stopped.
"Where's my drink?", he asked, to which Dennis got confused. "Don't tell me you forgot my soda that I ordered, right?", he said, his voice now becoming more aggressive. "But, you didn't order a drink.", Dennis tried to say, but the customer told Dennis that he asked for a drink, but Dracula hung up on him.
"How am I supposed to eat this pizza without a drink?!", he asked aggressive, to which Dennis gets very teary in his eyes. "But... I...", Dennis said, but the customer gave him back the pizza, and slammed the door.
Abraham soon noticed Dennis all smiley, and asked if he was okay. Dennis didn't say anything, and instead fell onto the ground and cried so hard, that his tears were acting like waterfalls.
Now, Abraham has a new feeling inside of him, and started to feel bad for Dennis. Abraham knew that empathy has caused him to feel just like Dennis, and now feeling enraged, picked up the pizza box and banged on the door.
"Oh, another one?", the snooty customer said, "Listen, I told that kid, I'm not eating that pizza without a drink.". But Abraham just said, now filled with rage, "Well, you're going to eat this pizza! Drink or no drink! WHETHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT!", he said, before slamming the pizza in the customer's face.
"Did he ate it?", Dennis said, still all teary. "Yep.", Abraham said, "He ate the whole thing.". "No drink?", Dennis asked once more, to which Abraham responded, "No drink.".
Dennis soon hugged Abraham, "You're the best!", he said, which in turn made Abraham happy. "Now let's go back home.", Abraham said, knowing that they now have to travel thousands of miles to get back home.
But to his surprise, Dennis drove the rock to the other side of the hotel, to which Abraham now asked Dennis, "We went on that long trip for nothing?!".
