Summary: After termites have destroyed Dennis' room, he has to make a choice of either living with another room, or moving in with Johnny's parents.
This chapter is the parody of the episode: Home Sweet Pineapple.
Lots of various things could destroy the hotel, including storms, earthquake, and especially Bela. However one of the worst scenarios, is with termites.
Speaking of which, there have been termite sightings around the area, and there was already a hoard of them marching on the ground. "Hungry!", the termites said, looking for their food.
The termites soon satisfied their hunger with eating a tree, but they were still hungry. "Still hungry!", the termites said, as they even ate a passing car. "Stupid termites!", said the driver.
Eventually, the termites said, "Thirsty!", and went into the hotel to find something to drink. The termites then sucked on the door of someone's bedroom, but that bedroom belongs to Dennis.
The things inside of Dennis' room started to shrink, as the termites kept on slurping on the wood, including an alarm clock, Tinkles' food dish, and even the bed.
When Dennis woke up, he couldn't believe his eyes. "Hooray! We're huge!", he said to Tinkles, only to realize that he was actually growing. "Wait a minute.", he soon said, and when he noticed the termites, he started to scream.
"What's the matter!", Mavis asked her son, to which she saw the problem. After putting Dennis outside safely, Mavis tried to call construction workers to rebuild Dennis' room, but they were closed.
As the termites walked away, Dennis got really angry at them. "Termites.", he said with sadness, "Mommy, will my room be fixed?", he soon asked.
"Unfortunately,", Mavis told her son, "those pesky termites have eaten your entire bed, as well as making the floor not safe to play on.".
"What's going on.", asked Dracula, as he, Johnny, and Ericka came over to see what happened. "My room is ruined!", Dennis said all teary eyed. "They really done such damage in there.", Ericka said.
Just then, Dennis saw a little black rock, and picked it up with his hands. "This is all that's left.", Dennis said, holding the rock out for everyone to see. "It's just a tiny little rock.", Johnny said, "We've never seen this room, unless you've got a rock collection.".
Winnie soon walked by, and she noticed what everyone was looking at. "Holy rabies!", she said with shock, "Your bedroom is destroyed! What happened?".
Quasimodo, who was just minding his own business, also saw the commotion. "What the heck is going on here?", he asked. "Termites have eaten Dennis' room.", Mavis responded.
"Now where am I supposed to sleep.", Dennis asked, his eyes flooding with tears. "Well,", Quasimodo told the young boy, "I guess I have to say nothing else but... It's been nice knowing you!", he teased, and ran away with glee.
"That wasn't nice.", Winnie said, with Johnny, Dracula, Mavis, and Ericka all agreeing with her statement. Johnny then said, "Well, I guess there's no choice, but to live with my parents.".
Dennis knew it would be a good idea to be with his paternal grandparents, which are Grandpa Mike and Grandma Linda. However, Winnie interrupted, "Wait a minute, you don't have to live with them!".
"What are you talking about?!", Johnny and Mavis asked, to which Winnie told them that they can renovate the room themselves. "We can't build a room!", Dennis criticized, however Winnie said that she fixes most of her brothers toys all the time, due to them not knowing how to fix them themselves.
"I think that could be a good idea.", Dracula said, "After all, we designed this room for you, so we can definitely fix it.". Mavis agreed to supervise Dennis, when he and Winnie did the renovations.
During the process of making the room, Dennis, Winnie, Mavis, and Ericka started with the floor. The floor however, had bits of moss in it, but it doesn't matter.
The next thing that they renovated is the walls, which unfortunately had some comical side effects. One instance, includes Dennis and Winnie hammering a nail with their toy hammers, however the nail keeps on jutting to each others side.
Eventually, Dennis and Winnie are outside of the renovated room, with Mavis and Ericka saying that they are proud of the two for fixing the room up. "We did it!", said Winnie, as Dennis said, "Well, what do you think?".
"I think this is the best room I've ever seen.", Winnie said, coaxing her best friend to try it out.
The room however, was very small, and Dennis can only fit if he goes in his bat form. "Well there's one bedroom.", he said, to which the room collapsed on the floor.
Now depressed, Dennis knew that he has to live with Johnny's parents. However, Winnie had an even better idea, which is having a sleepover at her room.
Now in Winnie's room, Dennis was sleeping in a sleeping bag, while Winnie slept in her bed. The rest of Winnie's brothers, are in a separate room, and they each have their own beds.
Dennis tried to sleep, but he can't because Winnie kept on snoring so loud. Now he needs to find a way to get to sleep, and to keep Winnie quiet while she sleeps.
Dennis found the solution, by using earplugs that he found near Winnie's nightstand, and soon he went into slumber. Minutes later, Winnie started to get chilly, and took the blanket that Dennis is using.
Soon, Dennis and Winnie are sleep fighting over the blanket, and unfortunately, Winnie won. This causes Dennis to feel chilly, knowing that he will have a long night, even though if that also means getting drooled on, and being tackled by her, due to her having bad dreams sometimes.
Meanwhile, Quasimodo woke up and checked a calendar. He's been counting down the days in which Dennis and his family are going to leave, before going back to sleep again.
Dennis snuck into Quasimodo's bedroom, and asked if he can stay, to which the sleepy hunchback said, "Yeah, sure whatever.", not even seeing him.
Dennis soon went into the bed, and liked how soft it is. "Can you scoot over a little?", Dennis asked, to which Quasimodo scooted over, making more room for Dennis. "And while you're at it,", Dennis continued, "can you give me a glass of water?".
Quasimodo soon came back, with a glass of water, and Dennis drank the whole thing. "I just love sleepovers.", Dennis said, to which Quasimodo said, "Me too.".
"Well, good night Quasimodo.", said Dennis, and the hunchback responded, "Good night, Dennis.". When he realized ehat he just said however, he with annoyance kicked Dennis out, "Good night, Dennis.", he said more sternly, and went back to his room.
The next morning, Quasimodo woke up, knowing that today is the day. "Is this really true?", he said, "It can't be, it finally is!".
Outside, Dennis was packing a suitcase, and a crestfallen Winnie, was sniffling tears. "It's the day that Dennis and his family, excluding Dracula moves!", Quasimodo announced, much to the annoyance of everyone.
"Don't worry,", said Johnny, "We'll visit the hotel now and then.". Quasimodo however told Johnny, not to cheer him up, due to the fact that he has hated him all the time. Soon, Grandpa Mike and Grandma Linda appeared.
"Hi Dennis, remember us?", Linda said happily. "Don't just stand there,", Mike said with a determined look, "You haven't seen us in a long time.". "Hi.", Quasimodo said, "Let me help you with your bags.", he then throws the bags into the back of the car.
"But before I go,", Dennis said, "I need to do something very important.". Dennis soon followed everyone to his former room, and pulled out the black pebble. "Even I know you for a little while,", he said, "I hope you love this vacant space little pebble.".
Dennis soon places the pebble in the ground, and he sniffed a tear, which somehow landed on the buried pebble. What Dennis didn't know, is that the pebble started to shimmer and glow. "Well, I guess this is goodbye then.", Johnny said, as he and Mavis went into the car.
"That's right,", Quasimodo teased, "Good-bye, good-bye, bye, bye, bye, bye!". He soon went to the vacant spot, hoping that Dracula might give him a personal bedroom, instead of sleeping in the kitchen. The pebble started to shake, which soon caused the whole ground to rumble.
"What's that rumbling coming from?", Mike asked, to which Dennis responded, "I think it's coming from the hotel.". Everyone soon ran inside, and then they saw a miraculous event.
A plant came out from under the ground, and it renovated the entire room, which is similar to that of Dennis' old bedroom. "Wow!", Dennis said, "My room is back!". "I guess that pebble was actually a seed.", Mavis said, to which Dennis somehow realized that everything made sense.
As everyone went inside of Dennis' recovered room, Dennis told Quasimodo, who was all buried, "Isn't it great? I'm back forever!", much to Quasimodo's disbelief.
