Onward to Zapapico
Ed, Lynn, and Lana are walking towards where the Pokemon Center on the map is with Lana clinging onto Ed's back, sniffing him along the way. Edd, Lola, and Lisa were in another part of the area, also heading towards the Pokemon Center. Eddy, Leni, and Luan were also on their way to the Pokemon Center. Eddy kept putting an arm around Leni's waist, only for Leni to smack it away from her. Soon they all reached the Pokemon Center just as the others showed up.
"Hey, everyone." said Lincoln.
"Hey, dude." said Stan.
"How is everyone doing?" asked Edd.
"Some of my Pokemon learned some new moves." said Lincoln.
"So did mine. Also, my Chewtle evolved into a Drednaw, and my Kirlia evolved into a Gallade." said Clyde. "And I also captured a Torkaol."
"Wow!" said Kyle. "I've seen pictures of Gallade in my studies at Naranja Academy, and they looked so cool!"
"I know!" said Clyde with excitement.
"My Sandile evolved into a Krokorok." said Ronnie Anne. "And I caught a Rockruff."
"My Pokemon learned some new moves." said Lori.
"So did mine, and I caught a Growlithe." said Bobby.
"My Bounsweet, like, evolved into a Steenee." said Leni.
"Me and Sam's Toxels evolved into Toxtricities." said Luna.
"Luna's Toxtricity is the Amped Form one; mine's the Low Key one." said Sam.
"I caught a Voltorb." said Lynn.
"My Pokemon learned some new moves." said Luan. She then reaches into her backpack and pulls out an orange, sun-shaped, rock. "And I found this weird-looking rock." Lincoln looks at it and recognizes it.
"Hey, that's a Sun Stone!" said Lincoln.
"What is it?" asked Luan.
"It's like the Fire and Water Stones that Kenny bought yesterday in Levincia." said Lincoln.
"Speaking of Fire Stones..." said Bobby as he reaches into his backpack and pulls a Fire Stone out of it. "I found one a while ago."
"You said you caught a Growlithe, right?" asked Lincoln.
"Yeah?" replied Bobby.
"If you touch it with your Fire Stone, he'll evolve into Arcanine." said Lincoln. "And Luan; if you touch your Sunkern with Sun Stone, she'll evolve into Sunflora."
"Wow!" replied Bobby and Luan. Bobby lets his Growlithe out of his pokeball, while Luan lets her Sunkern out of her pokeball. They both touch their Pokemon with their respective stones and they both begin to glow. Bobby watched as his Growlithe began to grow. When he stopped glowing, he was larger and had bushier fur. Lincoln takes out his Rotom Phone and points it at the newly evolved Growlithe.
"Arcanine, the Legendary Pokemon, and the evolved form of Growlithe. An ancient picture scroll shows that people were captivated by its movement as it ran through prairies." said Lincoln's Rotom Phone. Edd takes out his Rotom Phone and points it at Arcanine.
"Arcanine, the Legendary Pokemon and the evolved form of Growlithe. Its magnificent bark conveys a sense of majesty. Anyone hearing it can't help but grovel before it." said Edd's Rotom Phone. Bobby looked in awe at his new Arcanine.
"This...is so...AWESOME!" said Bobby and he hugs his Arcanine. Meanwhile, Luan's Sunkern now looked like a sunflower with leaflike arms and two short legs. Lincoln takes out his Rotom Phone and points it at Luan's newly evolved Pokemon.
"Sunflora, the Sun Pokemon, and the evolved form of Sunkern. In the daytime, it rushes about in a hectic manner, but it comes to a complete stop when the sun sets." said Lincoln's Rotom Phone. Edd then points his Rotom Phone at Sunflora to see what his universe's Rotom Phone says about her.
"Sunflora, the Sun Pokemon, and the evolved form of Sunkern. Since it converts sunlight into energy, it is always looking in the direction of the sun." said Edd's Rotom Phone.
"Wow!" said Luan. Eddy walks over to Luan and holds out a hand.
"Congratulations, Luan." said Eddy.
"Hey, thanks Eddy." said Luan as she grabs Eddy's hand, only to get an electric shock. "OW!" She looks at Eddy's hand and sees a joy buzzer on it.
"Sorry; couldn't resist." said Eddy with a smirk. Luan lets out a chuckle.
"That's okay." said Luan as she pats Eddy's back. "I can appreciate a good joke." Just then, Ed walks up behind Eddy and kicks him.
"Hey! What did you do that for, you lump?!" asked Eddy.
"The sign on your back said to." said Ed. Eddy reaches behind him and feels something on his back. He pulls it off and sees it was a sheet of paper that had 'KICK ME! I'M A DOOFUS!' written on it. He grumbles as he looks over at Luan who was looking away with a coy smile.
"I'll bet you got a 'kick' out of that." said Luan. "Ha ha ha ha ha. Get it?" Ed laughed in response, which Eddy responded to by stomping on his foot.
"Anyway, I caught a Finneon." said Leonard.
"I caught a Barboach." said Lana.
"I caught a Sableye." said Lucy from behind Luan, startling her. "And my Gastly is a Haunter now."
"Cool." said Lincoln.
"My Pokemon learned some new moves." said Lola.
"As did mine." said Lisa.
"My Maschiff evolved into Mabosstiff." said Stan.
"Like Arven's?" asked Leni.
"Yeah." replied Stan.
"My Phanpy evolved into a Donphan, and my Arrokuda evolved into a Barraskewda." said Kyle.
"My Pokemon learned some new moves." said Kenny.
"So did mine, and my Larvitar evolved into Pupitar." said Cartman.
"Hey, Cartman." said Kyle. "You should put your new Sneasel on your team. Having more types of Pokemon on your team could help."
"Hey, yeah!" said Cartman. He uses his Rotom Phone to swap his Tarountula for his Sneasel.
"I caught a Cufant, and my Tinkatink evolved into a Tinkatuff." said Butters.
"Kewl." said Cartman.
"And my Pokemon learned some new moves." said Trent. "Also, my Houndour evolved into a Houndoom."
"I remember that Pokemon." said Lincoln. "I saw one the day we got our Koraidons in the Inlet Grotto. That's one Pokemon I wouldn't cross paths with."
"My Pokemon learned some moves, and my Flaaffy evolved into an Ampharos." said Ed.
"Sweet." said Kyle.
"My Pokemon learned some moves as well." said Edd.
"MIne too, and my Luxio evolved into Luxray." said Eddy as he wipes his knuckles on his shirt. Remembering Eddy's Gimmighoul; Lincoln, Ronnie Anne, and Clyde each pull out all the Gimmighoul coins they found a while ago.
"Here's some Gimmighoul coins." said Lincoln.
"Yeah, Linc told us you were looking for them to help your Gimmighoul evolve, so we kept our eyes open for them." said Ronnie Anne. A big smile appears on Eddy's face as he accepts them.
"You guys are the best!" said Eddy.
"We know." said Ronnie Anne with a smirk.
"We are all making astounding progress." said Lisa.
"I concur." said Edd. While their Pokemon were getting treated, Lincoln walks over to the Pokemon Center's PokeMart and pulls out his Rare Bone.
"Ewww. What's that?" asked Lola.
"Rare Bone." answered Lincoln. "I can sell it for five thousand pokedollars."
"I have one, too." said Lucy from behind Lincoln, startling him. They both hand their Rare Bones to the store clerk, and each get five thousand pokedollars back. Ronnie Anne sold the three pearls she got at the Tera Den where she caught Rockruff and got twenty-one hundred pokedollars back. Lincoln then pulls out his Rotom Phone and looks at his map of Paldea.
"This says that there's a town west of here called Zapapico." said Lincoln. "We can stop there for dinner and maybe find a place to sleep for the night.
"Good idea." said Lola. "All this Pokemon training is hard work."
"Even though our Pokemon are the ones really doing the work." said Lana.
"Yeah, we should let them relax once in a while." said Lincoln.
"Agreed." said Edd.
"I like playing with them." said Ed with excitement.
"We know that, lumpy." said Eddy. After they get their Pokemon back, everyone but Lincoln gets into the Starmobile.
"Aren't you getting in, Lincoln?" asked Clyde.
"I did promise Ms. Dendra that I'd rely on my legs more to get around." said Lincoln. Lynn hops out of the Starmobile and walks next to Lincoln.
"I should stay with him to make sure he doesn't slack off." said Lynn. Ronnie Anne climbs out and walks over to them.
"I'll stay with him, too." said Ronnie Anne, getting smirks from everyone else. The Starmobile starts moving at a slow pace while Lincoln, Lynn, and Ronnie Anne jog behind it. As they head down the path, they see it split in two directions with one trail leading into a forested area.
"What's that forest?" asked Lana. Edd pulls out his Rotom Phone and looks at it.
"It's called Tagtree Thicket." said Eddy.
"Can we explore it tomorrow?" asked Lana.
"Sure. There could be more cool Pokemon in there." said Lincoln. Edd looks at his map and notices something else.
"That's not all that's in there?" asked Edd.
"What do you mean?" asked Stan.
"There's another Team Star base there." said Edd.
"Another one already?" asked Kyle.
"Yes. This one belongs to a Team Star group called the Navi Squad." said Edd.
"Should we take them on?" asked Kenny.
"Not right now." said Edd.
"It's kind of getting late." said Lincoln as he sees the sun was starting to go down.
"We'll take them on tomorrow then." said Edd.
"Let's just get to Zapapico." said Stan.
"Yeah." said Cartman. They all then continue to travel towards Zapapico. Along the way, Lincoln sees a green stone that looked like it had a lightning bolt in it and picks it up.
"What's that?" asked Lynn.
"A Thunder Stone." said Lincoln.
"What are you gonna do with it?" asked Ronnie Anne.
"I'll hold onto it." said Lincoln as he puts it in his backpack. They all run to catch up with the Starmobile and they all soon reach their destination: Zapapico.
